Complete List of Marauder's Era Students
Tell me if I missed anyone! Under the cut because it is a very long list. I'm defining Marauder's Era as the seven years the Marauders were attending Hogwarts. Includes some fanon first names. Organised A-Z by surname. Some liberties taken with uncertain birth dates.

On His Terms
by Sarah Crompton
With his red cap pulled down over horn-rimmed glasses, Tobias Menzies walks into a London hotel with the wariness of a man who might just be recognized. It's his face that would catch him out, those deep lines running from eyes to chin. "He had those even as a young man," says his friend the theater director Rupert Goold. "It's like someone has taken a knife and carved them. And I feel those lines run deep inside him as well. He's grown into his face like a lot of actors do."
Menzies's smile is warm and his handshake firm, and though he lives not far from here in north London's Crouch End, he is dressed more as a country dweller than a man-about-town, in jeans and blue gilet zipped over a soft mustard-and-red-checked shirt. Only his Grenson trainers, white and red and with flashes of the same yellow, suggest he might belong to an artier milieu.
"I don't get recognized on any intrusive level, but it's not a part of [the job] that I love," he admits as we settle down to talk. "I like to watch people—I don't like them to watch me." I've asked him about the experience he's having at 49—that of a talent stepping into his prime. Blame it on The Crown, in which he played the second incarnation of Prince Philip across two seasons (a role that won him an Emmy), and last year's wry, acclaimed comedy You Hurt My Feelings, in which he starred opposite Julia Louis-Dreyfus ("He's one of the most warm and present actors I've worked with," says its director, Nicole Holofcener). And now, he's appearing in two leading-man roles, as Edwin Stanton, Abraham Lincoln's secretary of war, in Apple TV+'s series Manhunt in March, and he's currently onstage in The Hunt, an adaptation of the 2012 Thomas Vinterberg film directed by Goold, playing at St. Ann's Warehouse in Brooklyn five years after its London premiere.
"I've got to be honest, I really liked it," Menzies says of the status he enjoyed in Manhunt. "Being in the engine room of it and part of the storytelling decisions." The series is part thriller and part history lesson, set over the 12 days following Lincoln's assassination in 1865 as Stanton attempts to track down the president's killer, John Wilkes Booth (it's based on historian James L. Swanson's 2006 bestseller). Episodes skip forward and backward, tracing the story of a tumultuous time and the ideological schisms that caused the Civil War and continued long after it. Stanton, a brilliant lawyer and strategist, is at the center of everything, clashing with Lincoln's successor, President Andrew Johnson, as he attempts to preserve the late president's legacy.
As gripping as any detective story, Manhunt addresses painful facts of America's past: "The implications of losing Lincoln and what that meant for African American people," says showrunner Monica Beletsky, who spent four years developing the project and who has followed Menzies's career since they overlapped as students at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London (she on a stint studying there from the US). "You could argue in a way that the Confederates won the peace," Menzies points out. "What is important about Monica making the show is that she is a person of color, and arguably the big fallout from Lincoln's assassination was that Reconstruction was lost until 100 years later and the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s. Voting rights, land rights—they didn't happen. A lot of the things that African Americans have been fighting so hard for, for so long, were on Stanton's agenda."
Menzies studied carefully for the role ("He prepares months in advance," says Beletsky), working to find Stanton's voice and make his accent seem effortless, but also reading widely about the Civil War and its aftermath. Doris Kearns Goodwin's classic history Team of Rivals was a particularly rich source: "It takes you into this very disparate group Lincoln collected around him," Menzies says. "There was such a diversity of opinion and a lot of antagonism, but that was part of the power of it." Menzies also studied Gregory Peck's towering performance as Atticus Finch in To Kill a Mockingbird. "I was thinking of those archetypes that American literature and film are full of," he says. "Because it's such a whirlwind story with so many different characters floating through it—so you need a moral compass."
The key to the character became a combination of "stoicism and radicalism," Menzies says—and as an actor, he's exceptionally good at playing men who are fighting such opposing impulses, with strong currents of feeling running beneath an impassive surface. "He is one of those rare actors who does a lot with silence," Beletsky says. "He makes you believe you can feel what he is thinking, and he can do those things without saying a word."
Goold, who has directed Menzies many times onstage—including as Hamlet, as Valentine in Tom Stoppard's Arcadia, and as Edgar in King Lear—thinks this quality has become stronger as Menzies has grown older. "He's got this wonderful physical expressiveness, but there's a slightly remote quality to him, I suppose," Goold says. "The quality I find really compelling in him is his committed curiosity. It's quite rare, especially for British actors, to keep their craft developing, to become more rigorous and investigative, and I think Tobias is an outlier on that."
