💌 ⤻ ft. THE CEO, THE CHEERLEADER, THE BASEBALL PLAYER, THE ACADEMIC RIVAL
—> Headcanons of an established relationship with the yanderes!
⤻ reader is gender neutral, reader for the cheerleader and the baseball player are the same, yandere, fluff (ignore the red flags), red flags (you actually can't ignore them), drugging, stalking, possessive behaviour, stealing of personal property, invasion of privacy, obsessive behaviour, photos without consent, slightly suggestive.
note: my first joint post with all the yanderes I have so far! this is honestly a celebratory post for me reaching a 100 followers. thank you so much for all your support <33 this post is very light on the yandere content, I'll probably make a post just inclusive of their more yandere tendencies. first post of 2024!

💌 ⤻ THE CEO, ADRIAN HOUDE
— Despite his professional exterior and PR-like smile, Adrian really melts for you. His love is passionate akin to a flame, and obsessive like a forest fire.
— Though he certainly has urges to tie you up and just never let you leave his luxury apartment, he is one of the most tolerant and sane one of all the other yandere characters.
— A gentleman. His grandma was a large part of his life, and he practically grew up with her teaching him how to treat a lady properly. He will never do anything untoward towards you and always asks whether it's okay to kiss you.
"May I kiss you?" He asked softly, his hands wrapped around your waist, his long pale fingers rubbing circles around your hip as he looked up at you expectantly. For such a ruthless man in the business world, he was like putty in your arms.
You smiled at him and nodded your head with a goofy grin as he leaned in.
Slowly, his lips claimed yours, suckling on your lower lip gently and sensually. His hands were bolder than usual, gripping you close to him on his couch. "You're such a gentleman." You whispered into his lips, making him smirk.
If only you knew the type of fantasies he had where he wasn't.
— His love language is physical touch. His hands always graze yours when no one is watching, his body pressed against yours in the elevator even when it's only the two of you. It's tamer at work, but at home, but the moment you get home, his hands are all over you.
— Prefers to keep the relationship private till engagement. His grandmother — sweet as she can be — is just like the rest of his family, judgemental when it comes to spouses. He wants to be in a place where no one can contest your love for each other. Even if they do, he's not going to change.
— Easily jealous. If you even breathe in the direction of another employee — regardless of gender because he sees anyone who interacts with you as a threat — he summons you into his office like it's time for an execution.
"Are you crazy?" He hissed at you, hands slamming you against the edge of his desk as he scooped you onto the glass table. "Doing that in front of me? Do you know how many documents I'm supposed to be looking through today?" He asked, not giving you the chance to answer by gripping your shoulders and hair, slightly tugging at it. It wasn't hard enough to be hurtful, but there was a slight sting.
His eyes were crazed as they darted between your lips and your eyes, glaring at them, as if trying to find a hint of interest in the person that had patted you on the back. What were seconds of staring felt like hours as his grip tightened.
"No, no. You're not leaving this office until I know you belong to me, and only me."
— Afterwards, though, he will be remorseful for snapping at you. He knows it's not your fault. You would never leave him, but he knows how naive you can be — even if you aren't — so he just wants to protect you! Everyone else is in the wrong, clearly.
Adrian's hand soothed down your back as he kissed your cheeks. "I'm sorry, mon chéri." He whispered as he ducked his head back into the curve of your neck. "I know I wasn't being a gentleman by getting mad at you... this isn't how my grandmother raised me to be." He sighed, disappointed in himself.
"It's fine." You promised, even if you were still a bit shaken up by his terrifying behaviour.
"I'm sorry." He whispered.
How sorry could he actually be, though? He always did this and he always enjoyed the blush on your face afterwards.
— Although he buys you your favourite flowers, he does typically buy you roses as well. He is a traditional man, after all. (Unless you dislike roses, like me-)
— His nicknames for you are a mix between endearing English nicknames and romantic French Nicknames that make you shiver whenever he speaks: My love, my muse, little dressmaker, mon chéri, mon ange, chaton.
— If you can't tell, all his nicknames typically have 'my' in front. It's a subtle way of possessing you all for himself.
— Even if you both lived together, he would still steal your belongings like you had no idea he had a crush on you. Specifically, pens or your lotion or perfume if you use any. If you have journals, just know that it will be stolen to be read through once every week. Every thought belongs to him; all of you belong to him.
"Don't forget that, mon ange."
💌 ⤻ THE CHEERLEADER, KATIE WILLIAMS
— Always drags you to her games. However, she makes it very clear that you're there to watch her, not the team.
"Were your eyes on me the entire time, pom-pom?" She asked eagerly as she leaned against you, pressing a kiss to your sensitive neck.
"You weren't looking at Jesper, were you? You're only allowed to look at me, okay?" She insisted as you nodded, too tired from the cheering you did for the cheerleader to protest.
— Every weekend, she insists on a date. It doesn't need to be a fancy place but it can just simply be cuddling on the couch and watching a move. (Psst, her favourite movie is Jennifer's Body.)
— She can't cook very well, but she'll try, just for you! Most of the time, it's you who has to take over the cooking, though. Honestly, you're much better at cooking than she'll ever be. If you manage to burn water, she'll somehow catch it on fire.
— Very decent at baking, though! She likes making cookies for you. Which may or may not be laced with some sleeping pills. Or some other drug that will make you more... relaxed as she snoops through your belongings.
— Her nicknames for you are all very cutesy and girly, to the point some of her teammates cringe at them: pom-pom, kitten, cinnamon roll, sponge cake.
— Her love language is words of affirmation. She just loves praising you, okay? She just needs to praise you. I mean, you're literally perfect.
"Your hair is like- so pretty." She commented, playing with your locks of hair, running her fingers through it as her eyes focused on each strand; obsessed. "I can't believe I'm dating someone with such nice hair." She blurted out, which made you laugh.
"What?" You chuckled.
"You know what I mean, I just love you so much. You're the best thing that's ever happened to me."
"I feel sorry for you if that's the case." You attempted to joke, but for the next hour, she made sure you knew you were the best with her actions and words.
— The easily jealous type. When she's jealous, she wraps her arms around your waist and pulls you in, making sure you can't escape.
— Likes to spray perfume over your clothes so everyone knows you belong to her and only her. She goes to crazy lengths to ensure no one has the same perfume as her so that it'll be clear who you are with.
"Oh? You think [y/n]'s copying my style?" She asked one of the cheerleaders, a giddy smile on her face. "Why?"
"I mean, I get that you're their girlfriend, but she's kind of smelling like you now too. Isn't that a bit creepy?" Katie simply smiled at the comment and told her to mind her own business. How dare someone insinuate that you're creepy? Even if you were creepy, she'd love you. Like a small thing like that could stop her.
💌 ⤻ THE BASEBALL PLAYER, JESPER HARGREAVES
— The definition of a golden retriever. He is always clingy to you, and wants your attention almost all the time.
— Of all the characters, he is possibly the one who will resort to violence the most when it comes to you.
— His love language is a mixture of quality time and physical touch.
"Where are you going?" Jesper whined as he tried to grab at your waist. "Don't leave... I only just came." That was a complete lie, Jesper had been here with you for hours, skipping practice just so he could hang out with his darling.
"I need to get to the library to study for this test." You tried to reason with him.
"The library? But you can just study here! I promise I'll be quiet, and I won't bother you!" He whimpered, gripping onto you tighter.
"Fine." You sighed as Jesper got his way again.
— Whenever you come to watch his practices, he makes sure to work extra hard just to impress you. He's the star athlete, so he's already the best on the team, but everyone can tell he works harder when your eyes are on him. If you're not there, he'll slack off a bit so his team has to make sure that you're always there when it comes to matches or they'll lose.
— After matches — despite the fact he's drenched in sweat — he will always come running up to you, irregardless of whether you like it when he hugs you when you're sweaty or not.
— Will and can beat up someone for you if they disrespect you. He's a sweet boy, but only for you, he can be quite brutal when you're not there.
Jesper looked down at the bruised guy beneath his foot. "Touch them again, and I'll make sure I'll give you a matching black eye, asshole." He hissed.
— Jesper likes to fold origami flowers for you. Of course, there's also variety in what he makes, but if you have a favourite flower or animal, he'll always make some and place it on your desk. The question that remained was how did he manage to do that before you guys got together and you gave him the extra key to your dorm?
— If you ever blame him for anything or you get antsy with him, he just assumes it's either he did something wrong or your friends said something about him to make you not like him.
💌 ⤻ THE ACADEMIC RIVAL, SEO MIN-JUN
— Will honestly be the most loving thing there is on the planet to make up for all the bullying he did to you.
— Probably manipulated you into dating him, to be honest.
— Despite how it may seem, Min-jun pays a lot of attention to you — it helps with the fact he stalks you a lot — and will often pick up on your wants and needs before you even know it. Sometimes, when you're hungry in class, he'll slide over your favourite protein bar or a piece of honey candy from a brand you like.
— Korea is huge on fashion trends and while Min-jun is rather neutral about it all, he insists heavily on wearing certain things that are typical 'couple-matching' with you.
"I got you something." He said, dumping the small gift bag on your desk, his eyes narrowing as you looked at the bag with curiosity.
"Can I open it?" You asked meekly, still a bit concerned with how sweet he was acting now that the both of you were... dating. He nodded his head, and you fished out a pair of matching rings. Knowing your boyfriend's pride, the diamonds on them were no doubt real.
"You'll wear them, won't you?" God, he was still scary, even after being tamed by being your boyfriend.
— Will introduce you to his parents fairly early on. He wants to make it clear that both of you are dating to get married. Nothing less.
— His love language is probably acts of service with a mix of gift giving.
He slid a pen over to you. "I heard your pen broke because you stupidly stepped on it. I got this made especially so it won't snap that easily.
"Unless you're that idiotic to be able to break even this material." He sighed as he rested his head on your shoulder, only quickly shooting up when he realised both of you were still in class. Darn it, you and you stupid face!
He had a reputation to uphold, you know!
— "Study sessions" almost everyday, uh-huh. Right. Sure, both of you study for maybe three hours but then the moment the clock his the three hour mark, it's time for him to bully you with his addictive kisses.
— His kisses are honestly a bit sloppy. Can you blame him? He's never had a partner before, he used to be so focused on studies before you stole his attention.
— No matter what, he is still competitive with you, and his mean side can slip out. Especially when you anger him.
"Are you making fun of me?" He hissed as he pinned you against his king sized bed, his legs over yours to ensure you do not escape him. "Answer me." Min-jun seethed as he used his free hand to grip your chin tightly.
"Look at me. Answer the question, yeo-bo."
— He knows that he's a catch, but he refuses to let you interact with anyone that you could possibly be attracted to. He goes crazy to the point of actually warning other students to not interact with you, isolating you so you'd only be with him.
— His nicknames for you are: yeo-bo (a term of endearment used between married couples in korea), my rival. He has the least nicknames for you.

