at first you thought you were gonna be an ‘outcast’ at an outcast school, but you made a couple friends, enid, her aura was a bright yellow, probably because she’s always smiling and full of joy, and wednesday who had black, ‘cause she was so mysterious, and had strength. you could see all of your friend’s auras except for xavier, the guy you like, of course it has to be the guy you like.

you were at the quad with ajax, so you told him about it for some help, maybe he knows what to do.

“i just can’t see his aura! and, of course i have to have a crush on him, for god’s sake!” you whined

“maybe, try getting some emotions out, make him happy, sad, whatever” the gorgon said

“thats a great idea, ajax! i owe you for this one!” you say

“y/n- please, don’t go too far on him- hes kinda a sensitive kind of guy, okay?” he says worried

2 weeks later

it was 2 weeks after the whole weathervane thing, you didn’t really talk to xavier much because of his jealousy and if you were being honest, you kinda regretted getting xavier’s emotions out of him just so that you can see his aura.

tomorrow was the rave’n, so you and your friends went shopping for your outfits.

you already got yours, but you were missing one thing, a date. you wished xavier was your date right now. but it was not possible. so you just decided to go solo.

it was the next day and it was 7:30PM, the rave’n starts at 8 o’clock so you decided to dress up in your outfit already. you met up with your friends downstairs.

“lets go!” enid squealed

you all walked down the stairs and you could feel everyone staring at you, including xavier.

your friends decided to get drinks and dance. while you just sat there all alone. a slow, romantic song started playing. and everyone and their s/o started to slow dance. you sighed but felt a light tap on your shoulder.

“hey, wanna dance?” xavier gave you a smile and held his hand out.

you grabbed his hand and went to a corner, you placed your hands around his neck as he put his around your waist and you two swayed your hips to the music.

“i’m sorry, i only did the whole tyler shit so i could see your aura ‘cause i couldn’t see it, and also because i liked you.” you say

“you’re an idiot, you know that?” he says chuckling

“your idiot, of course” you smile

he cups your face and leans in to kiss you desperately and you kissed him back. you felt a bright pink aura from him, you smiled against the kiss.

The sharp sting of the needle against your skin made you hiss quietly in pain. Hobie, your caring and talented boyfriend, glanced up from his work, dipping the needle into ink, concern etched on his face. "You okay, love?" he asked, his voice filled with genuine worry.

You mustered a smile and replied, "I'm fine. It just hurts a little, that's all."

Hobie's eyes searched yours, his expression still tinged with concern. "Are you sure you want to go through with this? You just had surgery. It wouldn't be a surprise if you wanted to take a break before getting a tattoo."

You shook your head determinedly. "No, Hobie. You know how much I've wanted this for years. Finally having a chest tattoo means a lot to me, and I want it."

He sighed, but a smile played at the corners of his lips. "And you're absolutely sure you want me to do it?"

"Absolutely sure," you affirmed, your voice filled with confidence and love as you gazed at your boyfriend.

He hesitated for a moment, his eyes locked with yours. "And you're sure you want me to choose the design? I mean, you've waited so long. I wouldn't want you to end up not liking it."

A mischievous grin spread across your face. "Since when are you so hesitant, Hobie? That's not the guy I know."

"I just want to make sure you'll be happy with it. This is important to you," he replied, his voice tinged with uncertainty. Slowly, he started to lightly pinch the needle into your skin. "But don't worry. I'll make sure you'll love it."

You couldn't help but giggle. "As if I could ever not love anything you create. You're such a softie sometimes."

Hobie chuckled, shaking his head. He continued with the stick and poke tattoo, humming a soft melody to himself. Every now and then, you tried to steal a glance down at your chest to catch a glimpse of the tattoo design.

"You wanted it to be a surprise, remember?" he teased, his chuckle filled with warmth. "So, keep your eyes on me, love. I'm almost done."

Time seemed to stretch longer than you had anticipated, but eventually, Hobie sighed with satisfaction and leaned back, carefully putting the needle away. He stood up, moving to hand you a mirror. "Well, what do you think?"

With a grin spreading across your face, you met his eyes and instantly recognized the design. "A spider, huh?"

