Metroplis the Flying City
Danny is working as a scientist for Lex, and as Fenton, he didn't think Lex was evil or insane. Don't flirt with my mom, and all is okay. Well, while working or better interning, Danny created the Fenton-in-the-Air Inator!!
After activation, the entire populace of Metropolis gains the ability to fly! Let's conquer the skies before setting our sights on the moon! And when he close the machine it would stop!
Lex:"Sure, start it then." He didn't think that the idea would work.
Well, it did; now all of Metropolis could fly. And Lex found a way to get good Money. And Superman against all the Chaos looked funny too. And Clark was super confused, and he wanted it to stop! LOIS! DON'T FLY OUT OF THE WINDOW!!!
A/N Only People who were in Metropolis as Danny activated the Machine can Fly.

Something something if Metropolis citizens made memes
(IDs under cut)
[ID 1: a photo of a car careening off the highway (whose sign reads "investing in real estate like a normal human being") to get onto an exit ramp, labelled "death ray that blows up California." The car is labeled "Lex Luthor"]
[ID 2: A meme template consisting of screenshots from the show The Flash. In the first shot, an ominous-looking Green Arrow asks "Do you trust me?" He is labelled with the caption "my weird boss." In the second, the Flash answers: "With every cell in my body." He is labelled "Me, about to get transferred to Gorilla City"]
[ID 3: A screen cap from WWE Wrestlemania. In the foreground stands a smiling AJ Styles, labelled "Jimmy Olsen, livestreaming his first time skydiving." Just behind him, the Undertaker appears, clearly about to take him down. The Undertaker is captioned "getting turned into a giant turtle."]
[ID 4: Spider-men pointing at each other meme. The first Spider-man is captioned "Superboy trying to stop a robbery at my local 7/11," while the second reads "Another, smaller Superboy crashing through the window halfway through."]
[ID 5: Jim Halpert pointing to a whiteboard meme. The whiteboard reads "Superman and Lois Lane have confirmed multiple times that they're just friends and continuing to insist they're having an affair is incredibly disrespectful to her and her husband."]
[ID 6: Gayle (played by Chris Flemming) asks "Okay, was anybody gonna tell me OG Superboy's other dad is Lex Luthor, or was I just supposed to read it in People Magazine myself?"]
[ID 7: Text reads "Lois Lane calling President Luthor a dipshit on live television during a press conference." Below it is the "Carefully, he's a hero" meme from the Sam Raimi Spider-man films.]

Was playing around with some Kryptonian HCs ✨ mostly the eyes ( hopefully my writing is legible )
But to make it easier I’ll type it out here! ( also adding more that I didn’t write down )
Kal-El/Clark & Kara Zor-El ( Full Kryptonian )
Eye Characteristics
White pupils
Rings around iris border and pupil
Otherworldly blue hue ( distinct to the House of El )
Gentle Glow
Kon-El / Conner & Jon Kent/ Jon-El ( Half-Human & Kryptonian )
Eye Characteristics
Kon
Genetically engineered to have the more Kryptonian appearance
Most characteristics are similar to Kal & Kara’s
Due to sharing DNA with Lex, his eyes are more greenish in hue
Jon
Naturally born hybrid, has more human characteristics
Has dark purple pupils than totally white ones
His eyes are a periwinkle due to his mother’s ( Lois ) genes
Ring around the pupil is very faint, only really noticeable around the iris
Faint glow