Menzies is attracted to roles that conceal depths. "There is a certain magic about that. Part of the maths is that there is more on the inside than on the outside"
Their most recent collaboration is The Hunt, a haunting story in which a small-town teacher becomes ostracized when a six-year-old child accuses him of abuse. Menzies will be reprising his devastatingly observed performance from the play's 2019 London premiere. "When we put it on, we felt it to be about false accusations and the way that cancel culture was creating pariahs," says Goold. "But it is as much about someone who is shut out from their community because they choose to live apart. There is part of Tobias that is like that."
Menzies acknowledges that he is attracted to roles that conceal depths. "It's partly a taste thing," he says. "I like the kind of acting where I can't see the performance, I can't see how it is happening. There is a certain magic about that. Part of the maths is that there is more on the inside than on the outside, there's a kind of mystery there."
Menzies was born in London, his father a radio producer for the BBC, but after his parents separated when he was six, he lived with his mother, a drama teacher, and his brother in Kent. On their regular cultural outings, he was inspired by contemporary dance and the experimental theater companies he saw: Pina Bausch, Complicité, Shared Experience, Cheek by Jowl. "I was interested in companies that were making their own work," he says, "and I tried to go to train with [the radical movement coach] Jacques Lecoq in Paris; but I didn't have the money for that, so I went to RADA."
He never dreamed of being a famous actor. "My obsession as a kid was tennis," he says, with a grin. He was good enough to be on the fringes of the team for the county of Kent but gave it up when he realized he would never be truly first-class. He stopped playing for a long time. "Periodically I would pick up a racket and try to play a bit, and my game had completely fallen apart and it made me so angry. It was so frustrating. A few years ago I thought, Let's start again, do my 10,000 hours, and let's fix it." He approached the task with "monomaniacal" intent, working for a year on his forehand, and a year on his backhand, then adding his serve. Now he plays three times a week at a local tennis club, either with a coach or taking on other members in clay court matches. "I'm pretty obsessive about it," he says. "I just find it fascinating. It is such a mental game—a very interesting microcosm of one's brain."
His hero is Novak Djokovic. "He has less natural flair than Nadal or Federer but there is an epic quality to his tennis. He is able to endure and suffer, and so he can do it all in some way. There is a sort of purity to what he is doing. I think only if you have struggled with tennis do you realize that even though it looks plain, what's going on, the footwork, the ability to get to that ball and then hit it—it's just rather remarkable."
Menzies admits that his attitude to life mirrors his tennis. "I am probably on the methodical end of things, yeah," he says, with another low laugh. I ask about his film roles, which have been getting bigger and richer of late. He loved filming in New York with Holofcener on You Hurt My Feelings—"It was definitely bucket list"—and is currently appearing alongside Brad Pitt in the as-yet-untitled Formula 1 drama directed by Joseph Kosinski, which is filming scenes at Grand Prix around the world.
Before the actors' strike interrupted production, they had shot two scenes at Silverstone in the UK. "It was bonkers because we are in amongst everything else. So we did this scene on the grid before the race and the grid is live: real drivers, real cars, celebrities wandering around." He pauses, then adds: "It was like theater on steroids—really, really fun." He has nothing but praise for Pitt—"a lovely, lovely person, very collaborative, very nice to act with, and supersmart"—but working with him brought Menzies face-to-face with a level of fame that he doesn't aspire to. "How does he go out? It is very constraining to have that level of visibility."
Partly from a desire to preserve his anonymity as much as he can, Menzies took an early decision never to talk about his private life. "Is that old-fashioned of me?" he asks. "I'm going to stick to my guns. It's partly natural shyness on my part. But to be a bit more grandiose about it, the idea of celebrity moving into the arts and acting does have an effect on how we watch."
Through it all Menzies is genial and engaged, asking a lot of questions, yet there is something formal about him too. This is someone who is deeply serious about acting, pursuing projects that interest him and then immersing himself in them. I ask if being able to choose work of quality and interest is part of this new level of success, and Menzies says that it has come at a good time. "The question for me would have been whether as a younger person I would have handled it very well," he tells me. "I just think at some base level, it has taken me time to get really good." He laughs gently. "If I'd had a lot of exposure early on, I don't think I'd have been ready. I know I am a lot better now than I was 10 years ago. Acting keeps you very humble because you never quite know day-to-day. You can do all the work in the world and try the best you can, and sometimes it just lifts off and sometimes it doesn't."

