You were very angry with your best friend.
Carol Danvers made you drive three hours to her university and her dorm, only to leave you locked out.
You were calling for the ninth or tenth time when the phone went to voicemail again and you resisted the urge to throw the phone away and left a new message.
"Carol, if you haven't had an accident, I'm going to strangle you when you get here." You grumbled against the device. "I'm at your dorm door, where the hell are you?"
You waited for another fifteen minutes before a redheaded girl approached you, clearly wanting to open the door.
"Can I help you?" She asked curiously, you let out a sigh.
"You must be Natasha, Carol told me about you." You say and the girl confirms with a nod. "I'm her friend from NYU, she just stood me up."
The girl laughed lightly as she unlocked the door.
"No, she's just drunk in the building next door." She told you and you frowned. "Steve Rogers is having a party in the boys' dorm, and the last time I saw her, she was dancing on the table."
Natasha came into the room, beckoning you to follow her. She threw the bag she was carrying on the bed, and you threw your backpack on the bed that was supposed to be Carol's.
"I'm going to kill her." You grumble angrily, and Nat laughs.
"Please don't do that, nice roommates are hard to find." She jokes, sitting down on the bed. You laugh, taking one last look at your cell phone.
"Are you going to stick around?" You ask and the girl looks at you with a raised eyebrow.  "Carol had told me that you were going to sleep with your boyfriend or something, so the bed would be free." You clarify with flushed cheeks.
Nat bites her lips, slightly thoughtful.
"It's that option off." She comments. "We broke up tonight so."
"Damn, I'm sorry."
"It's okay." She assures with a smile. "He was kind of a jerk. And I do prefer chicks anyway."
You nod, not really knowing what to say. Nat looks at you with squinted eyes.
"Are you into girls?" She asks suddenly and you feel your cheeks heat up.
"S-sure." You reply. "But I'm not interested in you." You say and she raises her eyebrows in surprise, and you hasten to add. "No, sorry. Damn it is... I didn't mean it like that... I.... You're pretty and all but.... I don't... " You start to ramble on and she crosses her arms, looking at you with an amused smile on her lips. You take a deep breath before responding more firmly. "I meant that I'm already dating someone."
Nat laughs.
"I don't see a ring."
You blush looking at your hands at the same moment, and then looking at her.
"I..."
"I'm just messing with you." She says next, and you sigh with relief. But then she has a mischievous expression next. "But if you want my advice, I would put on a ring. A pretty girl like you sometimes needs a chain."
You swallowed dryly, looking away quickly. And then the door opened, and your best friend stumbled drunkenly inside, and she was not alone.
"Wow, I didn't know there were people here" Complains a very pretty black girl holding your friend by the waist and slightly startled when she notices you. Carol had her back turned and blinked in surprise when she turned around, clearly drunk. You crossed your arms.
"Hey, I know you!" She laughingly commented pointing her finger at you. You rolled your eyes, not being able to stay mad at her like that. It was funny.
"Ah, I have one of those faces you know." You commented with a smile. "Or maybe it's the fucking picture of us on your headboard."
Carol looked at you for a second and then let out a surprised exclamation, throwing her arms around you.
"I can't believe you're here! I've missed you so much!" she exclaimed happily hugging you and you rolled your eyes, laughing at her inebriated state. You held out your hand to greet the other girl as Carol stood over you.
"You must be Maria, right?" you asked and she confirmed with a nod, half embarrassed. "I was hoping to meet you over coffee, but I guess this will do."
Maria laughs lightly, she too looks drunk.
You sigh impatiently as you take Carol's arms off of you.
"We'll have a talk about commitment when you're sober, my sweet friend." You say to the blonde, who just smiles at you.
"Let's get something to drink while these two make out." Natasha comments getting up and pulling you by the hand.
//-//
You both end up in the dorm cafeteria, and you rub your forehead lightly, feeling tired.
"Is there somewhere for me to sleep, around here?" You ask Nat as you sit down at one of the tables. "I really don't want to drive to a motel."
Nat stands thoughtfully for a few seconds.
"You can sleep in Maria's bed, since she's sleeping with Carol." She suggests and you sigh, taking a sip of the drink you bought from the machine. The coffee was not good, and you grimaced.
"God, that's awful." You comment and Nat laughs.
"Yeah, nobody ever orders that."
"And why didn't you tell me?"
"Because I love to mess with the NYU kids."
You look at her in surprise, but then you laugh and Nat follows you.
"Fair enough." You grumble. The rivalry between the two colleges was not something unfamiliar to you.
"You might as well try Rogers' party." She starts with a suggestive smile. "Find a one-night stand, and get a bed to share."
You frown.
"I already told you I'm taken."
Nat laughs, taking a sip of her soda before speaking again.
"Yeah, and I'm not buying it."
You laugh, running your hands through your hair. Then you pull your cell phone out of your jacket pocket, and look for a picture in your gallery. You sigh when you don't find what you're looking for.
"Okay, I don't have any pictures with her, but that doesn't mean I'm lying..."
Nat laughs, placing the drink on the table and reaching for your cell phone, turning it over to herself. A picture of a redheaded girl on the glass screen.
"She's pretty." Nat comments. "Why don't you have pictures?"
You sigh, deciding if you should share with someone you just met. From what Carol said, Natasha was a nice girl. And honestly, you already liked her.
"We're not an official thing yet." You say shrugging, and putting your cell phone away, then putting your hands in your pockets. "Well, we are a thing. I'm just not sure what."
"Wow, that's trouble." She comments. "This kind of thing usually ends with everyone getting hurt."
"Yeah, I know." You mumble half annoyed. "But that it's temporary. We just need to connect properly, and everything will work out."
Nat looks at you with an insinuating smile.
"Someone is very much in love." She scoffs and you shrug, blushing. "That explains your gay panic earlier when I flirted with you."
You laugh sheepishly.
"Shut up."

You become friends with Natasha Romanoff after that. And now, almost three months later, you are single. Again.
"You know what, Wanda, do whatever you want." You retort angrily before slamming the door on your way out.
The first place you end up is in the outdoor area of the campus, sitting under one of the trees with your eyes closed.
"You young people are so dramatic." You hear a female voice comment wryly and open your eyes to face Professor Harkness, who teaches Social Psychology, standing in front of you with her hands in the pockets of her cardigan. She was probably one of the most controversial people you knew, impeccable teacher, but with questionable jokes. You liked her however.
"Hi, Mrs. Harkness." You mumbled.
"May I ask why you are striking the pose of the dramatic hero in a romance film? There are literally dry leaves falling all around you." She teases with a smile, you chuckle lightly.
"It's nothing, Mrs. Harkness." You tell her and she makes a slight movement with her head, indicating for you to walk with her. You sigh before standing up.
"I was talking to Principal Okoye at the entrance to the girls' dorm about the new coffee machines they installed in the teachers' lounge, and I, as well as the rest of the dorm, overheard your little disagreement with Miss Maximoff." She told as you walked side by side. You bit the inside of your cheeks, embarrassed. "Of course, my concern is that your grades will be affected by this conflict."
You laugh lightly, staring at the path in front of you. Mrs. Harkness was known for getting involved in the personal dramas of the students, and seemed to get a good kick out of it. You sighed lightly.
"Wanda and I are taking a break." You counters, and Harkness gives a chuckle.
"Young people, and these new forms of relationships." She retorts. "In my day we had one date and we were already getting married!"
"Is that why you divorced Professor Bohner?" You retort and Harkness seems impressed that you strike back, but laughs.
"Don't be a smart-ass, huh?"
You laugh, shaking your head slightly. A moment later, Agatha speaks again.
"Maybe I'm not in my position to comment, but I'm going to bring it up anyway." She begins. "I've noticed that you get especially quiet in my classes when you have some disagreement with Mrs.Maximoff, which is a shame, since I love the debates you bring to my class."
"I'm really starting to believe that all this talk is about the subject matter." You retort with a smile and you stop walking at a crossroads. The teacher smiles at you.
"Next week we're going to have an important test." She says. "Maybe you two should work things out between yourselves so that it doesn't affect your grades."
"Thanks for the warning, Ms.Harkness." You comment with an embarrassed smile.
She nods before walking toward the main building. You head in the opposite direction, thinking about spending some time in the game room.

You are playing pool when Tony Stark joins you. Resisting the urge to use the stick on his face instead of the ball, you take a deep breath and play.
"What's up, Y/N?" He asks with a cocky little smile and you roll your eyes. From the timing and the annoying way rumors were spreading around the university, he should have heard about your little disagreement with Wanda.
"I'd watch your next words if I were you, Stark." You mumble menacingly. "I'm the one holding a bat."
He laughs, raising his hands in surrender for a moment. A drink that should be whiskey dangling between his fingers.
"I came here as a friend." He retorts and you watch the table, waiting for your partner, Clint Barton, to make his move.
"We're not friends." You say and Stark laughs again, making an expression of fake offense that makes you roll your eyes in impatience. "What do you want?”
"A favor."
"God must be testing me." You say bending down to make your move in the game. Stark smiles realizing that you will listen to what he has to say.
"I'm having a party on Saturday." He begins and you walk around the table. "I wish your friend Pepper was there."
"Do I look like a cupid, Stark?" You retort impatiently. "Even more so for someone like you. I wouldn't do that to Pepper."
Stark laughs awkwardly.
"Hey, come on." He says. "This story again? I already apologized, it's water under the bridge."
You grip the bat tightly, looking at Stark angrily, and he sighs. "Look, I'm not like that anymore, okay?" he continues. "Pepper is a nice girl, and I'm trying to get serious with her, but she blocked me and I can't invite her to a party."
"You're ridiculous." You comment impatiently. "Knowing you, you'll hound me until I say yes. Tell you what, I'll tell Pepper you're having a party, and you don't talk to me for the next year, okay?"
Tony let out an exclamation of celebration and rushed to give you a kiss on the cheek before quickly pulling away before you slapped him. He ran outside, waving and laughing.
"You know, I'm still amazed at how cool you can be." Clint comments as you turn your attention back to the game. You blink in confusion.
"Why do you say that?"
"I would have killed Tony if he had done what he did to Wanda to Laura." He says as you play along. "I think it's pretty mature the way you both went through it, and you forgave him despite everything."
You shake your head.
"He didn't do anything to me, I have nothing to forgive." You retort. "I've known him since he was a kid, and he's always been a jerk." You say. "After what happened, I was very angry. But then time passed, and he's just a colleague now. If he leaves me alone, I have no reason to fight with him."
"Yet here you are arranging a date for him."
You let out a chuckle.
"Oh, yeah." You say. "How long before Tony finds out that Pepper is engaged, I wonder."
Clint blinks and then lets out a laugh.
"I'm impressed."
"Don't be." You say. "The best advantage of that story is that he won't talk to me for a whole year."
Clint laughs and you two play in silence.
When you finish, with him winning by a few points, it is you who pays the bill as you both bet.
On the way out, Laura calls him, and you go back to your dorm.

You skip the first period on Friday, Art History, because you sleep too much after staying up at dawn re-reading your messages with Wanda.
It's frustrating the way you can't get her out of your head.
Stumbling out of your bed, you are still yawning when you get out of the shower, and then you put on your first set of sweatshirts and leave for your next class.
Professor Harkness is already in the classroom when you enter.
You look at Wanda, already seated in one of the back seats when you sit down, but she quickly looks away from you.
"Dears, today I've brought a very relevant topic for our end-of-semester paper" Agatha begins as everyone sits down, and the bell rings. She has a twinkle in her eyes that makes you frown. "Let's talk a little about relationships today."
You look at the teacher in disbelief, and Harkness actually had the audacity to throw you a little smile before turning on the slides.
Sighing, you laid your head on one of your arms, starting to make some notes, knowing that this was going to be a long and awkward lesson.
"And so we can conclude that setting boundaries turns out to be a crucial part of a healthy relationship." Said Professor Harkness many minutes later. You were drawing a small doll with your pencil on the sheet and were startled when she called your name next. "Honey, I wanted your opinion on this topic."
You blinked in confusion, shaking your head slightly. Looking forward, you noticed that Agatha was pointing to the slide. The topic was "How to avoid fights and emotional fallout in a relationship?"
You mumbled to yourself that it was a great question, and Agatha asked you to speak up.
Blushing a little, you took a deep breath, trying to think of a decent answer.
"I would say that communication is one of the most important steps, Ms. Harkness." You answer then Agatha smiles at you.
"Yes, that is correct." She says. "And talking is the key. Not arguing, or accusing. Or offend. Talk."
You risk looking behind you and blush when you find Wanda already looking at you. You quickly turn your head forward. This is so childish, you think, trying to turn your attention back to class.

After your last period, you want to sleep. But there is a flood in the ladies' room and the dormitory is in absolute chaos, and it is also very hot, so you are heading outside two minutes after you have arrived in your room.
Your roommate, Darcy Lewis, catches up with you outside, extending a cigarette to you, but you refuse with a nod, though you stand beside her.
"I haven't seen you in a few days, is everything okay?" She asks casually between puffs. You shrug, and she smiles. "Let me guess, Wanda?"
"I'm so predictable, right?" you retort and she laughs.
"No, you're just in love."
You let out a dry laugh, looking at the small crowd of girls waiting for the bathroom flood to be cleaned up by the cleaning crew outside.
"What's the deal with you guys, anyway?" Darcy asks with a frown. "Everyone has seen you two exchanging kisses in the same number that you''ve exchanged screams."
You run your hand through your hair, pulling the strands out of front of your eyes.
"We have too much history, that's all." You say. "Wanda doesn't quite know how she wants us to happen, and so we fight."
"Shit, that's sucks." She comments taking a long drag. You sigh, shrugging your shoulders.
"Yeah, it is what it is, sister." You retort. "She's got me tied up like a puppy while she decides what she wants to do."
Darcy is thoughtful for a moment, and then she puts out her cigarette.
"Look, you're a nice girl, and we've shared the same room for three years. I like you. " She begins, and you look at her curiously. "I think I can help you."
"Okay?"
"You know, I used to have a fling with a friend in high school, Jane, but she never let things be official between us, you know? Like she put me on hold mode." She tells you and you nod in understanding. "That just hurt me, until I took action."
"What did you do?"
"An ultimatum of course!" She says. "You need to confront her! If not, she will continue to think she can throw you over the edge whenever she wants. And you can't back down, you hear me? Or things could get worse."
You sigh, putting your hands in your pockets.
"I'm not very good with conflict." You say and Darcy puts her hand on your shoulder.
"Come on, you can do it." She tries to encourage you with a smile. Seeing your lack of reaction, she adds with a grin. "You can always make her jealous too."
"What?"
"Actually, she's looking over here with a deadly stare so I think you're already on this path." Darcy comments and you look back, only to catch a glimpse of Wanda's angry gaze before she turns and walks away from the dormitory. You let out a sigh.
"Shit." You say turning to Darcy quickly just to say goodbye, before running after the redhead. Darcy says something about "good luck" but you don't turn around.
//-//
You catch up with Wanda in one of the outside gardens, even from your back, you can practically feel her irritation.
"Will you please stop running?" You ask aloud, trying to catch up, and she finally stops, turning around with her arms crossed and an annoyed expression.
"What do you want?"
"Wanda, I was just talking to Darcy..."
Wanda lets out a dry laugh, her eyes glittering with irritation.
"I should have known you'd be like everyone else." She grumbles and you sigh, putting your hands in your pockets.
"Don't say that, Wanda." You say with weariness in your voice. "You know that's not true."
Wanda rolls her eyes, tears welling up in her eyes, and you refuse the urge to wipe them away, deciding that you two needed to talk.
"It doesn't matter." She retorts angrily. "We're done anyway."
"Enough." You interrupt her and she looks at you in surprise. "Enough of this whole taking a break, or breaking up for two or three days only for you to have me come back to your door and apologize for something that wasn't my fault."
"Wow, you really do remember things the way you want to."
You let out a dry laugh, taking one of your hands out of your pocket to run them through your hair nervously.
"Wanda, I'm serious." You warn her. "I'm not doing this anymore. This game where you put me on hold for when you're in the mood. I have feelings, I can't do this any longer."
Wanda gasps with incredulity.
"What the hell are you talking about?"
"You know damn well what I'm talking about." You retort angrily. "I am not your toy! I love you! I'm not going to be your compensation prize for when you're bored." You shout, and Wanda blinks in surprise. "Either we're for real, or we're nothing."
"I don't..." She starts and then shakes her head, trying to pull herself together. "You know what I went through... we... I told you how hard it is to trust..."
"Wanda, enough." You interrupt her, "That's exactly what I'm saying. You always use the same excuses to make me feel guilty about demanding anything." You count and she shakes her head in denial, but you don't stop. "I know exactly what you've been through, because I listen to you. I'm not like Vision, or Tony, or any of the other assholes you went out with." You say and Wanda lowers her head. "I take care of you, I don't lie, or hide things. I talk, and I listen, and I love you the best way I can. And you push me aside. I can't do that anymore." You say feeling your own eyes fill with water. "So I need an answer now."
"What?"
"Wanda." You call out to her, but she just stares at you with her mouth open, as if she is trying to think of something to say, but nothing comes out. You feel your tears run down. "Okay. I guess I have my answer then."
Wiping your tears away, you turn around, walking away. Wanda calls out to you, but you're done.

