the batfamily would NOT be on social media at all realistically, but of course tim loooooves photography, so i think he'd be a super dedicated scrapbook-mom type instead. (to compensate for the incredible instagram posts he WOULD make)
like, he's got books for each of his friends, one for each family member, and multiple for pictures of parts of the family and all of them together (although rare). he even has separate books for people in-costume and out-of-costume.
every christmas + birthday he recieves a loooooot of scrapbooking materials, he has draws of washi tape and stickers in his room.
he definitely tries his best to match the themes of the pages to the people in them too, and not one book has the same feel to it. he always writes very sincere little captions under the pictures as well. if he wasn't so attached to the books, he'd give them as gifts.

i would die if you wrote anything expanding on that post about chuuya being taken over by baki and just floating all over the place and speaking with an echo until he gets to dazai at the ADA office - that was a great idea, very cool
yooo thanks man !!!
here you go, a little more brainworms regarding that au!
• when Baki wakes up in a back alleyway and tries to stand up they overdo it and snap Chuuya's spine in the process. they try to walk and all of a sudden they are on the ground with mild pains from the vessel' legs. they aren't sure how a human body works, so for now they decide to just float.
• Baki, in my hc, is very curious for just about everything because it's quite rare that they 'view' the world through a humans' eyes
• piggybacking off of that, i think that they'd have trouble expressing their thoughts in the beggining (speaking in short, sometimes conflicting/unfinished sentences) because using human vocal cords without snapping them is difficult and also words have changed since the last time they were actively using them. Ranpo just chucks a dictionary at them and they absolutely ABSORB every word
• i also think that they'd want to sword fight with both Fukuzawa and Golden Demon/ Kouyou for fun
• they can make Dazai float and he just about gives up on life ( something something 'your human existence can not deny mine' yeah me thinks)
• i personally think that theyd be slightly more chill than expected, however when they get upset, or emotions generally run high, the control over the body begings to wobble. some examples of that being:
- the overlapping voices are the most common ones. they are a mass manifested through war and suffering and vengeance, thus Baki has to be extremely careful of how loud they speak because there's a great chance that someone's eardrums will explode.
- corruption markings are a damn near permanent fixture on Chuuya's skin, more so to help remind everyone that this isn't Chuuya in control right now (Dazai is constantly stressed about it, and has to consistently tell himself that it's fine), but they tend to grow and glow and move around like they are alive too, as if also taking offence that Baki is agitated. they also burn if touched directly
- people around an Agitated Baki feel like they are about to poof out of existence simply by being too close. Mori nearly dies once because Baki can see his general soul and is not pleased. it kinda feels like your blood suddenly starts running the other way, or your like heart is beating backwards and double in speed. not fun !
- sometimes birds fly into the windows. maybe the sky tints red, maybe there is ringing in the ears, static in the brain of those around them. maybe looking at Chuuya's form hurts a little, burns a little, blurs around the edges. what were his features again? what color were his eyes? his hair?
• Baki loves Chuuya and learning all about him :] ( "and his name? what is his name? we would love to know who our vessel is."
"it's Chuuya Nakahara.."
the entity thinks, hums for a bit, vibrations making the lights swim around it, then pleased, it smiles "hmm Chuuya... it suits him a lot" )
• disregarding stormbringer for a moment, when asked how exactly one traps a being like it, Baki kindly informs them that there are runes carved into every bone inside Chuuya. yes, they do mean every single one.
• also, and that's a little.... gruesome, but it's a misconception that Baki and Chuuya share only a consciousness. "it's like that most of the time, but right now what you are looking at is ... ah, let's say, our clothes. we are woven in-between his skin and bones and every blood vessel, but also we are separate. it's like a hand pupet? we are under his skin :)"
• Baki absolutely says unhinged things like its normal
• they also find it funny to tease Ranpo because they recognise just how smart of a human he is but also he's just that to them. a human
• i also have this scene when someone complains about the sun or something so Baki just,,, shifts either the Earth or the Sun a bit so that it's not shining directly at the person. everyone FREAKS abt this btw
• Baki also loves the Akutagawas and Kouyou bc Chuuya loves them :]
some skk things bc i love them:
• Baki tells Dazai, hand pressed against his heart, looking him dead in the eyes with that slightly unhinged expression "no wonder you hold onto warm things, for you have been warm once, then never again. no wonder you seek to be warm again" and Dazai just has to go through his day after that
• okay last thing off of the top of my head, but somehow they (the ada) get into the topic of worship and Baki casually drops that yes! they get prayers sometimes but nothing even begins to compare to the feeling of the worship from their most devoted person. naturally everyone wants to know who that is, and Baki tilts their head a little and then points to a Very Confused Dazai (Ranpo and Kunikida are exhanging money in the backround btw).
("but... i don't worship the hat rack?? what?"
"oh, but that can't be" they sway a little from their perch on Dazai's desk, appearing as if deep in thought. after the day, Dazai knows better. "but we can distinctly recal feeling a sort of warmth from you. say, how do you define worship? because it can be food offerings too. or thoughts about us or even just the pure, unrelenting faith that as long as you believe in us, your wish will be made into existence"
Dazai blinks at them, stunned.
"so now, has your answer changed?" )
• LAST one. Ranpo asks them if Dazai has ever nullified corruption with a kiss and Baki is like we think so? but Dazai denies that hard. Baki counters by saying that every place where 'coruption' has been nullified burns to this day. twice on left the wrist, once at the forearm. once at the right hand, once at the cheek, and once ot the lips. Dazai may or may not work harder to resolve the issue after that (he's never gonna beat the gay accusations)
(end of skk things hh)
• when it's time to surrender themselves back to Chuuyas will, Baki tells the ada + the Akutagawas and Kouyou, that when their time finally comes, when Chuuya is either one of them or dust in the wind, they will remember the kindness they have experienced. that they will live forever in the mind of a god
• Chuuya is so, so confused after waking up

Thinking of body swaps
If it would be the og, kokotiam, that has more potential esp if they want to jeep it hidden
But either way, would that provide more potentiak or story/plot?? Since it would be weird to change bodies, but itd be pretty easy to adapt depending on the person, like ying><yaya, fang could be gopal, gopal could be boboiboy, and boboiboy could be fang
One easy solution is them getting their power watches back, but if they do want to keep it hidden that means theyd have to adjust to their power watches, gopal enduring personality changes and elemental powers since boi's watch is pretty complicated now, not like when it was when they were children
Fang might actually do pretty well and adapt more on the molecular manipulation and use it for other than food, Boi would struggle using Shadow and how to use them properly
Ying isnt really a fly and punch type, shes always so speedy and on the ground, can she even adapt well by that? Same goes for Yaya, Shes the fly and punch type, and not someone so speedy
I also thought if boi is able to use his power watch with fangs body, the elements will be weirded out on being within fangs body and might make comments about it(basically just annoying fang all the way)
If it was Septuplet au, the siblings swapping wont really do anything since theyre identical, its basically just swapping clothes right??? Kokotiam would swap with each other and the siblings would swap with each other, well what about the physical damage on them?
Petir in Cahaya's body
He'd pretty anxious cuz now he feels so much fatigue(how long has his brother not slept??!!!) He also cant see well.
He would experience pain and shocks from the spine and ribs for a few times
Solar power takes too much energy he cant participate often, but thats weird, he should participate in missions he needs to make sure his brothers have someone there to protect them and be there for them
Not to mention the drawbacks of using the power, which could push him back ever so often. What else can he even do for that power right now???
And people coming to him for info in Tapops, he has no idea what to say and what to do
Angin in Tanah's body
Angin is super happy he gains muscle and is able to lift more than his weight but hes never a heavy hitter
Hes more of a careless guy who would whoop around and do acrobats, hes not flexible here and everything feels more heavier, he wonders if his brother had ever taken time to relax
Hed want to take care of himself the most out of all his brothers since he thinks Tanah's body needs it.
Hes also not a strategizing person( why does he need to be the leader rn??) Hes someone who goes with flow and is unpredictable, he doesnt need to predict enemies
How does he form that golem????? He doesnt know how to move in Tanah's body and using his power
Tanah in Api's body
Everything is more warmer than usual, he finds it weird
How can he release the fire??? How can he use fire??? He's always so cautious and fire is unpredictable how can he use it??? And if theyre pretending they didnt swap he doesnt know how to be a chaotic person all the time
Fire needs to be moving, it doesnt stay stationary in one place like earth does, he cant fight rapidly as Api and it gets so hot all the time.
How does he move with fire anyways??? How can he act like api full-time when he always has been a precise person who needs to be calm. Fire cant even do what hes wanting it to do. Does he need to be angry??? Whenever hes angry the fire goes haywire he doesnt know what to do with it???
Api in Petir's body
What do you mean he needs to be fast and precise??? He doesnt know how to use swords how do you form lightning chakras??
Hed be pretty much just be chaotic being Petir(Petir would get mad at him)
Zooming around is actually pretty fun but he doesnt know how to stop or land
Lightning is actually similar to his fire but yet so different, lightning is not something you punch or kick with, its strikes at far distances and connects to one another
So he needs to be serious??? How?
Air in Angin's body
Moving with the wind seems similar to his water but no, its wild and unpredictable how do you move with wind
Its not a physical thing, how do you attack people with a gust of wind
You cant have a water bubble to sleep on :(
He finds it nice to have his right arm back ngl
As someone whos chill, and his wind becomes chill, its not as powerfull as he intends it to be
If he has to pretend, he needs to be lively?? That takes so much energy he would just want to sleep
Daun in Air's body
He doesnt like having no arm and everything feels cold he wants to be wrapped up and stay in a warm place
Hes not a long ranged shoot guy what does he do??? He doesnt have his plants to heal people or help him out what should he do with water or ice???
The water is unstable and he doesn't know where the ice should go and be
How does he move in ice, he slips everytime
If he acts like Air then that means he has to sleep all the time no? But he isnt tired
Plants have many uses and he knows how to use them to the fullest, what are water or ice's uses??? How does he use them to the fullest? Theyre not alive and they dont move on his will, he needs to fully controll them
How does he make an ice arm he doesnt like being one armed
Cahaya in Daun's body
As someone who forgets to eat, his now body reminds him more frequently than his then body and he has to take care of himself because this is Daun's body
He doesnt have his light powers to activate whenever things get dark
He needs to learn more about the different types of plants because now he has a use, plants have many uses
How does he control the plants actually?
So he needs to be naive and childish to be daun, doesnt he? Why cant they just swap clothes? Oh wait, the body differences still stand out
Plus points, nothing hurts anymore
Nevermind, the arms and hands would hurt time to time
How do you hold the vines when it literally cuts through your hands??
Hes not graceful with the plants he just isnt. He shouldnt mess this up though

sploon (mainly deep cut) headcanons because its nearly midnight and whats better than sleep??? sploon hyperfixation. plus thisll act as a good dumping ground for headcanons that are canon to my oc au im developing, which includes my agents n stuff
all of them are neurodivergent in some way because, as a neurodivergent person, its VERY hard to try and write a character who isnt. so uh oops
LABELS: shiver is agender and use they/he/other pronouns. they also give me afab vibes (yeah yeah i know theyre wearing a sarashi and not bandages, im mainly going off their vibes and the fact that sarashi can double as a (much safer) binding practice when compared to bandages). they just think they/he pronouns are fun to say and hear, but literally any pronouns are fine for them. their lack of gender makes them above the concept of gender itself, iconic. ill mainly refer to them using they/them pronouns for simplicity. also theyre hella bi and tbh give me vibes that theyre somewhere on the asexual spectrum
frye is enby and uses she/they pronouns. shes very ace vibes and is biromantic
big man doesnt really mind nor actively choose labels for himself. hes just vibing as his he/him self and honestly? so true of him
agents 3 and 4 are both non-binary while agent 8 is polygender (i think thats the word? correct me if im wrong. basically multi-track drifting but in gender form and not exactly genderfluid since the gender is consistently yes). also im a supporter of agent 96 propaganda because 1 the ship name is funny and 2 fun dymanics
agent 3 gives me they/she asexual-demiromantic vibes. like its just true, trust me my dad is nintendo he told me
agent 4 is giving me they/them asexual of pure chaos and energy. also gives me demiromantic vibes but like in the opposite way to agent 3 if that makes sense. theyre both two sides of a spectrum
agent 8 never understood labels and stuff. thats not even coming from the octarian army or something, he just. never vibed with it. so instead shes yes to gender and loves their partners and thats all that matters to them
OTHER THINGS:
frye is the one who taught shiver inkling when shiver defected from the octarian army, aka they knew how to curse people out first and foremost, much to their frye's enjoyment and big man's dismay
frye streams gaming content and has one of those mics that go completely silent whenever she screams or yells too close to it. their alert for someone subscribing to their streaming channel is a voice clip of her breaking her microphone's audio input while playing a horror game
deep cut live in a nice apartment together and each have their own rooms (my oc rome has a room as well but shhh this isnt about him)
big man has a lot of plants in his room that he takes very good care of :3 all the handles to stuff is also larger so his fins can hold em better!! id think hed like soft things, so hes definitely got bean bag chairs and comfy blankets to snuggle up in
frye has a bunch of space to climb around in her room, like theyve got a thick fishing net attached to their ceiling and will crawl up and use it as a hammock. shes also got a bunk bed with a desk underneath!!!
shiver's room is nice and tidy, but still has a lot of decoration and personality to it. theyve got their aesthetic down and everything!! plus id imagine theyd like scented candles, so their room always has a soft scent to it. nothing overpowering ofc, just a subtle smell that makes the room feel nice. also, they own like a billion games and keep em all in a cabinet
shiver can whistle REALLY loudly due to losing one of their fangs (their top left fang since we already cant really see it if it's there). they use this power on their float during splatfest when the whistle part of their solo comes up
ill add more later but right now im tired sleepy so gn gay people im going to bed