Hobie's grin widened. "You like it?" he asked eagerly. "I thought it would be a unique reminder of your incredible boyfriend."

You playfully punched his shoulder. "You're such an asshole," you said, but he quickly grabbed your hand, pulling you closer.

"Don't say that now, love," he smirked. "Seriously, do you like it?"

Your eyes softened, and you couldn't hide the affection in your voice. "...I love it."

A satisfied smirk crossed Hobie's face as he pulled you into a deep, passionate kiss.

I mostly wanted this acc to be specifically for art, not rly for anything else but i need to get this off my chest. Obviously if you’ve been on twitter, you’ve probably seen a lot (and i mean a LOT) of hate towards gay ships/shippers recently, (first w togachako, then w stsg) i wanna address all the weird shit thats been happening w jjk dudebros lately. Idk what it is but they’re rly upsetti spaghetti abt even the mere thought of stsg being more than platonic besties, going so far as to shoot down any hint of them being romantically inclined in the slightest - so i thought that i’d take it upon myself to provide poof that stsg has queer, romantic subtext since ppl are being extremely obtuse abt them, all for the sake of protecting their friendship from us evil gays. (other shippers do this too but im mostly focusing on dudebros bc they’re the ones primarily acting like assholes to us for no reason, like yeah, sure, some stsgs are extremely cringey & weird but that can be said for ANY shipper in ANY fandom. When you’re in a fandom as big as this, of course there’s gonna be some bad eggs, it’s inevitable.

ok so. !!DISCLAIMER!! i do not speak japanese, so if i say something incorrect then please correct me. i’ve done enough research to be sure that what im saying is right, but im only human, and sometimes, i might be wrong. so, take what im abt to say with a grain of salt. (just in case).

first off, it should be stated that gege akutami, the creator himself, is an avid bl fan (and ik what ur thinking, ‘oh, that doesn’t mean anything! just bc u read bl, it doesn’t mean you’re likely to write gay relationships into ur own manga!’ which is true, gege HAS said that he doesn’t want to write romance in jjk. HOWEVER, as much as i love stsg & see them in a romantic light, i do definitely think that the reason why their relationship feels so ambiguous is bc gege intentionally made it that way. i think he made their relationship up to the individual’s interpretation. And for ppl who’re thinking ‘why would he do that?’ well, he doesn’t like writing romance, right? so this is the next best thing he could do. and also i have to point out (in case ppl get defensive), gege literally does not and will never care if ppl ship stsg or not, again, he’s a bl fan and if anything - all of the evidence that im going to talk abt proves that he most likely ships stsg himself, so… 🤷‍♂️

2. i’d like to talk about s2’s op & ed which are HEAVILY romantically coded. If you don’t know, the op was written to be from gojo’s pov & vice versa with geto for the ed, the op in particular is a very special case. The song is explicitly abt reminiscing the past , wishing gojo had noticed geto’s sorrow sooner and it also mentions a ‘silent love’. the word ‘love’ being used here is ‘koi’ which EXCLUSIVELY means romantic love… now, since this song was specifically written with gojos pov in mind, doesnt it seem kind of weird to have the word for ‘romantic love’ in there?? (koi can be referred to as ‘young love’ or having a ‘crush’ on someone…. hm… ThAts WeIrD.) instead of using ‘ai’??? which would make more sense if stsg were just besties bc ai is more general and can be used towards friends & family.

and then ofc there’s the whole theme of ‘blue spring’. director park (who directed s1 & jjk 0) has stated in an interview that geto was gojo’s last warm spring of youth. now if you dont know, spring of youth/blue spring means a time in a young person’s life where they have hope and happiness… in animanga, it often means falling in love too… so judging by this, it seems very likely that gojo perhaps developed feelings for geto during their teen years together. Director park has also mentioned in an interview that gojo & geto’s relationship goes beyond ‘friendship’ & being ‘familial’. 👀

3. another clear indicator of gojo being in love w geto is the whole ‘love is the most twisted curse of all’ spiel he said to yuta. ‘but he could mean platonic love!!’ idk, considering yuta had romantic feelings for rika and hes discussing them with gojo & gojo knows this, dont u think it’d be a bit weird for him to mention geto here too? if they were just best friends?? (that’s not even mentioning the fact that gojo & geto’s relationship is supposed to parallel yuta & rika’s in jjk 0…)