My other hope for "My Adventures With Superman" is that their interpretation of Lex Luthor still has the big fabulous wavy red hair and the backstory with Clark where they're both from Smallville and were close friends. Like my mental image is that Lex shows up in Metropolis and is buying a building to house his up-and-coming startup, and Clark's like "Heeeeyyyy what happened to keeping the startup in Smallville? For the jobs? Like you talked about?" And Lex swings an arm around Clark like "Clark, Clark, Clark, buddy--I could not in good conscience set up shop there! You want me to gentrify Smallville? Bulldoze the poor little hardware store? No, man, those are simple farmers! Good, salt of the earth people! You know... morons!"
And the entire dynamic is that Clark was talking so excitedly about Lex to Jimmy and Lois to the point that they're jealous and suspicious when Lex shows up, like "Who is this guy? Clark is OUR buddy, what makes this guy so great?" but goddamn Clark is working his ass off to try and make sure they give Lex the benefit of the doubt, and to his credit, Lex actually does a lot to win them over. He praises Lois's journalistic ambitions and points out new leads to her, and it turns out he's one of Jimmy's loyal "Flamebird" viewers and thinks Jimmy should get into podcasting. But it's also like... the more time they're spending together, the more red flags Clark is getting. But everyone seems happy so why rock the boat? So he just tries to laugh and go along with things... But eventually everything culminates into a collective group realization of "Wait a minute... this guy's a dick!"

I have seen “omg I can’t wait to see Batman on My Adventures with Superman!” and I have seen “fuck Batman, can’t you bitches let Superman have ONE THING for himself?” but I think a Luthor-esque cameo where Bruce Wayne happens to be at an event Team Superman is covering and we get to be like “hey! That’s Batman!” but it’s not a major part of the episode is something we could all get behind.

I got a dc Headcanon:
Lex Luthor makes a nasty remark about Tim Dating Bernard on twitter, so all the bats show up to a Gala that Lex will be at, but they all brought a gay partner/friend as a plus one
Dick brings his gay best friend/male lover Wally West (he is dating Kori and Wally, he has two hands) and makes certain to flirt with him whenever Lex is in earshot
Jason brings his husband Roy and their daughter Lian and makes certain to kiss Roy whenever Lex is near
Tim brings Bernard and Kon for obvious reasons
Damien brings his best friend Jon, and they both wear pride flag ties
Cass and Stephanie go as a couple and are holding hands all night
Bruce invites Oliver Queen, and both wear pride flag capes to the event
Reporters Clark Kent and Lois Lane attend and wear Bisexual flag ties
Lex shortly after makes a statement that his Twitter account was hacked and that he is very pro lgbtq and he changes his Twitter icon to a rainbow for a year

I'm sorry are you saying bald Zuckermusk Trumpesoz does NOT reflect modern villainy?
EDIT: I'm glad Lex isn't in this too soon, because then all the focus would definitely go to him! And other characters deserve a chance to shine (anime twink Slade is giving me life I can't stop laughing at him.) But the Amazo-tech-bro villain in Ep 4 proves that "Lex Luthor not reflecting modern villainy" is BS lmaoo. Looking forward to LL whenever he shows up.

You ever see a fandom agree that a character is a dumb himbo/bimbo just because said character is polite and a good person? Like, the assumption being that since they’re strong and polite, they must be dumb and goofy?
any examples? Because I think I’m watching Tumblr pretend Superman is a Himbo for exactly this reason. But it must also happen to some female characters too.

Superman/Joker & Batman/Lex Luther body swap
I would pay to know how that day went with Lex in Bruce's body. Dick does not look happy to be on babysitting duty. Damian on the other hand...
So I found a copy of the 2011 General Mills sponsored Justice League series (which, as someone who is super into dc comics and cereal advertising, is a lot of fun). But! Issue #9 is a body swap between Superman/the Joker, and Batman/Lex Luther, and it is fantastic. We also get some great Lois moments with Clark and Bruce.
I've read a handful of the other issues and they're definitely worth checking out. They're heartfelt and also just fun team ups that we don't always see like Batman & Aquaman or Wonder Woman & the Flash.
Also the art is fun. Have some fun little guys:

SuperClonexPhanClone
People would say that because he and she are clones, they would date if they met. Well, they are right. Kon dated Dani after he learned about her being a clone and after spending more time with her. And he and she really spent much time together, and he was surprised to learn her family was totally okay with her being a Clone. And he met the Fenton's a few times, a nice family that was really nice. even if they are mad scientists. The junior reporters, Dani and Kon! For other people, it looks like a mini-Lois Lane and Clark Kent. + Dani said that she knew a few famous people but didn't know about other famous ones:" If Lois Lane didn't write about them, they couldn't be important. Or her sidekick, Clark Kent." (had this from a other prompt, forgot which one it was) Dani fully believes that Clark is Lois sidekick. + As Fenton invited his family for a family dinner, he asked Lex Luthor. He already knew Superman would say no anyway. Kon was surprised, as Lex actually came to the family dinner with the Fentons. And even more, how well he got along with Jack and Maddie Fenton at the dinner.
This became a Monthly family time.

