a/n: hihi thank you for requesting !! i feel like this concept would've worked better as headcannons but i don't write those so i just made a fluffy scenario about izuku making breakfast for his bf. i tried to make it obvious that reader is taller than izuku but idk how well i did. i hope you enjoy it !! also sorry this post is kinda late i forgot to schedule one for today but i'm hoping to keep posting daily

you groan, leaning over to turn off your alarm. rolling onto your back, you close your eyes again, clinging to some remains of sleep before you officially have to get up and prepare for the day. the space next to you is cool. izuku must’ve gotten up before you. it’s not uncommon for him to wake up earlier, silently rolling out of bed and completing paperwork, either for you or him before making breakfast. in the kitchen, you can barely hear the sound of the stove. your dog’s collar clinks with each step he takes as he pushes his way into your room, walking over to you. you gently nudge his nose away, finally pushing the blankets off of you and getting out of bed.

your dog is quick to follow, bounding after you as you make your way into the kitchen. the sun is just beginning to rise, signaling the start of the day. izuku stands with his back to you, tending to pancakes on the stove. beside him, a pot of coffee brews, two mugs already set out in preparation. you smile, walking over and wrapping your arms around izuku’s waist. he jumps a little before turning up to look at you. “good morning,” he murmurs, leaning upwards to press a kiss against your jaw.

“morning.” your throat is scratchy when you speak. you rest your head on top of his, watching as he turns back to the food.

“drink something, your voice is raspy.” you hum, ignoring izuku’s instructions and leaning down to hide your face into his neck instead. “ah, honey, that tickles,” izuku laughs, trying to squirm away from you. you chuckle, holding him in place, arms still wrapped around his waist.

“yeah?” izuku turns off the stove, splitting the freshly made pancakes between two plates.

“you know my neck is sensitive,” he turns in your arms, wrapping his arms around your neck.

“that’s why i kiss you there.” izuku playfully rolls his eyes, pulling you down into a sweet kiss.

“come on, breakfast is ready.” you press a kiss against his forehead before letting go, following izuku into the dining room.

So many plotpoints I just don't understand in this arc. Why have bkg die? Why have him fight afo? Why have izuku lose his arms? What purpose has any of it served???? At all???????

Todorki and ochakos fights were handled so well and streamlined and benefited their characters and arcs but bkgs and dekus have been a mess all bcus hori is a coward who won't just let them fight together bcus ig save to win and win to save meant nothing at all

Why have bkg die?

I think it's pretty clear from the way that whole thing was framed that the purpose of Katsuki dying was symbolic. This is a staple of Japanese drama running all the way back to kabuki. It is a trope for a main character to die to shed their mortal incarnation and come back to life as their deified form. Katsuki's death runs perfectly parallel to Tomura's from the PLW arc right down to the part where they are both responsible for their own resurrections. It's probably one of the best cases I can think of where a character's death actually did further that same character's arc without fridging them for the sake of someone else.

Why have [Katsuki] fight AFO?

Because AFO was set up as a "what if" scenario or cautionary tale for Katsuki, the other side to his "villains and heroes are two sides of the same coin" storyline. AFO in his physical form has a different character arc and story utility from AFO the quirk vestige. He provided a lot of backstory that allows us to infer the subtlety of how Katsuki is likely some sort of reincarnation of Kudou, the mechanics of which we will never need to revisit because they're unimportant. It was about karma and personal growth. It was about showcasing how Katsuki is an heir to many legacies, All Might's included.

Why have Izuku lose his arms?

Again, it's symbolic. It's been foreshadowed pretty heavily that Izuku would risk losing his arms in reaching out to save someone. This was a demonstration of his willingness to take on that risk. It also provides a moment for Eri to get in on the "everyone contributes a little bit to the fight" action all the other characters have been allowed to have. We don't even know yet what state Izuku will actually be in when this is all over, so it'd be premature to jump to any major conclusions about all of this. The story may still have a lot to say about this.

What purpose has any of it served???? At all???????

Denki Kaminari

Who's to say he doesn't boop you first? Anyways, he would be all giggly when you boop him, adding adorable sound effects. If heart eyes was a human, it would be him.

Eijiro Kirishima

I can just imagine him finding your gesture to be adorable. Especially if you're shorter than him. He would reach out and boop you back with a sweet smile on his face. And if you giggled when he did it, he would melt.

Fumikage Tokoyami

Tokoyami would not know what to do if he got booped. He might malfunction. Dark Shadow on the other hand would try to boop you back but not in the way you think. He would boop his beak against your nose.

Hanta Sero

He's a romantic man, so when you booped his nose, he would reach up and grab your hand and entwining his fingers with yours. He would pull you in close and tilt your head up so that he could kiss you.

Hitoshi Shinso

He would be a little confused at first as he was lost in his thoughts. Once he sees that it was you, his cheeks would turn pink. He would reach out and pat your head.

"Hey, Y/N."

"Hi! I'm glad I got your attention!"

Izuku Midoriya

When you boop him, he would give you the biggest smile. He will blind you and make you fall deeper in love with him. He's just so cute and charming after all. He would look at you with adoration. He might even hug you so you don't see how red his cheeks are getting.

