Dating Sirius Black would include

A/N: The part 2 to this one. I have no excuses for taking so long to write it, except that my inspiration is as changing as Tonks haircut. Enjoy 🖤

- Let's be honest here, it would be a rollercoaster. Sirius was never taught how to love, not until he met the Marauders or the Potters at least

- And you cannot really call dating as many girls as possible before dumping them because they get too attached love

- However, with you, he would be surprisingly committed. When he loves, this boy loves with his entire soul

- Lots of PDA, or what James would call "disgusting couple things"

- (mainly because Lily keeps refusing him)

- Sirius would proudly wrap his arm around your waist or your shoulders everywhere. You would secretly hold hands in class, or he would wink at you and blow kisses across the room

- He would pay attention even less, much to the annoyance of McGonagall

- Instead, he would send you flying love notes or stare lovingly into your eyes

- "Black, you will not find the answer to my question in Miss (Y/L/N) eyes."

"Are you sure?"

- So.much.making.out

- Soft kisses, intense kisses, longing kisses, goofy kisses

- "You guys, I'm trying to eat here"

"Time to go to class, make out later"

- Sirius would be the best at finding amazing dates. He is definitely a late night date type of person

- Stargazing at the astronomy tower with cigarettes, stealing pastries from the kitchens, taking you for a motorcycle ride, showing you the most secret pathways in Hogwarts, or making him discover Muggle music like the Beatles or the Stones and he loves it

- Endless night talks about life in front of the fireplace

- Sneaking into his bed so many times than the other Marauders become used to it

- This boy craves for your attention. If he loses it, he will act like a lost puppy

- Trying to get him to study more with you but failing

- Sirius ending up distracting you from studying at the library by telling you dirty jokes, causing you to eventually burst out laughing. And get kicked out

- Life would be an adventure with him, and dating him is such a freeing experience, the boy would love you intensely

- However, Sirius' insecurities would come back real quick

- He would be so scared to lose you and would get jealous very quickly

- A lot of self sabotaging and "I'm not worthy of you" from his part

- Sirius doesn't open up easily, he hides his vulnerability and wounds behind a strong ego and easygoing, smug attitude. But if you are patient and soft enough with him, he will eventually

- Hair and scalp massages to calm him down and soothe him

- Secretly wiping tears and comforting embraces

- Depressive episodes when Regulus becomes a death eater

- Regular outbursts of anger because of his mother

- Being the first one to know when he runs away at the Potters

- You are a bit worried at first, but Sirius takes it surprisingly well. He says that he doesn't need them, he has you and his friends

- Always being this mix between a gentleman and a cocky, dirty talker type of person

- Whispering the dirtiest things possible in your ear everywhere, this boy has no filter

- Him trying to convince you to get your first tattoo

- Accompanying him when he gets another one

- Lots of "please get a room"

- A lot of sex (but I'll give more details on a potential part 3 maybe?)

- Eventually getting caught in an empty classroom and McGonagall awkwardly giving you the talk in her office

- Very awkward moment, and Sirius cannot stop showing the smugiest face

- Being the Hogwarts couple goal

- Sirius meeting your parents at the end of 6th year, and to say that he would be nervous is an understatement

- But his natural charisma and """"good education"""" would do the work for him and your parents would love him, also because they would see these special sparkles in both of your eyes when you look at each other

- Doing everything in your power to make Jilly happen

- Being very happy when it does

- Moving in together when class is over 🖤

idk why im in such a bad mood rn but it actually PISSES ME TF OFF how the entire marauders fandom collectively decided to take this bum-ass loser character with one discernable impact on the storyline (regulus. im talking about regulus) and make him a super complex, three-dimensional MAIN character in the era that’s being literally paired with JAMES POTTER(???) when they could’ve taken a character who AREADY has existing complexities and everything they could ever want and develop them. but they won’t because that character is a fucking woman ☠️☠️

the way the black sisters would have the entire fandom in a fucking chokehold if they were boys. do you actually think sirius and regulus would be as cherished as they are now if they were women? hell fucking no, regulus would be hated on so badly. the way we were given narcissa and fucking andromeda too? here’s the entire fandom yapping on and on about how cool regulus is for rebelling against the dark lord when narcissa was doing it and fucking getting away with it too (because she’s better and doesn’t suck ass). here’s andromeda going against her entire bloodline ON HER OWN but yet shes still so overshadowed by sirius (who literally came after her). then you got bellatrix who is canonly one of the most powerful (and cuntiest) witches in the hp-verse and you decide to go and develop BARTY instead. think about it. they’re both crazy except one is more of a loser and is a male so of course the fandom will choose him.

and then. of course. lily evans who is literally the mother of the entire verse itself is still out here fighting for literal recognition and development from the fandom. and those mfs still give it to regulus instead ☠️☠️

you’ll be a lot happier in fandom spaces if you abandon the idea that only your personal headcanons of characters are accurate and instead adopt the idea of multiple universes where every iteration of that character exists.