4. and then ofc we have gojo saying his last words to geto, which were censored. now, correct me if im wrong but the ONLY times ive ever seen inaudible dialogue being mouthed to another character is when its a love confession mostly seen in romance anime. and like, there’s also no need at all for gojo’s last words to be censored in the first place. (although, i do suspect that his last words may play a major role in the future when he faces kenjaku.) what solidifies it for me being a love confession is that, 1. geto blushed after gojo said whatever it is that he said to him, (only in the manga tho, idk why they didnt make him blush in the movie but its whatever.) and geto replies with, depending on the translation, ‘at least curse me a little at the very end’ or ‘you should at least curse me at the end’. which heavily implies that gojo said something extremely sweet & heartfelt to him as his final words. and if thats not enough to convince u that gojo’s last words were indeed a love confession.. gojo’s eng VA HIMSELF, said that his last words when translated into english means three words… im not saying that gojo’s last words were specifically ‘i love you’ or anything like that, but i am definitely sure that whatever he said was a love confession/something very romantic in nature. bc why else would gege choose to draw geto blushing?? that wouldnt make any sense.

gojo also killed geto on the 24th of december, which in japan, is the most romantic day of the year & couples in japan treat christmas eve as kinda like a separate valentines day. even in the jjk manga recently, gojo offered to fight on dec 24th & kenjaku mocks him by saying how romantic it is… even gege himself acknowledges how romantic christmas eve is in japan, this enforces the idea that gege must’ve chosen dec 24th for a reason, bc why else would he have picked an extremely romantic date as not only the day where he fights kenjaku who is inhabiting geto’s body, but also making it the day geto died?? yall have to remember that all of this has been planned out by gege, none of it is a coincidence… he didn’t just come up with all of this on the spot, he’s been planning this stuff & thinking about it for literal years.

5. and finally, probably the BIGGEST piece of evidence there is, geto & gojo’s character songs. gege chose romantic break up songs for BOTH of them.. like im sorry but if stsg were rly truly only best friends, he would not have chosen those songs for them, it just doesnt make any sense.

conclusion: obviously, this probably isn’t every subtextually romantic thing about stsg’s relationship but these are all the things that i’ve noticed. again, if you see their relationship as purely platonic then that’s fine but don’t be assholes to people for seeing romantic subtext that’s quite clearly there. if i have missed anything out then please let me know and i’ll edit them into the post.

hi im gonna complain about people seeing hank and connor as father and son under the break so if you see them like that maybe dont read. like you do you but if this is gonna upset you then. dont fuckin read it lmao

cropped out the person who made these tags because i dont even know them and also im not a fucking asshole thats gonna put someone on blast like that but. this is the EXACT problem i have with hank and connor as father/son. i dont even mind connor seeing hank as a mentor or something like that (even tho i personally disagree with using the term "father figure"), but it's the "connor is like a new chance for hank to be a dad" that fucking gets me. do you not see all the different CANON reasons why that works completely against hank's character, and takes away connor's say in the whole situation?? hank IS a dad. he's a dad to a dead boy. basically his whole fuckin personality is him mourning over the loss of cole because he loves him SO much. you think he's gonna cling to the first mentee he's had since cole's death and immediately have him replace his dead fucking child? that's like, making hank give into some kind of fucked up delusion. that's mentol illness luv. imagine misunderstanding a character THAT badly.

and that isnt even getting into the whole "you're taking away all of connor's agency as a fully grown adult man" thing. he's not a child. he's an android that was activated only a few months ago, sure, but he was literally created to be like 27-33 or something. he deals with guns. he looks at pole dancers at the eden club. he works with murder scenes. you literally ARE taking away all of his agency as an adult man by seeing him as some little puppyboy that needs a dad to take care of him.

i mean of course you can take these characters and do whatever you want with them outside of canon, they're basically just barbie dolls lmao. but to claim that it's CANON that hank would think of connor as his own literal son, that he thinks that before the game's even over?? absolutely fucking not. those jokes of hank being like "who's my son?" and connor answering "me:)" and hank's relationship bar goes up, it's cute i guess but if that happened in the game? if that was a real choice in the game? hank would've shot connor without a second fucking thought. hell no hank would've thought connor was anything CLOSE to what cole was to him. hank straight up would've murdered the real connor and not even been upset about it when sixty told him so. david cage can eat my entire ass for agreeing that they're father and son, he just said that because he's a homophobic piece of shit, and that's literally the ONLY thing ever to point at them having that sort of relationship.

