In Too Deep
Tumblr media
Pairing: Kim Taehyung!xFemale Reader
Warning: swearing, crude language, mentions of fwb, and mentions of intimate sex
Premise: He's your brother's best friend, that's why you let things slide, but he's gone too far. He's crossed too many lines and now he had to accept that his regular excuses weren't good enough. One hell of a wake-up call to realize just how deep he was in.
word count: 4.1K
Authors notes: I had originally planned this one to contain smut, but no matter how I wrote it it didn't feel quite right. HOWEVER, if you all want a part two with the smut..... I am more than willing to indulge.

Loud footsteps boom through your apartment as you throw the door open, heels flying off. Marching over to the couch and throwing your work bag down you spin around rage all but consuming you. Every breath coming out ragged, body trembling from sheer outrage. The man following behind you drags his feet, closing the door after you, head down sheepishly avoiding eye contact.
If he was going to act like a man-child at your workplace, unasked for might you add, he could at least take his consequences and the brutal chastising he was about to get like an adult.
“What the actual hell do you think you’re doing?” You can’t keep your voice calm, you can’t keep your mind calm. Everything in your being is ready to punch this beautiful man in his stupid beautiful face.
He stands there silently, still not making eye contact. His shaggy hair covers your line of sight to his eyes.
‘Coward’ your brain supplies you in his silence.
“He wanted to sleep with you.” He eventually mutters out.
Your mouth drops open. He did not just say that. Please lord help you, he did not just say that.
“He wanted to…” Completely dumbfounded. This has to be the most ridiculous thing you’d ever heard. “...sleep with me”
“He was trying to get lucky. He was getting all handsy with you.” Finally finding his excuses, eyes coming to rest on yours. “I heard him bragging to his friend about how he was getting laid tonight. There was no way I was going to let a sleeze talk about you like that.”
This was his justification? THIS is why he caused a scene at your work? Almost getting into a fight with a customer and being escorted out by security. You had managed to talk to the owners of the club you work at and apologize profusely. Only a warning was given thankfully as you had been one of their favorite waitresses and hype dancers since starting over a year ago, bringing in a good chunk of regulars to their VIP lounge area.
He had to be fucking joking right now.
“First of all, you don’t get to tell me who I can and can't sleep with.” Your voice comes out like acid, finger pointing at him viciously. “Secondly, it’s my job to make them believe they have a chance. That's how they tip well and keep coming back. I was doing my job! And I was doing it well until you had to neanderthal your way into being almost on the permanent blacklist. Not to mention risking my job.”
Exasperation didn’t cut it. Pure imbridadled rage didn’t cut it. This was giving you a migraine. Trying to relieve some pain you rub at your temples.
“If you don’t like what I’m doing then LEAVE.” You kindly gesture to the front door, eyes now closed due to the increasing throbbing. “My brother said it would be 4 days, why are you still here?” You were exhausted. He was exhausting.
“Because we realized just how much you fool around, it’s not safe for you like this. We needed to keep an eye on you.” He tries to persuade you. Always trying to be the hero. Something’s never changed. You roll your eyes at his pathetic attempt at passing blame.
“Who is we?” You bite back bitterly.
“Your brother and I”
“No. Hell no! My brother already knows what I do, he’s fine with it. Do not pin your weird hyperfixation of us being a family on me.” Great now you were full blown shouting at him.
“That’s not what I’m doing. I’m worried about you, you’re like a sister to me.” His small pleading means nothing to you. You’ve heard this excuse too many times before.
“YOU’RE NOT MY BROTHER TAEHYUNG!” You scream at him, now turning away from him to walk away. Anything to give yourself room to breathe.
“I understand you don’t see me as family but- I just want you to be safe. What if something bad happens? I don't understand why you’re being so reckless.” He chastises you as you stomp over toward your large bay window.
“You know exactly why I do this!” You spin around at him. Your old nickname of Viper coming back full force. You wanted to tear his head off.
“Don’t make this my fault!” His aim at defending himself came out as an unconfident whine.
“I’m not saying it’s your fault! GOD!” Hands scratching at your skelp, you wanted to pull all of your hair out. These double standard rules were driving you crazy.  “I’m saying let me deal with rejection and heartbreak the way I want to! When Ari dumped you, you went on a gym binge for 3 months and opted for one night stands. When my brother was cheated on he never came out of his room for 6 months and slept with a previous ex. Everyone deals with it differently, so let me deal with it.”
“3 years. 3 years you’ve been messing around, never committing to a serious relationship. 3 years of your extreme recklessness. Why aren’t you over this by now?” He scoffs at you. Wait…did he just. The venom returned in full force.
“BECAUSE YOU WON’T LEAVE. I'VE BEEN IN LOVE WITH YOU FOR 9 YEARS! I FINALLY TELL YOU HOW I FELT AND YOU BRUSH ME OFF WHEN YOU’RE THE ONE WHO ASKED ME TO THINK ABOUT IT” You let everything out, right into his face, making short work of the room between you. All pent up rage over the years, all the resentment you had for him, as coming out in an almost hysteria.
“We were only kids….”
“And I was dumb enough think I was special to you. I let myself fall for you and when you were finally 21 I told you my feelings and you said ‘we’re family’ and then introduced me to your girlfriend!” You scream, finally you were addressing it. Finally the elephant in the room was pointed out.  “Do you not understand how aggravating that is?”
“We-”
“Every time I go home to see my brother and parents, you’re there. Every time my brother visits me, you’re there. I meet up with my brother, you're there. I meet up with our old friends YOU ARE THERE. And now I’ve finally gotten away and distanced myself from you…” You breathe shakily. “You show up at my door needing a place to stay for a couple days.”
“I can’t get over you if you’re in my life. I can’t forget you when every chance you get you meddle into my personal life. Your comments. Your judgements. The way you talk about me to your new friends.” You scoff at him, walking away again to look out of the same window as before. Muttering over your shoulder at his cheap pathetic expression.. “You think I want to keep loving someone who thinks so little of me?”
You laugh bitterly. Some sick joke this is.
“You’re the one with the preconceived notions. You have no right to talk bad about the people I sleep with.” You can’t let yourself break yet. Not yet. Not when he’s looking at you with disbelief and the smallest hint of disgust. Your arms crossing over your chest, eyes narrowing at the outside world.  “Yes I have friends I occasionally sleep with, but they are still my FRIENDS. We have mutual respect for each other, which is something clearly you and I don’t have.”
You turn to look at him when you hear the floorboards creak under him, his steps heavy. Eyes ablaze with fury? Something you just said made him snap. But what the hell was it?
“How do you think I feel having to defend you all the time? Most of the guys around town know who you are all because you can’t stop acting like a whore!” His dropping to the deepest parts of his chest.
You stare at him in disbelief. All need to fight him is gone. You both drown in silence, his words sinking in.
“Get out.” You try to steady your voice.
“Wait Y/N i didn’t mean-” He pleads.
“Didn’t mean to what Tae? Tell me you're embarrassed to have such a whore of a sister.” Your tongue feels like barbed wire in your mouth as it moves.
“I-”
“Whatever you thought this was between you and me. Family. A stupid one-sided crush. We’re done. We are nothing anymore, understood?” You slowly walk over, every step in time to your words until you are directly in front of him.
All he does is stand there, shock all over his face, eyes wide. If you didn’t know better it looked more like he was surprised at himself for saying it, then your reaction. You rip your eyes away from his stunned figure. Neglecting to think further then your need to leave, you stare at your front door.
“Now I’m going to tell you exactly what is going to happen. I’m heading over to Jimin and Hoseoks for the night. YOU are packing your stuff up and finding somewhere else to stay. You will be gone when I get back. And I will never speak to you again.”
Pushing past him you don't say goodbye or anything else. No looking back to check on him. Slipping your bare feet into your sneakers you leave your apartment.
‘Don’t break. Don’t break.’ You tell yourself over and over again as you make your way sprinting over to your friend's place. No phone, no keys, no wallet. Nothing, not like you’ll need it anyways. You continue your mantra until you're standing in front of their door, shaking. You’re holding on by a thread and it's not until the door opens and you’re confronted with Hoseok and Jimin’s concerned faces that you finally let yourself break down into a sobbing mess. Two pairs of arms wrap around you instantly, pulling you into the safety of their space.
----------------------
“You called my sister a WHORE? Are you fucking kidding me Taehyung?!” Yoongi barrels into his living room from his office, upon hearing his best friend enter and fussing around in the kitchen. He had just gotten off the phone with Hoseok, who you had told everything to after you stopped crying and fell asleep.
Out of nowhere Taehyung had showed up at his place a few days ago asking to stay there instead. Yoongi could tell something was wrong, but he was waiting patiently for one of you to explain it to him. Clearly he should have demanded answers sooner.
“It was an accident! It slipped out before I could think clearly.” Visibly shaken by the outburst, his eyes jump to the older, brain scrambled.
“You are so fucking dumb. I thought I knew how dumb you were, but it turns out you are on a whole nother level of stupidity.” Yoongi has always been calm, nothing really makes him raise his voice. Well nothing except things to do with his sister.
“I KNOW!” He can’t defend himself, not from you and definitely not from your brother. “I’m a fucking moron ok?!”
“Not ok. You’ve known her your entire life and somehow your empty fucking head neglects the fact that y/n sleeping around are RUMOURS.”
“But she’s-”
“Sleeping with Hoseok and Jimin? Yes, but that’s it! Have you ever talked to these guys? Probably not because your ignorant ass cant see passed the fact that she’s actually fucking people.” He’s became friends with both of them soon after you had started spending all your time with them.
You had started talking about them almost every time yoongi and you went out for dinner. They were obviously really special people in your life. So he had asked you about them, and you had smiled and said that you’d like them. To which that led them to meeting him in person. He easily found them bearable. Both with bright and positive personalities he could see why you had latched onto them.
But he wasn’t stupid or blind and the three of you didn’t try to hide anything either.
“It’s not that I thought she wouldn’t. I was just mad that she wasn’t being careful. I just wanted her to find a nice guy and settle down! Is that so wrong?”  Taehyung truly believes every word he’s saying. He’s just looking out for you.
“Being careful? Settling down? How many one night stands have you had in the last 6 months Tae? How many relationships have you been in for the 3 years? Hell what about me?” Yoongi reasons with him. One thing he knows almost as much as his sister is his bestfriend. Even if his bestfriend is too blind to notice.“You don’t get to call my sister a whore just because you're jealous!”
“Jealous?”Taehyung hesitates, the wheels in his head turning. “Of what?”
“For fuck sakes Tae. I really hoped you would figure your shit out. You’re so fucking dense when it comes to Y/n.”
The confusion sets in on his face, brows and nose scrunching. What was he dense about? What the hell was Yoongi on about. He wanted you to be safe. Be with someone who knew you, inside and out. Who could treasure you in every chance they’d get. Look after you when your anxiety got too much, knew what you’d need. Be ready to suffer at the end of your viper tongue, handling your blunt and independent demands. Reassure you that you are the most beautiful being in the universe. Someone that would check all the boxes of what you deserve from a partner.
He had high expectations of who ever wanted to be with you, what was so wrong with that?
“You’re in love with her.” Yoongi fights himself not to smack Taehyung, when the others' eyes shoot to him in utter skepticism. “Don't give me any of the family bullshit you try to shove down her throat. It’s pathetic how hard you push it. You’re pissed because after all this time you are in love with her and she is doing her damned best to move on from you. Including fucking her friends.”
“But she’s your sister! And you’re my best friend! Of course I’d see her as my sister too.”
That wasn’t a proper rebuttal. Yoongi let’s it slide for now. Staring down Taehyung from across the kitchen. This man needed a wakeup call, and Yoongi was gonna give him a hell of a ride through actualization-vill.
“You don’t get to use that as an excuse, just because she’s my sister. She’s my sister to worry about, not yours!”
His immediate dismissal set Taehyung's jaw on edge. Shoulders tense, hands into fists before his own outburst, “How can you say that? I’ve always had your back when you were protecting her from those idiots trying to get with her. You’re extremely protective of her.”
“You’ve only had my back because it meant keeping other people away from her. Stop using me as an excuse for how you feel. I know my sister, better than anyone, just like I know you. Just admit it to yourself already.”
“I’m not-“ He can’t find the words. He can’t bring himself to. How was he supposed to make Yoongi see…
“Not what? Not in love with her… or not worth her love?” Yoongi sighs, eyes softening. Empathy now shining in them, he crosses the room to make his friend listen, to make him see. Hand coming to rest on the tallers shoulder.
“She-“
“She’s been in your life since you can remember. She’s the only female that has supported you 100% of the time, through every tough decision. She’s never once asked you to change. She’s never once demanded anything from you. She was there when your parents were fighting. She was there when you had surgery. She was there when you had no place to go. She was there when you needed someone to cry to.” His voice comes out calm again.
“…but she’s your sister and I’m-“ His last attempt barely is above a whisper.
“The one person that would make her truly happy. And that’s what I want for her. To be happy, besides if that makes my best friend happy too, that's a bonus. But you need to LET yourself accept this. No one is saying you can’t be in love with her or be with her. Only you are fighting this. Only you are telling yourself you can't have her when she’s right there, willing and wanting to be yours. Open your eyes Taehyung before she closes them for you forever.”
Patting his shoulder Yoongi leaves Taehyung alone in the kitchen, Taehyung watching him retreat back to his office. And for the first time he truly lets himself think about what Yoongi and you have said to him. So much conflict running through his mind and heart.
“Shit…”
----------------------
Requested champagne in hand, black strappy heels clicking on the dark marbled tiles. Black leather shirt draping off your shoulders, body-con dress fitting you just right. Tonight was a Friday night, one of your busiest nights thankfully this was your last room of the night, once this party was done you could go home and snuggle into your fluffy blankets and cozy pajamas. Playing the part, skin aglow, welcome smile plastered on your makeup perfected face. Your 3rd Friday since you last saw Taehyung, your smile hides the pain you still felt but it was a welcome distraction nonetheless.
You stall yourself in front of the VIP ROOM door. Deep breath. Shoulders back. Smile bright.
You give the door a knock before entering.
“Good evening Gentlemen, I have brought you the champagne you requ-”
Lungs on fire, contradicting your now frozen body, eyes trained on the back of a single figure staring out at the rest of the club. His broad shoulders and shaggy hair, backlit by the lights from the stage and dance floor. Why did he have to look so agonizingly beautiful in his snug black slacks and silk dress shirt. Damnit, that was the same shirt you bought him a couple of birthdays ago.
2 steps in the door, still you could run. You should run.
You can’t run.
“What are you doing here?!” Finding your voice, it comes out a little more gravely then you had hoped.
“I just want to talk” Sheepish warm brown eyes look at you, they take in your appearance. Your whole appearance.
Music booms behind you through the open door, you barely can hear him. Regardless it still makes you itch, anger festering deep within you.
“I told you we were done.” Thankfully your voice comes out firmer then you feel. Inside you can feel yourself slipping through your fingers already. Just by seeing him again.
“I know. I tried calling but you blocked my number and all of my social media.” He gives a nod, dead smile ghosting his lips momentarily.
“I meant what I said.” You walk farther into the room, resolution sound as you place the glass bottle of the expensive liquid down on the frosted glass table. Glancing at it briefly, his favourite kind, you should have known.
“Please just let me explain-” He takes a hesitant step toward you.
“You explained yourself enough. Tae,” You exhale deeply.  “please. Just let it be done. I don’t want to do this with you anymore.”
“I can’t-” His deep voice barely audible over the sound, but you can hear it break. “I can’t let you go”
Your head shakes involuntarily, failing to stop the tears from collecting in your eyes you turn away arms crossed over you, protecting what you could of your heart. “This isn’t fair Taehyung.”
Footsteps approach you, you’re hyper aware of his presence close behind you. “I know, I am the worst of the worst and I promise I’ll leave you alone but please just listen to what I have to say first? Please”
You reach out for the door, creating distance between you. One last chance to leave.
“You have 2 minutes”
The door shuts, all the night life now muffled, softly placing yourself on the couch. Spine rigid, you wait eyes now on his overly anxious figure as he continues to stand. You can see the slight sweat on his temples now. Good, he's nervous. He should be.
“Thank you. Ok first I want to say I’m sorry for calling you.. that name… it was unjustified, and completely wrong of me to say that. You sleeping with 1 or 2, hell even 50 people doesn’t give me the right to demean you. And it was none of my business, regardless because yes. I am not your brother. I fooled myself into believing it. Pushing myself to only allow myself to see you as my sister when I asked you to think about what we were to each other. I was so afraid at the time you’d shut me down, and saying something about my adolescence factoring my love for you. Which was true. I was young and I so desperately wanted you to see me as a man but you said you’d let me know when I was older and I felt like I was being buried alive with guilt and rejection. Guilt for wanting my best friend's sister, guilt for possibly ruining the friendship the three of us had, guilt of possibly making you feel uncomfortable around me. So when that girl confessed to me I just said yes on a whim. Hoping I could maybe fall in love with her if I try really hard, as well as make myself fall out of love with you. I was so scared of what I asked of you and then of what I did. I pushed it down so well I truly believed I only loved you like a sister. But I could never stand idle when it came to you. Every event I wanted to be at to support you, every heartbreak I wanted to pummel those guys into the ground. I was so panicked every time Yoongi would tell me something about you and would always ask him ‘well what are we gonna do?’. I put myself on the front line, I tried to place myself between you and the world all while still believing I loved you like a sister. Like I should be doing, family. That’s what I always wanted from your brother and your parents. They felt like family to me, so you had to be too. But knowing now you are working in a place like this, where everyone can see you looking absolutely breathtaking, knowing that Jimin and Hoseok get to see you in a way that I never could. Something so vulnerable and intimate for their eyes only. That they were your friends. They get to have friendly banter, movie marathons, nights out, smart quips from your venomous tongue AND be with you like that. I’m sorry I talked badly about them, I know they mean so much to you. I had to understand, to pull myself away and think about it without my feelings getting in the way. Yoongi was right, I’ve been blind and stupid because of the fear I made up in my head. When I should have held you close I pushed you away and chained myself. But I’ve realized how I feel about you know, about us. And I know I’m years too late to give you an actual answer and I know I need to do better. I’m still immature and possessive and I don’t think things through all the way and I’m clearly terrible at communicating and I know I have to change and-“
“What do you feel now.” You cut him off. You maintain a neutral expression. He needed to say it before you made up your mind.
“You still want to know?” He chokes out, almost a whimper.
“I’ve always known about your terrible personality Tae. This isn’t new, I’ve been around you long enough to see your relationships fall apart, remember? You don’t have to change, just grow, like you’re doing right now. If you change who you are completely then you aren’t you anymore, then who am I supposed to be in love with?” He needs to say it. “So tell me. Right now, how do you feel about me?”
“I love you. Not as a sister but as someone I want to be with. I am so idiotically In love with you that I detest myself for putting you through this pain.” It all tumbles from his mouth. “But I’m still scared.”
“Why?” No more excuses.
“What if you find out I’m not worth your love?”
“Taehyung. If I thought that I would have stopped years ago. I’m in too deep.” You give him a slight smile, eyes sparkling with something new.
“I’m in too deep too.”

BTS Reaction: Their Little Sister Asks Them To Pick Her Up
Warnings: Female reader, angst, being roofied, being drunk, broken bones, sister reader. M.list
Tumblr media
Kim Seokjin
You were out with people you thought were your friends, but they had ditched you for some random guys that you had no interest in dealing with. You were in a part of town you didn’t know well, and being slightly tipsy and basically no more money, you had no way to get home. You pulled out your phone and grimaced at the thought of bothering your brother, but you didn’t really have another option. The dial tone played out and for a second you thought he wasn’t going to answer, when he suddenly the phone clicked.
‘You better have a good excuse for waking me up at 2AM!’ He wasn’t happy, but you couldn’t blame him. You had moved to stand outside of a random storefront in an attempt to get away from the blaring music of the club.
‘Jin oppa, would you be able to pick me up?’ You sheepishly asked, already sobering up a little.
‘YAH! Are you serious Y/N? You know what time it is!?’ He yelled into the phone, now fully awake.
‘I know and I’m sorry! It’s just that my friends have abandoned me and Sara was my ride home, plus I don’t know the area well...’ You blurted out, wanting him to understand you wouldn’t have called if you had another option. He was quiet for a moment, before he dramatically sighed down the phone. You could her the sound of sheets rustling and angry grumbling.
‘You need better friends.’ He mumbled under his breath, causing you to smile.
‘So you’re coming?’
‘Of course I’m coming! You’re lucky I’m a good big brother or I’d leave you!’
‘You love me too much to do that.’ You smiled lightly.
‘More like mom would kill me.’ Jin laughed, lightening the mood slightly.
‘I’m on my way now. Is it safe where you are?’