To whom it may concern: Attention David Zaslav
I realize you all are probably being swamped at the moment by an influx of responses to your decision to not greenlight Season 3 of Our Flag Means Death, so I appreciate you taking the time to read this if you do.
I am writing today, much like many of my fellow fans, hoping to provide you with evidence and earnest feedback as to why you should reverse the decision not to renew. I have used HBO Max in the past, but once a show I liked was over, and another one on another network came up that we wanted to watch, we decided to cancel. I was on HBOMax before I knew about Our Flag Means Death, and aside from Doom Patrol and Harley Quinn, we didn't have too many other shows we wanted to watch. After cancelling for many months, I heard of Our Flag Means Death from an artist that drew for other fandoms that I liked. Looking into the fanbase, I quickly found pieces that I felt were definitely up my alley and decided to cancel other networks for a few months to jump back into HBOMax.
Why is this important? I don't watch ads in a lot of places. I block pop ups because they are often very spammy, so I don't get recommendations for shows like most people. I'm a [AGE][GENDER][PROFESSION] and I avoid advertising in most cases. You know where I get my recommendations? Fanbases, casts and crews. The absolute adoration of an artist or writer that I like loving a series will get me to look into and watch that show before any other kind of advertising. Your fanbase is free advertising. THAT BEING SAID -- I'd like to explain to you what meant so much to me about this show.
Not only was I absolutely floored by the quality, and story of Our Flag Means Death, but the thing that kept me wanting more was the messages it portrayed. So rarely is there a show that embodies drama, comedy, and an all encompassing belief in forgiveness and change, and accepting others for who they are. This show gave me a new outlook on life. It helped me to heal parts of myself I didn't realize were hurt. I found love and compassion in the cast, the crew, and the fanbase that I haven't experienced in modern television in a very long time. I became engaged in other max shows because of it (Wellington Paranormal, The Last of Us, His Dark Materials, Lovecraft Country, etc). I'm actively watching shows and content I had previously decided not to worry about because of the influence of Our Flag Means Death.
For me, as a fan, knowing that Max has content that means so much to me and others, shows that as a company, you're willing to have content that not only sparks the imagination, but fosters kindness, acceptance, and forgiveness no matter what race, gender, sexuality, or financial background you're from. That is the content we, the fans, have been looking for in so many places and have found them lacking. Another great example of this is the Barbie movie that you had a sign language interpreter for. While I am a hearing person, I still watched it because it was fascinating and so incredibly inclusive, and that tells me that you, HBOMax as a company DOES care about inclusivity.
When we waited for the renewal announcement this winter, I purchased Our Flag Means Death merchandise from your store (a mug and a blanket) because I knew I needed something to commemorate this great show no matter what happened. I am one of many fans who did this. Fun, reasonably designed merchandise is something we the fanbase can get behind.
Our Flag Means Death is a powerhouse in television, and I know that it's only meant to be 3 seasons, so it won't be a cash cow forever, but I can tell you it's brought SO MANY PEOPLE to your platform that would normally just not have joined up. I am on HBO Max right now so that I can watch Our Flag Means Death whenever I want to. You're getting monthly subscription fees from me and so many other people JUST for this show. Your decision to cancel it is actually hurting your numbers, as can be seen in the clear drop in shareholder confidence since the announcement on January 9th.  Attached is a screenshot of the WB Discovery Inc Stock for reference.
Tumblr media
In addition, a colleague of mine said this best so I will quote them here:
"Furthermore, the decision to cancel the show has led to a very prominent and public backlash from the very passionate and vocal fanbase of Our Flag Means Death. Fans have made their displeasure known across all the major social media platforms: X, Instagram, TikTok, Tumblr, YouTube, Facebook, etc etc. This backlash is unlikely to die down in the near future, and is likely to continue to reflect a poor image of HBO Max to subscribers and investors.
The egregious decision to cancel Our Flag Means Death has also caught the attention of journalists writing for major publications, such as Vanity Fair, The Hollywood Reporter, The Independent, and even more niche internet publications such as Collider. "
All of this is true. As an active member of this fanbase, I am seeing this across all platforms.
I implore you, as a huge consumer of  fiction, fantasy, sci-fi, historical, and lgbtqia content, to please reconsider renewing Our Flag Means Death for its 3rd and final season. We the fans are willing to put our hearts and souls into these letters because this show made an impact on our community that is so immense and cascading that it can't be quantified. I guarantee that a good faith act to do so will not only restore your reputation but open new revenue streams if you continue with this kind of inclusive and heartfelt content.
Thank you for your time,
[NAME]