BUBBLEWRAP — P. HEYWARD
in which pope heyward loves every inch of his partner but he could deal without having to clean new wounds every day.
taglist | masterlist | 1.3k words
warning(s): descriptions of wounds, they/them pronouns, no season 2 spoilers !!
Tumblr media
You would think after months of dating Pope would be used to it but clearly not. Y/n was a clutz, that could be said around anyone on the island. Whether it be tripping in stores, or wiping out on a surf board, there was hardly ever a time where they didn’t find a way to have to brace for impact. Not only were they a clutz but along with an adrenaline junkie and neither went well together.
Pope joked about the need to constantly hold y/n close due to the fact that they were a walking accident magnet. It was hardly ever a time where you wouldn’t find Pope Heyward with an arm around his lover or his hand tucked in their back pocket just to pull them back so they didn’t trip on their own sandals. Pope was awfully protective of his partner and seeing them come in the chateau often with a new marking and an excuse on how theyd received it, it always made him give them a bored face.
Just last week they’d walked in with a gash through their eyebrow, a reopened scar across the top and into the eyelid. JJ stood behind them, hand patted on them shoulder and a toothy grin. A sheepish smile resided on their face despite dribbling blood down the side of their face as Pope sighed, hand dragging down his face. “What happened this time?” Pope asked, watching Kie pull Y/n to the couch to sit.
“When we went to get the beer, JJ jumped over a trash can so I tried but I fell.” They excused, looking towards Pope as John B and JJ began to laugh. “Sorry, honey.” and all Pope could do was shake his head and kiss the top of their head.
But sometimes the least of his worries were tiny gashes within their forehead or bruised knees. Sometimes they pushed the limits way further than needed. For now, they stood at the kegger, a group of teenagers for the most part gathered around the boneyard. Pope stood, laughing at something JJ said. One hand held a red solo cup, the same arm wrapped around y/n’s waist as they leaned in to Pope’s touch. Often times, mid conversation, Pope would lean in and press his lips to Y/n’s temple without even thinking about it. Y/n would smile at the affection, holding Pope’s other hand close to their chest.
Pope had to excuse himself from his partner, deciding to go get another drink, leaving Y/n with Kie and JJ, which probably was the worst people to leave them with. At first, Y/n had zero interest in the conversation, rather keeping to their thoughts instead, but JJ had brought up an old memory. “Remember when we used to jump over the fires when we were kids?”
“You mean the tiny baby fires we made with three pieces of paper? That was nothing, JJ.” kie replied, voice muffling just slightly as she brought up the cup to her mouth.
Y/n remembered that, they’d make small fires on the beach and jump over them for fun. They were 12, of course, so they didn’t have access to what they did now as the fire went up to y/n’s calf. They looked over to the one that remained in the middle of the group, an open space around it as a grin came upon their face. “How much money for me to jump over that one?”
“Uh, none?” Kie questioned with a shake of her head. “Pope will kill us if you get hurt again. You literally have a split lip from last week still.”
Y/n looked around dramatically, a smirk on their face. “Mmm, i don’t see pope around.” They replied in a sing songy tone, slowly walking backwards.
“Y/n, Y/n, no, stop it.” JJ said, pointing his finger at them as they shimmied their shoulders in a taunt. “Y/n, I swear to god.”
“Love you, guys.” They shouted quickly before weaving their way through the poeple around to get to the fire in the middle. Kie and JJ both cursed, placing down their drinks to rush after their friend but they were faster on their feet, already stood before the fire. “If you come closer, I could react and like.. fall or something. Reflex, bitch.” They told them, standing before the fire with a smile.
All the pogues heavily hated and loved the jokes that followed with being friends with Y/n but they also knew that sometimes they could take it a bit too far. They’d never want one another to come in harm, even if it was the one who was constantly finding a way to. “Y/n, I’m not kidding, you’re going to hurt yourself.”
Y/n groaned before nodding. “Fine, fine.” They gave in, going to walk towards her friends when the sticks at the bottom of the fire had collapsed, one branch scraping down the back of y/n’s calf, the pain searing up their leg in an instant. JJ and Kie both widened their eyes, seeing Y/n trip over themselves to not put their injured leg onto the ground. Several gasps were heard around but none more than pope when he’d come back to find his partner.
“we told you not to go near it.” JJ muttered, seeing Pope pull Y/n to their feet though the scraped calf was bent upwards as to not put weight on it. Pope helped them over to a log, sitting them down as they watched them shut their eyes in pain, tears falling down their cheeks.
“I’ve got bandaids in my bookbag, i’ll be back.”Kkie added in, quickly running off to grab them.
JJ placed a hand on y/n’s shoulder, noticing their discomfort and knowing how they felt about the attention of everyone. “shows over, stop acting surprised!” JJ shouted over everything, seeing people who kept their eyes on the ground turning away in an instant.
Pope wanted to be made, glaring slightly towards his two friends but his features softening when he noticed the way Y/n’s face flared up in pain, red flooding their cheeks along with the tears that fell in a stream. “Hey, baby. Just breath slowly. That’s all you have to do.” He said, placing his hands on her hips as he rubbed his thumbs back and forth against their skin in a comforting way.
“Easier said than done.” They muttered, eyes looking up at the sky to try and stop the tears for pope to chuckle, placing a kiss to their knee. Kie quickly came back, two items in hand as she handed them over towards pope. Leave it to Kie to be prepared for everything. “Just get it over with.”
Pope cringed, pulling the small alcoholic wipe from the packaging to press it over the cut, recoiling at the wincing from Y/n. He let out a string of apologies, quick with his movements and pressing two large bandaids over the wound. He made an excuse on how he’d take y/n back in the van and come back for them whenever they messaged.
Once back at the chateau, Pope was quick to help his partner to the couch, careful with the way they whined in pain. He lied beside them, feeling Y/n turn and lean their head on pope’s chest. “Sorry.” Y/n apologized, feeling Pope weave his hands through their hair. Pope hummed in confusion, head leaned against the back of the couch and looking up at the ceiling. “For getting hurt… again.”
Pope laughed, shaking his head. “You have nothing to be sorry for, alright?” he asked, y/n shifting to look up at him. “It happened and I’m hoping you’re okay. that’s all that matters.” She lifted herself slightly, just high enough to kiss him. They had no words to explain their gratitude for the boy in front of them other than the affection they offered. Their hand rested on his cheek, rubbing her thumb against it as he did the same against her hip. The two were quickly interrupted by the sharp air pulled through y/n’s teeth, their injury pushed against the couch just barely as they lowered themselves back into pope’s side. “I’m going to put you in bubble wrap.
“Oh shut up, that’s the oldest joke in the books.”
• • •
ah! i hope that was good for my first one! i love pope with a passion, it’s unhealthy </3

