Snapetober Day 17 - Apple
Loosely referencing previous snippets - a tradition of apple harvesting, and my own headcanon that Severus is a wonderful cook and baker.
Minerva had dropped by unexpectantly, a matter of paperwork which had rapidly transformed into idle chatter. She was still here when Severus knocked on the door for their traditional Saturday game of chess: not that it was unusual for her to join them, but she had originally planned an afternoon of marking.
"Ah, Severus, please come in", Albus said warmly, gesturing towards his usual seat.
It was a gorgeous afternoon in June, and the window, beside his desk, was wide open. Outside Fawkes was flying happily, using the light breeze to carry himself for a while, then flying back to an acceptable height and repeating the process. Severus closed the door behind him. He was carrying something with his left hand - Minerva raised an eyebrow.
"What do you have here, my boy?" the headmaster asked, half-rising to clear some space on his desk.
It proved to be difficult: many parchment scrolls fell on the floor, and only Minerva's quick reflexes avoided a catastrophe of spilt ink.
"You know tidying up is an option, right, Albus?" she asked, getting up to put a set of quills away.
"Don't bother, Minerva," Severus replied drily. "Such activity is apparently beyond the headmaster's capabilities."
He put down his burden onto the desk. It looked like a tart mould covered with a white cloth.
"This smells divine", Albus said, purposely changing the subject. "Did you bake for us, Severus?"
Minerva rolled her eyes and cleared the reminder of the desk with her wand.
"An apple pie. There were some fruits left in the cellars - I needed a break from the dunderheads' exams. You would not believe the number of spelling mistakes this year…"
"Why do you think I am here?" Minerva interrupted jokingly.
Gently, Albus put away the cloth, revealing a beautiful, golden pie. It was elegantly ornated with braids of puff pastry, and both Gryffindors could not help but exclaim in admiration.
"Severus! You must really cook for us more often. You know how much I love your cuisine - your apple pies are a particular favourite of mine."
"You do not pay me nearly enough for me to cook on top of teaching, Albus", the younger man replied ironically, but Minerva discerned a slight blush on his cheeks.
She smiled, taking her eyes off him before he would notice her.
"And why were you in the cellars?" she asked, summoning three plates, a knife and a pie server.
"I was attempting to finish my lunch without the house elves pestering me."
"Do not be so hard on them, Severus. They are merely happy to see you eat."
The headmaster set out to cut the pie, and Minerva watched as their younger colleague made no reply. Albus, clearly, was completely oblivious to Severus' obvious lie.
The man rarely baked, and when he did, it was always when prompted to by Albus - he brewed to clear his mind, he did not cook.
She whispered her thanks when the headmaster handed her a plate with a neatly cut slice of pie and lifted her cup of tea to her lips. From the corner of her eye, she watched as Severus glanced rapidly at the headmaster, an almost imperceptible look of contentment gracing his face when the old man let out another expression of delight.
The pie was, indeed, delicious.
Sitting back in her chair comfortably, she gazed at Fawkes who was flying once more towards the sun, purposely breaking a formation of wild geese in the process. Would Albus think this was perfectly innocent?
Sometimes, too, her eyes drifted to the calendar pinned to the wall next to the window and she smiled quietly to herself - it was Father's Day.

Dumbledore: Minerva has started to date random people...again.
Flitwick: On a scale of 1 to 10, what level of problem is the current one?
Dumbledore: The sic-Severus-on-them level
Flitwick: Damn! Where in Severus's scale does it stand?
Dumbledore: Between Severus use your master spy skills to track their every move and Severus bloody murder the damn bastard and harvest your potion ingredients from their remains. Tending greatly towards the latter.
Flitwick:
Dumbledore:
Snape: You do realize that this will be the 47th one? The last one hasn't even decomposed properly. When are you going to wizard up and propose?
Minerva: *appearing suddenly* Propose? To whom?
Dumbledore: Fu-Flitwick!
Severus: Fu-Fudge!
Flitwick: Fu-Fang!

Me: Professor don't-
Severus: Legilimens!
Severus:
Severus: Where did you see that?!
Me: See what?
Severus: Me and Lu- Mr. Malfoy.
Me: SO IT HAPPENED?! IT REALLY HAPPENED?!
Severus: You didn't see anything?
Me: NO!
Severus: THEN WHY WAS IT ON YOUR MIND?!
Me: I WAS JUST IMAGINING IT!
Severus: WHY WOULD YOU IMAGINE THAT?!
Me: Because it's hot.