(This is a very long post, but worth reading)
Being a trans man is bizarre. Because you grow up being treated as a girl and sexualized as one, mocked and diminished and dismissed as one. “Oh you’re just a whiny little hysterical girl, shut up.” You’re constantly gaslit about your interests and experiences and trauma. You know what it looks like when someone sees you as small and insignificant, unworthy of listening to. You have femininity forced onto you and get punished if you disobey. If you’re Asian, you’re even more sexualized and infantilized due to fetishization. And if you’re black or brown, society never considered you innocent to begin with. You’ve been an adult from the moment you were born. Being socialized as having a white girlhood is a very particular experience. But if you’re on the internet and in queer spaces you learn that femininity is always really good, actually, that it never punishes anyone, and that you can be anyone except a man. You can be a lesbian, you can be non-binary, you can be butch, you can be transmasc, as long as you don’t Step Over The Line to being a man. As long as you Stay Good. These ideas slowly creep into your head and stay there, sometimes being what keeps you from realizing you’re a man.
And then you realize you’re a man. And you still have all those experiences, you’ve still been hurt by misogyny in the same way, you’ve still had violence enacted upon you. But now it’s somehow worse, because the same people who supported you when you were butch, or a lesbian, or transmasc but not a man, suddenly they’re gone. You can see the distaste they have for you. Suddenly those “jokes” about men you and others made out of pressure and internalized self-hate affect you, and it hurts. So you speak up, say that actually, you’re a man and you’re not bad. And they laugh at you. They say that either “oh we didn’t mean YOU,” or “if you’re a man, then you’re included.” And what are you supposed to say to that? Either all men are evil but you’re not evil so you can’t be one, or you become a victim of a kind of violence resulting from 2010s Buzzfeed “progressive” gender essentialist bullshit “feminism”, where you have to tolerate demonization of your identity as a man to be acknowledged as a man. Sometimes you’ll take it, because you want to be seen as a man so bad that even being complicit in your own dehumanization is better than being forced into womanhood. (I’m also talking about you, pick-me trans guys. If you grew out of it, good in you, but this may be a wake up call you need.)
So you go on the internet for a supportive trans community and you find that things have shifted since you thought you were still an identity of Not A Man. You still have the same experiences, but now you can’t complain about them. People call you “a whiny hysterical little girl,” but in different words. Now you’re “an aggressive toxic man.” Keep in mind, you’re still regularly misgendered and treated as a girl offline, but that doesn’t matter to these people. You’ve crossed that line, and now you’re Bad, and there’s nothing you can do about it. You can’t talk about experiences, you can’t talk about prejudice, you can’t talk about issues that uniquely affect trans men. You can’t talk about how cis women throwing a tantrum at inclusive reproductive language is at words meant to include trans men, not trans women. You can’t talk about how afab socialization still effects you, that it keeps you from speaking out at this very moment. You can’t talk about the rate of violence, or of murder, or of sexual assault. Suddenly the people who know full well how inherently violent it is to misgender trans women in death are saying “but terfs like trans men, they just want to save you, you don’t die like we do,” and you don’t know what to say. Because it’s so untrue.
You know exactly how terfs attack trans men, all the fear-mongering about “poor autistic lost lesbians,” and “amputating healthy breasts and fertility,” and “internalized misogyny, they did this to escape the patriarchy.” You know the fear-mongering about it and where it comes from, because you’ve seen it from the day you were born. It’s the language of putting men who they see as deviant women back in their place. And yet no one besides you and other trans men seem to see it. When JK Rowling comes out with her transphobic manifesto, she talks just as much about trans men as she does trans women. And yet the only response you see to her is “trans women are women!!!!”. And generally, that’s the only response you ever see to any type of transphobia. That trans women are women. This gets so ingrained that anyone other than you is completely unprepared for how to defend trans men against transphobia, because they think transphobia only affects trans women and don’t understand the unique language. It also doesn’t help that most of them already believe the same things (mainly, that being a man is Bad and Not Progressive) and they can’t argue against what they believe.
And so here you are, still experiencing misogyny and violence, still being misgendered and threatened, uniquely in danger for being visibly trans, but you can’t talk about it now. Because you use he/him now, and that makes you evil. Other trans people, who are supposed to be your family, think you’re evil. They project their hatred of cis men and masculinity onto you, and you’re bewildered. You realize they can accept you for being trans, but they can’t accept you for being a man.
They’ll try and get you to separate those parts, say nonsense like “all transphobia is only based on trans women,” when you know for a fact it affects people in different ways. If you say telling all men to die is problematic, they’ll call you transmisogynistic and sexist as though you don’t know misogyny like the back of your hand. You try telling people who have been dehumanized for being trans that you don’t want to be dehumanized for what makes you trans, and get demonized even further. You get the worst combination of all. You get diminished and mocked and condescended and dismissed, “Oh you’re just a whiny little hysterical girl, shut up,” turns into “Oh you’re just a whiny little hysterical man. Stop speaking over women.” You’re still constantly gaslit about your interests and experiences and trauma, because liking masculinity is seen as bad now that you’ve realized you’re a man. You know what it looks like when someone sees you as small and insignificant, unworthy of listening to (especially as growing up as a Jewish girl, and now a Jewish man). They see you as not only small and insignificant, unworthy of listening to, but they justify it with your identity. Before, it was that “women” weren’t worthy of being listened to because they were stupid and insignificant, and now it’s that you’re a man, and men shouldn’t talk about their experiences fear because they’re Evil. You had femininity forced onto you and got punished if you disobeyed, and now you get that again! But now you’re a “toxic man” if you hate being misgendered. You get the misogyny of being treated like a woman and the demonization of being a man, and you can’t talk about either. “You can’t complain now,” they say, “you asked for this. You chose this.”
They use the same language of those “he’s only pulling your hair because he likes you” teachers (“terfs want to forcibly detransition you bc they care about you”) or “you were asking for it” adults after being catcalled for the first time at age 12 (“you chose to be a man”) or the same fucking language as terfs, who they claim to hate. They use this same language, except now it’s a chance for them to project their trauma with masculinity onto you. You learn a lot of people only hate terfs because they don’t include trans women, not because they’re fascists who believe in innate gender essentialism and that your genitals determine everything about you. You learn a lot of trans people are terfs. In everything but name, they are. They believe in gender essentialism, in radical feminism, that all men are evil, just including trans women. In their view, they slot trans women into the status of white womanhood as eternal victims, and trans men into the status of white manhood as eternal oppressors. Except that doesn’t work.
(Not to mention that non-binary people can also be men or/and women, and are entirely left out in all of this except to fit into this oppression point calculator developed in a previous un-invented circle of discourse hell)
You find a small circle of trans men and mascs talking about the same stuff you’re talking about. You realize that realizing you’re a trans man means you have to become an activist for trans men. Every word you think of to describe your own experiences is, again, mocked and dismissed. You’re gaslit even more heavily than you were before, by the same people who claim you have power over them. People who have never talked to a trans man in good faith spread misinformation, that testosterone is easy to get (it’s actually harder to get than estrogen because it’s a level three substance that results in a felony if taken without a prescription), that it’s poison (and maybe it was for them, but they say it as a universal statement), that all trans men worry about is misgendering, ignoring the very real violence against us specifically for being TRANS MEN. And you die a little inside and grow very disillusioned and alienated from other trans people. You notice that traits of a testosterone-induced puberty are demonized even when that hurts trans women, and you notice any trans women who try to speak up are silenced, just as you are. And it hurts. Where is the community in this?
But still, you have your own community, slowly raising awareness for these things. You dust off your skills you got from validating yourself from harm from your abusive mother, and put on that same shield you used against abusive cis boys in high school who made period jokes and said cis lesbians just wanted to be men. You use the language to describe your own oppression that you know to be true. You use “transandrophobia” and “anti masculinity” without apology. You’re not going to apologize, flutter your lashes and give a nervous laugh the way you did for cis men when you were in danger, to other trans people about transphobia. Not anymore, not now, and not ever again. You work through your own self-hatred of masculinity that the queer “community” fully endorses and practices daily, and realize that being a man is good, actually. You start defining your own ideal of masculinity, and start being your own role model of what you want to be as a man.
You’re on testosterone and see it demonized daily by other trans people, and see that what gives you happiness is mocked as what makes you unlovable and disgusting. It hurts, but you learn to brush them aside. Solidarity is important, you’ve always known this. Sometimes you can get through to people, who will realize they’re hurting you and stop. But some people won’t, and will victimize themselves eternally. That’s not your fault, and the emotional labor you carried over from being raised as a girl means you especially need to hear this. That’s not your job. Not because women should have that job, but because no one should have to do more work than is equal. You are trans because you are a man, and so your manhood cannot be separated from your transness. Other people practicing transphobia against you is their fault, not yours.
You start to learn that damn, the patriarchy really does effect men from how other queer people treat you. Because people, especially women (both cis and trans) start treating you like a non-human robot, an emotional punching bag. That’s if they don’t demonize you entirely. But still, you have your community, you’re transitioning, and you’re happy. You start growing into your manhood and masculinity, really growing into it. And there are times when you’re really, really happy. You decide to make your own representation. Don’t let anyone take that away from you, fellow trans men. You are handsome, you are strong, you are resilient. Your are courageous and lovely and kind. You are worthy of love not despite being a man, but because you are a man. It’s been hard, it’ll be hard. But it’s worth it to be a man.
(This ended up being a long post, a combination of what started out as a rant and turned into more of a personal journey narrative. I want to make people feel heard. You are valid. It’s not just in your head, they are gaslighting you. You aren’t sensitive, you aren’t dramatic, you aren’t toxic, and you aren’t whiny. You’re a trans man who wants to be known as a man without being demonized for it. Never be afraid to speak up against transphobia, especially when it’s from other trans people. They should know better, it is not your fault. I love you. I’ve also learned more about multigender people and intersex people, but I can’t speak to their experience at all and so didn’t want to misrepresent. But I can only imagine it’s even more complicated and hard for you, so you get even more love and support <333)
(If you’re not a trans man or transmasc reading this, and you support it, thank you. This was specifically about trans men because it’s the man part people really demonize, and transmasc as an identity is still seen as “safe” because it’s “not a man”. For supportive trans women and transfems, I love you. Keep speaking up for us. But for anyone who comes at this in bad faith, re-evaluate why you feel attacked. Are you perpetuating harm against trans men? Are you continuing gender essentialism but justify it because you have a marginalized identity? Are you projecting your trauma against cis men, men in general, and masculinity against people who can’t fight back? Reflect and grow the fuck up. Are you a trans man who’s bought into dehumanizing yourself so you can be seen as “one of the good ones”? Are you a white trans woman weaponizing your newfound sense of white womanhood onto trans men, especially non-white trans men? Reflect on how demonizing men and masculinity as inherently predatory and dangerous effects jewish men, black men, brown men, disabled men, and Asian men. And maybe just white cishet men as well!!! They’re also people!!!! Being a man isn’t inherently a bad thing. You should be mad at systems, not people, and individuals when they perpetuate harm. Being marginalized in one area doesn’t mean you can claim to be the voice of the community while hurting members of the community you supposedly consider yourself apart of.)

History of lesbian flags and their meanings.
I’m going to explain the history behind lesbian flags and their meanings. I want to especially to educate about the labrys flag, as there is a lot of misinformation about this version of lesbian flag, such as that the author is a N*zi which isn’t true. English isn’t my first language, so I apologize if something doesn’t make sense.
Labrys flag
One of the earliest lesbian flags, designed in 1999 by a gay graphic designer Sean Campbell.
Tumblr media
Meanings behind labrys flag:
Violet background
Color violet has been associated with lesbians since ancient greek times - violet flower is a symbol of lesbian love, which originates from Sappho’s poetry, where she described her lover as wearing a garland of flowers.
Inverted black triangle
N*zi concentration camps badges, mostly triangles, were used to identify the reason the prisoners had been placed there. Inverted black triangle was used for women who were “Asocial” (Asozial) and “Work-Shy” (Arbeitsscheu). Jewish, Romani, homeless, alcoholic, prostitute, lesbian women were the main victims. Lesbians decided to reclaim this symbol. Inverted black triangle is used in the flag to remember women who were victims of the n*zi camps.
Labrys
Labrys is a double axe that represents the strength and feminism of homosexual women. Lesbian community has been using labrys since 1970s. The labrys was the weapon of choice for the Amazons of Greek mythology, a group of female warriors and hunters whose society was closed to men.
Tumblr media
Even though the inverted black triangle was reclaimed by lesbians, some people are still uncomfortable with the original version, that’s why they use version without the triangle.
Lipstick lesbian flag
Designed in 2010 by Natalie McCray in the weblog “This Lesbian Life”.
Tumblr media
Lipstick mark
“Lipstick lesbian” is a slang for feminine lesbians, this term has been used since the 1980s, but gained popularity in the 1990s.
However, many people didn’t approve this flag, as it doesn’t include butches at all. People also refuse to use this lesbian flag due to the author being transphobic.
Pink lesbian flag
Tumblr media
It’s lipstick lesbian flag without the lipstick mark.
Sunset lesbian flag
Designed in 2018 by Emily Gwen on Tumblr.
Meaning behind the stripes
Tumblr media
Dark Orange – Gender-non conformity
Coral orange – Independence
Light orange – Community
White – Unique relationship to womanhood
Pink – Serenity and Peace
Pastel pink – Love and Sex
Dark Pink – Femininity
Sunset version is the most commonly used version of the lesbian flag. Mostly due to the fact that this version is inclusive of trans and nonbinary lesbians.
Is there a “correct” lesbian flag?
No. Harassing someone, because they use labrys or lipstick/pink version of the flag instead of the sunset one is wasting your time and hurting someone for no valid reason.
Why some lesbians use the older versions of the lesbian flag?
Me and other lesbians who use labrys version of the lesbian flag instead of sunset one because labrys flag has actual history. In my opinion, the sunset lesbian flag is just aesthetically pleasing and has no actual powerful meaning unlike labrys version which represents lesbian history (violet background), remembers women who were victims of n*zi camps (inverted black triangle) and has symbol of strength and feminism of lesbianism (the labrys).