Haikyu! Characters With A Shy Manager
Inarizaki Boys With A Shy Manager
tw” joke about ‘offing’ ones self & also overbearing parents
Read Part One Here
osamu
-osamu is someone who’s laidback and doesn’t show his anger much except for when his brother pisses him off and right now Atsumu was nearing the edge of his brothers patience
“ I don’t care what you do as long as your happy “
“ if thats what you want to do then who are we to stop you “
your eyes traveled as you watched osamus mouth quirk up in a small smile before turning into a frown at his brothers face
His body ignoring him and looking to you awaiting your answer his eyes speaking as if your words could change his decision
“ uh I— I don’- “
“ who cares what yer think “ atsumus voice came out in a yell as he turned to his brother
“ are you stupid why would you leave all of this — why would you throw all of this away “ he moved to point to everything in the gym and the balls that sat idle after a match theyd just played and won
“ this can provide for a family — life after high school ‘samu and you want to “
his face came up in confusion “ and you want to leave it all for a restaurant how — why— why would that make sense to you — it’s stupid “
you felt your body go slack as your face dropped into a pout at atsumu’s claims . Throughout all the times you’d seen them argue this had to be the biggest one you’d ever seen take place in front of the team.
You felt horrible your mouth wanted to open to try to protect osamu seeing as he was the only one who put effort into trying to speak with you.
Ever since you joined the team no one could really understand why you were so quiet except for osamu who would sit next to you during breaks and lunches that he’d share his food with you after you finished the bento box he’d made you
your heart tore as you watched him look to the ground ‘ just say something ‘samu please if this is what you want then tell him — it’s your life ‘
“ have you ever stopped and thought about how this may just be what you want ‘tsumu “
atsumus yells stopped as he heard his brothers voice and head pop up to target him
“ maybe this isn’t something I feel my talents are best used for “
he stood with his eyebrows furrowed in determination “ I like food — it makes me happy just like volley’ makes you so — I don’t care if it’s hard and not as easy as volleyball is for me right now —I want to do what my minds telling me to do “
he huffed “ and that’s to cook and open my own restaurant“
he moved to walk over to his brother to get closer with both his words and body “ and don’t you ever yell at them like that again you probably made them piss their pants “
he calmed himself down as he looked his brother in the eyes “ if your nice now “ he huffed out putting his arms into a hold across his chest “ maybe I might just give you a free meal when I open my restaurant “
Everyone’s body turned in shock and fear when they looked behind them to see your body shaking mouth being ripped open with a calming laugh as you clutched at you stomach
Everything seemed to slow in the gym as osamu watched your body ripple with the loud laugh that came out. Wondering how you’d held it inside for so long seeing as this was the first time anyone heard you laugh
“ y-y/n why — why are you laughing “
“ how can you laugh at a time like this we’re fighting“ Atsumus voice had calmed down in a state of panic at your new behavior
“ because osuma said you not gonna get any food“ you smiled “ and I know right now you don’t care but I bet when you get older and you see his amazing restaurant with a long line in front your gonna wish you’d sucked it up in this moment so you can take that free plate “
osamus mouth itched as his wide eyes squeezed shut at your bright smile his mouth opening before he could stop himself “ if you believe in me so much please believe I could keep you fed if you date me “
your body froze as everyone now turned in fear from you to osamu
“ Will I get rice for lunch everyday “ you giggled
“ i’ll make you anything you want out of rice if that’s what you like — i’ll even make you a wedding ring out of rice “
you laughed as you shook your head in a yes form “ as long as the foods included and you never give up on your dreams — no matter who believes in them “
your voice was soft “ then yes i’ll date you osamu “
you watched as he smiled widely sticking his tounge out at his brother “ oh now it’s really fuck what you think ‘tsumu— cause your the one who told me food wouldn’t be enough to get them to date me— I should’ve just made them the cake like I wanted and asked ‘em out “
The team all stood in shock as Arans mouth opened and closed before he spoke again “ u-uh how did that even make sense— what just happened “
sunas body relaxed against the wall as he spoke soft and quiet “ osumas quit volley’ to be a chef, y/n believes in him so their dating, and “ he pointed to atsumu
“ and once again Atsumu looks stupid “
Atsumu
-he’s not one who would necessarily get along with someone shy nor do I see him being able to. The way he acts may go two ways it may make the person comfortable or it may just irritate them and make them even more anxious
-I don’t think he’s one to see the signs , he would probably take your uncomfortable laughter as him making you laugh and tell the whole team he finally broke you and got you to laugh
“ atsumu “
The setter called as he threw up a new set for his brother in the two on two practice match. His hand hitting the ball hard in a spike as he won his team the final point
Your body dropping as you immediately knew what was coming “ y/n-san did you see that “
“ y-yes atsumu-senpai “
“ it was cool wasnt it “ he said as he moved towards you
“ y-yes “
he smirked as he slid his hands in his pocket looking down on you as he came to a stop in front of your body “ well when your just a great player like me things like that come easy so you don’t have to worry if I hurt myself or not “
he looked away from you and to the floor but eyes darting up to look at you again quickly “ because I didn’t so yeah — don’t think I did “
you smiled softly trying to think of a way out of this “ I-I didn’t think so “
“ yeah see you know someone like me would never get injured —I have to be a great role model to my sweet little first year“
he patted your head as he sat down next to you feet out in front of him “ don’t go turning into one of my annoying fan girls ok y/n “
“ I won’t “
“ ah you don’t mean that “ he bumped you softly “ you love me—so your loves gonna blind you you’ll see “
“ oh “
“ see you do — and I love you too “
“ dude they dont even like talking to you “
“ oh shut yer trap yes they do their in love with me we’re destined to be together “
“ yeah in death — that’s what your gonna do ‘tsumu yer gonna make them off theirselves by hearing yer loud mouth every single time you win a match “
“ y/n you love me right “
your body flamed as you let out an uncomfortable laugh moving over on the bench “ they look —their laughing because it’s true “
his body stopped “ wait “
you felt as the wheels were turning in his head —a bit slow but they were turning
his voice coming out in mumbles “ if their laughing— and i’m talking— and now their laughing after I spoke —-l”
he yelled “ I MADE Y/N-SAN LAUGH “
he screamed in happiness smile huge “ I made them laugh guys “
he jolted up jumping when he stood before racing over to the group that all turned to look at him “ their laughing guys I — I did it their laughing their laug—“
your eyes darted to the floor as atsumu fell head first into the floor his voice coming out in a whine as he shook coming up to grab his nose in pain before reaching down to rub his ankle that he felt was thumping like crazy
“ y-you lied you did hurt yourself “
he moved to run his hand across the back of his neck “ well when you say hurt what do you me—“
your laugh came out in short giggles as you tried to hide it not wanting to give him the satisfaction of making you laugh your head turning to the side as you gave up and laughed into the air
Your giggles sounding like a song atsumu always wanted to play through his headphones when he would walk to school
His body thinking before his mind as he stood up and ran again towards the team “ Guys their — I did it again and you all saw — i’m amazing “
he fell forward again but this time just lying there as he mumbled into the ground
“ their totally in love with me — I made ‘em laugh not once but twice in a row —I got a real shot now“
Aran
-I don’t know much about him because I haven’t finished haikyu! I just know what i’ve gathered from short clips or from what i’ve seen already in the seasons & read in manga but he’s very open minded
-whenever he’s around you he’s always quick to snap and stop someone from telling you that you aren’t allowed to do something because it’s “ not logical “
Your body moved slowly to the gyms exit as you felt a hand come down over your shoulder
“ walk ‘ya home ? “
you looked up face stoic in a slight yes at Arans question
since you’d joined the team as manager you had yet to connect with the other boys only really speaking to Aran and helping him out when he needed it
He came to like being around you because you were a change of pace from his usual one dealing with the twins antics. So it wasn’t that hard to hear him asking to walk you home for the past few nights when practice ran too long
he sighed as he looked down at you “ you never really speak but I feel like your face talks for you “
you looked to the ground as he laughed “ get it because your always stoic —and your face shows noth—ok“
he looked away not hearing your laugh or seeing a smile deciding to cough the atmosphere away “ ok yeah get it “
it wasn’t that you didn’t want to laugh you just couldnt your parents dug into you anytime you went home. Theyd have your head if you didn’t focus only on your studies so, it was hard for you to talk or even be around other people when it wasn’t for class it made you anxious and you weren’t sure how to interact
People took this as you being shy and you weren’t going to explain that you wanted to talk but just didn’t know how
He let his hand fall from your shoulder as the walk soon came to a close him leaving you to walk up to the stairs to your home
“ you may go “ you said softly as he shook his head with a big smile on his face
“ nope not until I know your in your house safely “
you nodded your head as you took a deep breath the door opening before your hand could meet the lock your fathers voice knocking you on your butt
“ who is this — who is he y/n “
“ I-I “
“ I heard more than your voice out here and came to the door “
“ were you waiting up for me “
“ yes you didn’t come home after school today “
“ oh I— there was a math meet i’m sorry “ your father looked away in disgust as you lied
“ your lying to me I called your school and they said you quit mathletes to be a manager of some volleyball club “
you gulped “ I um “
“ why would you do something stupid like that it can’t help you in the future — with your studies “
“ because I um — I like “
you shut yourself up just nodding your head as your father beat into you “ so dumb I thought I raised you correctly it doesn’t matter what you want to do or what’s fun you do what makes you smart and whats logical you do not hold feeli—“
“ I think their happy “ Aran smiled at the scene in front of him “ I think they enjoy being our manager very much “
“ and who told you to spea-“
“ my heart — it guides a person to make decisions ones like I just made — and ones that you made — you want the best for your daughter right “
you fathers actions faltered as Aran continued to press into him “ If you want the best than you have to realize y/n Is tired and she’s not used to friendly interaction — she’s very out of place and uncomfortable around people because she’s only used to school work“
he shook his head in concern “ is this what you want for your child — for your kid to only know how to talk about school and not have a moment where their not spending it thinking about math equations and growing overworked “
“ well I— “
“ on our volleyball team we work ourselves hard yes— but we’ve also become great friends through this hard work we’re happy doing what we do because our hearts led us to do it not our parents “
he looked to you and back to your father as he stood looking up from the bottom of the stairs “ so I ask that you let your child stay on the volleyball team since their heart brought them there to sign up for the job one tuesday afternoon at 3:30 in our gym during our second winning match of the season “
your dad nodded his head in shock as he whispered out an ok
Aran smiling and leaving after waving to you with a short see you tomorrow
Your dad holding the house door open for you as he walked over whispering out to you “ you better marry that boy “ he smiled as he moved through the house
“ he remembered every detail about when he first met you “

bnha characters as volleyball players (au headcanons)
i have never in my life played volleyball outside of gym class and the occasional beach jaunt, so this is all based off of what i learned from haikyuu LOL
anyways, this started as tags from this fanart by @syblatortue of deku, kacchan, kiri, sero, iida and shouto as vball players, and then it got away from me so if you wanna read 2.9k worth of headcanons about powerhouse athletics high school UA then go ahead and press “read more” :)
deku's the calculating setter like kenma and he fanboys over stats from the international to the national to the high school
kacchan used to make fun of him and look down on him bc he used to think too much on court to move properly, and as a kid kacchan used to think that it was spiking or bust so he always gave deku grief and bullied him over being slow and weak
in middle school kacchan was a starter since first year and eventually became the ace but deku was always second string setter
his athleticism was nothing to write home about but he was just good enough to make the bench
in their middle school tournament their starting setter got injured and deku had to step in to set for a match for the first time ever
powerhouse volleyball high school coach yagi toshinori is watching and he sees all the aborted plans in deku's setting choices
he sees the gutsy sets that miss and the one successful dump he did that threw everyone off-guard (even deku himself), and yagi remembers what it was like to be hungry for volleyball seeing the look in this kid's eyes and he recognizes the brain on him
their team loses there though bc the fact is that deku wasnt athletic enough to do it and kacchan is yelling and deku's crying
but yagi approaches deku (who freaks out bc all might is THE legendary vball player of their country, and the nation was SHOOK when after getting severely injured by a malicious spike in the wrong place he chose to coach high school vball, even if the school was a powerhouse school and also his alma mater lol)
but anyways deku babbles and fanboys even through his tears and says he got into UA but he's not sure he can make the vball team, and yagi says he sees the potential in deku's plays and if he trains hard every. single. day. from now until the tryouts at UA, he might make at least the bench
(cue montage)
kacchan is angry to see deku at tryouts and fuckn RAGING when deku more or less keeps up bc deku got buff since their last high school match
unfortunately for kacchan he is actually the one most familiar with deku's playing since they trained together in middle school too, and he almost pops a blood vessel just thinking it but ever since deku started actually being able to get to the ball in time, vball has been more fun ‘cuz the things deku ends up doing are fucking batshit crazy and his sets are begrudgingly his favourite to hit
deku sets right where kacchan can just hit the ball as violently as he can, and it sounds like a bomb goes off when the spike hits the ground
(kacchan also obviously has the best serves and he mixes it up with the power ones like his ap shots, or floaters when he's strategic; he knows how to read the opposing team and either wait or serve really fast and serves up high to blind them like his flashbomb explosions, and he’s really arrogant about his serves but at least he can back it up as per classic kacchan)
anyways they become a really intimidating duo, apart but especially together, because despite the way deku still occasionally cowers from kacchan’s rage and kacchan is often yelling and antagonizing deku, they can read each other really smoothly on court and they match each other really easily, and they both go for the really gutsy shit no one else would think to try (like samu and tsumu going for the freak quick with samu setting kind of gutsy)
kacchan is also antagonizing af and calls the other team extras lol
but yeah, those two along with renown olympic vball player todoroki enji's son shouto are the three most intimidating first years at UA
enji has a very aggressive playing style and where he targets people on the opposing team specifically to make them sweat, makes them feel like he’s hot on their heels even from the other side of the net, always glaring, always strong
shouto hates it and hates the way his dad made him train day in and day out just because he had a good reaction time and instincts for the ball when he was young
fuyumi and natsuo were slow as kids and got immediately dismissed bc of it bc to enji if they werent athletic enough for the ideal vball playing style as children then theyd never be athletic enough to beat all might’s vball career and metrics in the future
touya was fast enough but he overtrained and strained his knees and then continued straining them to play anyways till they were permanently damaged, and by the time he graduated middle school, his doctor put him on orders to never ever ever do anything that might be overly strenuous for his knees ever again
anyways, shouto plays very cool and detached, like even when he spikes the ball right into your face you’ll feel like he wasn’t looking; he’s a middle blocker like suna, stays calm but uses his whole body
deku eventually convinces him that playing with fire every once in a while, especially when he spikes, can be a good thing because at the end of the day, his dad may have taught him the tricks but it’s shouto himself who’s playing, and so it’s not his dad’s style, it’s his own
also the spikes just aren’t as good or as psychologically effective if shouto’s not 100p IN it when he goes to spike one of deku’s demanding sets
and im gonna say shouto is ambidextrous but more comfortable with his left hand in this volleyball au because shouto’s left side is his fire side, and it’s more parallel to the character to make his more aggressive spiking hand his left one but still have him be able to use his left hand for spikes too (it’s also SO stressful for opponents bc angles)
also yes he does indeed only play with his right hand (his ice side) when he gets into UA, and is initially very hellbent on proving to his father that he can become a pro vball player without being as aggressive as enji on court and without using his more dominant hand, the hand that his dad’s been focusing on whenever they trained at home, the hand he’s spent hours and hours spiking and serving with since he was like five years old
one day deku notices shouto’s writing with his left hand and then connects the dots and sort of badgers him into spiking one of his sets with his left hand too and then yeah shouto tells him his life story and deku manages to emotionally coerce him into being okay with his left-handed spikes
(shouto also feels better about it when deku points out the left-handed angles thing)
so yeah that’s the big three scary first year starters: calculating and gutsy deku, who occasionally makes plays so gutsy he’s at risk of twisting one of his limbs in a very scary way (he’s always bruised in weird ass places from volleyball); raging, aggressive but also cunning kacchan, who is undoubtedly the loudest on any court he’s on, and ambidextrous hot and cold shouto, who does a pretty solid general defense with little holes but has scary aggressive spikes
btw shouto’s got a fanclub and they call him the volleyball prince
also at one point they totally play a practice match against shiketsu and UA loses bc inasa starts antagonizing shouto for being exactly like his father (inasa asked for enji’s autograph after a match once when he was a kid and got rudely blown off) and shouto gets offended and starts targeting inasa and then they get outplayed (it was a close match though ‘cuz both of them couldnt get their heads out of their asses and both their teams were suffering as a result)
alrighty, the other players in that fanart lmao!
kirishimaaaaa my dude my bro, super solid libero, always pumps up the team, and his defense is unbreakable! will receive even the scariest, most powerful spikes and smile cheerfully through it; will always insist that you’re manly for playing with everything you have and never letting fear get in the way of going for it
his middle school had a huge and scary substitute gym teacher who didn’t have mercy and spiked hard right to the faces of the students, and kiri really wanted to run forward to receive the spike and yell about how unfair this teacher was but he froze because the spike seemed unforgiving and if he received it wrong, what if his nose broke? what if he fell and broke something from the impact? mina didnt pause though and she received the spike and told off their substitute teacher and then reported it to their homeroom teacher and it was so manly of her, he promised himself he would never hesitate just bc of a scary spike again
btw mina’s all-around athletic and could probably make it onto the girls vball team but she’s probably on the UA dance team (UA is a powerhouse school for many sports, and theyre famous for their athletics department bc they often hire (former) pro-athletes to teach and coach)
iida comes from a family of sprint runners and he’s the one they trust for the most running; he’s their first year decoy and he’s fast af for such a big guy, and he often also provides extra block support from zooming left and right
also enjoys helping out the managers and corralling his team into being good students; he’d offer to tutor kirishima but kiri seems to have fun trying to be friends with bakugou lol; he makes it known that he’s there if kiri wants some extra patience to go along with his studies though
sero guess blocks so accurately people like to say that he’s got tape coming from his elbows, bringing the ball straight to his arms so that he can block; actually he’s pretty known for having weirdly accurate control bumping the ball back from places other than his hands (esp his elbows though), like he’s just so aware of his body, and he uses everything he can to keep the ball off the ground so he’s good at general defense
some other people i wanna mention:
aizawa’s their supervising teacher and the first year homeroom teacher (he gets to hear bakugou explode both first thing in the morning AND right at the end of the day, oh joy); all might just coaches ‘cuz he does other former pro stuff during class time, so he somehow ended up in charge of the volleyball club after the previous teacher stopped being able to
he never went pro but he’s a black belt mixed martial artist, and he still does those parent-child karate classes with hitoshi (who is now close to black belt and on the demo team, since they’ve been doing this since hitoshi was like five) and eri (who just got her yellow belt! aizawa is soft)
only hizashi, nemuri, oboro and his kids know this but he’s also REALLY good at doing aerial silk and he looks graceful af when he does it
hitoshi started kinda learning aerial silk when hizashi took him to a rock climbing place that had the silks on the ceiling (dont at me, there’s a place EXACTLY like this where i used to live lmao) and found out they offer classes there, and hizashi laughed and said “yknow your dad is pro at those right”
ochako is their first year manager, and when everyone is confused about kacchan continuing to call deku something so mean, she talks about how the nickname is cute and gives off the impression that he’s trying his best and when deku grins and blushes and seems to be happy with it, the whole team starts calling him deku with the same intentions and fondness behind it
every time other people hear UA calling their starting setter “deku” theyre so confused
nejire is the third year manager leaving and she does gymnastics and dance outside of school
mirio is the ace and his thing is that he is very strong and very precise, and he moves like he phases through the other players
tamaki is a middle blocker that can adapt all kinds of playing strategies pretty fast as long as he’s got time to digest them and decent food in his stomach—he’s a great decoy ‘cuz his spikes are hard and he’s pretty fast too, and while he prefers read blocking, there are a few times he guess blocks and it’s accurate af and kinda scary honestly
tamaki and mirio are also pretty fearsome ‘cuz people start off scared of mirio’s power spikes and serves (btw his goal is to spike a million service aces LOL), and then tamaki kind of surprises them ‘cuz he seems to be able to just? do everything??? (and theyre extra surprised bc no doubt he’ll be talking himself down and doubting himself before the match and the opponents will think like “oh good he’s mentally weak” and he kind of is but also holy shit??? we got blocked AGAIN???) and so they sort of only keep a peripheral eye on mirio while they start focusing on tamaki, and then all of a sudden mirio’s not where you thought he was and how’d he get there so fast and there other players in the way??? and then mirio spikes one in
this isn’t really related to anything else but you BET mirio can bend low and do insanely accurate bump receives from pretty close to the ground like! his thighs and knees are legend
we don’t really know any second year bnha students, but i’d like to think their starting team isn’t just first years, so i’d say like… hm or mb tamaki is starting setter (all the stuff about adapting and easily digesting strategies still applies, as well as his flexible skillset, it just now includes setting) and mirio is his ace, but all might puts deku in a lot more than you’d expect a bench player to be subbed in not only ‘cuz it shakes up the other team to see such a meek-looking kid do these gutsy-ass sets, but also bc it’s good for tamaki’s mental health that he feels like he’s got a really great setter right there supporting him as well, even though he knows (objectively) that he can hold the fort on his own
so yeah, id say tamaki and mirio for sure starters (mirio is captain), kirishima’s a starter (he’s always been really good, he just used to get a little scared off in matches sometimes, but since the thing with mina, he’s been really gunning for it, and also conveniently their last really good libero graduated the year before and they didn’t really have a good backup), shouto’s a starter (he’s lowkey mad about it bc it feels like he’s fulfilling his dad’s legacy and he doesnt want to be), and probably two second years, that feels fair
bakugou’s benched bc his temper’s still a little too unwieldy for the court (much to his dismay), sero’s still patching up holes in his defense, and deku could stand to watch other people’s playing styles, but u bet theyre all fearsome af when theyre on court: deku seems to be the only one that seems to be able to bring out shouto’s terrifying spikes for now; after their first qualifiers, rumours fly around the vball circuit about his angry pinch server that’s so mad he’s not a regular, he takes it all out on his serves and rip the team that has to try and receive them
well okay, so bakugou is the only that i can qualify as actually fearsome bc even when he’s being intimidating sero is a pretty chill dude, and deku looks too nice to really be scary so the opponents usually arent scared until he starts playing and then for them it’s just this internal monologue of “what the fuck? what the FUCK???”
and sero, while chill, is the type to be aggressively cheerful and grin really wide after he blocks and gives you, the opponent, really supportive feedback that sort of still offends you but in a way you cant refute because every word he said was nice and his demeanour was nice too and yet? you kinda wanna strangle him??? and then he laughs winsomely and blocks your next spike too (like, “awh i noticed you have a tendency to follow here when xyz happens, but better luck next time right? that’s usually a pretty good play”)
and of COURSE their school banner says “plus ultra”
ANYWAYS i went OFF lmao i can’t believe i really wrote 2.9k of headcanons for this
i have waaaay more ideas about what the rest of the class and other characters are up to in this au that is powerhouse athletics high school UA so if for some reason you got all the way to the end then thank you and please interact if you wanna talk more about it!!!