For three weeks now, your social life has been all about fictional characters.
Your real friends called and texted you, but you left your cell phone on silent and tried not to fail your exams, while you spent all your free time in your room, whining while watching romantic movies where things worked out in the end, unlike what happened to you.
And then Carol Danvers appeared in you bedroom.
"You've got to be kidding me." She grumbled when Darcy opened the door, and she found you wrapped in a blanket, lying on the bed and staring at nothing.
"Hi, Carol." You greeted her without moving.
"Nat began to worry that you were dead." She commented sitting up in your bed, "But you were just being dramatic."
"Yes, I intend to keep it going like this." You retort pulling the blanket up over your head.
"Wow, I thought your worst was when you guys were fighting, but you really hit misery when you broke up with her." Carol said and you whined at the mention.
"Please talk about something else."
Carol rolled her eyes as she pulled on the blanket.
"We're going out." She announces as you grumble as you feel the blanket being pulled completely off.
Forty minutes later, you have showered, and put on comfortable clothes, as well as accepted the two glasses of water Carol gave you.
"Nat and her new boyfriend are meeting us at the gallery on Avenue Two." Carol tells you as she checks her cell phone. "Maria is going too, and she's bringing a friend."
You grumble in agreement and suddenly stop walking.
"Are you trying to set me up on a date?"
Carol laughs.
"I totally would, but no." She says."Monica is straight, and you're in the emotional cesspool, so I told Maria to bring someone so you wouldn't be the third wheel since we're in couples. Try to smile a little."
You roll your eyes, but don't reject that Carol has entwined her arm in yours as you walk toward the parking lots.
//-//
Meeting Monica turns out to be very nice after all.
You have many interests in common, and she is very intelligent and sarcastic, you enjoy her jokes.
Your outing with your friends brings a little cheer to you, and you find yourself laughing easily.
And then, when you are driving back to NYU, Monica mentions the boy she is talking to and you choke when you hear the name Maximoff.
"Oh my god, I can't believe you're dating Pietro!" Exclaims Carol in surprise as she drives you back. You are in the passenger seat, and Monica and Maria are in the back seat. Nat and Bruce, her boyfriend whom you met on the ride, went back to school on her motorcycle. "What a small world."
"I want to die." You grumble against the window, and Carol slaps you on the shoulder while Monica and Maria have confused expressions.
"Her girlfriend, damn, ex-girlfriend is Pietro's twin sister." Carol clarifies and the girls let out a noise of understanding. "How did you meet him, Mon?"
"I participated in the interclass program we had last semester between NYU and our university." She counted with a smile. "We talked for a few weeks, and he asked me out."
"Wow, what a coincidence." Carol says and you sigh, wishing you were back in bed.
"I had no idea Wanda had a girlfriend, Pietro didn't tell me."
You close your eyes, resting your head on the glass. Carol looked at you quickly, biting her lips, before she decided to speak.
"Yeah, well. Wanda wasn't exactly willing to make it all official..." She starts and you fight the urge to jump out of the car. "It was the reason for the breakup actually."
"Damn, I'm sorry." Monica said looking away from Carol to your reflection in the glass, but you kept your eyes closed.
Seeing the worried expression Monica cast at you, Carol added.
"Don't worry about her, honey. She likes to put on drama." Said the blonde. "She's pretending she's in a sad music video, that’s why we left the radio on."
"I hate you." You mumble to Carol and she lets out a giggle.
"I guess your invitation won't be a good idea then, Mon." Maria remarks next and Carol looks at them curiously through the rearview mirror.
"What invitation, girls?"
Monica exchanges a look with Maria before speaking.
"Pietro is on the NYU soccer team, and he asked me to watch the final game." She says. "It's pretty important, because that's where a lot of future players come out of there with contracts."
"Wow, that sounds really important." Carol comments with a smile.
"Anyway, he said it would be cool if I brought some friends along." She recounts. "He would like to meet my friends, and he would like me to meet his."
"That's awesome!" Carol exclaims happily. "Don't worry, we'll all be there cheering for Pietro."
The sentence makes you open your eyes and frown. But before you can say anything, Carol nods and repeats, "All of us."
//-//
Bad, bloody bad idea.
Fucking terrible idea.
You repeated these thoughts as you walked toward Carol, waiting for you at the entrance to the NYU soccer stadium, completely packed with students even though there were still forty minutes before the game started.
Carol was also wearing a set of jeans, and made a kind note about your outfit, but you just nodded, your thoughts elsewhere.
You met up with Maria, Nat and Bruce at the food booths, and you were glad to see your friends again after so many days.
"Ah, there's Monica coming." Said Maria with a smile waving to the girl through the crowd. The group looked on, and you swallowed dryly as Monica moved, and you noticed Pietro next to her, and then further back his group of friends, and his sister.
"I can't do this." You grumbled to Carol, and she looked at you with concern.
"Breathe." She asked softly as they approached. "You'll be fine, whatever happens just pretend she doesn't exist."
When the group reached you, you all smiled politely. You wanted to dig a hole in the ground when your gaze quickly met Wanda's, and your stomach churned, but you just waved nicely, and greeted everyone.
Soon you were all walking together to the stands. You wished you could stay the whole way with Carol, but she was chatting animatedly with Maria, and you stayed behind, avoiding walking with Wanda.
Pietro, and two of his friends, Bucky and Sam, also went to the locker room with him and the rest of the group went up to the bleacher seats.
You grumbled softly when you had to sit next to Wanda, hoping that your face wasn't too flushed. At least you were in the last chair with quick access to the corridor. To get away in case anything went wrong.
After everyone passed the food around, and you exchanged a few embarrassed glances with the redhead next to you when she passed you some soda, the game began.
It was an understatement to say that you weren't paying attention at all.
//-//
At halftime of the second half, Wanda commented that she wanted more snacks. And she could have simply asked you to excuse her, but she put her hand on your thigh instead, and you sighed in surprise and something else while you melted against your seat, and blushed profusely when she looked at you wide-eyed.
"I..." She started but you just started to get up.
"I'll buy it, I got it." You mumbled clumsily rushing to get out of there as quickly as possible.
Your legs were still shaking a little when you reached the food stalls.
Pulling your cell phone from your pocket, you typed a message to Carol that you were on the verge of emotional collapse and needed to leave. And without waiting for her to respond, you left the stadium.
//-//
NYU won the match. And Pietro got a contract to play for a famous team.
You heard about this from Maria the next day, because Carol wasn't talking to you.
She was very upset that you weren't opening up to her anymore, you knew it wasn't just because of the game.
You sent her an apology audio before the Literature class, and promised that you would be a reliable friend again.
During the lunch break, you went back to your dorm, intending to study a little.
"Hey." You greeted Darcy as you entered, she took off her headphones.
"Hey, pal." She retorted getting up and walking over to the bookshelf as you sat on the bed and threw your backpack on top of the sheet. "Your girl left some stuff for you." She warned as she picked up a book. You figured she must be studying for one of the surprise exams Professor Xavier used to pass around the class, and Darcy always remarked to you.
You blinked in surprise, and looked around. There was a small pile of things on your bed that you hadn't noticed before.
Shifting on the mattress, you began to look at the items.
You rolled your eyes at what Wanda decided to return. Some things were yours, like the NYU sweatshirt, and the cassette tapes, but there were also items that you had given her as gifts. Grabbing the bracelet you gave her for her birthday, the scarf you bought her for Christmas, and the book you got autographed by the author just for her, you left the room. Darcy didn't ask.
//-//
Wanda answered the door in confusion. You had a slightly annoyed expression.
"I can't believe you returned my gifts." You said walking into the room without waiting for her to pass. She mumbled an ironic "come in" afterwards.
You threw the items on her bed as she closed the door. You didn't notice that she locked it.
"I know we broke up, but that was cruel!" You said. "I gave those gifts to you, and you gave them back like they were nothing, I didn't..."
"I didn't give them back." She interrupted, twisting her fingers slightly, You frowned confused, "I wanted you to come talk to me."
You blink in surprise, feeling all the anger leave you at once. Shifting your weight between your feet, you cross your arms.
"What do you want, Wanda?"
"You." She confesses breathlessly and you frown in surprise, feeling your face heat up. She lets out a chuckle, running a hand through her hair. "I just... I want to apologize first." She begins. "I acted like a complete idiot, and I was so afraid of you hurting me that I did it to you first. And I'm sorry."
You looked at the floor afterwards, not knowing exactly what to say as you felt your heart racing. Wanda continued to speak.
"It's just... I swore I wasn't going to get involved with anyone after so many lies and betrayals." She said. "And then I met you. And you were sweet and kind, and so warm. And I didn't know how to handle all this love, because nobody ever treated me like that."
"Wanda..."
"No. I need to say." She interrupts with a tender smile. "You need to know that I'm sorry I hurt you. I didn't mean to do that. I was just scared."
You nod in understanding, swallowing dryly.
"I know." You say. "Damn it, I know. I just... I just wanted you to understand that I will never do what they did to you."
Wanda steps forward, and you don't back down.
"I trust you." She said. "I know you won't. I want to make this work."
You sighed.
"A-are you sure?"
"You are the best thing that has happened to me since I left high school." She confesses with a shy smile. "I don't want to lose you. I want to live this, even if I'm terrified."
You smile, moving closer to Wanda to caress her cheeks.
"No need to be afraid, baby." You say gently. "I'll look after you."
Wanda smiled and hugged you by the shoulders. You sighed as you wrapped your arms around her waist.
She broke the embrace a moment later, however, bringing your mouths together in a sweet kiss.
God, you missed her lips so much.
Resting your foreheads together, you smiled and then kissed her again, more intensely this time.
Wanda sighed, then your head was spinning, and all the hard-on from spending weeks apart came back at once, and you were pushing her against the first surface you could find, a bookshelf.
She let out a mixed groan of pain and pleasure as she felt her back hit the wood, but she was back to kissing you passionately the next second.
"Did you miss me?" she whispered breathlessly against your lips, scratching the scalp of the back of your neck, you grunted, feeling her warm body.
"Did you miss me?" you retorted, trailing kisses down against her collarbone as your hands moved up the inside of her blouse.
"Yes." She confessed in a husky voice, closing her eyes tightly as you bit a sensitive spot on her neck.
"How much honey?" You asked as you reached for her breasts, squeezing the flesh through her bra and making her moan and throw her head back.
"So much, babe." She whimpered as you began to play with her nipples between your fingers. And then she nibbled on your ear, whispering breathlessly. "I played with myself only thinking of you."
You gasped, feeling a tightness under your belly. You stepped forward against Wanda, taking her in your lap, and she let out a surprised exclamation, but soon you carried her to the bed, lying on top of her only to capture your lips in an intense kiss.
Leaving your thigh between her legs, it wasn't long before Wanda began to squirm beneath you, your tongues dancing together in a slow, sensual kiss.
As your hand began to play with the buttons of Wanda's jeans, you heard the lock click and let out a mutter of dissatisfaction as you threw yourself to the side, releasing Wanda, who blinked in confusion at the sudden lack of contact and opened her mouth to complain, but shut up when her roommate entered next.
"Wanda, why did you lock the door... Wow hello" Said the girl with a mixed look of surprise and mischief.
You cleared your throat, feeling hot and bothered as you sat up.
"Sorry to crash the party girls, but there wasn't a sock in the door." Continued the girl as she placed her belongings on her own bed.
"All right, Harley." Wanda said in a husky voice, exchanging a quick glance with you.
"Besides, we have a test now Wands." The girl comments with a smile. "I imagine you forgot."
You let out a giggle as Wanda blinks in surprise with a flushed face.
"Damn right." She grumbles getting up, and straightening her crumpled clothes. You sigh, getting up as well.
Wanda exchanges a look with her colleague as she escorts you out.
"Call me when you're done, we can watch a movie." You say as you leave the room. Wanda bites her lips, denying it with her head. Before you can ask, she brings her face close to your ear and whispers:
"I can’t wait to come in your mouth."
"Fuck, Wanda." You grumble feeling your face heat up and the tightness below your stomach ache. But you do nothing, noticing Harley's curious gaze on you from inside the room, not to mention on the people around the hallway.
Wanda walks away with an innocent smile, looking at you fondly.
"I'll come to your dorm when I'm done with the test. " She says and you nod. Wanda places a short kiss on your lips and you chase after her face, feeling her smile on your lips as you kiss her firmer this time.
But it doesn't last long and you break away, smiling one last time before turning away.
You wonder what your best friend's reaction will be when you tell her you two were dating again.

Ruin It.
Tumblr media
18+ Spencer Reid x Ethan
Summary: Spencer never had sleepovers as a kid, so now that he's an adult he's always sleeping over at Ethan's house, ad he'll take any excuse to crawl into bed beside him.
Warnings: mutual pining, love concessions, blowjobs, handjobs, anal sex (both top and bottom spencer in this), childhood friends to lovers
word count: 5.4K
a/n: this is for @imagining-in-the-margins only 1 bed event!! using the prompts: "College!AU where you think you’re crawling into bed with your friend at a party but it’s actually (Character), the person you’ve been crushing on, who is too scared to kick you out" and "Spencer keeps telling you random facts in the middle of the night"
College sucked. Classes weren’t too bad, the workload was manageable when you had no life, the hardest part was that he felt alone most of the time.
His roommates were nice, but they were constant party people and he wasn’t. He liked the occasional party and light drinking, not getting sloshed every single night. He wrote his essays, he went to class, and on the weekends he went to visit Ethan.
He wasn’t allowed to have sleepovers as a child, and he was a little too afraid to let anyone see his mom like that. So as soon as he moved out, he started sleeping at Ethan's house or inviting him to his dorm room. It was a little tradition that Spencer loved.
He also loved Ethan; more than he’d ever tell him. He’s loved him since the moment he saw him at the gifted kid's high school orientation, and it’s slowly grown from a friendly love to unrequited pining. But it was okay, it was bearable. He saw Ethan a lot, they talked every day and being Ethan’s friend was honestly enough for him.
He was leaving class, looking down at his phone while he walked out the door so he could text Ethan and ask when he could come over. Pulling up his chat, he sat down on the bench by the door so he didn’t kill himself trying to text and walk. “I love that you can sit down beside me without even looking at me.” the man beside him said. Spencer looked up and it was Ethan.
“What the fuck?” was all he could say.
“I brought you a coffee cause you stayed up most of the night doing your essay.” He said softly, handing Spencer a Starbucks cup.
Spencer smiled, his heart-melting and seeping into his stomach to feel like butterflies. “Thank you,” he said before taking a sip, it was his classic overly sweet coffee. “Did you want to come back to mine for a bit or go to yours?” Spencer asked.
Ethan stood up, taking Spencer’s bag from him and putting it on his back, “come back to mine.” he suggested. Spencer couldn’t say no to him.
At Ethan’s they always ordered pizza, sitting at Ethan’s small glass dining table and discussing little things they hadn’t told each other yet from the week. Sure they called at night and texted all day but there were stories they saved for when they saw each other in person. Spencer cared for this tradition more than anything else, it made it feel more intimate.
Almost like a date.
After dinner, they’d watch something together, sat pressed together on Ethan’s tiny leather love seat and often sharing a blanket. More than once Ethan had fallen asleep and dipped down to Spencer’s shoulder, making his heart flutter more than usual. Today however he didn’t fall asleep.
They caught up on Doctor Who, getting way too invested in the show and arguing about the plot once it was over. Switching to the movie network, there was just a random sex scene playing, Ethan stopped switching channels and laughed lightly.
“What’s it like sleeping with a girl?” Spencer asked, lightly, embarrassed.
Ethan looked at him almost confused, “Oh, well I only slept with my ex and even then it was only a few times cause our parents were always home, but it was good.” He said, trying to play it up a little, “The first time was the best though cause it was new and exciting and my dick only knew my hand till then so it was pretty great.”
Spencer laughed at him, hard enough to bend at the waist and place his hand on Ethan’s thigh. “What?” Ethan said, he felt like smacking him.
“You’re funny,” Spencer replied with a grin. “So you’ve not slept with anyone else since her? It’s been like a year?”
Spencer knew how much time it had been and that Ethan broke up with her because she was moving away. What he didn’t know was that Ethan dumped her because he’s actually in love with someone else, someone who is currently sitting beside him and asking him questions about sex.
“I haven’t found a person yet that I want to sleep with, like don’t get me wrong I miss sex but like, I don’t want to fuck just anyone anymore,” he explained, staring down at his hands feeling the tiniest bit embarrassed. “I’ve tried sleeping around and the feelings after are too messy, I don’t like when they leave after.”
“What’s it like sleeping with guys?”
Ethan smiled, “It’s amazing, some guys are so tiny and soft and then other guys are rugged and buff and can slam you against a wall and fuck the shit out of you. It’s always different and always amazing.”
“Fuck,” Spencer whispered, feeling himself start to get hard as Ethan talked about getting fucked.
“I like girls, not a lot though,” Ethan said, shifting his body so he was looking more at Spencer and not just sitting beside him. His hand still on Spencer’s leg, “like tits are great and one time this girl was sitting on me while we made out so her hair was in my face and I loved that, I like long hair but I don’t think I want to sleep with women anymore.”
Ethan talking about sex in detail was starting to kill him, he raised one leg up to pull into his chest so his erection wasn’t visible under the blanket they were sharing. It was just a normal conversation…
“Are you staying out here tonight or coming to bed with me again?” Ethan asked to cut the silence.
“I’m going to stay out here if that’s okay?” Spencer replied, swallowing sharply.
“I’m going to shower and head to bed if that’s okay?” He said softly, running his thumb against the material of Spencer’s jeans.
“It’s your house, do what you want.” Spencer teased.
“I washed your pj’s from the last time you were here and they’re in the cupboard above the washing machine.” He said with a smile, getting up and leaving the room.
Spencer watched him walk away with a smile on his face the whole time.
He got up, ignoring his hard-on in the hopes it would just disappear on its own. He put his pj’s on and grabbed the throw pillows from the floor to get comfortable on the tiny couch. For being tiny it was actually much more comfortable than his dorms rock hard mattress.
He sat there in the living room, the tv still on for light and background noise. He heard Ethan singing lightly in the shower until eventually the water stopped and he heard Ethan walking around his room, probably putting his pj’s on and getting ready for bed himself.
Sometimes he’d come out and give Spencer a hug or tell him he loved him, platonically of course. He waited there, his phone resting on his chest while he listened carefully, hoping he’d see him one last time before he went to bed.
His phone buzzed on his chest.
Ethan: I don’t want to ruin the friendship, but we’re both horny and could help each other out.
Spencer read it 3 more times, blinking and rubbing his eyes. He couldn’t believe what he read. Without thinking it over he texted him back.
Spencer: ruin it.
Ethan opened his door and Spencer peaked his head over the back of the couch, they stared at each other softly for a moment. Spencer got up off the couch and met Ethan at his doorway, he placed a hand on his chest lightly, the shirt he threw on clinging to his damp skin underneath.
“How do we do this?” Spencer asked.
“I can bottom, you know cause you’ve never,” Ethan said softly, looking down ever so slightly to look into his eyes.
Spencer moved his hand up Ethan’s chest, along his neck till he was cupping Ethan’s face in his hand. He reached up and kissed him, backing him up into the room and lightly turning them so he could press Ethan against the wall. All he’s ever wanted to do was kiss Ethan, his lips always looked so soft and plump.
Boy, were they ever… Spencer almost melts into his touch as Ethan wrapped his hands around Spencer’s waist, pulling him in tighter and flicking his tongue across Spencer’s bottom lip. Spencer opened his mouth, letting Ethan’s tongue in. He tasted like toothpaste, his tongue was warm and soft against Spencer’s. Spencer pulled back, opening his eyes and locking them with Ethan’s once more.
He pulled back and ripped his t-shirt over his head, throwing it to the floor. “When the fuck did you get so hot?” Ethan asked, doing the same with his shirt.
“Always have been,” Spencer reminded him, “you just weren’t thinking with your dick the last time you looked at me.”
Ethan pulled him back in, connecting their mouths once more, making out with more heat and want than before. He ran his hands down Ethan’s bare chest, playing with the chest hair in his fingers a bit. Ethan broke the kiss, kissing down Spencer’s neck and he dipped down enough to reach behind Spencer’s thighs and pick him up.
Spencer shrieked in surprise, wrapping his arms around Ethan’s neck and gripping Ethan’s hair while he continued to kiss Spencer’s neck. He turned them around so Spencer was pressed against the wall, Spencer crossed his ankles so that he felt more secure against Ethan, hoisted in the air. It was so new, he’d never been manhandled like this before. He didn’t even know how to respond, he just moaned while Ethan nipped and sucked at his neck.
He thought he was hard before on the couch, but now he was aching. He thought he could cum right in his pants from the amount of attention Ethan was giving his neck. He ground down a bit, wanting to see if he could feel how hard Ethan was from that position, and he was right. Ethan pushed back up into him, grinding his rock-hard cock against his ass and groaning in Spencer’s ear.
“Eth,” he said, breathy with want. “Put me down.”
Ethan did as he asked, looking at Spencer with soft eyes, wondering what he wanted next. Spencer gripped the waistband of Ethan’s bottoms, tugging him to the bed and pushing him down. He let Ethan shuffle back till his head was on the pillow. He took his shirt off, threw it by the door, pushed his pj’s down to his ankles and stepped out climbed onto the bed, settling himself between Ethan’s legs.
He toyed with the waistband of his pj’s once more. He looked at Ethan for approval, waiting for him to nod ever so lightly while watching Spencer. he pulled them down, Ethan lifting his hips to assist.
Once his cock sprung free, laying against his stomach, Spencer felt his arousal rush through his whole body. He bit his lip looking down at it, long and thick. A pretty blue vein running along the side, the head sticking out just above his foreskin, his balls tight and beautiful. He was in awe.
“Have you done anything with a guy before?” Ethan asked softly.
“I’ve given a blowjob as a once,” Spencer replied, feeling the embarrassment flush his cheeks.
“Do whatever you're comfortable with, don’t try and wow me or anything.” he said softly, sitting up a bit and reaching a hand out to touch Spencer’s, “you’ve always wowed me, Spence.”
Spencer crawled over him, pushing him back against the bed. He stared into Ethan’s eyes for a moment, the light from the lamp making his skin shimmer.
Spencer pressed a kiss to his lips, “a lot of what I do is to impress you.”
He pulled back, licking his lip before biting the bottom one slightly. He worked his way down Ethan’s bed once more, kissing his hip and spreading Ethan’s legs slightly. Getting down low enough that his own cock rubbed against the bed making him groan a bit. He licked a stripe up Ethan’s length, all while looking up at him to watch him throw his head back in pleasure.
He took the tip in his mouth, swirling his tongue around it before taking him further. Ethan reached his hand into Spencer’s, way too long, hair and played with his scalp. Spencer had a thing for people playing with his hair, he moaned around Ethan causing him to buck up into him.
Spencer let out a small choking noise as he pulled back, “Sorry.” Ethan whispered.
Spencer just hummed and kept sucking. Bobbing up and down on his wonderfully beautiful cock. He wanted to pinch himself and see if he was dreaming; see if he fell asleep on the couch and all of this was just in his head right now.
“Spence,” Ethan moaned, “just fuck me,” he pleaded.
Spencer pulled off with a pop, “where do you keep the lube?” Spencer asked.
“In the bathroom,” Ethan said, running the hand that was in Spencer’s hair down to his cheek softly. Almost too soft for a quick and easy fuck.
“You wouldn’t have to get up if you got a side table.” Spencer teased.
“What makes you think I’m getting up, you can get it.” Ethan shot back.
Spencer crawled back up him and got in real close, his lips barely touching Phils, “if you want me to fuck you, you’re going to have to get it.” he whispered, voice as low and sultry as he could get it.
Ethan gripped Spencer’s hips and flipped him, their faces still close. “You better fuck me good then,” he said before kissing him deeply once more. Pulling back and hopping off the bed, stepping out of his pants that were around his ankles.
Spencer laid there, rock hard and tenting his boxers. He reached down to palm himself, feeling the wet spot of precum camouflaged by the black fabric. He didn’t know if he should take them off or wait for Ethan to take them off, all he knew was that it felt good to be feeling himself up while he waited.
Ethan walked back into the room, cock bobbing as he did so. “Look at you,” he said, stopping in his tracks and looking Spencer up and down, not subtle at all. “You’re so fucking hot.”
“Eth, have you ever seen yourself?” Spencer said, changing the topic, he wasn’t ever comfortable with compliments of any kind.
“Shut up and take your underwear off,” he ordered, getting onto the bed and standing on his knees.
Spencer pushed his pants down to his ankles and took them off, throwing them with the rest of his things so when it was all over and done he could gather them and leave. He knew the drill with one-night stands, and no matter how much he hoped this wasn’t that, it was.
Spencer laid there in the middle of the bed, Ethan smirked lightly before throwing a leg over Spencer and making his way up to sit on him. Spencer’s hands immediately made their way to rest on his soft, naked, hips.
He had stretch marks, a few freckles and a mole on the left side of his groin. His little tuffs of chest hair were dark and curly, matching his hair. Spencer took in the moment so thoroughly, memorizing the texture of his skin and the way his heart skipped a beat sometimes when he looked at Spencer for too long. How cute he looked in the yellow glow of the lamp on the other side of the room. How it cast a shadow of Ethan’s form onto Spencer’s body making him disappear into the moment, the way he wanted to.
Ethan ran his fingers down Spencer’s chest so lightly that it felt like feathers. He closed his eyes and let out a soft sigh. He leant down, using one hand to prop himself up beside Spencer’s head and the other to fiddle with the cap of the lube. His breath was hot on Spencer’s mouth while he watched Ethan get in position.
He was going to open himself up all whilst kissing Spencer. “This is still okay, right?” Spencer asked him.
“I’m literally about to finger myself and sit on your dick, so yes,” Ethan said with a small laugh.
Spencer laughed too, running his hands up Ethan’s back and holding him like a hug. He wondered if sex with Ethan was like this for his other partners if they felt happy and safe and full of laughter. The sex Spencer had before him was never like this, never fun or long-lasting. It was rushed and boring and pitiful.
Ethan kissed him again, soft pecks as Spencer felt Ethan’s arm moving between them. He moaned a little against Spencer’s mouth and he took that opportunity to lick his lip, feeling Ethan’s tongue against his own; hot and wet but also soft and wonderful.
He was so far gone for Ethan, he was truly fucked in more ways than one.
Ethan ground down into him and ripped him back to reality, the feeling of their cocks together was enough to have him cumming then and there.
Ethan pulled back, sitting back up he grabbed a condom that he must have brought with him from the bathroom. He opened it with his mouth trying to be seductive but only got some of the spermicides in his mouth and the foil stuck to his chin making Spencer laugh hard enough his stomach almost started to hurt.
“I fucking hate you,” Ethan said, rolling the condom down Spencer’s length.
“Really?” Spencer asked, head cocked, “cause it looks like we’re fucking, regardless?”
Ethan strokes a generous amount of lube onto him, “shut up! God, you’ve always been so annoying,” he says one last time, grabbing Spencer at the base of his cock and lowering himself onto it slowly.
Spencer’s never felt such immense pleasure in his life. He’s fooled around with people and fucked himself before but never in his entire life had he felt the intensity of the rings of muscle pulling him in slowly. Ethan just sat there on him once he bottomed out, Spencer wasn’t even looking at him now.
He had his head thrown back and his eyes closed while Ethan lifted himself and little and slammed back down, causing Spencer to let out the breathiest moan he’s ever produced.
“Fuck,” he whispered.
He pushed himself up on one arm enough to grab the back of Ethan’s neck and pull him down into a kiss. Ethan licked his bottom lip once more, skipping the soft kisses and immediately smashing their tongues together while he road him.
Ethan kept grinding on him, only fucking himself slightly, not getting all that he could. “Wait.” Spencer breathed, “get on your knees a bit more.” he instructed, and Ethan did as he was told.
Spencer was barely still in him, Ethan clenched around the head to keep him there while Spencer bent his knees, placing his feet flat on the bed so he could thrust up into Ethan relentlessly. Ethan moaned, again and again as Spencer fucked into him.
Spencer had never had that reaction, he’d also never expected Ethan to have such high-pitched breathy moans. Ethan held himself up with one arm while he jerked himself off with his other hand.
If Spencer wasn’t so close he’d probably want to cry just a bit. He always wanted to be with Ethan, since he was 17 he’s thought about a moment like this. And he still didn’t believe it was happening.
“Fuck Spence!” Ethan half screamed, cumming up Spencer’s chest, some of it hitting his neck and under his chin.
Spencer kept fucking him, he somehow got even fucking tighter and the heat in his stomach he had been ignoring to focus on the moment suddenly erupted into the condom. He didn’t make any noise, his whole body seized, he felt like he came for a good minute. His body had never felt pleasure like that in his life.
Ethan pulled off and flopped down beside him, staring up at the ceiling like Spencer was.
“What. The. Fuck?” Ethan said slowly, gasping for hair between each word.
Spencer didn’t answer, he didn’t even know if it was a question or a statement. He felt himself soften, he felt the cum getting cold on his chest and in the uncomfortable condom. His legs were too shaky to stand up yet. He sat up, reaching as best as he could off the bed for Ethan’s boxers and wiping himself off.
He took the condom off, tied it so it wouldn’t spill and threw it underhand into the garbage by Ethan’s dresser. He’s never been good at sports in his life but somehow got it in.
Boy did he ever get it in.
Ethan was still beside him, breathing a little less heavy and still very much naked. Spencer stood, seeing if he could handle it, Ethan reached out and grabbed his hand.
“You don’t have to go back to the couch. You can stay in here,” he said, laying over on his normal side of the bed.
Spencer, still naked, crawled over him to get to the inside of the bed, against the wall. Ethan gathered the sheets from the end of the bed, the same ones Spencer had sat on and slept under so many times in the last few years that he’s known Ethan. It wasn’t unusual for them to nap or sleep together, but it was weird to be naked.
“Here, put these on the windowsill?” Ethan said handing him the lube.
Spencer did so, watching as Ethan got out of bed, and turn the light off. Making his way back to the bed with the muscle memory of doing that probably every night. He crawled back into bed and moved to cuddle into Spencer.
“Are you a post-sex cuddler or no?” Ethan asked softly.
“Um, I think so?” Spencer replied, smiling and turning to his side, feeling Ethan’s naked and partly sweaty body press against him.
He felt content, like every fear he’d ever experienced left his memory and he melted into Ethan. falling asleep before he could take at the moment for when he’d need to relive it.
-
He’d slept in the same bed as Ethan before, that part wasn’t awkward. What was awkward was the fact Ethan’s bed was pressed against the wall, and Spencer’s side was against that wall. So if he wanted to sneak out to pee or just to leave and avoid whatever conversation and heartbreak that was to come, he was going to have to crawl over Ethan.
He moved a little too hard, looking at a way out that he woke Ethan. more like startled him. “Fuck Spencer,” he said, a different tone from the night before. “I forgot you were here.”
“Oh, I’m sorry I need to pee,” he said.
“Crawl over me I don’t care,” he said softly. Closing his eyes again.
Spencer did just that, very awkwardly and making Ethan grunt as Spencer accidentally pressed his weight on him. A string of “sorry”’s spewed out of Spencer’s mouth before he got off the bed. He grabbed his underwear as fast as he could and dashed to the bathroom.
He looked at himself in the mirror and was a little horrified. He didn’t know how to talk to his best friend anymore without thinking about how he was inside him and how much he’d like to do it again but the other way. All the ways. He loved him.
He was hard, of course, he was hard, it was morning. But he was also so enthralled in his thoughts of fucking Ethan again.
He peeked his head out the door, Ethan was sitting up, glasses on and phone in hand. “Mind if I shower?” he asked Ethan.
“Go for it, you know where everything is.” he smiled. “And if you want to go round two everything you need is under the sink,” he added, looking at the tent in Spencer’s underwear.
“Fuck,” Spencer whispered again.
“Go on. I’ll be here.”
He closed the door and pressed his back against it. “Fuck, fuck, fuck,” he repeated once again before getting in the shower to do what he knew he needed to do.
He got out, breathing deeply as he wrapped himself in a towel and put everything back. He grabbed a condom while he was at it and made his way back into the room.
Ethan was there, laid back as he stroked himself lightly. Spencer dropped his towel and threw the condom at him, drying his hair off a bit more before he climbed into the bed and hovered over Ethan.
Ethan reached up and kissed him softly. So soft Spencer almost forgot he was about to get fucked for the first. Ethan wrapped his arms around him once more and flipped him onto his back like he had the night before. He sat on his knees between Spencer’s legs, putting the condom on and reaching for the lube on the windowsill.
Spencer placed his hands on his forehead before running them through the wet curls. He was anxious and ready. “Please,” he whispered.
Ethan smiled, he grabbed the pillow that Spencer had been cradling in his sleep and motioned for Spencer to lift his butt a bit, settling it under him. He took the lube and pumped some onto his 3 fingers, rubbing it together in his hands to warm it.
Spencer spread his legs more, watching in awe as Ethan swiped his index finger along his rim. His breathing picked up, his hands in his own hair got tighter as Ethan pushed in, reaching with his other hand to jerk Spencer off so there was more pleasure than uncomfortable stretching. But honestly, Spencer kinda loved the weird feeling of being full…
He pumped it in and out, twisting and curling it for what felt like too long. “Another,” Spencer insisted, “please?” he added.
He watched Ethan smile again before adding another finger making Spencer moan and shut his eyes, living in the wonderful feeling of butterflies escaping his stomach and running through his veins. It was exciting and new, it was somehow loving and dirty for a “round two” as Ethan called it.
Ethan added a third, without warning and Spencer moaned. Soft and breathy he imagined what the give and take of Ethan’s cock would feel like as opposed to his slender fingers. Lucky for him, he was going to find out soon. He bucked his hips at the thought and that was what lead Ethan to pull out.
“Have you ever had anything more than your fingers in you?” Ethan asked.
“Uh-”
“Only cause I don’t want to hurt you?” Ethan asked, his tone so soft and caring Spencer wondered if the guy he fucked last night was a clone.
“You’re good, just go slow,” Spencer said with a small smile.
“And you’re good on your back?” he asked, lubing himself up.
“Um, does it feel better in any other position?” he asked as innocently as he could for the middle of sex.
Ethan smiled again, he was going to have a sore face at this rate. “Face down ass up is good.” and there he was, dirty, flirty Ethan.
“Okay.”
Ethan backed up a bit so Spencer could rollover. He stuck his ass out, with no remorse, and steadied himself on his forearms on Ethan’s pillow. Ethan felt his ass cheeks, his slightly lubed hand not being able to grip as much.
He felt Ethan line up; the latex tip running against his hole and then ever so slowly, Ethan pushed in, an inch at a time, like someone who had the most self-control in the whole world. Unlike last night when he basically slammed himself down on Spencer’s dick.
It felt so good, the slow drag as he took him in, clenching as he did so to suck him in more and more while Ethan pushed in. the butterflies turned to lava and his whole body ran hot, warmer than it had ever been.
He bottomed out and stilled, “Please.” Spencer spat out, not even realizing how desperate he was.
He pulled back and that felt even more amazing, the drag back was jaw-dropping, but the push back and repeat. Holy fuck, Spencer was seeing stars. He understands Ethan’s little noises from last night on a whole new level. He couldn’t believe it was happening.
Just when it got good the thoughts crept in, this was Ethan. Ethan, the love of his life was fucking him and he couldn’t see him or touch him or kiss him and he felt like he was missing out on the moment, once again.
“Stop,” he cried and Ethan pulled out as fast as he could.
“What?” he asked, Spencer, turned over to see Ethan had his hands in the air as if the cops told him to put ‘em up. He’s panicking thinking he hurt Spencer.
Spencer covered his face and cried. “I’m ruining the moment,” he said, muffled through his hands.
“No, you’re not. It’s okay.” Ethan assured him. “What’s wrong?”
“I like you too much…”
“You actually love me,” Ethan whispers with a smile. “You talk in your sleep, you’ve told me that you love me almost every night since you’ve been staying here.”
Spencer is so embarrassed he covers his face, “I’m sorry.”
“It’s okay Spencer,” Ethan wraps him up in a hug, “I love you too, the same way you love me. I have for a long time.”
“Can we finish?” Spencer whispers against his neck, kissing him again as he thinks about the fact that the love of his life actually loves him back.
“Are you sure?” Ethan asked.
“Holy fuck, so sure,” Spencer whined.
Ethan lined back up, pushing in once more as Spencer bit his lip at the feeling. “I love you,” he admitted under his breath, completely awake this time.
“Good,” Ethan said before thrusting again. He tucked an arm under Spencer to pull him in closer and his other arm behind Spencer’s neck to kiss him.
Spencer wrapped his legs and arms around him. They kissed deeply while Ethan thrusted in and out of him. Their breathing was rigid and hot on each other's faces. Ethan moved to kiss Spencer’s cheek and jaw, down his neck and Spencer felt close again, right as Ethan hit his prostate.
“Fuck, Ethan, please?” he whined, “leave a mark, oh my god.”
Ethan sucked deeply and Spencer felt gone. He couldn’t believe it, he snaked a hand between them and jerked himself off. His body went fuzzy, that was the best way to explain it; he was shaking and moaning more than he ever had in his life. He came with a shout, running his nails down Ethan’s back and jerking up into his thrusts.
He thinks he might have passed out. He doesn’t remember Ethan finishing, but now Ethan’s cuddled into him, pulled out and there's a dull ache in his shoulder.
“Sorry?” Ethan mumbled.
“For what?” Spencer asked, winded as all hell.
Ethan kissed his shoulder, “for biting you..”
“Oh, I don’t remember anything after I came.” he admitted, “you fucked my brains out, dude.”
“I tell you I love you and you call me dude?” Ethan said, propping himself up to look Spencer in the eyes once more.
“Shut up, I love you,” Spencer said with a smile.
“I love you too.”
Ethan kissed him again, soft and lovingly. More so than any kiss he’d ever had. “All it took was getting you horny during Doctor Who and I finally got you into my bed,” Ethan giggled.
“Excuse me?” Spencer looked at him, blinking a few times. “I’ve wanted to do this since you told me you liked guys too.”
“We missed out on two years of good sex.”
Spencer kissed him again, smiling halfway through. “Shower with me again?” he whispered against Ethan’s lips.
“Wash my back and I’ll wash yours?” Ethan suggested.
“Always,” Spencer said, kissing him one last time.
But it wasn’t the last time. They kissed all day, and all night until Spencer left to go to his dorm. It felt good to be in love with his best friend. Sure, he went to bed lonely that night but he knew in the long run he wasn’t.