Severus: You find the image of me having an intercourse with Mr. Malfoy "hot"?
Me: Not when you say "intercourse". But the idea of Lucius Malfoy fucking you like a bitch in heat is very sexy indeed.
Severus: You dirty little- DETENTION!
Me: Anyways. Come on, tell me more about it!

Flufftober day 23 - POV Outsider
Finally, my last submission for @flufftober ! Only a month late! I had a lot of fun with this, I've really missed writing Scorbus. Thank you to @crazybutgood for the amazing beta and sensitivity reading. This got a bit longer, a little over 1k, so I put it under a cut. Featuring "didn't know they were dating" Scorbus and exasperated Lily Luna and James Sirius.
Tumblr media
“So, what do you think?” Albus looks uncharacteristically radiant; Even if he’s got his hands deep into his pockets in his usual introverted way, there’s a light flush on the tops of his cheeks. Lily gives him a warm smile.
“It’s really nice, Al. It’s just how I’d imagine your and Scorpius’ flat to be.”
Albus’ shoulders sag a fraction, and the way he sinks deeper into his worn chintz armchair makes James realise he was really nervous about their opinion. He can’t really say anything more, he’s not that into home decoration, but he adds, “I bet Scorpius was in charge of organising,” just to have something to say.
“Yeah,” Albus sighs wistfully, his eyes going soft. “We’d probably never be finished if he hadn’t.”
“Oh, Teddy sends his love, by the way. He’s really sorry he couldn’t make it,” James says, and Albus gives a tiny nod of acknowledgement.
“Well, at least that makes me feel less like a fifth wheel since I’m the only one who’s not a part of a couple,” Lily says with a laugh, and James pokes her in the ribs out of habit.
“What do you mean?” Albus says, making both James and Lily pause in their tickle fight to stare at him. At least Lily looks as shocked as James feels.
“I mean…” Lily starts tentatively after a few seconds. “James and Teddy. And you and Scorp.”
“What?” Albus snorts. “Scorpius and I aren’t together.”
He chuckles to himself, as if the mere idea of the two of them being a couple would be ridiculous. Lily turns to James, her eyes wide.
“But… you’re living together,” James says stupidly. It’s frankly the only thing he can think of because he feels as if someone just told him that the sky is green.
“Yeah. Because we’re flatmates.” Albus gives him that look, the one like he can’t believe James could be this thick and still have enough brain power to breathe.
“You have one bedroom,” Lily tries, but Albus just rolls his eyes at her.
“So we can have the spare room as a potions lab!”
“This one bedroom only has one bed!” James says, thinking that this must finally shut his brother up and make him see reason.
“We always end up in the same bed, anyway. Might as well save the money and the space.”
James turns to Lily, who looks just as desperately confused as he feels. Albus and Scorpius have been together since the dawn of time, they’re one of the few things James knows he can always count on: the sun sets in the west; we’re all going to die some day; Albus and Scorpius love each other, always have and always will. He hasn’t been wrong all this time, has he?
Neither he nor Lily have any time to think of any new arguments before Scorpius enters the room, carrying a tray with tea and scones.
“Sorry it took me so long,” he says and sets the tray down on the table. “What are you guys talking about?” He plops down across Albus’ lap, slings one arm around Albus’ neck and tucks his other hand inside Albus’ flannel shirt.
“Lily and James think we’re together.”
Scorpius jerks up with an incredulous laugh. “What?! That’s ridiculous!” He keeps giggling while he snuggles in closer to Albus, burying his face in the crook of his neck.
“You are literally cuddling right now!” James starts to feel as if he’s reached the end of his wit. What the fuck is going on? “There is a perfectly nice looking, empty, armchair right beside you, and Scorpius decided to sit on your lap to cuddle!”
“Yeah, but we always do!” Albus says as if James really is unbelievably daft. “We always have!”
“Honestly, these two,” Albus says to Scorpius, while Scorpius giggles in response and melts impossible closer to him.
James turns to Lily again, but she keeps looking at her brother and his supposedly-not-boyfriend, a dangerous glint in her eyes. James knows that glint, over the years he’s learned to fear it, and he’s extremely happy it’s not aimed at him right now.
“Well, boys,” she says in a dangerously sweet voice that makes both Albus and Scorpius stop whatever the hell it is they’re doing and turn their attention to her.
Albus clears his throat awkwardly. “Um, what?”