ng+ notes n doodles: champion radar
J: Radar is just as much of a hero as anyone else here, even if YOU don't appreciate his skills! A: Is that right! And what skills does he have, exactly? Hmm? Being pathetically naive and idealistic? Getting pushed around by his “friends”?
"the admin said that whoever gets to that clock first will prove that they're the greatest hero here, right? well, radar, i think that clock has your name on it"
everyone agrees to let him go for it bc they love radar and hate the admin and are excited for a chance to stick it to the edgelord
no one expects him to.. actually make radar his champion (or for that to have been the point of wonderland at all- he’d only presented it as a “test to (jesse feels rly guilty for this later on, bc had they known theyd be putting radar in danger they wouldve gone and gotten the clock themself)
as much as radar obviously hates it it’s also a chance for radar to unload nearly 2 decades’ worth of the pent-up righteous rage of a retail worker/unpaid intern and funnily enough, radar just going OFF on a like ten minute vicious rant at the admin is what makes him think “oh, maybe this loser that i took on just to spite jesse might actually have a spark in him that i can work with after all”
romeo sees his past self in him (while petra is more accurate to how he currently is/was just recently, radar is like the ghost of his early youth- desperate to prove himself, but too "nice" to do anything truly noteworthy, letting people unfairly use him just so he can feel wanted)
radar is actually taller than the admin so him being his champion is rly funny at first bc he's just abusing the ability to float to maintain height dominance (romeo is like. ~165cm while radar is like ~20cm taller)
eventually romeo successfully manages to convince radar of his worldview (which is another post) and when jesse finally meets back up with him, incredibly relieved that he seems fine (LOL spoke too soon), radar fights them willingly (with a little urging from the admin who is so proud that radar is severing his ties to the person who was keeping him stuck as an unremarkable doormat) (he doesn't intend to let him actually kill jesse tho, just prove that radar doesn't need/want them anymore)
"You were onto something with the vest and tie, but a sweater vest? A hoodie?! I can't have my champion being seen in that! How about we get you something with a bit more class to it, eh?"
sweater vest becomes actual vest
hoodie becomes tailcoat (think red onceler) (now stop thinking about the onceler oh god what have i done i cant stop thinking abo
hand that doesn't have gauntlet (the left) has a glove instead
the doodle up there is just a wip design tho hlkdghdlkfhgklhdf
Nothing is holding you back now No one can push you around (except me) What do you want to do? You're the master of you And isn't the thought enough to Lift you off of the ground
<turningpage> unlocked the achievement [There's Not A Star in Heaven That We Can't Reach]

I Was Lost Until I Found You. Part 1
Link to AO3: https://archiveofourown.org/works/22340749/chapters/53368603
Ok, so I fell in love with another ship. This baby of an OC, named Xander, is just a lovable dork that all my friends on discord loved seeing be with Damian. Then I thought about how cute theyd be with Mari n this happened. So I just had to write it. So I hope you enjoy seeing the three together yourselves. I had fun writing it!(next fic will just be Xander n Dami)
P.S. Xander and Damian are the same age, just Xander is a few months older than Damian. Mari is a year younger than them.
When Xander was 14, he discovered he had two soulmates. He learned it by finding something from his new, in a sense, soulmate. He knew it was from them cause it wasn’t something the other lost usually. His first soulmate usually lost pens, notes, and the like. Not that. Underneath his bed was a knife, and it wasn’t a kitchen knife.
It was a dagger.
Something used to hurt and kill.
That wasn’t something his, now known to be French, soulmate lost. Seeing the knife freaked him out. He lost it pretty quickly after that since he didn’t want to have to explain it to his sisters.
Right now though, he wished he had kept the dagger. In front of him was Joker in all his clown glory. Xander was worried, the clown was walking toward him and he knew that meant trouble. He couldn’t fight Joker himself, he was defenseless. He tripped going backward and Joker’s smile grew bigger. Xander looked around and found a Batarang, he was really glad that the Batfam lost one. He picked it up and threw it at Joker.
Joker grunted when it hit him in the stomach, but didn’t react in any other way. He pulled out some cards and Xander scrambled back. He could hear sirens in the distance getting closer, but he knew they would be too late. He was alone with Joker. He had no one to help him. He scrambled backwards, and stumbled up to his feet. Joker laughed as he prepared to throw his cards.
The police and batfamily arrived just in time to see Joker launch the cards. Xander raised a hand out to them.
They rushed forward.
But they could only watch as the cards flew towards him.
Only watch as Xander jerked as the cards hit. A chocked out shout left him. He was mid-stride when they hit. He fell to the ground as Joker laughed maniacally behind him. His vision was blurry. He could feel a card dig into his neck. He reached a hand out toward the bat family. To his sister with the officers.
“Xander!” Alya shouted and went forward but Nightwing stopped her. “Let me go! He needs me!” she shouted, tears going down her cheeks. She could only watch as Xander look at her before his hand and head drop back onto the ground, not a sound leaving him. “No! Xander, please!” she shouted and cried. The other members went forward to attack Joker while Nightwing stayed with her and hugged her, keeping her away from Joker.
“No!” everyone was confused at her shout. Joker was tied up, still smiling. They looked back and were shocked. Nightwing was looking around confused while Alya was on her knees sobbing, right where Xander was.
Was.
The only thing that remained was one of Joker’s cards. Xander’s body was nowhere to be found.

