Being heartbroken
I recently watched a movie, Past Lives, I didn't even see the synapse, I just had a feeling I was going to like it, because it's that kind of movie that breaks your soul with a simple but effective narrative, that cuts like a knife, but at the same time is as soft as a breeze. Those kind of movies that leave a lump in your throat, but no tears are able to come out. That's my kind of movie.
And make no mistake, I adored it. I just don't know how my brain works, but I find the genre of romance movies so fascinating and captivating that they break your soul. I could watch them over and over again a thousand times. I guess I'm a fan of being heartbroken.
I… I really can't stand the idea of romantic love. How can someone stay for so many years with another person? Don't they get bored? Don't they feel like they run out of topics of conversation?… Aren't they afraid that it will never end?
Past Lives, I really wish I knew how to write a good review. But this is not a review.
These are thoughts that have a will of their own, destined to go out into the world.

The barrier is gone and everyone is happy? Well not exactly, King Arthur would lose his power because Auradon would now finally be one complete kingdom.
So Arthur gets his army ready and he attacked the capital of Auradon a few days after the barrier came down.

I didn't get him (and I need to save my keys for Silver's birthday, sob) so I looked up his groovy, and I'm not over how incredibly dramatic and epic and cool it looks in direct contrast to the absolutely ridiculous context. just look at that dynamic action and his majestic sparkling tears and keep in mind that this is pretty much right after a bunch of characters have been dance battling for his soul.
and then even the actual moment of the groovy is just like

#poorly drawn mdzs#mdzs#wen qing#wen ning#jiang cheng#wei wuxian#In the audio drama she quite literally opens the door and then leaves after seeing them without breaking conversation.#It is both so impressive and deeply funny to me.#I imagine her just literally pivoting in one foot and walking right out.#She came home after a long day at work and in 0.5 seconds went “I would rather go back to the office than deal with this right now”.#Besides tickling me to near tears - this scene is also a great introduction to Wen Qing - her first instinct is to protect!#She lives by the code of 'I don't care who you are - if you need help I will lend it.' a true doctor and professional.#Sure she is *mad* that Wen Ning puts himself (and her to a lesser extent) at risk by helping 'the enemy' but she gives in quick.#I love Wen Qing a lot - she is such an unsung hero in this story.#Sorry that her first appearance on this blog was...what it was. I'll let your curiosity take you down that path...

Just For Him
Knowing Danny's family and his time as a hero you would think that Danny would grow up having a similar job, and so did he honestly!
That was until he put on a pair of skates and stepped onto the ice.
Maybe it had something to do with his ice core that made his movements on the ice feel more natural than any other kind of ground under his feet.
Once he was on the ice he felt like a completely different person, confident in every single step, in the way he would spin and jump- using a bit of his ghostliness to gain more air time in his jumps.
The entire sensation on that ice was freeing,
invigorating,
peaceful.
It was just him and the ice under his blades.
It felt like everything in his life was for someone else, his creations his protections all of it that he would gladly give to those who need it and to his loved ones.
But when was the last time he had anything that was just for him.
For him to enjoy
For him to find unrestrained happiness from
Just for him
So no, while it was surprising to everyone around him including himself at the direction his life turned to he couldn't be happier.
He now traveled a lot for his competitions & own fun, with a very happy Ellie tagging along to support him and enjoy what the world had to offer.