“Well, if the two of you really aren’t together, I have a friend who’s really interested in Scorpius, and has been for some time now. But, since I’ve always assumed the two of you are together, my answer has always been that he’s taken. But if that’s not the case…”
Albus and Scorpius both freeze; Scorpius' hand is still on Albus’ chest, but it’s perfectly still.
“I’m… I’m not really into girls,” Scorpius mumbles weakly, and James realises this was exactly what Lily was anticipating. She leans forward, a wolfish grin on her face.
“I never said it was a girl.”
Before either Albus or Scorpius manage to activate their one shared brain cell to answer her, James decides to help out. “Yeah, we could find you a date as well, Albus! Teddy has loads of friends. We could make it a triple date!”
“Hey! Don’t leave me out of this, it was my idea to begin with!” Lily swats his arm. “I want to be there when these two idiots realise they don’t want to be with anyone other than each other.”
Albus and Scorpius remain frozen, cuddled together in their armchair, mouths agape and eyes wide. James can practically see their minds working overdrive.
Scorpius is the one to speak first. “But… we’ve shared a bed forever. We’ve never… I’ve never wanted to—”
“Me, neither,” Albus says, his eyes staring blankly before him.
“We haven’t even kissed. I mean, we kiss each other good night, but—”
“That’s been enough. For me, at least.”
“Yeah, me too. But… the thought of someone else being this close to you…” Scorpius trails off, shaking himself as if to try and wake up from a bad dream.
“You know, it could be that the two of you are just really close friends, and that we’ve all misinterpreted your relationship all this time,” Lily starts tentatively, making Albus and Scorpius snap out of their collective trance. “But maybe you should do some research on asexuality, because I have a feeling that could be something that fits you.”
Albus and Scorpius don't answer; they both still look a little shell-shocked.
“Come on, James. I think we need to leave them to process this on their own.”
“Um, thanks for the tour, Al. Scorpius. I’ll, uh… See you!” James says awkwardly, hurrying after his sister and leaving his brother and his maybe-not-now-but-probably-soon boyfriend in their armchair, their hands tightly clasped together and their cheeks flushed.

Okay, so I generally agree with Dumbledore’s grey morality (sending Harry to the Dursley’s was never okay), disagree with his bashing (I hate bashing of any kind; if you dislike a character then write them in a way that shines light on their negative traits but don’t intentionally give them worse ones that are completely different from their actual characterization honestly why are people like this-), and have no particular opinion on most headcanons about things he did that were better or worse than what we actually know because honestly anything’s possible we know next to nothing about this guy’s actual personality, but there is one thing that I have to say I do not and have never agreed with and that is the idea that he knew Sirius Black was innocent.
People have said that the reason he let Sirius be convicted was so he could send Harry to the Dursley’s for the blood protection, but his decision to send Harry to the Dursley’s always seemed as a last resort to me (and this is not defending him or agreeing with those actions in any way, it was fucked up and wrong and we all know it, but I do truly believe that if Sirius was innocent he would have sent Harry to live with him) (and I love Remus to death but there is no way he should be trusted with a small child and we already know that parts of the Order didn’t entirely trust him (INCLUDING SIRIUS) so don’t @ me)
I don’t think that Dumbledore in any way knew before Harry’s third year. There’s no basis that he did, and there’s no basis that he didn’t, but it just does not make sense. And besides, Sirius was perfectly willing to let Harry return to the Dursleys during PoA, and if he believed that it was truly better for him to do so he would have not contacted him on Dumbledore’s orders. Remus very clearly didn’t. So no, I don’t think that Dumbledore simply “let” Sirius be arrested and imprisoned with the full knowledge of his innocence to get rid of a single, easily manipulated variable.
No, I think that’s what Snape did.
Because Snape was in Voldemort’s inner circle, he was one of his most trusted Death Eaters—even up until he died! He would have known if Sirius was a Death Eater. He knew he wasn’t. And he said nothing about it, because he hated Sirius Black.

Obliviate (Chapter 15: A Home Once More)
The next day was both the beginning and end of many things.
Immediately upon entering the Great Hall, Draco’s ears buzzed fresh with the news of the trio’s disappearance. It was one thing to hear it in the privacy of the Houses each, but another thing entirely for them to all mix and gossip together.
“They were normal, that’s what I don’t understand,” insisted Dean Thomas as Draco and Blaise walked past the Gryffindor table.
“No the hell they weren’t,” Weaselette snapped at him. “They’ve been whispering to each other for weeks, faking smiles, making excuses. Hermione especially,” she added on. Draco’s hearing sharpened, and he pretended to stop Blaise to talk to him in an attempt to win him a few more seconds.