SEVERUS SNAPE WIP:
@montrasity said:
i'm writing a severus snape centric fanfiction that's a canon divergence au which deals with severus snape as an obscurial (which was mostly stagnant throughout his earliest years because of the balance between his mother's love and his father's hatred) and it ends up manifesting during the start of his fifth year due to his mother's death (this will be the summer after the werewolf and SWM incidents (which were also main triggers in this awakening) which i pushed back to have happened in 4th instead of 5th year) and the story goes on from there.
It'll be a slytherin centric fic, with this as the character sheet:
5th years (who will later on become severus's best friends in the books):
edmund avery jr. - pureblood slytherin, suffers from a blood curse(basically leukemia for wizards)
bruce mulciber - pureblood slytherin, potential(?) love interest for severus, though i'm not set on it yet
william wilkes - half-blood slytherin, son to one of the most notorious original death eaters (although he tries to hide this by always being bubbly and happy)
aurora sinistra - pureblood ravenclaw, i read somewhere that she and severus were friends (since they were professors closest in age at hogwarts) and i decided to roll with it
charity burbage - muggleborn hufflepuff, headcannoned their friendship after the "please severus, we're friends" scene in the movies, becomes a sort of anchor for severus throughout the book, love interest with aurora
6th years (basically the mother hens of the 5th year squad, with their own diverging storylines):
narcissa black - pureblood slytherin, severus's confidant
belladonna zabini - pureblood slytherin, heiress to the contessa of magical italy (honestly she's such a badass and we only got like one line about her character), best friends with narcissa
7th years ( also the mother hens of the 5th year squad )
lucius malfoy - pureblood slytherin, severus's pseudo father figure given who his actual father is
rupert dolohov - pureblood slytherin, the happy go lucky uncle who drinks all his problems away
andromeda black - pureblood slytherin, following her journey of breaking her family ties while keeping those she loves close
4th years (who all kind of admire severus):
regulus black - pureblood slytherin, sees severus as a brother figure due to his enstranged relationship with sirius
evan rosier - pureblood slytherin, best friends with regulus
barty crouch jr. - pureblood ravenclaw, disappointment to his father for not making it into slytherin
dorcas meadows - half-blood ravenclaw, skilled duelist due to being tutored by severus in her second year
pandora clément(lovegood) - pureblood ravenclaw, was tutored in potions by severus
1st years (who basically become severus's adopted children):
michael richards ( original character ) - muggleborn hufflepuff, a newly turned werewolf who lives in cokeworth, bitten a month after he gets his hogwarts letter
sybil trelawney - half-blood ravenclaw, seer (i know that she's probably older or closer in age with severus, but i liked the image of a fiesty 11 year old girl telling off a 15 year old severus because she's a seer and knows when he's lying lol)
other prominent characters:
petunia evans - muggle, because i think that her character is far too complex to be left at 'muggle sister who hates magic'
gavin richards ( original character )- muggle, brother to michael, potential love interest for petunia
albus dumbledore - being the manipulative cunt that he is
voldemort - also being an A class manipulative cunt
alastor moody - head auror, part of the order
caradoc dearbone - master potioneer, vampire, part of the order
the marauders - i honestly didn't even want them in the story, but they're necessary for the later years that they join the order and their time at hogwarts after severus's awakening
lily evans - becuase i need a good angsty scene where severus and her have a heart to heart and he decides to end their friendship for the good of both of them
BASICALLY, all that razzle dazzle was for me to just ask the question of whether or not i'm doing too much with the story or whether or not the storylines don't match up or if it's confusing or if you'd read it? I just need some thoughts and opinions if you don't mind!
***************************
My response:
All of this sounds amazing @montrasity! I don’t think you’re doing too much, and even then; the work you’re putting into what I’m sure will turn out to be an incredible fanfic is extremely admirable. I think the storylines match up, and I’m very excited to see/read about the characters you’ve mentioned. I really enjoy the idea of Severus being an obscurial and I’m glad you will be including that in your fanfic. I think it’s worth mentioning that @ottogatto made an excellent post about the theory and providing the evidence for it: Here.
If you have any more questions, feel free to ask! And could you please inform me when you publish this fanfic? I’d really, really love to read it. Thank you very much for the submission, have a lovely day!