It feels to much like crack to actually include it in the House of Elle series (where Elle ends up getting adopted by Tim & Kon after ending up in the DC universe), but I've been haunted by the idea of Elle deciding to spend time with her "grandparents" and the chaos that comes with that decision.
Like, in particular I'm just imagining Lex, holding her out in front of him like a bomb, chasing after Superman (who is flying for his *life* because Elle just ate her own weight in Kryptonite while staring directly into his eyes without blinking) screaming that it's Supes' turn with the demon.
While they're distracted yelling at each other publicly that no, it's *your* turn, Ra's grabs Elle planning to hold her hostage or something and use her against Tim.
He lasts ten minutes.
He tries returning her to Lex & Superman, but it's too late. She's smelled his fear. He's never getting rid of her now. He begs Bruce for help, but just gets told that they all appreciate him volunteering to babysit. (Bruce was the one Elle started with. She brought the dinosaur to life. Damian's adopted it.)
Eventually Lois shows up and just, scoops Elle up and takes her along on her latest story. She says Elle is a perfect angel. No one is sure if which of the two they should be more scared of.
Meanwhile Tim & Kon are just blissfully enjoying their date-day, fully aware of the chaos their little adopted hellion is causing and enjoying every minute of it while ignoring the increasingly frantic calls from their various father figures. Elle will let them know if she needs them.

