You could tell your boyfriend was talking to you but you didn't hear him. Feeling overwhelmed and on the verge of a breakdown you zoned out, attempting to block everything out to avoid a panic attack.
Han instantly knew when you didn't respond that the airport was getting to be too much for you and he quickly fished around in his bag for an extra pair of headphones. He placed them on your head, fixing the hair his headphones displaced, and connected them to his phone, pressing play on the last song he had been listening to.
The sudden music jerks you back to reality and you look up to see Han looking at you with an expectant look. You give him a small smile, telling him he made the right choice with the music. He answered with a smile of his own and placed a small kiss on your forehead before interlocking your hands together.
He made sure to keep music playing the rest of the time you were making your way back to his dorm, keeping your hands firmly locked together to further ground you. You had dozed off most of the ride home so he knew you felt better but he wanted to do everything he could to make sure it didn't come back.

A gentle autumn breeze blew her hair around her face hiding the tears and fell from her eyes. She couldn't scream, her voice seemed stuck in her throat. All she wanted to do right now was cry into his chest while he held her close and rubbed her back. A long day at work had only been compounded by depression and anxiety, feeling like every time she moved her limbs were weighted down.
Depression is an evil ugly monster who can turn even the happiest people into shells of themselves but somehow he always knew what to say and do to cheer her up. Sometimes it was just holding her and letting her cry it out. other times it was his jokes. Once in a while it was watching her favorite TV show just to have something to distract her or listening to her favorite music with her.
When it was music he would hold her close and dance with her, his smell filling her nose and calming her. Sometimes it would lead to him taking her on the kitchen table but most times they would end up in bed snuggled in each other's arms. The sound of his heartbeat lulling her to sleep. No words were needed just the feeling of each other's warmth was enough.
Laying in bed all day snuggled up next to her made him feel at peace even when the turmoil in her head kept her from smiling as long as he was with her he was at peace.
Sometimes he would wake up and she'd be sitting on the balcony watching the waves crash against the shore, the smell of sea water filling her nose and a small smile on her face. She always felt at ease on the beach. "Baby girl are you alright?" He asked
She turned around to see him in the door way, a half smile on his face "yeah i didn't want to wake you so i came out here" she said.
"talk to me sweetheart. What's wrong" he coaxed her.
"my own mind is what's wrong! I wish I could have a brain transplant and be 'normal' without all this turmoil in my head!' She said trying to fight tears again.
"baby I will be here for you no matter what!" He said knowing what she was thinking before she even said it. She was afraid her mental health was to much for him to deal with but after 5 years he had never left her side. "I love you" he smiled
A small smile crept on her lips "I love you to"