Min Yoongi
Who told you going to a bar alone was a good idea? You thought that as a grown woman, you would be able to sit and enjoy a drink by yourself, but the universe had other ideas. The whole time you were sat at the bar, this creepy dude had been staring at you from across the room, making you incredibly uncomfortable. When you weren’t looking, he’d somehow managed to weasel his was next to you.
‘Hey sexy. How about we get out of here?’ You were disgusted when he put his arm round your shoulders and leaned in close. His breath reeked of alcohol and was slurring his words.
‘Please leave me alone.’ You snapped, pushing him away. You got up and tried to make your way to the bathroom, when suddenly your arm was grabbed tightly from behind, causing you to yelp out in pain.
‘Come on! You’re practically begging for it with that short skirt.’ Your eyes widened in panic, desperately searching for help, but nobody seemed to be paying you any attention.
‘Let go!’ You practically screamed before swinging you arm forward and scratching your nails along his face. The man gasped out in pain and released you to cradle his face. You took the opportunity to run to the bathroom and lock the door behind you. You sat down on the toilet seat, trying your hardest not to hyperventilate as you pulled out your phone, almost dropping it since you were shaking so much.
‘Please pick up!’ You pleaded to yourself, panic building up inside you. Yoongi didn’t pick up until the 3rd time you tried to call.
‘Y/N I’m busy wha-‘ You cut him off as soon as he started speaking.
‘Yoongi please! I need you to come and get me.’ You whimpered out. the blood drained from his face when he heard you voice.
‘Are you ok?’ He asked, now on edge as he quickly gathered his things.
‘There’s this guy, he wont leave me alone. He grabbed me!’ you stuttered out, tears beginning to fall freely.
‘Shit. Where are you now? Are you safe?’ he was rushing out og his lab as he spoke, wanting to get to you as fast as possible.
‘I’m locked in the bathroom...’
‘Good! Stay on the phone. I’m on my way now.’ Yoongi ignored the confused glance from Hoseok as he rushed through the building.
‘Oppa please hurry.’ Yoongi felt awful. All he could think about was, what if he didn’t pick up? What if he continued to ignore you? He didn’t want to think about the consequences that would have come from that...
Tumblr media
Jung Hoseok
This wasn’t right. You’d only had two drinks and you already felt like your world was spinning. You could barely see anything and staying stood was a chore.
‘Hey are you ok!? Oh my-!’ You suddenly fell, unable to stay standing. Luckily, the girl who spoke was quick enough to grab onto you, and lower you into the seating booth.
‘Did you take anything?’ She shouted over the music. You could only move your head from side to side, too delirious to speak. Someone must have spiked you, you were sure of it.
‘I’m gonna get your phone out your bag ok? See if I can call someone for you.’
It was almost 1AM when Hoseok was awoken to his phone vibrating violently on his bedside table. He lazily reached over and bought it to his ear without opening his eyes.
‘What?’ He snapped, wanting nothing more than to sleep.
‘Hi! Um, you were down as brother in this girls phone-‘ His eyes snapped open and he sat up. Pulling the phone away. He confirmed it was your number calling him.
‘Who is this? Where is Y/N?’ He demanded harshly.
‘I think someone slipped her something. She is barely conscious.’  She explained as she kept a careful eye on you. By this point, some other women and staff from the venue had wondered over. Said staff already on the phone to the ambulance.
‘what!?’ He stuttered out, not believing what he was hearing.
‘Yeah the security are calling an ambulance, but I think she would appreciate it if a familiar face were here.’ The girl was calm, she was clearly trying to be comforting, and he was grateful for that.
‘Fuck! Fuck! Tell me which club, I’ll be there soon!’ He practically threw himself out of bed and began to get dressed.
Hang on Y/N. Your big brother is coming...
Tumblr media
Kim Namjoon
You were a lightweight, there was no doubt about it. You, along with a few close friends were all out for your best friends birthday and you all planned to get as drunk as possible.
At around 11pm, Namjoon was sat in his home eating a late supper, since he had been busy all day, when his phone started to ring. He looked at the caller ID in confusion, since he knew you were supposed to be out that night.
‘Y/N? Is everything alright? I thought it was Sana’s birthday today?’
‘Joonie!’ You screeched out obnoxiously into the receiver. He pulled the phone away from his ear, not expecting you to be so loud.
‘Joonie! I need you to come get me!’ Your voice was muffled through the phone, nut he could hear the small giggles you kept letting out.
‘Y/N are you drunk already? It’s not even midnight yet!’  He sighed, only slightly annoyed. Dealing with his drunk little sister was the last thing he needed that day.
‘Yeah! I had this amazing drink- I don’t even know what it was but it was strong!’ Even though you were slurring your words, you were acting way too cheery right now.
‘Did your friends drink this too? Where are you all?’ Namjoon leaned his head on his head, wishing he could get back to his food.
‘I don’t actually know where they are.’ You casually confessed. Namjoon furrowed his eyebrows.
‘What do you mean?’
‘That club was boring so now I’m walking  to a new one, I just don’t know the way!’ His eyes widened in panic. You were walking down a random street alone at night! He needed to get to you asap.
‘Y/N stay right where you are! I’m coming to get you.’
‘Ah jeez oppa, such a buzz kill.’ You sulked. ‘I only wanted a lift to the club.’
‘Y/N please this is serious right now. You need to tell me where you are.’ You were seriously going to be the death of him. You had never done something so reckless before, so when you sobered up in the morning, the two of you would be having a very serious talk. Hangover be damned.
Tumblr media
Park Jimin
‘Are you serious right now?’ You sighed to yourself, frustrated beyond belief. You’d met up with a friend to get food, and now it seemed like you had misplaced your car key’s. You slammed your bag down on top of your car in anger. How could you be so careless? The time was almost midnight. You had no idea you were out for so long. Glancing down the street, you were now conscious of the fact that you were alone in a dark car park. You rubbed your arms and opened your phone as you walked back to the bar. You didn’t want to bother your brother, but you knew he would understand. He answered on the first ring.
‘Y/N! You’re calling late. Did you have a good time with Yuna?’ You had text him earlier in the day about how excited you were to catch up.
‘Yeah I had a great time.’ You sighed.
‘Then why do you sound upset?’ He could always pick up when something was wrong, ever since you were kids.
‘I need you to pick me up.’ You groaned, hating to even ask.
‘What? Why? Did you not take your car?’ Jimin asked, confused.
‘I lost my keys.’ You mumbled in embarrassment. As soon as you spoke, Jimin burst out into laughter. So much for sympathy.
‘That’s so something you would do!’ You rolled your eyes, now safely sitting at the bar.
‘Yeah, yeah. Are you coming or not?’
‘I’ll be like 10 minutes. Man I’m so telling mom and dad about this, they will laugh themselves to tears about how careless you are sometimes!’

Kim Taehyung
It was 6AM and Taehyung was soundly asleep in bed, when he was rudely awoken to his phone ringing. He sat up with a start, silently cursing whoever thought it was appropriate to call this early.
‘Hello?’ He groaned out roughly.
‘Taehyung? This is Y/N’s friend Mina.’
‘Ok?’ He drew out, not really sure why he was being called by one of your friends.
‘I don’t think Y/N is gonna be able to get home alone. She’s in a bit of a state...’ Mina trailed off.
‘What? Is she ok?’ Tae was now sat up on his elbows. Concern started to bubble up inside him. Had something happened to you last night?
‘I don’t know if she’s just hungover, but she isn’t handling it well. We all think she would be better at home.’
‘Ah seriously?’  So you were just hungover. He loved you, but the last thing he wanted to be doing at 6AM was playing taxi for his baby sister.
‘Can’t someone there take her?’ He grumbled, annoyance growing.
‘We would, but we’ve all been drinking and we wouldn’t feel right putting her in an Uber alone....’ He didn’t need her to explain that last point. He grimaced at the thought of something happening to you because he was too lazy to go get you.
‘Ok I’m coming. Please look after her until I get there!’ He forced himself out of bed with great effort, not bothering to change out of his pyjamas, before grabbing his keys. You definitely owed him big time for this.
Tumblr media
Jeon Jungkook
‘Oh crap crap crap!!’ The heel on your shoe had just snapped, causing you to go over on your ankle, which was currently swollen with a nice bruise forming. You had managed to hobble over to a quiet area of the bar, in great pain, and sat down at the table. You tentatively   reached down to run your fingers over your ankle, only to pull back with a hiss when white hot pain shot through your leg.
‘Shit this can’t be happening.’ You were starting to panic. You quickly pulled your phone out and checked the time. Only 9pm. You knew Jungkook would also be out that night, probably with the other BTS members. Calling an ambulance was the last thing you wanted to do, so you chanced a call to your brother.
‘Hey Y/N!’ He answered pretty much immediately, cheerful voice filling your phone as loud music played in the background.
‘Hey JK-oppa...’ You trailed, trying to keep your voice steady.
‘Where are you? You should come join me and the boys!’ You could hear the shouts from the boys in the background, all beckoning you over.
‘JK...Can you come take me to the hospital please?’  You whimpered, no longer able to control the pain.
‘Wha- hospital!? What do you mean?’ He already sounded panicked at your question. The music got quieter, so he must have moved to a quieter area.
‘Y/N please answer me!’
‘I think I broke my ankle. I can’t walk.’ Your tears were now freely falling, despite your best efforts.
‘Ah, um shit. Ok. I’ve been drinking but Taehyung is sober. He’ll bring me to you ok?’ You nodded even though he couldn’t see you.
‘Just stay there alright. We’ll be there soon!’  You could hear him talking to someone on the other end of the call, most probably Taehyung to tell him what was happening.
‘I’m so sorry for ruining your night oppa.’ You cried, bottom lip quivering.
‘Hey don’t say that!’ He was quick to shut down that train of thought.
‘My little sister will always take priority when you need help.’
‘Ok....Thank you.’ Your voice was small, still feeling quite bad.
‘I’ll stay on the phone with you, try and distract you a bit until we get there!’

Kang Taehyun's sister ch 1 : BTS Stepbrother ff
Y/N sat in Taehyun's lap, the thirteen year old helping the four year old read.
"J-Johnny l-loves his Mummy." The girl read out. Taehyun cheered and whooped.
"Yeah!" He whooped. "Johnny loves his mommy! Like Terry loves Y/N-ie!"
She giggled cutely and yawned.
"Y/N-ie sleepy." She whined. Taehyun laughed and picked her up, carrying her over to her bed.
"Goodnight, Princess. Terry loves Y/N-ie."
___________________________
That was six years ago. Taehyun was nineteen nos, and Y/N 10. Their love never wavered. Their mother, Emilia, had 10 albulms full of their pictures together.
"Taehyun, Y/N!" She called. The two sibling leapt up and ran down the stairs.
"Do you need anything, eomma?" Y/N asked sweetly. Emilia giggled and shook her head.
"I'm getting married." Emilia said. "And Iwant you to meet him before we marry."
"You-marry?" Taehyun stuttered, shocked. "Who?"
"His name is Kim Junhyo." Emilia said. "Y/N, Taehyun, what do you say?"
"I-uh- yorah. I guess I can meet him."
"Great!" Emilia said. "I'll invite him and his son's."
"S-sons?" Taehyun asked. "Eomma, boys aren't allowed bear Y/N."
"Says who?" She asked, amused.
"Me." Taehyun snapped defiantly.
"They said they'll be delighted to come over." Emilia said. "I want you to dress nicely."
"Yes Eomma." They chorused, going back to their respective rooms."
___________________________
"Lia!" A man said, kissing her cheek. She giggled and hit him lightly.
"Jun, the kids are in the house, let's not." She laughed. "Kang Taehyun! Kang Y/N!"
"Yes Eomma?" Y/N asked, flashing her phone to see the time.
"This is Mr Junghyo. Say hi."
"Hi Mr Kim." Y/N said. "I'm Y/N and that good for nothing is my Oppa, Taehyun."
"I'll get you back." Taehyun hissed playfully, before turning back to Junghyo. "Mr Kim, I'm Taehyun."
"These are my son's." Mr Kim introduced.
"Kim Seokjin."
"Kim Yoongi."
"Kim Hoseok."
"Kim Namjoon."
"Kim Jimin."
"Kim Taehyung."
"Kim Jungkook."
"Excellent!" Emilia clapped her hands together. "Let's eat."
"Eomma!" Y/N said. "But Terry promised to play Fortnite with me!"
"Later, babygirl." Taehyun said. "After dinner. First thing, promise."
"Alright." Y/N agreed, beginning tostuff her face. Taehyun looked at her incredulously. "What?"
"You're just like before." Taehyun sniggered. "You can never hold yourself when it comes to food."
After dinner, it was decided that Mr Kim and his son's would spend the night with the Kangs.
___________________________
"Come here." Y/N gestured to Taehyun, and he walked into her room. She motioned for him to sit down, and covered the mirror.
"Oh gosh." He groaned, you're going to make me ugly again, aren't you?"
"Oh come on, everyone said you were cute!"
Three hours later, and Y/N was done. She tried to hold in her giggles.
"Eomma!" She called. "Eomma!"
"Yes dar-" She stopped, Mr Kim behind her, and burst into laughter. "Good heavens, Princess, what did you do to your poor Oppa?"
"Is it that bad?" Taehyun snatched the clothaesy from the mirror and let out a shout of horror. He ran down the stairs to the boys. He really wasn't one to talk to strangers, but this was an emergency.
"Do I look horrible?" He panicked, staring at them. There was a moment of silence, then the living room filled with laughter as the boys took in his appearance.
"Dude, your sister has a wild sense of style." Jimin cackled. Taehyun huffed and went back to Y/N's room, snatching the make up wipes.
"You're going to pay." He said, making Y/N laugh.
___________________________
Y/N and Taehyun were still taking their time to warm up to the Kim's. They didn't mind, for they understood how it was. To have a parent taken away by another person. Someone who'd cared for them their whole life.

I'm going to say it: I've got the two best sisters in the world. And the youngest one knows my job sucks and there's always a 90% chance it'll be a bad day. And she writes this. If she only knew that it's HER giving me this is what brightens up my day. Like BTS, she and my other sister are the ones who show me I have reasons I should love myself.
Lo dirò: ho le due migliori sorelle del mondo. E il più giovane sa che il mio lavoro fa schifo e c'è sempre il 90% di possibilità che si riveli una brutta giornata. E lei me scrive questo. Se lei avessi saputo che LEI mi avrebbe dato questo dettaglio, è ciò che illumina la mia giornata. Come BTS, lei e l'altra mia sorella sono quelle che mi insegnano che ho ragioni per amarmi.

Cult 0T7 fic.
What happens when one’s sin is too big for the highest deity to forgive? Seven individuals who have committed the most hideous crimes, show up at your town; paying the holy leader of the cult heaps of money to have you cleanse them of their sins. Whatever happens in a cult, stays in a cult.
Contains: cult themes, public sex, rough sex, members fighting over who can fuck y/n first, members are driven crazy by lust, double penetration in pussy, triple penetration ass and pussy, double blowjob, attempt at trice blowjob but fails, riding, idk what else
Admin note: I deliberately kept any details and references to any religion as vague as possible.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
It was the last full moon of the month, a time for celebrating the harvest and honoring the God that you and the people you cherished worshipped religiously, night to day, day to night. A special night, as it was only on this night where mortals were granted forgiveness for sins that wouldn’t be excused by human beings; sins that were too vile for any mortal to overlook, but a sin that a God could forgive, so long as you repented.
So long as you repented…
…and had sexual intercourse on the last full moon of the month, a practice that all of you were willing to participate in. Word got around quick and sex tourists desperately tried to participate, but your town shouldn’t be seen as some sort of sex theme park. No, this was a sacred ritual that you and the other people in the town participated in, to the point where you all saw it as an act of tradition without batting an eye at the freakiness of it all.
The head of the cult would never steer you wrong, he knew what was best for the town.
“Seven individuals have come to partake in our tradition tonight.” The wise man spoke, a smile plastered on his face. “We know that seven is a sacred number, don’t we? This cannot be a coincidence! It is the will of the Gods that this will be done. Our town will prosper, I assure you all of this.” He spoke to the crowd, his eyes gleaming in the light of the candle and fire.
He looked back at you, placing a hand on your shoulder.
“Are you ready, my child?” He led you to the hot springs. “The Gods will surely be pleased with this outcome, as will we all be once the harvest is bountiful in our town.”
You were more than ready to go through with this, the Gods would bless the town.
You left the man behind as you were welcomed by the two elder sisters who prepared you for the tradition; scrubbing your body, soaping it, and then softening your skin with a blend of almond and coconut oil. Your hair was dried before they wrapped the silk robe around you, a hug and a kiss on the cheek given by one of the two, before you walked off and made your way to where the tradition would take place.
There was an open space in the far back of the town; far enough to scare off tourists but near enough for interested townspeople to come and have a look. It was surrounded by torches and candles, an altar placed at the center of the open area, decorated with roses, lilies, and daisies. A swing hung from a tree, a bed of soft furs and blankets a few feet from the swing, and water flowing nearby.
Seven wooden chairs were lined up in front of the altar, each seat occupied by seven strangers, before you could have a closer look, the leader of the cult spoke up.
“Kim Namjoon, Kim Seokjin, Jung Hoseok, Min Yoongi, Park Jimin, Kim Taehyung, and Jeon Jungkook, you are all welcome here.” The man glanced over to the crowd before looking back at the men. “May the Gods be gracious to us all, for we are all pure-hearted, and our intentions are true and good, we come together for one goal and one goal only: the will of the Gods!” The audience clapped, some of the older ones praying under their breath.
You sat on the furs, the silk robe still on, and you watched the seven men walk down the path that the people created for them. It wasn’t something you’d normally think about, but you couldn’t help but notice how handsome each of them were, every man holding a unique feature that made you stare.
You laid back on the furs, a pillow under your head, and waited, watching as they undressed themselves and like a pack of wild animals, they pounced on you. Hands roamed all over your body, fingers pinching and twisting your nipples, fingers rubbed your clit, lips sucked at your neck, hands caressed your thighs, tips were pushed at your entrance before you were forcibly pulled back by another member who was eager to fuck you first.
They argued, they bickered, they fought, they shoved each other, your body bounced back and forth as they wrestled and tried to pull you into their arms, Yoongi grabbed hold of you and dragged you across the furs and blankets, before the rest of the men piled on top of you, two cocks pushed into your mouth while another cock rubbed against your face.
You looked up to see that the three cocks belonged to Taehyung, Jungkook and Jimin. In your left hand, you held Namjoon’s cock, while your right hand held Hoseok’s cock. There were so many cocks that you were starting to lose count.
You felt Yoongi’s tip push in before it was abruptly pushed away by Seokjin’s tip, their cocks pushing and rubbing against each other before both slid into your pussy. You let out a gasp, mouth wide open, cocks slipping out, before they were hastily pushed back into your mouth. The two men inside of you fucked you in tandem, their cocks brushing against each other.
You took shaky breaths through your nose, focusing on sucking their cocks, while also focusing on rubbing the cocks that you held in your hands. Seokjin held onto your hips while Yoongi’s fingers dug into your ass, them both pushing you back and forth on their cocks, bouncing you back and forth. Taehyung who was rubbing his cock against your face, felt himself grow impatient, and pushed himself into your mouth, but when he realized it wouldn’t fit, he pulled back out.
The citizens watched, some bursting into tears, others clapping, a few cheering, the majority chanting and praying, but they were all proud of the ritual being carried out so far. They’d make sure to praise you after you’re done, bring you gifts and your favorite treats as a reward for your outstanding work.
You felt Seokjin’s pace turn sloppy and frantic, his moans louder than before, and not even a second later, he came. He filled you up first, panting, beads of sweat dripping down his forehead. He stayed inside of you for a while longer, until he finally pulled out.
Yoongi didn’t allow anyone to take Jin’s place, he continued fucking you, his pace fast and hard. You couldn’t help the lewd noises that slipped past your lips, and you didn’t care how loud you were. The only thing on your mind was the cock slamming into your pussy.
Jimin switched places with Taehyung, now his cock in your mouth while Jimin stepped back and enjoyed the show. Jungkook tilted his head back as he pushed his hips further towards your face, digging his cock deeper into your mouth.
Soon after, Yoongi’s seed spilled inside of you, and you clenched around his cock. He groaned, biting down on his lip, pulling out of you. Your pussy was only left alone for a few seconds before Hoseok eagerly took the spot. He sat down next to you before he pulled you onto his lap, earning some annoyed groans and glares from the men as their cocks slipped out of your mouth and hands.
Hoseok lifted you up and down, bouncing you on his cock, and he held a smile on his face at how soaking wet and warm your pussy was. Namjoon took the opportunity to ram his cock into your needy pussy, both him and Hoseok fucking you in tandem, and the pleasure was too much. You screamed and moaned, the cocks stuffed inside of you were making you feel lightheaded. You could feel Hoseok’s tongue drag over your neck as Namjoon kneaded your chest, your breasts filling his large hands.
Your ears rang, your mind went blank, and everything felt blurry, but the men continued to fuck you. Your head tilted back as Namjoon and Hoseok changed the rhythm, Namjoon pounding into your pussy while Hoseok slowly fucked into you. The three of you continued to go on like this, the cocks stuffing you to the brim, until Hoseok and Namjoon both came, their seed filling you up.
One of the sisters on standby, stepped in to offer you a cup of water, before she bowed and stepped back, not wanting to stand in the way of you finishing. You took a minute to breathe and catch your breath, before the three youngest were left.
You were taken away from the blankets and brought to one of the chairs, where Taehyung sat down and pulled you onto his lap. He held you into place as he pushed his errection into your ass, stretching your hole and earning a squeak from you. As he fucked your ass, Jungkook and Jimin stepped over. Jungkook went straight for pushing his cock into your pussy, while Jimin decided to make you suck his cock for a few minutes before he also pushed in his cock into your pussy.
The chair creaked and shifted under the weight and force of the three men fucking you relentlessly, but you couldn’t even hear it, your hearing fuzzy and your sight blurry.
“Oh! Oh!” You gasped, eyes wide and mouth agape, unable to do anything but allow the three men to use your holes however they pleased. It was too much— too much pleasure at the same time, but it was so good, too good. Drool dripped down your chin, your hair a mess, your robe abandoned somewhere on the ground. First Taehyung would thrust, before pulling out, which was when Jimin pushed in, along with Jungkook, before they’d switch their pace and start alternating again.
Taehyung was the first to come, his seed spilling inside of you, and as soon as he pulled out, it was when Jimin and Jungkook came as well, filling you up with their seed.
You were left panting, drool dripping from your mouth and tears in your eyes. The sisters stood by your side and wrapped a warm towel around you. Your legs were shaking, and you felt wobbly so you sat back down, shit, you needed a break after that.
“Now I declare, that all of you have been cleared of your sins…
Jungkook, Battery
Jimin, Extortion
Taehyung, Kidnapping
Seokjin, Murder
Namjoon, Burglary
Yoongi, Cybercrime