Damian Wayne knew he had two soulmates since he was with the League. He just wasn’t allowed to keep anything. When he moved in with Bruce, he got to keep the things he found. He got to keep the sparkly pens his french soulmate lost. He got to keep the mechanical pencils, little doodles, and little trinkets his other soulmate lost.
He felt his breath catch as he stepped into the dining room for breakfast. His family turned to him worried. They watched as he picked up a familiar teal sweatshirt. Damian turned it to look at the back and he swallowed the lump in his throat. The back was covered in blood and had holes in it. “I....I need air,” he said walking outside still holding the sweatshirt. He leaned against the railing, the sweatshirt laid across it next to his arm.
Alfred walked outside and placed a hand on his back. “I’m sorry you found out like this, Master Damian,” Alfred said and Damian nodded.
“Yeah. I just....how do I tell our other soulmate what happened?” he asked and Alfred hummed at that.
“I’m not sure, Master Damian. But, I can fix and wash this for you,” he said picking up the sweatshirt and Damian nodded.
“Thank you, Alfred,” Damian whispered and Alfred nodded.
“Of course. Why don’t you eat something? I’m sure your family will want you to be strong as you look for him,” Alfred replied in the doorway and Damian gave a nod, the barest of smirks on his face.
“Of course,” he replied.
~~~~~~~~~~~~(⋟﹏⋞)~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mari stared in horror as a bloody shirt appeared on her desk in class. Everyone was looking, equally scared and sympathetic. Even Lila, the girl that vowed to make her life hell, was sympathetic. Alya and Nino led Mari out of the room while Adrien took a plastic bag from the teacher and put the shirt in it. They then cleaned the desk so that when Mari came back calmer, she wouldn’t panic.
Mari was pale when they came back in. She barely restrained herself from shaking. Ms. Bustier nodded and Adrien grabbed their things along with the bag and took her home. Where a note then appeared on the table saying what happened, from her other soulmate.
~~~~~~~~~~~~(⋟﹏⋞)~~~~~~~~~~~~
After a year and a half since Xander disappeared, Damian found something that wasn’t from their french soulmate. But it was something that didn’t reassure him. He took a picture of it and lost it quickly, knowing what would happen if he didn’t. He also put on a note in french in case it went to their french soulmate. Once that was done he went to find his family. They were in the kitchen making a cake for Alfred’s birthday. He handed his phone with the picture pulled up already.
“Is that...?” Tim asked, trailing off and Damian nodded. “But how?” Damian glared at the ground.
“Xander lost it, that’s how. The League took him,” Damian said and a snap rang out. Jason dropped the broken spoon he was holding.
“I thought we were fucking done with them,” he growled out and Damian shook his head.
“Apparently not,” Damian said.
“Done with who?”
They turned and saw Jason’s soulmate, who also happens to be Xander’s sister, waiting in the doorway. She was holding a bag of cake decorating items. She set the bag onto the counter and pushed back her red bangs and looked at the phone Jason was holding. “What’s with the dagger?” they all shared a look.
“That was...lost by Xander. He was taken by....by mother,” Damian said slowly and watched as Lana leaned against the counter, her mouth opening and closing as what he said sunk in.
“Will...do you…” she tried asking a question but couldn’t get the right words out. She swallowed the lump in her throat and looked at Damian. “Do you think he’ll make it?” she finally asked as Jason set a hand on her shoulders.
“I’m not sure. We can only hope,” Damian said and Lana nodded at that.
~~~~~~~~~~~~(⋟﹏⋞)~~~~~~~~~~~~
Xander gripped his head with a groan and stumbled into a wall. There were shouts. French. Hands. Hands were over him. He knocked away all the hands that were touching him and slid to the ground. He blinked several times, clearing his vision, his hearing was buzzing, nothing truly making sense. But he slowly regained function in seeing and hearing.
“-he’s wearing strange clothing. Where’s he from?” a boy asked.
“He has weapons on him! He’s a mercenary!” a girl said fearfully.
“Hey! Stop it. We don’t know if he can understand us. Not to mention, he doesn’t seem aware of where he is either!” a girl said. He looked up and saw a petite french girl with blue-tinted hair standing in front of him. Her hands on her hips as she scolded the classroom.
“He’s a danger! Why would you protect someone like him, Marinette? Oh wait, I know why. You’re his soulmate!” a girl with sausage hair cried and people started glaring at the girl defending him. Marinette, the name fit her.
“Of course your soulmates with a dangerous person. It fits,” Alya spat glaring at her ex-friend.
“We don’t know anything about him, Lila, Alya. We shouldn’t assume anything. What if he’s a hunter? Or perhaps he uses those to defend himself from threats? Hmm? Who knows where he came from,” Marinette said.
“I don’t even know where I came from,” Xander replied back softly in french and the class looked at him shocked. Marinette kneeled beside him.
“What do you mean?” she asked.
“I....I was taken from my home, I think. Everythings...fuzzy. Bad people took me. I...I remember a name, Nanda Parbat. But I don’t...I don’t know what or where that is,” he said, his brow furrowed in confusion and frustration. People around the classroom looked sad at that. “Where am I? What’s the year?”
“You’re at Collège Françoise Dupont, in Paris, France. Your name is Xander, isn’t it?” she asked and Xander nodded slowly. “You...you disappeared two years ago. Two years ago today, your bloody shirt, this one to be exact,” she pointed to the shirt she was wearing, it was his, she fixed up the holes, “appeared before me. Our other soulmate found your sweatshirt,” she explained softly. The class looked shocked at that. To learn this teen, who appeared out of nowhere, wearing strange clothes and carried weapons, was the same teen that lost the bloody shirt. They watched his face fall as he learned that. It turned pained then turned to confusion. “What?” she asked softly.
“I-I don’t understand. I-I remember that day. I...I should be dead. Joker killed me. I know it,” he said and that had the class gasping.
“Ms. Bustier, can I take him to my grandfather? He’d be able to help,” Mari asked and Ms. Bustier nodded.
“I’ll help,” Adrien said gathering all their stuff and walking behind Mari as she helped Xander up and lead him out. They soon reached Master Fu’s place and entered. Fu looked at them confused as they brought in a confused teen.
“Master, he’s my soulmate. But,” she trailed off and he nodded.
“I feel it too. Come, sit down,” Fu said and Xander nodded and sat down in front of Fu. “I feel the twisted magic of the Lazarus Pit on you. You must have been revived using it. But it’s left a twisted and corrupt aura on you. We’re lucky it hasn’t messed with your mind much yet. We can heal you of this aura,” Fu explained and Xander nodded. Fu then had him lay down on a mat and began working. “Marinette, you need to become Ladybug to purify it,” Fu said and Marinette glanced at Tikki who nodded. She transformed and Adrien stood back with Plagg and Wayzz, watching them work.
Once they’re done, Xander is sitting again but is gripping his hair. Mari’s transformation drops and she pulls Xander to her. “What do you remember?” she asked and Xander gasps as tears fall.
“I hurt so many people. I’ve dont so many horrible things when I was with them,” he gasped out and Mari shushes him gently.
“It’s ok. You had no choice. We don’t blame you,” she whispered.
~~~~~~~~~~~~(ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧~~~~~~~~~~~~
For a month since Xander returned, he’s stayed with Mari and her family to heal. She told their other soulmate he was ok now. She was told that his sisters were grateful to know that. He went to class with Mari and Adrien and Chloe. But they soon learned he didn’t need it since he was ahead of them. He could technically be transferred into Luka’s class, but he didn’t want to. He’d rather stay in the same class as his soulmate. She helped him stay calm when he had panic attacks.
Which were sadly, pretty often. But that was because of Lila. She would lie about her soulmate and bring things up that Xander asked not to around him. But Lila didn’t care. And Ms. Bustier didn’t try stopping her even though she can see how Xander reacts.
But thankfully, with Xander’s help, they take Hawkmoth done at the end of the month. After that, Xander, Mari, and Adrien all moved to Gotham. Chloe would follow soon after. Everyone at the airport was tearing up at seeing Xander hug his sisters tightly, all three crying and falling to the ground. Most everyone in Gotham knew of how he disappeared.
After that, they took him to see, meet really, his other soulmate, Damian Wayne. They reached Wayne Manor and standing outside waiting, was the Wayne family. Mari led Xander over to Damian with a smile when the exited the car. “Xander, this is our other soulmate, Damian,” she said and Xander smiled.
“Hey,” he replied.
“I’m glad you’re safe. I was worried when I learned of where you were,” Damian said and he nodded at that. Mari pulled them into a hug. She could see Damian wanted to, but was hesitant. Damian wrapped his arms around the two and pulled them as close as possible.
Ok, so. This happened. This was cute. But man, damnit, I was tryin to do funny/cute all the way. But my friends got me in an angsty mood. But, I hope you liked it. The next chap WILL be an alternate of pure hilarity and cuteness between the three ok? Cause I was really wanting to do that with this type of soul bond. See ya soon! -Love Willa<3<3<3

Wow i had such a weird dream?? The story itself wasnt too unusual, just an emotional moment of an anime that doesnt exist, but the way the dream delivered it was really confusing!
The plot of this apparant anime was that there was some sort of ragtag group of monster people wandering the earth looking for a place they could belong without being hated. And i got the feeling here that they'd just found a place where things were going good, but the show's recurring villains appeared and revealed their secret to the town and now they had to flee again as everyone they thought was a friend took up pitchforks against them.
And the main focus character was really interesting? I dont think he was actually the protagonist but he got the focal role in this episode. Cos the monsters had to disguise themselves as humans to live in this town, and this was the youngest monster who didnt know how to do that yet. He had a really emotional struggle of pushing himself so hard to try and master this skill, because he was actually unique amoung the group for being a monster that was actually once human. So it was a combination of frustration at being a burden to his new friends, with desperation to finally see his own face in the mirror again.
And I feel like maybe before he became a monster he was bigoted against them and scared of them? Within the dream i recalled watching that other episode some other day, and apparantly it was super emotional. It started off just seeming like another 'we find the town of the day along our journey and meet some friends and/or solve a conflict' type thing. And this kid was mostly antagonistic through the episode, a dumb naive kid who believed everything negative about monsters and now struggled with the situation of being the only one who knew the truth that these guys are monsters but also now theyre doubting whether they should reveal it because these people seem so..normal?? And scared?? Starts to doubt whether all the other monsters executed by the corrupt church in their town were fully sentient too, and every time the 'nice' priest was teaching them how to spot liars he was really teaching them how to kill innocent monster people who were just as scared as the humans are of them. But the roots of gaslighting and abuse from this priest ran deep, so the kid struggled with the choice and ultimately made the wrong decision. Also i think maybe theres a reveal that the priest was actually their biological dad too, just for even more levels of why theyd make that wrong decision. And more reasons why its horrifying that the priest dad just treats his kid like shit once they outlived their usefulness. Im thinking something like the kid tries to make up for their mistake and save the protagonists but they get captured by their dad and like.. Ok holy fuck this dude is outright willing to murder his son and he's eminantly aware that these monster people are 100% sentiebt because he's using the threat of killing his son as a way to get them to lay down their weapons and agree to be recaptured. And then i think there was something super messed up when it was revealed all the monster attacks that happened to the town to get them so scared and paranoid were actually orchestrated by the priest as a form of control over his citizens. He had some sort of Ominous Doom Science to both turn people into monsters and control them to do his bidding. And like the predictable asshole he is, even after the protagonists gave up in order to save the kid he still killed him anyway. And after snapping his neck he threw him down into the prison cell with the protagonists and was like 'lets torment them by making them fight the kid they wanted to save'. Because it turned out he'd been doping the kid with a special dose of the monster formula ever since birth, and he was his 'secret weapon' all along without knowing it. Ultra super mega concentrated doom form of the artifical monsters he uses in his army, activated upon the moment of the kid's death. But then it turns out the ultimate experiment was too much for him to control and the kid was able to keep their mind in their new form, and turn against him to save their new friends. But when they realized what had happened to them, they broke down in fear. And everything was super depressing cos the protagonists knew this poor kid was now doomed to share their fate as monsters, and theyd have to take them away fron everythung theyd ever known in order to keep them safe. But also heartwarming at the same time because the kid had never known a truly loving family before, and as they passed out in the arms of main protagonist mom friend werewolf they felt like maybe this is what having a real family is like...
So anyway that led to a bit of an angsty team dynamic with this new recruit? The kid was obviously all new to monsterness and terrified of everything. But also even now they were struggling with that 'what if my abusive dad is right' instinct drilled into them from all those years. They still struggled with really believing that monsters arent evil, and like 'no i must have only disobeyed him because i was infected and i didnt know it, monsters are evil and i became one because i'm evil too'. Unwilling to believe that their dad did that to them and trying to find excuses where it would be their own fault. Maybe the kid was even tricked by another villain at some point who lied about having a cure? Like even whenthey became more able to trust their new monster friends they were still like 'theyd be happier if they became normal right?' Lots of angst and messing up and this poor kid feeling not only weak and useless to the team but also outright toxic to them.
So all of this led to this situation where disguising yourself as a human is a skill all the other team members already mastered and this kid is struggling real hard to accomplish it in order to save the day. Ans its extra depressing cos they havent seen their original human face in months, and theyre trying to cling onto the memories but scared they migjt forget what it was like to be human. And then i cant really recall all the details but i feel like the writing and cinematography were just super amazing emotional on this scene of the kid struggling to Do The Thing in time to save their friends, and like.. Atone for all their mistakes.
Also i think like the kid had this big super kaiju ultimate chimera form which was what their dad designed them to be, but also most of the time they were poofed into a tiny mascot sized version of that. And theycd never actually managed to control their powers enough to turn into their battle form willingly until now. Just this super depressing and also uplifting scene of this fuckin tiny monster kid being pinned to the ground underneath the villain's heel, trying desperately to turn human again to save their friends. And i think it was an awesome moment where they did manage to regain their old face for just a few seconds, but instead of actually learning to master the human transformation they learned to master their battle form instead. Like, accepting that that old face isnt who they are anymore, and it wont help like they thought it would. What they really need now is their REAL face! Some sort of dramatic badass speech about this that cuts the villain's philosophy right in half, and then a badass scene of tiny kid finally being able to control (and not be scared of!) their beast form, and fight the whole damn army singlehandedly to save their friends!
Also i think there was an extra emotional moment somewhere along the way where one of yhe villain generals was like 'no, stop, i want to see if they can do this', and actually started motivating the kid. Like i think they were a brainwashed soldier of the old priest bastatd who was sent to kill these monsters supposedly to avenge the priest's dead kid but they were actually starting to have doubts when this terrifying monster that 'killed them' seemed to act so much like a child. So this was the big moment of them finall believing the kid, and getting to see proof it really was them and the priest really was a manipulative evil bastard all along. So i think they switched sides and joined super powered up kiddo in fighting their fellow knights, giving them the keys to go free their friends. And possibly this knight person also joined the team after this and was the first proper human ally theyd ever had? And probably had loads of emotional plots of atoning
ANYWAY that was the cool really engaging story of my dream that i wish i could watch a real anime about!
But the weird part was that this was all delivered really fragmented cos of how little sleep ive had lately. I was seeing it in the form of (for some reason) laying down on the stairs at my abusive father's old house, listening to it playing on the tiny tv he had in his room. And you may have noticed i kept mixing up the kid's pronouns, thats because everyone in the dream was represented visually by a character from some other franchise and it was REALLY confusing! The kid was like an amalgamation of all the dudes from Wolf's Rain which i guess is where the concept of wandering monsters in human illusion came from. (Tho they werent all reverse werewolves like in that show) It was weird cos i knew this character was meant to be a child but they looked like five ripped teenagers smooshed together? Cos i havent seen that show in ages and couldnt even remember the protagonist's name. (Was someone called Hide or is that a guy from tokyo ghoul? I think they had the outfit of the tokyo ghoul guy.) And then predictably the evil priest dad was cornello from full metal alchemist mixed with my old doctor who had the same name. But less predictably the redeemed villain holy paladin knight guy was replica riku from kingdom hearts?? Ans specifically his medal from the app game, like he came with a floating medal attatched to his waist like a mermaid who was also a coffee table.
Also it just ended with a floating box of hair dye that turned to face the camera and it was actually coffee in a hair dye package. Like an exact replica of the blonding bleach i usually use, right down to every detail, but all the text was replaced with coffee info. I..i dont know what that has to do with anything else that just happened...
Oh also i think maybe one of the other teammates was a big cuddly 50-something circus ringleader type guy? He was the friendly comic relief but actually deep downn the most tormented of all of them. He'd been imprisoned as a circus attraction for most of his entire life and dressing up like a ringleader now he was free was kinda a way of coping? But yeh i think he bonded well with the kid cos they both didnt have much experience with being free and everything seemed new and scary. This guy also didnt have much experience of monster society either cos he'd been enslaved since he was a child. Man this anime sounds so fuckin intense and dark and emotional but also full of powerful friendship!! Why cant i watch any more episodes!! give me a sequel dream!!