“Hermione’s always like that, Gin,” Seamus Finnigan countered.
Weasley’s tone rose in pitch. “Really, Seamus? Has she? Hermione’s just always been slumped and cold as my tits?”
“I like her,” Blaise whispered. Draco flicked the inside of his arm, and pulled the both of them closer towards the shadows of the lined alcoves.
“It doesn’t matter now, does it?” Seamus sneered, his entire expression morphing into disgust. “We were never their friends, no matter what we thought.” He looked around at their group and motioned vaguely with his arm. “Yesterday should have been clear enough. Not a word to us, and the cowards left us to fight by ourselves. To suffer under Snape, alone.” He scoffed and shoved his plate away. “Gryffindors, my arse.” Seamus swung his legs over the bench and stormed out of the hall when he was met with the silence of his table.
Parvati Patil hesitantly spoke up. “You don’t… You don’t think there’s any truth to that, do you, Gin?”
Ginny Weasley straightened her spine to the likeness of a board, her chin held high. “I know there isn’t.”
“But—”
“I know there isn’t, Parv, because Hermione did not spend nearly a month avoiding me, slipping out of the dorms at night, refusing to make future plans with me, and closing herself off from the world— her friends —all because she was running away with my boyfriend and my brother.” Ginny’s voice only got tighter with each word, stiff as her spine and cold as her tits.
Dean placed his hand on the table between them, pity in his eyes. “Maybe that’s exactly why.”
It was this moment that Draco would one day pinpoint back to when asked how the Gryffindors lost Ginny Weasley’s faith.
The last of the Weasel line slapped her hands on the table and stood up. “I’m going to find McGonagall,” she said flatly. “You can sit here on your sad fucking arses.”
“Ginny, wait,” Parvati called after her retreating form, distressed.
Draco couldn’t hear the rest of their conversation on account of Theo jumping on his back and nearly sending him to the ground.
“I can’t believe you socks left without me!” he cried, fastening his arms around Draco’s neck.
Draco grappled at his wrists. “You’re—choking—fucker—I’ll kill—”
“When are you going to realize ‘sock’ isn’t a real insult? And you took too long brushing your teeth,” Blaise commented, standing leisurely as Draco was on the brink of death.
“You still found offense with it when I called you that, though. And my taking that long was not my fault,” Theo defended as Draco shoved him off. He yelped as he was put in a headlock. “The mudblood—ow, Malfoy! —told me all that shit about the cavities and it gave me anxiety—”
“Please, thirty seconds is more than enough,” Blaise said, walking to Slytherin’s table. Draco followed, with Theo hunched over in tow.
“Thirty seconds? Zabini, you odorous bastard, your teeth are going to fall out when—fuck off, Malfoy, I’m sorry —you’re fat and thirty. Do you know the kind of money that you’ll have to put towards procedure after procedure—”
“Have you forgotten we’re wizards? We have magic, we don’t need dentists.”
Theo stilled. “Oh.” He scrunched his face in the forty-five degree angle under Draco’s arm. “What the fuck did she do to me?”
Blaise smiled broadly as he sat down and grabbed a plate. “How sweet. Little swot and bigger swot.”
A collective gasp and enraged shouts from the Gryffindor table had all heads turning. Dean Thomas was screaming at Snape with his arms outstretched.
Snape, who had the tip of his wand digging into Ginny Weasley’s throat.
“Severus!” Professor McGonagall exclaimed, standing up.
He ignored them all. Every student and professor in the Great Hall held their breath. “You,” he snarled, “will watch your tongue, blood traitor.”
But Ginny Weasley remained unwavering. She glared at the man before her—her teacher of so many years. “You call yourself Headmaster—” he jerked her chin up— “but three of your students disappeared under your watch, and you have done nothing to find them.”
“Severus,” McGonagall repeated urgently, taking quick steps toward the pair. The Patil girl held Dean back, motioning for their friends to remain at bay.
Any false step would get the Weaselette killed.
“Was the lockdown simply a day off, Ms. Weasley?” Snape replied monotonously.
“You searched for less than six hours and forgot about it.” Her chest heaved in barely contained rage. “You spent their entire time at this school singling them out. And now you offer no help nor interest in their disappearance, even with all your power.” She spit directly on his face. “I wouldn’t be surprised if you had them killed.”
Theo took in a sharp breath.
Snape closed his eyes as her saliva made a path down his cheek.
And then he opened his mouth—
“Everte Statum!”