DORM BUDDIES
27. arguing with roommates kinda suck
DORM BUDDIES MASTERLIST
You walk back into your decorated room and tsukishima was still seated on your bed, his phone in his hand and had the blanket covered around him, making himself more comfortable.
“wanna watch a movie?” he casually asks, in which you give him a pleasant smile and nod as you lay down next to him comfortably on your bed.
“I saw this really cool movie that’s out on Netflix and I was like ‘holy shit, y/n would love this movie!’” You laugh gaily at how talkative tsukishima had progressively become, you don’t say anything or look at him either. He carefully looks at you, as you’re facing down fidgeting with your fingers, still maintaining a small smile on your face, but tsukishima frowns and moves closer to you on the bed to give you a hug.
“tsukishima...” you say, he’s still hugging you, his face buried in the crook of your neck and you can’t help but smile gently at how open he’s gotten to you.
“hmm?” is all he says. You unanimously decide to hug him back, and your head is placed on top of his and you give him a quick kiss on his head which makes him hug you tighter.
“this is so unlike you.” you chuckle, his face is still buried in your neck, but you can feel him smile just a bit. “is everything okay?”
“I should be asking you that,” he mumbles. “you’re not talking to me like you always do.” he pauses thoughtfully and tightens the secure hold he has on you and then sighs. “ever since that fair you’ve been distant and I feel like it’s because of what me and kuroo said. You don’t even send me good morning text anymore with those weird ass emojis.” You widen your eyes a bit and then sigh, realizing keenly that you being distant has caused tsukishima to worry and a slight guilt rising within you.
“tsukishima, I’m so sorry, that’s not why. I’m sorry for making you feel that way.” you massage his back as your head remained on top of his. “I’ve been going through some stupid shit. It’s nothing really.”
“really, what’s wrong?” he instantly looks at you, the direct eye contact makes you blush and look away.
‘it’s nothing important”
“you’re lying.”
“oh yeah? How do you know?" you challenge, tsukshima puts his head down and sighs, then looks back at you.
“I just know you, y/n. Now, tell me what’s bothering you.”
“Well, it’s nothing, tsukishima.” you gently tap his nose lightly and giggle.
“kei,” tsukishima mumbles.
what?”
“you can call me kei.” he intentionally tries to conceal his face due to the blush that’s rising and you can’t help hit to squeal at tsukishima’s cuteness. He was so big and tall, but such a softie.
“AWW KEI,” you say, “someone has a crush on me!” you tease, and he just scoffs in response.
“I do not,” he retorts.
“do too,”
“do not.”
“well, I think you do.”
“maybe I do,” tsukishima shrugs and you look down at him in genuine shock, “I like you y/n. A lot actually.” he doesn’t say anything after that, neither do you, you’re still trying to process how random this was, how easy it was for him to candidly confess to you. You genuinely liked tsukishima as well, a lot, actually. You’ve consistently played it off a jokingly flirting so you wouldn’t get your heart broken by your roommate.
“I like you too, kei.” he looked up at you and smiled gently, you mirrored his actions and stared at each other for a while until your phone went off again, signaling that you received at text.
“hold on, I’m gonna set my phone on do not disturb.” you say, as you reach for your phone on the bedside you frown at the name that pops up.
Sugawara.
Again? Seriously, what does he want?
“who is it?” tsukishima humbly asks, readjusting himself on your bed.
“uh, nobody important.” you say, carefully putting your phone down but tsukishima looks at you in confusion.
“y/n, seriously?” tsukishima scoffs.
“what? I said no one special. Can we just watch this movie in peace?”
“I don’t want to watch a movie with you anymore.” tsukishima pouts, moving away from you and sitting himself correct on your bed and crossing his arms.
“kei, don’t be like that-“
“and I take back what I said about you calling me kei.”
“okay, now you’re being petty.” you chuckle, but tsukishima doesn’t laugh, still having a serious look on his face. You groan and move closer to him and lay your head on his lap while looking up to him but he instantly looks the opposing direction. “do you really want to know?”
“yes.”
“it was sugawara.” you mumble.
“oh,” is all tsukishima says, he shifts his leg so that you’re no longer laying on him and sits up properly.
“but it’s not like that, I promise.” you reassure him.
“then what is it like, y/n?" he scoffs, “you’re still talking to your ex. It seems to me that you still like him.”
“I don’t, he just wants to talk that’s it. The only time I’ve seen his since after our break up was the fair and that was on accident.”
“Then why don’t you just ignore him,” he reasonably asks, you don’t reply to that, you don’t know what to say. Why don’t you just ignore him?
“Was he the one you went to go text earlier?” he asks wistfully, you could barely even hear him, he was speaking so quietly.
“Yes, but tsukishima you have to understand-“
“do you still like him? or have feelings for him?” by now he’s no longer in your bed, he’s standing up, waiting for you to reply to him.
Did you still have feelings for him? You aren’t certain. You wouldn’t necessarily say no. You were never really over suga, the break was still sort of new, it happened almost a year ago, but the wound was still fresh.
“I don’t know-“
“are you serious? You seriously don’t know? You’re still hung up on your toxic ex? No fucking wonder why your relationships don’t last long.” His sudden change in behavior is not something you’ve seen before, you haven’t even seen him upset before. “he didn’t treat you right y/n, why do you still have feelings for him?
“kei, I don’t know why. can I just finish?” you’re on the verge of tears, and he doesn’t respond he just scoffs and looks away. “thank you. Sugawara was the first person I truly loved. Yes, he was abusive, yes he was manipulative, but I didn’t realize it at the time. And I don’t fucking know why I still feel some way for him, but the fact that you think it’s okay to say shit like that to me isn’t okay. I understand you’re upset with me, but that doesn’t mean you get to talk to me any way you want.” you’re already crying. You’re not even upset, more outraged that tsukishima had to bring your ex’s behavior into the argument. yes, you were aware he wasn’t the best person, but that doesn’t mean he gets to judge you based on your previous relationships.
“I am my own person kei. You don’t get to bring- up my past. My past doesn’t define me.” you’re breaking down and sobbing, you can barely even form a clear sentence and tsukishima is staring in shock as he’s just now realizing how much of an effect his words had on you. You’re breathing hard and holding onto your throat as your anxiety is getting the best of you, instantly reminding you of the dreadful events that would happen when you and suga would argue.
tsukishima’s eyes widen, he rushed over to your trembling state and holds you in his arms.
“y/n, you’re having a panic attack,” he whispers, “i need you to breathe, okay? take a deep breath with me.” he takes a deep breath, you copy his actions the best you can. tsukishima rubs your back to help soothe you, and praises you once you started breathing steadily.
“shit, y/n, I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean that. I said it out of anger.” He’s still hugging you, still waiting for you to calm down, he waits patiently and feels like shit for letting his anger get the best of him even though that frequently doesn’t happen.
“I’m trying kei. I like you. I really do. I’m sorry for making you upset.” you choke out a sob and tsukishima kisses your temple and strokes your hair softly.
“y/n, please don’t apologize. I’m the one who needs to be apologizing to you. I know your past doesn’t define you as a person and I know that the things sugawara did to you were not okay. I’m so sorry for making you feel like you were a bad person for wanting to talk to him and so sorry for bringing up your past relationships when you obviously weren’t comfortable speaking about it. i know you’re trying. You always have a smile on your face even when you’re hurting. You’re honestly incredible, I don’t know how you do it.” you sniffle in response as tsukishima still is embracing you and he kisses you on the top of your head, which makes your head jolt up and you face him, puffy eyes and all.
“did you just kiss me?” you ask, sniffling again.
“yeah,” he says with mischief, “was that the wrong time or-“
“no, not at all.” you smile, “y’know, for someone who’s basically 2 meters tall, you’re such a softie.”
“am not.” tsukishima mutters.
“are too”
“no”
“yes,” you say, still hugging tsukishima. “but i like this side of you, maybe i should start crying in front of you more.”
“no, i hate seeing you cry.” he burries head in the crook of your neck and kisses it softly then hugs you more tightly.
“hey— are you trying to kill me! let go of me right now tsukishima kei!” he doesn’t listen instead he grumbles and starts littering your face with kisses and you can’t help but blush. “i hate you!”
“but i like you.” he stops and stares at you, you’re blushing and you look away with him, which makes the blond smirk. “what, now you’re suddenly shy?”
“i like you too.”

