Maple Syrup & Rosemary 🌿 Glazed Parsnips Recipe This side dish of roasted parsnips is slightly sweet and the rosemary brings out the flavours. The sightly caramelized taste means they'll stand out when served with your roast dinner. No need to use honey.
In this recipe, we'll show you how to make delicious and crispy spicy chicken with a kick. We'll be using chicken thighs and marinating them in a flavorful mix of consommé, chili powder, potato starch, soy sauce, sake, and mayonnaise. Then, we'll top it off with our special spicy sauce for an extra layer of depth.
First, make small cuts in the chicken thighs and cut them into bite-sized pieces. Marinate the chicken in a mixture of consommé, chili powder, potato starch, soy sauce, sake, and mayonnaise for about 30 minutes.
Next, spread potato starch on a tray and mist it with water to create a powdery texture. Coat the chicken pieces with this mixture, ensuring a generous coating, and then deep fry them until they turn golden brown and crispy. This is your crispy and spicy chicken done to perfection.
For the special spicy sauce, mix honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, black vinegar, chili powder, garlic, and sesame seeds. Dip the freshly fried chicken into this sauce, allowing the crispy texture to soak up the sweet and savory flavors, creating an incredibly delicious combination.
Feel free to enjoy this dish as a snack, for dinner, or as a bento box side dish. Everyone will be delighted by this easy yet extraordinary spicy chicken. 😘😘😘

Every year I make mashed sweet potatoes for Thanksgiving dinner. But I am bored!! with that so this year I decided to make a chunky version. I tinkered with this dish a few times, varying the seasoning. Sometimes I add fresh ginger, sometimes use raisins instead of cranberries. Once used pear instead of apple. But this is the recipe I’ll serve on Thanksgiving: Roasted Sweet Potatoes with Apples and Cranberries. Find it in the profile and on my website. The website recipe includes links to other sweet potato recipes. #sweetpotato #sweetpotatoes #roastedsweetpotatoes #roastedsweetpotato #sweetpotatoandapple #sidedish #sidedishes #thanksgiving #thanksgiving2022 https://www.instagram.com/p/CkysXhnv-EW/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
Reposted from @rootingforveg 5 spice Peach and Raspberry salad @ottolenghi Simple - a really easy fruit salad with a delicious dressing of Chinese 5 spice seasoning with maple syrup, cider vinegar, olive oil and thinly sliced shallots. Fresh raspberries are then crushed and added to the dressing and fresh sliced peaches are placed on a bed of greens - recipe calls for watercress and radicchio but I used rocket and lollo rosso leaves then the dressing is poured over. I post this as part of this weekend’s celebration of fruit hosted by @oksanaritchie @culyzaar @tanya.mushanova @teffe_kocht - thank you ladies 😍 #rootingforveg #greatmindscookottolenghi #ottolenghi #icookedottolenghisimple #yotamottolenghi #plantbased #fruitsalad #sidedish #bbqsides #salad #peaches #raspberries #instafood #instagood #colourfulfood #healthyfoods #aberdeenshirefoodie #scottishfoodie #onmytable #freshfruit https://www.instagram.com/p/Cg4s_95sY57/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