The blow from McGonagall’s wand sent the headmaster flying across the hall, far from the throat of Ginny Weasley.
The Gryffindors surged forward and crowded around her, while half of Slytherin began the new round of shouting. Draco, Theo, and Blaise remained frozen in their back corner.
Theo gripped onto Draco’s forearm. “Holyshitholyshitholyshit.”
Minerva McGonagall stood in a half-crouch between the House tables and Severus Snape. “Mark this as the day you betrayed Hogwarts, Severus,” she called fiercely, wand lined to its target. “You may have killed Albus, you may have given in to the Dark, but the moment you raised your wand to harm a student, you have given up the castle.” She took a step forward. “And this castle has given up on you.”
Snape flung a ball of light in McGonagall’s way, who raised a shimmering shield and threw a Confringo. Spell after spell, they seemed to trade back and forth.
Seemed.
Snape blocked most of McGonagall’s spells, to be sure, but he threw back varying forms of ‘magic’ back at the Gryffindor figurehead.
It was when one stream of light among a flurry of others hit McGonagall’s robes before she put up a shield, somehow leaving her unharmed, that Draco understood.
Severus Snape had not thrown a single spell. He was only blocking, and feigning.
Draco couldn’t figure out why.
Almost all students had their wands out by that point, should a jinx fly astray, but then McGonagall flung a Reducto that sent the Great Hall’s glass wall shattering.
Someone in Hufflepuff started crying. A First Year in front of Draco started shaking, too, and he reached forward and put a silent hand on his shoulder, slightly pulling him back towards safety.
Just the way Lucius Malfoy did to Draco and his mother whenever the Dark Lord walked into their manor.
“What’s in her hand?” Blaise whispered.
McGonagall had pulled out something wrapped in white linen, and she used her wand arm to incarcerate and levitate the bloodied Severus Snape to the open night air. She shot him backwards, and in doing so she simultaneously let go of the wrapped object, only pinching the end of the now-empty cloth.
A golden snitch flew out, and made a beeline to Snape’s chest.
And then he twisted into nothing.

Long hair snape!!!
I would absolutely melt and instantly fold for this man LOOK at him he's sexy and he knows it
Also would love to hear your thoughts on this severus joining hogwarts as a professor and his first class is a bunch of 6th/7th years who absolutely swoon for this man-
All the girls think he's so mysterious and handsome and snapes just tired and wants to go home-
Even funnier if all the older students misbehave on purpose just to get detention with this man and he's just so oblivious to it and thinks it's bcs they don't respect him as a teacher and they're mocking him (bonus points if finally minerva is like severus my child they want to fuck you-)
(Apparently he was 21 when he became a professor)
SHUT UP! I totally need to write something about this! I'll start it as soon as I can!
I would also completely fold for this man

Snape & 🪻
Commissioned artwork by @fresiants.
This is my first time painting a young Severus Snape from his student days! I throughly enjoyed creating this piece☺️
I referenced the Herbology Greenhouse from Hogwarts Legacy for the background. The idea of the lovely purple hyacinths was suggested by @fresiants.
Tumblr media
"Few photographs of Snape during his school days have been preserved. In one of the rare old photos that remains, the slender, black-haired young man appears to be oblivious to the camera, focusing intently on a hyacinth during herbology class. The identity of the photographer remains a mystery to this day. ”
Okay, this little backstory is actually something I just concocted🤣
Given the candid-like perspective of this drawing, I decided to add a vintage photo effect. I personally quite like this version!

Being The Daughter of Snape’s Closest Child-Hood Friend And Him Being Your Mentor Would Include:
Tumblr media
Upon your arrival at Hogwarts during your first year, it was clear that Professor Snape was able to recognize you almost instantly. It wasn’t just the fact that you were a splitting image of your mother. Though, you had always been oblivious to your mother’s connection with Snape, he had not been the same to your existence. As the years after their graduation passed, Severus and your mother did well to keep in touch with one another. By no other way than through letters. It is how he knew of both your birth, and your arrival to Hogwarts.
It was almost instantly that Snape knew that he felt some sort of obligation towards you. Not only did he swear to help you excel in your studies by becoming your mentor, but he also swore to protect you from any harm that may come to you.
When first meeting Snape, like many of the other students you could feel his intimidation. Seeing how closed off, and guarded he acted.
Although, this only made you more curious about him.
With your time under his mentorship, you had come to learn that Snape had taken a liking to you. Not only giving you knowledge, but treating with you kindness.
Realizing Snape wasn’t as awful as students proclaimed.