The truck bounced and ambled its way down the dust-covered road, tossing its passengers gently from side to side like they were in a ship on a particularly stormy ocean. Cody’s stomach turned over, and he tore his gaze away from the window to look at John and Sailor, who shared the backseat with him.
“Are we sure about this?”
“No,” Sailor growled under her breath. She was hunched over in her seat, gently rubbing her leg where her knee joint met her new prosthetic. “It’s a bad plan. Not enough people, and not enough guns.”
“I thought that was kinda the point,” Nash said cheerfully, from the driver’s seat. “Y’all aren’t supposed to be attracting attention.”
“Nash, respectfully, you aren’t a part of this discussion unless you’re gonna be gettin’ out of the car to go with us,” Cody said, his voice flat.
He knew exactly what Nash’s orders were, unfortunately, and Nash wasn’t coming with him, John, and Sailor. According to what Marc had said that morning at brunch, Nash was coming along strictly as their getaway driver. If they didn’t come back to the rendezvous point within about an hour, Nash was allowed to head back to Texas Waters and leave the three of them high and dry. Cody, for one, had no doubt that he really would. Nash may have been affable enough, but at the end of the day, Marc was the one paying him for his services.
“Fair enough,” Nash said, with an easy shrug. “Your drop point’s comin’ up in a couple minutes, by the way.”
“Great,” Cody said through his teeth. John put a hand on his knee, gently, and he reached down to squeeze it. Having his own gesture returned muddled his thoughts about the whole interaction - he still wasn’t sure what he had been trying to communicate, back at breakfast. At least he could say for certain that John hadn’t minded. Cody refocused himself on the problem at hand, more agitated now than before. “I still don’t see why we have to split up.”
Their instructions were relatively straightforward, all things considered. Marc would be meeting with the heads of a local mob, in a town just across the Mexican border, under the pretense of making an alliance with them. Something about dividing up certain resources they each had access to for a mutual benefit. While the meeting was going on, John, Cody, and Sailor would be pulling off one of the double-crosses Marc was apparently notorious for - considering breakfast, that hadn’t been much of a surprise.
John, Cody, and Sailor were to steal the mob’s supply of water. The only catch was that the supply was kept in a compound located dead in the middle of a nest of muties. The mob didn’t have to spend the manpower guarding their most valuable resource if the muties kept people away for free, after all. All they had to do was guard one tunnel entrance. The mob members transported the water in barrels through a tunnel under the mesa, then raised it up on a lift. The barrels sat out in the open, the hundred-odd feral muties enough of a deterrent for any sane person.
The water heist, as Marc had devised it, was a two-pronged plan. Cody and Sailor would make their way up one side of the mesa, doing their best to go as quickly as possible while also disturbing as few muties as possible. At the same time, John would arrive at the guard station at the base of the mesa, dressed as one of the mob’s security men. While Cody and Sailor reached the compound from the top, John would take care of the guards patrolling the underground tunnel. If all went well, they’d meet as soon as Cody and Sailor took the lift down, then transport the barrels of water out through the tunnel to where Nash would be waiting in the truck.
It was a decent plan, in theory. But there were a lot of ways it could go wrong, and Cody hadn’t stopped thinking up more since they’d left Texas Waters. He was so nervous that he could practically feel the food he’d eaten at brunch rolling around in his stomach, threatening to come back up.
“You really want to fight your way back through a nest of pissed-off muties? I mean, be my guest, but…” Nash trailed off, perhaps remembering that Cody had just told him not to talk anymore. He punctuated it with another shrug.
“He’s right,” John murmured, almost as if it pained him to do so.
Cody frowned. “The last time we split up -”
“Was different,” John said, squeezing his hand back. “Not on purpose.”
“Still!”
“Cody,” John said firmly, then looked surprised when Cody’s attention snapped completely to him. He swallowed, Adam’s apple bobbing conspicuously in his throat, looking a little like a deer caught in headlights.
“Well?” Cody asked.
“...I’ll handle it,” John said at last, a little gruff, diverting his gaze towards the floor. Cody’s frown deepened.
“I know, but -”
“John has the easy job,” Sailor broke in, looking more than a little exasperated with the route the conversation had gone down. “All he has to do is clear the getaway path for us, and stay there to make sure no other goons show up.”
“I dunno about easy. Once he starts takin’ them down, someone’s gonna notice,” Cody said.
“Not if he’s careful,” Sailor said. “He’ll have enough time to be, with us sneakin’ our way up the whole fuckin’ mesa. I didn’t exactly think he was gonna run in guns blazing, and just start shooting people left and right.”
John snorted.
“Hey, he might have to, if his cover gets blown,” Nash pointed out.
“That’s fine,” John said, and then fell silent again, looking contemplative.
Cody watched him, thinking that, strangely, this was the most he’d heard John speak since before they’d arrived at Texas Waters that morning. He wondered how John was feeling, but he wasn’t about to ask a thing like that in front of Sailor and Nash. They’d have time to talk about it later, hopefully.
“Alright, here we are,” Nash said, pulling the truck off to the shoulder of the road. There wasn’t much there - the mesa loomed over them a couple of yards away, but for the most part, it was just scenic desert. Nothing to suggest a nest of muties nearby. “Hop on out, you two, and don’t forget your guns.”
Cody gave John’s hand a final squeeze before letting go of it, and opening the door to let himself and Sailor out of the truck. He hopped down to the ground, adjusting his poncho, and circling to the back of the truck for the rifles Marc had given to them, just in case. Cody had never fired a fancy rifle like the ones Marc’s guards used before, but he’d fired a shotgun, and he reckoned they worked about the same. He had his pistol holstered to his hip again, too, as a last resort.
“Be safe,” he told John through the window, slinging the rifle’s strap over his shoulder. “Don’t do anything stupid.”
John nodded. Nash revved the truck’s engine once, then peeled away onto the road, with apparently little regard for the dust the tires kicked up onto Cody and Sailor. Cody watched the truck disappear into the distance, until he couldn’t see John’s face looking for him from the window anymore.
“Ready to kill some muties?” he asked, turning to Sailor.
“I’m hoping we won’t have to,” she grumbled. She started to head for the mesa, her eyes scanning the horizon line for something. “There should be a footpath close to here that goes up to the top. It was on Marc’s map.”
“Right,” Cody said, following just a couple steps behind. He’d thought the map of the area that Marc had brought out while explaining the plan had been largely for dramatic purposes, but now he felt a little silly for not taking the time to study it seriously.
“What’s with you and Marc, anyway?” he asked. It couldn’t hurt to make conversation until they actually reached mutie territory, and he was curious, anyway. “I thought you were trying to catch him for the bounty. He acted like you come around for brunch all the time.”
“It’s complicated,” Sailor said, bluntly.
“Is it?”
“No,” she answered, after a moment of contemplation. They’d reached the beginning of the footpath, and she started up it, only pausing for a moment to make sure Cody was following her closely. “Not really. He thinks I’m hunting him because I like him.”
“And he likes you, obviously,” Cody said, filling in the gaps.
“Obviously,” Sailor said. “What was your first clue?”
Cody laughed - and then froze, the sound dying in his throat as he abruptly became aware of something moving in his peripheral vision. Sailor snapped her head up to look, and he did the same, already knowing what he’d find. His stomach twisted. There was a group of muties, at least five of them crouched on a ledge not five yards away. Their eyes were milky white with cataracts, and they were hunched over, with necks and arms that looked too long for their bodies. Some of them were chittering softly, Cody thought, unless it was the sounds of nearby animals. But he doubted that, somehow.
“They can’t see,” he murmured, barely moving his lips. If the muties were blind, maybe sneaking past them would be easier than Marc had thought.
Sailor frowned. She stooped to pick up a rock from the ground, slowly and deliberately. Cody wondered what she was doing for only a moment before she wound up and threw it, sending it sailing over the group of muties’ heads and clattering across the ground on the ledge they were on.
The muties reacted in less than a second. So abruptly it was startling, they sprang into motion, turning to lunge on the spot where the rock had landed. They were making low, guttural noises in their throats that sounded like a human imitation of a dog’s growl. Cody thought it might have been the worst noise he’d ever heard in his life.
“They can sure hear, though,” Sailor said, under her breath.
Cody bit the inside of his cheek, and nodded. Somehow, he got the feeling that this was going to be much worse than the last time he and John had split up.