Break up texts with AOT characters
(Eren, Armin, Jean, Connie, Reiner, Zeke & Porco)
AFAB reader
Content Warning: angst, fluff & some nsfw. Mentions of ddlg (?), semi public sex, I think that’s all. :)
Yes, all the times are the times I worked on them. I don’t sleep lmao. There are typos I see them in just unbothered to fix them
Eren
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You drive over to Eren’s place about ten minutes later. You already cried and did your little heartbreak grieving before leaving. To be fair , you just wanted to have sex with him one more time. Unless he gets into a new relationship, you wouldn’t mind being his friends with benefits, but considering the fact you’re in love with him... it’s a hard no. You get there after fifteen minutes of driving, you have a spare key which you will be returning so you just walk in. You see him sitting on the couch of his apartment, leaning forward with his legs spread and his head in his hands. He looks up and sees you. You walk to him and sit on the couch in front of him.
“Hey...”
“Hey.”
The awkward silence was so uncomfortable, you honestly didn’t want him to say the words to you again. You just wanted to see him, to have him. One more time before you avoid him forever.
Armin
Tumblr media
You feel bad that you broke up with Armin through text, but you didn’t have the guts to tell him in person. But since he was so calm about it, you decided to go and visit him a few hours later. When you get to his dorm which was just across from your dorm building, you do your knock so he knows it’s you. He rushes to the door and greets you with a smile and asks why you’re there. You tell him how you felt bad that you broke up with him by text and wanted to check on him.
“Y/n, I’m fine! It was only 4 months, it takes longer than that for me to fall in love. I saw us as baby couple, just trying it out until it gets serious. I’m not angry, I’m not upset. Don’t worry, y/n. And the way we can still be friends? It makes me happier!”
Let’s just say that a few days later, you crawled right back to him asking him for you back. Eren told him it’s because his dick game strong, and even though Armin knows his game is strong, he knows that you just have a kind heart and that’s why you’ve been attracted to him. Now it’s been over a year and you have a promise ring on your finger :)
Jean
Tumblr media
You and Jean are literally in the same apartment. You LIVE with him. You’re in the bathroom and he was cooking food. He texts you telling you to get off the toilet and go to the kitchen so you finish your business and do what he says. You get to the kitchen to smell the beautiful food and you approach your husband.
“You’re joking right? About not feeling it between us?”
“Of course I’m joking, I’m literally married to you. Today is our 2 year anniversary. Jean, did you get high before cooking? Did Eren sneak in here and let you smoke? Are you good?”
Jean holds your waist, giving you kisses on your forehead. He pushes you lightly against the counter next to the stove. He shoves his face into your neck, leaving those gorgeous black and blue galaxies on your neck.
“Really? Before our guests come over? You’re such a bad boy, do I have to punish you later tonight?”
“If anyone’s getting punished, it’s you for pretending to break up with me,” he lifts you up and puts you on the counter, going in between your legs. He lifts up your skirt, leavings kisses all on your thighs making his way to your core. “Now, you be a good girl and let daddy take care of you, yeah?”
Connie (yes the top text is cut off for a reason)
Tumblr media
You googled break up texts because you wanted to mess with him, but his responses really disappointed you. Like geez prank gone stupid? When Connie gets to your place, he literally brought his switch and extra controllers and he pushes his way inside. You own the switch lite (pain) so you always ask him to bring his and connect it to the tv. He’s so focused on gaming with you that he doesn’t even pay attention the fact that you’re wearing lingerie. You don’t even want to play, you just wanted sum fuk. He finishes setting up the console and sits on the couch.
“Hey babe. Oh, nice. You look cute.”
“???? CUTE?”
“Yeah. You ready? Lets play.”
“Why am I dating you? You don’t even know how romance works.”
“Yes I do. If I win, I fuck. You win, I go down on you. Is that not how it works?”
“.... connie shut up and let’s just play.”
Reiner
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You felt like the world was coming to an end. What made Reiner change his mind? You guys just made love the other night again, he took you out to eat last night, why today? Oh no... was he spoiling you to prepare you for heartbreak? Reiner doesn’t seem like that though.... why is he so poetic yet such an ass? It’s around 9 pm when he stops by with your belongings. You try to give him his goodies but he tells you to keep it. He allows you to cry in his arms, to kiss him one last time. And the whole time this happens, this man gets a raging fucking hard on. You know he had a thing for pain and degradation, but this is real life. Is he really getting turned on by a break up? But... it gives you a chance to have one last sex before he never comes back. Because god that man has a monster dong.
“Reiner.. whats with the hard on?”
He blushes, moving a hand to cover his crotch area. Unfortunately, your hand grips his cock this his pants before he does. He buckled his knees and legs out a strangled moan, just for you.
“Y/n, d-don’t do this..”
“Oh? Who’s the one who got a hard on from breaking up with me? Huh?”
Before you can do anything else, he pushes you off him, your ass landing on the bed. You were expecting one thing, but not what he does.
“Stop! Listen, I got to go. I hope you live a happy life... I love you...”
He walks towards your apartment door, swings it open and steps out.
“Take care.”
Zeke
Tumblr media
After Zeke had texted you that, of course you cried. You didn’t know how to take it... he’s in his thirties and you’re only in college. Hell, you have class with his younger brother. But have fun? Go to parties and fuck other men? Like if you’re a cuck, just say it. If he REALLY wants you to party and sleep with other people, they could’ve just stayed in a relationship but make it open. He could’ve added some people to the sequence... you’ve always wanted a threesome, especially with a girl so you don’t understand why he’d just leave you. But you don’t even like parties or clubs. You love him, you want to be settled down. You wanted him. If he found another woman... he would’ve said that right? Or is he manipulative like you heard his brother was? Everyone knows about Eren, he’s a whore. Does it run in the family? No... he only broke up with you today. Just wait a bit before assuming.
A month passes, you went to one (1) party at a club with your dorm roommate, Hitch, and you had a terrible time. You saw one man drop something in your drink (which you proceeded to toss on his face), two others tried sandwiching you on the dance floor (which he elbowed them both in the face), and some other guy literally touched your thigh while trying to speak to you at the bar. You had enough. You socked him in the face, and went towards the bathroom area. You see a familiar face with an unfamiliar woman.
Zeke...
He had a woman with long black hair on his lap. No... it’s hidden but you could see it in plain sight. He had his cock stuffed inside her, under her skirt. She had this twisted face of pleasure and he wasn’t moving, nothing. She was moving her hips on his lap, pleasing him. She looks around and makes eye contact with you. She recognizes you as Zeke’s ex, and rides him quicker.
You look away, angrily and upset, you throw the cup you were babysitting on the floor in front of you, shattering it. People around who heard it look, including Zeke. He turn your head to look him dead in the eye with your look of disgust, and turn around to leave.
That was the last time you saw him or came in contact with him.
Porco
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You sigh. You always were there for him on his shitty days. You feel bad leaving him stranded. So you ended up going over. You think it’s a bad idea and it probably is, but you’ll suffer the consequences if so. You drive to his apartment and walk in with the spare key you had. You don’t see him so you assume he’s in his room. You hear a faint sound, almost like a moan. You take a huge sigh. If he’s jerking off, you’re leaving. You walk in, opening his door and you see his back his facing you. He turns around and... he’s crying. Porco isn’t much of a crier so this really shocked you. You run to him, sitting next to him and hold his face.
“Pock, my baby...”
“Y/n, don’t leave me. Please... I know I’m a dickhead a lot and I know I’m a piece of shit. I hold so much anger in me and... I take it out in the wrong person. I’ll take anger management or something, I’ll go to a therapist. Just... please don’t leave me. You’re the reason I wake up, my sun and moon. The one I love, y/n please.. I want to build a future with you. I want to get married, have abratty little mommy’s boy with you and cute little daddy’s girl.... please.. Don’t leave me..”
Well shit. That was some convincing. After telling yourself 400 times to break up with him, he convinced you to stay this easily. After cuddling and holding him in your arms to nap, you woke up with your ass pressed against his dick. Yup, he’s hard. You can imagine what y’all did when he woke up.
You love Porco, and he was right. You wanted to build a future with him too. Maybe it’s time.

Idiot (J.JK)
Warnings : swearing, mentions of cheating, mentions of fighting
Synopsis : they were childhood friends, but now they hate each other. so why did he fight her ex for breaking her heart?
Word Count : 1969
I met his eyes after the words left his lips, and I could tell a part of him regretted it, but he stood his ground. All of our friends fell silent as they waited for either one of us to say something. So many things bounced around in my head; so much dirt I could spill about him. But I took the high ground and decided to be the bigger person. “That was low, even for you.” He opened his mouth to say more, but I stormed out of the apartment, deciding it was a Netflix alone kind of night.
“Hi!” A young boy, about my age, greeted me. His smile was bright as he held out his hand for me. I took his hand and introduced myself. “I’m Jeon Jungkook. You just started today, right?” I nodded. “Come play with me then!” He ran away from the school wall I was standing by and towards the playground. I wasted almost no time as I followed behind, excited to make a new friend on my first day at a new school.
I curled up into my bed, looking through the scrapbook Jungkook made me as a graduation present, 1 year before he decided I was the worst thing that ever happened to him. It happened so suddenly, one day we were the best of friends, and the next he avoided everything to do with me. I just wanted to go back to the days where he was the one who protected me.
“Just leave her alone.” As always, Jungkook showed up as a group of guys surrounded my desk. He had stepped in between me and the leader of the group.
“Or what?” He smirked, cocking his head to the side. “You going to make me?” He was instigating and I knew if I didn’t step in, Jungkook was going to do something he’d regret.
“Jungkook, it’s fine. Just sit down.” I reached up and grabbed his wrist. When he turned and met my eyes, the anger quickly disappeared and he did as told, taking the empty seat beside me.
“Ooh little Jungkook takes orders from a girl.” The bully instigated again, causing Jungkook to stand abruptly from the seat he had just taken and grab him by the collar of his shirt.
“You shut your mouth before I knock all your teeth out.” He threatened before throwing him back against the lockers behind our seats. Jungkook turned to sit back down, but the bully jumped him from the lockers, the two of them landing on the floor and going at it, throwing as many punches as they could. The rest of the class stood from the seats and gathered as close as they could without interfering in the fight.
As the two stood and continued to throw punches, I stood from my desk and got in between them, grabbing Jungkook by the shoulders. “Stop fighting, you idiot!” I yelled at him and turned to give the bully a piece of my mind, just as he went to punch Jungkook again, missing and punching me instead. It knocked me off my feet and all I remember is Jungkook screaming my name, picking me up and rushing me to the nurse despite his own injuries.
I smiled at the memory the picture of our matching black eyes brought me. All three of us got expelled that day, and I wasn’t surprised. Mine and Jungkook’s parents on the other hand, were furious. Friends who get expelled together, stay together. Jungkook wrote under the picture, and my heart ached at the thought that we were no longer friends.
“Just leave me alone. You’re nothing but a nuisance.” His words rang through my head, bringing tears to my eyes just as it did the day he said them.
 Jungkook’s Point of View
Before I could say anything else, she was out of the apartment. The guys just looked at me with disapproving stares and shook their heads. “What? She’s just being sensitive. She’ll get over it.” I shrugged my shoulders and went to the balcony for fresh air.
“You fucked up, and I know you know that.” Namjoon said, stepping beside me and leaned on the banister, looking between the night sky and me. “What even happened between you two? You said she used to be your best friend.” I scoffed and looked down to my hands and laughed at the memories of our friendship.
“We just grew apart.” I shrugged, sparing him a quick glance.
“That doesn’t cause this kind of animosity. You know the real reason; you’re just scared to admit it.” With that, he clapped me on the shoulder and went back inside, leaving me alone with my thoughts.
We sat across each other at the library, our books spread out in front of us. Despite taking different majors, we decided to study together as a way to keep up our daily hang outs. I looked up at her as she let out a quiet but very frustrated sigh and threw her pencil onto the table. She brought her feet up and curled up on the chair, wrapping her arms around her legs and placing her head on her knees, pouting at me. She looked so cute, so beautiful, and I couldn’t stop these growing feelings. “Can we stop for today and go get something to eat?” She asked, still pouting at me.
“Let’s go, my treat.” Her face brightened at my answer and she quickly packed all of her study materials into her bag. How is it possible for one person to possess so much cuteness? I took her bag from her before she could sling it over her shoulder and the two of us made our way to our new favourite diner just off campus.
I snapped a picture of her as her face lit up at the food placed in front of her. I smiled at the picture, basking in just how absolutely adorable she is. As we sat across from each other in comfortable silence as we ate, I came to terms with the fact that I was falling in love with my best friend.
I fell in love with her. And I was okay with that fact until Mark came along and stole, then later broke, her heart. I thought I could watch her be happy, but knowing it wasn’t me she loved tore me to pieces and I pushed her away.
I walked into Jin’s place just wanting to raid his fridge for something to eat besides ramen. I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw Y/N crying into Jin’s chest. The smile on my face quickly faded at the sight and I went to sit on the other side of her, but I had to remind myself I pushed her away. I had to keep her at arms length. “Ah, if it isn’t our least favourite drama queen.” I sneered and made my way to the kitchen.
“Not today, Jeon.” Her words were barely coherent, but I knew her, I knew exactly what she said. Jin shut me up as I opened my mouth to say something else.
“Seriously, Jungkook. Today is not the day.” Hearing his aggressive tone, which was very rare coming from Jin, I apologized and made my way out, deciding to go to Namjoon and Yoongi’s place.
“Anyone know what’s going on with Y/N?” I asked as I entered and went right to the fridge.
“Went to Jin’s?” Namjoon asked from the couch. I nodded as I closed the fridge, some leftovers in my hand. “Y/N found Mark with her roommate, in her bed.” The container of food fell from my hands as shock and anger took over my body. “Yoongi, Taehyung, and Jimin went to her dorm to pack up her things. Hoseok is setting up his spare room for her. I was at Jin’s with her, but I too got kicked out.” He updated me on the happenings of our friend group, but I couldn’t calm the anger flooding through my veins.
I stormed out of the place before Namjoon could stop me and went on the hunt for Mark. No way was this piece of shit getting away with what he did.
I looked down to my hands again, my right hand bandaged from the fight I got into with Mark two weeks ago. He had the most beautiful, kind-hearted, caring, smart and funny girl I had ever met, and he threw her away. She’s the kind of girl that always puts her friends first. She even cares about me, even after all I’ve done to her. She’s the girl you bring home to your family, and they end up loving her more than you. But that’s okay because you love her too. She’s the girl you picture your future with. A wedding and a family. Coming home after a long day at work and all your troubles disappear as soon as you see her.
And I looked at her and said Mark cheated on her because she’s annoying. All she asked was why I fought him. I couldn’t tell her, so I ignored her, as impossible as that is. She kept pestering and the words fell from my lips before I could stop them. I regretted them as soon as they were in the air, but I had to stand my ground. “Fuck.” I said to myself.
I stormed back into the apartment and then left out the front door before anyone could say anything. And then I started running. I ran as fast as I could all the way to the apartment she shared with Hoseok. I banged on the door as I caught my breath, yelling her name, not caring about the neighbours hearing me.
“What the fuck, Jeon Jungkook!” She exclaimed as she threw open the door. As soon as I saw her, I couldn’t hold it in anymore. I cupped her face and kissed her. I put in all the feelings I’ve been holding in into the kiss, expecting her to push me off any second, but she didn’t. Slowly, I pulled away from the kiss and brought her into my arms.
“I am so fucking sorry.” I whispered.
“Again I ask, what the fuck, Jeon Jungkook.” She said, a lot calmer than before, as she pulled away from me and looked up at me in confusion.
“He had the girl of my fucking dreams and then had the nerve to toss her away like she was nothing, when she’s my fucking everything. That’s why I fought Mark. He wasn’t getting away with breaking your heart, not on my watch.” I spit out the first thing that came to mind. She crossed her arms over her chest and stared at me.
“You are probably one of the dumbest people I know, Jeon Jungkook.” Her words were harsh, but her tone was soft. “Did you really revert to a child who shows he likes someone by teasing them?” I gave her a shy smile as I casually shrugged my shoulders.
“I didn’t want to see you with Mark.” I admitted and she started hitting me in the chest lightly. I chuckled as I grabbed her hands to stop her and make her look at me. “I’m sorry I’m an idiot. An idiot in love with his best friend.”
“I missed you. You hurt me over and over again. Yet any time anything happened, I wanted to turn to you.” She told me and I apologized again before bringing her in for another hug. “I guess I’m also an idiot who’s in love with her best friend.” She whispered into my chest. I kissed the top of her head and held her tighter, whispering to her that I wasn’t letting her go.

You won't be lonely tonight
"I dumped him." You huffed entering your dorm room. Lizzie your roommate was busy trying on some outfits as she turned towards you.
"What! Really?"
"Yeah I really can't bear one more minute of his clingy ass. He was such a control freak."
"Well good for you only that you finally realized what I was saying to you for weeks."
"Okay which one?" she held out two of her outfits.
"The green one." You point out. "Where are you off to?"
"Don't tell me that you forgot about the Christmas party that the fraternity organized at the club?" Lizzie asked bemused.
"Shit! I totally forgot about that." You slapped your forehead.
"Well that is why we are going for a hunt tonight. Let's find you a new dick shall we?"
"But I have nothing to wear." You pouted. Lizzie instantly threw one of her dresses to your face.
"Wear this and get your ass moving." she snickered.
******
You were soon at the club, the music raving and drinks flowing. It was an open bar for tonight as you ordered yourself a vodka cranberry.
"Is that Daniel?" Lizzie points you at a corner of the club amused. You look in the direction of your ex boyfriend flirting with a brunette.
"Seriously? We had barely broken up for less than two hours and he found himself a girl already!" You scoff.
"Well he moved on really fast." Lizzie giggled.
"Man, I don't want to end up alone on New Year's night." You groaned.
'' Well I guess you are if you don’t find someone fast." She jokes.
" I’m going to get somebody by nightfall." You swore and then a particular boy caught your eyes. Icy blue eyes, golden hair, a well toned muscular body standing right on the other side of the club with a bunch of other guys. Lizzie followed your gaze.
"Isn’t it the guy from english class?"
"Man he looks so fine." You gush as you glanced at the blue eyed boy through the rim of your glass. For a moment your eyes met as you saw the corner of his lips curve to a light smirk. You peel away your eyes turning yourself to the counter smiling to yourself.
"Babe he was totally looking at you." lizzie squealed.
"I know.”you whisper giggling. I think you should leave."
"Really? You sure?"
"Yeah Lizzie I got this." You winked at her mischievously. "The room is all yours for tonight.Go get some girl!" She giggled swaying away to try her own luck with someone. You continued sipping your vodka cranberry. When someone bumped into you.
"Oh sorry, love." You heard in a strong British accent as you turned to look at the blue eyed boy you were ogling at a few seconds ago.
"Can I buy you a drink as an apology for bumping into such a gorgeous girl? His voice was smooth.
"The nice guy approach, huh?" you quirk your eyebrow.
"Okay you got me." he smiled raising his hands in surrender. "Harrison by the way." he held out his hand.
"Well hello Harrison." You shake his hand gently.
"And you are?"
"You gotta earn it, love." You said in a fake British accent making him laugh.
"So can I at least buy the mystery lady a drink?"
"Why don't you buy me a song? This song is literally getting on my nerves."
"Anything for you, darling." He walked away to the dj as he bribed him to change the song.
You grinned at him from where you were standing and as your song started playing you strided to the middle of the dance floor and grooved to the beat swaying your body sensually flipping your hair off your face. Harrison's eyes were only transfixed on you as if you put him in a trance. He finally decided to make a move as he slowly made his way to you.
You were dancing in the middle of the crowd carefree when you felt a pair of broad hands around your waist. You smiled biting your lower lip as Harrison knelt down to your ear.
"Enjoying the song, love?"
"Mmmhm" you nod lightly. He turned you around and your hands flew to his shoulders instinctively.
"You really have beautiful eyes, you know?"
"Thank you and it's Y/N by the way." your eyes shifted behind him to Daniel getting all cosy with that chick. Harrison turned his head to look where you were looking.
"Boyfriend?"
"Ex" you shrug.
"Well maybe show him you are happy too." He gripped on to your waist pulling you closer to him. You gazed into his eyes entranced. His eyes flickered between your eyes and lips leaning in as you met him halfway. The kiss was soft and gentle as you indulged in the feeling of his warm mouth over yours. The kiss grew heated as adrenaline surge coursed through your bodies.
"Shall we continue this somewhere else?" He suggests breaking the kiss breathlessly.
"My roommate will not be coming back for tonight." you smirked mischievously.
*****
As soon as you entered your dorm room Harrison had you pinned against the door as he littered your neck with wet kisses. You could feel heat pooling down between your legs as you bucked your hips to his letting out small whimpers.
"Eager are we?" he smirks hearing your desperate whimpers. He lifts you up and carries you to your bedroom. In no time all your clothes lay discarded on the floor as you lay on the bed with hooded eyes. Harrison spreads your legs apart trailing his slender fingers up and down your inner thighs. The cold metal ring on his finger is a sharp contrast to your warm skin sending shivers right down to your already soaking core.
He knelt down to your heat giving it a sharp lick as you shuddered with the sudden jolt of pleasure. He swirled his tongue around your clit sucking on it gently as he slid a finger inside your cunt pumping it in and out. Your fingers knotted to his hair tugging on to it as you feel your climax approaching. He groans before sliding in a second finger as he increases his pace. You have had sex before with your previous boyfriends but none of them could make you feel this good just by eating you out. Your body tensed up legs trembling at the intense pleasure.
"Cum for me, love." he urged you as the coil inside you snapped and you came undone in seconds. Harrison sits up as he sees your chest rise up and down gasping.
"You good?"
"Couldn't be better." You said breathlessly still in your post orgasmic haze. Harrison crawled up to you and leaned in to kiss you slow and deep giving you a taste of yourself.
"You sure you wanna do this?'' he asks, breaking the kiss.
"Yes Haz."
"Condoms?"
"in the drawer." You point to your night stand. He leans to the drawer and takes one out, tearing the foil he rolls it down his length. He lines himself to your entrance giving in a few pumps before sliding inside you slowly. You gasp at the way he was stretching your walls.
"Shit! So tight." he grunts. He draws his hips back a little before pushing right back in filling you up to the hilt. Your moans encourage him to pick up his pace. He rutted his hips hitting that special spot inside you making your body arch. Your orgasm building for the second time for tonight. You gripped onto his back for dear life nails digging into his smooth skin as he pounded into you relentlessly. You were clenching around him profusely trapping him like vice coaxing his orgasm.
"You're gonna cum, love?" he asks breathless. You were too far gone away to form words as you nodded your head vigorously.
"Then cum for me, fall apart on my cock." he thrust into you a few more times your body pulsated as you came with a loud moan of his name he followed you shortly. His head dropped to the crook of your neck panting. You brushed his hair gently catching your own breath. He pulled out after sometime rolling on to your side whilst you sat up to get off the bed. He instantly grabbed your wrist.
"Hey where are you going?" he asks innocently.
"I need to pee dummy." You giggle. He sits up scratching his head smiling awkwardly.
"Umm I know this is kind of going backwards for us but I really like you. So will you like to go on a date with me?" he asks you with hopeful eyes.
"Will I like? You arch your eyebrows "Well I would love to." You smile capturing his lips.