Black Ice
Tumblr media
Bangtan Christmas drabble 7 - read the rest here.
Min Yoongi only cares about three things. The thrill of drifting, his friends, and cars, in that order. Somehow, you've got under his skin. Part of the Drift Kings AU.
Pairing: Yoongi x f! reader
Rating: 18+
Genre: Street racer/mechanic! Yoongi, smut
Word count: 3.2k
Warnings: Sex, swearing
Min Yoongi knows loneliness. He knows the unrelenting ache of it, the way it permeates every aspect of one’s psyche.
He knows what it feels like to look for a connection that isn’t there.
When he was ten his father took him into work for the first time, and it was then, amongst the smells of engine oil and new paint and pinewood air freshener, that Yoongi discovered his first true love.
He pored over engine diagrams, admired the easy simplicity of every tool falling into its destined purpose, got used to his clothes being stained from tuning up cars all day long.
He’d loved every minute of it, and the truth is, he still does.
Then his cousin Yijin had given him a lift down Mount Samo one day, and 14 year old Yoongi had learned that there was more than one way to soar.
He learned to drive navigating the hairpin bends of Mount Samo, and although he’s perfected the art of drifting up and down it, could do it blindfolded a hundred times over, the thrill of it has never really faded.
He’s picked up a collection of friends over the years, all of whom love the adrenaline of street racing – not knowing what’s round the corner, trusting your own reflexes and instincts to save you when you can barely see for the blood rushing in your veins.
Kim Seokjin, his oldest and closest friend, the chaebol prince who can put together a Supra’s turbo-2JZ engine almost as quickly as Yoongi himself. His sister, a corporate princess who makes Yoongi’s heart soften and the opposite happen to his cock. They’re the two people Yoongi would do anything for, not that he’d ever tell them that.
Jung Hoseok, the gifted mechanic with a heart of gold and the sunniest demeanour Yoongi’s ever been able to tolerate, creature of the night that he is.
Jeon Jungkook, the baby fuckboi of the group, a man with the looks of a god and the persona of a baby deer. Yoongi finds it hard to be anything but endeared by his earnest good nature and anything but amused by his swaggering. Maybe one day the kid will grow into the bad man he so badly wants to be, but Yoongi hopes not. He’s great the way he is.
It’s been a while since Yoongi felt lonely, in fact his life’s pretty good right about now.
And at this exact moment? It’s perfect.
Yoongi’s senses are on overdrive as he swings into a hairpin bend on Mount Samo, tires gripping tarmac sideways. His foot taps the throttle, his hand on the handbrake just in case but he doesn’t need it, he knows the terrain so well his body’s reacting on instinct.
Sideways on he can see Seokjin to his right, composed, barely breaking a sweat as his rear wheels scrape the very edge of the path, inches from the steep drop.
Yoongi catches sight of himself in his own rearview mirror, teeth bared in a feral grin as he shoots out onto the final stretch, so fast there’s nothing to see but black.
He’d normally stop, celebrate his win with a cigarette, but he’s got somewhere to be tonight.
Behind him now, Seokjin’s headlamps flicker in lieu of a goodbye.
Yoongi depresses the horn, a sharp short blast, and then he’s gone.
***
Kang Yubin’s been supplying Yoongi’s father’s garage for years, and Yoongi’s been going to him for car parts since before he knew a spark plug from a catalytic converter.
The Kang warehouse has an unassuming front in an industrial estate on the outskirts of Seoul. Yoongi parks outside the familiar glass door, can see the dim lighting filtering through the tinted glass as he approaches.
He pushes open the door, stops, nonplussed.
Instead of Kang Yubin’s steel-rimmed glasses and grey hair, he’s greeted by you.
Half your face is obscured by a black face mask, your hair up under a baseball cap, but you’re definitely not who he expected to see.
He blinks.
Your eyebrows rise.
‘Are you lost?’ you inquire, an edge to your voice that pulls him out of his surprised reaction and reminds him why he’s here.
‘I was expecting Mr Kang,’ Yoongi replies.
Coming closer to the counter he picks up on a guardedness to your posture, a weariness that you don’t bother to hide.
‘I’m his granddaughter,’ you say, brief. ‘I’m guessing you didn’t just come here to stare at me, what do you want?’
‘Spark plugs – I have a —’ Yoongi breaks off as you get up.
‘I know who you are, and I know what car you drive. Stay here and I’ll get you your stuff.’
You disappear behind a door, return in minutes with a cardboard box.
You pull a box-cutter out of a desk drawer, slit the masking tape, pull the flaps up.
‘Feel free to take a look,’ you say, looking at him.
It doesn’t take long for Yoongi to verify that they’re what he needs.
‘How do you know who I am?’ he asks, as he pays.
There’s a faint spark in your eyes, a flicker so quick he wonders if he’s mis-read it.
‘My grandfather said you were due around this time.’
You nudge your shoulder vaguely in the direction of the screen to your left, a view from the camera overlooking the front of the warehouse. ‘Not many people drive a car like that.’
You take his money, nudge the box in his direction.
‘Pleasure doing business, Min Yoongi. I’ll give my grandfather your regards.’
You’re already looking back down at your phone like you’ve dismissed him.
Yoongi picks up the box, casts another glance at you, and leaves.
He’s still thinking about you when he reaches home.
***
Yoongi’s concentrating so hard on the engine in front of him that he barely hears Seokjin approach.
‘Dinner?’ asks Seokjin, eyes flicking over the V configuration of the 8 chrome cylinders in the custom Nissan with interest.
Yoongi leans back, massages the crick in his neck from leaning over.
‘Yeah. Quick though, the client wants a rush on this.’
They exchange a look.
‘More money than sense,’ Seokjin says, critical.
‘Pays the bills,’ Yoongi counters.
They have similar opinions about rich clients who want their supercars tuned up. It’s rare that a client’s got the ability to do justice to the horsepower under the bonnet of the flashy exteriors.
Yoongi shrugs, goes to wash his hands.
‘Is your sister coming?’ he asks.
Seokjin’s still admiring the engine. ‘Not tonight. Jimin’s in town,’ he says. ‘There’s a race later, if you change your mind. I’m meeting Jungkook after dinner.’
‘Is he still sulking over Mijin?’ Yoongi asks, falling into step beside Seokjin.
There’s no need to confirm where they’re going, they always stop at a tiny restaurant run by an elderly woman who seems utterly unimpressed by their good manners but makes the best broth in town.
Seokjin rolls his eyes, but his tone is sympathetic. ‘You know how it is. People never expect him to be as soft as he really is.’
Yoongi nods. ‘Tell him if she can’t appreciate him she’s the one missing out.’
Seokjin snorts. ‘Tell him yourself, he’ll love it. Are you coming to Seulgi’s party?’
It’s rare that Yoongi goes out at night, he’s busy and he does his best work at night time, both in the workshop and on the streets, but he’d promised Seokjin he’d go.
‘Next week?’ he asks.
Seokjin nods, pushes open the door to the restaurant.
‘Yeah, don’t forget.’
***
Seulgi is a friend of Seokjin’s, they’d dated briefly, years back, but it hadn’t worked out.
She greets Seokjin enthusiastically at the door, the pink flush on her cheeks deepening as Seokjin gives her an affectionate hug.
She beams at Yoongi, and he smiles back because he’s not proof against her cheerful nature.
It’s how he became friends with Hoseok, after all.
‘Drinks, let me get you drinks,’ Seulgi cheers, leading them into her kitchen.
Seokjin’s swept away by Seulgi and her friends, he’s always been a popular guy. He shoots Yoongi a look as he’s pulled into the lounge, which Yoongi pretends not to see.
He lifts his cup to his lips, decides to go outside for a bit.
The deck outside has a few scattered people, mostly couples, some groups.
Yoongi leans against the wall, looks around idly. The throbbing bass of the music feels like a heartbeat. The night is cold and crisp, the skies clear, but there aren’t any stars visible in Seulgi’s backyard.
He lets his mind wander to his next project, restoring a classic Toyota for a friend from the circuit. He’ll need parts.
He wonders if you’ll be behind the counter when he next goes to the Kang warehouse. Then he’s straightening up, unsure if he’s manifested you into reality.
He’s never seen your full face, but he’d know your eyes anywhere.
You’re standing across the deck, looking straight at him, coat open over a dress that shows a hell of a lot more than the hoodie and sweats you had on the last time he saw you.
For the first time tonight, Yoongi feels a prickle of interest.
He’d known you’d be beautiful, there’d been something about the way you carried yourself.
You’re still looking at him.
Yoongi walks over.
‘Who’s manning the warehouse?’ he asks, when he gets close enough.
You tilt your head. ‘Are you really so concerned about my family business, Min Yoongi?’
There’s a mocking note in your voice, Yoongi finds he likes it.
‘You have the best quality parts,’ he says.
Your smile blooms over your face, making your eyes bright. ‘I knew there was a reason my grandfather liked you.’
Yoongi nods to your dress. ‘You look pretty.’
‘Thank you,’ you say. ‘You look pretty too.’
Yoongi can feel his lips curving. Are you flirting with him? Seems like you are.
He’s all for it.
You’re raising your cup now, taking a sip.
In the night time lighting, your lips glisten with moisture and whatever lipstick you’ve got on, making him wonder what they’d look like around his cock.
You eye him like you know exactly what he’s thinking.
Yoongi says, ‘Do you like cars? Want to see mine?’
***
You’ve got your legs either side of his torso, your ass bouncing in his lap, and Yoongi’s front seat’s reclined all the way to make room for you to ride him.
The lines of your beautiful body are reminiscent of a triumph of masters of Italian design. Long smooth thighs, tightening around him with every rhythmic thrust.
The curves of your breasts, bouncing right in his face.
The long line of your neck, head thrown back, the pulse in your throat fluttering as he holds your hips so he can fuck you back, fuck up into your sweet warmth.
His cock fits inside you like he was made for you, and god fucking damn, you feel so good around him he’s on a hair trigger.
Yoongi cups the back of your head, tugs you down so you’re close. Goosebumps prickle your flesh as he tells you how good you are.
Your eyes close as he kisses your bare neck, flicks his tongue against your skin.
You had been whimpering steadily as your arousal dripped down onto him, soaking his balls, pooling at the base of his cock, and as Yoongi picks up the pace he’s gratified by the hitch in your breathing.
Yoongi’s always been damn good at helping his partners find their pleasure, and he’s sure as hell not going to stop now.
Your breasts are still in his face, half out the low neck of your dress, chest heaving.
Yoongi rubs his thumb over the outline of your hardened nipple, and you cry out, muffled with your mouth against his skin but still loud enough to make his ears ring.
His balls tighten up even more as your walls flutter around him, and Yoongi would know you were coming even if you hadn’t gasped it.
God, you’re so sweet and sexy he’s lost.
He can feel your panting breaths against his neck, the weight of your warm body as it goes lax after your peak, the sweet grip of your cunt taking in everything he has to give you as he releases, a pulse of pleasure so intense it sends shockwaves through his skin.
Yoongi’s floating, and like reaching the summit of Mount Samo, he immediately wants to do it again.
You’re looking at him, lips still so swollen and pretty his spent cock gives a residual throb inside you.
‘Like my car?’ Yoongi asks. It’s stupid, but it makes you laugh and he’ll be as stupid as you like if it makes you sound like that.
Your chin lifts, and you say, ‘It’s all right.’
The flash of merriment in your eyes gives you away.
Yoongi laughs. ‘Maybe next time we can get the car started and I can actually take you somewhere.’
‘I don’t know,’ you tease. ‘Are you a good driver?’
Yoongi reaches out, tucks the lock of hair that’s fallen over your eye behind your ear.
‘Let’s find out,’ he says. ‘Where do you want to go?’
***
Yoongi’s thinking about you the next morning when he wakes up. He’d ended up taking you back to your place, where you’d kissed him sweetly at the door and bid him goodbye like a promise to see him again.
His phone rings and he’s still got you on his mind, so it takes a second for him to regroup.
‘The maknae needs help,’ Seokjin says, no preamble. ‘I’m going to swing by yours, be there in ten.’
Yoongi hangs up, wonders what the hell Jungkook’s got himself into this time.
By the time Seokjin arrives, Yoongi’s had time to bolt coffee and change, but Seokjin still raises a brow as he swings into the passenger seat.
As always, Seokjin’s impeccably dressed, dark hair swept back from his forehead like he’s going to his own fucking wedding instead of about to deal with some shit that’s going down.
Yoongi suppresses a yawn, tugs his beanie down over his brow.
‘What’s going down with JK?’ he asks.
Seokjin cuts off another car so smoothly they’re halfway down the intersection before the irritated horn blares.
‘Remember that race the other day? Jungkook beat Seungho fair and square, I was there.’
Yoongi groans. ‘The fuck. I thought we weren’t going to race that fragile asshole anymore.’
Seokjin glances in the rearview. ‘The maknae was still hurting over Mijin, I thought an easy win might make him feel better.’
‘So what’s Seungho done?’
‘Brought in the big guns,’ Seokjin says grimly. ‘Called in some guys from Hongkong. JK’s with them now.’
Now Yoongi’s fully awake. ‘Should’ve taken my car instead of this piece of shit,’ he says.
Seokjin just laughs. ‘Don’t worry about my car, Yoongi. Maybe think of a way to hide that big–ass hickey on your neck.’
‘Suck my dick,’ Yoongi says, like they’re 16 again.
‘Looks like someone already did,’ Seokjin returns.
***
Yoongi parks up outside the Kang warehouse, pushes open the door.
You look up from your phone. Your face mask is off, so Yoongi has the privilege of seeing the way your lips curve in a smile.
‘There’s been a shipment of fuel injectors,’ you say. ‘Want to take a look?’
Yoongi stops just in front of the wooden half-panel that separates you from him.
He tilts his head.
‘Yeah,’ he says. ‘Also, I took my friend’s Honda for a spin today, I’ve got a list.’
He smooths out the piece of paper he’s got folded in his pocket, places it on the counter.
You pick it up, get up. ‘I’ve got you.’
Yoongi runs a hand over the hickey over his neck. ‘I’ve been taking shit all day, about this,’ he adds.
‘Yeah?’ you ask, but you don’t seem the least bit contrite. ‘You did your share of marking, Min Yoongi.’
Yoongi asks, ‘What time do you get off?’
You’re about to answer when the door opens.
Yoongi turns and tenses immediately.
Fucking Shin Seungho.
‘You following me?’ he asks mildly.
Seungho scoffs, doesn’t deign to reply.
‘I’m collecting an order,’ he says to you.
Your face mask is back on, your face carefully blank. ‘Sure, what’s the name?’
When you go into the back to collect it Seungho turns to Yoongi.
Yoongi concentrates on the silkscreen of a cat on the wall behind the counter.
He can feel Seungho’s eyes on his face.
Just try it, fucker.
The fact was, he’d pushed Seokjin’s Honda to its limits beating Seungho’s friends today, and although the adrenaline’s ebbed, there’s a thin streak still running through his bloodstream, and he’s a spark away from igniting.
Seungho takes a step closer, and Yoongi turns to face him like he’s got all the time in the world.
You return just as Seungho opens his filthy mouth.
‘Looks like you’ve paid,’ you say, passing the box across the counter to Seungho.
You pull out the box cutter, slit the package, open it up for him to check, but don’t put it down.
‘Am I going to have trouble here, boys?’ you ask.
Seungho barely looks your way, Yoongi’s always known the man lacks vision.
‘Nah,’ Seungho says finally. He picks up the box, sneers at Yoongi.
Yoongi blanks his expression. There’s no way he’s going to start shit with Seungho in front of you.
The asshole’s not worth it.
As soon as the door closes behind Seungho you put down the box cutter.
The next words out of your mouth surprise him.
‘Shit, you’re hot when you’re mad, Yoongi.’
Yoongi stares at you, flummoxed, then he laughs.
‘Just when I’m mad?’ he asks.
You shrug. ‘Take me out on a date and I’ll tell you more.’
‘How about right now?’ Yoongi asks.
‘Yeah,’ you say. ‘Let’s go.’
***
As your grip on his hair loosens, Yoongi lifts his mouth from your cunt, swipes his mouth with the back of his hand. Helps you tug your panties back up, smooths your skirt back down over your thighs.
He notices you’ve still got his cum in the corner of your lips. As he watches, you flick your tongue out, lick delicately.
His cock stirs with interest, and you act like you know it.
‘More later?’ you ask.
‘Yeah. After I win.’
Yoongi reaches over to help you with your seatbelt, arranging it across your chest, between your breasts, securing it.
You lean forward and kiss him as the belt clicks into place.
Yoongi starts the engine, turns the heating back on because he’s noticed your hands get cold easily.
‘I can drop you off at home before the race,’ he offers. ‘Come see you after.’
‘I want to see you drive,’ you say.
Yoongi wouldn’t say it, but he’s pleased. He knows he’ll keep you safe, it’s a circuit through the city outskirts he’s done a million times, and he’s looking forward to you meeting Seokjin and Hoseok and Jungkook.
He flicks on the lights, rolls into oncoming traffic. Heads North.
By the time he pulls up to the starting line there’s the usual crowd gathered. He parks up next to Seokjin and Hoseok.
In his rearview he can see JK surrounded by people. He’s lost the sad puppy air he had for a few weeks whilst he was pining after Mijin. The kid’s going to be all right, not that Yoongi’s ever had any doubt about that.
Engines all around him are starting up, a deafening series of rumbles.
Beside him, Seokjin waves, and Hoseok smiles so brightly it’s blinding.
The flag waves, and Yoongi accelerates.
Checks on you in the rearview, and you’re as pretty as he remembers.
Min Yoongi’s spent a lot of his life looking for connection, and by his reckoning, he’s doing pretty well right about now.
Lights flash by in a blur.
Yoongi drives.

