… I had a realization.
For years,
Tumblr media
and I mean actual years, across multiple different appearances,
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Antisepticeye has broken the fourth wall on us. Claiming that he's shattered the veil between his own world and ours, claiming that he's bridged the gap between fiction and reality.
Up until recently? It's always been him coming through to our side of things.
But in this moment, at the end of the IRIS video?…
Tumblr media
… he pulled us through to HIS side. Quite literally, straight through the camera from which we were watching.
There's a strange and exciting turn of the tables in this situation, especially with the whole IRIS setting wanting to test the limits of the possible. Lots to be explored in this universe, and we've just scratched the surface.

You know, we’ve been assuming that Emelie and Amelie were twins.
I’m sure there is canon out there with the specific details of making it all work that we just don’t have yet.
What we do know is Emelie went to Tibet... maybe then finding one or both of the Peacock and Butterfly Miraculous and probably also the Grimoire at that time.  We just don’t know yet how long ago she traveled.
However, if Adrien was a baby before her travel and he is a Senti, that would imply she only found the Butterfly Miraculous and perhaps also the Grimoire at the later stage.
In that case, what are the odds that she got the Peacock Miraculous from her parents?
What are they odds that they used it as well to make their twin daughters?

Breaking news! Vicky Vale leaks footage of Brucie Wayne following the new teenage rogue 'Phantom' around the city saying "Please let me adopt you 😭"
Phantom refuses and saying he's a supervillian not a lost puppy.
Turns out this was a part of Bruces plan however as Phantom now sees people all over tv talking about him and the Waynes and already considering him a new member of the family. They're even asking when there will be a face reveal. There was a reason he was wearing a mask! He. Is.. A. Villian. What about that do these people not get?!
Sure he doesn't kill people. Or hurt people at all really. Or steal from small family owned businesses. Or...yeah ok. Just because you're a bad guy doesn't mean you have to be a bad guy, ya know? Apparently Gotham doesn't.
Cause they insist hes just a very confused hero

maybe not. and yet,
Tumblr media
from may last year — “jonathan groff as… no! really? but. whaaat?!?”… i don’t think they could make it any more obvious
Tumblr media
in conclusion, recast groff!jack truthers are winning. hope the theory won’t flop and i’ll reblog this in may with an apollo’s dodgeball

DC Comics Incorrect Quotes Pt 244
Rose: You really have a mortal enemy?
Jason: In fact, I have sixty one of them. Would you like to see the list?
Harvey: Oh say no, say no, say no.
Jason: You just got off the list, would you like back on it?

My thoughts on the best strategies to preserve human knowledge and creation in perpetuity
1) don't put all your eggs in one basket
archives need to be paper and digital, public and private sector, centralised and decentralised, fully legal / by the book and rogue, in vaults and cabinets and servers and torrents
create as many redundancies as you can: make copies, and copies of the copies, and copies of the copies of the copies, ad nauseam; anyone anywhere who can make copies, should
spread the physical hubs (paper stacks or servers) geographically, in as many places as possible; you never know what kind of natural disaster or man-made horror will take out a whole building, city, region, or continent tomorrow
2) entropy is a bitch, think longterm
pick methods that are more likely to last
schedule regular copying: you gotta transfer the stuff to a new medium before the old one falls apart, so have some idea when it's expected to fall apart
3) keep converting to new formats
no format becomes obsolete instantly, there's always a transition period; use transition periods to furiously convert everything
4) indexing and searching is as important as the content itself
self-explanatory
5) eyes on the prize: the end goal is public access
if a random nobody, with no status and no money, can't access it easily, freely, and anonymously, the job is only half-done; you've built the back-end and neglected the front-end; get someone to complete it ASAP, because now it's just sitting pretty and isn't doing anything; or isn't doing enough, in any case
bonus: use. fucking. torrents.
It is truly bonkers that the bittorrent protocol is not being used for archiving. It's an ideal method for digital archiving and it should be standard procedure. If a university has stuff on a hard disk, it can put it on its server, and if it can put it on a server, it can torrent it and seed it 24/7. If the same archive is useful for another university on the other side of the planet, that one can download it and then stay in the swarm, also seeding it. If a library or city council anywhere on earth finds the archive of interest, it can do the same. The more the merrier, every download is a potential redundancy and every seeder is an actual redundancy.
If you got space to store it, you got space to share it. And of course, any private individual can at any time join the swarm. So we get excellent preservation (with multiple redundancies, spread far and wide geographically) AND public access, global and free, which is what preservation is FOR in the first place! It ain't for the heck of it, it ain't only for the eyes of the elite, it's for everyone, that's the purpose, that's the end goal. If that's not your end goal, you're doing it wrong.