Bonding with him over your shared connection with your mother. Often it’s when he notices you do things that remind him of her. Or, as the both of you are having tea together and he spends hours on end talking about his memories of your mother.
Snape believing you can become greater than you could possibly imagine. “My dear, you have more potential than you can even imagine. I believe that one day you could become of the greatest witches this school as ever seen.”
His words meaning the world to you. “Thank you. I’m just trying to make my mother proud.”
Him telling you, that you are. And he is proud of you too. “She is proud, as am I.”
It was in that moment, you had seen him smile for the first time. A real and genuine smile. And you had then known, how much he truly cared for you.

Imagine Sirius's have a younger sister who finds sister HOT! Like practically drooling over him during every meeting and Severus being unaware because let's face it he can be oblivious to affection. Everyone finds it hilarious but Sirius is one word away from flipping out. -L
L, I know you sent this so long ago but I've been working on it and I FINALLY finished it! Not my best work but at least it's something! And yes I just had to make a little reference to Snupin
Warning: cursing, mentions of sex but nothing too explicit, some brotherly angst from Sirius, glimpse of dom Snape, not proofread
“Close your mouth, you’ll catch flies,” Sirius snarled, teeth bared. “I don’t understand what you see in that treacherous fiend.” His dark eyes flickered yellow as they trailed after the greasy-haired man until he was out of sight.
The Order meeting hadn’t even started yet but hostility was on the rise. It was in the air, present in the guests' little huffs and puffs, and even in the bare bones of the house itself. Interwoven with its rich and equally dark history the Black family manor wasn’t a welcoming place to be. The dimly lit and depressing atmosphere seemed to have a grip on everyone who had the privilege to cautiously open its doors.
“Meetings about to start. You finish up in here and I’ll go on ahead,” you huffed, slamming down the bowl of snacks you’d been preparing and pushing past him in pursuit of the man who had left the room before you, Severus Snape.
Sirius absolutely despised Severus and no amount of sibling love between the two of you could dissipate the anger that only blossomed when they were close. It was odd really, whenever they seemed to catch wind of the other, the two men were immediately at each other's throats. Feral, raw anger pulsed through their veins with a mere glance. In fact, his hatred of the reclusive potions professor with the sharp tongue was so severe that you were convinced he would one day lose it and Avada Kedavra him on the spot. He’d gotten the first part of the spell out of his mouth with the second on the tip of his tongue far too many times than you’d like only to stop short by your pleading. No matter how much the two of you fought, you couldn’t lose your brother to Azkaban again. Not after finding out he was innocent.
Sirius’s feelings about Severus did nothing to dissuade your own. This was one fight among siblings that you were willing to put up with. With his deep voice and mysterious existence you couldn’t help but be drawn to Severus no matter how much your big brother pleaded with you to leave him alone. Severus was terrible news. And as a confirmed death eater, you couldn’t argue with his warnings but you didn’t care. Dumbledore, Molly, and even Remus were convinced of his true motives in taking down the one whom he had once called master and that was enough for you.
Though he sat silently apart from the brief moment when he had to report on what the death eaters were up to, your eyes rarely left his dark-clothed and lithe frame. He didn’t seem to notice though, his eyes stayed trained on whoever was speaking at the moment and his toes never left contact with the floor as if he were bracing himself to sprint out the door at a moment's notice. He always did that, bolted out the door the second the meeting ended, and you’d barely been able to say a word to him much less get him alone.
“Eyes on the prize, eh? You’ve rarely looked elsewhere,” Remus chuckled, nudging your arm. Since he was one of Sirius’s best friends, Remus was kind of like an older brother to you and you knew all too well that he thought you having a liking for Severus was hilarious. “You know Severus and I hooked up while in school a few times. I can give you a few pointers.”
“Remus! Stop it! I know you’re lying!”
“Ask him yourself,” he replied smugly. Remus shrugged and with a smirk diverted his attention back to the meeting.
“Quiet down with the chatter,” Sirius commanded, jumping to his feet and pacing around the room. “Now, unless anyone has anything of value left to add, I say this meeting is over. You will all receive details about the next one as soon as it is decided.”
“Catch that mouse before he scrambles away,” Remus chuckled. “Go on now! He will be out that door in no time.”
Sure enough, Severus had his hand on the doorknob by the time you caught up with him. He jolted in place at your sudden appearance next to him.
“May I have a word with you?”
“I must be going the Dark Lord…”
“He is surely aware of your current status at an Order meeting, Severus. A few extra moments will go unnoticed and could help you live up to your reputation.”