Chapter 4
Tumblr media
Here it is! I was nervous to put this out here so I hope it lives up. Yoongi realizes some things in this one but it might be a little too late. Chapter 5 should be out within a few days!
Yoongi X Female Reader. CEO/Arranged Marriage AU
Summary: You were selected to marry the wayward CEO/Billionaire/Heir, Min Yoongi. You went into it with an open mind and heart determined to try and make it work. Yoongi on the other hand had no intention of ever letting you in let alone allowing himself to fall in love with you. Slowly you start to associate the smell of cinnamon and vanilla with the feelings of hurt and sorrow.
Word Count: 3,404
Warnings: (May get updated as chapters progress): Arranged marriage, cheating/infidelity, hints of smut (Probably won’t get very explicit but we’ll see how it goes), Sexual Assault, Brief mentions of death, Reader grew up an orphan, General Angst, Swearing
Waking up with a long stretch you were more than surprised to wake up in your hotel bed. The last thing you remembered was falling asleep on the beach but you have no memory at all of walking back to the room. You figured that hotel security probably found you and thought you were just a drunk so they brought you back to the room after finding your room key on you.
Looking over to the empty space next to you memories from the night before came flooding back to you. The delicious dinner you had and the joyous company of the waiter Hoseok. The sight of Yoongi and the brunette that was all over him. How he lied and called you his sister instead of his wife. How you felt lonely and betrayed and you just wanted to wish everything of the past couple months away.
Suddenly as if your brain finally caught up you realized you were sleeping in the same bed that Yoongi and that woman most likely hooked up in and that caused your skin to crawl. You jumped out of bed like something bit you tripping over your suitcase in the process and landing on the ground with a loud thud. You’d never been so happy for a vacation to end before. Getting in the shower you scrubbed your skin so hard you’re pretty sure you did damage but you wanted to scrub until you no longer felt dirty. After packing up your few belongings you walked out to the living room of your suite. Yoongi was already sitting at the dining table. You scanned his body for any new marks but nothing was visible even with the v neck tshirt he was wearing that caused you to internally scold yourself for staring at him a little too long. When he finally noticed you standing there he pointed to the seat across from him,
“It’s a chai tea. Jimin said you don’t really like coffee so I didn’t know what else to get.“
Sitting down at the table you noticed that the selection of food was all of your favorites. Chocolate chip muffins, a bacon croissant sandwich, crispy potato hash, strawberries, pineapple, a glass of fresh squeezed orange juice. Yoongi cleared his throat, “Jimin also told me some of your favorite foods so I had them bring what they could.” Unable to hide the shy smile nodded before taking a bite.
“Umm do you know when or how I got back to the room last night? I don’t remember walking back so I wanted to go thank whomever brought me here?”, you awkwardly chuckled trying to break the silence but also piece together last night. He took another sip of his coffee, “Yeah actually I carried you back to the room and put you in the bed.” His statement caused you to choke on the strawberry you had just popped in your mouth, “I’m sorry you did what?”
He repeated, “I saw you laying on the beach so I went down and brought you back and put you in the bed.” You looked at him with wide eyes, words escaping you. You ate another strawberry trying to stuff your mouth before saying something you’d regret.
“Why is your skin so red? It looks like you washed yourself with sandpaper?”, he asked looking you over.
“Oh when I woke up in the bed I felt kind of gross, you know since you hooked up with some woman in there, and I’m sure the sheets weren’t changed afterwards. Guess I got a little carried away.”
Yoongi nodded before taking another sip of coffee, “I didn’t hook up with her.”
You laughed, “Come on Yoongi. I saw the two of you. If you didn’t hook up then what did you do with her in here? I know you guys didn’t play a game unless it included clothes coming off.”
“I told her to leave.”
“What?”
“I told her to leave.”
“I know I heard you the first time but why?”
He returned back to his bagel without a word and you rolled your eyes, “Okay fine. Don’t tell me. I don’t really care at this point anyways.”
Yoongi let out a long deep sigh, “After a while I realized that you didn’t come in the room with us. I didn’t know where you’d be able to go at that time of the night and I didn’t think it was a good idea for you to be wandering around by yourself so I told the woman that we should continue somewhere else and that I’d book us another room so you could come back to the room. So when I went to grab my wallet on the table next to the balcony I saw you laying out on the beach. It looked like you were sleeping and I didn’t want you to stay out there like that because it was late and it’s dangerous and you might get eaten by a crab or something so I told her that we were done and that she needed to leave. I walked down to the beach to bring you back. I was gonna wake you up but you looked really comfy so I just carried you here and put you in the bed and went to sleep myself.”
You were dumbfounded at his story. Your face was full of disbelief. Taking a bite of your muffin you nodded, “Oh well uh thank you for bringing me back.”
He nodded.
“Also if there was a crab out there big enough to eat me I think we’d have some major problems.”
He rolled his eyes before he walked off to the bathroom trying to hide the blush creeping down his neck. You continued to eat but confusion plagued your mind. You just can’t figure him out. One minute he’s hooking up with some random woman on your honeymoon and the next he’s going out of his way for you and trying to be kind, almost seeming kind of protective. You really weren’t sure what to make of him but you wished he would just make up his mind because you’re starting to get whiplash from the back and forth.
The flight back home was uneventful. The two of you sat in comfortable silence other than the occasional statement. Yoongi sipped on a whiskey and you even decided to get wild and sip on some champagne.
The car pulled up to an extravagant looking building confusing you as to where you were and then it hit you. You had to move into Yoongi’s place and of course he lived in the most luxurious building in the whole country. You thought spending a week in the same hotel room was awkward so you had no clue how living together was going to go but part of you hoped that maybe the two of you can finally work on some things in your relationship.
Once in Yoongi’s penthouse he gave you a very brief tour. The home was incredible. Jimins apartment was nice but didn’t compare to the penthouse. Floor to ceiling windows that looked out over the city. All the furniture appears to be high end and high quality. You’re pretty sure your entire apartment back home could’ve fit in the kitchen alone.
Thankfully Jimin was able help you coordinate with the movers to have your stuff shipped over. You didn’t have to bring much since Yoongi already had a fully furnished home. You just brought some clothes and a few sentimental items.
“My office is the third door on the right. If I work from home I’ll be in there but please keep interruptions to a minimum and only if necessary. My bedroom is the second door on the left. Don’t go in there. Your room is right here.”, he said opening the door. You were thoroughly confused. “Wait we have separate bedrooms?” Yoongi sighed irritation evident again, “I have the space so I figured why should we have to share a room. This way we can stay out of each others way.”
When you saw his eyebrow move up you knew what he meant by that. You sat on the edge of the bed staring down at the floor. Sure it was a nice room and bigger than any room you’d ever had before with it even having a private bathroom. But that didn’t stop the loneliness and hurt that you felt. You were more like a roommate or even worse, a nuisance that that he just wanted to shove away so he didn’t have to look at you.
That thought made you chuckle though, “Good thing you don’t have any staircases in this place or I’d be stuck sleeping under there I guess.”
Yoongi looked at you with eyebrows furrowed.
“What you’ve never seen Harry Potter before?”
“Do I seem like the kind of guy that watches Harry Potter?”
“I guess not but you sure have a lot in common with a certain he who shall not be named.”
“What are talking about?”
“Nothing never mind.”
Yoongi noticed your change in demeanor. Stuffing this hands into his pockets he spoke, “You’re welcome to paint or decorate the room however you want.” You met him with continued silence. He continued, “I have to go into the office to catch up on things. I ordered some groceries to be delivered later. Jimin told me about you liking to have a mug of warm milk before bed and I was out so that’ll be here later along with some other things for you.” You nodded in acknowledgment whispering a thank you before he turned and shut the door behind him.
Due to your small amount of belongings you were unpacked in no time. Luckily you just put your last piece of clothing away when the doorbell rang signaling the grocery order arrived. Taking the bags from the delivery driver and thanking him profusely you set to work putting everything away while also familiarizing yourself with the kitchen. As you pulled out the groceries you chuckled a little more each time. There was the milk just like Yoongi had promised. There was also a large package of chocolate chip muffins, multiple containers of strawberries, your favorite ramen, some cookies, a box of popcorn, and cookie dough ice cream. All of your favorites. You made a mental note to thank Jimin and maybe also send a thank you to Yoongi depending on how he was acting later.
Over the next few weeks things between Yoongi and yourself didn’t improve much. The two of you barely spoke other than the occasional question or statement and that was if you even saw each other at all. You spent most of your time in your bedroom while he claimed to be at the office or other work functions. The one time you did venture out and sat in the living room your movie was interrupted when Yoongi came strolling in with a woman in each arm heading towards his bedroom after giving you a quick nod like you were just one of his friends who he was trying to brag to about his “score”. Suddenly not feeling so well you turned off the tv and got in bed. It didn’t take long to hear moans and a headboard banging against the wall from down the hallway so you grabbed your headphones hoping to block out the sound and fall asleep as quickly as you could.
The next morning Yoongi and his new friends were long gone by the time you got up. You set out on checking off some things on your to do list that you created. One thing you wanted to work on was learning Korean. You knew a few phrases thanks to Jimin but now that you were living in Korea you thought it would be a good idea to get to know the language in a proficient way so you started calling around to different companies trying to find someone to give you lessons.
That’s how a few weeks later you were sitting at your kitchen table with the teacher the company you chose had sent you. Kim Namjoon was a handsome man no doubt about it. He was tall with broad shoulders. The cutest dimples you’d ever seen. His glasses framed his face perfectly and they looked great with his caramel colored hair. His cologne the complete opposite of Yoongi’s cinnamon and vanilla scent. Namjoon smelled light and citrusy. It was clean and refreshing and somehow managed to take the stress away from you. The way he spoke was so elegant. It was nice being able to have a full conversation with someone. You loved Jimin but you guys mostly just goofed off and went on rants to each other and trying to have a conversation with Yoongi was like pulling teeth. You hadn’t realized just how lonely you were before Namjoon came into your life. This was only your fifth session and you found yourself really excited that you were getting to spend some time with him again.
“I don’t know Y/N. How will baking cookies help you learn a language?”, he sighed trying mask his playfulness. You giggled, “Well I could learn all the names for the ingredients and I can try to give YOU the instructions in Korean while you make the cookies.” He sat there and pondered before you continued, “Come on Joonie. Back home I’m famous for my double chocolate chip cookies and I know you can’t say no to chocolate.” Finally he ran a hand through his hair, “Alright but you have to tell me each step in Korean.” Excitedly you jumped up running around to collect the ingredients.
Watching Namjoon try to make cookies was one of the funniest things you’ve ever witnessed. He told you he had no business being in the kitchen but you didn’t think it was this bad. He was currently trying to mix in the flour to the chocolate batter and you couldn’t stop laughing as you watched half the flour fall onto the counter which covered him in a puff of white smoke.
“Here Namjoon let me help you.”, you said placing your hand on his much larger one so you could guide his movements to slowly mix in the flour. You looked up to see him smiling down at you dimples on full display. His lips looked soft and warm. The thought of kissing him definitely crossed your mind. Yoongi hadn’t kissed you since your wedding day and the most physical he’s got with you was carrying you to the room from the beach and to be honest you wouldn’t let him touch you anyways without seeing some test results first to make sure he didn’t pick up anything along the way. The ring on your finger caught your eye before you could act on your thoughts. Yoongi may be an insufferable adulterer but that didn’t mean you had to be one too. Two wrongs don’t make a right in your book but damn if Namjoon wasn’t making you think about doing all the wrongs regardless of the rights.
You were so focused on trying to explain to Namjoon how to add the chocolate chips in Korean that neither of you noticed Yoongi walk in. He watched you gently grasp Namjoon’s hand while smiling up at him. You looked so cute in your daisy printed apron. Namjoon said something that made you burst into a fit of laughter. Yoongi felt a pain in his chest. He had never heard you laugh like that before. You looked so happy with Namjoon. He knew that was all his fault so he didn’t understand where this jealous feeling was coming from and why his brain and heart were betraying him.
He watched you reach up to wipe away some of the chocolate that had gotten onto Namjoon’s cheek. The two of you definitely sharing a moment and Yoongi felt his heart rate increase. He quickly pushed that feeling aside as he had no right. He had slept with multiple women since you got married and he was the one that told you that you were welcome to see other people so if you took Namjoon to your bedroom right now he had nothing to say.
He thought back to that night he carried you back from the beach. You looked so adorable with your lips slightly parted, your skin a beautiful hue of pink thanks to the sun, the way you wrapped your arms around his neck nuzzling your face into his shoulder. At that moment on the beach he realized how harsh he had been and that you didn’t deserve any of it. It’s not your fault that at 19 years old another woman ripped his heart out and stomped on it and then lit it on fire and he decided he’d never allow himself to go through that ever again instead choosing to be the breaker of hearts. The night after he carried you to the hotel while laying in the bed next to you he made a decision that he’d change if not for him then at least for you. Obviously, he failed once he returned to Seoul and he was introduced to the two female interns that he brought back home while you sat innocently watching a movie waiting for him. He knew he was a coward. He was too scared of getting his heart broken again that he decided to continuously break yours and now it looks like you found someone to help mend it and who was he to take that away from you. Deciding he saw enough he rushed off to his bedroom before you could find him standing there.
Once the cookies were baked and cooled you packaged most of them up before handing the box to Namjoon.
“Here take these. There’s no way I’m going to eat them all.”
He smiled but shook his head, “What about Yoongi? I’m sure he’d love to have some of these. I don’t want to take them all.”
You chuckled, “Yoongi never eats anything I cook. He’s probably worried I’ll try and poison him or something so I could get out of this marriage.”
Namjoon laughed at your joke and then confirmed again he was okay to take all the cookies before thanking you and heading out the door. You did a quick clean up of the kitchen before heating up a mug of warm milk and grabbing the two cookies you had saved and headed off to your room for the evening after shutting off the light.
Later that night you woke up hearing a loud bang come from the kitchen. It sounded just like a cabinet closing so you assumed it was Yoongi making himself something to eat. Not being concerned you turned over and went right back to sleep.
Yoongi however, had checked every cabinet and drawer looking for the cookies you made. He always snuck little tastes of your food in the middle of the night when you weren’t there even though you always offered him food each time. Part of him being too stubborn and not wanting to give you the satisfaction of eating the food you cooked and another part of him just felt like he didn’t deserve your food and was too embarrassed to eat it in front of you. He had heard all about your famous cookies from Jimin and he was really looking forward to trying one when he saw you and Namjoon baking them. Giving up he turned to shut off the light and that’s when a little baggy on the counter caught his eye. Inside a perfect looking double chocolate chip cookie with a stick note attached to the bag saying ‘Yoongi’. He took one bite and was in heaven. He thought back to you and Namjoon looking so happy together. Like a real couple. How you smiled and gently touched him. How Namjoon made you laugh. Yoongi finished off the cookie but he was no longer enthralled by the chocolate goodness. Suddenly the cookie tasted like a mix of heaven with a pinch of jealousy and a dash of regret.

“I guess sometimes you have to lie to find the truth...” – Scott Westerfeld....
She gasped breathlessly and gripped the black sheets in pleasure, “Yoongi! Please-Oh!” He plunged a finger deep inside of her after teasing her clit with his tongue for what seemed like hours.
“Whiney little slut.” He spat as he smacked her thigh roughly and made his way back to her clit.
“Another one!~” Her pleading echoed through the dark room and her fingers were tangled in his long dark locks. He chuckled softly and added another finger, pulling his tongue off of her clit to replace it with his thumb. He glanced outside of his window for a quick second to see the moon shining so bright against his pale skin. He should be used to the brightness of the moon but he isn’t.
“Come for me. Hurry up, slut.”
She glanced down at Yoongi and couldn’t stop herself from moaning when she saw his smirk. She arched her back and he felt her clenching around his fingers. Yoongi kept pumping his fingers and leaned down to lick at her clit. Before they could continue, Yoongi’s phone started ringing. He rolled his eyes and got off the bed leaving his hook up in a daze. He picked up his phone in annoyance, “What?”
“Dude, where are you? We have that project due at midnight.”
Yoongi cursed under his breath and glanced at the girl on his bed. She was still in a daze and glanced back down at the floor, “Alright, I’ll be there in ten minutes.”
“You fucking better be.”
Yoongi picked up his shirt off the floor and put it on. He picked up the girl's dress and tossed it to her causing her to snap out of her daze, “Are you leaving?”
“What does it look like?”
The girl scoffed and shook her head, “After fucking me, you're just going to leave me?”
“That was the plan. You can have water from the fridge and make sure you lock the door when you leave.”
Yoongi picked up his motorcycle keys and waved at the girl who was looking at him with a shocked expression. He was down the hallway when he heard the girl yell, “Min Yoongi! You are the worst man on this planet and I hope you get what's coming to you!”
Yoongi chuckled at that and put his boots on, “Not the first time I heard that one.”
Yoongi left his apartment, well it wasn’t really his apartment. It was his dad’s property that he used once in a while. That was the benefit of having a rich dad who felt bad for neglecting you. He always wanted to try with him and Yoongi wasn’t going to ignore the gifts or benefits. He put his helmet on and drove to Namjoon’s apartment.
Yoongi met Namjoon by accident during grade school. They were partnered up for a poetry project and since then the two have been together. Namjoon had always understood Yoongi, regardless of how rough around the edges he was. Namjoon understood him. Namjoon was the first person he came to when his parents were getting divorced and he was the first person he went to when he got accepted to his dream college. Best friends forever they said.
The drive there was quick and he was welcomed with the familiar smell of lavender when he closed the door. Namjoon always liked the smell of lavender. He said it calmed him down and it had benefits. Some shit like that. Yoongi placed his helmet on the table towards the front as he took off his jacket. He cracked his neck when he felt a presence.
He turned his head and saw Y/N standing there holding a tray of sweets. Y/N was three years younger than Namjoon and four years his junior. He saw her as a piece of glass. She was so sharp but one push and boom shattered. They didn’t really talk that much because she was always busy with her friends or school. He also didn’t know what to say to her. Like at this moment.
She gave him a small smile and glanced down at the tray, “I got some pastries for your study session. I also started the coffee machine, you should have some soon. Hopefully.”
Yoongi nodded his head and put his hair in a small ponytail, “Thanks Y/N.”
He glanced at her and saw that she was in a simple white loungewear set with matching slippers. Her hair was braided and out of her face giving him the perfect view of her eyes. When they were younger, her eyes were like a doe. So wide and filled with hope. Now that she was older they matured with the sparkle of hope that never truly left her. Hoping that life wouldn’t hurt her and everything would turn out right for her. She had all the tools to make that happen and Yoongi knew this.
Y/N glanced over her shoulder and then back at him, “Namjoon is waiting. He’s grumpy today, be patient with him.”
“Is it because of his girl?”
“Heejin-unnie? Did they get into a fight?”
Yoongi let out a small chuckle and realized that Y/N had no idea about her brother’s love life, “I guess you can say that.”
Y/N tilted her head at him, “Should I be worried? I just want to make sure he’s alright.”
Yoongi shook his head at this and put his hands in his pants pocket, “He’s alright. He’s a big boy.”
Y/N nodded her head and smiled at him, “Plus, he has you in his life. Come in before Namjoon gets angrier.”
Yoongi wanted to ask her what she meant by that but she walked away from him. There were moments where Yoongi found himself wanting to talk to her but he always stopped himself. She was always there but instead of being a wallflower, he saw her as the charming painting that could brighten up any house. Only a few can understand art and he was glad he could.
He sighed to himself and walked into the living room to see Namjoon with his papers all over the place. His laptop shines bright against his face and the multiple energy drink cans can cause any doctor to write a note. Yoongi sighed and shook his head at his friend, “Dude, are you good?”
Namjoon looked up from his laptop and glared at him, “I told you to be here an hour ago! You were just sleeping with some random chick again, right?”
“I lost track of time.” He glanced up and saw Y/N standing by the doorway with a frown on her face. A frown on her face didn’t look right, he wanted to see her smiling with her eyes sparkling. He bit his lip and looked away from her, again what would he say to her?
“Of course, you lost track...sorry, I’m just stressed with this project and-”
“Heejin.”
Namjoon sighed and nodded his head, “Yeah, let’s just focus on the project.”
Yoongi nodded his head and sat on the ground next to Namjoon. He glanced into the kitchen to see Y/N pouring coffee into a mug. He watched her push some hair back and he smiled to himself when he saw her pearl earring shining away. It matched her perfectly. She brought two mugs out and placed them on the table. She smiled at Yoongi and pushed the mug towards him, “Just like how you like it.”
“Americano?”
“Of course, well...I added something to it. It’s my favorite sweetener. I hope you like it.”
Yoongi picked up the cup and brought it up to his lips. The dark liquid went down his throat and the taste of brown sugar became the main focus. It was good, it wasn’t too sweet. It was perfect. Of course, she liked brown sugar, it made sense for her. He put the mug down and saw her looking at him in anticipation. He held back a chuckle and nodded his head, “It’s good.”
She smiled and looked at her brother, “Make sure you drink your coffee. Don’t stay up too late.”
“I won’t Y/N. Go get some sleep, you have that test in the morning.”
She nodded her head and she looked at Yoongi, “Goodnight.”
Yoongi took another sip and nodded his head at her, “Goodnight.”
He watched her leave the living room and before she went up the stairs, she glanced at him. She waved at him but he didn’t return it. He just smiled at her and he hoped that was enough for her. He listened to her footsteps until he heard her door closed. He could easily map out her room, he's always at Namjoon’s apartment.
He turned towards Namjoon who was typing away and he sighed, “Dude, we just needed one more part. Why are you so stressed?”
“I wanted to add more things.”
Yoongi raised his eyebrow at this and shook his head, “Professor Lee said it was perfect, what more can you do?”
“Make it more perfect, start reading.”
Yoongi rolled his eyes at this, It’s going to be a long night.
His eyes fluttered open when the smell of cinnamon hit his nose. He let out a low groan and rubbed his eyes. He sat up and realized he fell asleep on the floor. He glanced at the couch to see Namjoon snoring with the book covering his face. He took his phone off the charger and saw it was seven in the morning. He let out another groan but his eyes landed on the kitchen.
Y/N had her hair up in a ponytail pouring oatmeal into a bowl. He saw the soft cotton cream sweater dress that made her look so small. He slowly got up and walked towards the kitchen. He leaned against the door frame and saw her washing the dishes she used. He couldn’t help but look her up and down. This was different though. He wasn’t looking at her as a quick hook-up, he was admiring the beautiful person that he had known his whole life.
“Good morning Yoongi. I made you a bowl of oatmeal.”
He quickly snapped out of his stare and gave her an awkward smile, “Thanks.” He walked into the kitchen to see the bowl of oatmeal with berries and cinnamon on top. He glanced next to the bow to see a tangerine and let out a small laugh, “Is that for you?”
“No, it’s for you. I know it's your favorite.”
“Thanks, Y/N.”
“No problem...I’m sorry I woke you up.”
He turned towards her to see her leaning against the sink with a frown. He shook his head as he started to peel the tangerine, “No, I woke up because my ass was hurting from the floor.”
She let out a small laugh and shook her head, “Did you guys finish the project?”
“Yeah, but Namjoon wanted to do extra credit.” This is the most I’ve spoken to her in a while...
“Of course he did.”
Yoongi took a slice of the tangerine and handed it towards her, “Here.”
She glanced at the slice and then back at him, “Thank you...I have to go to class.”
He nodded his head and placed the tangerine in her hand. He felt the softness of her palm and the faint lines. It was a feeling he wasn’t used to but he liked it. Y/N took the tangerine and placed it in her mouth. She let out a small laugh and smiled, “It’s kinda sour. Bye, Yoongi.”
She waved at Yoongi and headed towards the door with Yoongi watching her. He saw the way her hair bounced with each step she took and saw a big white scrunchie holding her hair. He continued to watch her until the wall made her disappear and he heard the door closed. He sighed and leaned against the counter staring at the ceiling, Fuck.