Me, trying to exist after episode 5*
My hyper-fixation brain: So if we take into account that Gambit has Omega potential in the comics, but he lets Sinister lobotomise them to prevent foretold doom, and we pair that with another thing from the comics, in which Gambit manages to use his powers to set up barriers that allow Rogue to touch him..
(Yes I am gleefully assuming my boy WILL return, my cards are on Sinister/Death theory because why else was he suddenly a giant skeleton in Xavier’s vision)
Anyhoo What if, what if, after the dust settles, and Gambit is back, and he can use his powers to now safely touch Rogue, the warning comes that *he can’t keep it*?? That he has to be powered down to avoid innocent deaths?
He’ll give it up in the end, of course he will, but oh how he’ll rage first.
And if at that point Rogue gently tells him it’ll be allright, that they’re deeper than skin? I will become a puddle and I shall never needing a bucket to keep myself in.
So anyway I am very normal about this show why do you ask?

I’m playing the lonely card, yeah, I’m just timid. Pretending to be adamant, it’s just a facade, you know. “Oh, so bashful!” you tease me with a smile. But I’m warning you, you’d better be on your guard ⚡️

Bodhi: You slept with Cassian?
Jyn: I didn't know what else to do! He had those big, sad eyes. I couldn't help it.
Bodhi: ...sure, sounds like you had no other choice.

ALTRverse, the Multiverse, and the Jacksepticeye Cinematic Universe
Tumblr media
Hey. This little theory is about exactly what it says in the title; the "Jacksepticeye Cinematic Universe", the universe(s) the comics will take place in, and the concurrent multiverse as a whole.
I'll do my best to explain my thoughts below the cut. :)
What if, despite a lot of things being called canon and not canon these days, we made a theory that wraps all those things together?
And what if I told you it's all possible because of IRIS?
IRIS is short for "Inspiring Research of Impossible Sciences". They push the limits of what's possible by any means available to them, and according to themselves, they've actually succeeded in doing that.
But… what does IRIS have to do with the story, aside from being a corporate entity within it?…
Remember that time they tweeted about the multiverse?
Tumblr media
What if there actually is a multiverse in play here? And what if… even our universe is part of it?
Hear me out:
My concept here is that IRIS is a multiversal constant. Meaning, wherever you go, in whatever JSE canon universe there is, IRIS is there somewhere.
We've actually had basis to believe this given to us. The fact that IRIS has a Twitter account in general means they're "in" our universe. They also exist in the same universe as Chase Brody. And, as seen in Void Silver issue #0, Marvin also recognizes the IRIS signature.
Tumblr media
So, if IRIS really is a multiversal constant, what does that really mean?
It could very well mean that, in every single universe IRIS is present in, there is also an Anti or an equivalent of him.
Here's an example of what I mean:
2016-2017 Antisepticeye as we saw him on the JSE channel and ALTR-114209 are very, VERY different from each other. Sure, they may both make technology malfunction in their presence and be generally ill-meaning, but aside from their somewhat-similar appearances and motives, they have almost nothing in common.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now, back in the day, we would've theorized that the in-universe explanation for this change would've been that the "Anti" we see and the "Anti" Chase Brody would've seen are the same entity, presenting himself based on his different victims' fears.
What I'm proposing is that, despite both of them being "Anti" in essence, they are two different universes' versions of one character. They are equivalent, but not exactly the same; "Antisepticeye" is our universe's Anti, which is why we've seen the most of him– and ALTR-114209 is another universe's.
(Of course, the out-of-universe explanations for the changes to the character can be chalked up to time– Anti has evolved over the years to be applicable to various situations on the channel, after all. I'm just suggesting explanations for in-universe events here.)
As with Anti, however, all the egos and even IRIS itself can have an equivalent in the other universes. KJSE Henrik, Mayhem Henrik, and Henrik as we saw him in You're Not Ready For These Scary Games could be three variants of the same character. Chase Brody as we saw him in Bro Average and as we saw him in Anomaly Found could be two variants of the same character. Heck, C!Jack could be a variant of Chase or even someone else– just because Seán declared him "non-canon" to the IRIS storyline doesn't mean he can't be canon somewhere else!
Dear ego artists and writers, does this concept sound at all familiar to you? Because it should.
It's pretty much the basis of every ego AU ever made by a fan.
And, well… in the extended multiverse of JSE lore, who's to say what is and isn't "canon" in its own right? Something canon to the story Seán is telling doesn't necessarily have to be incorporated into an AU. Similarly, Seán doesn't have to incorporate fan-made AUs or headcanons into the actual canon.
But it's something we kinda do anyway, because of the way we feed off of inspiration from each other, isn't it? Kinda cool when you think about it that way. :)
As for the future of the IRIS storyline and ALTRverse, though, my prediction is that we're going to see things harken back to events in the past (although those events may be altered for the sake of the setting), while making our way toward the actual canon story. I can't imagine a better way to wrap it all up in a nice little bow.
But, anyway… that's just a theory. ;)
If you read this far, thank you so much! I put a lot of thought into this one, so hopefully it makes some sense. Have a great one! :D