Katsuki Bakugou

"What the-?"

Katsuki would not realize what you were doing until you boop him as he was busy talking to Kirishima. It would take him a few seconds to register what happened before turning to you. He would look at you blankly, confused.

Shoto Todoroki

"Y/N?"

Shoto would be confused when you do it. Honestly, the boy would just stand there and blink at you. You would giggle at him and repeat the action.

"You're so cute!"

"What is this?"

"I booped you. Have you never been booped before?"

"No?"

"Suddenly I have a new life mission. I must boop you for the rest of my life."

"Is this a marriage proposal?"

"It wasn't, but it is now."

Tamaki Amajiki

He gets really shy when he's realized that you've booped his nose. Why did you have to do something so cute, Y/N? He would blush and give a small smile.

"When you're with me, I don't even notice all the other potatoes."

Tenya Iida

"Nothing can distract me from this-"

"DISTRACTION BOOP!"

Iida would turn to you and melt glare at you, while you'd be all smiles. He would sigh and boop you back, struggling and failing to hide his smile.

"You're a bad influence, Y/N."

Bakugou Katsuki has pet rats.

Mina and Sero peer pressured him into buying them.

Izuku named them the most outrageous names like Twinkle Toes and Rat Might and Bakugou only allowed it because come on its Izuku. You can't say no to him its impossible.

Denki and Kirishima scream when the ratties crawl down their tops.

Uraraka accidentally used her quirk on them once and they were running around in the air in the common room.

Shoto randomly comes and steals them for cuddles (he's a touched deprived, neglected and abused child ok. he needs rat cuddles)

Mineta gets chomped on by them (not because he's tasty, just because the ratties don't stand creepy perverts)

He knew about it beforehand, obviously. Izuku made sure he knew about everything, including the little black cat you cared for at home. Long before he set his plan into action to kidnap you he had made sure to cat proof his apartment and buy the exact same bed, toys and food for your little feline. Maybe if he took you both you'd feel more comfortable and less threatened by the situation.

Katsuki Bakugo

He hated the damn thing. At first he couldn’t care less, leaving it to hiss at him in your own apartment while he dragged your unconscious state back to his. But your whining was starting to annoy him more than the cat would, and since he would never lift a single finger to actually hurt you, he might as well get the cat as leverage to keep you in your place. He can always get you a new one if the other gets into an unfortunate.. accident.

Shigaraki Tomura

Absolutely not. Tomura might be sitting at his table and playing games most of the time, but your attention should be solely focused on him. He’s extremely jealous ; clingy when he’s in the mood and would, without a doubt, get rid of your cat completely before he’d ever think about getting it for you. Maybe a stuffed plushie if you beg him nicely enough, but that's about it.

One down another to go! Kacchan last thoughts before passing out really gotta be Izuku. And of course we can never get away from the damn bakucorpse image!

They really can not get out of each other. Always thinking of each other. One half of the duo has completed his battle. Win to save. Now all we need js save to win so how is Izuku doing...

Not okay! Omg he really just yoinked danger sense that's a top 3 quirk that has saved him from so much is he going to be okay. I actually do got some theories though for this.

So one I think we might get not just Izuku saving Tomura but everyone else. Like getting all these quirks is going to bite him in the ass and he will loose because all the vestige will basically do improptue therapy session on him trying to get to him. We could even have the angsty reunion with him and Nana. Maybe that what breaks him down and gives way for Izuku to get through to him. Then since we set a president of quirks coming back to there user he gets to still have a piece of OFA with him. Something as little as what Katsuki has.

But what if this is the beginning of him going back to being quirkless. I never knew how to feel about that hc but I also see the thematic appeal. OFA was made to defeat AFO so when that's done their mission is complete and they can and should finally rest; Izuku wanted to be a hero since the beginning and seeing him be one without a quirk will be thematic.

Can a quiekless person be a hero? Ir was posed at the beginning and the answer was given that yes as long as you get lucky in life. As long as the right person finds you. Shaggy grabs everyone, if he has OFA and at the end its Izuku the quirkless child now more confident and strong then ever then yeah he would be the biggest hero quirk or not. It works even better as time and time again BHNA has made it a theme to say that it doesn't matter where a quirk or what a quirk was given its part of you you give it meanin you make it your own. Quirk or no quirk, villan or not, dangerous, mutant what ever label society gives you it doesn't matter because it's your own. My biggest gripe with that ending will always be that this is Izuku's quirk as much as it was All Mights and the rest. I just think that it would be so heartbreaking to take part of him away. But... it does work. It shows that at the end of the day like with Toga, like with Shoto at the end of the day your not defined by the quirk.

It helped him, saved him but in the end maybe it really wasn't his to ever keep. Maybe all he needed was the confidence the will to be a hero so in the end maybe all that it takes to defeat Shirgaki is himself.

He might even stare at you lovingly for a few minutes, But he'd only realize that he'd be doing it a bit too long when you'd giggle and hug him. You'd tell him to take a picture and then you would make it his lock screen.

Tamaki Amajiki