“Happy birthday, Y/N.”
She smiled at Yoongi and accepted the present. It was Y/N’s birthday party and she invited all her friends over (which wasn’t a lot). Yoongi was kind of shocked that he was invited but then he remembered he was her brother’s best friend. It made sense for him to be there. Every year Namjoon tried making Y/N’s birthday bigger, it was the least he could do since it was just them. Ever since their parents passed away, Namjoon tried his best to make everything perfect for her.
She glanced down at the present and then back at him, “Thank you. Can I have a guess?”
“No, that’s why you open it.”
She rolled her eyes at him and set the box on the table with the other ones, “Thank you, do you want some cake or-”
“Y/N, it’s your birthday. You don’t have to serve me anything.”
“But I want to...especially if it's you.”
They stared at each other until she broke it. Glancing down at the floor and he was glad she broke it. He didn’t know what he would do if she continued to look at him like that. She looked back at him and went to say something but Namjoon entered the room.
“Neh, Y/N. Your friends want to do shots.”
Y/N nodded her head but she didn’t break her gaze. Yoongi let out a small cough and glanced down at his shoes, “Namjoon, you got beer?”
“Of course I do. Y/N likes those fruity drinks.”
Y/N scoffed and turned towards her brother, “You know, you drink them too.”
“Rarely.”
She rolled her eyes and went towards the kitchen while Namjoon laughed at her. Namjoon gave a bro hug to Yoongi and gave him a smile, “Thanks for coming over.”
“No problem. It’s wild that she’s twenty-four.”
Namjoon glanced over his shoulder and smiled seeing his sister laughing loudly with her friends, “Don’t remind me. What did you get her?”
“It’s not for you. Why would I tell you?”
“So fucking annoying. Let’s get some beer.”
They walked into the backyard and picked some beer out of the cooler. They sat in the chairs and stared at the sky together. Namjoon took a sip and sighed, “It’s been six years since our parents passed.”
Yoongi nodded his head and watched the stars twinkling, “They’re always here. They would be proud of you.”
“You think so?”
“Yeah, studying to become a doctor and taking care of his little sister. Who wouldn’t be proud?”
Namjoon let out a small chuckle and shrugged his shoulders. He placed the beer next to him and looked at the sky, “Sometimes I wonder if I made the right decisions…but then I see Y/N smiling..and it makes the questions fade away.”
Yoongi smiled at this and glanced at Namjoon, “She loves you. You're her everything.”
“I wouldn’t say everything…”
The back door opened and they turned around to see Y/N with a wide smile. She walked towards Yoongi and leaned down, placing a kiss on his cheek, “I love it…thank you.”
“Yeah…”
She ran back in and he watched with a smile on his face. Namjoon raised his eyebrow and glanced at Yoongi, “What did you get her?”
“A mini vinyl player with her favorite songs.”
“Damn, that's a good gift. I just got her that biology book she wanted.”
“I knew she liked music...I didn’t want to get her something that was school-related so...yeah.”
It was later that night and everyone went home while Yoongi was crashing on the couch. He went up the stairs to go to the bathroom but before he entered he heard a soft melody. He glanced at Y/N’s door to see the door cracked open. He slowly walked towards the door and smiled at the sight before him. Y/N fell asleep with the mini vinyl playing the familiar melody. He quietly walked into her room and glanced down at her face.
The moon was highlighting her features and her hair framed her face perfectly. Sure, she had drool on her chin but Yoongi didn’t care. It was Y/N, that's what matters. He pulled the blanket up to cover her but he felt a hand on his wrist. He slowly looked up to see Y/N giving him a sleepy smile, “Hey...”
He let out a small cough and nodded his head, “Hey...”
“I really liked your gift, it was my favorite...thank you.”
“I’m glad you liked it. Did you have a good birthday?”
She snuggled closer to her pillow and let out a small groan, “I did...You made it better you know.”
He raised his eyebrow and looked at her, “How?”
“Secret.”
He chuckled and carefully picked up the mini vinyl player. He placed it on her desk and turned back to see her eyes closed. He smiled to himself and pushed some hair back, “Happy birthday, Y/N.”
✦ . ⁺ . ✦ . ⁺ . ✦
Yoongi sat in the club with all his friends around him. Namjoon just recently went on a break from his girl and Jungkook just wanted to go out. It was a great excuse to go out. It’s been a week since he spoke to Y/N. Sure he’s seen her around campus but he didn’t speak to her. He wanted to, but it was awkward for him to do so.
He smashed his cigarette in the ashtray and leaned back against the dark purple couch. He cracked his neck and watched Jungkook flirt with a senior girl and Taehyung doing shots with a group of people. This is how the night usually goes. Yoongi stood up and leaned towards Hoseok, “I’m going to the bathroom, watch Namjoon real quick.”
“He’ll be fine-”
“He’s getting drunk. Watch him.”
“Okay.”
Yoongi walked away with his hands in his pockets. He looked around and saw everyone getting drunk. He was sure someone was fucking on the dance floor. He went into the hallway to the bathroom but stopped when he heard a familiar voice. The need to go to the bathroom left him and pure anger took over.
“Jun, leave me alone.”
“I want you, Y/N. If we fucked once we can fucked again.”
Yoongi’s eyebrows furrowed and walked towards the exit to see Y/N hugging herself. Clearly looking uncomfortable. Yoongi glared and walked towards them with anger in each step. He pushed Jun and stood in front of Y/N, “She said leave. You better leave.”
Jun looked at Yoongi with wide eyes, “Yo-Yoongi!?”
“Yeah, you know my name. Now get the fuck out before I force you. Leave.”
Jun glanced at Y/N and then back at Yoongi, “Fine, this isn’t over yet, Y/N.”
Yoongi watched him leave and he sighed. He turned around to see Y/N avoiding his eyes, “Are you alright, Y/N?” She nodded her head and rubbed her arm in a nervous manner. Yoongi sighed and brought her into a tight hug as he rubbed her back, “It’s okay. I’ll protect you.”
“I’m sorry...”
“Don’t be sorry, it's his fault. What are you doing here?”
Yoongi let her go and Y/N leaned against the wall with a frown, “Isabella broke up with her boyfriend...we decided to come here to cheer her up.”
Yoongi nodded his head and looked around, “Do you want to go home or stay?”
“I would like to go home...I was going to call a-”
“I’m taking you home. I want to make sure you get home safely.”
Y/N looked up and gave him a small smile, “Thank you Yoongi...let me get my things real quick.”
“Do you want me to go with you?”
“No, I’ll be fine. It’s literally right there, it won’t be long.”
“I’ll be waiting here for you.”
He watched her walk away and he noticed the simple short black dress she was in. It showed off her figure perfectly and he couldn’t help himself from biting his lip. He quickly looked away and shook his head, disappointed in himself that he looked at Y/N like that. Especially what just happened. He wasn’t better than that guy.
“Yoongi are you alright?”
He looked back to see Y/N with worry in her eyes, “I was just thinking...”
“Thinking is dangerous.”
“I should know. Are you ready?”
She nodded her head and walked towards him with this soft aura around her, “Thank you for doing this.”
“No problem.”
The two walked in the night with stars and street lights guiding their way. The leaves underneath them remember their footwear and the wind pushing them forward. He glanced to his side to see her shivering a bit. He quickly took off his jacket and tapped her arm, “Take it.”
She glanced at the leather jacket and then at his face, “You’ll get cold though.”
“I’ll be fine. You won’t though.”
She let out a small laugh and shook her head, “Very confident, Yoongi.”
“Have to be.” Especially around you.
He gently draped his jacket around her shoulders and he watched her snuggle into it, “It’s very warm. A good contrast from this cold.”
“It’s fall. What did you expect?”
“Touchee.”
The two continued to walk on the sidewalk and the winds kept pushing him towards her. He stood his ground against it but that didn’t stop him from glancing at her. They stopped when he was in front of his car and he opened the door for her, “Here.”
“Yoongi, thank you again for this.”
“Stop saying thank you, it's weird.”
She shrugged her shoulders and entered his car but Yoongi placed his hand on top of her head to make sure she didn’t hit it. She glanced at him but he ignored it. He closed the door and let out a deep sigh with his eyes closed before he headed to his side. He started the car and the drive was filled with stolen glances.
During the halfway point, curiosity killed the cat, “So...why was that Jun dude bothering you?”
She glanced away from the window to give him her full attention, “I slept with him once and I said never again.”
“Was he that bad?”
She rolled her eyes and shook her head, “No, I just felt lonely and it wasn’t right to do that to someone. Even if they're horrible like Jun.”
“You're too nice.”
“You’re not the first person that told me that. Why were you at the club?”
He wasn’t sure if he should outed Namjoon so he just shrugged his shoulders, “It was a Saturday. Nothing else to do.”
She nodded her head and glanced back out the window, “You go to the club often?”
“Eh...it depends.”
“That doesn’t sound fun...then again that’s just me.”
It’s not fun but I do it because I’m lonely too...
He stopped the car in front of the familiar yellow paint and unlocked the doors, “There you are.”
She smiled and handed him back his jacket, “I appreciate this...don’t tell Namjoon what happened tonight?”
“Sure.”
She got out of the car and he followed. He leaned against his door and watched her go up to the door. She glanced over her shoulder and he thought it was funny to see her confused, “Why are you still here?”
“I want to make sure you get in.”
She stared at him for a second longer and it made him feel warm but he pushed it down. She unlocked the door and turned towards him. He waved at him and they didn't break eye contact until she closed the door. He ran his fingers through his hair and took out a cigarette. He watched the smoke go up into the dark sky to touch the stars. He wondered if the stars understood his feelings at this moment. He watched one of the stars twinkle and he shook his head looking down at the pavement. That would be a yes. The next step was just going home and that’s when the sky decided to cry.
✦ . ⁺ . ✦ . ⁺ . ✦
“Yoongi, why did you do it?”
Yoongi didn’t say anything and continued to watch Y/N patching his hands as he sat on the nurse's bed. Y/N was annoyed with Yoongi and it was clear to him. Yoongi hated that she was annoyed with him but this was different. Yoongi hissed in pain and he watched her roll her eyes, “Y/N-”
“No, Yoongi. Why do you put yourself in harm's way all the time?”
Yoongi and Namjoon were walking to their class. It was a simple day, art and music. Yoongi’s favorite classes. Seokjin came out of nowhere and was out of breath looking at them with wide eyes. Yoongi glanced at him and then at Namjoon with a confused face, “Dude are you good?”
“Y/N needs help.”
Yoongi’s eyes widened at this and he dropped his bag in a rush, “Where?”
“Lunch-”
Yoongi didn’t let him finish his sentence and he ran towards the lunch court. He felt eyes on him but they didn’t matter. He slammed open the door and ran towards the group of people in the middle of the room. He pushed people out of the way to see Jun yelling at Y/N who was frightened. He didn’t even know why Jun was yelling at her but he didn’t care. Y/N was scared. That’s all he saw.
He pushed Jun to the floor and he started to punch Jun with all his strength. All his anger came forward and Jun was going to regret it, “I told you to stay away from her!” He kept at it until he felt a soft touch on his shoulder. He stopped and slowly turned around to see Y/N with tears going down her face. He shot up and went straight towards her, “Y/N are you okay?”
She didn’t say anything and slowly picked his hand up to analyze them. She frowned, “You’re hurt...let me fix you up.”
She grabbed his wrist and walked out of the lunch court with pure silence following them. The silence was killing Yoongi. He was so used to hearing her voice lately that the silence was hurting him now. He would do anything to hear her voice, mad or happy.
Yoongi shrugged his shoulders and looked away from her gaze. She shook her head at this and put the final bandage on his finger, “People care about you-”
“I don’t care about what others think.”
She looked up and stared into his eyes (it felt like he could melt from the intensity), “Fine. I care about you Yoongi. Every time I hear you got into a fight, I worry for you. You have to know I care about you.”
“Y/N-”
“Yoongi, I care about you so much...can’t you believe me? I care about you.” Yoongi had heard his father say he cared about him shit, he heard Namjoon say it to him but this right here was different. The way that she was looking at him was something he had never experienced before. She reached over to cup his face and he flinched a little at the sudden touch. He glanced at her hands and then at her face with a confused look. She licked her lips and took a deep breath. She leaned forward to take his face into her hands and she closed her eyes, gently kissing him.
His mind went blank at her lips. He stood there unresponsive staring at her face now that she was so close. It was clear that she wasn’t giving up because she stayed kissing his lips. After a moment to comprehend, he closed his eyes and started kissing back.
Her hands brushed along his biceps and she wrapped her arms around his neck to pull him closer. He groaned at the feeling and of having her pressed against him. He slowly brought her down on her back with the soft white cotton giving her comfort. He rolled on top of her and he didn’t want this moment to end. Without thinking he brushed his tongue against her lips and he felt her smile. She opened her mouth to let him roam around her mouth as she brought her hands against his chest and he started to kiss his neck, “Yoongi...”
He loved this feeling but deep down he knew this was wrong. This was Namjoon’s little sister. His everything and he was clear that she was off limits. He couldn’t love her. How could a heart like hers like him? This couldn’t happen...she deserved better.
“Shit.” He pulled away, getting off of her. As he sat on the edge of the bed with his jaw tense. She frowned at this and sat up with a worried expression, “Yoongi? Are you okay?”
The door opened and Y/N stood up quickly to see Namjoon coming in with a cold soda in his hand. He glanced at Yoongi and frowned, “Dude, you alright? I heard you were fighting Jun...he deserved it.”
Yoongi looked up at Namjoon and stayed silent. He didn’t know what to say to him. He was just kissing his little sister. How could he do that? He felt his hand being pried open and felt two small objects in his palm. He glanced down to see two motrin. He looked up to see Y/N giving him a small smile, “That should help. I’m going to the library, get better.”
He watches her give him a final smile and gives Namjoon a small rub of a shoulder. He looked away and listened to the door closing. Namjoon looked down at his hands and shook his head, “Did Y/N patch you up?”
“Yeah...”
“Thank you for beating the crap out of him. No one messes with my sister and gets away from it.”
“Yeah...”
That night Yoongi found himself at the club alone with a whiskey in his hand. His mind kept going back to the kiss. That kiss made his heart beat so fast and his pale skin turned red. It made him feel and he knew having feelings, especially these ones are only trouble. He chugged his whiskey and ran his fingers through his hair roughly. The dim lights of the club helped his hazed out mind but he knew it wasn’t enough.
He felt a touch on his arm and he glanced to see a girl looking at him. It was a look he was used to and he knew it would help him right now, “Hey Yoongi.”
“Hey....”
She leaned towards him and the smell of alcohol made him want to get sick. She gave him a smile with a head tilt, “I’m Sarah. We have music class together.”
“That’s cool.”
She placed her hand on top of his and winked at him, “Do you want to leave here?”
“Sure.”
She stood up from the chair and Yoongi followed her out of the club. She kept talking about something but Yoongi wasn’t really paying attention to her. His mind kept going back to how Y/N looked at him. They went inside her car and they started to kiss. The kiss couldn’t even come close to the kiss he had with Y/N. This kiss was filled with loneliness and with Y/N it was liquid fire.
He watched her take off her top and he was thankful the light from outside was covering her. The feeling of guilt was eating at him but he had to let Y/N go. This was Namjoon’s little sister. She didn’t deserve him. Why did this hurt so much?
He grabs a tit and a moan echoes through the empty car. He felt her fingers going through his hair and his mind kept flashing back to Y/N. He shook his head at this and lifted up her thigh making it easier for him to sneak between her legs. When his cock entered, she couldn’t help but moan out loud. He groaned when he felt her clenching and he felt how wet she was. She arched her back and he ran his hand against her stomach to her chest. He pinched her nipple and she couldn’t help but quiver. She felt her orgasm coming and the clenching made Yoongi ready to burst. The faster this is done, the faster he can drink away the guilt.
“Gonna cum, get off.”
She nodded her head and got off him. She leaned towards him to suck him off and Yoongi didn’t stop her. He grabbed a fist full of hair and started to push her down causing her to gag at his cock. He leaned his head back and let out a moan but his mind couldn’t stop him, “Y-Y/N.”
When she licked her lips she glanced at him, “Do you want to go back to my place?”
“No...”
He tucked himself back in his pants and got out of the car without another word. He didn’t even care if she was hurt at the moment. He didn’t care about much.
The next morning, he sat in his room as his mind nagged him. He had to talk to Y/N and he had no idea how he was going to address things. That kiss that happened was the greatest thing that happened to him but it could never be repeated. She was already changing him and he hated that.
He walked towards the library knowing she was going to be there. He walked up to the fifth floor to see Y/N studying biology with her classmate. She was dressed in a light pink cardigan and simple dark blue skinny jeans. Her pink cardigan and his leather jacket were a clear indication of how opposite they were. It was cliche but it was true. She could never love him. He wouldn’t let her.
“Can we talk?”
Y/N turned around and he watched a wide smile appear on her face, “Yeah, I’ll be right back, Joy.”
The pair walked away and he glanced over his shoulder to see her looking down at the ground with shyness. They walked until they were at the end of the room and they were hidden by the bookshelves. They were silent and she glanced at his face and then towards the ground, “Are you mad at me?”
“No...I just wanted to talk.”
“Was it about yesterday?”
He sighed and crossed his arms over his chest, “What happened yesterday can’t happen again.”
“What?”
“I said it can’t happen again.”
She glared at him and she placed her hands on her hips, “What made you decide?”
Yoongi felt his jaw tense and stared at the books behind her, “This shit, it’s not going to work.”
She raised her eyebrow at this and shook her head, “You kissed back...I want you to be honest with me right now, Yoongi.”
“You think I’m lying!”
“I know you are. You’re scared-”
“I’m not scared!” He knew that was bullshit but she couldn’t know the truth. He watched her look away from him and he was nervous that she was going to cry. One tear and it was over for him. He would do anything to keep that tear away.
“Yoongi, I want you,” she whispered a shout in his face causing his face to flush. That’s what he always wanted to hear from her but he couldn’t do it. It just couldn’t happen.
“I’m Namjoon’s best friend-”
“I don’t give a damn. He can get over it...can’t you just give me a chance?”
He looked back at her and saw the determination on her face. This was the most honest he has ever seen Y/N. He couldn’t help but glance down at her lips and then back at her eyes. She shook her head and then she closed the gap between them. He was taken back but her lips against his felt right. His mind was telling him to push her off but his heart couldn’t agree with him. He started to kiss back and he ignored his thoughts for a minute.
She let out a small gasp when she felt his tongue but quickly granted access. He pulled her body closer (if that was possible). He felt her arms around his neck and he pushed her against the bookshelves. He moved down to her neck and started nipping at the soft skin. She brushed her hands through his hair and she kissed the top of his head. His hands started to travel and when he reached her ass, he couldn’t help himself to give it a squeeze. She gasped out loud and seeing this, he brought his lips back to hers. He reached underneath the back of her cardigan but quickly set her down gently when he heard voices.
“Fuck.”
She looked up at him with that same dazed expression she had yesterday, “I won’t back down.”
He looked into her eyes and realized he had matched his match with stubbornness. He looked away from her gaze, “Fine. Do what you want.” He narrowed his eyes at her while he placed his hands against the shelves, trapping her.
She bit her lower lip and wrapped her arms around his neck while they stared at each other. She kissed his cheek and whispered in his ear, “I will.”
✦ . ⁺ . ✦ . ⁺ . ✦
“Yoongi, are you sure you should be doing this?”
“My dad wants it. He said it's urgent.”
Namjoon sighed and leaned against his couch, “It’s raining though-”
“I won’t take my motorcycle. I have my car.”
“What’s going on?”
Yoongi turned his head and saw Y/N looking at him with a worried look. She was in her pajamas and she was leaning against the wall staring at Yoongi. He sighed and glanced down at the floor, “Nothing-”
“His dad wants him to deliver this box to him but it's pouring rain. I told him he shouldn’t go but his dad needs it.”
She glanced at her brother and then back at Yoongi, “Are you sure it’s all right to go alone?”
“Y/N, I’ll be fine okay? Don’t worry.”
She sighed at this and looked away from him, “Just be careful...”
Namjoon sighed and stood up from the couch, “I gotta call Heejin. She keeps texting me, Yoongi, just be careful. Text me when you get there.”
Yoongi nodded his head and watched Namjoon walk away in disappointment. He knew Namjoon was angry at his decision but Namjoon knew he couldn’t control him. Yoongi was also the type of man that if he said he was going to do something, he was going to do it. Regardless of what it was.
Yoongi listened for the door to close and he turned towards Y/N looking at him with softness, “I’ll be going.”
“Come back safe. It’s raining really hard.”
He nodded his head at this and the way she cared for him was making him feel safe. His instincts were telling him to act on his feelings. He walked up towards her to see her eyes looking at him with confusion but he leaned in and kissed her. She closed her eyes and wrapped her arms around his neck to pull him closer. He wrapped his arms around her waist and let his heart do the talking. It was clear she was nervous about this trip and he hoped the kiss would make her feel better.
When they pulled away he looked into her eyes and smiled, “It will be okay.”
“Okay...make sure you text Namjoon.”
He gave her a teasing smile, “You don’t want me to text you?”
“If you want. I don’t want to force you.”
“I’ll text you too. Bye.”
“Bye.”
He opened the door and turned around to give her a small wave. She returned it with a smile. He closed the door and let out a small sigh. He glanced forward and saw the rain was causing small flooding but his dad needed the package. He would help him especially since he was paying for his college.
The drive there was slow and the rain wasn’t stopping at any time. He took a sip of his coffee as he stopped at the stop light. It wasn’t busy out which makes sense because of the weather. He was thankful for that. The light turned green and he pulled up to go. Out of nowhere, a person came on the other side and with the rain, they couldn’t stop. He saw the headlights and then darkness.
“Namjoon, let me see him!”
“Y/N he’s-”
“Let me see him. Now.”
Yoongi groaned at the sound and slowly sat up. Under his palms, he felt softness and he realized he was in a bed. He turned his head to see that he was in a hospital. He was confused but he didn’t care, he heard how distressed Y/N sounded, “Y-Y/N?”
The curtains were ripped open and he saw Y/N’s eyes red, “Yoongi? Oh my god, you made me so worried.”
She walked towards his bedside table and went to pour water into a cup for him. Yoongi glanced at her and noticed that her hands were shaking. He reached over and grabbed her wrist, “I’m okay...”
He watched her stand there until tears started to fall down her cheeks. He knew had to do something. He carefully pulled her towards him on the bed as she cried into his gown. He looked up to see Namjoon talking to his dad, he had some time with her, “Don’t cry.” He started to rub her back gently.
“I can’t help it. I told you before, I care about you, Yoongi.” Y/N suddenly took his hand into hers, placing a kiss on his knuckle, “I care so much.”
The curtains opened and Y/N slowly got up from the bed to see the doctor come in. He smiled at Yoongi and glanced at his clipboard, “You were lucky Mr. Min. Your previous shoulder injury wasn’t affected by this accident. Minor bruises and soreness. You can leave in the morning.”
“Thank you, doctor.”
He gave one final smile and left the room. Yoongi turned his head towards Y/N to see her already looking at him. He gave her a smile and nodded his head, “Told you I was fine.”
She let out a laugh and shook her head, “shut up.”
Namjoon and Yoongi’s dad entered looking at him with worry. Yoongi’s dad sat down on the bed and frowned, “I’m sorry Yoongi. I made my own son risk his life for a package.”
“Dad, it’s fine. I was the one that said I would do it. It’s my fault. I ignored Namjoon and Y/N.”
Namjoon sighed and shook his head, “At least your shoulder didn’t fucked up again.”
“I know, I'm grateful. I can leave tomorrow morning.”
Y/N smiled and took a step forward, “I’ll help you around your apartment.”
He glanced at her with a raised eyebrow, “What about school?”
“Most of my assignments can be sent online. It’s fine.”
He looked at Namjoon who shrugged his shoulders, “Are you okay with that Yoongi?”
“Yeah, I am.”
He watched her gather the dishes and head out of his bedroom. It’s been a couple of hours since he’s been home and Y/N didn’t want to leave his side. Yoongi’s dad drove them home with Y/N sitting in the back with Yoongi. As they drove, Y/N placed her hand on his thigh and she placed her head on his shoulder. It was very domestic and he didn’t want to fight her anymore.
He was lying down in his bed as he waited for her to come back up. He was falling asleep due to the painkillers but he wanted to stay awake for her to come back. She quietly made her way over and sat on the bed, “You can go to sleep. I’ll be downstairs.”
“No, I want you here with me.”
She carefully leaned down, giving him a gentle kiss on his lips, “Go to sleep.”
“Stay with me.”
They were staring into each other’s eyes with soft smiles on their faces. They both leaned in and closed the gap between them. He slowly brushed his hand through her hair as she glided her tongue over his bottom lip. She trailed her fingers against his chest as his free hand brushed along her knee. He leaned forward to press his lips a bit harder but had to pull back, “Damn.”
“Are you alright?”
“Wrong movement.”
She let out a small laugh and shook her head, “Go to sleep, Yoon.”
“Stay with me.”
“Okay.”
Three days of Y/N being by his side and everything has been perfect. Today, he asked Y/N to get some fast food because he wanted to talk to Namjoon. This was going to change the course of their friendship, it can go good or bad. He heard footsteps coming up and he took a deep breath. Namjoon opened the door and smiled at him, “How are you doing?”
“I’m feeling better...it’s all thanks to Y/N.”
“Yeah, she’s a good nurse.” Namjoon sat on the bed carefully and noticed Yoongi was nervous. He turned his body towards him and gave him a worried look, “Are you good?”
“Can I talk to you about something?”
Namjoon raised his eyebrow and nodded his head, “Sure.”
Yoongi took a deep breath and rubbed his neck nervously, “Y/N-”
“You like my sister, right?”
Yoongi’s eyes widened at this and he wanted to leave the room, “W-What?”
Namjoon let out a small laugh and looked away from Yoongi, “I saw the way she looked at you...it was clear she had a crush but I don’t think it's just a crush anymore. I didn’t know you liked her until her birthday...I heard you in her bedroom that night. I saw the way you looked at her too. It wasn’t hard to figure out.”
Yoongi glanced down at his lap and sighed, “I’m sorry. I know she’s your sister and I didn’t want-”
“Yoongi, that would be lying to yourself. I wouldn’t want her with anybody else.”
“But she’s your little sister and I'm your best friend.”
Namjoon sighed and turned back to Yoongi, “I want her to be happy and I also want you to be happy. If you two want to be together, then go for it.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yeah, I’m sure. Don’t hurt her or I will kill you.”
“I expected that.”
Yoongi entered the bedroom and she smiled when she saw Namjoon, “Oppa, why are you here?”
Namjoon smiled at her, “I was visiting Yoongi.”
“He looks better, doesn’t he?”
“He does. Are you coming back home tomorrow or the next day?”
She placed the food next to Yoongi and smiled at him, “The next day, is that okay?”
“It’s fine. I do miss you though.”
She let out a small laugh and sat on the bed next to Yoongi, “I miss you too but Yoongi needs me.”
Namjoon smirked at this and glanced at Yoongi with a teasing smile, “Yeah he does.”
✦ . ⁺ . ✦ . ⁺ . ✦
Nighttime came by fast and Y/N was brushing her hair in Yoongi’s mirror. He watched from his bed with a smile, “You know, only Namjoon has been in my apartment.”
She raised her eyebrow and turned around in the chair to look at him, “Really? You haven’t brought your hookups here?”
He rolled his eyes and shook his head, “I would never bring them here.”
“I guess I’m special.”
“You are special, especially to me.”
Her eyes widened at this and she smiled at this, “Am I?”
He watched her put her brush back on the table and make her way to him. She climbed onto the bed with that teasing smile he loved, “You are special to me. You're my girl.”
He pulled her onto his lap and she raised her eyebrow, “I’m your girl?”
“If you want?”
She leaned down and kissed him. He deepened the kiss sliding his hands to her waist to her thighs. His fingertips were enjoying her soft skin and she gasped at the touch. He wanted her. Ever since he told her that he was not in pain anymore, his mind started to wander. She moved her hands up his pajama shirt and started to unbutton it. He pulled back a little and raised his eyebrow. She didn’t say anything but she leaned forward to meet his lips again.
After finishing his shirt, he pushed it down his shoulder letting her fingertips touch his pale skin. She moved her hands upwards and gently rubbed his shoulder. He held onto her waist and moved her shirt up to touch her skin. He moved to the hem of her top, slowly pulling the fabric upwards. Once he saw her in her bra, his heart stopped. She cupped his face and placed her lips on his. Their tongues twirling around each other.
His hands moved towards the back of her bra, unclasping the white lace. She tossed the bra to the sound and she looked at him with readiness. His hands replaced the fabric and she moaned, as she arched her back towards him. He smiled to himself when he saw that her breasts fit perfectly into his large hands. He rubbed his thumb over her right nipple, “Oh, Yoon.”
She felt his tongue on her sensitive numb while feeling his hands were feeling her up. He held back a groan hearing her say his name like that. It made him feel hard. He switched over to her other breast, giving it the same treatment. She held him close to her chest as if he was going to disappear.  Their naked chests fully touched each other and they stared at each other. She smiled at him and he returned it. Kissing each other was the greatest discovery they both made.
He trailed his tongue between her breasts until he reached the top of her bottoms. His hand brushed her bare sides and he watched the bumps appear on her skin. He removed the piece of clothing and was met with her white lace. It’s amazing how white lace was the perfect thing to describe her. So innocent and gentle, that’s his Y/N.
“Yoon...”
He took off the underwear and he leaned down kissing her neck. She suddenly bucked against his hand when she felt him cupping her, “I want to take my time with you.”
She couldn’t respond when she felt his middle finger along her wet silt. She placed her hands on his shoulders, “Yoon, please.”
They slowly kissed but a gasp escaped when she felt a finger getting inserted, “Yoongi, I want you now, please.”
“Is that what you want?”
“Yes...but we need protection.”
He nodded his head and leaned forward to his nightstand to grab a condom. He took off his pants and placed the condom on as Y/N watched. She wrapped her legs around him and nodded her head at him. He looked into her eyes before entering and she gasped at the new feeling. His thrusts were slow and she noticed how tense he was. She leaned forward kissing the tip of his nose, “Don’t hold back, I want you Yoongi.”
He nodded his head and he started to quicken his pace. She had her eyes closed with her mouth parted due to the pleasure. Her moans echoed through the room and it created a song with the rain hitting the window. He moved his hand down and started to rub at her clit causing a loud moan to escape. He leaned down and kissed her lips as she moaned into his mouth. When their orgasms hit them both, time stopped. It was only them and the rain. She trailed her fingers down his back and kissed his shoulder.
“What are you smiling for?”
She smiled and cuddled into his chest, “I finally got my bad boy...”