I read a fic a long time ago where the characters somehow got cursed or something to have all the things that people said about them appear on their skin (like if someone called them 'cute' theyd have'cute' stamped on their hand or somewhere else. i was thinking about this somehow happening to ace and the wbp (or mas or the asl), like they eat a crazy grand line fruit, and for the most part its pretty innocuous and funny, except that ace has stuff like 'should have been drowned at birth' 1/2
on his face (basically a lot of bad things people said from when he was a kid doing that ‘what if gold roger had a son’ thing. Maybe he would try to cover up, since there would some pretty incriminating stuff on there? basically id just really like some hurt/comfort with ace and sabo/marco/wbp in this scenario. he is a sad boy (sorry this all long and confusing, you dont have to do it at all if you dont want) 2/2
Oh, I’ve read those too! There was a Kakashi one I loved, I think, and a real good Tony Stark one! It’s a fun concept.
Also I got, uh, a bit carried away. So, y’know, sorry in advance. (edit: now with prequel)
“I’m not sick,” Ace says stubbornly. “I’m a fire logia. I can’t get sick.” And then he sneezes, sharp and sudden.
“Bad timing, with that sickness you don’t have,” Thatch says. “We’ve still got two more days out here.”
“I know; don’t worry,” Ace says, scooting back from the fire. “I’ll just run hot for a while and be fine.”
“Does that work?” Haruta asks, leaning away from him and the heat he’s suddenly throwing.
“Dunno,” Ace answers. “I haven’t been sick since I ate my fruit. Honestly thought I was immune.”
He doesn’t look happy, and Thatch can see why. Being sick is always miserable, and worse if you’re not used to it. He knows he packed an extra blanket, though, because Marco denies his nesting tendencies and yet always ends up stealing everyone’s bedding. He digs it out and hands it over. Ace glances at him and he shrugs. “If you want it,” he offers, and sets it on the ground.
Ace reaches for it, then pauses to stare at his hand for a second. Thatch doesn’t get a chance to follow suit because suddenly the blanket is flipped open and wrapped around bare shoulders.
Thatch and Marco share a worried glance. Ace never uses blankets, and he doesn’t accept help that easily either. And Ace isn’t even using it like a blanket; he’s got it wrapped around his back and over his head like a makeshift cape.
“You sure you’re feeling all right?” Thatch ventures.
“I can’t be sick,” Ace says, but he’s just a lump of blanket now. “I can’t.”
“Because you’re fire?” Marco asks.
“I’m from East Blue,” Ace says like it’s an explanation, but it really isn’t.  It’s interesting, but as far as Thatch knows, there’s nothing about East Blue that makes its residents any hardier. The five of them exchange glances, but they must agree with him, because Haruta drawls out, “Yeah…?”
SThe lump of blanket twitches and hesitates but finally says, “I had the crawl.”
“The what now?” Vista asks. Thatch stops to think, but there’s actually not many on the crew from East Blue; it’s by far the most peaceful sea.
But Marco makes an oh kind of noise. “There’s a disease in East Blue,” he says, because of course he knows. “Childhood thing, like chicken pox or flower fever. It’s really bad but almost never fatal, yoi. It compromises the immune system for the rest of your life, though,” and there’s some worried looks until he adds, “not harmfully! But when you get sick, it comes back, yoi.”
“Oh!” Namur interrupts, “It’s the ink sickness!” Marco arches an eyebrow at him, and he nods. “I’ve seen it before in certain parts of Paradise. That’s out East Blue way; probably spread from the Grand Line somehow.”
That sounds likely, actually. It’s the kind of thing that makes only Grand Line levels of sense, after all, but Namur’s not done. “We were taught it was a curse that went wrong, back in my tribe. Some rich man in a castle said something rude, and he was cursed to wear other people’s words on his skin or something.”
Marco nods and takes the story back. “The Scrawl means that if Ace is sick, he’ll be covered in ink till he’s better, yoi. It’s all stuff people will have said about him to his face, isn’t it?”
Ace says nothing, but Namur nods. “Stuff said about you in your hearing that you believe,” he clarifies. “My niece had it as a kid. Always real proud when she gets sick because she says wearing complements is the best accessory.”
The blanket twitches again, and Thatch steps in. “We’re gonna respect Ace’s privacy,” he announces. “If he’s really sick and he gets all decorated up with complements, we’re not gonna try to read them, okay?”
He glances around, but everyone’s staring at him. “What?” he asks.
Marco shakes his head. “Didn’t expect that from you, is all,” he says, and Thatch puffs himself up.
“I’m very mindful of people’s privacy!” he says, and everyone laughs at him. Well, that’s not nice at all, but at least it broke the mood. “I am!”
“Sure you are,” Ace says, finally talking again. He’s got the blanket pulled back enough to show his face and it’s just as it always was. “You respect privacy, and I’m never hungry.”
Thatch clutches his chest and falls over with his other wrist over his eyes. “Betrayed!” he gasps, because if keeping eyes on him is what’s getting Ace to calm down, he will gladly flop around overdramatically for the rest of the night.
And it works, because as they chat and pick at Thatch, Ace’s makeshift hood comes down. He falls asleep well before the rest of them, and whether it’s a narcolepsy attack or just exhaustion, no one says anything when Marco leans over to tug the blanket into place, covering all his skin.
Thatch blinks himself awake in the morning light. Right, they’re outside, coming back from that thing–right. He yawns and sits up; he’s never been slow to rise. Years as head chef on a pirate ship mean he’s generally up first.
Sure enough, everyone else is asleep. It’s false dawn, so it’s to be expected. He gets up anyway, stretching and looking around.
The fire’s gone out; someone must’ve banked it last night. He goes over to check on Ace, but the kid is curled into as small a ball as possible. The blanket’s ridden up over his feet, though, and Thatch can see jagged black streaks even from here. He steps forward, intending to tug the blanket down, but he can’t get close; the air around Ace is painfully hot.
Well, Marco can do it when he wakes up, Thatch decides. He’s got some time to kill, anyway; may as well take a walk. He might find a good place to watch the sunrise from; that’d be nice.
Well, he doesn’t see the sunrise, but he does find a tree with a bunch of those lovely purple fruits they had back in town. He picks enough to hand around for breakfast and a few more to take back to Pops.
By the time he gets back, everyone’s awake and up. “Good morning!” he says, and starts throwing fruits at people.
Haruta catches the first one in the face, but everyone else manages to grab theirs out of the air. Namur tosses his right back, and Thatch catches it easily and passes it on to Marco to give to Ace.
He drops the rest on his blanket and rolls them up carefully to take back. When he makes room in his sack, though, his fingers come across a marker that’s always at the bottom of his pack, and he takes it out before packing the fruit in.
He walks it through his fingers as he wanders over to Marco, who’s standing above Ace. “How is he?”
Marco makes a face and together they stare down at the blanket-covered kid. “You gotta get up eventually,” Thatch tells him.
The unhappy grumbling and shifting says that Ace does not agree, and the heat he’s putting out is enough to stop Thatch from trying to, uh, help. “Look, we’ll all turn away or something, okay? You can keep the blanket.”
Ace doesn’t move, and Thatch gives up. “You do it, Marco,” he says. “You’re the fireproof one.”
“I’m not fireproof.” Marco says even as he walks right into the heat haze like it’s nothing.
“Sure,” Haruta says, walking by, and Thatch catches their wrist. “Hey, what’re you–”
Thatch holds a finger over his lips and then wiggles the marker. Haruta’s eyes light up and they nod. “Yeah, can you–”
“Shhh!”
“We ready, yoi?” Marco walks purposefully between them, trailing what’s probably Ace. Hard to tell under the blanket cloak, but there’s one hand poking out to clutch it closed with a bold BRAT across the back of it.
Thatch darts his eyes away, feeling kind of bad. He hadn’t meant to read it, really, but it’s hard not to. He lets Ace and Marco go first, shouldering his pack and falling in step with Haruta.
There’s more black peeking out of the top of Ace’s boots where the blanket doesn’t quite cover, and Thatch keeps his gaze anywhere else. It’s an awkward kind of quiet, much different from yesterday’s bawdy jokes and loud off-key marching songs. Now the only sounds are the nature around them and occasional violent sneezes.
Haruta tugs at his sleeve, and they pass the marker back and forth for awhile. Thatch waves it behind them and Vista reaches out to take it, too. He promptly tries to use it on Namur, and there’s a quick scuffle.
It’s loud enough for Marco to turn around, though. He walks backwards for a few steps, looking them all over. “Everything okay, yoi?”
“Just fine,” Haruta lies breezily.
Marco stares at them for a few steps, so Thatch makes a spinny-finger gesture at him. He huffs but complies, and leans in a bit to mutter something to the Ace-like thing shambling along beside him. It’s probably about how dumb they are, but that’s okay.
“How does he do it?” Vista asks. “I can feel the heat from all the way back here.”
Ace sneezes again and said heat flares, and everyone but Marco flinches and falls back a few steps. “Marco likes fire,” Thatch says, hoping he’s right. “He doesn’t mind. Probably feels right at home.”
“Any hotter and he’s gonna combust,” Haruta mutters, and like their words were a trigger, Ace sneezes once again, the heat flares,  and the blanket on his back catches fire.
They all jump and Vista says something exceptionally nasty. Marco moves in, hands hovering uselessly, and Ace whips the blanket off to beat out the flame.
Thatch wasn’t expecting it, really, which is why he doesn’t look away in time–that’s totally why. It’s not his fault, he knows, and yet when his eyes catch on the giant letters across the back of Ace’s shoulders, above his tattoo, he still feels like he’s betraying something.
He feels that for the whole time it takes to unconsciously read and process the word “monster,” and then he just goes still. Ace is turned away, stomping out the flames, and they all know at a glance what exactly it was that Ace hadn’t wanted them to see.
His tattoo stands out as much as ever, but it’s framed now. Monster at the top, all the way across both shoulders, and underneath in a beautiful scrollwork there’s should’ve been drowned at birth.
Thank god you don’t exist crawls down his ribs, and there’s one word sentiments scattered around, all stark and pretty in concept and horrifying in meaning. Thatch, for all his good intentions, can’t bring himself to look away and his ears are full of the echo of Namur’s voice saying, stuff said about you in your hearing that you believe.
“Ace,” Marco says, quiet and hurt, and Ace’s shoulders go rigid under that horrible ink. He turns slowly to face them, smouldering blanket in one fist. There’s defiance in his eyes and mistake across his freckles.
Someone next to Thatch makes a wheezing sound, but he doesn’t look to see who because when Ace turns his head and tilts his chin up in anger, they can all read should do the world a favor and die circling his throat.
He’s a tapestry of horror and cruelty, and it’s all on display. Thatch’s eyes wander and the only remotely positive things he finds are the two brothers, curved dense and close over his heart, and captain curled over one wrist.
And then Ace falters. “What…?” he says, staring at Haruta, and Thatch glances over to where he’d written family across their forehead. He winces now, but it had seemed like such a good idea at the time.
In the face of this, though, their marker attempts look stupid and insulting. “Sorry,” Thatch says, and holds out the marker. “I had it and it seemed like–I’m sorry, I didn’t know….”
Ace blinks at them. “Why would you…?” he asks, confusion plain, and that hurts almost more than the words do. Things you believe, Thatch thinks again, and he’s suddenly angry.
“Because we’re your family, Ace!” he says. “And you were sick and scared of–and we wanted to make it even! And I never had the Scrawl but I do have a marker, and if you don’t believe us enough to get our words on your skin, then cut back the damn heat and I’ll put ‘em there myself!”
Ace’s chin comes down a bit; he’s defensive but actually listening. “It doesn’t…that’s not how it works.”
“Bullshit,” Marco snaps, and Thatch tosses him the marker. He uncaps it and steps in, ignoring Ace’s flinch. “If what’s true is on your skin, yoi, then what’s on your skin is true.” And he writes family, big and bold, under his left collarbone and right over you’re a curse.
“Loved,” Thatch lists, and Ace flinches again but stays still while Marco grabs his arm to write that over print small enough that Thatch can’t read it from here.
“Cute,” Haruta adds, and Ace goes a deeper red than a fever would account for. Marco nods and puts it right under the double brother.
“Hey now,” he says, trying to pull away, but Marco’s not having it. “Hey!” he says again, but he’s not struggling, and when Marco pulls at his shoulder to spin him around, he goes.
His shoulders are tense and high when Marco puts marker to skin, but as Whitebeard goes over monster, he relaxes a bit. “This really isn’t–”
Marco draws a long line through the awful sentence below his tattoo, and then does a few more just to black it out completely. He sets to work crossing out things and writing better ones, and Ace stands there, still holding the blanket, and lets him.
And then Vista shakes himself and says, “Give him a tramp stamp.”
“What?!”
“Oh, yes, do!” Haruta adds. “Make it say ‘pretty’!”
“No!” Ace says, stepping forward and turning. “No, that’s not–we’re done…!” He’s still surrounded by a heat haze that makes it impossible to approach, but Marco steps forward anyway.
“Come back here, yoi,” he says, and Ace tries to flee.
He makes it a few steps before Marco tackles him and sits on his legs. He puts the marker to work again as Ace claws at the ground and yells about how pretty he isn’t, and he only stops to sneeze three times.
“When you’re not too hot to approach, you can return the favor,” Namur points out, and when Ace immediately goes quiet he adds, “but it was Thatch’s idea!”
“Was not!” Thatch squawks, turning on him. “Haruta drew first!”
“You gave me the marker!”
“You used it!”
And it’s the dumbest argument Thatch has had in a long time, because yeah, he’s obviously at fault. He’s got idiot on one forearm and brother on his wrist and all right at cooking, I guess, on the back of his neck in permanent marker, but up ahead, Ace is laughing, and that’s more than worth it.

My dream gave me some really incredible visuals that i wish i could take a photo of and just. Transfer straight to real life. Like gosh. I walked down a beach towards a city out submerged in the ocean, and got on this huge ferry on the ocean that went through this city. Distant skyscrapers were hazy because of fog and the night and the layers of the buildings and the highlight of the moon was really breathtaking. Or at least i thought it was.
Another part of my dream was smthn abt driving and i was like careening all over the world in an old black van my mom used to own but thats not important. I have anxiety dreams abt driving all the dang time.
The rest of my dream was different tho but still rly Cool. I was izuku, and i cant remember what exactly had started the fight but there was this huuuuge fight between heroes and villains goin on, with someone who had betrayed us, and the villains were tryn to kill all might again. And so to insure theyd kill him they brought with them this man with a plague doctor-esque bird mask who could steal the life of people if he touched them on the face, and he called himself the Plague. And they also brought a girl who could predict under which constellation youd die. Not an exact prediction but it was enough.
And we werr all fighting in. A forest? I think? At night. There was snow on the ground and steep hills and at some point a villain tossed me and i went just. Over a hill and landed on my head and back and skidded down it through the snow. And i remember the villains were getting worried bc for some reason the girl couldnt predict when all might would die, but then she suddenly was close to me, and predicted the constellation that was over us at that very moment for me. And someone screamed and someone shoved something into me and i cant. Remember. What happened next.