“Ah Severus, off so soon?” Sirius asked, sauntering between the both of you and throwing his arm over you. “Not bugging my sister are you?”
“He will be off as soon as I have a word with him… in private.”
“That’s not necessary,” he said moving to the side as Tonks let out a curse when she tripped over the rug on the way out the door. “Let’s move away from this crowded area, shall we?”
“Black, your presence is not required,” Severus warned. “Your sister asked to speak to me and me alone.”
“I think that whatever my sister has to say to you she can also say in my presence. Right, sis?” he hissed.
“Fuck off, Sirius,” you scoffed. “Severus, would you mind stepping upstairs to my room where it’s a bit quieter?”
“Lead the way,” he said, his cheeks turning a profuse shade of red. You thought it was quite cute to see him flustered as you escorted him to your room.
“So,” you started sitting down on the edge of your bed. Severus took the chair, sitting on the edge waiting for the torture of forced socialization to end. “Remus told me…”
“Don’t,” he snapped. “I don’t care what that lunatic said —”
“So you did fuck him, huh?” you giggled, coming to rest on your knees before him. You couldn’t help but smile when he shifted unconsciously closer to you. “How do you fuck Severus? Are you a needy little bitch? Do you whine and beg?”
“I’ll show you just how I fuck,” he hissed, his eyes darkening.
You couldn’t walk for a week after he was done with you and Sirius, having enchanted your room, heard every single thing. He hasn’t spoken to you since but you don’t care all you can think about is Severus fucking you again.
And Severus? He thought the whole thing was splendid and has every intention of fucking you after the next Order meeting. You're his little toy now.

For the many years you knew Sirius, he was always there. He was always lingering nearby, always in the vicinity, and for some reason it was reassuring. Like the time he comforted you after getting yelled at by one of your professors in second year. Or the time he willingly took a trip all the way down to Hogsmeade to buy you treats after your first break up. He was always a shoulder for you to lean on, even when you didn't want him to be. He was your greatest friend. He seemed happy at your revelation, although you were confused when James busted out laughing at your statement. Sirius could only smile, throwing glares at James whenever you looked the other way.
That was nearly two weeks ago. Sirius was no longer there. He was busy, often skipping your invitations to study, or hangout. It was unusual. You no longer felt like Sirius was a presence lingering nearby, you'd seen Severus Snape, more than you saw Sirius in those two weeks. It sucked.
"Can you stop frowning so much?"
Lily inquired as she pushed your feet off the coffee table in the common room, shuffling past you before she ended up plopping down on your side. "No, my best friend won't talk to me." Lily laughed a bit, covering her mouth as she tried her best to present a blank expression on her face, only to fail miserably as a smile spread across her face. "What is it with you people and laughing whenever I call Sirius my 'best friend'?" You pressed with a frustrated look on your face, even going as far as using finger quotes around the word 'best friend'.
"Cause you're an idiot." Lily deadpanned, gently patting your leg as she sighed. You seemed to be the only one out of the loop, confusion seemed to swarm your face whenever your other friends laughed upon calling Sirius your 'best friend', it made no sense. "He likes you." Lily emphasized, a smirk plastered on her face as she took in your expression that practically screamed "impossible" as she laughed. "Stop kidding around Lily, I'm telling you something is seriously wrong with him--no pun intended."
Lily rolled her eyes at your obliviousness, groaning out loud in the silent common room. "You're an absolute idiot, you think he doesn't like you?" You shook your head at her comment, making her scoff as she grabbed your shoulders, shaking you lightly. "He is seriously in love with you--don't," She pointed her finger at you as you began to smirk. "I'm being serious, not Sirius, but serious, he told me himself." You seemed to perk up at her final statement as she grew silent, gazing at you with a look of hope in her eyes.
"Good joke."
Another week passed and you were growing restless at his absence. You were so used to seeing him at breakfast, having him walk with you to class, and ending your night with a simple "goodnight" before you were off to sleep. That was all gone, and you hated it. Why did it bother you so much that your supposed "best friend" was off doing better things, and likely hanging out with better people? You slammed your book shut, startling Remus, Dorcus, and Marlene who were sat in a circle around you, discussing their assignments.
"Guys, I think I like Sirius." You blurted out after a moment, gazing at every single one of their expressions. Not a single person seemed perplexed or surprised even. Marlene laughed, slamming her hand onto the table as she leaned onto it with a weak smile. "Finally, I thought I was gonna lose my bet with James he bet you'd break in four, I said three." You threw an offended glance her way as well as a scoff before Remus gained your attention. "What makes you think that?"