"You!" Y/N's eyes widened as she heard the shrieks of the school bully, Yang Jana. She was the elder sister someone would be embarrassed of, and that was the case of 10 year old Yang Jeongin, Y/N's best friend.
Jana had the hots for Taehyun, who was two years older than her. But Taehyun had a boyfriend. Beingyu was a crackhead, and often times, Y/N and Taehyun found themselves fondly exasperated with him.
"What?" She asked coolly.
:readmore:
"I have a deal for you." She smirked. "Accept the deal, and I will cease bullying you. Don't accept, and I will end you."
"Well, it depends on the deal." Y/N said, picking at her skirt uninterestedly.
"Make Taehyun mine."
"In your dreams." Y/N scoffed, walking away and to her classroom. She was due for maths, her least favourite subject.
"Hey Y/N!" Jeongin called. "Sit here!"
Y/N slid into the seat next to him and grinned.
"Where's Mrs Tan?" She asked. Mrs Tan was Korean, married to a Chinese man.
"Mrs Tan is sick." Jeongin said. "There's a substitute."
"Alright." Y/N heard Taehyun said. "Hi. I'm your substitute for the day. Kang Taehyun."
"Who let you become a substitute?" Y/N sniggered. "I doubt it was the head. You're too dumb."
"Yah Kang Y/N, stop bullying me." Taehyun's aid, faking annoyance. "Anyway. Books out. Just do your homework."
"Oppa, I can't understand this." Y/N said. Taehyun walked over. When he bent down to look at the problem, Y/N plucked a hair of his head.
"Yah! Kang Y/N come with me!" He shouted. They went outside and she felt his fingers graze the side of her ribs.
"Terry Oppa, no, please, I'm sorry!" She squealed. Taehyun laughed.
"You've been mean." He said. "You get what you deserve. Back inside."
"Ooo. Princess Y/N got into trouble." Nayeon, the form bully, said.
"You wish." Y/N said. "Unfortunately, Kang Taehyun is not scary enough to punish someone."
Taehyun turned around and sent her a 'death glare', but subtly winked at her.
___________________________
"Oh, you're so in for it." It had been an endless prank war between Taehyun and Beomgyu and Y/N and Jeongin, and she was standing at the door, soaked in green water, while Taehyun rolled on the floor with laughter.
"The weddings in a week." Emilia told her kids, smiling. "They've agreed to move here. They know about Y/N's OCD about new places."
"Alright." They were unbothered. They neither liked or disliked their new stepsiblings, so they didn't mind.
"Eomma, can I go to Niki's party tomorrow?" Y/N asked. NiKi was their cousin, a fourteen year old boy.
"Yeah, sure. Taehyun, are you going?"
"Yeah."
Unfortunately, Jana was at the party, because Jeongin was going.
"I told you I would end you." Jana said, beating Y/N over and over with a stick. NiKi and Taehyun were nowhere to be found, and Jeongin was in the bathroom.
Y/N was unconscious when he got back. Hurriedly picking her up, he ran to NiKi's room, where he had a faint idea they would be. He set Y/N down, and knocked. NiKi opened the door, but when he saw Y/N, he yelled for Taehyun and ushered Jeongin and the unconscious Y/N in.
Taehyun seemed to freeze. Y/N had never gotten intoa fight before.
"Yang Jana!" He screamed. He stormed out, leaving the other two to take care of Y/N.
"There's a first aid in my bathroom. And I'll get hyung. I'll be right back."
NiKi left and returned with Heeseung and a first aid kit.
"What happened?" Heeseung bent over his cousin, checking for a pulse.
"I'm not sure. Taehyun was yelling at Jana."
Y/N began to stir, and NiKi leant over her.
"What's your name?"
"Kang Min-Sun." Y/N answered. NiKi leant back, horrified.
"She's gone bonkers. Hospital." Heeseung said.
"Where's Kane?"
"Who?" Jeongin asked Y/N.
"Kane. My Oppa."
"Your name is Kang Y/N, 'Mi -Sun'." Heeseung said. "Your brother is Kang Taehyun."
"Sorry, what?" Y/N asked. They sighed. Engyphen were now all in Niki's room and Jay lifted Y/N into his arms and carried her into the car, not trusting her to walk.
Taehyun was informed where they went when they arrived at the hospital, and he and Jeongin rushed there.
"Y/N?"
"Kane? Who's Y/N?" Y/N asked dumbly.
"You...?" Taehyun said.
"Sorry, Kane, I don't know who you're talking about. Kane, their saying we're their cousins."
"Ms Kang has suffered slight amnesia. Her memory will return in about three hours."
"Thank you sir." Taehyun bowed. He took out his phone and dialed Emilia.
"Eomma?"
"Yes dear?"
"Im-at the Seoul National Hospital. Jeongin's sister did something to Y/N. Me and NiKi are with her."
"Oh gosh." Emilia's voice sounded shattered and Taehyun wished he hadn't told her. Taehyun and Y/N were her pride and joy.
"Hey babe, you okay?" Could be heard through the phone, then- "I've got to go."
Ten minutes later, she turned up, sweating and teary eyed.
"Eomma!" Taehyun greeted her. She siped her eyes and engulfed him in a hug.
"Thank God. You're okay."
Three hours later (insert SpongeBob voice)
"Oppa?" Y/N whimpered, holding her head from the searing pain shooting through it.
"Lie down." Taehyun told her. It'll get worse."
"Terry, where am I?"