Little Librarian
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hyunjin hadn’t stepped foot in a library since he was six. He hated reading, he especially hated being forced to read. Now here he was in the campus library looking for a book he had to do a book report about. Normally Hyunjin would skip an assignment like this all together, but his stupid professor went a made it worth 50 percent of his grade. As he walked into the library everyone in the front building did a double take, the Hwang Hyunjin was in the library, what kind of parallel universe were they in. He ignored the stares coming his way and disappeared down an aisle to begin the hunt for his book. In all honesty he had no idea where to look, but it had to be here some where right?
Hyunjin felt like he had been looking for the stupid book for hours, it had been ten minutes. He huffed in annoyance, letting out a long groan. This caught the attention of someone on the next aisle over. “Hi” a small voice chirped out from the end of the aisle. Hyunjin jumped a little, not expecting anyone to come bother him. The person stepped down the aisle and soon stood in front of him. She’s cute, he thought to himself, and had he not been so annoyed with trying to fine this book, he would’ve told her that, give her a smirk that always makes girls fall at his feet.
“Do you need help finding something” "Uh- yeah, I’m looking for Pride and Prejudice.” The girl smiled and nodded, “well you’re kinda on the wrong side of the library. Come on, I’ll show you where it is.” Hyunjin followed, not being able to take his eyes off her. She wasn’t stutter over her words or looking at him as if he hung all the stars in the sky, did she not know who he was? “Here you go” she said as she handed the boy one of many copies of the book. “Thank you” “no problem, this is for Mr.Kin’s class, yeah?” “Yeah- wait are you in his class” “yeah, as much as I love reading, I am not looking forward to this book report” “well I hate reading, so you’re one step ahead of me.” She let out a soft giggle and Hyunjin felt himself smile. Her little giggle was adorable, like- “Y/n, can you put these books away for me,” an older lady’s voice snapped his out of his thoughts. “Yes ma’am, I got it” the girl in front of him replied. Y/n, cute name. “thank you sweetheart.” Y/n nodded and turned back to Hyunjin, “well good luck with your book report” she said before going off to put some books away. Hyunjin stood there for a minute, god she was cute, why didn’t I ask for her number, wait- what if she really doesn’t know who I am, she doesn’t know my name. Hyunjin’s mind would not shut up from the time that he checked out his book to when he got back to his dorm, his thoughts were filled with the cute little librarian that had helped him today.
--- ---
“Yo, why do you have that stupid look on your face” Changbin asked as he sat across from Hyunjin. “My face isn’t stupid” Hyunjin mumbled, not really paying attention to the boy in front of him. Eventually the whole table was filled with his friends, they all had noticed Hyunjin was acting different. “Dude- hello” Jisung waved his hand in front of Hyunjin’s face, making the boy snap out of his daze. He was looking for the girl he had met yesterday, hoping that he could catch her at lunch, but no luck. “What” Hyunjin grumbled as he looked over at his friend. ”Seriously dude, what’s got you all messed up” Hyunjin couldn’t tell them about Y/n, he didn’t need his friends all over her- “This stupid book report for Mr.Kin” -so he lied. Jisung nodded in understanding, seemingly buying it. “I’m not looking forward to that at all- you think I can pay Wonwoo to do it” “Wonwoo would be your ass dude” Minho snorted as he continued eating his food. As Jisung and Minho argued about who would win in a fight, Hyunjin’s mind drifted back to Y/n, why couldn’t he get her out of his head?
--- ---
Walking into Mr.Kin’s class, Y/n took her usual seat in the middle row. Today was just like every other day, except, she couldn’t get this boy out of her head. A boy she’d never seen before yesterday had been flooding her thoughts all day. He was cute, like really cute, and despite not saying much, he seemed nice. She tried to pretend he was like a hot stranger at a store, someone she would never see again- wait, was that him? He leisurely walked into class, hands in his pockets, hair perfectly framing his face. He was with Han Jisung, her roommates ex boyfriend. Quickly diverting her attention, she buried her head into the book she was meant to be reading.
Hyunjin felt eyes on him as soon as he walked in, which wasn’t new to him at all, but something felt different. Ignoring whatever Jisung was saying, he turned to where he felt the eyes on his back- There she was, but she wasn’t looking at him. “- I think she wants to get back with me, for real this time too- hey, dude” Hyunjin wanted so badly to ignore him and go sit next to the little librarian he met yesterday, but knowing his friends, he couldn’t. “Yeah I heard you, and I think you’re crazy, no one would ever want your dumbass back” Hyunjin said as he started making his way to the back of the class. “Hey, don’t be a dick.”
The entire class period, Hyunjin’s eyes were on her, watching the way she wrote so delicately on her paper, watching her play with her hair or pick at her nails. He was so distracted by her, he didn’t even realize class was over until Jisung slapped his back, telling him is was time to go. Hyunjin took one last look in Y/n’s direction, but she was gone. With a heavy sigh, Hyunjin grabbed his stuff and headed out.
--- ---
For the second day in a row Hyunjin walked into the library, this time with a different goal- ask out the little librarian. He made his way down a few different isles, hoping to find her without seeming to obvious. He felt awkward and out of place, he never did things like this. He was always the one being chased, not the one chasing. Why was he chasing? He’d been asking himself that question all day, why was she so special?
His thoughts were cut short when he spotted her small frame making her way down a ladder. Slowly, he walked over to her, leaning up against the book cart as his hand gently reached out to hold the latter still.
She felt his presence as soon as he started walking her way. Something about the vibe he put out was just hard to ignore, he was so interesting to her. After reaching the bottom of the latter, she looked up at him, her head tilted in confusion. “Thank you” “no problem” “so uh- do you need help” “kind of” “why don’t you tell me what you need and maybe I can help you out” she said as she leaned up against the ladder, still looking up at him. He felt his heart flutter at her response, something about her man. “Well, I was hoping you’d let me take you out” “a strange man asking me out on a date, I don’t know” she joked. She was trying to play it cool, but she couldn’t deny the butterflies in the stomach when he smiled at her. “I’m not strange” “how do I know that though, I don’t even know your name.” Hyunjin tried to hold back his surprise at her response, she really didn’t know who he was. Something about that was so refreshing. “I’m Hyunjin” “nice to meet you Hyunjin, I’m Y/n” “so...” “so... I’ll think about it” “oh come on.” Hyunjin all but whined, his body subconsciously moving closer as he pouted down at her. “We can go to a cafe on campus until you decided if you trust me or night.” She thought about it, he was really trying, and he was being considerate- something her pervious boyfriends weren’t. Biting her lip gently, she looked up into his hopeful eyes and nodded, “fine, I’ll go out with you.” “Yes” he cheered, doing the little air punch thingy which made Y/n giggle. However, the head librarian didn’t find it so funny, shushing the boy with a scowl on her face. He mumbled a quickly apology before looking back at Y/n, who had the most adorable smile on her face, at least he thought so. “Give me your number”
--   --
Today was the day of their date, a Saturday, the one day Y/n didn’t have work. Y/n was actually excited, she hadn’t been on a date in a long time, it also helped that her date was extremely handsome and from what she could tell so far, nice. As she got ready, her roommate, Soojin, came in, bugging her and asking her about all the details. “Who is he” “Where are you going” “is he cute” all the standard questions you ask when a friend has a date. “Hwang Hyunjin- You’re going out with him?” “Yes? What’s wrong with him” “he’s Jisung’s friend, all of Jisungs friends are assholes” “I don’t know, he’s nice” “Y/n, I love you, but none of those guys are nice. They only want one thing” Y/n sighed, shaking her head lightly. One day, she just wanted one day where she wasn’t constantly reminded of how shitty men could be. She knew, god she knew. But Hyunjin seemed genuinely nice, she wanted to just forget about everything she knew men could be and just give him a shot. “I’m saying this cause I want you to be careful, not because I don’t want you to have fun. You just trust people to easily” “I know, but I’d rather see the good in people rather than the bad, it makes life so... gruesome” “look at you, using your big girl words” Soojin teased as she poked Y/n’s cheek. Y/n just giggled, pushing her hand away and continued to get ready.
Hyunjin sat at the cafe, waiting for Y/n to show up. He was nervous, genuinely nervous, and he had no clue why. He can’t remember the last time he was nervous like this and he didn’t like it. His stomach was in knots, his palms were sweaty, what if she didn’t show? Hyunjin’s mind would not shut up. Until she walked in. His eyes landed on her and all nerves dissipated into nothing. The way her face lit up when she saw him made his heart melt, it even brought a smile to his own face.
“Hey, I ordered you a hot chocolate... cause I remembered you saying that you didn’t really like coffee when we were texting- I hope that’s okay” Hyunjin wanted to throw himself under a bridge, he felt like a complete idiot rambling like this, but he quite literally couldn’t help it. Y/n on the other hand, she felt like her heart was going to explode, as small as it may have been, no one ever remembered small things about her, her likes and dislikes, it was endearing. “That’s perfect actually” she reassured him with a smile. Y/n took a seat across from Hyunjin, the two of them falling into natural conversation. It shocked the both of them how easily they could talk to each other and not run out of things to say.
By the time the drinks arrived, the two were talking about class and the book report. “I haven’t even started reading the book” he admitted sheepishly while rubbing the back of his neck. “Maybe we could read it together” she suggested, this caught Hyunjin of guard. She wanted to see him again? This had never shocked him before when it was literally anyone else, but something about her wanting to spend more time with him made him really happy. “Really, aren’t you like, halfway done with it” “nope” she lied. She had already finished it, but she wasn’t about to tell him that. She wanted to spend more time with him, even if it was for some dumb book report. “so what, we’re just gonna read to each other” “I mean, we could.” God, she literally could not get more perfect.
The continued talking until they finished their drinks, neither of them wanted to leave just yet, but they knew they’d be kicked out soon if they weren’t drinking or eating anything. Hyunjin sat there for a good minute, just staring at his lap while he worked up the courage to ask, “can I walk you home?” Did that actually come out of his mouth? Why did he sound like that- “I’d love that.”
The walk was silent for a good portion of it, hands awkwardly dangling beside one another incase on of them got the courage to hold the others hand. “So, why the library” “what do you mean” “I mean, there’s so many places to work around here” “well, I don’t really like the chaos of the shops around here, it’s kinda overwhelming. The library is nice and quite- I don’t know I guess I just prefer things lowkey.” Hyunjin nodded, not completely understanding, and Y/n laughed to herself, “what” he asked, “you think I’m some weird loner” “No- no I just- I parties and chaos, so I guess I just kinda don’t under stand” Y/n nodded, s small ‘ah’ leaving her lips. “What, now you you think I’m a stereotypical frat boy” “just a little.” Hyunjin rolled his eyes playfully, trying to suppress a smile when he heard her laugh.
A few more minutes of walking and they had finally arrived at Y/n’s apartment. The two of them just stood there for a moment, not really wanting to leave one another. It was easy between them so far, how the conversation flowed, how easy it was to poke fun at one another. “Um- thank you for today” “no problem, I had a lot of fun” “me too” “we still on to study together” he asked, he took a small step towards her as she nodded, his heart picking up when he looked into her eyes and saw the way the sparkled  as they met his. “You’re beautiful” he whispered out, shocking Y/n. “wha-” “Can I kiss you?” Y/n’s body seemed to have a mind of it’s own before she was nodding her head without a second thought. His lips planted on hers, giving a small, gentle kiss, but it wasn’t enough. As soon as they parted, the two looked in eachother’s eyes and before they knew it their lips where connected once more. This kiss was much more passionate, but it was also just as gentle and sweet as the first one. Y/n had her hands on his chest while his hands cupped her face to pull her closer. The kiss gave both of them this comfort and odd sense of familiarity. Hyunjin was addicted to her lips, so much so he didn’t even want to come up for air, but he did. The two broke away from the kiss and Hyunjin looked down at Y/n, her eyes stilled closed and her lips swollen, a blissed out look on her face made his heart swell. He wanted to see her like this all the time.
--   --
The next few days were filled with text and facetime calls, calls that Y/n’s roommate often complained about. Hyunjin felt himself falling hard and it scared him. He’d never actually seen a relationship work out, his parents are divorced, along with his aunt and uncles, and his friends would rather be apart of hookup culture than actually try to commit to anything and somewhere along the way Hyunjin fell into that too. But he really liked Y/n, and he wanted to try to make things work despite how scary it was.
He walked into class with Jisung liked he usually did. This time his eyes scanning around the room for Y/n, and he wasn’t even going to try to hide it. When he saw her a large smile took over his face, “what’s with your face” Jisung asked and Hyunjin simply ignored him, making his way over to Y/n. “This seat taken?” Y/n looked up and a smiled busted out across her face, “I don’t know, I’m kinda saving it for this guy” “really? Well he’ll get over it.” Y/n laughed as Hyunjin quickly plopped down into the seat next to her, turning to face her with a smile once her was situated. “You’re ridiculous” “you obviously like that though.” Jisung stood there for a minute, confused as to why he just got left alone. He looked at Hyunjin and then to you. “What? When did this happen” he mumbled to himself as he made his way to his seat.
When class was over Hyunjin was ready to walk Y/n to her next class, but JIsung’s hand on his shoulder stopped him. “Thanks for leaving me today man” “anytime” Hyunjin replied back with a sarcastic smile. “Anyways, hi Y/n, when did you and Hyunjinnie here start hooking up” “hm?” Hyunjin looked at Jisung and prayed to whatever there was above to get him to shut up. “Ah you haven’t gotten there yet, my bad” “I’m sorry, I’m confused?” Hyunjin grabbed the back of Jisungs neck and puleld him away from Y/n, “dude, stop talking.” “What man, you expect me to believe that the Hwang Hyunjin has finally decided to settle down? Not a chance.” Y/n nodded to herself, remembering the words Soojin had told her before she went on her date with Hyunjin. “none of those guys are nice. They only want one thing” “right” she mumbled to herself walking away unnoticed while Hyunjin was trying to get Jisung to shut up. “Seriously, you’re acting like you actually like her” “did you ever stop to think that maybe I do?” Jisung just looked at Hyunjin confused, what the hell was he talking about? “Seriously?” “Yes dipshit, seriously” “why didn’t you say anything” “cause I knew one of you guys would do something like this.” Jisung, suddenly feeling bad, turned to apologize, “Y/n I- well shit” Hyunjin turned to where Y/n was just standing and his heart dropped. “Hyunjin I’m so sorry-” “just- shut up right now okay?” Hyunjin quickly pulled out his phone to text Y/n.
-- --
Three days later and Hyunjin still hadn’t heard anything from Y/n, he had half the mind to go over to her house if Seungmin hadn’t stopped him and told him to think. “Do you really think she wants to see you right now?” No, of course she didn’t, but how was he just supposed to sit there knowing that you were in your head thinking the worst of him.
Y/n sat in her room for those three days, trying to figure why is hurt so bad. She had only been talking to him for a little over a week, it should hurt this bad. Soojin tried to comfort her but her comfort was “I told you he wasn’t good enough for you.” Yeah that really didn’t help. The amount of times she had typed a message to him and deleted it was insane. The only thing that kept her mind off of it was school, work didn’t help much seeing it was the place she met him. “You just trust people to easily” Why? After everything she had been through how could she still trust people with such ease? Y/n didn’t want to be this little girl people could walk all over, but she didn’t want to shut everyone out either. But she was so tired of hurting. Her phone went off, snapping her out of her thoughts. She grabbed it and saw Hyunjin’s name on the screen. Why hadn’t she blocked him yet? She couldn’t bring herself to do it, she wanted an explanation from him, she just wasn’t ready.
Hyunjin threw his phone onto his bed after he had been sent to voicemail again. “Fuck this shit” he mumbled. He quickly stood up, tossing on a jacket and shoes. “Where are you going” “Y/n’s place” “Hyunjin-” “shut up” was all he said as he let the door slam behind him. Why was he going to listen to them, they had never been in serious relationship, he was pretty sure none of them have even had feelings for a girl. So he was going to do this his way, and he was going to get Y/n back.
“She doesn’t want to see you” Soojin said as soon as she saw Hyunjin at the door. “Soojin- Soojin wait! Five minutes, that’s all I need, please let me talk to her.” Maybe it was his pleading tone or his disheveled appearance or maybe even a small hope that he could make things better, but she let him in. “Five minutes” she stated, “thank you.”
A knock on Y/n’s door had her groaning, she was not in the mood for another movie night with Soojin. “Go away” she called out as she buried her head in her pillow, “I can’t do that.” Y/n’s head snapped up as she turned toward her door. “What are you doing here” she asked cautiously as she sat up. “I want to talk to you” “I don’t want to talk to you” “I deserve that, but please, let me explain.” All she did was nod, she knew that if she talked anymore that her voice would crack and tears would start flowing again. “Y/n I like you, like a lot. And before you say I dont- I do. I’ve never been in a relationship before, so I don’t know how that shit works, and to be honest it scares the hell out of me. But I was ready to try to figure it out with you.” “But Jisung-” “Jisung has no idea what he’s talking about- if I was just trying hook up with you, would I be here right now, trying to get you to forgive me.” Y/n looked up at him, tears in her eyes as she sniffled, “depends on how determined you are” she joked, letting out a soft laugh. Hyunjin just shook his head and pulled her into his check, “you are something else you know that.” He whispered as he held her tightly.
“Hyunjin” “hm?” “I need you to promise me one thing” “anything” “if we do decided to give us a shot, we need to talk to eachother- I know I’m one to talk but... please, I don’t want to go through this again.” Hyunjin pulled back, holding Y/n’s face in his hands as he spoke, “I can promise that and if you give me a chance, I will never do anything to hurt you- ever.” Y/n nodded, quickly burring herself into his chest, the intensity in his eyes making her face heat up. “I like you too” she mumbled into his chest.

