I am having a love hate relationship with kit and hazel (mari) breaking up, on one hand I’m glad kit can heal more now and there no possibility of Cassie trying to pull a cheating trope in twp… on the other hand I was excited to meet her and learn more I want kit to have his own friends and she’s really all we’ve heard about him… honestly I just hope kit is doing okay

If yellowjackets was a medieval fantasy Jackie would be a princess and Shauna would be a butcher who greets the princess warmly everyday when she comes to do her shopping but secretly resents that Jackie was born into wealth. And Natalie would be a hunter who sells meat to Shauna and she gets hired to hunt a werewolf which turns out to be Tai who is also a knight. And Van would be a bard who writes about Tai's adventures. Laura Lee would be a priestess and Lottie a prophet. Misty would be a royal handmaiden who knows all the royal secrets.

🎃 WELCOME TO THE FRIGHT SIDE! 🍂
These are circa 2021 when a dear friend suggested watching Scary Godmother's animated movie. I gotta confess: until then I never knew the existence of it... and less that it was based on a series of short stories and comic books! I fell COMPLETELY IN LOVE with the characters and setting and AAA
But especially, what held tight to my heart was the narrative of this amazing writer and illustrator, @jillthompson , creating this whole fantasy world to make "friends with the scary side" and reveal that even monsters fear and can be your best allies ♥
I'm so glad I found her work, it keeps inspiring me to reach that level of love for storytelling and to never be afraid to show the themes and aesthetics that move us deeply!
PS Those last pics portray a grown-up Hannah Marie based on Miss Thompson's concept art she showed in one of the books.

A first year asks Remus about his scars bc 11 year olds just blurt shit like that out sometimes and he's like so tired of it he just "well, I'm a werewolf you see." and they think he's just being sarcastic so they laugh it off
but then a rumor actually starts going around but all the older kids are like "don't be ridiculous he'd never say that if it was true, and a werewolf couldn't even be at hogwarts anyway" and the marauders think it a the funniest thing to ever happen and encourage the joke to spread bc honestly there's not better hiding place than in plain sight
Eventually the joke dies down and no one actually ends up believing it so whenever someone like one of the girls or one of Reg's gang find out Remus actually is a werewolf they're like "are you actually fucking shitting ne right now."