Walking The Wire (117/155)
Summary: Tony Stark always knew about Peter Parker. He didn’t know that Peter was going to get superpowers and become Spider-Man, but he always knew about Peter because Peter was his son.
This will span from pre-Iron Man up through the rest of the MCU (eventually including Infinity War) and will be for the most part canon compliant except where I’ve taken some liberties and interpreted canon a certain way.
Pairings: Pepper/Tony, Tony/Steve (endgame), Tony/Mary (past)
A/N: If you want me to tag you when I post new chapters let me know. This fic is also on AO3
I used Collider’s MCU timeline to stay canon and the title of this fic is an Imagine Dragons song that is just so fitting for Peter and Tony

Chapter One Hundred Sixteen
Strange was on the ground but he was awake and Peter stood a few feet away, the iron legs gone back into the suit and his mask pulled back. The cape flew away from Peter where Peter had been greeting it to Strange as Tony approached and let the nanotech in the suit pull back entirely as he walked towards them.
“We’ve got to turn this ship around,” Strange said.
It was Tony’s first instinct too. Figure out how to turn the ship around and go back home. It was sort of his main instinct because Peter was on the ship. The only thing was that he didn’t know if they could or if it was the right thing to do. Maybe there was something to the idea of catching Thanos unaware because the last thing that he was probably expecting was for them to show up wherever the ship was headed. After all, they were already headed to space so maybe they just needed to stick with that trajectory since Strange had gotten them into this situation in the first place by not leaving when he could have.
“Stark, we have to turn the ship around.”
“Yeah. Now he wants to run. Great plan,” Tony muttered.
“No,” Strange grounded out. “I want to protect the stone.”
Tony really just -- he hated how arrogant Strange was even after Tony had gone to the trouble of saving his life. He headed towards what looked to be the controls of the ship.
“And I want you to thank me. Go ahead. I’m listening,” Tony added as he walked away.
“For what? Nearly blasting me into space?” Strange asked as if he hadn’t been surrounded by needles just a few minutes earlier.
It was as if he wasn’t taking into consideration at all that Tony and Peter had had to leave Earth to save him because he and the Time Stone around his neck had gotten captured and taken onto an alien ship.
“Who just saved your magical ass?” Tony asked and he turned because he knew that Strange had walked after him. “Me.”
“I seriously don’t know how you fit your head into that helmet,” Strange said and Tony thought that he must have said it solely to irritate him. He really couldn’t stand this man.
If Strange had only listened to Tony while they were on Earth when Tony told him to leave it was possible that they wouldn’t be in the situation they were finding themselves in now on some alien ship in space headed to -- well, Tony had no idea where they were headed.
“Admit it,” Tony said. “You should have ducked out when I told you to. I tried to bench you. You refused.”
Dr. Strange scoffed and it was clear that he was too arrogant and too determined to disagree with Tony and at least bickering with him took his mind off of worrying about Peter and the outcome of the situation they were in. From the looks of it it the ship was on some sort of autopilot. Tony had no way of knowing where it was headed but there was certainly a destination.
“Unlike everyone else in your life,” Strange said, “I don’t work for you.”
“And due to that fact, we’re now in a flying donut billions of miles away from Earth with no backup.” That was the part that really rankled Tony if he was honest. He had no way to contact the team -- to let them know what was going on or that they were okay. No way to figure out a plan together and really decide what their best choice would be. They were on their own. He and Peter were on their own with Strange.
“I’m backup,” Peter spoke up from behind Strange.
Tony didn’t want to be angry with Peter. He didn’t want to be upset at him for staying on the ship when Tony had been sending home and yet it was there under the surface because Tony had to think about the universe as a whole and his mind just kept going back to protecting his kid because to him that was the most important thing and yet -- Peter’s well being couldn’t be the priority. Not this time.
“No,” Tony said, addressing Peter, “you’re a stowaway.” And for good measure he pointed at himself and Strange. “The adults are talking.”
Peter’s shoulders dropped a little and he looked like he was ready to argue back, but he seemed to rethink it.
“I’m sorry,” Strange said. He was looking between him and Peter with some interest. “So, I’m a bit confused as to the relationship here. What is he? Your ward?”
“No,” Peter said. “I’m Peter, by the way.”
“I’m surprised you don’t already know,” Tony said. “After all, everyone knows I have a son.”
Granted, most people didn’t know that his son was Peter and that his son was Spider-Man, but Strange wouldn’t care one way or another.
Strange grunted. “I don’t actually follow your media coverage, Stark,” he said. “So this is your son, then?” Strange looked Peter over, seemingly taking the moment to really look at him before he let out a breath. “I’m Doctor Strange,” he said directing it at Peter.
Tony busied himself looking at the controls of the ship, trying to figure out how they worked and what they might need to do to get control of the ship and maybe get it off of autopilot too.
“Oh,” Peter said, “we’re using our made-up names. Um, I’m Spider-Man, then.”
Tony tried not to laugh. He wasn’t sure if Peter had said it because he was serious or because he was getting some amusement out of confusing Strange.
“The ship is self-correcting its course,” Tony informed them. “It’s on autopilot.”
Tony still wasn’t sure if they should head back home. The father in him said yes -- that it was the best thing to do. It would mean being back somewhere familiar where they could figure out what to do with the Time Stone. It would also mean having Peter back on Earth and having the option of trying to keep Peter out of trouble. But he couldn’t make that decision based solely on what was best for Peter. He couldn’t be a dad -- he couldn’t be Tony Stark about it. He had to be Iron Man -- he had to be an Avenger.
“Can we control it? Fly us home?” Strange asked.
Tony didn’t answer. What were the better odds? Thanos would come for the stone no matter where they were and with him destruction and death.
“Stark?”
“Yeah?”
“Can you get us home?” Oh, but he wanted to. He wanted to badly.
“I heard you,” Tony said. “I’m -- I’m thinking -- well...I’m not so sure we should go back.”
Tony knew that as soon as he said it that Strange didn’t agree and that he didn’t understand what Tony meant by it.
“Under no circumstance can we bring the Time Stone to Thanos,” Strange said. “I don’t think you quite understand what’s at stake here.” He got in Tony’s face, anger and fear so obvious in the way he stared at Tony and it was so demeaning and pushy and of course Tony understood. He understood better than anyone.
“No, it’s you who doesn’t understand,” Tony shot back. “Thanos has been inside my head for six years! Since he sent an army to New York and now he’s back and I don’t know what to do. So, I’m not so sure if it’s a better plan to fight him on our turf or his, but you saw what they did. What he can do. At least on his turf, he’s not expecting it. So, I say we take the fight to him.”
He had decided. He was sure it was the right thing to do. The only thing to do. Tony stared at Strange and at least the man was smart enough to take Tony’s words and think on them and not just shove them aside like everything else Tony had said.
“Doctor, do you concur?”
Strange took a moment and then there was a slight nod even though Tony could tell that Strange wasn’t entirely sure. “Alright, Stark. We go to him.”
Was it a good plan? Tony wasn’t sure -- it just seemed like the thing to do. Because if they could turn the ship around -- assuming they could even manage that -- it wouldn’t exactly lead them away from the fight. Tony started to turn away from Strange, but Strange stopped him and he looked almost apologetic in the way he stared at Tony. He glanced back towards Peter once before speaking.
“You have to understand,” Strange said, “if it comes to saving you or your son or the Time Stone -- I will not hesitate to let either of you die. The fate of the universe depends on it.”
Peter let out a gasp. Small and almost silent. Tony tried not to react with anger.
“Good,” Tony said. “Nice moral compass you got there.”
Strange looked away and Tony stepped back too and then he looked towards Peter. Too loyal and too wonderful Peter who should have been back on Earth safe and sound. Tony would have felt so much better about this decision if Peter wasn’t there. He hated the idea of bringing Peter along to this fight -- to face a threat worse than any they’d ever faced before. Peter had moved over, closer to the controls which he looked at with curious interest.
Tony dropped a hand to Peter’s shoulder and Peter just moved into a hug almost instantly as if it were instinct to him and Tony didn’t mind it at all. Peter’s arms wrapped around Tony’s middle and he was warm and breathing and alive and Tony could hear his heartbeat and it was enough. Tony pressed a kiss to Peter’s head and he closed his eyes and let himself imagine that they weren’t on an alien ship and instead back home and none of it was true.
“Love you, kid,” Tony said.
“I’m sorry I didn’t listen,” Peter whispered.
“I know.” And he did. He could tell that Peter felt sorry -- he maybe didn’t regret his actions completely, but he hated disappointing Tony. “It’s -- I don’t know if I’d say it’s okay but there’s nothing to be done now.”
“I know,” Peter said.
When Tony looked up he found that Strange was watching them.

i jus realized i can draw and therefore i should draw the 2018 turtles with who theyd main in ovw...
this is long because lol. special interest so under readmore it goes
[[MORE]]
i think donnie would play sombra/dva/sigma/moira. him and leo get potg every time they combo emp and blade and hes an absolute nuisance on the enemy team because he can keep perfect track of his cooldowns, placement of hacked healthpacks and vulnerable supports out of position. hes the type of sombra who seems to have an ult ready for almost every teamfight and is always there for that well-placed shield/support/enemy ult hack
with dva his damage output and positioning is decent, his strongest suit is using the physics of the dva bomb to get surprise 5k's by shooting it up some wall nobody else has ever even considered before. absolute 90000 IQ strats. he also has a really good grasp on enemy ults, and takes sadistic pleasure in eating ALL the gravs, dragons, high noons etc
sigma is something he flexes on when the team desperately needs double shield or it makes otherwise strategic sense to switch. hes pretty good on him and gets epic trickshots around the corners and hits the stun rock on flying pharahs like nbd but probably not potg/mvp material by himself
unfortunately he really rarely heals and leans on the damage moira side of things when he does lol he plays moira in arcade maybe. its a shame because he has the eye for well-placed heal n dmg balls that get their full value used
mikey mains mostly lucio/baptiste/tracer/junkrat/wrecking ball... hes all about those boops, those jumps, those tricky fast-paced maneuvers that finish off and disrupt the enemy team. he easily gets a card for environmentals on lucio, switches between boost and heal like a pro and zips up the walls wallriding like the floor's lava. he might not always get golden healing because hes often doing his thing as a lucio or zooming off to help a friendly flanker in trouble, and MAYBE hes been headshot a few too many times trying to soundbarrier off a high ledge 'like a boss', but hes a definite asset to his team. not much to say about his baptiste, thats his flex when lucio doesnt work and the team needs a main healer. he knows the maps really well so he often easily accesses high ground and his survivability on baptiste is nigh status:unkillable.
he has almost as many hours on tracer as he does on lucio. while tracer has no upwards mobility, her fast-paced, zipping around type of gameplay works perfectly with mikey's energy. he one-clips enemy suppports and uses their tanks for fast ult charge, and listens to the comms for a callout to peel for friendly supports. pulse bombs are a bit of a hit-or-miss with him, but thanks to his active playstyle, he gets them often enough that it doesnt Really matter that much. with junk.. he never stays with the team, using the mines to access high ground and drop on the enemy team (if hes not dropping a fat tire on them yet). his cooldown management isnt as good on junk as it is on tracer because his mobility skill also doubles as damage and he doesnt always remember to leave one as an escape ability, but his high maneuvaribility and absolute madman strats with the riptire make him a decently strong player. he also doesnt mind dying on the enemy bastion their team has been struggling to kill for 3:30 minutes now lol. so.. he probably brings more value to the team as a lucio than any dps but hes still a great player and flexes on near the same level.
wrecking ball.. not much to say. hes The boop and piledrive master and his and donnie's gravitic flux + minefield combo brings home potg more often than not.
leo is a genji main 😔😔... he sometimes flexes to rein and when he does they win games bc when he really gets in that main tank mindset, hes got amazing gamesense.. but he needs those 6k nanoblades for his sick frag montages so that rarely happens. when on genji, he talks a bit too much in comms, sometimes giving information that isnt necessary or otherwise making noise that doesnt really benefit the team, but his charm and confidence are usually what brings people back from tilt city.
raph, the absolute unit, mains roadhog and orisa/winston but he also pops off on doomfist. before role queue became a thing he always flexed between support and tank so he has a really good grasp on mercy and brigitte as well. hes an all-around consistent player no matter what role he's filling; he knows his character's purpose and does his best to fulfill it.
his weakness is having a bit worse gamesense than donnie or leo, but he makes up for it with his game-altering, genuine want to help out his team and his inspiring comms that rally up fighting spirits when the first round's lost but they can still tie/win.