okay my new conspiracy theory for "what the fuck is up with the rat grinders" is that they are specifically using the devil's nectar to forget what they actually did at the end of last year that led to Lucy's death (I think that part was heavily implied) and to make themselves think that they have just been out killing rats and spiders and twig-gremlins.
why did they drop the "high-5 heroes" moniker and embrace "the rat grinders"? what if they were actually up to something much bigger out there the whole time, but they just want everyone (and also themselves) to think that they were just xp-farming in the woods?

So Callowmoores am I alone in thinking it was cute that Fearne helped carry Ashton to the city? Like there's the parallel also with Ashton carrying her into the Bloody Bridge as well
#might just be that the callowmoore tag isn't showing everything it's just I didn't see it get brought up by anyone#Ashley/Fearne was well into Ash's Titan stuff too#2 points of exhaustion though is indeed rough can see why Fearne didn't wanna test everything at Mori's#Ash probably overdid it because they've been charmed/lured twice now and want to contribute positively#plus they couldn't tell Imogen to push themselves if they don't do the same#they're trying just like they promised and it needs to be shown encouragement and appreciation for it#Grog on the moon theory is at a crossroads next ep#still candela next so I gotta ration these crumbs; ironically this parallel will also carry me to the next episode#though I'd always be open to a big ol' slice of the shippy cake when time appropriate#Fearne could test her new rogue skills to mage hand pickpocket Ashton maybe? or just anything sweet and tender between them#or more sticking up for one another and endorsing each other's chaos I just need to be fed#also the New Mutants character Tal is thinking of is called Warlock btw - looks like FCG if he wore The Mask#Ashley hinted at possible 'talking and then bed' not to (totally to) insinuate#Dire Wolves also have high perception and adv on attack rolls if an ally is 5m from a creature so Fearne was thinking tactically too#maybe I talk too much on tags...#callowmoore#tag reader bonus: Fearne loves it when Ashton kisses the back of her neck - she got a tattoo of their name there to surprise them#fearne calloway#ashton greymoore#fearne x ashton#ashton x fearne#critical role#cr3#cr3e86#cr spoilers#critical role spoilers#rockwild#bells hells

One thing that I've been thinking about for a long time is the very existence of the Angel and the Devil (or the q!Rubiuses, for reference.) Because everything else on the island is so clinical. It's quite literally and canonically an experiment, just watch back the egg adoption vods and the announcement video calls it such. But then there's the Angel, or Lil' J, and there's the Devil, or Satan, who are both explicitly supernatural in nature. The Angel's dad is God. The Devil's dad is... Super Satan or something idk, point is they're both supernatural.
And the Federation hates them.
Cucurucho and the Angel do not get along. They are literally and completely at odds with each other.
But then we have them working together at the funeral to give the parents a couple final moments with their kids.
And now we have the books Baghera found tonight referencing both God and "the angel". It's God's work, whatever "it" is, but maybe "it" is the world. Maybe God, Lil' J's dad, created Quesadilla Island. The Host, or the guy running the Host because "The Host" probably refers to a program of some sort. A host is a computer network, and we've all seen the huge network of islands on El Quackity's canon launcher screen.
The Angel and the Devil aren't supernatural. They're workers, maybe, but the Devil notably is NOT supposed to be on the server. Just the Angel is. So the Devil might be a rogue researcher or something, fuck if I know, the Rubiuses' lore is like. Barely anything rn. But it'll be more soon because Rubius is coming back in one way or another, whether it's as the Angel and the Devil or as the 'human' (read: furry) version of himself he mentioned way back during r/place last month.