<< Part 3 || Part 5 >>
"Does she do that often?" Klaus asked as he watched Y/N bite on the nail of her thumb and paced the open space of their dorm.
Caroline's head tilted as she watched Y/N. "No this is new. She usually paints when she's freaking out. This, I've never seen before."
"Come on, Y/N found out so much last night. I wouldn't expect anything less." Elena said as she plopped down on her bed.
"Can we stop speaking as if I'm not here?" Y/N asked as she looked at the others. She hadn't stopped pacing though. Her mind was reeling and she wasn't sure how to process it. Everything played on an endless loop and it just wouldn't stop.
"Your brother?!" Y/N asked with wide eyes as she looked at Klaus.
Destiny had a strange way of doing this. It took Caroline meeting Klaus in person for her to even learn anything about her soulmate.
"Here I'll prove it to you." He said as he pulled out his phone and began typing away. As soon as he placed it on the table for them to read the message, the girls and Marcel leaned in quickly to take a look.
So Katherine tried giving you her number again
Instinctively, Y/N looked at her palm. It was the very name that had been written on her palm along with the number. Was it really that small of a world?
The sound of the phone vibrating on the table pulled her eyes back to the phone, her eyes scanning over the message just as the others did.
How do you know that? I thought you were in Richmond.
Klaus smirked at the message. "Does he know about your showing?" He asked looking at Y/N.
She nodded her head slowly. "He said that he wouldn't miss it. That is what he signed with E."
He nodded as he picked up the phone and quickly typed out a few more messages before putting it down, allowing the others to see it.
Because I watched as Katherine's name and number appeared on a new friend of mine.
A lovely artist who is excited about her showing at Richmond Gallery Next week and that you'll be attending.
Y/N's heartbeat picked up at reading the messages. While only seconds had passed since the messages had been sent, she was anxious to see whatever the next message would be.
After a minute, the new text appeared on the screen.
You are with her?
Caroline chuckled. "He seems a bit skeptical about it."
"I don't blame him." Marcel said. "Especially with what happened with his ex, even I'd- ouch."
Klaus rolled his eyes. He had smacked the back of Marcel's head. That wasn't exactly something that Y/N needed to hear at that moment. He turned his attention back to Y/N who had been biting down on her bottom lip.
"May I?" He asked as he reached for her hand.
Y/N raised her eyebrow, but lifted her hand up for Klaus to take. Klaus took her hand and turned it over. As he did, he pulled the pen out of Marcel's shirt pocket and began drawing on Y/N's wrist.
"Love, can you text him back and tell him to check his wrist." He said to Caroline while never taking his eyes off what he was doing.
Y/N watched as she quickly typed out the message before placing it back down. Her eyes moved back to the drawing Klaus had been doing. It was something she knew she had never seen before in her life. But for some reason that she couldn't explain, it had felt familiar.
"What is that?" She asked.
Klaus looked up at her for a moment with a grin. "It's our family's crest."
“Are you alright, Y/N?” Elena asked watching as Y/N shook her head to try and remove the memory from being at the front of her runaway thoughts.
“Yeah.” She said with a sigh. “I'm just nervous."
"He asked you out to dinner, not to elope." Caroline noted as if it had been no big deal.
"Coming from someone who has had constant contact with your soulmate.” Y/N said shaking her head before giving Klaus a small smile. “I get that we have just met and that he is your brother, but my head is spinning in a way I didn’t think possible.”
Even after the initial shock of the night before, It seemed that Elijah was now making the effort to get to know her. There were a few questions here and there on her skin that she’d happily answer. At least that was until she had fallen asleep and woke up with his number on her wrist.
At first she was hesitant to text him. After all that time of wondering who was on the other side of the connection, she finally knew. But there she was with her thumbs hovering over the keyboard to her phone as she debated on what she should say.
It took her almost an hour to even type out her message. A simple one of stating that it was even her. From there the messages had quickly picked up. Most of it carrying on from their conversation the night before. At least that was until Elijah had told her he needed to attend a series of meetings at work, but would love to meet her for dinner tomorrow night.
It’s been two hours and she still hasn’t responded to the message. Anxiety was filling her with every passing minute and she didn’t know how to respond. Her roommates and Klaus had come back with breakfast and found Y/N just as she was.
“I don’t blame you. My brother has had a rough go of things.” Klaus noted. “Though he is an idiot for taking this long to actually speak with you. My sisters must be having a field day."
"I take it your sisters have been pushing him to this?" There was worry in Y/N's words. The thoughts that followed the simple question had played through her head like a never ending parade.
What if he didn't really want to do this? What if he had only been doing this to please his siblings? What if she wasn't what he wanted or needed for that matter?
"Elijah doesn't do anything he doesn't want to. You have nothing to worry about." Klaus said, hoping to ease Y/N in some way. He could practically see the runaway train.
"Look, Y/N." Elena said as she got up from her seat and walked over to her. "You two are meant to be together. Tomorrow night will be good for the both of you. It doesn't hurt to have one dinner date.
“Elena’s right.” Caroline added. “From what Klaus has told me, you both need this. And it wouldn’t hurt to get to know the man before your Gallery showing.”
Y/N nodded and took a deep breath trying to calm herself a little more. "You guys are right.”
She knew that if she had put it off any longer it would make her go crazy on the night of the showing. If she had met and gotten to know Elijah before then it would make for a night for them to enjoy. Not a night of possible awkward conversation in order to get to know each other.
Without any other thought to make her back out, she pulled out her phone and sent Elijah a quick text.
I’d love that. Anywhere specific in mind?
_________
“I thought we were done with meetings for the day. “Finn said as he sat down in his normal chair in the conference room. Elijah sat on the left of Finn while Freya had been standing off to the side.
“Apparently our father would like for us to take on a new case.” Freya clarified as she handed a copy of the file to each of her brothers. “It’s nowhere in our normal practice, but we’ve all handled a case or two like this.
As Elijah opened the file, his eyes widened as he took in the information. “Please tell me you’re joking.” He said as he looked up at his sister.
“Afraid not.” She replied with a shrug.
“Lucien Castle.” Finn said as he read from the file. “That’s one hell of a crime he is being convicted of.”
“It wouldn’t be an easy task, but we may be able to pull it off.” Elijah said as his eyes continued to scan over the file. “There is a lack of evidence in several spaces. We might be able to turn this in our favor.”
“There is another thing I should mention before you get completely excited about this being a possible win for us.” Freya said as she looked between the two. She sighed softly as she sat on the table across from them. “The District Attorney is Greta Sienna.”
Finn tossed the file on the table and leaned back in his seat. “I do hope the both of you don’t have plans for later this evening. If Greta is the DA, there is a lot of work we’ll have on our hands. She won’t take this lightly and if our father is asking us to take this on, it’s not just business, this is personal.”
“I’ll make some calls and get everything we need.” Freya said as she stood up and moved to leave the room.
At that second, Elijah’s phone went off with a text message. A small smile pulled on his lips at the sight of the name on the screen. He hadn't even seen the message yet.
I'd love that. Anywhere specific in mind?
Elijah would have hardly believed it himself if he hadn't felt the way his heart sped up at the words. While he and Y/N had been texting for quite a while and he had been enjoying the conversation, he had been skeptical about how this was going to go.
But reading the message had made the stress of the day fade so easily. His thumb hovered over the keyboard for a moment before typing out his message.
I may have somewhere in mind. Though you won’t know until we get there.
"I do believe that is the first time I've seen you grin like that while texting in a while." Finn said as he observed his brother. "I take it you've been speaking with Y/N."
It had been a while since Finn, or any of the other siblings, had seen Elijah smile as he had been at that moment. After Celeste left Elijah, Finn and the rest of his siblings had tried as much as they could to cheer up Elijah. But as Finn had expected after a break up such as what Elijah had experienced, he just wanted to be left alone and not for his siblings to mettle as they had been.
Elijah chuckled and placed the phone down. “It’s strange. I’ve been fighting this for so long. I didn’t expect it to be so...easy.”
A small smirk pulled at Finn’s lips. “If I’m not mistaken, the point of the universe giving us a soulmate is to give us the best chance we have at love.”
Elijah rolled his eyes. He had heard that exact saying from his mother his whole life. The whole Mikaelson clan had heard their mother talk about how their soulmate connection worked. How they’d be able to find them easily, but it would be a lot of work in getting to know them and keeping them in their life.
Having Celeste in his life had clouded that from him. He truly believed that even though he had a soulmate out there in the world that he and Celeste would be able to make things work. Plenty of people had lived their life without ever meeting their soulmate. They loved someone else and things had worked out. Elijah had hoped that would be the case for them. But he had been proven wrong.
“How is Sage?” Elijah asked, attempting to change the subject.
“She’s wonderful.” Finn said with a grin growing on his lips. “Even though the honeymoon has been over, it definitely doesn’t feel that way. She was definitely worth the wait.”
Elijah’s phone went off again and he had been quick to reach for it. It caused Finn to chuckle at the sight. “Say another word and I’ll leave you and Freya to do all the preliminary work.” Finn put his hands up in surrender before going back to the file in front of him.
How is that fair?!
Again the message had brought the smile back to his face. At least that was until the next message came in.
Klaus said if you hate surprises you shouldn’t torment me with one.
It had actually made Elijah wonder why Klaus was still around Y/N. Had Caroline and Y/N been that attached to the hip that his brother would be feeding her unnecessary things?
If my brother knows what’s good for him, he’ll keep things to himself. Wouldn’t want me to spill secrets to Caroline.
There had been an instant reply.
Oh, do tell. Caroline would love all the secrets.
I’ll take the surprise and I’ll be fine. Can I at least know how to dress?
He thought for a moment. He hadn’t even really thought of where he wanted to take her for dinner yet. He had a few places in mind, but he hadn’t picked where just yet. There were several restaurants that passed his mind in that second. But none of them had felt right.
At least that was until another place came into mind. He quickly typed out his message. Just as he hit send, Freya came back in with a stack of files and placed them on the table.
“This isn’t even half of it.” She mentioned as she spread them out.
“We really are going to be here all night.” Elijah said as he ran his hand down his face.
With that, the siblings began the process of going through the police reports and other things to find a way to ensure they could do their best to prove Lucien’s innocence and go up against their least favorite person, who was making the case against them.

Hi if you’re taking requests plz consider this! Carol x girl bff are roomates in uni, and they totally act like a married couple and everyone can see that except them who are in love but just thing the other person is overly affectionate and flirtatious cuz they both think the other is straight. Things they do which they think is normal: (cuddle / sleep in the same bed , excuse they use the other bed for storage/carol puts her hand on the reader’s thigh in the car/ they peck on the cheek/ flirt)
Tumblr media
Glamour Girl (1)
Carol Danvers (Captain Marvel Masterlist)
Series Masterlist
A/N: I’ve actually gotten a lot of UNI requests recently ngl, but like here you go.
“Carol, I really don’t want to go!” You whined, flopping down angrily on the couch of your share dorm.
There was a frat party Carol wanted to go to, but she refused to go without you. You on the other hand, loved parties but there were people you absolutely hated at this party, and you’d had a shit day.
“Please?” Carol begged, moving to stand in front of you before standing on her knees, looking up at you with puppy eyes, short hair falling into her face.
“You’re begging?” You asked with a raised eyebrow, Carol nodded, clasping her hands together, holding back a smirk the best she could. Both of you knew this always worked on you.
“This is the last time your puppy eyes are working on me.” You stated, getting off the couch as Carol grinned at you, jumping up and hugging you from behind, pressing her face into your back.
“Thank you y/n/n.” She squealed, she was stronger than you but she allowed you to practically drag her into the main bedroom, the other one had too many things neither of you used in it.
You grumbled something and started picking out an outfit for the party, per Carol’s request, you picked one out for her too, telling her to get ready in the storage room while you got changed. Carol had whined until you’d finally picked out matching outfits, you were wearing a fav/color v neck top with thin gold stripes and a black denim skirt with a belt and black killer boots. Carol wore a similar colored tank top tucked into black ripped jeans and black vans.
“Ready?” She asked, you nodded, tucking your phone in the back pocket of your skirt and trying not to stare at Carol.
While walking out the dorm doors, Carol gently linked her finger with yours, slowly moving to hold your hand while walking to her mustang, you couldn’t help the blush that was creeping onto your face. Carol had been your best friend and roommate for years now, you loved her and she loved you.  But you still couldn’t help the butterflies in your stomach whenever she smiled at you.
“You look really great by the way.” You stated as Carol opened the door for you, she smirked and closed the door before sliding into the driver’s seat.
“Not so bad yourself y/l/n.” She commented, revving up the car and grinning at the loud sound it made.
“Watch it Danvers.” You joked, she laughed and you swore your stomach exploded in butterflies, switching on the radio.
Glamour Girl by Rodney Hunter started playing and you couldn’t help but grin at Carol, this was the song which played at the party when you two first met, you danced to this song and talked for hours before you revealed you didn’t have a dorm yet, Carol could barely help herself when she offered her place for you to move in to. You couldn’t agree fast enough.
You started humming to the song, looking out the window as Carol drove, she smiled softly at you and rested one hand on your knee comfortably, you glanced at her, seeing her soft smile before turning back to the window, trying not to pay attention to how warm her hand was.
When your favorite part of the song you had to sing to it, trying your best to ignore Carol’s thumb stroking your knee and facing her while belting out the lyrics to the song.
‘You’re looking good to me tonight.’ You sang practically into Carol’s ear, she laughed and continued singing the rest of the song with you, sighing when she had to get out of the car to go inside.
“I don’t think you wanted to come to this party either.” You commented, opening the door yourself as Carol got out, she shrugged and started walking inside, you followed her, moving closer when you heard someone throw up to the left of you.
“Well this should be fun.” Carol hoped, you raised an eyebrow and turned to face her.
“I miss my bed already.” You whined, Carol laughed and threw an arm around your shoulders, you shuffled towards her a little more when you saw she was going to open the door.
“I think you mean our bed.” She whispered in your ear, treasuring your shiver at feeling her breath on your ear before walking in, the smell of alcohol and sweat invaded your senses, you wrinkled your nose as Carol pulled you inside, heading towards your shared group of friends.
“I see you brought a date Carol.” Natasha winked at her, sipping some blue drink in a red Solo cup.
“We aren’t dating.” You said, the words rolling off your tongue like the past 100 times you’ve said them
“Right, they are married, Nat.” Clint said, throwing an arm over Nat’s shoulders and mocking Carol who rolled her eyes and took a drink, offering you one and taking her arm off your shoulders, still staying close to you.
Another hour or so went by with talking and drinking, you had a few more drinks than you had intended to, the atmosphere of the party getting to you a little. Carol wasn’t nearly drunk enough yet, so she pulled you into the kitchen where it was a bit quieter, both of you leaned back against the counter, Carol scooched towards you when someone puked in the sink she was right next to.
“You two definitely should date.” Tony stated, walking into the kitchen with his arm around Pepper’s waist.
You rolled your eyes and groaned, burying your face in Carol’s neck as she held back a laugh, answering for you as Tony playfully teased you about how you two looked like a married couple. He even offered both of you jobs in his Dad’s company, which honestly you were considering.
“Honestly, you should think about it.” Pepper said, talking with Tony for some time more before disappearing into the rest of the crowd.
“That guy keeps staring at you.” Carol said, trying to play it smooth by reaching behind you to get another drink, pretending she hadn’t just whispered to you.
“I noticed, isn’t he one of your exes?,” You asked, biting your lip a little, trying to ignore Carol invading your personal space, she nodded and turned around.
He had been a genuine asshole, so she’d broken up with him. The only reason she had dated him in the first place was because he had seemed similar to you, he quickly proved her wrong. Dating him would  be one of her biggest mistakes, it made you think she was straight.
“I winked at him a while back.” You slurred with a playful grin.
“Well, go dance then.” Carol said stiffly, leaning back against the counter and looking at you with a hard expression, even in your half drunken state you could see she didn’t want you to leave.
“The only person I want to dance with is you.” You said, grinning at her and grabbing her wrist, dragging her to the center of the dance floor as the same song came on.
‘Ladies and gentlemen, it’s about that time’
You’re looking good to me tonight’
You grinned and started dancing with Carol, the alcohol you had before giving you a bit more courage than you usually had. Carol loved it, she danced with you, glaring at a few people who even dared get close to you, the guy who had been staring at you came to the two of you, offering his hand for you to dance with him, you looked up at Carol, saw her jealousy and waved him off.
“You could’ve gone with him.” Carol shouted, just loud enough for you to hear.
“Did I want to leave my best girl?” You asked, then answered your own question. “No.”
Butterflies erupted in both you and Carol’s stomach at the statement, you moved to dance a little closer to her as the dance floor got more crowded. The DJ somehow made the song into a slow dance song, but it still sounded amazing. Carol took your hand and twirled you around, your back facing her chest as her arms slid around your waist comfortably.
“I was thinking,” Carol said aloud, mouth right next to your ear so you could practically feel the vibrations from her voice.
“Tony might be right about something for once.” She stated, hesitating at saying it as she swayed slowly with you, you frowned.
“We should work for him?” You asked, sliding your hands to hold Carol’s around your waist, unsure of what to do as you continued swaying with her.
“No,” Carol laughed before continuing, breaking contact to briefly twirl you, smiling at each other before pulling you back in. “I think we should, I mean if you want to we could date.”
“Are you asking me out Danvers?” You asked, smirking and turning around in Carol’s arms, wrapping your hands around her neck, noses touching softly.
“Maybe I am y/l/n.” She smiled nervously, you giggled and nodded, shuffling closer to Carol so you could feel a little warmer.
“Then maybe I will date you, but first,” You pulled away, eyes sleepily opening and closing as you looked up at the blonde. “Take me home?”
“Anything for you y/n/n.” Carol laughed, breaking apart and offering you her arm, which you ignored and instead snuggled into her side, Carol giggled again and started walking you out, waving a last goodbye to the group before leading you into the car.
The car ride home was fairly quiet, you were too drunk to say anything or have any sensible conversation, Carol was too happy and shocked you’d agreed to go out with her. Once you got home, Carol turned to find you asleep, a peaceful smile on your face as your head rested against the window.
She laughed lightly and got out of her seat, moving to your side and opening the door, catching you instantly so you wouldn’t wake up. Carol gently unbuckled the seatbelt and slid one arm under your knees, her forearm touching the skin on the back of your knees was enough to fluster her as she slid another arm underneath your shoulders.
Once you were safe in her arms, she kicked the door closed and locked the car, keys in one hand as her arms carried you into your dorm, thankful she had picked the ground floor dorm. Opening the door was a struggle, but she eventually managed it, opening the door to the dorm.
She carried you onto the shared bed, hoping you would wake up so she wouldn’t have to help you change. She quickly went into her room and changed into a sweatshirt and some sweatpants, realizing the sweatshirt was yours after she had put it on.
When she came back into your shared room she found you sitting cross legged, looking around with tears in your eyes, Carol panicked and instantly moved in front of you, kneeling in front of you and her hands on your knees.
“What’s wrong?” She asked softly, reaching up to move your face so your eyes would meet hers, confusion increasing when your face lit up instantly when you saw her.
“I thought you’d moved out and I was alone.” You answered, grinning at her as she laughed, getting up and kissing the crown of your hair gently.
“You’re not alone y/n.” She said, reaching into the closet and taking out another pair of sweatpants and a hoodie, having no idea who owned it at this point.
“Here.” She handed you the clothes, you squinted at them and then started taking your shirt off, Carol’s eyes widened and she turned away instantly, a blush on her face as she heard you struggle to take it off.
“Carol.” You whined, Carol turned around to find your arm coming out of the neck hole and your head in the sleeve.
“Man you really are a lightweight.” She said, laughing and trying not the stare at the exposed skin and struggling a little to get your shirt on correctly.
“Thank you.” You exclaimed happily, reaching down to take the skirt off, Carol turned around again, this time not hearing you struggle.
After a minute, Carol was about to turn around when you threw yourself at her back, arms quickly wrapping around her waist as your face pressed into the middle of her back.
“Come to bed with me.” You whined into her back.
Carol laughed at your drunken state and took your arms off her, smiling while she moved you so your head was on the pillow. You pouted at her until she moved into her side of the bed, you snuggled into her instantly, resting your head over her chest and wrapping your arm lazily around her waist.
“You’re cuddly when you’re drunk.” Carol commented, trying to ignore the blush on her face while she moved her arm to play with your hair.
“Don’t you dare tell anyone Danvers.” You slurred, eyes sleepily starting to close as Carol chuckled lightly, fingers twirling strands of your hair in her fingers.
“I won’t.” She stated, feeling you snuggle into her more as butterflies erupted in her stomach.
“I love you.” You murmured, seconds away from sleep, Carol’s heart skipped a beat as it always did when you said those words.
“I love you too.” Carol whispered, kissing the top of your head, meaning every word she said. She knew you would forget half of what you two shared in the morning, but Carol would have so much fun teasing you, she looked forward to the date more than anything though, she looked forward to spending the rest of her time with you.

music to my ears (2)
akaashi keiji x reader, college au
Tumblr media
You stared down at your phone, surprised to hear from your newest acquaintance. Akaashi Keiji was easily the prettiest boy you’d ever met, and you felt your stomach flutter at the idea of going on a date with him.
“Good morning, Y/N. How’re you feeling today?” “Great, thanks!” You’d bought the new sheets, and it had worked wonders. Combined with some ointment and a benadryl, the swelling and rashes had gone down quickly. A quiet beeping on your watch reminded you that your lecture was in half an hour.
“I’m heading out, Yacchan. I’ll be in the practice room after, so I won’t be back until noon.”
“See you soon!”
You headed out, violin case in hand. Your lecture was for English, which was one of your favorite subjects. Not to mention you were reading Pride and Prejudice, which was one of your favorite Western books.
As you walked across campus, you felt a hand on your shoulder. You spun to see who it was, and your face fell.
“What do you want, Kuroo?” “Kuroo? Formal. What happened to Tetsu-” “Tetsurou was my friend. You’re just an immature asshole.” “Ouch.” “I have to get to class. What is it?” “He asks about you every day. Did you block him?” “Yeah, of course.” “Damn. That’s cold.” “You know what was cold, Kuroo? Him sleeping around with anything that had a vagina. I’m not getting back with that dickhead, so tell him that it’s over. It’s always been over.” He sighed, and before he could say anything else you turned and walked away.
_______
You thought about it during your entire class. Akaashi was very kind and respectful from what you’d seen, not to mention that he was gorgeous. It would be nice to get to know him a little better.
After class, you went into a practice room. You had it reserved for Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at ten forty five until eleven thirty, and it was a nice one with a piano. You warmed up before moving on to your assigned pieces, beginning with part of Amy Beach’s Sonata.
On off days you practiced in one of the public ones, but those rooms were smaller and not as soundproofed. You spent an entire practice session trying to drown out the noises of a squeaky ass alto sax playing careless whisper.
Your fingers danced across the strings as your mind drifted away. Every time you played, you got sucked into another world, a world away from ex friends and toxic masculinity and itchy dryer sheets, a world where there were only gorgeous boys with a lyral allergy that asked you out to coffee.
As the timer ticked its final minutes away, buzzing once your time was up, you finished the piece. Scales and warmups were boring, just a way to get your fingers used to the feeling of playing, as if you could ever forget. But when you played a piece that you loved, it felt amazing.
You packed up, shutting the case and putting the sheet music back into your folder. A million thoughts raced through your head as you tried to put your mind in order. Being organized wasn’t your thing.
You had a baroque workshop at one, and then at four an art history presentation. You decided to get some quick lunch, but before that you realized that in your haste to make it to class and in your anger at seeing Kuroo again, you had forgotten to actually respond to Akaashi.

________________
You drummed your fingers on the table lightly, waiting for him to show up. It was about twelve, and you only had a short time to get to know him.
“Hello, L/N-san.” “Oh, hey Akaashi-san.” He sat across from you, and you blushed slightly under his gaze. Why was he so freaking pretty??
“So, what’s your major? You mentioned a workshop.” “It’s music theory and composition.” “You play an instrument?” “Yeah, violin. I can also play the piano and flute, but the violin is my favorite.” “I see. I’m not very talented with music, but I love to write.” “Are you a literature major then?” “Yes.” “Sounds fun. What do you like to read?” “All kinds of books. Western novels have been my interest lately.” “Which authors do you like?” “Agatha Christie, Charles Dickens, Ernest Hemingway, Jane Austen-” “Pride and Prejudice, right? And Emma?” He smiled, nodding.
“That’s right. Do you like those books?” “They’re classics. My mom used to read them to me, it was how I learned English. That and from listening to musicals.” “So, you like musical theater as well?” “Yeah! I like singing, and I like telling stories, so it’s the best of both worlds.” He nodded again, and you both chatted for a while before your watch started beeping again.
“Oh, class is in a few minutes. I’ve got to go.” “Before you do, would you like to go somewhere together? I had a nice time, and-” “I’d like that.” It slipped out, and you blushed profusely.
“Well, my roommate’s friends with a bunch of guys. They’re having a party on Saturday night, and maybe you could come.” “Oh, sure. Where is it?” “I’ll text you the details. I don’t want you to be late.” You smiled, grabbing your case and backpack before putting a ten on the table for the drinks you’d gotten. You didn’t really eat anything, but it was fine. You’d order takeout with Yachi later.
“I’ll see you soon, Akaashi-san.” “Call me Keiji, please.” “Then call me Y/N! Thank you for meeting with me, Keiji-kun!” You turned and left, feeling impossibly light. Going to a party with a guy who seemed into you… a dream. Saturday morning you had orchestra practice, but that ended at one.
The next class you were feeling inspired, and it translated into your playing. Kiyoko, one of your friends and a pianist (but not a music major, just someone who enjoyed it for fun), told you that you sounded better than usual.
Music was more beautiful when you had someone to share it with.
You stretched out on the couch, eating your Chinese as Yachi typed away on a paper. It was getting late, and you were both tired, so once she finished you put on a horror movie to fall asleep to.
“This one’s scary. What’s it called?” “As Above something something. It’s in the catacombs, I think-” Your phone went off, and you grabbed it, smiling when you saw the name but face falling when you saw what he’d written.
Tumblr media
Yachi looked over your shoulder, and leaned her head on you.
“That’s good, don’t you like him? Are you gonna go?” You felt conflicted. A little sick. Tired.
“What’s wrong, Y/N?” “Omega Kappa, that’s where Teru-” “Oh. I get it. Crap.”
You sat in the darkened dorm room, staring at the message.
That was your ex’s fraternity.