YOUR version is sirius might not listen to taylor swift, or wear skirts, or be a bratty bottom that needs to be taken care of by his daddy dom remus lupin

but that doesn’t mean that sirius as a multi-universe character never would

the beauty of fandom is that every expression of these characters is a little different every time a new person brings their own experiences to their art

Harry Potter

Harry heard from Hermione first

As soon as she told him, he felt his heart drop

Nobody deserved to have that happen to them. And to him, the idea of it happening to you was even more maddening

His first instinct was to find you

When he did, you were sitting alone under a tree by the Great Lake, your eyes set out and focused on the glittering water in front of you

He sat down beside you, and for the first few moments, neither of you said a word

"I'm sorry," he said, "you didn't deserve that"

He wrapped an arm around you and you leaned your head on his shoulder

He could have stayed like that for hours

Harry made sure to mess with the guy who did it, using his invisibility cloak to make sure all of his belongings mysteriously went missing

Next Valentines day, Harry makes sure you have a Valentines Day you deserve

Draco Malfoy

Draco found you sitting alone at a table in the Great Hall, a book open in front of you

He laughed as he sat down across from you

"I thought you were on your little Valentines date with that Hufflepuff boy"

He was furious when he found out

His immediate thought was to confront the guy who did it to you

It didn't take him long to find him and about half the school heard Draco cuss him out

You only heard through Cho Chang what he had said

When you confronted him about it, he said it was nothing. He told you that he had never liked the guy anyway and it gave him a reason to confront him

It was his eyes that gave his true intentions away

When you kissed him, he didn't quite know what to do with his hands, they were left floating randomly and awkwardly in the air

After a second however, they came to rest on your hips, bringing you closer and deepening the kiss

(Young) Sirius Black

Sirius found out when you got back to the Gryffindor common room, a look on your face that was holding back tears

He immediately rushed up out of his spot on the lounge suite and grabbed your elbow to stop you from going up the stairs

When you told him what had happened, he pulled you into his arms

He promised to take you out then and there, giving you a Valentines Day that you deserved

When you told him that he was being ridiculous, that you were okay and just wanted to go up to your room, he shook you off

There was no way you were going to be sitting in your room alone

Sirius led you out the common room and took you over to Hogsmeade

As you two passed the guy you were supposed to be with, Sirius made sure he had his arm sitting around your shoulders

Sirius tried his best to make you laugh over butterbeers at the Three Broomsticks

He held your hand as you walked through the snowing village, feeling more and more proud of himself as the smile on your face grew bigger and bigger

Scrolling on here is so whiplash inducing because one post will be the most delicious, canon-based take on Sirius Black I have ever seen, acknowledging his core traits and analyzing his character in an intelligent, nuanced way independent of his relationship with Remus

...and then the very next post will be some incorrect quote BS or a snippet or a wildly OOC take that depicts Sirius as a mindless, love-crazed dumbass whose entire personality is acting as a cocksleeve for his big strong alpha master that only just barely tolerates him and gets off on belittling and mocking his trauma.

AU where after Potter's death Sirius was able to capture Peter and get him to the Ministry. So Black is not a suspect and is Harry's guardian. Wolfstar raise Harry BUT! Let's get back to Peter. They tell the Ministry he's an Animagus and sneaky one and can escape. But Remus and Sirius didn't want their ex-friend to be kissed by Dementor, it's both too cruel and too merciful. That's why they came up with a plan. As a punishment for Peter's crimes the Ministry made him transform into his Animagus form and after that completely erased his memory.

Peter became Harry's rat with no memory of his human life and spent the rest of it as a pet, being not able to harm anyone and entertaining the boy he deprived of his parents.

・The Golden Trio all love Lizzo. Harry loves her confidence, Ron loves her charisma and is attracted to her and Hermione loves how uplifting her songs can be

・Is a lot more well-versed in muggle music

・So when he shows Ron all the different types of muggle music, he understands a glimpse of what everyone felt when they were showing Harry the magical world.

・Headcanon that Harry somehow saves up his money to buy a walkman (one of those things that you put cd's in to listen to it) or a small portal radio or takes one of Dudley's many birthday presents. Anway, it's a way for Harry to listen to music. He is a maladaptive daydreamer (like us!!!) and would sneak off from the Dudley's house to lay down in the grass and have his headphones on, getting lost in music

・He has a broad range of musical taste

・From classical, to beautiful movie scores, to old music to new.

・I do think that Harry would be a bit of a metal head though, and he would love Korn, Rob Zombie, and Godsmack.

・Feels a personal connect to the song Me and the Devil by Soap&Skin. It's how he felt during the height of Voldemort's power.

・Underground !!! By Cody Fry !!! Has amazing daydreams about the song!!!

・Loves David Bowie!!! Definitely would want to dress up as him for Halloween (can you imagine a little marauder halloween party??)

・HOZIER HOZIER HOZIER HOZIER. Oh my god, some of his favourites would be Cherry Wine and Sunlight. The soul, the guttural... umph that Hozier has with all of his songs. It moves Remus every time. The lyrics would mean so much to him.

・His taste in music is songs that make him feel connected to the artist or what the message of the song is

・Always has the radio on at home, while being a professor at Hogwarts etc

I love the bsf!james potter fics where reader is in love with him and he’s an oblivious git and reader is done with his flirting with Lily, so she goes on a date usually it’s with Sirius or a Ravenclaw, if she goes on a date with the Ravenclaw she’ll end up with James, but if she goes on a date with our precious Padfoot, most likely she’ll end up with him. I’m not saying this is all of them, but I’ve read a lot of those, and I can’t say I mind.