𝐕𝐈𝐂𝐄 𝐃𝐎𝐑𝐌 𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐒 (𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐘, 𝐉𝐀𝐃𝐄, 𝐉𝐀𝐌𝐈𝐋, 𝐑𝐎𝐎𝐊, 𝐋𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐀) Darling, what is, oh my, you're learning a new/my language? Of course I will help, now see here...
Tumblr media
gender-neutral warnings: - does duolingo count? - in jamil's, the reader is implied to have a crush on him. also, to make it as inclusive as possible, i mentioned how the reader flushes dark. i researched and for POC (Edit: I changed it from colored people bc from feedback, it isn't the appropriate term, sorry if I had hurt anyone!), that's apparently the equivalent of blushing red (?) i hope it makes sense and doesnt hurt anyone's feelings! - a bit of fighting in lilia's, but not too gory. just self-defense. also be prepared for a lot of swearing in his. the reader is also implied to be in a relationship with him :) genre: fluff a/n: - pictures don't belong to me, they go to their original owners! - btw, can y'all tell me where and how do you get your banners for the characters? trying (and failing) to do so as you can tell. - watch me panic as i publish this because i know there might be some people out there who will bully me over this. i'm just gonna say that this is a work of fiction meant to bring smiles to people's faces, not to mock any languages - please give me feedback :)
Let me know if you'd like more!

𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐘 𝐂𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑 + 𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐄
Trey was busy baking for the Unbirthday party, measuring with professional precision and practicing ease. He's been doing this for years so he considers himself beyond average (honey, stop being modest, you're doing great)
Enter you. Swinging your seat around the Heartslabyul kitchen island chair, you rotated yourself with glee, glued to your phone. Trey could faintly make out your disgruntled mutters and curses as he worked.
When he set the tarts into the oven, pressing the appropriate buttons, curiosity got the better of him. What had you so frustrated and upset? As the vice dorm leader of Heartslabyul, Trey should help you out! He propped his head in the crook of your collarbone, earning a squeak and causing you to almost fall off the chair. He quickly caught you, grabbing your wrists and pulling you back into your seat.
"Really Trey?" You deadpanned.
Trey only shrugged sheepishly, a dust of red crawling up his neck. He had only wanted a peek at what had ensnared your attention for the past few hours.
"Congratulations on passing this level, Y/N!"
Huh?
Trey looked so helplessly confused that you laughed.
“It's Duolingo!" You explained, showing him the app. Trey's eyes widened at the progress you have made.
"I've been wanting to learn a language, but unfortunately," You pouted. "I chose one of the hardest. Chinese."
Trey snickered, drawing out a seat and sitting next to you. He didn't notice the way your cheeks flushed from your close proximity and his warm breathes caressing your skin.
"I've learned it before," Trey admitted, watching your eyes widen before laughing. "Let me help. So here, you're missing this stroke..."
a/n: before y'all start to bully me, i've been learning chinese since i was born. i know how hard the language is, so watch me self-project in trey's short fic. bro- if trey was teaching me, you can bet that i'll be more focused on trey than chinese lmaoo

Jade noticed you coming to the Mostro Lounge very often these days. He was on shift most of the time (no thanks to Floyd's spontaneous disappearances) so he got the perfect chance to observe you at your table. The other customers were boring to look at as he cleaned the bar's glasses but you drew his attention.
You periodically took a sip from your drink before scribbling in that notebook of yours, the green glow from your phone illuminating your face in the dimness of the lounge.
Jade was naturally curious of course. You had been there for more than three hours, what would have consumed your attention for so long?
"Jade?"
He was so lost in thought that he didn't notice your eyes on him, raising a hand to get his attention. He put on a smile and came over, menu in hand.
"What would you like to order-"
"Congratulations on passing this level, Y/N!"
Jade's eyes narrowed upon your phone, staring at the obxonious bright green owl that interrupted him. Jade hated being interrupted. For your sake, he kept his polite facade.
"What would you like-"
"Would you like to move onto the next level?"
Again?
The urge to break your phone and throw it into the nearest body of water was growing stronger.
Jade heaved out a heavy sigh and you chuckled.
"I'm learning a new language," You slid over your book as Jade eyed it. "It's called Korean."
"Oh?" Jade raised an eyebrow. "What are these little squiggles? They remind me of ocean waves or mushroom patterns."
You shrugged helplessly. "Mind helping if you could?"
Jade laughed. Most people would be afraid to get tangled up in a deal with Azul...but you? You were fearless. And Jade was delighted with it.
"I shall do my best."
a/n: any koreans reading this, pls don't kill me. kill her instead! *holds sign with directions to riddle's mother*
but on a serious note, i did not mean to offend anyone, it's just for comedy purposes!

Jamil was tired from school and taking care of Kalim, so when he stumbled into the Scarabia lounge, the last thing he wanted was you two together, with bright grins on your faces.
It only spelled out trouble for him.
With a sigh, Jamil approached the duo quietly, a mischievous plan to spook them before Kalim's voice stopped him in his tracks.
"Now, you say it!"
"أحبك [Uhibuk]," You said slowly, pronouncing the words with your accent twisting it slightly. Kalim grinned and clapped his hands excitedly.
"Perfect! Now, say everything together!" The dorm leader encouraged you as you blushed bright red/dark.
"Shh," You hissed. "Not so loud, Kalim!"
Kalim chuckled before gesturing for you to speak. You took a deep breath in before saying the entire phrase.
"أحبك [Uhibuk] Jamil," You muttered, your entire face flushing red/dark.
"Perfect! The pronunciation is amazing!" Kalim grinned brightly at you. "Now all you need to do is say it to Jamil! He'll love the confession!"
"Kalim, keep your voice down!" You spluttered. "What if he's nearby?"
From behind the pillar, Jamil's face was practically burning. The Perfect, aka you, had a crush on him? You didn't fall for Kalim's charm, but his nonexistent charm? Oh, Prefect, you've managed to ensnare Jamil's heart just fine.
"انا احبك ايضا [Ana ahibuk aydan]," Jamil murmured into your ear as you jumped from the couch, flopping onto the floor before wincing. You were about to shout at the attacker before realizing it was your crush and your face was burning.
"He says 'I love you too'," Kalim helpfully translated before laughing. "I better leave you two alone!"
With that, the boy dashed away, leaving you two alone in the Scarabia lounge. Jamil managed a smirk and leaned in, closing the proximity between you two.
"Next time, you can ask me for help. I'll certainly do my best."
a/n: anyone who speaks arabic, please don't kill me again. i genuinely don't know if it's the correct words (glares at google translate) so i'm sorry if my small oneshot offends anyone!!

𝐑𝐎𝐎𝐊 𝐇𝐔𝐍𝐓 + 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐇
"Bonjour, ma cherie!"
Rook practically skipped towards you, a bright grin on his face and sparkles emitting from his aura. As expected of Pomefiore students.
"Bonjour, comment ca va?" You stumbled over the words, making mental notes to make your 'j' sound more like a 'zh' in the future.
The blond hunter was frozen in his steps before tentatively replying. Could this be his dreams coming to life? His heart fluttered at the thought of it.
"Ca va bien, merci. Et toi?"
"Ca va bien."
You replied awkwardly, trying your best to keep the same pace as Rook's fluency in French. Fortunately, Rook was quick to drop the language upon seeing your tentativeness and hesitance in replying.
"Oh ma cherie, you made this poor hunter's heart burst with joy! Why, this day must have been blessed by the Sevens, because it has been a wonderful morning!" Rook exclaimed, grinning at you. "Your accent and pronunciation were perfect!"
"Really?" You muttered in disbelief. "I literally only started a month ago."
Rook laughed before nodding eagerly. "Mon amor, let me hear those divine words again!"
"Bonjour?" You muttered in confusion before Rook dramatically fluttered his eyes, a hand pressed to his forehead as he practically collapsed in your arms. You were quick to catch him, although Rook was sure to put the least amount of his body weight in your arms.
"Rook!"
Rook smiled at you, patting your arm before straightening up. He grinned brighter, his sparkling white teeth blinding you. "If you are eager to learn, then this hunter would gladly take on the role as your teacher!"
"Please do," You nodded frantically. "French has been nothing but words in cursive. It's a world of pain for me."
The vice dorm leader of Pomefiore laughed.
a/n: all my french knowledge comes from duolingo guys, please don't come after me. btw, i know 'ca va' has that squiggling thingy in the C but idk how to type it on my device so *shrugging helplessly*

"Ma che cazzo?!"
Lilia certainly did not expect such foul words to leave your mouth. It's too early in the morning, it's still 7:55 Y/N! Curse them out later in six minutes okay? Otherwise, the old fae might wash your mouth out with water.
"Chiudi il becco, idiota."
Lilia chuckled, drawing attention from Malleus, Silver, and Sebek. He simply told them that he was going to check on you before he mysteriously teleported away, following the echo of your voice. He reappeared in the courtyard, watching amusingly as you swore and cursed at the Savanaclaw beastmen who decided to pick on you today. The one time Leona wasn't napping away here, his own followers decided to bully you.
"Miserabili pezzi di merda, I have seen more personality in a rusty hoe handle," You spat out, growling at them. They laughed back but you held your ground.
"What does this little prey trying to do?" One roared out in a fit of laughter. "Trying to fight back?"
His hoarde snickered. "Pathetic!"
"Lurido porco," You shook your head before calming yourself. "Just let me pass through."
The beastmen took one look at look before scoffing.
"Why would we listen to you? You just a twig we can snap in half!"
"Merda," You swore. You had completely forgotten them in your rage the fact you were outnumbered by three to one. The beastmen were stupid, but not that stupid. They completely knew that they could beat you in both a physical and a magical fight.
"So what is it going to be?" A panther beastman punched his fists togehter, growling. "A fight?"
You lunged at him, growling. Despite the odds against you, you weren't going to go down with a fight. Your arms stinged as you punched his rock-solid face.
"Fottiti!" You screamed, before being punched in the stomach. You groaned on the ground as they came closer. Pitifully, you inched backwards before your savior stepped in.
"Ma che?" Lilia scowled, a dark shadow covering his face as he stepped out from the darkness.
"Mia colombia [my dove]," Lilia crounched near you, hands fluttering over your wounds. You withhold a painful scream as he mended your wounds. "Carissima, are you hurt anywhere else?"
You whispered out a painful 'No' before Lilia gently smiled at you.
"When we get back, I'll teach you better words than just swears," Lilia promised you before standing up, smirking menacingly at the cowardly bullies. "No one touches what's mine, and you're going to learn that the hard way."
a/n: i'm just using translations from the assassin's creeds books lol. btw, i did my best to search but does anybody know why i can't find any lilia vanrouge dorm uniform card images?