if you read my tags youll have noticed that i wholeheartedly agreed with what the op said. 100%. people need to step out of their own little experience and relate to other's etc. that was my point too. i simply went on a, maybe unfortunate, yes, tangent in reaction to my prevs tags, as im prone to do.

it is entirely possible that they were too strongly worded - im not very good at english and im having a bit of a shitty day. im sorry if i insulted anyone - that was absolutely not what i wanted to do. (sounds like a youtuber apology video here with all the excuses) i create things myself and i totally respect others who do, because it takes a ton of work and passion and time and energy and stuff. and if you took a look at this blog youll notice too that there are a whole bunch of reader fics that ive reblogged and enjoyed tremendously (in fact some of my faves in this fandom are reader fics. i made several fanart for a reader fic, thats how much i HATE them)

its never my intent to shit on people enjoying or creating things, apologies for that. but uh, you know, maybe you could check you language, because right now you seem like an asshole here, too, if im being quite honest.

tldr: i dont hate reader fic authors (bless all fanfic authors out there, youre what keeps the world running, fr), i dont hate reader fic readers; i dont hate any fic authors or readers.

You aren't going to like this... but the person you bullied to near suicide is talking about what you done. Exposing the whole situation and how you undermined their trauma for an AU, how you essentially moved on and gave your half ass apology which everyone agreed wasn't sincere at all. There's been rounds on discord servers and a now deleted post on reddit with screenshots and everything, courtesy of the bullied person's friends who have said that they tried to educated you on why your behavior wasn't good (they sent screemshots of the asks they sent you, which had no insults either so they weren't the assholes). The bullied OP never gave your name, but another user recognised you and revealed it in the comments after the post was beginning to pick up attention. OP deleted. But basically OP said they understand they acted irrational, but everyone pointed out that it was you who victim blamed them for an AU. They even made one good point, where they said that it was very hurtful to see that you keep undermining this whole situation too by claiming it was "all for a stupid AU" when OP was really upset at you not taking their abuse seriously. I personally am glad you changed, but I'm seriously very disappointed in you. Because it sounds like your version of the whole thing is completely different from what you been saying. This happened a week ago, and I wanted to tell you sooner but I was scared and didn't want to get involved. But your usernames, both old and new, keep popping up at forums about bullies. Take care.

thank you for telling me this. i definitely reacted very badly at the time, and its definitely my fault for acting so dismissive. im sorry my behavior has come off as dismissive, its just as my mom told me, constantly apologizing doesn't solve things, and it doesn't make people feel better. i never would wish bullying apon anyone as a person who has gone through it, but i caused it to someone else, and i find it hard to forgive myself for that. i know the best thing i can do now is to learn from my mistakes and do better. thats the best we can as imperfect people, right?

i just clocked why sometimes but not all the time when i see someone being like, "yes but this group isnt the one doing this" or something along those lines, i get so annoyed but again, only sometimes.

like for example if someone's saying like, idk, "girls got the not like other girls syndrome bc they want to be accepted by guys around them" and someone swoop in being, "guys werent the one making them do that though" am more or less just like. yea. yea, i get what the op was saying but this commenter isnt wrong and thus not annoying.

but if the op was like, "our culture and society place so much value in male approval that a lot of girls developed not like other girls syndrome for that approval" and then a person swoops in giving the same counter as before am like, oh my god shut up literally reread the whole thing again.

cause like, am personally more of the mindset that if youre speaking in public thats on you to minimise as much potential misunderstanding as possible. i mean it's also still on you on private convos but like those are usually more with people you already know so it's whatever, they prolly already got what you meant. and unless the person is a massive asshole clarification is prolly just "huh wdym" "like, this, yknow??" kinda deal. but in public, or with strangers, since they dont know anything about you, and with the tendency of people easier to get confrontational, disclaimers or just clear phrasing in general is like, a courtesy ig. less headache for you too; if someone misunderstands what you said it's easier to be like, "i literally cannot be any clearer than this, this is a you problem" when you've communicated what you meant well enough.

