executive dysfunction is legitimately physically uncomfortable. i’ll be trapped between two things, weirdly caught on how-much-time-it-might-take-me. i take hours worried im going to take hours doing things. i’ll sit on the floor for the entire day, caught up in the middle of not-doing the chores i actually do want to be doing.
& the amount of mental energy that goes into it. & the legitimate amount of anger and discomfort and self-hate. is not “being lazy”. it’d be a lot less work if i didn’t have to fight myself to just get up and do it.
i just need you to understand it’s not effortless. it’s never effortless. it’s not “okay let me just get up and finally start doing this.” it’s more like. i am slamming my foot on the pedal but the car is in neutral and nothing is moving. it’s more like shouting instructions into a dying telephone. it’s more like being trapped in a small electric box, and someone who hates me is administering shocks.
im trying. im trying. please help me get up.

HooHee Block Game TAKES OVER YOUR ENTIRE F*CKING DASHBOARD.#any smp tag is auto-blocked by me because i literally could not care less about them#in fact i think it's overbearing and kinda stupid of people to attach so hard to. real people. like That#like yeah i get characters are One Thing but. real people is where i draw the line#and you can argue with me all you want about 'oh but this guy is the character not the content creator!!1!'#the fact that. you need to SPECIFY. is alarming to me#scrolling on my tumblr dash is seeing 9/10 posts get filtered because it's minecraft#or related to some smp or whatever#but i don't want to break years-long mutualships because they're my friends. so i deal with not seeing most of my dash#anyway back to my beef with the actual game#i don't care how much you mod it#i just cannot see the appeal#people get WAY too into it#and yes i will die on this hill 😌#anyway. sorry isa

Oh! Oh, I have the artbook for this movie!!
Can confirm, Jarnathan (the aarakocra, or "birdman" as some people here call him) was all practical effects! His face was an animatronic mask, his feet were articulated high-heel shoes, and he had three fully-functional talon-like fingers on each hand too!
The directors Daley and Goldstein could have made him entirely CG, but they instead went to Legacy Effects, who specialize in prosthetics and animatronics and puppeteering, because they REALLY wanted Jarnathan to look and feel authentic.
According to the artbook, the wings on him were a backpack, a self-contained mechanism that weighed around 60 pounds. The wings extended open to about ten or eleven feet!

Never forget that Caesar saying "et tu, Brute?" was loosely translated by Shakespeare from the Greek phrase "kai su, teknon", (which literally translates to English as "you too, child").
Never forget that the phrase "kai su" has also been found on curse tablets (and a famous mosaic), and that it's highly debated how Caesar might have been using it.
Never forget that, rather than saying a poetic phrase to Brutus (a man Caesar had seen like a son) about how he might find a similar fate someday as he was stabbed,
he could very well have instead been saying something closer to "see you in hell, punk."