The term ‘queer’ is intentionally vague, in order to blur lines and therefore erode boundaries. Every distinct category and/or identity which exists, gets sacrificed at the altar of surface-level virtues like ‘equality, diversity and inclusion’. Especially inclusion. In turn, sexuality and biological sex (plus its logically incoherent placeholder ‘gender identity’) are treated as if they are fluid, ever-revolving doors of ambiguity that anybody can pop in and out of at any time. Queer theory posits that this is a moral imperative, because they believe the most cardinal sin one can commit is to use words in any way that could exclude literally anyone.
It’s no wonder then that this hurts women and LGB people disproportionately. In the case of lesbians, ‘queer’ creates in effect an opening for people to assume they might actually try being with a man (especially trans-identified) ‘if the right one comes along.’
But it isn’t a cardinal sin to exclude people from your love life, changing rooms, hospital wards, or any other spaces that you need to feel safe, and be safe. Exclusion is a neutral act. It can be good, it can be bad. It is context dependant. Don’t fall for this new bizarre conglomerate of neoliberal and ‘progressive’ ideologies, where everybody loses their right to use words that have clear, applicable, meaningful definitions – in order for language to operate as it should, and for immutable characteristics to be protected in law.

Nizat 'Kvarosee, Romantic/Platonic intentions. Scenario where during his exile on Netherop, he captures the darling from the similarly stranded UNSC forces and keeps them as a pet - at first as a psychological warfare thing against the humans but eventually forming a twisted attachment. Optional: the inclusion of prompts #2 and #14 from your blog's prompt list, since I read through them and thought those would be fitting for this and your prompts deserve more love in these requests. - Scale Anon
I watched lore videos and read his wiki entry on Halopedia so I think I got this >:) Hope you enjoy!

Out of everything that has happened during his exile on this planet... you may have been the best thing that's come of it.
At first your capture was meant to a message. A message that eventually he'll win this war against Petrov and break the humans fighting against him. However... it has been a long time since Nizat had any company other than the Sangheili he was stranded with.
Despite being a dissenter, Nizat felt incredibly religious during his exile. He began to view your meeting with him as fate. You were a gift from the Gods... all for him.
Nizat had learned human language to speak with you. Instead of treating you as a prisoner... he began to be softer. He doesn't want to kill you as you're defenseless. Instead... he treats you like the gift he believes you are.
His fellow Sangheili find his behavior strange. Their leader is so fanatical about this human prisoner. All to the point of treating you like some pet.
Nizat began to adore you once he saw you as a gift from the Gods. He began to see you as a companion... one he loves more than most things. He never let you get far... often dragging you around like one would do a pet.
He made sure you were as comfortable as you could be on this hot planet. Even as his Sangheili brethren perished... Nizat found comfort in you. You may not wish to be with him yet he can't just toss aside a divine gift!
Nizat worships you as his human. You are meant to comfort him in his exile, aren't you? He hates that you keep fighting him... don't you see it's meant to be?
"It's too dangerous in the world. You need me, you should know that." Nizat tries to reason with you. The heat outside could kill you if he doesn't provide for you! Despite you being placed in his lap as he sits with you in private... you struggle against him.
How long had it been? Weeks... months since he's caught you? Your determination was becoming tiring... he wishes you'd just give in.
Nizat catches you whining and trying to squirm like a scared animal. Like most Sangheili he found humans weak... but not entirely deserving of being killed. In fact he found you quite beautiful in your own alien way.
"I'll take care of you, my gift... just relax into me, alright? I'm not going to hurt you. If anything, you're hurting yourself." The Sangheili tries to comfort you by holding you closer to his chest.
For now... you give up and allow him to coddle you. He really is the only sense of comfort you've had in a long time. Sighing softly you lean into the Sangheili, allowing him to crane his head into the crook of your shoulder. You hear the Sangheili give a growl of approval before squeezing you closer.
Thankfully this was out of sight from anyone.
"It's an honor for someone such as me to take you in and love you." The Sangheili whispers into your ear, nuzzling into your shoulder. The feeling is scaled and strange but you don't fight it. Do you have any power in this situation anyways?
"You are my divine gift... the Gods have not forsaken me completely for my sins." Nizat coos, indulging in the comfort you give. "I'd never let anyone take you away from me...."
You then hear him growl behavior, this time it's threatening instead of comforting.
"If anyone ever does try..." Nizat muses and you feel his claws dig into you. "They'll die brutally by my blade, I can promise that, my gift."
You say nothing and only stare at the ground, quietly accepting your fate.