[Also, I apologise if I did something wrong, I’m still getting used to submissions. 😅]

Whitechapel series 3 press pack
WHITECHAPEL GOES TO SERIES
6x1 hour 3x2 part stories
Whitechapel, written by Ben Court and Caroline Ip, is produced by Carnival Films for ITV 1 and stars Rupert Penry-Jones, Phil Davis and Steve Pemberton.  Other cast members include Ben Bishop, Claire Rushbrook, Sam Stockman and new team member Hannah Walters who plays DC Megan Riley.
Producer, David Boulter (He Kills Coppers) says; "Whitechapel is back, bigger and bolder than before.  Gruesome present day investigations summon the ghosts of the past, screaming and restless.  Chandler’s team must decipher their historic relevance, but history can be unreliable: convincing and confusing in equal measure. These new Whitechapel stories are dark, compelling and full of surprises."
Chandler and his new unit are still based in Whitechapel nick but as before feel slightly removed from the prosaic and mundane day to day, run of the mill policing.  They have rescued a huge crime archive, a vast but chaotic collection of files and papers beneath the incident room.  Buchan begins eagerly sorting this treasure trove of primary sources.  When a new case lands on the team’s desk and the race is on to find the killer, Miles is cynical about Buchan’s value to the team, but Chandler is convinced that history holds clues.  This is where the nightmares of the past help solve the horrors of the present.
Whitechapel remains a dark and scary place, laden with villainy and foreboding.  The series will take us through three hundred years of history, peeling back the layers of the East End.  There will be Gothic shadows, cobblestones and ancient hostelries, fear in the Huguenot weaving houses of Wilkes Street, and terrifying discoveries in the dark corners and rooftops around Brick Lane. With tinges of black comedy the series is heady, visceral and terrifying.  In Whitechapel, history isn’t dead, it’s deadly.
Executive Producer, Sally Woodward Gentle says: “I am delighted we are getting the chance to tell brand new Whitechapel stories but this time as a series.  The East End of London is steeped in history, secrets and gore and we now have the opportunity to take Chandler, Miles and Buchan to places darker still.  If you thought the Ripper and Krays were scary, just wait.”
Laura Mackie, Director of Drama, ITV says: “Whitechapel is a striking and distinctive crime drama that has struck a real chord with the ITV 1 audience. The longer run will allow us to tell an even richer range of stories from the Whitechapel area”

Drue Wilkes Intro
★ BIRTH DATE / 21 February, 1960 (bro this is my third pisces i am going out of my fucking mind) ★ BLOOD STATUS / Pureblood ★ PRONOUNS & IDENTITY / she/her; cis female ★ FACECLAIM / Reina Hardesty
ACADEMICS & ROOMING
★ PRIMARY SCHOOL / Cornwall County Day School, 1978 ★ ACADEMIC PURSUITS / Social Studies degree, History of Magic cohort ★ HOUSE & YEAR / Slytherin, 2nd Year
TW: mentions of murder, suicide, and gaslighting
POINTS OF INTEREST
★ The Wilkes, unlike most of the families listed as the Sacred 28, did not have much in means of monetary value to fall back and survive on. They were forced to become working class people, after the failure of yet another business idea of Rupert Wilkes. When two children came along, Devin and Drue, it only complicated things further. Thankfully, Lindsey Wilkes was able to salvage a hair dresser’s business in Diagon Alley, with a small flat above. It was much too stuffy for four people and while the adults complained and huffed, it was nothing but normal to their two children. Eventually, they were able to afford another business, just next door. They even had the opportunity to join the two flats above.
★ Owning the Junk Store, which worked like a wizard’s pawn shop, introduced the Wilkes to many opportunities they thought they’d never have. Most of the objects that came through their shop were faulty and Mr. Wilkes would spend hours trying to fix them -- success was 40/60. One day, something came through their shop he couldn’t pass up. A time turner. Months were spent, casting charms and spells to make it function good as new. And what do you know? Rupert Wilkes mended it. It became their family’s sole, greatest possession. The only thing of value to the Wilkes name.
★ Of course, having that much power would eventually lead to some trouble. In 1975, after Rupert refused to turn back time to save the family’s dying pet, Devin took it upon herself to steal the time turner. Fifteen year old Drue was woken from a dead sleep, to the sounds of screams. She always thought in a moment like so, she’d freeze up. But no, Drue ran on to her parent’s bedroom, and found her older sister standing over their limp bodies. Devin said only two words murder, suicide. Her life was now built upon this lie, because her sister refused to go back in time now and had much graver plans.