Feels Like Yesterday: Prologue
Ship: Frankie Morales x Elena Bohannon (OC)
Rating: M
Word Count: 3,504 Words
Warnings: Language, Mentions an abusive step-parent
Masterlist
Tumblr media
Summary: This takes place about ten years before the story. Frankie and Elena try to face the truth about what they mean to each other.
A/N: Parts of this fic are actually inspired by events in my own life. This is honestly very cathartic for me to write. I also love Frankie, and feel like his character would do some of these events justice/handle them better than they were actually handled in real life. Thank you for those who have followed me here after reading Como Me Duele, and thank you to those of you who are just now joining. I hope you like this fic! As always, translations for any Spanish phrases will be at the bottom. Please let me know what you think and if you want to be in my tag list!!
"Tell me the story about how the sun loved the moon so much he died every night to let her breathe.”
Elena looked in the mirror, obsessively fixing her long, dark curls. She could see her roommate behind her grinning. Rae - best friend and pain in her ass since the beginning of time. Well, best friend aside from Fransisco Morales. He was coming up to visit her, and out of habit she was making sure not one piece of hair was out of place. “So,” Rae said, bouncing on her bed, “are you nervous for your date?”
She sighed and looked at Rae. She was so happy that they were able to room together freshman year of college, but it was moments like this that she wanted to kill her. “It’s not a date, Rae,” she said, “Frankie and I have gone out like this many times.”
Rae slid off her bed and approached her, fixing a curl Elena couldn’t see. “Just tell him,” she said, “he deserves to know how you feel before he goes off to bootcamp.”
Elena spun around with a few tears in her eyes. “He doesn’t even know that I know he’s leaving,” she said, lightly dabbing at the tears, trying to catch them before they ruined her makeup. “Santi is the one that told me they were leaving together. So, why would I tell him anything? He couldn’t even tell me himself that he signed up with Santi.”
She took a deep breath that was shaky. Rae knew she was angry with Frankie. When they’d gone home for Christmas break, the old gang was back together, sans Frankie. He had family stuff, or something, was his excuse. But Santiago Garcia, Frankie’s best friend and someone she viewed as a big brother, told her they’d signed up for the Army and would be leaving for bootcamp in May. Apparently, Frankie made this decision when she left for college. They never kept anything from each other, until that moment, which is what hurt her the most.
There was a knock on their dorm room and she froze. “You need to tell him,” Rae said as she walked to the door. She smiled and leapt into his arms when she saw him. “Frankie!” she exclaimed. “It’s been too long.”
“Hey, Rae,” he said, almost solemn. He fixed his T-shirt and straightened his signature ball cap. Elena noticed it was the same one she gave him that was from her dad’s garage.
Rae moved out of the way and let Frankie slowly saunter into the room. He stopped dead in his tracks when he saw her, beautiful as ever. She was wearing those tight jeans he loved so much and a loose v-neck tank top. She, like always, took his breath away. Elena turned and smiled at him, her eyes lighting up at the sight of him. He put his hands in his pockets and tried to compose himself. “Are you ready?” He asked. He turned to Rae. “You want us to bring you back anything?”
She shook her head. “No,” she replied, “I’m heading out myself. I’ll be back in the morning.” She looked at Elena and winked.
Elena glared at her before grabbing her purse. She followed Frankie out to his truck and hopped in the passenger seat like always. “So,” he said, glancing at her. “Where do you want to go?”
She could feel the awkwardness and tension hanging in the air between them. She shrugged and glanced over at him. She had caught him staring, and she smiled. “The usual?”
“Sure,” he said, stoic as ever.
Elena looked over and glared at him. “Everything okay there, Morales?” she asked, already knowing his answer would be something along the lines of “I’m fine.”
He took a deep breath and glanced over at her again. “I’m fine,” he said. Like clockwork.
“You know I don’t believe you, right?” she huffed.
He nodded and stared ahead at the road. “I know.”
She turned in the truck to look at him. “Look, either start talking or the second we get to the diner, I’m calling a cab.”
Frankie pulled the truck over. “I leave next month,” he said, “and I know you know.”
His words cut through her. Hearing the news from him hurt even more than him hiding it. “Why didn’t you tell me sooner?” was all she could muster.
Frankie looked at her, trying to smile. Years of unspoken feelings hung between them, but he couldn’t bring himself to acknowledge them. He couldn’t do that to her, not when he was leaving. Santiago told him to tell her everything, because she deserved to know.
“How long have you loved her?” Santiago asked while they sat around their small campfire.
“As long as I’ve known her,” Frankie replied, “but I can’t compete with Liam.”
“Fuck Liam, Frankie.”
He sighed and looked at Pope. “Come on, man. He’s one of our friends.”
Santiago shook his head and laughed. “No, he’s one of her friends. You’re just nice to him for her sake.”
“The three of us have known each other since childhood. Since before you and Rae came into the picture. He’s our friend.”
He sighed and grabbed Frankie by the shoulder. “She drops everything for you. I’ve never seen her do that for Liam. You guys have those stupid nicknames for each other: Luna y Sol. Seriously?” He gagged at the cheesiness. “She’s been in love with you for just as long. So, just tell her before you leave.”
Now was his chance to listen to Pope’s advice, even if he was leaving for who knows how long. “I didn’t want to say goodbye,” he said.
“You don’t have to,” she said, grabbing his hand in hers. He felt a twinge in his chest at the instant contact.
He sighed and rested his other hand on top of hers. “I-,” he stopped, “I shouldn’t have hid it from you. I just didn’t want to see that look on your face when you found out I was leaving.”
Elena tried to grin at him as she moved to the center seat, leaning against him. Instinctively, he threw his arm around her. “Take me to get something to eat, mi Sol,” she sighed.
He chuckled and held her closer. “Of course, mi Luna. Whatever you want.”
Frankie watched in his mirrors, waiting to pull back out onto the road to head to their usual diner. They walked in, and the hostess sat them at their usual table next to the windows. Elena loved to people watch, and she and Frankie would sit there for hours watching people pass by and make up stories about them as they went about their lives. After they placed their order, Elena noticed that he’d resumed his same awkward and tense aura he had in the truck. She took the paper off her straw and flicked it at him. “Earth to Frankie,” she said.
He seemed to come out of his daze and smiled at her. “I just have a lot on my mind,” he replied.
She felt her heart race as she took a deep breath. “You know, we never hid anything from each other until now. I know you better than anyone, except lately, I don’t feel like I know you at all. I feel like my best friend is slipping away from me, and I don’t know what I did to push him away.” Her voice broke and a tear ran down her cheek.
He looked at that tear, hating himself for having caused it. He remembered times when she’d cried over ex-boyfriends and how he’d hold her until she stopped. He promised himself that he’d never be the reason why she cried, and here he was; he was no better than those other assholes. “Luna, you didn’t do anything. It’s not you -.”
“I swear if you finish that with ‘it’s me’ I will throw water at you and storm out.”
He stopped. “I’ve just been thinking. Long distance relationships are hard. I’m already moving away for bootcamp, and once I’m done there, who knows where I’ll end up.”
Elena’s heart stopped. She was terrified about where this conversation was going, but she wanted him to finish. “I don’t want to start something serious only to fuck it up with leaving. I don’t want her to wait for me, wasting her time for someone like me.”
Her. Elena’s heart sank. Frankie must have been talking about his ex-girlfriend he’d only recently broke up with, Marilyn. They’d been on and off for several months, but Santiago said they’d officially ended things right before Christmas. That must have been why. She took a shaky breath and grabbed his hand across the table. Despite how she felt, she was willing to push those feelings aside to comfort him when he needed it. “I’m sure if you explain everything to her she’ll understand. You care about her so much, that you’re willing to let her go. Look, if it’s meant to be, she’ll still be waiting for you when you get back.”
Frankie looked at her with hope in his eyes. He knew she had no idea he meant her, the one person who’d been there for him his entire life. She’d been there when parents got divorced, when his mom remarried that abusive fuck; she even comforted him when her own dad died. The man was like a second father to him, and so she put her pain aside to take care of him and his grief. She’d given him that hat he wore from her dad’s garage, because she knew he’d want Frankie to have it. Elena had no idea what she meant to him, and his heart ached so badly to tell her but he couldn’t put her through that pain. She would be better off not knowing.
“What if,” he paused, unsure of how to finish this thought, “What if she has no idea how much she means to me, and I’m afraid to tell her because she will try to wait for me?”
Elena looked into his eyes. He was dancing around the topic, and she could tell. Every time he got nervous, he would twitch his lips together. Which is exactly what he was doing now. “Why wouldn’t you tell her?”
The waitress returned to their table with refills and their food, allowing the two of them to take a breather from this conversation for a second. He started to pick at the fries on his plate while she sat there, staring across the table at him. “She deserves to know, Sol. By not saying anything, you’re not giving her the option to make a decision for herself. You’ve made the decision for both of you, and that’s not fair to her. She doesn’t mean anything to you if you wouldn’t include her in this discussion.”
Fuck. She was right. Frankie felt his face start to burn red as he put all of his attention onto his plate, slowly counting each sesame seed on his hamburger bun. He was trying to find anything to distract himself from the truth. “She doesn’t mean anything to you if you wouldn’t include her in this discussion.” That rang in his ears so loud, he thought he would go deaf.
“Elena,” he said, “she means the world to me, and I don’t want to destroy her by telling her everything and then leaving.”
She started eating. “I love you, mi Sol. You’re my oldest and dearest friend. But sometimes you do the dumbest shit I’ve ever seen. If you don’t tell her, kiss that relationship goodbye.”
He took a bite of hamburger and thought about what she said. “What if I wrote it to her?”
“It’s better, but still incredibly selfish. Because now she can’t talk to you about it.”
He nodded. “I just can’t lose our relationship we already have.”
She set her fork down and looked at him in the eyes. “If it were me,” she breathed, “I would want to know. I wouldn't want to sit around for years on end pondering all of the ‘what ifs’. Even if you told me in a letter, I would be pissed, but at least I knew. Besides, I’d see you again, because you’re not just going to abandon me. So, we’d still get to talk. And we both know you’d miss me too much.” She smiled at him.
He let out a sigh of relief and returned her smile. “Did you mean it when you said you loved me?” he laughed.
She felt her heart race and all the blood leave her face. They’d said it to each other before, but it was almost platonic. This time, when she said it, she could feel that it meant a little more, but she had to play it off. Frankie didn’t feel that way about her, because he was in love with Marilyn. “Don’t let it go to your head,” she laughed nervously.
He grabbed her hand and lightly kissed her knuckles, sending a wave of heat throughout her body. “I love you, too,” he said.
***
They pulled into the circle drive in front of her dorm and he sat motionless in the driver’s seat. “Do you want to come up for a bit?” she asked. “We could watch our favorite.”
He laughed and looked at her. “You mean your favorite.”
Elena smiled. “You like Casablanca and you know it.”
Frankie sighed. No, he felt too much like Rick. Hopelessly in love with a woman, but never brave enough to take her for himself. But she loved that movie. “I don’t know why you like it so much, because you complain about the ending every single time.”
“I just like to hope that maybe it’ll end differently,” she said, sliding across the seat to him. “Fine, if you don’t want to watch my favorite, we can watch yours.”
“Star Wars or The Godfather,” he laughed.
“Oh, I was thinking Top Gun, but we can watch Star Wars.”
He looked down at her. Her eyes were full of so much love for him. Frankie wanted to lean down and kiss her. Take her up on her offer to go upstairs, but he couldn’t. He knew he’d never leave if he did. “I really should get home,” he sighed, “but maybe the next time we can marathon.”
She playfully pouted. “Fine. You better write to me everyday, Fransisco Morales.”
He kissed her forehead. “Expect your first letter next week. As practice.”
Elena wrapped her arms around his him and held him close. “It’s going to be so different without just down the road from me.”
He sighed and looked at her. “I do love you, mi Luna.”
She hugged him tighter and then kissed his cheek. “I do love you, mi Sol.”
Unwillingly, Elena slid out of his truck and walked up to the door. She turned around one last time and gave Frankie a tear filled smile. They were both thankful that the other couldn’t see their tears. Frankie drove away, as fast as he could. He knew Santiago had a date that night, but he needed someone to talk to. He made his way to Santi’s apartment and knocked on the door. He half opened the door until he saw Frankie standing there, distraught. “You told her,” he sighed.
Frankie shook his head. “I couldn’t, and she’s going to hate me because of it.”
He closed his eyes in disappointment and sighed. “You need to tell her.”
He wiped his eyes with the back of his hand. “I’m going to send her a letter. I can’t do it to her face. If I do, I won’t leave.”
Santi let out a groan, believing that it was almost worse than saying nothing at all . “Get in here,” he said, “I’ve got paper.”
***
Rae walked in with the campus mail in her hand. “You got a letter,” she said to Elena, tossing her an envelope with no return address.
Elena frowned and looked at the handwriting. She instantly recognized it and smiled. “Frankie told me to be expecting his practice letter.”
She shook her head at Elena and laughed. “I still can’t believe you didn’t tell him.”
“He’s in love with Marilyn. You should have heard the way he talked about her. I thought it best to just keep my feelings to myself,” she said, feeling that same tight pain in her chest again. She grabbed a knife and opened the envelope. Three pages with scratchy handwriting fell out. “Holy shit. This is some practice letter.”
Elena gathered the pages and read:
Luna,
I’m sorry. I am that selfish that I couldn’t tell you. Or at least in person. I knew if I told you in person that I’d never leave for bootcamp. I’d never become a pilot. This isn’t fair to you, because like you said, I’ve already made the decision for both of us. I should have said something right then and there, but I couldn’t.
Santi is sitting here with me shaking his head while I write you this letter, because he knows that I’ve royally fucked everything up. I won’t be surprised if you stop reading here, or if you hate me and never want to see me again. But I just need you to know that I love you. I don’t mean the ‘I love you’s’ you say to your family and friends. I mean I’ve been in love with you since the first day we met in kindergarten. You walked up to that first grader who was picking on Liam and I and punched him right in the nose. It was the most amazing thing I’d ever seen. From that moment on you decided the three of us were best friends, and I was instantly wrapped around your finger.
I continued to love you as we grew older; loving you more every day. When my parents divorced while we were in middle school, I didn’t think love existed. But you invited me over the night my dad moved out, and we fell asleep in your basement watching old movies. You had your head against my shoulder, and I remember thinking despite all of that shit I had to deal with, I was still the luckiest guy in the world.
From then on, I practically lived at your house. Your parents took after me like I was their own. Especially when my mother married that drunk bastard. I still counted myself lucky, because I was able to spend every waking moment with you. Through all of middle school and high school, all of our exes that we had, we still clung to each other. There was never anyone for me, because she wasn’t you. And I hated all of your boyfriends, because they weren’t me. Marilyn knew. That’s why she dumped me Christmas break, because she knew that I was so hopelessly in love with you.
You asked why I couldn’t tell you I signed up with Santi. This is why. I couldn’t bear the thought of having to tell you and then leave you. I didn’t want to look into your eyes as you cried, because everything would be so different now. I couldn’t leave without you knowing just how much you mean to me, but I was too afraid to tell you.
I meant what I said in the diner. I don’t want you to wait for me. I don’t want you to have to go through the pain of a long distance relationship, because it would ruin every good thing we have. But, you have the right to know how I feel. I’ve been in love with you for the last 13 years of our lives, and I’m certain I will never stop. “But, I've got a job to do, too. Where I'm going, you can't follow. What I've got to do, you can't be any part of, Ilsa. I'm no good at being noble, but it doesn't take much to see that the problems of three little people don't amount to a hill of beans in this crazy world. Someday you'll understand that.”
You will forever be my beautiful Luna, and I will happily swallow these feelings, so you may breathe.
“Here's looking at you kid.”
Love always,
Your Sol
Elena dropped the pages and let them fall to the ground, heavy with his words. Rae looked over at her and saw tears streaming down her face. She could see into her best friend’s soul as it shattered into pieces so small that she was certain no one could put it back together again. Rae knew that she’d given Frankie a piece of her heart a long time ago, and now he’d destroyed it by telling her exactly what she wanted to hear. She sat in her chair, waiting for Elena to reach out for comfort, but instead she sat on her bed, face buried in her hands as she cried.

Ex — oh sehun
oh sehun x gender neutral!reader ft. Baekhyun
word count – 1.5K
genre – college!au | angst | cheating | happy ending
warnings – cheating, breakups etc
synopsis – you've become the project partner of your ex's new boyfriend. A relationship the both of you left on clifhanger.
Tumblr media
"Jagi?" Sehun called out, entering the dorm room as he began taking his shoes off along with the denim jacket he had on all day. "Babe?" He asked again, furrowing his brows when he didn't get a response, he heard giggling coming from his boyfriend's room, he knew there was nothing to worry about, Beakhyun just probably didn't hear him. He opened the door, finding Beakhyun behind his study desk and... [Y/N] sitting on his boyfriend's bed behind a pile of economics papers.
"Sehunnie," Baekhyun chuckled nervously, but a bright smile on his face, "When did you arrive?"
Sehun kept his brows furrowed, but also kept his eyes locked with yours, practically death glares sent your way, though you sent him a smile, one that annoyed him. "Just now," Sehun confirmed, now looking at Baekhyun, a proper smile on his face, "I'll be... Anywhere but here."
Sehun exited the room, and Baekhyun looked at you, knowing why he was being so passive-aggressive, "Sorry, I didn't think—"
You waved your hands in front of your now economics partner, brushing off his apology, "Trust me, don't worry about it, it's in the past."
"I mean, yeah." Baekhyun was still a bit in the dark with your relationship with Sehun, he knows you two were dating at a point of time, not too long before him and Sehun began going out, though he never knew why his boyfriend was so hostile to you. He just assumed it wasn't his place to ask, they've only been dating for a month and thought that Sehun will eventually tell him; but it wasn't exactly the case, and Baekhyun didn't want to make it seem like he's prying. He wasn't going to lie though, part of him was envious of the fact that you know so much and refused to let out anything about your year-long relationship with Sehun.
Tumblr media
"Why are you still here?" Sehun had left his boyfriend's dorm room as soon as he entered, going back to his own and hoping to find you no longer at Baekhyun's when he returns. Much to his dismay, his hopes weren't accepted.
You put the glass of water in your hand down onto the kitchen island, turning to Sehun at the front door. "Baek is asleep, thought it would be a good idea to wait for you to drop by then leave," you said, "He shut down halfway through our last couple of questions, I thought he might be sick or whatever. Better safe than sorry kinda thing."
Sehun nodded. Closing the door carefully. The time was close to eleven, the campus lights outside coming through from the windows, plus the small night light next to the television was on, it made the atmosphere less dense and even made Sehun a little tired after studying for a few hours.
"I hope you know I'm not stalking you," you suddenly said, "It was pure coincidence that Baekhyun was signed as my partner for the final..."
Sehun chuckled, leaning against the wall that was on the right of the kitchen island, his arms crossed as he took a moment to gaze at your facial features. "I didn't think you were, but then again, major coincidence."
You smiled at that, and went to put the glass into the sink then looking over at Sehun, "Treat Baekhyun well, yeah? He's a sweet guy."
Sehun scoffed, "Don't worry, I'm not breaking up with him eight months prior to fly off to the United States," he said, keeping his stance against the wall, "Only to end up not going."
Ouch. You felt that stab in your chest and tiny goosebumps along your arms at the final comment. You sighed, placing both hands on the edge of the counter to hold onto it, looking down at the marble. "Not my finest moment," you said, a guilty aired-chuckle leaving your lips, "I do regret it. Honestly."
Sehun swallowed hard, "Then why did you do it?"
"I didn't want any form of attachments when I left..." You didn't want to admit it, but it felt good to say it out loud to the person who needed to hear it, "You know; new city, new life complex... I didn't want to have to go through that heartbreak of potentially not seeing you again..."
Sehun stayed quiet like he was thinking of his next words. He was thankful for the closure, it was something he craved for when you broke up with him, but he didn't know what to take it as now.
You spoke up despite all the silence, "I really did love you. I still do, I don't think I ever stopped. But... I'm a whole month too late, you're with Baekhyun now."
Sehun lifted himself off the wall, walking up to you with so much caution you can see the reluctance on his face. It promoted you to stand up straight, hands off the bench and instead by your side as Sehun bought himself closer to you, close enough that you're able to see every speck of light brown in his dark eyes. He lifted his hand so it gently cupped your cheek, not yet saying a word, but every thought running through his head was very much visible on his face. "I shouldn't be doing this."
"Nobody is telling you to," you chuckled lightly, placing your hand over the one caressing your cheek. "But then again, nobody is stopping you either..."
Sehun took another moment to memorise the curve of your lips, the line from your jaw that meets your chin and the small space between your parted lips. Sehun leaned forward, his head tilted to the side ever so slightly, his mouth mere millimetres away from yours.
It started off slow like you were both getting familiarising with the feeling that was once so familiar. He fucking missed this, the taste of your lips on his, the affection radiating from each other; it made him want more, craving your intimacy so much more than he realised.
Sehun's hand moved down to the back of your neck to bring the two of you as close as possible, pushing you against the edge of the kitchen island. Your hand moved behind you and onto the marble out of reflex, keeping yourself steady while Sehun locked his hand on the corner for the same reason.
"Please," Sehun said, not stopping his heated movements, "Please don't leave me again."
You nodded immediately, only for Sehun to lift you up onto the bench, standing close between your legs while his hands gripped your hips as if he thought you'd run away if he ever let go. You knew that was the case, so you wrapped your arm around his neck and bought him close, telling him you weren't going anywhere; just without the words. Both your kisses becoming slower and softer as the two of you began running out of breath.
Sehun pulled away gently, his hands still firm on your hips, but you were now graciously trailing your thumb up and down his cheekbone, bring it slowly down to his pump lips, dragging it across the lips that you craved for months. Sehun smiled at you, sad eyes locked with yours, "I missed you so much."
You looked at him with guilt though, remembering that no matter what changes between you and Sehun now, he's still in a relationship with someone else, "Sehun, but what about Baek...?"
Sehun's eyes went wide, immediately closing it tightly as soon as he remembered that was the case. "I- Don't worry, I swear, I'll figure something out," he promised, bringing his head up to peck your lips quickly. "You're all I want."
Reluctantly, you nodded. A pin of guilt evident on your face, but seeing Sehun smile at you like a child at a candy store made it disappear quickly. "I have to go, though," You said, chuckling lightly, "It's way past midnight and my friend is probably waiting for me."
"Come to my dorm, my roommate is with their girlfriend," Sehun said, placing another peck on your lips.
You thought the guilt might hit you hard later, you looked over at Baekhyun's room, thinking about how he was going to react to the news. "Okay," you looked back at Sehun, smiled obvious on your expression, "Let's go."
God, you missed him so much.