Tumblr media
Kiku was a quiet daughter amongst children of four in the Moon Clan. She was in the middle of the line of birth, often keeping to herself while her father doted on her brothers and her mother babied Hanaka, her sister. Kaito, the oldest son of their family, was the only person who ever paid attention Kiku.
He taught her how to play the Koto when they were younger. The soft plucking of strings were the only sounds she made in her household. Her mother, Keiko complimented the sound with the assumption that it was Hanaka. When Kaito explained that it was Kiku, their mother pointed the lack of precision at the ends of each verse.
Kiku felt safe and comforted under the wing of Kaito.
But fate had other plans.
Kaito grew sick after a hunting wound turned gangrenous and the winter only worsened his condition. When he passed, Kiku felt the searing and back-breaking weight of her family's scrutiny.
Suddenly she was no longer Kaito's companion. She was a mouth they didn't want to feed.
On the fresh cusp of spring, her parents unceremoniously announced her arrangement to marry the chief of the Onyx clan. Their rival.
"Kaito said they were dangerous," Kiku said as she knelt on the ground of their main living area. Her parents stared down at her while Hanaka and their younger brother Haruki sat on the cushioned mat.
"Kaito isn't here. Don't name him when we haven't finished mourning, stupid girl," Keiko spoke through gritted teeth.
"You will marry Chief Min Yoongi and give this family an important alliance," Daiki said with a finality to his tone.
The Onyx Clan was notorious for raiding other clans, enslaving their high-born families and treating any foreign spouses like dirt. Preventing them from causing any problems in the Moon Clan was to keep them at bay with something that they didn't think was a risk.
Keiko would never send Hanaka to a place like that. Perhaps Kiku was prepared specifically for this very alliance, forcing themselves not to love her so they could make a difficult decision. Perhaps that was just her own heart trying to find a glimpse of love in a place that had none for her since the beginning.
Kiku lowered her head in a solemn acceptance, her dress still black and her heart still raw from mourning the only family member who loved her. "I will do as you wish."
-
The wedding flourished during a misty, cold morning just at the skirts of dawn where purple kissed the edges of the mountains. Kiku wore a white dress of pretty silk, embroidered in both ivory and crimson thread as if the cloth bled. A white veil laid over her head giving the world around her more of a misty vision.
They held the wedding in the central border between the Moon and Onyx Clan. There was a gentle plain where it was decorated with flowers, divided with wood and a tea set prepared on a small wooden table. Her father walked her over to the table.
Kiku forced herself not to look at her groom just yet. Instead staring at the teapot in front of them, spouting a plume of steam with the faint hint of jasmine and honey in her nose. Tea ceremonies during weddings were a common tradition amongst both clans. Thankfully, it was a tea that Kiku enjoyed but the symbol of it dawned on her like a heavy weight on her back.
Sharing tea with a man outside her family was a sign that she was now connected to him. Bonded to him. A man that Kiku hadn't even looked at yet. So she gained some bravery within herself and stared up.
Min Yoongi wasn't a large man but he was taller than her. In this vulnerable state, he looked like a looming statue. It wasn't necessarily his stature but his presence that created weight. His black eyes pierced deeply into her as if peeling off layers of every protective sense she had of herself.
A deep scar ran down his eye, making it a little greyer than the left eye. His lips were pursed and a little pink while his pitch black hair was long to the nape. Short hair was often a sign of a deadly warrior. Someone who killed many without mercy and had little honour. At least that was what her parents told her.
The esteemed monk stepped to the front of the altar and began to recite ancient chants of a bonding ritual. Kiku tried to focus on the words but she couldn't stop keeping Yoongi's gaze. His eyes softened just then when she wasn't loosening her gaze either. As if he was waiting for her to look at him.
For a brief moment, Kiku noticed something gentle behind that demeanour. Or perhaps it was yet again her mind tricking her into feeling something positive when her world was turning upside down and she couldn't do anything about it. Yoongi glanced briefly over to the monk as they stepped to the table.
He waved his hands as he spoke his chants before gesturing to a young boy.
It was the father's duty to pour the tea. So Daiki poured it with a solemn face, almost bored. The waft of jasmine and honey coated her nose, giving her some comfort.
The groom shared his tea with the bride first. Yoongi's hands were veined heavily as if he were training in the dark hours of the morning before coming here. He reached out carefully, slow enough so Kiku didn't feel shocked. He pulled at the fabric and revealed her face, the cold morning breeze kissing her heated up skin.
Yoongi picked the tea cup, softly placing the brim of the cup to her lips.
Kiku kept her eyes on him right until she felt the warm honey touch of the tea on her tongue. She slowly pressed her lips together as he pulled the cup away. Just as Yoongi's cup clinked down, she picked up her own cup.
Yoongi lowered his head a little, making it easy to her to gently tip the cup. He took a sip, his throat bobbed up and down before she placed it back on the table.
The ceremony had been sealed. Even as Kiku foolishly tried to look back and say goodbye to her family, her mother was already fixing Hanaka's hair and her father continued speaking to Haruki. Niether of them gave any indication that they wished for a goodbye so Kiku turned back without a word.
Yoongi held her hand, just barely brushing at first to ensure Kiku would respond.
Kiku curled her fingers around his, allowing him to fully intertwine together before making way to the horses.
Yoongi clasped her waist, pushing her up to sit on the horse. Then he sat behind her, grabbing the reins as the scent of rain wafted in Kiku's nose.
The air turned wet to the touch and she noticed the darkened splotches on the tree bark of a soft drizzle slowly turning to gentle rain.
"Are you sure you don't want to speak to them?" Yoongi uttered his first question as her husband and Kiku wasn't sure how to respond or feel.
Kiku glanced briefly at her family, seeing Haruki rubbing his brow in boredom while her mother was still having a conversation with Hanaka, touching her chin. Still none of them tried to look her away. "It's alright."
Yoongi didn't order the horse to move for a few minutes before a small hum vibrated through his chest, tingling her back. "Very well," he said. He made a clicking noise and the horse began to gallop at a steady pace.
The forest that was considered Moon Clan's territory was an identical stream of teal leaved trees and small wildflowers, clustered amongst light brown mushrooms and wet lands. Kiku enjoyed walking through them purely because it was peace outside of her household.
However, Onyx Clan's territory harboured something so different that it almost felt magical. There were still those collections of teal leaved trees that wafted a sweet scent. Other than that, she saw patches of yellow and pink flowers, flat mushrooms that blushed at the edges and pretty deep green vines that wrapped around dark tree bark.
The sun began peeking a sharp light at the edge of the mountains, making the distant rivers look like melted gold.
The Onyx Clan itself was a beautiful village, with calmly sleeping cows and horses in their stables. Night food stalls open for business as families were out to eat chilli noodles and honeycomb candy. Moon Clan was so used to clean diets and fresh fish that the deep, spiced notes of the stalls overwhelmed Kiku, reminding her even more than she wasn't in her old household anymore.
People of the Onyx Clan gave way when they noticed Yoongi riding into the village. Their faces filled with smiles and excited whispers as they noticed her white dress. A little girl waved shyly at her.
Kiku hesitated but waved back with a faint smile.
As they arrived to the main cluster of houses for the high-born Min family, Kiku saw a group of people waiting for them.
Yoongi jumped off the house with a thud before gently holding onto Kiku again and helping her onto the ground as well. A small set of stairs led up to the cluster of houses.
When they reached, the older woman in centre gave a kind smile. By the way she was dressed in a beautiful silk kimono and the way Yoongi bowed low when seeing her, Kiku knew she was the matriarch of the family. Seeing so much kindness after her grief was something Kiku hadn't prepared herself to expect. So for a moment, she felt lost and unable to respond. She managed to give a wide enough smile.
"Bloody hell, Yoongi, you scared the shit out of her," a young woman from the side chuckled. Not in mockery but just jovial nature.
"Yun," the older woman reprimanded with a serious expression. "Manners." She turned back to Kiku with a smile. "Sorry, my dear, I understand you're in a new place. And our clans haven't had the best relationship but you are family now." She reached out and touched her hand.
Kiku could've been moved to tears at a warm mother's touch but she kept herself strong.
"My name is Hwayoung," she said. "These are my daughters Nari and Yun. I have a son named Yeong but he's away on a trip and will return tomorrow."
Kiku nodded. "It's lovely to meet you."
Hwayoung's flickered to Yoongi. "Let's have dinner and then you both can go rest."
After their dinner concluded and Kiku's belly was warm, they convened back to their bed chambers.
Kiku was given night dresses and also new clothes for the next few days. Especially since her family didn't give her any dress to take except for one.
For a while, the room was left empty with just Kiku watching the fire flicker before skimming through the books laid upon the mantle. It was mostly war and history stories along with some manuals on mastering the sword. Kiku wished she had some books on the Koto to play and fill her days that didn't have to do with having Yoongi's children. But she wasn't sure.
Hwayoung and Yoongi's sisters seemed nice enough but there was no way of telling whether it was a momentary ruse. After all, they couldn't be rude to her in front of everyone. Although a part of Kiku wanted to believe that their kind faces were genuine.
The door then clicked open. Yoongi walked through, wearing a relaxed black silk shirt and his hair tousled as if he had just taken a bath. He closed the door behind him, expression taken aback for a moment as if he hadn't expected someone in his bed chambers before softening.
"Do you have everything you need?" Yoongi asked.
"Yes, thank you." Kiku walked forward to him as he sat at the edge of the bed. She didn't say anything yet but Yoongi's throat bobbed up and down.
Stammering, he said. "We can just sleep."
Kiku blinked curiously. Of all the things she expected, this wasn't one of them. It was relieving that he was kind but to completely let her adjust to the new place was not on the list of expectation. "Are you sure?"
"I'm sure," Yoongi said, keeping his eyes on her. "It's been a long day. We should both rest."
Kiku intertwined her fingers together and nodded, feeling a strange warmth in her chest. "Alright. Good night."
-
In the morning, Kiku awoke to an empty space in her bed. When one of the maidservants entered to serve her, she explained that Yoongi went out to train early in the morning just before breakfast to keep him awake.
Kiku hoped she didn't look scared to deter him into performing any marital duties. Perhaps throughout the day, she could try to comfort him. She knew what she was getting into.
After taking a warm bath with the maidservant being surprisingly gentle and kind, Kiku was called into breakfast by Hwayoung.
The Min family gathered under a gazebo structure made from black wood. It was round and the food laid out smelled like home in a place that hadn't been her home for a full day yet. Baked fish, soups, rice, fruits for sweetness. It was a spread for something that usually rushed in her family. Or at least Kiku would have to eat quickly.
Kiku sat down next to Yoongi while Yun and Nari continued on their conversation. Yoongi's brother, Yeong came in from his trip and he looked a softer compared to his older brother and smiled often. Usually making jokes with his mother.
Yoongi ate fish and seemed to prefer the soups over rice.
While the others were deep in their conversation, Kiku leaned in slightly. "How was training?" she asked.
Yoongi looked up, again a little shocked but quickly softened. "It was good."
"Yoongi gets quite sore after his training, Kiku," Yun said with a small smirk. "Maybe later in the afternoon, you should give him a massage. Lord knows he needs a good one."
Yoongi glared for a moment but Kiku found it endearing.
"Yun," Hwayoung reprimanded but with a playful air this time rather than the disciplinary one of last night. "Kiku should not be forced to do anything she doesn't want to."
Kiku stammered. "I'm alright with it. I used to give shoulder massages to my brother all the time."
Yoongi cleared his throat. "It's really alright." He nodded.
Kiku smiled politely, lowering her head.
"Perhaps Kiku should come spend the day with us since brother insists on being boring," Yun said.
"I am new here," Kiku said.
"A tour then," Nari said.
Hwayoung perked up. "You can take her down to the markets and get some silks or jewellery. There's lots of music playing there too."
Kiku blinked curiously. "Would there be any Koto players?"
"You like the Koto?" Hwayoung asked.
"My brother taught me how to play." Kiku's heart clenched at the mention of him again. It had been so lovely to be in a place like this. How nice would it have been if their family all spoke so easily to one another.
"That's sweet. How is your brother now?"
"He's passed away," Kiku said.
"I'm sorry, my dear." Hwayoung's eyes turned sad. Both of empathy for her but something else. "I lost my husband a while ago as well. I understand it can feel empty." The table turned quiet for a few moments to remember their father
"Thank you." Kiku's words were simple but Hwayoung didn't fully realise just how much comforting words directed at her. Like a warm, tight hug that she could cry into.
-
Kiku spent her time walking around with Yun and Nari as they explained all the ins and outs of the clan's main village. They had three smaller towns that used the same supplies and answered to Yoongi as Chief but this was the clan that Yoongi's ancestors had built and it was beautiful.
Nari took her to the bookshop and silk store. Kiku bought herself a pretty purple silk dress while also getting books on poetry that she used to enjoy listening to. A poetess would visit their clan when they were younger and Kaito would work in the shadow puppet shows to re-enact them.
It was one of the few things Kiku was allowed to watch with the family while helping Kaito work with the puppets.
Then they went to the food stalls. Kiku ate spicy dumpling noodles with mushrooms foraged from the forest. Apparently they helped with childbearing as the old woman stated, clearly knowing that it was going to be her who bears the next Chief. Kiku hadn't quite let that sink in but even when she did think about it, it wasn't a horrible thought.
Kiku, Yun and Nari then made their way to the training grounds once their bellies were full and their cheeks hurt from laughing. Kiku hadn't laughed or smiled like this since Kaito made jokes to cheer her up. While they did bicker, Yun and Nari seemed like they were close and loving to one another.
Kiku wondered if Hanaka and her would have ever been like that if their mother didn't get involved so much.
At the centre of the training grounds, Kiku saw Yoongi training with his younger brother Yeong. He spoke instructions for Yeong to follow, keeping one hand behind his back as if to hinder himself from making any strong moves. Yeong kept his hands tight on the hilt of the sword, swinging right against Yoongi's parries as the clang of steel whistled in the air.
Kiku found herself seeing the concentrated scrunch of his dark brows, sharp jawline a little clenched as he parried another attack. His black hair was tied back with chunks of it falling over the frame of his face. "He does this every morning."
Yun hummed. "You like what you see?"
Kiku cleared her throat. "It's nice he's teaching his brother."
"Yeong should focus on his studies too but he keeps running to brother for more training," Nari said. "Yoongi never refuses. He likes training for no reason."
"Ever since father died, brother trains constantly. There's no war but he always says there might be danger," Yun said. "Even with your alliance, he's still weary." Nari quickly nudged her arm and for the first time, Yun felt a little uncomfortable.
Kiku pursed her lips together. She wondered if Yoongi was suspicious that her father would run an attack on them regardless of their alliance. While Kiku was a small risk to lose in the family, her father still may break the deal. She had little trust in her father and wouldn't be surprised if he wishes to prove some kind of point.
As she shifted in and out of her thoughts, Kiku saw Yoongi turn to notice them watching. Notice her watching. Kiku tried to look down at the wrapped silk dress in her arms, hoping it wouldn't look too suspicious. Yoongi turned to tell Yeong to take a break before making his way over to Kiku.
"Looks like your husband wishes to speak to you." Yun smirked, returning to her demeanour as if nothing happened. She pushed Nari towards Yeong to speak to him instead.
Yoongi raised his brow as his sisters rushed away. Beads of sweat had formed on his hairline as he met Kiku's gaze. "They didn't bother you too much?"
Kiku was shocked by what sounded like a genuine question. "No. They were lovely. They showed me around the main town."
"I can see that," Yoongi said before giving his sword away to a servant. "Come with me."
Kiku nodded and followed him out of the training grounds.
They moved from the training grounds back into the cluster of houses where the Min family resided. Yoongi escorted her to their personal house and Kiku wondered whether Yoongi wanted to pursue their marital duties now that he was given time.
It was strange but Kiku's heart pounded not quite out of fear or worry. It was simply curiosity and perhaps even a little excitement. Everything Yoongi had done so far was give her comfort.
As they entered the main house, a beautiful polished Koto stood in the living area.
Kiku's breath caught in her throat as she looked at the Koto which had beautiful ivory finishes and a soft chair to sit on while playing. "Is this for me?" she asked in a low tone.
"You said you used to play Koto. I figured you'd like to play in your free time," Yoongi said. "Your parents didn't pack much for your trip." He shrugged.
Kiku's lips parted as she reached out and touched the Koto. Memories of playing with her brother and learning every note with him burst in her like sweetness. Tears formed a thin gloss on her eyes, as she took a deep breath.
"Is it alright?" Yoongi asked.
"It's perfect," Kiku said. She turned and smiled. "Thank you. You didn't need to do that."
"It was nothing," Yoongi said. "It's your home now too."
Kiku nodded as her heart swelled.
"Also if my mother starts giving you too many lessons, I can get you a secret room."
Kiku let out a small chuckle. "It's okay. I'd like a lesson."
Yoongi pressed his lips together, a hint of a soft smile forming on his features which only made Kiku's heart warm.
-
Kiku's time in the Onyx Clan was far more pleasant and loving than she ever expected. Before she even realised, four months had passed. Kiku spent days with Yun and Nari, had meals with Hwayoung and then spent a quiet night with Yoongi. It was still innocent between the two of them but she enjoyed those quiet moments sharing things about their day. Yoongi still didn't speak on any personal things and Kiku didn't want to pry on how he got the scar on his eye or about his father's death. But it was still nice.
Kiku nearly forgot that she had another life prior to these few months. It was only when her younger brother, Haruki came to visit the clan. Discomfort returned to her chest, aching and making her twitch. She barely spoke to Haruki and every time they had a conversation, it was malicious. Haruki found joy in insulting her and demanding her to do things as a way to mimic their father.
Kiku reminded herself that she wasn't in that place anymore. This was her home too. She wore her new purple silk dress and pinned her hair up while the servants prepared a tea set on the floor table.
Haruki entered the private house as escorted by the servants. A childish grimace on his face as always but his chest puffed to look like father.
Kiku kept sited at the table.
Haruki stood over her for a few moments as if waiting for her to stand. "You wouldn't bother to see your brother at the border."
"You've come at a busy hour," Kiku said. Truthfully, she wanted to be in the warm comfort of her home to breathe easy and hide her shaking fingers. "What did you need?"
Haruki scoffed and sat down, tapping the side of the teacup. "Father's dead."
Kiku had little love for her father but she still sit in a moment of silence, unable to know what do with the news. "What happened?"
"We need more supplies," Haruki said, ignoring her question.
It was courtesy anyway so she didn't ask again. "The Moon clan has spare granaries for those occasions."
"We have an alliance." Haruki eyed her up and down. "I'd expect you to tend to it since you're clearly not tending to any children."
"What happened to the granaries, Haruki?" Kiku asked, emphasising his name.
Haruki pursed her lips, keeping his eyes on her gaze and waiting for her to look down. When she didn't, Haruki's face twitched. "We'd been using it."
"For what?"
"That's none of your concern," Haruki said.
"So not emergencies then," Kiku said.
"You can't speak to me that way." Haruki chuckled bitterly.
"I'm the Lady of this territory and your older sister, I can speak to you in whatever tone is necessary." Kiku narrowed her gaze. "What happened?"
Haruki tightened his jaw like a stubborn child. "We'd been taking from it for the banquets. Father and mother celebrated a lot because you were gone."
"And after brother's death," Kiku said.
"Don't talk about brother."
"He was my brother too. More a brother than you ever were."
Poison laced in his voice. "Kaito spent time with you because he felt bad for you. You were this pathetic thing crouching around everywhere. The only time people said anything nice about you was in order to fuck you. Don't pretend you were someone special to him or Yoongi." Haruki gestured to the door. "He's not even willing to put a baby in you." He chuckled.
"I don't appreciate being spoken for, Chief Min," Yoongi's deep voice shook through the room.
Haruki turned his head, expression turning sour.
Yoongi walked into the house, shadows forming harsh lines on his face as something dark flashes across his expression. For a moment, he looked like the exact nightmarish image of what the Moon clan thought of the Min family. Even barefooted steps added a heavy echo in the air that it sent chills down her own spine despite the fact she knew this demeanour wasn't for her intimidation. "You can have your supplies at the border."
Haruki deflated as if letting out a sigh of relief. "I should've gone to you first then, Chief. It seems I expected too much of my silly sister." He gave a triumphant smile to her.
"Of course, she made the mistake of thinking you were far too competent." Yoongi intertwined his fingers together, veined and hardened from training.
Haruki's expression turned again, cheeks reddening. "Excuse me?"
"Don't worry, I won't make that mistake." The corner of his mouth quirked up. "Perhaps we'll have a charity basket at the border."
Haruki stood to his feet quickly, shaking and trembling like a little boy. "You go too far."
"Do I? Because it seems as if you've come here asking for more than the agreed alliance and proceeding to disrespect my wife," Yoongi said. "The way I see it, giving you a charity basket is more mercy than you deserve currently. I suggest you take it quietly."
Haruki had all the inflated confidence their parents bloated into him from childhood. If he was even the slightest bit stupider, he would speak and in a brief second of that stupidity, he almost did. But then he glared at Kiku. "You'd let him talk to your family like that?"
Anger spread through her chest. Now he wanted to be family, when it benefited him. "If only you were true family then perhaps not."
Haruki grimaced, giving a softer glare to Yoongi before turning on his heel and stomping out of the house.
Kiku let out a deep, shaky breath as her spine began to ache from the tension. She closed her eyes and tried to catch her calm again, taking the scent of wood and warmth in her comfortable home. She heard Yoongi moving until she heard his hum right at her ear.
"Quite the unpleasant family you have," Yoongi mused.
Kiku couldn't help but let out a small, saddened chuckle. "Kaito was the only good one."
Yoongi turned and sat down next to her, shoulders pressed.
The heaviness gave Kiku a wave of comfort like the way his breath hit the back of his neck when they slept.
"If he comes again, I'll ask the guards to delegate him to me or my mother," Yoongi said. "There's no need for you to speak to them if you don't want to."
"You won't be burdened by them?" Kiku asked, turning her head and finding his face incredibly close.
"No one should speak like that to you especially not in our own house." Yoongi waved his hand.
Kiku smiled as her heart burst into little butterflies, creating a lump in her throat. She leaned in and pressed a small kiss on his cheek.
Yoongi turned his head just as Kiku was pulling away, their noses brushed against each other. Dark eyes pierced into her, keeping her still in her position even though her body ached for how close they were. Yoongi kissed her lips, shyly at first to help her adjust to the action.
The tantalizing warmth that passed through Kiku pushed her to lean into the kiss, cupping his cheek. Yoongi's hands held onto her lower back pulling her close until she was pressed flush against his chest.
His lips were hot against hers, keeping his grip on her firm but so soft and gentle. Yoongi only broke the kiss for a moment as Kiku caught a deep breath before pressing her lips again. She gripped onto the fabric of his shirt until Yoongi pulled her enough for her to straddle him completely.
Yoongi held her face in his hand, pausing their kiss again to move his lips down to her neck and jawline. Every ache that she felt from her encounter with Haruki melted away at his touch. He pulled at the pins of her hair, letting it fall down the trail of her back. His fingers traced the length of her spine, making her shiver. Tongue grazed over the soft spot on her neck as her hips began to sway against his own.
Yoongi let out a small groan, lifting his head up. His chest heaved in desperation, gripping onto her hair and keeping their foreheads pressed together.
Kiku reached in again but Yoongi kept her in place.
"Are you sure?" Yoongi asked in a rasped voice that made her tremble.
Kiku nodded. "I'm sure." She reached in and kissed him again, deeper and pleading to ensure he knew this was what she wanted.
But a knock on the door startled them.
Yoongi let out a small, frustrated sigh. "What is it?" he asked.
Kiku got off his lap slowly with a clear of her throat, trying to fix her hair as the door opened to a servant.
"Sorry, sire. Your mother needs your audience for something." The servant kept their head bowed as if already knowing the position he could've caught them in.
Yoongi turned and gave Kiku a soft look.
Kiku gave a reassuring smile, patting his arm before he got to his feet and walked away. Leaving her heart pounding manically.
-
Another week passed since their kiss. Yoongi wasn't distant necessarily but it did feel like nothing changed. Kiku wondered perhaps he didn't enjoy it. He was the Chief and had many choices of his own. Kiku was an alliance marriage. Any affection that they developed may have just been a spur of the moment as they lived under the same roof. Despite all the explanations she's made in her head, it still twinged something in Kiku. With the kindness received from Yoongis family, she imagined that something would be wrong. She traded a kinder family for a husband that didn't quite enjoy her affection. She'd take it though.
This morning, the family sat around the table for breakfast. Yoongi gave her a glance here and there but it was still distant. Kiku tried to smile back but he immediately looked away.
"So Kiku has been immensely calm these past few days," Yun said, a smirk playing on her lips. "Ma says it's often a sign of...something on the way." Her eyes flickered down to gesture to her stomach.
Kiku's cheeks burned, stammering. "No, it's not that." She shook her head. "I had my bleeding." She couldn't quite hide the slight disappointment in her tone. Kiku never thought about children especially with the experiences she had with her own family. But something about the silence from Yoongi made grasp at unnecessary desires of children or anything to melt off the ice between them.
Yun hummed, pouting. "That's a shame, I wanted nieces and nephews." She poked at her food, the light breeze making strands of her dark hair dance.
"Don't pressure them," Nari said, her tone serious. "They need to be relaxed when they do it."
"Girls, quiet." Hwayoung narrowed her gaze, letting out a defeated sigh. "Don't listen to them." She smiled. "These things take time."
Yoongi stayed silent and Kiku herself couldn't find anything to say but give a reassuring smile. Even though she worried Yoongi won't come near her a second time.
-
Kiku played her Koto in the afternoon while Yoongi was out supervising the patrol. Usually it would take him till evening to come back. But today he came in early, stomping and breathing out with frustration. A strange sight from someone who was so calm. Raven black hair glistened from sweat, patches of dust latched onto his skin and his jaw terribly tightened as if it might make break his teeth.
Strangely enough, it was relieving to see some emotion in Yoongi after all the distance. Kiku stood from the Koto. "What's wrong?" She asked gently.
"Your damn brother," he seethed. "His men attacked one of my scouts." Yoongi poured water into a goblet and chugged it.
Kiku's heart dropped. "What?"
"Apparently they'd been disturbing the peace. But they didn't plan for me to come." His scar looked deeper and darker when he was angry. "Mother was weary about them for a while but I didn't think they'd stoop to petty little violence."
Kiku lowered her head, almost in shame. Even though she felt more connected to Yoongi's family, her name and identity was still attached to the people she grew up with. It was embarrassing seeing others witness the pettiness that she endured her whole life. The same pettiness that Kaito hated. "I'm sorry," she said.
Yoongi stilled for a moment, dark brows furrowed as he turned to Kiku. "Why're you apologizing?"
Kiku stammered. "It's my family. They're like this, our parents made you all seem like monsters and Haruki would do anything to make himself feel like father would be proud." She shook her head.
"Well, that's their mistake, not yours." Yoongi spoke under her breath but Kiku clung to every word and kept it close to her chest.
She reached out and touched his arm. "Is there anything I can do?"
Yoongi stared at her deeply and so long that Kiku felt like layers of her soul were being peeled. Then he broke the gaze and tried to walk back to their bedroom. "No, it's okay."
Kiku's stomach clenched as once again, the ice began to form. But this time she wasn't going relent quietly. "Yoongi, you don't have to protect my feelings. If this is too much of a burden to you then I can leave."
Yoongi stopped, looking over his shoulder to her. The expression on his face, harsh. "What?"
Kiku dug her nails into her palms to give herself some form of strength. "I can handle my family, I've lived with them my whole life. But...I don't want you to be married to someone you don't truly want."
Yoongi's throat bobbed up and down. "Is that what you think?"
"I don't know," she spoke honestly. "I just know that you became distant after what happened and I—I'm unsure."
Yoongi fully turned his body around, stepping closer. "If you're unsure, then you talk to me."
"I can't speak my wishes so easily." Kiku's voice lowered as he moved closer until she could catch wafts of the forest from him. "It's not something I'm used to."
Yoongi's expression softened. He rubbed in between his brows. "I'm a little too used to my family just saying what they think." He looked up to her. "I'm sorry. I should've checked on you."
Kiki's stomach felt warm. staying silent for a moment just to ensure what she heard was right. Then she spoke in a small voice. "It's okay."
Yoongi took her hand in his, intertwining their fingers together turning her world into a burst of stars. "I will not make you go back to that place again." He muttered. "I want you here."
"You want me here?" She asked again, just to hear him say it so it could echo inside her whenever darker voices grew too loud.
"Right here. With me." Yoongi tightened his hold. "Will you do that?"
Kiku nodded, a burning behind her eyes. "I will, I promise." She smiled, touching his chest to make herself feel grounded again.
"We still need to deal with your stupid brother," Yoongi said. "He's quickly turning into a pest than an ally."
Kiku could spend years imagining Haruki as this invincible monster, similar to when they were children. But this was real now. Haruki wasn't Kaito. He was stupid and petty even when he tried to hurt her. There were a million ways to get rid of people like that. "I might have an idea."
-
As Kiku requested, Yoongi organized a meeting at the border between Onyx and Moon territory. A canopy was erected with a floor table where they all sat together. The edge of dawn painted the mountains and tree in a burnished gold and the scent of morning dew was the only comfort in Kiku's pool of anxiety.
She was prepared for this meeting and the decisions entailed but rarely had she spoken up to Haruki before. When Kiku tried, her mother or father would reprimand and punish her.
Even as Haruki walked to the canopy, she felt a prickle of being scolded in a few minutes. But she had push it down. She wasn't Haruki's sister here, she was a Lady of the Onyx Clan. The Chief's wife.
"This pompous meeting surely isn't about the little scuffle between scouts," Haruki said. "It's a bit of harmless fun."
Yoongi stayed silent.
"You brought your wife here too," Haruki looked Kiku up and down, making sure that he used a moniker disconnected to him.
"In regards to your previous demands, we're suggesting some changes in the alliance." Yoongi kept a calm tone even though Kiku saw the tightened grip of his hands.
Haruki chuckled. "If you don't want her anymore, just kick her out." He waved his hand. "One of your servants can have her."
Yoongi narrowed his gaze but kept his neutral expression. "As you commented on our child before, we had an idea on how to strength the bond between clans."
"And how is that?" he asked.
"Since you require our food supplies which we give to you out of kindness, we have a compromise," Yoongi said. "In exchange for our food, any child born from my wife will take the Chiefs title of the Moon clan."
Haruki's brows furrowed as his chest heaved. His glare turned to Kiku. "You put him up to this, didn't you, you bitch?"
"It was a joint decision," Kiku said, maintaining her calm demeanour. She was used to his insults. She wouldn't let it hurt her again.
"I won't agree to this, it's stupid." Haruki winced.
"Very well," Yoongi said. "Then I suggest you get your defences ready."
"What?"
"Your father must've told you how the Onyx Clan works." Yoongi began to muse and there was something... oddly satisfying about the tone. "My wolves haven't been out for a feed in a while."
"You'd attack your ally?" Haruki asked.
"Attacking my scout and disrespecting the Chiefs wife constitutes that you are breaking every rule in the alliance," Yoongi said and Haruki stayed quiet. "Giving you an alternate compromise is a mercy. I suggest you consider it. My soldiers won't care if you're a spoiled Chief who can't carry a sword properly."
Haruki grimaced, chin quivering in frustration. He looked over at Kiku, as if trying to get ready for another insult but he knew it was too late. Kiku was no longer the target to point insults at. One wrong move and Haruki loses his head along with the Moon Clan. This way they can keep their lives. Haruki was stupid but he was still too scared to die. "Fine. I accept your terms."
Yoongi hummed. "Thank you." He stood up and held onto Kiku's hand, helping her to her feet.
"What would've Kaito said about you turning your back on family?" Haruki asked, cutting into her in a place that ached like a thousand knives.
Kiku paused in place, gripping onto Yoongi's hand like her life depended on it as her heart panged in pain. Haruki knew nothing about what Kaito was like. It took her every strength and hope in her body not to throw scalding tea in his face for even insinuating that Kiku would do something to disappoint Kaito. Because Kaito wasn't like that. Kaito understood and listened. Haruki was a fool. Kiku straightened her posture, turned and looked Haruki straight in the eye. "Kaito wouldn't have caused a food shortage in the clan."
Haruki scoffed, pursing his lips together.
"Kaito did his duty, as I am. From where I'm looking, I'm not the one who made father die from disappointment." Kiku felt like a dam burst inside her as she let the words flow but seeing the Haruki's sour and pouty expression made it all worth it.