★ Devin never hid a single murder she committed from her younger sister. Family breakfast became confessional. Gory detail after gory detail, Drue knew if her sister did not slow down soon, she would be caught. Or become notoriously known. Either way, having the advantage of being two places at once seemed to lessen her chances of ever being arrested. But without Drue’s own sharp perception, she does not trust Devin’s sloppy ways and has vowed to assist her sister in her crimes. Drue’s become her own personal bait to lure in victims and participates in crime scene clean up. Now, in 1980, Devin has committed seven murders in the last four years. She believes spacing them out will draw away attention. Drue sincerely hopes so.
Extra HC Shit
She & her sister, Devin, claim their mum was a huge advocate for peace and muggleborns. They’ve even inspired people to start a foundation named after Lindsey Wilkes (who was allegedly murdered at the hands of her husband), which encourages blood unity through muggle sports such as tennis, bowling, and roller blading. They do not care if their pureblood allies believe them to be blood traitors. The end game is much more important -- you must be friends with your enemies.
Has never been too affected by the death of her parents, tbh? And though she lives this uncomfortable paycheck-to-paycheck life, she blames them for all of Devin’s disadvantages in life.
Works part-time at Junk Shop and the hairdressers called Hair Dahlia. There was no large inheritance when her parents died. They were left with more debt than anything and both had to continue working. Devin did not attend Hogwarts and Drue only got in on a scholarship for academics.
Working at the Junk Shop has turned her into a total COLLECTOR OOPS! But, she just collects the cool stuff that looks “artsy”. More so for aesthetic than function. Her dream of all dreams is to open some sort of art history museum in the wizarding world. Of course, the funds make it almost impossible to. She is majoring in History because of this, however. Might as well become rich in knowledge if you can’t with money, right?
Is a large participant in JWL and has never felt the need to exactly prove herself because of her lack of money. She feels her ideas and informative opinions are enough to carry her through. Maybe she’ll be so lucky to become President next year, with a little elbow grease.
Devin, her older sister is 100% a Death Eater. Drue’s in the process of being recruited. Which, she more than accepts. Their message is something she agrees with. Although, she wouldn’t be so messy about it -- it’s why she’s going to join. To reform the Death Eaters and keep her sister out of any crossfire.
Also speaks Japanese, is learning Latin, and is a fan of haiku, unironically.

Secrets We Keep Chapter 9 A Car Accident
Tumblr media
It all seemed to happen in slow motion. The sickening roller coaster movement. The sound of breaking glass, and crunching metal, the seatbelt tightening across her seconds before the airbag deploys. And then nothing. Just blackness.
"A two vehicle crash. Unconcious female in one car. A dazed teenage driver in the second." Dispach reports as Jamie and the others head out. Jamie in the truck that contains the extraction equipment. It sounds like it may be needed for the female patient.
"She has remained unconscious. But her breathing seems stable." The emt, amoung the first, first responders, reports. Jamie, a fireman paramedic, nods. He is mentally cataloging what may be wrong. Concusion, a spinal injury serere whiplash. All possibilities go through his mind as he approachs the crumbled vehicle and the unconscious woman. Angus and Stephen, also paramedics , are with him.
She lays with here head turned away from them. The airbag covers must of her face. But, that hair. That curly wig he had spent a good part of the weekend tugging on, is still verra recognisable. Oh sweet Mary, it is Healer!
"Vitals are stable." Agnus reports. He is unaware what his mate is going through. He is steadily assessing the patient. "We will need to cut the airbag away. Hey Jamie, are ye with us lad?"
"Aye sorry. Yes. Neck brace. Before we move what is supporting her, let's secure her neck."
"On it." Stephen runs off to get it. Angus to get the airbag cutter. He is temporarily alone with her.
"I am here lass. Tis Fire. I've ye. Ye are naught alone." He strokes the part of her face he can reach. Her breathing evens out some under his touch.
Noises slowly return. Sirens. Murmured voices. A saw. She tries to catalog them. To make them make sense. But her brain is to fuzzy. She drifts back off.
"On three." Jamie says. He has secured her neck. Angus and Stephen prepare to move the air bag. "One. Two. Three." They lift it off and away and he holds her in place. He continues to as they cut the seatbelt off of her. He holds her straight as they slip a back board behind her.
Hands. Known hands. They hold her face and neck. Words. Soothing words spoke over her. But not English words. Not English but familiar just the same.
"Gentle. We dinna ken if her back be injured."