THE HALLOWEEK OF HURT: DAY TWO
All The Love In the World Doubled and returned back To You- J.F x gn! tidemaker! sun summoner! reader
Okay! This second fic is pretty much just me using one of my favorite tropes and overpowering the reader just a bit! I wanted to write at least one fic for at least four of the crows so this is a Jesper fic for day two of the second year of this event and also the second year where a Kaz fic came out day one and a jesper fic came out day two!
The reader does go through pregnancy near the end but because this fic is general neutral I used gender neutral terms (birthing parent and otherwise gn language with the regard to the pregnancy) and if you don't like that, skedaddle pls n thanks. I don't need you here to bitch at me about my word choices when my only goal with them was to be inclusive and not exclusionary.
Fic type- this is angst
Warnings- none
Tumblr media
SIXTEEN
Dearest Jesper,
I do not know how long it has been since I last wrote to you, nor do I know how long it has been since I last received your response. Things like days kind of blend in together and have been doing so since I lost track of the pocket watch I bought while I was in Novyi Zem before I volunteered to join the fighting.
It's looking like the war is going to end, but I'm not so sure. Alina says it's basically a guarantee given that the Darkling doesn't have much left to lose, and they plan to storm the Fold in two weeks time.
I am among the ranks of those storming in, given my apparent talent with building tsunamis. I don't understand particularly how my skills will be relevant--the Shadow Fold is a dry place to be in. Any moisture I can steal from the air will have my skin drier than it is during Ravkan winters, and it must be impossible to build a tsunami in the dark--but people are telling me they are and I'm too exhausted to do anything but believe them.
Nina is still missing in accordance with what Zoya tells me, but I've got friends in Kerch. I hear she's there, having put away a Fjerdan slaver. She's meant to be awaiting trial if such is the case, or maybe she's already gone through it. I don't know much of Nina other than what I hear in whispers, but I know indeed that I miss her.
I miss Novyi Zem, too. Before I volunteered and joined Zoyas regiment, I was there--you remember that much. We met in the last few months before you left for uni. You're in Kerch now, too, so you tell me. Is Nina there? Are the whispers I've heard of her anything more than a rumor? Did she join the Dregs as you have?
Write if you are still alive so that I can at least know you're standing,
All the love in the world,
Y/N L/N, soldier of the Fifty-Sixth regiment of the Second Army and honorary member of the Soldat Sol, Tidemaker and creator of (small and non-lethal) tsunamis (waves that are barely as tall as I am)
--
Dear Y/N L/N of Second Army Regiment Fifty-Six, Honorary Member of the Soldat Sol, Tidemaker and Creator of Non-Lethal Tsunamis,
It's been six weeks, love. I wondered if you'd gotten moved around as I hadn't heard from you and I didn't write because I didn't want the letter going to the wrong place if you had.
For the record--about your friend, Nina, nothing has been heard of her yet. I'll write to you the moment anything is, and I've told Kaz to be on the lookout for the girl you've described as your friend.
I hope you find her, though. Losing friends to the war is not something that I imagine to be particularly easy.
You're going into the Fold? I wish you luck. I do think you'd be able to send a tsunami so large it competes with the sheer height of the Darklings creation directly to where he finds himself standing, but that's just because I've seen what you can do, and I know how much you value your ability to do what you can.
I wish you luck relentlessly and I do hope that the included gift--a tidal wave charm on a chain of silver--does not feel too obvious or like a mockery of your talents. The waves must be lucky to you at least a little, and I should hope that I have provided a lucky charm if lucky charms are something Tidemakers value, like other Grisha are said to value the amplifiers they claim for themselves.
I am indeed alive and indeed still standing, darling. I have not forgotten you yet,
All of the love in the world doubled and returned back to you,
Jesper Fahey, resident gunslinger of the Dregs, friend and flirt of person who can build tsunamis as tall as they are, and lover of bourbon iced tea
EIGHTEEN
Dearest Jesper,
I know I promised you that I would come to Kerch in the springtime, and I am sorry that I have not found the time to do so yet! Since the incident at the Fold, Alinas death, and the whole thing about learning how to manage being an Etherealki who can both summon water and the sun, it's just been a lot to manage.
I've started accelerated classes to speed things up and will be going to Ketterdam University in the fall, so although I cannot see you again during the spring, we'll have the next four years together. I am to live on campus, and according to a couple of the Grisha I've met who came from Ketterdam, the University isn't far from all of the local hotspots--gambling dens, restaurants on the harbor, bookshops and cafes and bars-- and just thinking of it all is making me so excited!
Nikolai is insistent that I claim an amplifier, but I don't think I need one. I think that having one would make me the next saint, and I can't stand the thought of that. I worked with Alina enough to see how much damage that can do and I've repeatedly expressed that I have no interest in it.
You expressed excitement of a heist in your last letter and I'm assuming you're on that heist now, so don't worry when you come home and find that this letter has been waiting for you for days or weeks. I just want to get a response, no matter how long that takes--when you get this, tell me that you're well, that you've gotten the money you were promised.
I miss and love you hopelessly, my dear,
Y/N L/N, former soldier of the Second Army in regiment Fifty-Six, lover of Jesper Fahey and his guns and the handsome smirk he seems to always be wearing
--
Dearest love,
I know you said not to, but I am still going to express my apologies for how late this response is coming--the heist was at the Ice Court and it turned out to be a lot of trouble! I've made it out safe, though, and I got my cut of the money too, which is amazing!
I was thinking that I would come to visit you for a while and then we could travel to Ketterdam together? I've never really been to Ravka and I think that spending the summer there could be a bit of fun! Inej has to go that way anyway so I wouldn't even have to pay for a boat ticket, and she'll be there hunting slavers for a week or two so the two of you could meet.
I would love for you to meet her, honestly--you two would get along like a house on fire and that is one of few things lately of which I find myself doubtless.
I love you hopelessly and undoubtingly in return,
Jesper Fahey, lover of his spouse, slinger of gun, recovering gambling addict and drinker of bourbon ice tea
TWENTY
Jesper most beloved,
Today, on what has to be the warmest day I've experienced during our time in Cofton, I'm writing this to you because I do not know how otherwise to say it.
There are still wars being fought in Ravka. I was discharged two years ago so that I could have some time away from the Civil War, to figure out who I wanted to be and where I wanted to go in the aftermath of the death of a saint, the gift of a second small science, and the death of a man who would've swathed the whole country in an endless night if he could've summoned all of the power necessary to do it.
When Nikolai discharged me, I told him he could call on me again if he needed my help in the fighting.
I received correspondence from him this morning asking--pleading with me, to go. I have not written back but I think I will say yes, and I wish I could get the courage to say this to you directly, but I can't.
Writing it out has always been easier for me because that has been our primary means of conversation as long as we've known each other, and for that I know I am a coward and if you hate me for it, I do not blame you. I never have and I never, ever will.
I am writing this to you while waiting for the boat. I intend to travel back to Ravka just to get a taste of home again and if I am again approached about going to the frontlines--it's like I said. I might just tell Nikolai yes.
All of the love in the world,
Y/N L/N, former (and perhaps future) soldier of the Second Army, lover of Jesper Fahey and his handsome face, summoner of sun and tide
--
Dearest Y/N, Holder of my Heart,
If I were as patriotic as you, I might've considered doing the same, so I don't blame you for it even if it was a bit of a dumb and rash decision--I've made enough of those to last a lifetime so I don't care that you've gone back to the battle fields in the way that you think I probably do.
Let me rephrase--that last bit came out terribly wrong!
I do care about it, I just--I respect your patriotism and all I care about at the end of the day is that you come home. I want you to come back to me because I worried enough about losing one of my closest friends in the civil war, and I cannot bare the thought of losing the love of my life to people as buff as Matthias and his big Fjerdan biceps. Not now that we are as we have been. I have loved you helplessly since we met when I was fifteen and you were sixteen. I cannot bare the thought of losing you now that both of us have lived past nineteen years old.
You remember the pact we made during the war, don't you? If we made it to twenty together, we'd be married by twenty-five. House somewhere in the city by thirty, settled down and content with each other by fifty one.
I, as your ridiculously handsome boyfriend of three years, am holding you that. I'll be back in Ketterdam on the day we would've returned together--same address as usual. Write to me, tell me where you're stationed so that I can send the proper correspondence to the proper place. I love you so much, Y/N, and I will never stop.
All of the love in the world doubled and returned back to you,
Jesper Fahey, gunslinger for the Dregs, lover of the would-be saint (if they let anyone dare try to turn them into such), person who is so foolishly in love that he may or may not be planning how to propose to you the moment you return home from leave
TWENTY-TWO
Y/N, Holder of my Heart,
I am not usually the one who does the checking-in but I do worry of you and I know I've sent you a letter already detailing everything everyone has been up to, but I didn't focus much on myself and that feels something like a travesty because in your last letter, all that you seemed to want to hear about was me. I hope that, if such is still the case, this ramble brings to you one of your ethereal smiles that I've loved so much over the past years.
I'm good--the cats are good. All is well within our home, we just miss you desperately.
I proposed when you were on leave in December last year, and every time I think of that memory I smile a little because I know that, when you come home, I'm going to get to marry you. Y/N Fahey has a really, really nice ring in my opinion, and the more I think about it the nicer it starts to sound.
Things are well with me, and it's just very important to me that you know that, all right? I love you and the reason that this letter is so short is because I have a job to do for Kaz (who sends you well wishes in the Kaz Brekker-iest way ever) but I hope it communicates how I feel about you nonetheless.
Yours forever,
All the love in the world,
Jesper Fahey, resident gunslinger for the Dregs, soon-to-be husband of person who summons sun and tide and is a soldier in Regiment Fifty-Six of the Second Army, currently stationed on Fjerdan soil and fighting at the front lines, lover of Y/N L/N, holder of my heart and keeper of my soul
TWENTY-FOUR
Husband of mine,
it's been a while since I last heard from you. I haven't heard from you in three months--not since I returned to the fighting from my leave. You promised me that I would receive correspondence within that week, if I'm thinking correctly, and you're not the type who breaks their promises so I'm worried.
Where are you, Jesper? Are you okay? I don't even care if you're in prison--prison sentences are to be expected with your status as someone in the Dregs, but if this letter is sitting on a desk somewhere, unopened, I hope that whomevers desk it lands upon reaches out and tells me what's happened to you.
All of the love in the world,
Y/N L/N, lieutenant in the Second Army under Regiment Fifty-Six, lover of Jesper Faheys handsome face, summoner of sun and tide
--
Jes,
It's me again. Six more weeks have gone by without a word. Are you all right? Is everything okay?
I miss you, love.
Another minute of this silence and I might just find myself drowning within it. Even just a simple 'I'm okay, and everything is fine' would suffice it well enough. I just need to hear from you, Jesper. Please.
Y/N L/N, Lieutenant in the Second Army under Regiment Fifty-Six, lover of Jesper Faheys handsome face but hater of this sudden silence, summoner of tide and sun
--
Dearest,
so much time has passed.
Where are you, my love?
Where have you gone?
All of the love in the world doubled and given to you,
Y/N L/N, Lieutenant in the Second Army under Regiment Fifty-Six, lover of Jesper Faheys handsome face and distainful of this sudden silence, summoner of sun and tide.
--
Y/N L/N,
Hi! It's been a while. I'm sure you've recognized by the handwriting that it is not Jesper writing this letter. We've met a few times now--this letter was written by Inej Ghafa and I am writing it to extend to you my condolences.
Jesper was killed on a heist in Novyi Zem. He kept the letters you wrote on his person with the intent to respond to your last few when he returned, but we couldn't get to a healer fast enough. It is to my understanding that your twenty-fifth birthday is soon? If you can get the leave, I would recommend going to Cofton, where Jespers father is holding his funeral in October. I will be in attendance and so I will see you there,
Captain Inej Ghafa of The Wraith, Hunter of Slavers, longtime friend of Jesper Fahey
TWENTY FIVE
"You miss him?" Inej asked as soon as she saw your face. It was puffy from crying, which you'd done the entirety of the boat ride over, with the only exceptions of that being when you were asleep.
Your hand was laying over a subtly pregnant stomach, which made Inejs stomach lurch. Jesper had never mentioned anything about a pregnancy--had you even told him? It brought so many questions, none of which Inej would ask until the time was right.
"A lot more than one would think," you said, hugging her tightly as she opened her arms and pulled you in. "Saints, I knew that grieving would hurt but fuck it all if this isn't terrible."
She laughed lightly. "Well, we're in luck! The Fahey residence is thirty minutes out on foot. Fifteen if you've done the walk dozens of times in the past two days and know the best shortcuts."
You let her take your hand, let her lead you back to Colms farm and silently cried as you moved. The loss of Jesper was one you never thought you would've had to face--and if you had, you wouldn't have faced it for far longer than the measly nine years during which you'd known one another--but you were facing it. You could do no more than face it.
When eventually you arrived and pushed past the open front door and to the kitchen, you found Colm. He saw you and grinned.
"Got 'em home safe, Ms. Ghafa?"
Inej grinned back. "They were Jespers beloved. Anything less and he would've crossed the ocean to haunt me, I'm sure."
She let you go, grinning at you slightly as she approached Kaz, who was standing outside, watching Matthias dig Jespers gravesite.
That left you with Colm, who offered you tea and a tissue to dab at your tears.
"He'll be buried next to his mother," he said. "Where he belongs, of course--other than with you and alive and everything."
You nodded. "If you don't mind--"
"The house is to be yours when I can no longer maintain it," he said. "I plan to be buried next to my wife, and I take no issue with you being buried next to your husband. He loved you dearly, Y/N."
"And I loved him in turn," you said. "Oh--this isn't supposed to be easy, is it?"
"No," Colm said. "And it's not gonna be, but I as sure as the saints wish it could be less difficult."
You sighed. "It's not going to get much easier, is it?"
"Nah," Colm said. "Not in my experience, anyway. You picked a name?"
You glanced down to your stomach impulsively as you felt your child give a slight kick.
"Jesper was as insistent that we call him Colm as he was that the baby is a boy," you said, laughing slightly. "He wanted us to use your name at least as a middle name, but I didn't think you'd like it. He settled for it being an initial, if my memory and the letters exchanged serves me right."
"You're done with the military, I take it?"
"Nearly five months along, so I'm done for now," you said. "The plan is to move to Ketterdam. Kaz has secured Jespers old flat and I'll be moving in there, raising his child in the spot Jesper loved so much. I don't know more than the specifics Inej has sent me but I know that, and I'm grateful for it. Good to know he had a family to back him up while I was off being a patriot thousands of miles away."
Colm shook his head. "You're not blamin' yourself, are ye?" He asked. "Cause you shouldn't. It's not your fault--it's nobodies fault but the people who killed him. We do what we can, Y/N."
"We do what we can," you repeated, taking a sip of your tea.
You repeated the words to yourself internally, unknowingly giving yourself something of a mantra on which you would come to rely for strength.
--
Hours passed. You slept a bit to recover from your exhaustion of the journey, and at sundown you found yourself standing side by side with the people Jesper called his friends, one of your own friends holding tightly to your hand.
Nina was on your right, Kaz on your left.
"Jesper told me about--" Kaz said, gesturing to the bump with one ungloved hand. The other held tightly to his cane.
"He told you but not me?" Inej asked. "Or Nina? Not even Wylan?"
"I knew," Wylan said. "I think he was waiting for the right time to tell us, but a bit too much bourbon iced tea one night and he was rambling off at the mouth about baby names. It was hilarious."
"Nearly all of the money Jesper got from the heists was sent to an offshore account that Y/N was to be given access to when they went on leave. As the birthing parent, he felt it was more important for them to have the money when they needed it. I just couldn't give them access to the account because of how much has gone on in the past month."
"Is there a point to this?" You asked. "It's bad enough that I have to bury my husband, Mr. Brekker, that the father of my child is dead. I cannot bare a minute more of your rambling so please get on with it."
"Yourself and your child are under Dregs protection," Kaz said. "Jesper left a couple of loose ends which I am in the process of tying on his behalf, but given your status as one of the worlds most powerful Grisha, I figured that it was a necessity. Especially if you are to live in Ketterdam. I know that you can defend yourself perfectly well, Mx. Fahey, but it is just a precaution, and it is one Jesper left in his will."
"I thank you for that, then," you said. "Thank you for all that you have done."
"There's a saying among the Dregs," Kaz said. "No mourners. The response is no funerals. Jesper left a couple of mourners behind, though, and one of them will never meet him. This is the least I could've done."
You glanced at Jespers body. Knelt down to it and forced yourself to stand again so as not to collapse against him and start crying.
His eyes were open. How long had they been open?
"Might I have a minute?" You asked. "I just need the one--please."
Slowly, the people that Jesper called his family left your side.
You knelt down to Jesper again, pressed a kiss against the stiff skin of his forehead.
"I know you cannot come back to us," you whispered. "And I know that I might never see you again, but I do hope we will reunite in the next life. Peace be granted to your soul and joy be granted to your heart, my love. All of the love in the world doubled and returned to you forevermore as you wait for our reunion."
You closed his eyes, tears flooding your own as Matthias approached, he and Colm lowering Jespers body to the ground.
You turned away from them, letting Nina and Inej hug you as tightly as they could manage as Kaz stood off to your left, nodding at you once as your gaze met his.
It was an acknowledgement--a promise.
You have lost him, and we have lost him, and I will make his killers pay the price, said the nod.
You could only hope that he would do so as Nina and Inej lead you back inside.
TWENTY-SIX
Dearest Jesper,
writing this letter almost feels a little pointless, honestly. I know I'm not going to send it anywhere, but writing it is all I can think to do right now, so here I am.
Kaz got the revenge I wanted to get on my behalf, to start. He returned to Ketterdam clean and when I asked after I put the baby down for a nap, he told me everything. The men who killed you have paid for it with their own deaths, my love, and that much means I can rest just a tad bit easier.
Speaking of the baby, our daughter, Rozaliya, is amazing. She has your eyes, the quartz gray I loved for so long, and she has your laugh and she cannot sit still if it would save her life, so there is no doubt in my mind that she is your daughter. You would've loved her, I know.
We've been living in Ketterdam since I was five months pregnant and even for your talents as a fabrikator, I believe she might grow up to be like her birthing parent, who can summon the sun.
Your friends come round to help a lot, and speaking of, did you ever anticipate Kaz Brekker as the type to be good with kids? He can make Rozaliya laugh within two seconds flat, I swear it. Inej is a lucky woman, though not as lucky as I was with you.
She and Kaz come around a lot and Wylan does, too. Plays the flute and the piano--without Wylan Van Eck, our apartment would be without music, and that I know for sure, as despite the recent invention of gramophones, I have not yet found the time to purchase one.
Matthias sings her lullabies and Nina is so full of stories about you that it's nearly a shock, but I love it all so much more than words can express. With them, I have a life full of joy and I find myself wishing daily that you were here to experience it with me.
Jesper, my love, I hope that you are resting easily and I hope that you will continue to. All of the love in the world doubled and given to you,
Y/N L/N, former lieutenant of Second Army Regiment Fifty-Six (and current owner of the Faheys Books bookstore on Fifth Harbor), spouse of Jesper Fahey and lover of him and his handsome face, parent of his child, and summoner of sun and tide
P.S:
I will love you forever, Mr. Fahey, even if you wrote in your will to tell me to move on. Some part of me will always hold onto the part of you I loved, even if my heart finds the love of someone new. I do hope that such is something within which you take solace.