I like how you interpret benrey as a guy who just wants love and affection. A lot of people tend to forget that despite benreys weirdness, before Gordon came along apparently benrey was friends with almost all his coworkers and let them come over and play games. During gmans confrontation with Gordon, benrey interupts and harrases gman (a very SCARED gman) for his playstation information. And at the end of it, when gman leaves, benrey grumbles about how he just wants to play games with people. I'm pretty sure the only person benrey can't figure out is Gordon. Because benrey got along pretty well with everybody else except Gordon. People say that Yeah benrey gets along with science team bc they are also supernatural, but not everybodys supernatural at black mesa? There's at least some humans that have gotten along with benrey. An obvious answer: Gordon gives a lot of mixed signals and also over reacts A LOT. it foils benreys weirdness, makes it more obvious. Gordon points out things that Yeah, makes benrey seem strange. To anyone else, benrey is just a chill dude. To gordon, benrey is a cosmic entity thing that wont leave him alone. And I'm also not saying benrey isn't weird, or doesn't understand things sometimes. But if benrey did have a lot of friends like he said he did, then he must've done something right! Gordon is like a lil messed up guy! Jumps to the worst conclusions all the time, And with benreys chill attitude or impassive tone, that of course would clash with someone like Gordon. Which is what makes them interesting to write. Makes them interesting to explore their dynamic in many ways I think

god i love getting asks like these. benrey is genuinely a pretty normal guy, weird eldritch powers notwithstanding.....like, him getting along with the other AIs isnt really a consequence of them all having weird abilities, like you said. tommy and darnold dont even have anything fantastical going on! theyre both just normal guys......at worst, benreys awkward toward others. gordons the only one he pushes around, and he only seems to push gordon around b/c gordon initiated an antagonistic relationship by being unable to provide his passport (and then immediately doing his gordon thing of "being belligerent and rude for super flimsy reasons)

this exact point is what i try to drive home in this latest chapter of co-op game theory: benreys awkward and absentminded and, yeah, a little weird, but to an observer that isnt gordon, his behaviors pretty straightforward. he threw a shitfit b/c gordon was being super fucking rude to him from the moment alyx met them! and she may not have known exactly why he jumped to (what seemed to be) the nuclear option, but gordons not even self aware enough to realize that hes being a major asshole. and the reasons he gives for acting that way only make sense to him! to anybody else, theyre borderline incomprehensible

but like.....if youre looking at it through gordons eyes, like youre basically forced to do by virtue of the first-person POV in hlvrai, its hard to see a perspective beyond "benrey is a freak and a jerk and a bonafide Bad Guy". which is why im having a lot of fun looking at them from every other characters' perspective

gordon might have a point that benreys done some bad stuff, but if it was all just a game/simulation, by his own admission......how do you justify that enmity to someone else? sure, he cut off your arm (in the thing that you freely admit isnt real, and is just a simulation), but you killed him. you won. isnt that enough?

its neat stuff and i know i talk about basically the same shit ad infinitum but thats why i like writing them so much!

yeah so their higherups basically gave them a job that if they fucked up theyd be stripped of any and all powers because they're both AWFUL

tubbo got cursed to physically not be able to be awake for more than three hours

originally, it was going to be all day, but ranboo defended him and said he'd take part of the curse for himself

so now ranboo is cursed so that all of his emotions are connected with tubbo's!

all of them.

all feelings of happiness, sadness, inept terror -- it's why he freaks out so much whenever tubbo gets in danger,,,it's because tubbo is freaking out too.

ranboo knows for a fact that wilbur and specifically tommy can take away tubbo's curse but just don't, which is why he has so much animostiy specifically towards them whenever the subject comes up

benchtrio + wilbur's relationship:

tommy actually really likes tubbo and ranboo but tries not to talk to them too much because if he does he'll get attached and probably end up taking away their curses because he has the biggest fucking heart

but then he'll get in trouble!

so he keeps his distance and sends wilbur to check up on the beeduo, because he knows wilbur won't bend to them

wilbur is a lot better at being sympathetic but also not twisting to their wants.