"We ken this Jamie."
He knows they do. But, it is her. So he tells them anyway.
Fire! His sub name drifts up and then out of her barely parted lips.
"She said something." Angus reports.
"Fire." This time they all hear it.
"Nae lass. No fire. But we are getting ye out." From Stephen. Only Jamie kens she is calling his name
"Lay yer head lass. I've ye." He whispers into her ear as they gently transfer her into the ambulance. "I am riding with her." He tells the others. The shrug. It is okay with them.
He inserts an IV., retakes her vitals, hooks up a heart moniter, and applies an oxygen mask. Same as he would for any patient. He also finds her drivers license.
"Claire Elizabeth Beauchamp, age 27, pulse 55, bp 140/60 temp 99 pulse ox 89 on room air 100 on oxygen." He reports to hospital. "Involved in a MVA. Unconscious at the scene, seat belt on, air bag deployed. Has not fully returned to consciousness. We are 10 minutes out."
He turns back to her. "Hey Healer. Hey Claire. Wake up please. Wake up and fuss at me for ken' yer name "
"Fire?" It is a mere whisper but music to his ears.
"Aye Claire."
"Shit!" He laughs. She is there. Healer. "How bad?"
"You were unconscious for a bit. Scared me. Your left wrist is probably fractured. The airbag gave ye two black eyes. We haven't done a full neck and back assessment."
"Paramedic?"
"Aye and fireman."
"Ahhh. Sleepy." Her eyes drift back shut.
"Hey, do ye want to ken my name. Wake up Claire. Please." But they are at the hospital. He and Rupert, who had drove, wheel her quickly into the back of casualty and to a waiting medical team. He gives his report. Including the brief return to consciousness.
"Thank ye. We have her. Nurse Beauchamp is in good hands."
"She is a nurse?"
"Aye. At this hospital."
"I will wait. To make sure she is okay."
"Suit yerself."
"Claire!" He jerks around at the sound of the cry. A lass with chestnut curles runs toward the gurney. "What happened?"
"MVA. Loss of consciousness. Gellis, do you want involved.?"
"Of course I bloody do!"
"Can ye be objective?"
"Aye. Where do ye need me?" The door closes and Jamie slumps against the wall.
"Ready to go?" Rupert comes up and asks.
"Nae. She is a nurse. Here. I wanna wait and see if she is okay. Ye can return to the scene. Help the lads with..whatever."
"Jamie, are ye okay?"
"Aye just..she is one of us. I just wanna see her safe."
"Aye. Okay I will be off then." He barely hears him. An undetermined time later..
Gellis walks out. Jamie hurries over to her. "Is she okay?"
"And ye are?"
"Sorry Jamie Fraser. One of the paramedics that brought her in."
"Ahhh okay. She has a bad concussion. She will be admitted overnight for observation. Her left wrist is fractured. She is a mass of bruises. But it could have been much worse."
"Aye. The seatbag and airbag both did their jobs."
"Thank the saints."
"Can I see her?"
"Sure. She is a bit loopy."
"It is okay." She watches him walk away thinking,
"There is more to that story."
Her left wrist is in a cast. Her right has an IV. Her eyes are almost swollen shut. She is unbearably beautiful. He takes a seat and takes her right hand. "Hey Healer. Seems that is my role tonight."
She cracks one swollen eye open and winces. "Fire. I thought I dreamed you."
"Nae such luck. I am right here Claire."
"A paramedic fireman."
"Aye Nurse Beauchamp."
"Well, I guess we know now. Naught to do about it."
"Ye dinna ken my name." She frowns and whinces again. "Do ye wish to?"
"Yes. Tell me."
"Tis Jamie. Jamie Fraser."
"Jamie. Do you still wear your ankle chain?"
"Aye. Do you still have the key?"
"Oh Christ. I don't know." Her frantic hand moves up to her neck. She finds bare skin.
"I have it. I rescued it before they took ye back. To spare the questions, ye ken."
"Oh. Thank you Jamie."
"Ye are welcome Claire."
"You know after we return , when I get out, we return to Healer and Fire."
"I do. I am yer sub here to Claire. Just calling ye Healer may raise questions. I wilk stay, if ye wish."
"Please do. Thank you Jamie."
"Ye are welcome Claire."

Rupert 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝑺𝒊𝒓𝒊𝒖𝒔.
Come sperava, dopotutto. O meglio, a Rupert faceva piacere pensarla così. « Oh, scusa! Proprio non volevo, è stato involontario. »