Here are some cool Easter eggs that I found the newest My Adventures with Superman episode, “Let’s Go to Ivo Tower, You Say”. Links to the easter eggs post:
Episode 1 is here
Episode 2 is here
Episode 3 is here
Episode 5 is here
Episode 6 is here
Episode 7 is here and here
Episode 8 is here
Episode 9 is here
Episode 10 is here SPOILERS if you have not seen the episode of course:
Tumblr media
Perry assigns our intern trio to go get interviews about Anthony Ivo. I previously mentioned Ivo's deal in the comics in this post, but we'll talk more about this version of Ivo later.
Tumblr media
Shout out to Lois' hanbok! As a kid in the 90s my first exposure to the DC was through the DC Animated Universe. Because of the way some of the characters like Lois, Clark, Bruce, Dick, Tim, and Terry, were designed, as a kid, I thought they were Asian. Very cool to see this version of Lois be Korean.
Tumblr media
Before Lois shows up for their black tie event at Ivo Tower, Jimmy knocks down a stack of papers and magazine and Clark goes to pick it up and stumbles upon the Metropolis Star with a cover that shows him as a kid flying 15 years ago.
Tumblr media
The Metropolis star is a rival newspaper to the Daily Planet in the comics. The publisher makes its first appearance in Superman #9 (1987) (W&P: John Byrne, I: Karl Kesel, C: Tony Ziuko, L: John Costanza).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
When our intern trio makes it to Ivo Tower, Lois spots some very interesting powerful and political figures of Metropolis, the CEO of Galaxy Communications and Mayor Fleming.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Galaxy Communications makes its first appearance in Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen #133 (1970) where it was headed by Morgan Edge, the then leader of Intergang. In the comics Clark and Lois does work for Galaxy communications thanks to it buying out the Daily Planet forcing Clark to be the evening news anchor. The Galaxy Communications panels here are from Swamp Thing #68 (1988) (W&P: Rick Veitch, I: Alfredo Alcala, C: Tajana Wood, L: John Costanza).
Mayor Fleming makes her first appearance in Action Comics #894 (2010) (W: Nick Spencer, P: R.B. Silva, I: Denis Freitas, C: Dave McCaig, L: Rob Leigh) where she appoints Jimmy Olsen and Sebastien Mallory as a welcoming committee for Dalwythians aliens. Like her MAwS counterpart she is obviously the Mayor of Metropolis.
Tumblr media
Later, Lois goes and questions Senator Sackett at the party/event.
Tumblr media
In the comics Sackett was a councilman not a senator who makes his first appearance in Superman #130 (1997) (W: Dan Jurgens, P: Norm Breyfogle, I: Joe Rubenstein, C: Glenn Whitmore and Digital Chameleon, L: John Costanza) depicted here in the issue's panel wearing a Superman costume. Sackett in the comics is in Luthor's pocket.
Tumblr media
I am like 99.99% sure this is Lex Luthor like who else in Metropolis is named Alex, has red hair (if this is Lex Luthor and he shows up again, I'll talk about him and what I mean by this in another post.), and works in the science and tech field.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We finally meet Ivo and he is as I was hoping he'd be a major techbro tool. The way he acts in his introduction and his meeting with Clark is very much like Lex and Clark's meeting in Batman v Superman. Both Ivo and Lex upon meeting Clark know how strong he is. In MAwS Ivo punches his chest and it hurts him and in BvS you heard an audible thud when Lex knocks on Clark's chest. Very similar vibes between both scenes.
Tumblr media
Clark confronts Ivo about one of his deals and name drops one of Metropolis' mob families.
Tumblr media
Bobby Gazzo, head of the Gazzo crime family in Metropolis, makes his first appearance in Batman: Dark Victory #1 (W: Jeph Loeb, P&I: Tim Sale, C: Gregory Wright and Heroic Age, L: Richard Starkings). Fantastic sequel to Long Halloween, highly recommend reading both books.
Tumblr media
After Clark gets thrown out and Lois offers to repair his jacket, we see Lois mentioning her dad, Sam Lane a military general and if the person at the end of the second part of the first episode is Sam Lane...
Tumblr media
...and he shows up again in the show I'll talk more about it in another post. For now this is all just speculation.
Tumblr media
Might be reading into this but maybe a subtle nod to how the words "Superman" and "pal" are often used together. Both have been used as a comic book title, "Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen" as I've mentioned in these posts a few times.
Tumblr media
The show here did a very clever thing with Ivo. Normally any other media pertaining to Ivo would give the audience his power and weakness stealing robot Amazo, but here the MAwS team was able to combine both Ivo and another villain in Superman's rogues gallery, Parasite.
Tumblr media
The first Parasite, Raymond Jensen, makes his first appearance in Action Comics #340 (1966) (Cover Art by Curt Swan, George Klein, and Ira Schnapp). All iterations of Parasite have the ability to temporarily steal away anyone's energy, strength, and their knowledge. As I've said there have been other Parasites that Superman fought, the second and most recurring Parasite is Rudy Jones, the Parasite I'm more familiar with, who makes his first appearance in Firestorm #58 (1987).
Tumblr media
Cover Art by Joe Brozowski, Bruce Peterson, and Tom Ziuko Alex and Alexandra Allston the third and fourth Parasite (green Parasite and purple Parasite respectively) first appeared in the Adventures of Superman #633 (2004).
Tumblr media
Cover art by Gene Ha and Art Lyon
The latest Parasite, Joshua Allen, makes his first appearance in Superman #23.4 (2013).
Tumblr media
Cover art by Aaron Kuder and Dan Brown So yeah there are similarities between the Amazo robot and Parasite and it was smart of the MAwS team to just combine Ivo with Parasite to avoid redundancies. Besides the Amazo robot is more of a Justice League villain anyways.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Near the end of the episode, after the Parasite suit wrecks Ivo's body, he begins to look more like his recent iterations in the comics now. The panel here is from Justice League of America #4 (2013) (W: Geoff Johns, P: Brett Booth, I: Norm Rapmund, C: Andrew Dalhouse, L: Rob Leigh). Hope you all had a wonderful time checking this post out. Like I said at the beginning my other MAwS easter egg posts are:
Episode 1 is here
Episode 2 is here
Episode 3 is here
Episode 5 is here
Episode 6 is here
Episode 7 is here and here
Episode 8 is here
Episode 9 is here
Episode 10 is here