1. heres the thing to me. i think a lot of us love a good messed up character, we love it when theyre assholes, who doesnt? theyre fun to read/watch, the issue in LO is rachel made sure to set up persephone/hades/hera/eros as can do no wrong perfect beings who uwu feel so bad for the stuff theyre forced to do or anything bad they do is excused off vague feelings or someone else pushing them too far. if rachel wanted complex characters then fine, why didnt she set them up like that from the start?

2. Something I don't get is how Minthe “gets off on making Hades miserable.” Like... I know some toxic and abusive people act on intent and are calculated but look me in the eyes and tell me Minthe wakes up every day specifically to make Hades miserable.

From OP: Yeah, I have no idea why RS said that. Considering RS also said Minthe and Hades do care for each other.

3. LO fans cant claim to be feminists when they say the most misogynistic things about Minthe, Thetis, Aphrodite, and Leto because they aren't Persephone and/or Hera. They seriously cheered on Minthe being crippled, they call Aphrodite a slut and a whore all the time, they say Leto should be tortured, and are now calling for Thetis to be maritally r//ped for the sin of no being Hera. I'm not saying they have to like them, but they can't say stuff like that and still be so gendered in their hatred.

From OP: Literally the other day, someone sent me a screenshot of someone in a LO server saying Thetis should be married off to Apollo...and people reacted with the laughing emoji :|

It's stupid to me how RS is clearly setting up Zeus as the egotistical maniac who just wants to punish poor Persephone as if 1) committing and then covering up mass murder is ... ok? because Persephone does it? but more so 2) we already know her and Hades gets married, she becomes Queen, and won't face any actual punishment, so why waste so much time trying to push Zeus will punish her when we've already known for years she won't be? Like I know Rachel can't stand Zeus but this is just stupid.

6. I'm honestly shocked Rachel doesn't realize part of the reason Zeus slept around was propaganda? You can go on his wiki page right now and see the vast majority are just random people, and that's because it was used by kings to claim those were their ancestors and they have "divine authority" to be the king. Hell, even the immortals he had outside of Hera, at least according to Hesiod, were all BEFORE they were married, so doubly he's not at fault? He's still a horn-dog, but he's not evil.

7. didnt persephone say she wants to atone for her crimes and get punished? why is hades going out of his way to bully and threaten witnesses in court and even phsyically grab zeus? because that implies he doesnt care about what she wants and thinks shes too stupid to make her own decisions and he has to "protect" her. also if this is live broadcasted in universe, does he realize how even more of the UW citizens will hate him more for being so irrational and cruel in such a serious situation?

8. im sorry, i love a good simp too, but hades burning down every bridge he has (which is pretty limited, esp in the underworld) for some teenager he met like a month before at best is so??? bad?? like thats not charming or romantic, its showing a deeply disturbing sense of ownership from him over her and him not actually respecting her wants and decisions. also it just makes him look like a jackass who is acing like a bratty child being told "no" over a respected king of the underworld.

9. (REC) This comic just re-launched on Featured from Canvas but you guys should read LMLY! It's by a BIPOC female creator and it's a sweet story is about a mixed-race couple and it's such a nice, pretty read. I read it on Canvas and it seems to not have changed much about it, so it it's a really nice read! I highly recommend it!

10. can we just point out in that confession ask that it's super ableist to say hephaestus is flawed because of his disability and rachel is promoting that with her same face characters? bc even in the conservative ancient greece held hephaestus to be more perfect than even the best human, so idk how they think saying that is ok?

11. The plot is still a hot mess but I feel like the art has improved drastically in the last 3 chapters. The characters have greater internal consistency, variance in facial features between characters and the composition of some panels is just phenomenal (RS can’t anatomy for shit but not her compositions are amazing). I especially love the panel of Hades floating while defending Perse. I really hate how he’s violent towards Zeus though… he’s just as nasty as we recall smh mans never gonna change

1. New OP again! Just when I was getting used to this one. This one is thick with Ulquihime vibes, BTW.

2. Ichi vs Ulqui, go! Or cut away to Renji I guess. Thats OK. I’m not mad or anything.

3. OK a Rukia fight! I can deal with that. If we must delaythe inevitable more - IMMEDIATE CUTBACK TO THE MAIN FIGHT OK GOOD THIS ARC HAS MADE ME PARANOID.