Hello, how are you? Could I request Blue Exorcist Lucifer marriage headcanons with a human female? Please and thank you!
Hello! I am going insane at work, how about you my dear?
Thank you for requesting i hope this is of your liking! Please let me know what you think!
Tsuki's note: I did gender neutral because i'd like to be as inclusive as possible!
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Most people would think that Lucifer wouldn't want a human s/o.
Yet, here you are.
Lucifer did not quite understand or see meaning in it.
But he indulged you in the idea of marriage, but with some few different details.
Like no religious places - he is a demon. that wouldn't make sense, would it?
And he much rather a quiet and private event.
He agreed with everything else you wanted - food, clothing, the whole thing. even his life support because, you know, he gotta be alive for it.
He even wears the ring and all.
You are treated like a royalty by Lucifer.
Most of the Iluminati also treats you very well and very respectfully.
The ones that doesn't, well, let's say they don't stay around for long.
The demon wants you next to him 24/7, if possible.
Even when he is in his life support - he feels safer knowing you are there next to him, as in he can protect you anytime.
Despite he being in the recovery room most of the time, you guys do have a bedroom of your own.
Lucifer allows you decorate however you'd like.
He finds it extremely adorable to see you choose the colors, decor and all.
It makes him even happier when you ask him about his opinion on something- he does let you do whatever you want, but it just brings a strange warmth seeing you worried about his own taste on things.
And he does gives his opinion.
From time to time, he either goes to fetch you a gift or ask Homare to fetch something for you.
If you have mid to long hair he would love to brush it for you.
All meals must be eaten together, you and him.
He is agood listener, so he does pay extra attention to everything - from what you say, what is left in between in lines, your body language, everything.
He knows your body from head to toe, as in, every single mark, scar, beauty marks everything.
Due to his life support he is not exactly able to cuddle you, but, he absolutely loves having you close to him.
Refers to you with royal names ( princess/prince etc..) or just calls you his spouse.
He doesn't always let you join in meetings - is a way of protecting you for things, not everything needs to be seen or known.
He won't allow you in the front lines ever.
There are people for that, no need for you to be in danger.
All in all, Lucifer is a loving, overprotective husband.
He may be cruel to those who try to hurt you or disrespect you.
But there is nothing else in this world that he adores more, than you, his beloved spouse.
And for you he is willing to go great lengths, to the point you can't even dare to imagine.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Thank you for reading!
I feel like this one sucked, sorry !

What are some of the stories you have written that you adore?
Like, if you were trapped on an island for a year and could only take 5 fanfics that you wrote yourself, which ones would it be and why? 😊
I hope you feel better soon!
This question has caused me so much stress you don't even know lmaooo I read it and my initial reaction was to leap for my bookshelf and gather ALL of them while hissing or something cos how the hell am I supposed to choose FIVE and then get on with my life its not FAIR.
But if I HAD to choose...
First would be the Broken Wings Collection: Not only is it ten or eleven different stories all in one, but it involves all my favorite tropes (Omegaverse, Wingfic, found family, polyamory) and has all the best ships including some new ones I tried out just for the sake of the fic, the over all theme of unconditional acceptance no matter anyone's physical or mental health, sexual or gender identity, and the inclusion of not just romantic partners in the family but also purely platonic partners as well as eventually kids? So good. I re read my printed set at least once a year and it never gets old. Also, this fic is the origin of my "you're not broken, just hurt" theme which is always special.
Then Pirate's Heart. For Nostalgia reasons Pirate's Heart will always remain one of my favorites. It was my first fic to break 100k and 200k, it was my first attempt at a big sweeping AU, it was the first time I let a story just sort of take me where it wanted to go, I spent actual days researching random shit like "harbor depth" and "distance between islands" and the Twi language and pirate weaponry and it ended up utterly MASSIVE. The Stucky in the story between Captain/FirstMate Steve and Bucky is absolutely gorgeous, that version of Bucky specifically is just stunning with his tattoos and damage and yes, the way he talks is extremely OOC but it worked SO WELL for him. And TONY in that story-- the personal growth he goes through is amazing, the death scene with Obadiah is maybe one of my best-- just the IMAGERY in that story? Amazing. Also I'm forever very much into Pirate Queen Diana and her lusty first mate Valkyrie. The Great Angst Chapter where Tony tells Stucky "you don't have to worry, I don't love you. I don't love either of you" just before he walks away?" maybe the saddest thing ever??
For Spideypool I'd have to pick More Than Words: Omegaverse Spideypool is best Spideypool, time travel, mutants, conspiracy theories, strong friendship bonds, Wade has fangs (grrrrr), unconditional acceptance and soulmates-- this book has some of the best scenes I've ever written and I mean that wholeheartedly. The scene where Wade says goodbye to Clint, Eddie and Logan when Cable takes him to the future guts me every time. When Wade bleeds out on the cabin floor and Peter sits there sobbing and listening to his heartbeat slow?? The moment of reunion where Peter whispers into the dark "Alpha?" and Wade says "I'm here Pete". It's too much. Plus the motif of "I can feel you/can you feel me" and "You're mine/I'm yours" is actually so beautiful I tear up reading it.
I can't decide on any particular Stony or Winteriron story because I love literally all of them, but I think I'd go with my Time Falls Away Series: It's rewritten canon of the Captain America movies, also time travel but the first book really focuses on 40s era Winteriron, the second on 2012ish Stony and then the third is both Winteriron and Stony so it's like, the best of everything? This is also the series that made me really fall in love with Steve cos I really dove into both his pre serum and post serum characterization in the first book. Honestly up till that point I wasn't entirely sold on Stony. I loved Winteriron and Stony made sense from a shipping and aesthetic point of view but I didn't love Steve as a character yet. The Time Falls Away series changed that for me, I felt like I finally really understood him. Plus Bucky's "sure thing sweet thing" became #NCTS Canon after these fics, and the scene where he winks and tells tony "I'll see you real soon, sweet thing" before going off on the mission where he falls from the train and disappears for seventy years? YIKES.
I'd have to bring a ST fic with me just cos that fandom and those characters have me in a death grip right now. BUT I've only written Rest and Risk and I know for a fact that the upcoming BillySteve Flayed!Soulmate AU would make the deserted island list and so would the Omega!Steddie one so... I'll have to leave that last spot open for now until I get those fics written!!!