Kiku was able to breathe easy when they returned to their tent for the night. She walked over to her vanity and her maid immediately began taking pins out of her hair. She watched from the mirror as Yoongi unlatched his sword sheathe of his waist and began to pour himself a drink. The dark furrow of his brows prominent. Kiku raised a hand and smiled at the maid. "A moment, please."
The maid bowed and did as she asked, stepping out of the tent to give them privacy. Kiku took out the rest of the pins so her hair was fully open and relaxed. A dull throb formed on her scalp. She stood and made her way to Yoongi as he leaned forward on the table.
"He can be a lot to tolerate," Kiku said.
Yoongi took in a deep breath to calm himself down. "The way he talks to you, it's like you're complete strangers. Enemies, even."
Kiku swallowed the small lump in her throat. It was always normal to her, seeing the way family treated the one they didn't want with the exception of Kaito. But Yoongi valued family with his life. She could only imagine the kind of shock thrumming through him. "You have a good family. Some don't." She touched his arm. "But sometimes you find a better one."
Yoongi turned his head, his once sharp eyes now softened and sad. "If I've ever made you feel—"
"Not once." Kiku knew it like the breath she took. Yoongi and his family had been nothing but comforting and kind. She reached and pressed her forehead against his. It was almost involuntary but feeling him lean into it was the only answer she needed to keep still.
Yoongi turned his body slowly, letting their chest flush against one another before he leaned and placed a gentle kiss on her lips. His warm hand cupped her cheek softly like she was precious. He pulled away only to press kisses on her cheek and jawline, taking her into an embrace. He buried his face into the crook of her neck where the scent of jasmines wafted in his nose.
Kiku could fall asleep in this embrace. Her body and mind and every bruise in her heart soothed from the loving touch. She traced her fingers across the strands of his hair as if lulling the both of them to dreams. It was difficult to admit it in the past few months with the new changes and confusion. But today for the first time, she could surely say it.
Kiku felt loved.
-
The meeting had left Kiku and Yoongi tired for the evening. They rested their heads, nestled close as they tried to sleep. Tried was an effort Kiku persisted on as the hours went by. It wasn't quite a terrible night of troubling thoughts but an eagerness. She opened her eyes to see Yoongi with his eyes calmly closed, his lips a little puckered.
Kiku took a moment to watch him, reaching out a little to touch his cheek. He stirred slightly at her touch, but his eyes remained closed, his breathing steady and rhythmic. She pulled away with a defeated sigh, not wanting to wake him up. So she turned around and tried to drift off to sleep again.
It was only a few minutes later then she felt Yoongi shift, moving closer until his chest was pressed right against her back. His arm laid over her body, embracing her from behind. Kiku felt a wave of warmth and comfort wash over her as Yoongi tightened his hold.
"Can't sleep?" Yoongi asked.
Kiku hummed. "A little. It's okay, go back to sleep."
"I can be awake," Yoongis voice rasped as his face buried into the crook of her neck again. He began pressing kissing down the length of her shoulder. "Do you want me to be awake?"
Kiku smiled to herself, swaying her hips against him. "A little."
Yoongi chuckled lightly, the vibrations made her quiver in delight. He made Kiku lay on her back, climbing on top of her and sneaking between her legs. "Are you sure?" He whispered.
Kiku nodded. "I'm sure." She smiled against his lips before pressing a kiss on his bottom lip.
Yoongi kissed down the length of her neck, unravelling his night clothes and pushing up Kikus soft dress. He entered her gently, her snug walls hugging his tip before he kept pushing.
Kiku gripped onto his clothing as the sensation made her tremble under him. She swayed her hips with his movements, encouraging him to move faster. The ache was slight but the tingle of pleasure sent her into a slight dizziness. She wrapped her legs around his waist.
Yoongi brushed his fingers across her hairline, full of affection as he moved deeper inside her. He pressed sweet kisses at the corner of her lips.
Kiku smiled feverishly as the pleasure sent heat through her body, radiating like steam and intoxication.
Yoongi made sure he was slow, not just to be careful but to draw out this intimacy for as long as he could. The feeling of embrace brought back every slight desire he had in the past few months to hold or touch her. "Feel good?"
Kiku nodded, letting out a slight whimper as he continued to move at that tantalizing pace. "Good." She traced her thumb across his cheek. Strands of his hair falling over his face, curtaining over hers. Her core became slick with arousal, creating light squelch sounds as he thrusted into her with a new desperation.
His release clouded him, flooding him with an unbearable warmth until he grind himself into her. He muffled his moan against her neck.
Kiku felt his lower belly press on her sensitive spot, making her clench around him, pushing him further into his climax.
Yoongi lifted himself up, foreheads layered with sweat as they pressed against each other.
Kiku took his lips into a kiss, surging him to thrust into a steady pattern that made her lose breath. She gripped onto the side of his neck as moans broke through any form of whisper.
Yoongi quickened his pace following the pattern of her moans and the rolling of his own release. Then the sweet burst into a ricochet of pleasure and heat.
Kiku smiled, breathless as she relished in the warmth filling her. As Yoongi kept moving, he snuck his head in between her legs, targeting her sensitive spot and pushing her to the edge. Kiku's brows furrowed, aching to reach her own climax as she was full of him. Her breathing turned to quickened whimpers as she squirmed under his touch. Her back arched, head thrown back giving Yoongi the chance to kiss her neck and jawline.
Her climax bloomed, the heat of it shaking her limbs and forcing her legs to shut around him. Yoongi kissed her forehead, still rubbing on that spot until she twitched against it.
Kiku whimpered, pushing his hand away. A small laugh left his lips fuelling her with more delight. It was the most wonderful feeling she had to be embraced like this so warmly and the bliss of pleasure melting her body until she was meshed with the bed itself.
"You feel sleepier now?" Yoongi watched her with his own half-lidded, blissed eyes.
Kiku smiled as her breathing turned slow and calm. "Mhm." She traced her fingers down his cheek. "I think I've officially become your wife."
"Oh?" Yoongi's brow raised. "You weren't before?"
Kiku chuckled, slapping his chest playfully. "I mean we don't have anything to hide anymore."
Yoongi caged her in with his arms, making her feel safe and secure. "No, we don't."
Kiku blinked slowly, her finger moved gently to his scar. "Like this?"
Yoongi's expression softened into a mix of ruminating vulnerability and an old sadness that had been repeatedly reminisced. He lay down next to her, shoulders pressed flush. "My father and I go on small trips every now and then. He used to do it with every child, just to. . .talk, connect with nature and spend time." He waved his hand. "It was strange for Chiefs to do it but he said it was because he never got to speak to his own father. So, he wanted to make sure we weren't. . .without one." He let out a long breath.
"He sounds like a good father," Kiku said.
"He was." Yoongi's dark eyes melted and glossed from emotion. "One day though, bandits were prowling in the place my father and I camped. They attacked us. I got this from one of the bandits." He pointed to the scar. "Before my father told me to run while he fended them off. I called my mother and some guards to help but we were too late."
Kiku shifted and rubbed his chest. "Is that why you train so much?"
Yoongi nodded. "I want to make sure Yeong and the girls know how to defend themselves or others should the need arise." He took a deep breath, playing with Kiku's hair. "But I had a good family. We took care of each other, just like we'll take care of you."
Kiku smiled, resting her chin on his chest. "I'll take care of you all too. I still owe you a massage."
"You gave me a pretty good one a minute ago." Yoongi smirked.
Kiku chuckled. "A proper massage."

Kiku and Yoongi returned to the main houses early in the morning as the soft gold of dawn painted the forest. Hwayoung had lunch prepared with the rest of the family to welcome them home. Fresh steamed fish with tofu, rice porridge and some fresh fruits newly picked from the farms. Kiku ate happily, her appetite had grown in the months she was with this family but it made her all the more energetic and vibrant along with her excitement from the past night's events.
Something the family noticed more than Kiku realised.
Yun, in particular, stared the two of them a little too closely with a smirk. "So how was the trip, brother?" She asked in a sing-song voice.
Yoongi's eyes flickered up as he paused mid-bite. "As most political talks go with a spoiled brat of a Chief. He gave into the deal quickly," he spoke in a slightly formal tone.
Kiku quietly sipped on the last drops of her tea before he gently poured her another cup. She gave him a shy smile.
"I haven't heard much about the prospects of the Chiefs of the Moon clan but the younger son is usually unprepared," Hwayoung said thankfully to distract from what Yun actually wanted to ask.
Yeong stammered just as he took a bite of his food, looking at Hwayoung with a pout. "What'd I do?"
Hwayoung raised her hand. "I mean, generally. Not you."
Yoongi let out a small chuckle under his breath. "She means you."
Yeong sighed, pointing at him with his chopsticks. "I've beaten you in sword training before, I'll do it again."
"Did you do anything else in the trip?" Yun asked, with a wide grin, leaning forward in excitement. "You were both alone for the night. And Kiku's been. . .glowing."
Kiku's cheeks burned, clearing her throat. "I—I don't—"
"You need to stop obsessing over your brother's marriage, sweetheart, it's getting strange." Hwayoung patted the back of Yun's hand.
"It's only because you don't let me get married." Yun leaned back on her chair, folding her arms over her chest.
"Mother's protecting the men of the clan," Nari said, raising a brow.
Yun slapped Nari's arm as Yeong snorted.
"See how they bully me?" Yun asked Kiku.
Kiku chuckled, biting down her bottom lip and glancing at Yoongi. Often when she had terrible encounters with Haruki, she would get scolded by her family and live with the suffocating feeling of frustration in her chest.
Today was the first time, Kiku could cling to the happy moments and forget about Haruki or any of this harsh words. Her family threw her to the Onyx clan like a bait at the end of a fishing line but in their hatred for her, Kiku found love for her own.