4. Ulqui is good, BTW. Doesn’t take him long to land a hit on Ichi. I mean, you know. Penultimate boss. He’d have to be good.

5. More of Renji and chad. I mean, I like you guys but you’re not fighting Ulquiorra and I came for Ichi vs Ulquiorra so let’s GET BACK TO THAT.

6. Good, we do. Ulqui is all ‘why so strong’ and spits out a lot of the usual reasons, including ‘Orihime’, which is probably it. He calls her “One of us” which is interesting. Like, dude she didn’t jOIN you. Are you just hoping to recruit her?

7. Ooh he’s getting into Ichi’s head and making him wonder if Hime turned on them all! Mind game Ulqui. Anyway Ichi basically says what I said, that it’s Hime’s power, kimi no chikara janai ka and all that.

8. They trade some more badass blows, both looking absolutely gorgeous while doing so. Surprisingly Ichi holds pretty well. He’s moving fast and actually gets him! Nice!

9. Ichi speculates that Ulqui is either turning more human, or he’s turning more hollow. The former observation really pisses Ulqui off.

10. Also both of their shirts ripped open. Just, because apparently. Anyway THIS ISN’T EVEN ULQUI’S FINAL FORM APPARENTLY so the fight’s gonna continue. OR OMG WHAT. ORIHIME TAKES A HAND. SHIELDS ICHI HOLY CRAP. NOW THAT’S A CLIFFHANGER.

11. The recap for 268 tells me the shirt opening thing was because Ichi sliced Ulqui’s shirt open. Um. What. Anyway back to Orihime saving the day.

12. Ulqui is getting inside Hime’s head, damn. But fortunately Ichi cuts him off and thanks Hime. Thanks for being our matter-of-fact protag, Ichi.

13. “You’re quite talkative. I thought you were more silent” says Ichi. That’s true, he is pretty chatty. And also gets to stand there in wind billowing from Ichi’s attack with the sexy open shirt and billowing hair, because why not. Anyway FIGHT GOES ON.

14. Hime gets fucking kidnapped outta nowhere by, i think the evil lady from before? Damn, don’t take her away from the plot!

15. Uryu rejoins Chad and Renji. I think as long as they’re together I’ll call them the Three Stooges.

16. Evil Lady is calling Hime a ‘monster’, holy shit. Ichi notices and tries to help but Ulqui has other ideas. He tells Evil Lady #1 that he wasn’t saving them. And LOL Ichi saves Move! and Ulqui says “MAKE ME”. Wow Ulqui. Poetic.

17. Evil Lady #2 refuses to hurt Hime! Yay! You’re downgraded from Evil Lady #2 to Anti Villain! She’s grateful to her for saving her life, nice. (Also you two don’t see the contradiction in injuring someone with healing powers?

18. Evil Lady #1 is unclear if she’s planning to kill Hime or make out with her based on her pose. Ichi gets hurt trying to help her by Ulqui.

19. We cut over to Rukia again. Ruki ILU but this had better be good. Anyway we do rejoin them, but add in some weird big new Espada who is nowhere near is intriguing as Ulqui.

20. Ulqui apparently agrees with me because he tells him to eff off. Please listen to him dude. I need my Ichi vs Ulqui Showdown. Oh and he tries to kill Anti Villainess and calls them ‘bitches’, so he’s effing cancelled and I want him to effing die.

21. Like, I don’t even like Evil Lady but he beat her up now and so I want him off my screen. Thankfully we get some drama between Hime and Evil Lady as a result. Hime heals her because she’s The Best. And even shields her.

22. EVIL LADY SAVES HIME?!!? OK NOW I WILL CALL HER HER ACTUAL NAME. LOLY. She’s cool now. (Is she like Hime’s version of Grimmjow? I think she is.) She does the Vegeta thing of “Only one allowed to defeat her” about Hime and transforms. AWESOME.

23. The Giant Asshole sadly oneshots her. Dammit. Just die already you’re interrupting the plot. We get more angst between Hime and Loly, which is starting to become RivalFlirting.