Please tell the masses the ideas you’ve had for Calem and Serena!! Your designs for them are adorable and I’d love to hear more about your interpretations of The Frenchies
Sure thing!
Both of them have bits about them that represent different parts of the player character.
Calem: I made him selectively mute because he's meant to represent the main player character who doesn't have a lot of dialogue. He will talk when he feels like it and that's mostly with the friend group, Sycamore, His mother, or if he feels its absolutely necessary. He mainly uses sign language and occasionally the holocaster/a notepad if he's not speaking with someone who knows sign. His friends and Sycamore learned sign to make conversations more inclusive for him.
I gave him the female excusive nickname C-Kins because honestly the only gendered nick name is Lady and this is my house. The group started calling him Seaking because C-Kins sounded like Seaking if said fast enough. He loves the nickname.
He's the son of Grace. Which contrasts to the Serena usually being her daughter (anime/manga). He actually enjoys rhyhorn racing and doesnt mind his mom teaching him. Him being selected to be a dex holder was his mothers idea to get him out of the house a bit and Sycamore was happy to include him. He picked Froakie as a starter.
His journey wasn't about being the best trainer but more so about exploration. He likes helping Shauna with her scrapbook and stopping to take it all in. He did obtain the 8 badges but never really beat the league because well it was never on his to do list. Even so he still gave Serena a challenge.
The feather in his hair is a molted feather from his mothers Fletchling. It makes him feel close to home as he travels.
Serena: She's Meant to represent the main rival but has some Player characteristics to her. Shes the one with the mega ring and beat the Champion. Unlike in the anime and manga she's the daughter of the 'amazing trainers' mentioned by Shauna. Serena loves training to the point she's often sunburnt from staying out doing so and forgetting to use sunscreen. Most people assumed her passion is because her parents pressured her but that's false. Her starter was Chespin. and she has the Battle Chateau title of Marchioness.
Out of the friend group she's the natural leader. Despite having a fiery nature to her she's the coolest under pressure and tends to step in to be the voice of reason when situations get tense. Part of training is patience and quick decision making and since battling is second nature to her it carries over into other parts of her life. Not to say she's never acted impulsively. The team flare situation was a bunch of quick decisions some of which were impulsive or heavily influenced by emotion. She tends to keep Shauna and Tierno (the most emotionally driven people in the group) from acting based on feelings if it would be detrimental to them. She knows your heart is in the right place but you cant help anyone if you get hurt by not having a plan. She knows youre upset but this argument isn't going to solve the problem. And yet in situations like Trevor's mom or Team Flare all that's thrown out the window and she's also acting on emotion and adrenaline.
She got the nickname of S- Meister (its my house gendered nicknames don't exist anymore brought to you by nonbinary gang/lh). Tierno gave it to her because of her skills as a trainer. But Shauna calls her Rena/Rina. She enjoys participating in her friends passions so they have a reason to push themselves further. Trevor likes dex battles? ok! lets go fishing to see who can catch the most individual water pokemon. Tierno likes dance? Cool! lets make a pair choreography! Shauna likes scrapbooking and writing journals about her journey? Time to make as many memories together as possible! Calem likes Ryhorn racing? Even if its casual shes happy to learn from him to give him a bit of friendly competition.

Reproductive Justice is not just about cis women!
I’ve noticed a disappointing lack of inclusivity in our conversations about the recent leak on Roe v. Wade. Most of the posts I’ve seen talking about the overturning of this case have talked solely about women and women’s rights. Protests have also been occurring frequently under the title of “women’s marches''. I am all for the protests, but it is important that we remember that women are not the only people who can get pregnant, and not all women can get pregnant at all. To use the term “women” erases gender-noncomforming and trans* people from the conversation in so many ways. For all of the trans men, non-binary people, and other gender-noncomforming people who can get pregnant, please update the way you talk about reproductive justice to use more inclusive language. Terms like “people who might get pregnant”, “people with uteruses'', or even “people of childbearing age” are easy to use and helpful for community building support. Using these terms can help everyone feel included in this issue which affects so many. This case and the effects it will have on reproductive rights are not just limited to cis women, and it is exclusionary and often hurtful to refer to it as if it did.
The issue of reproductive justice reaches deep into the idea of bodily autonomy, which is extremely important for the trans* community. If people do not have bodily autonomy about abortion or birth control, trans* people’s rights to choose things like hormone replacement therapy, surgery, and pregnancy are also violated. Furthermore, I have noticed way less media concern about recent anti-trans legislation since the news about Roe v. Wade dropped. These legislations are of huge concern and are extremely dangerous for trans* youth, so it is very important that we don’t forget about them in the wake of this new news. I think it is critical that everyone who can get pregnant feel included in this fight and be willing to support one another in movements beyond reproductive justice.
This news leak and the social media response also begs us to talk about how reproductive justice has been and continues to be a racialized issue. In the aftermath of the leak, I have read hundreds of comments (mostly from white women) comparing this “new reality” to the world depicted in The Handmaid’s Tale. The world depicted in that series is not a fantasy, though, it was based on the injustices and horrors that People of Color have been facing for decades. From forced pregnancies and rape to forced sterilizations, none of this is new, so it is insensitive to act as though it is. These injustices are intersectional in nature and are of course impacted by race, gender identity and expression, (dis)ability, and wealth.
Reproductive justice must center and value the experiences of all people who have been denied bodily autonomy and the right to choose. This must include trans* people, people of color, disabled people, immigrants, and people living in poverty along with unlimited groups of historically under-represented people. Please make sure you are staying conscious of the intersectionality of reproductive justice. Seek out resources by people of color, disabled people, etc. in an effort to educate yourself, as well as educating the people around you about the importance of this when the opportunity arises. I urge you to donate to abortion funds and trans* support/mutual aid funds in your area if you can, and also make sure to reach out and support your loved ones however you are able.

For my cis allies:
My chosen name IS my real name, whether I've changed it legally or not.
My genitals and sex life are none of your business. Don't ask about them.
I don't "identify as transgender". I am transgender. I identify as a problem.
Attack helicopter jokes are unoriginal and unfunny. At least come up with something original.
Tr***y is a slur. Don't use it.
I'm not transsexual. I don't identify as my sex. I identify as my gender.
Gender neutral language isn't hard. Just say person and use the word they. You don't have to say "guy or girl". Say person. Less syllables, less trouble.
It's okay to mess up on someone's pronouns. It's not okay to refuse to use the right ones.
Its okay to mess up on our chosen names. It's not okay to tell people "this is my friend, she used to be Alexis, but now she is Michael.".
DO NOT introduce us to random people as "my transgender friend". If you don't know if that person is trans inclusive, you are putting us in danger.
Nobody is putting litter boxes in schools. Nobody identifies as a cat (and to my knowledge, therianthropy is a spiritual belief, not an "I identify as this" type thing so either way, shut up).
Yes, we know what our biological sex is. It's that our gender and sex don't match up.
Neopronouns and xenogenders aren't that big a deal. They're a little goofy, but that's it. Cool your tits.
You support all of us, or you support none of us. Pick one.
Nobody is pretending to be trans to assault women, because you don't have to pretend to be trans to do that, because nobody gets justice. Instead of blaming all trans women, let's, I don't know, blame abusers. (Yes, trans women can be abusers, the problem arises when you pin it on them being trans)
It's okay to get your information wrong. What's not okay is to be a dick about it when someone points out that it's incorrect.
"Biological women" don't exist. Woman is a gendered term. Female typically refers to a biological sex.
On that note, some of us are made dysphoric by being referred to as "biological fe/males". If you want to be more inclusive than that, use AFAB or AMAB, or something like "person with a uterus" or "people with penises".
HUMAN AND MANKIND ARE NOT GENDERED TERMS. At the time human and mankind were coined, "man" simply meant a person. Although gender neutral language never hurt anyone, most people will find it pretty weird if you use the word "peoplekind" in conversation.
Nobody is giving surgeries or HRT to minors. The most minors can do to transition is wear new clothes, change names and pronouns, and maybe get a haircut.
I'm gonna do other versions for Allistic and straight allies, so stay tuned I guess.

New years resolution for 2023:
the next time my parents get their panties in a transphobic twist over gender inclusive language, I'll straight up ask them in what way this new development in the German language hurts them personally. Like point blank. Is there anything about the *innen addition to formerly masculine terms that outright hurts them or inconveniences them past the simple "Well we didn't have that back in our day and it's so hard to get used to language evolution because we're old and back in our day everything was better and that's how it should stay forever and always mimimimimi".
I'll just neutrally confront them. I do not want to be silent any longer. Gonna speak up about it the same way I've been challenging them on judging other people's clothing/hair/make up/piercing/tattoo choices.
Like. In what way does it negatively affect you. Beyond the "new language practices scary, my transphobic and misogynistic old-fashioned views are being challenged and I do not like it".
Like, grow just one damn compassionate, empathetic bone in your old crusty body!!!