"Well, I was talking to Lily a week ago, and she said he liked me, and I thought 'well isn't that ridiculous' and I really thought about everything he's done for me and I realized just now that I like him, more than a friend." You rambled, making a smile appear on his face. "Then what are you doing? He's in our dorms right now." Remus murmured, lifting a brow slightly as he silently said: "Just go already." And you did, you left everything behind, because if there was anything you learned in your seven years of being at Hogwarts, it was that you were in love with Sirius Black.
It was like a breath of fresh air when you saw him again. He seemed shocked at your presence, awkward even as he sat up in his bed. He had so many questions, and you did too. "I'm gonna go..." James awkwardly coughed out from his bed, gaining the attention of both of you as he ushered his way to the door, throwing a sweet smile your way. It was just the two of you now, and for some reason, you felt like you couldn't look your best friend in the eye after some new found feelings.
"When?"
That was all you asked, making his brows furrow in confusion. "I'm sorry, what?" He spoke softly, unlike his usual loud and boisterous self. "When did you fall...for me." He seemed to recoil at the question, finally standing to his feet as he rubbed his palms on his pants. He was nervous, and you couldn't blame him, cause you were starting to become nervous by his silence. "I'm sorry I shou--Fourth year." He cut you off, finally growing some confidence as he gazed at you, a look that you couldn't quite decipher upon his face.
"I developed a crush on you in our third year, and that day after you caught me crying over--everything in our fourth," He let out a sad laugh, a sincere smile crawling up his face as he walked closer to you. "I fell in love with you." Sirius watched silently as you retraced the memory in your head before you smiled, gazing up at him as you let out a laugh. "I remember...you cried over that argument with James, and your parents constantly being on your tail." Sirius hummed as his hands gently came up to cup your face as he grinned that Sirius Black grin.
"When did you realize?" It was his turn to ask questions, making your cheeks flush in embarrassment as you tried to avoid his stare, except it was impossible when he was practically making you hold eye contact. Damn him. "A couple minutes ago." He laughed, his head tilting back slightly as he scrunched his nose a bit. His laughter made butterflies come to life in your tummy, making you hold your hand on your tummy. "I'm sorry." You mumbled out, making him shake his head reassuringly as he used his thumbs to gently rub your already red cheeks.
"Why are you sorry?" He seemed to be teasing you, his voice growing an octave higher towards the end as he leaned closer. "Because I'm an idiot and Lily was right and our friends were betting on us, which by the way--." You couldn't finish your sentence, not because you didn't want to, but because Sirius Black was kissing you. You were frozen, unable to do anything, you could only close your eyes, finally moving your lips against his before he pulled away, forcing your eyes to open up as you gazed at him silently. "Was that uncalled for?" He asked innocently, tilting his head to the side as he smiled. Bloke.
You released a soft breath as you nodded, "Very uncalled for." He shrugged sweetly as he smiled, a toothy smile. "Can I do that again? That just didn't feel real." He laughed, gazing at you like you were the love of his life. You only rolled your eyes playfully, pulling his head down as you pressed your lips to his. It was sweet, gentle, and contained all the silent love you two held for each other. Once you both pulled away you both looked down to your hands, watching as your pinkies entwined, making the both of you laugh.
"I like you a lot."
"I like you a lot too."

To my snape people. Allow me to present an idea I saw on tiktok.
So what if after the post-prank that was placed on Severus. He was so traumatized that he was sent home early, and after some time, he never had any sleep since he was always waking up due to night terrors and he gets punished for it by his father.
Snape was then eventually kicked out of his home, Severus was on the streets. So after a long thought, he decided to cast obliviate on himself. He erased every memory he had of the bullying, the pain, the abuse, the pranks, and even Lily, but he kept the memories of the good times of Hogwarts and the friends he actually had (Charity Burbage and Aurora Sinistra)
It was like he was a whole new different person. He was calmer, his hair was less greasy, he was happy, and he made new friends in Cokeworth who helped him out with money and everything, and he made potions for them, but never told them what it actually was.
When he came back to Hogwarts and Remus, and surprisingly, James and Lily went to check on him. He didn't remember anything about them and went on with his day.
James, Lily, and Remus were shocked. They tried to get answers, but Charity stopped them and then let it slip that he casted obliviate on himself (on purpose). Lily is now mad, James and Remus are confused.
You guys can figure out the rest because this is all I got.