Drabble Number Eleven
This is for @skyla71.
Hi! I absolutely love what you do and I'd really like a college au/ah klaroline centered drabble if you're up to, but no teacher/student please
Caroline tapped her pen against her textbook in irritation. It was finals week and she simply could not concentrate. It was not that history was not her forte, but her mind was so unfocused that the words held no meaning to her; which only added to her frustration because her roommate, Rebekah, was at her own final; leaving their dorm room quiet. It was the perfect studying environment. No endless chatter or obnoxious siblings showing up at their door at all hours of the night.
It wasn’t that Caroline disliked Rebekah’s brother’s; it was just that Caroline was an only child and did not understand the bond her roommate had with her brothers. While she could accept that fact that Rebekah and Kol were twins and thus always attached to the hip; it was Klaus that baffled her. He was a year older than Rebekah and Kol, in this third year of college and spent an abnormal amount of time with his siblings and in their door room; around Caroline.
Rebekah and Caroline had been roommates since their freshman year and after a rough patch, they developed a close friendship and requested to share a room during their sophomore year in college. During plenty of late-night talks and confessions, Caroline knew that the Mikaelson siblings had a rough childhood that made them all extremely close.
A knock on her door pulled Caroline from her thoughts and her failed attempts at studying. She tossed her pen onto her textbook and got up. She pulled open the door to see Klaus standing on the other side of it, his eyes darting down the hallway as though he was looking for something.
“Is Rebekah here? Or Kol?”
“Rebekah is at a final and this isn’t Kol’s dorm room.”
“Might as well be.” Klaus replied, his eyes still darting down that hall. In truth, he was right. Where Rebekah went, Kol followed and visa versa. Being friends with one of the twins meant being forced to accept the other. It was a good thing Caroline found Kol hilarious. “Can I come in? Please?”
“Sure.” Klaus ran inside and Caroline closed the door behind them. Klaus’s shoulder’s relaxed and he plopped down on Rebekah’s bed; letting out a big sigh. The bag he had been carrying was tossed to the side of the bed. “What is wrong with you?
“Remember Cami?” Klaus asked, not looking at her.
“You mean your ex-girlfriend?” Cami and Klaus dated for the majority of their freshman year at college but ended things on bad terms the following year. Caroline had only known Rebekah a few months when the entire debacle went down. It had been over a year since the relationship ended and it was a spectacular break up when Klaus ended things. Cami had trouble letting go and from time to time, would pop up in Klaus’s life trying to get back together with him.
“Yeah. I saw her in the Quade outside your dorm building. She saw me and clearly had intent to speak with me, so I bolted.” Klaus replied. Caroline snorted and shook her head. Klaus’s eyes peeked open and he smirked at her. “Your room was closest place I could think of.” He eyed the study materials on her desk and winced. He knew how much Caroline prioritized her coursework. “Sorry if I barged in. I’ll just hang for a few minutes and be out of your hair.”
“You can stay.” Caroline muttered quickly, knowing she was not going to get much studying done in the first place. Even though the closeness Klaus shared with his siblings baffled Caroline at times, she would not lie and say that she didn’t mind Klaus’s company. He made her laugh and always went out of his way to build up her self-esteem, as though he could see the insecurities that lay beneath her obsessive façade. “I don’t mind.”
“Thanks.” Klaus replied, sending her a dimpled covered smile. A look passed between them that caused Caroline’s skin to heat up. His gaze always seemed to light a fire under her that made her way to snap and kiss him; her friendship with Rebekah was the only thing holding her back. Their gaze broke only when a knock on her door jerked them out of it.
“Caroline? Rebekah?” Cami’s voice sounded through the door and Klaus shot her a panicked look. Caroline picked up Klaus’s bag and shoved it under her desk while Klaus did what he could to hid under Rebekah’s bed. Caroline walked over to the door and opened it wide.
“Cami?” Caroline stated, eying the other woman. Cami was tall with a square jaw, long dark blonde hair and blue eyes. She was pretty and intelligent, but it was the superior attuited that she portrayed toward everyone else that always turned Caroline off her. “Long time no see.”
“Yeah. Have you seen Klaus?” Cami asked briskly. “I saw him come into this building and figured that he was going to see Rebekah. Cami’s eyes eyed the dorm room and Caroline had the door open wide enough that Cami could see the majority of it. Happily, the position of Rebekah’s bed and the fact that she had a bed shirt kept Klaus well hidden.
“Yeah. Actually, he was a couple minutes ago. Rebekah is at a final, so he left. He said something about needed to talk to her about Kol.” Caroline replied with a shrug. “Who knows with them. Kol probably got himself into some sort of trouble. Probably involving a girl.” Cami nodding her head in agreement; Kol’s tendencies to find himself in the most ridiculous situations was legendary around campus. “If I see him, I’ll let him know you stopped by.”
“Thanks Caroline.” Cami smiled at her and turned to walk away. Caroline waited for the other woman to leave the hallway before shutting the door. Klaus crawled out from under the bed and it amazed Caroline that he was even able to fit under there at all. She snorted and shook her head at him; watching him struggle to pull himself from underneath the bed.
“I find it very amusing that Klaus Mikaelson, the king on campus is hiding from his ex-girlfriend.” Caroline added. “I mean, Cami has a superiority complex that she fails to diagnose herself with, but she isn’t crazy. Obsessive maybe but not crazy.”
“I know. I just can only handle someone wanting to dissect my entire life so much.” Klaus told Caroline as he flopped back onto Rebekah’s bed. Caroline walked across the room and sat down beside him. “Like, she was great at first. Then once she really got into her psychology classes she completely changed. I tried breaking it off with her for months to no avail. Even a year later she still tries to get back with me.”
“I know Rebekah didn’t like her.” Caroline added, remembering all the times Rebekah went on and on about how much she hated Cami and that Klaus deserved to be with someone better. “So, is that the only reason why you broke up with her; because she psychoanalyzed you?”
“No.” Klaus breathed. His eyes tilted upward, to look at Caroline. “I had feelings for someone else. It wasn’t fair to her if I was wanting to be with someone else. Still have feelings for her actually.”
“That’s really mature of you.” Caroline said, her heart sinking slightly. Internally, she scolded herself. This was Rebekah’s brother, which makes him off limits. If he was trying to be with someone else, then it really made him off limits to her. “Who is she?”
“Someone amazing.” Klaus sat up and look at Caroline with a dimpled smile. “She has these blue eyes that when she gets annoyed and frustrated, she narrows them. Her nose crinkles in such a way when she hears something completely obnoxious; usually directed at Kol. She has this laugh that lights up a room.” He lost himself slightly, a small smile that made Caroline’s heart completely break.
“You really like her.”
“Yeah. I really do.” Klaus tilted his head on her, as though he was studying her. “She is very organized, almost to the point that is obnoxious. She color-codes everything. She has this quick wit that is ready at a moment’s notice to tell me off. In fact, she is very beautiful whenever she gets angry; especially at me. I may try and make her angry on purpose sometimes. I like to push her buttons just to get a reaction out of her. But at the same time, I would do anything just to see her smile.” He laughed lightly. “You see, she has this tendency to put others before herself. She likes to pretend she is just fine but I can see how much it hurts her to be put last time and time again. I’m really glad that Rebekah is just a good friend to her. She needed someone like that in her life.”
“You just spent the last couple of minutes waxing poetically about her and why she is perfect. Why haven’t you asked her out already.” Caroline asked, mentally going through a list of Rebekah’s friends, wondering who could have bewitched him so. Klaus only blinked for a couple of seconds before bursting out laughing. He all but doubled over laughing. Caroline was baffled at his mirth, but it brought a smile to her face. “What?”
“You are completely clueless.” Klaus told her fondly before leaning forwarding and pulling her into a kiss. It was a sweet kiss and gentle before peppering small kisses around her lips and on her nose. Caroline placed her hands on his chest and pushed him away slightly, her eyes wide in confusion.
“Wait. Why are you kissing me if you like someone else?”
“Seriously?” When Caroline didn’t move, Klaus took her hands into his. “Caroline Forbes, that neurotic, color coding, beautiful woman I was talking about is you.” Caroline’s jaw dropped slightly, not really able to process what he was saying. “I like you.”
“Oh.” She let his words sink in before leaning forward and pulled him into a bruising kiss. It was hard and passionate; teeth nipping at his lips. Klaus placed his hands on her hips, this thumb tracing the small path of skin that was revealed as her shirt rode up. Caroline weaved her fingers through his hair, her nails scraping at his scalp.
“Now she gets it.” Klaus mutters when they break apart. “Do you know how long I have been trying to get you to realize that I like you?”
“Shut up and kiss me.”
“Of course, Sweetheart.” Klaus’s lips attack hers again and Caroline wraps her arms around his shoulders. Klaus leans her back against the mattress and crawls on top of her; Caroline opens her legs in order to give him room to rest between them. Caroline opened her mouth in order to allow Klaus’s tongue to mingle with hers. He thrusted his hips forward, rubbing against her clothed core.
“Oh my god! Seriously!” Klaus and Caroline jumped apart when they heard a screech. Rebekah stood in the doorway of the room, Kol over her shoulder laughing hysterically. Rebekah was red faced and her jaw was slacked. “Your bed is right there!” She yelled, pointing to Caroline’s bed that was across the room. “Right there!!” Her eyes bulged and she shook her head. Klaus and Caroline exchanged a guilty look before moving off of Rebekah’s bed. “I need to wash my sheets. And maybe get a new mattress.”
Kol was still laughing as he watched Rebekah strip down her bed.

We Could Be Heroes Ch. 4
Rayla made her way as quickly and quietly as possible back to her dorm. Claudia had texted back that she would wait in her car up the road.  It was already after 8, so everyone was either in their dorms or studying in the library. ‘No clue what I’m going to tell the girls.  I’m moving in with my boyfriend is the truth, but they’ll start asking questions.  Maybe I’ll say nothing.  I don’t tend to sleep there as much anymore.  Too much risk running into Bandlr.’
By the time Rayla had put her building key in the lock she was no closer to an answer.  Rayla went up to her floor and poked her head in her room.  ‘Good; no one’s here.  I’ll just grab my clothes and my books and I should be good to go. Anything else I need, Callum either has or will get.’  She grabbed a bag and began shoveling her textbooks and notebooks into it.
“Where you been, Rayla?”  Rayla gulped as she turned to her roommate, Zaras, a Skywing elf, standing in the door way.   Her wings looked as soft as ever while her pale blue skin looked a tad darker from the all sun she must have gotten since it became March.  With long black hair and a sweet face, Zaras looked just as soft as her wings.  No one ever saw her sharp tongue or heeled boots coming.  Zaras had her dark eyebrow raised as she lightly brushed dust off her right wing.
“I’m just getting my stuff.”  Was her voice shaking?  ‘Confidence, Rayla.  Runaan always said to act confident.’
“I see that,” Zaras gave a small smirk.  “Where you going?”
“I’m going to stay with my boyfriend for a bit.”
“Why are you staying with Prince Callum?”  Rayla felt her heart stop.  “I haven’t told anyone.”  Rayla’s heart started beating again as she relaxed just a bit.  “If anyone asks where you are, I always say you must be in the library or at the 24-hour gym in town.”
“How long have you known?”
Zaras shrugged before sitting on Rayla’s bed.  “The whole time, if it’s been more than a year.  You spend a lot of time with him and you always look so happy after you spend the night at his place.  Why do you think I insisted we be roommates again this year?”
“Because I’m the only person that tolerates your granola habit at three o’clock in the morning?”
“That and I like him, too.  He has been nothing but respectful to every elf on campus.  I have never seen him so much as raise his voice unless he was being provoked.  He’s more aggressive with the humans who push him to try dark magic than he is with us.  He also asked my honest opinion on the Sky arcanum and if I knew any good books of spells.  You got yourself a good man, Rayla, and I don’t want you to lose him just because someone didn’t like him.”
“Thank you, Zaras.  Bandlr is going to go public with this tomorrow.  He found out and he’s acting like it’ll just ‘slip out.’”  Zaras hissed as she shook her head.  “I know.  He’s an asshole and I would kill him if I could.  I might, anyways.  I think I would be doing everyone a favor.”
“Bandlr is going to be the least of your worries.  You know that a lot of the humans on campus don’t like you, right?  Just purely based on the fact that you freely admitted that you are, technically, an assassin.  Even if you haven’t made a kill, you’re still trained and still able.”
Rayla put her head in her hands as she groaned.  “I know.  I also know that I don’t want to walk away from him.  Even though it would be easier and would save the both of us a lot of pressure and harassment.”
“But you love him.”  Rayla turned to see Zaras looking at her with a genuinely happy smile.
“That I do.”
“How are you going to get your stuff to his place?”
“His friend, Claudia, is going to help me.  Her car’s already parked and she’s waiting for me.”
A quick clap of her hands and Zaras was up and already rifling through Rayla’s drawers.  “Well, let’s get packing.  Do you want anything out of the bathroom or can I have it?  I really like the smell of your moonberry shampoo.”
“You can have all of it.  Except the bubbles.  Those are mine.”
“Noted.  Where’s your other bag?”  Zaras quickly helped pack while keeping an eye on the door.  It was better to know who was and who wasn’t in the suite so that they could leave with as few questions as possible.  “Do you seriously not have any sexy underwear?  I have several pairs just to make me feel good on a bad day.”
“Callum might have a heart attack if I did.  You know my bra with the front clasp?  I wore it one time and he almost fainted.  In about five years, I’ll try the front clasp again.”  It had been a complete accident that he had even seen the stupid thing.  She was changing at his place and he had happened to walk into the room.  Callum had blushed bright red and stammered when he saw her take it off before leaving the room, stumbling the whole way.
“Pfft.  That is just too adorable.  I don’t know how anyone can think that dork is dangerous.”
“I don’t either.  The most threatening thing he’s ever done was tell Bandlr to back off after he busted into Callum’s apartment.”
“You might need extra security, then.  My dad knows people who work in the security industry.  I’ll give him a call if you need it.”
“We’ll let you know.  I can’t tell you how much it means to me, to us, that you’re helping me.  That you’ve been helping me.”
Zaras shrugged, a thoughtful expression taking over her features.  “I told you, he’s a good man.  He’s also a talented mage with zero percent of the overconfidence that I see in a lot of the mages here on campus; human and elf.  I have no idea how he got the Sky arcanum to work for him, though.  From what he told me, he understood that the wind was a part of him, of everything.  He also admitted that it was after he broke a primal stone, so take that as you will.”
“He’s explained it to me a bunch of ways and he loses me halfway through.  He understands how he did it but he can’t explain it in a way that makes sense.  And now that he’s planning to try with the other arcana, he has to make it make sense.  He’ll always be dangerous if he can’t make people understand why he was able to access primal magic as a human.  There will be people who accuse him of using dark magic to succeed or that he made a deal with someone like Aaravos.”
“I wish him all the luck in the world.  I also wish you luck.  You’re gonna need it.”
“Thanks.  I’ll need every last bit of luck you have.  Where’s your lucky coin again?”
“You’ll take my lucky coin over my dead body.”
“I can arrange that.”  They chuckled as Rayla did a quick sweep of the apartment.  “I think that’s everything.”
“Let’s go, then.”  Zaras made sure to walk out the door first, after grabbing Rayla’s bubbles, and kept the conversation on classes and the latest movie.  “I’m telling you, Rayla, you need to go see this one.  I’m normally am not a fan of human cinema, but this guy just cried as he rode off into the sunset.  Wonderful.  I need eight more.”
“You just have a thing for men crying.”
“Who doesn’t?  I also really like girls in tight pants.  Really tight pants.”
“Are we going to discuss your kinks all night?  I’ll need a drink if we are.”
“Buy me some hard liquor and I’ll be sure to tell you every last one of them.”
“Name the time and place.  There’s the car.”  Zaras nodded and let Rayla lead the way from there.  Claudia waved them over and quickly popped the trunk. “Thank you, again, Zaras.”
“You’re welcome.  You owe me that drink.  And I want you to tell me what’s going on.  I’m here if you need me.”  Rayla was normally not really a huggy person, but she quickly wrapped her arms around Zaras in thanks.  It took a moment for Zaras to return the hug, squeezing Rayla with all her strength.  When they separated, Zaras smiled at Rayla again before nodding her head to the car.
“Right.  Good night.”  Rayla hopped in and Claudia hurried down the road.  Zaras waved before quickly turning back to the dorm.  “Do you think anyone saw you?”
“Doubt it.  Soren got a message from King Harrow today.”  Brow raised; Claudia looked at Rayla out of the corner of her eye.  “Apparently, he’s going to be officially stationed here?”
“I asked for him.  I needed more people in our corner.”
“That sky elf looks pretty in your corner.”
“She is.  I’ll introduce you sometime.  Make sure you wear super tight pants.”
“Ooh.  My kind of girl.”  It didn’t take long to reach the apartment complex. Claudia drove to the back and grabbed a bag after parking.  “Callum texted that he’s still at the store.  I’m going to take his key when he gets back and get a copy made for you.  You two can’t leave the apartment until I get back and that might not be until tomorrow night, okay?”
“As long as I get it before classes start Monday, I’m good to go.”  They went in and up the elevator.  Claudia suddenly got a big smile on her face as she laughed.  “What’s so funny?”
“I’m helping my ex-boyfriend’s girlfriend move into his apartment.  And we have to keep everything a complete secret until tomorrow.  I feel like some sort of secret agent.”
“How do you feel about that?”  For all of Claudia’s prodding, Rayla had never known if Claudia was actually alright with watching her ex-boyfriend move on or was putting on a front because they were still friends.
Claudia shrugged and turned to Rayla.  “Honestly?  Not nearly as bad as I thought I would.  Neither one of us was mature enough or in a good place for a real relationship.  I’m a little jealous, but I think that has more to do with the fact that he’s moved on and in a steady relationship while I’m still going on speed dates.  He was everything I was supposed to want; we just didn’t fit together.  He has drawn such a thick line in the sand concerning dark magic and, well, dark magic is the only thing that’s allowing my brother to stand anymore.  Callum has really pushed for me to learn healing from the other elves here.  The only problem is that my father is Lord Viren and he hates elves.  No one wants to teach me or help Soren because they’re scared that I’ll take their life force to heal Soren or we’ll take the secrets back to our dad.”
“You wouldn’t, though.  Callum told me that you two are Team Soren and Claudia.  You’re your own side and you wouldn’t jeopardize Soren’s health to get back in your father’s good graces.”
A chuckle and a shake of her head was all Rayla got for a moment.  “He’s right. Viren’s our dad and we want nothing to do with him.  He told Soren to kill Ezran while he and Callum were at the Banther Lodge a few years ago, before anyone knew just how treacherous he had become.  He also told me to leave Soren to die if it was between him and an artifact that was supposed to amplify magical abilities.  The things he’s called Callum and Queen Sarai…. I understand why my mom left him.  Soren and I wish we had picked her all those years ago.  He’s not going to be nice about this.  All the hatred he’s felt towards Callum and Queen Sarai is also going to fall on you.”  The elevator opened and the two got out, sitting on the floor with Rayla’s stuff to the side.
“Why did he hate her?  She saved his life and died doing it.”  Claudia looked conflicted for a few moments.  Rayla could see the wheels turning in her head. She genuinely didn’t know what had made Viren turn on Sarai and Callum didn’t seem to have an answer either.  If she knew, maybe she could be better prepared for anything Viren launched against them.
Finally, Claudia nodded her head, looking back at Rayla.  “Don’t tell Callum this. Or Ezran.  You have to promise you will never tell them.”
“Is it that bad?”
Claudia held Rayla’s stare and lightly shook her head.  “You have no idea what he has called her.  If Callum found out, he might kill my dad.  I think King Harrow finding out about it is what ultimately led to he and my dad falling out.”
Rayla didn’t want to keep secrets from Callum and keeping one from Ezran would be more difficult than her training with Runaan.  But this was also a chance to get another perspective on Callum’s history.  She didn’t trust the news and she didn’t trust what most other people said because they didn’t know Callum; Claudia did.  “I don’t like it, but I promise I won’t say anything.”
“OK.  I’ll hold you to it.”  Claudia sighed as she leaned against the door.  “You know that Queen Sarai wasn’t a noble, right?”  Rayla nodded as she adjusted herself.  She had a feeling Claudia was going to be giving her a lot of information and that this was a lot more complicated than she thought.  “Well, when Queen Sarai and King Harrow were kids, they met when his father took him to visit his best general.  That was Queen Sarai and General Amaya’s mother.  Harrow was instantly smitten with her.  They spent a lot of time together during that visit and Harrow was convinced he would marry her.  He was right, eventually.
“Queen Sarai didn’t have those same thoughts.  She viewed herself as a warrior first and that her job would be to protect the future king.  And then she met Marco, Callum’s father.  From what I heard; he had no prospects beyond his artwork.  He didn’t come from a family with any kind of wealth or status, couldn’t use a bow and arrow or a sword and always questioned why the world couldn’t talk about peace instead of continuing to fight whenever the war was brought up.  He was also opposed to dark magic; calling it the reason why the peace had been shattered in the first place.  He was probably the last person who should marry a future military leader, but he came to their home one day to paint a portrait of Sarai and Amaya and that was that.  They got married a year and a half later and Callum was born about two years after that.
“Marco died when Callum was only a year old from a bad fall.  He was painting a client’s ceiling and someone on the ground wasn’t paying close enough attention.  Queen Sarai was devastated and she buried herself in her work and raising Callum.  Her work brought her to the capital and to Harrow.  By this point, he and my father were close and my dad was pushing for Harrow to get married and have an heir before he was crowned king.”  Claudia chuckled as a sad smile took over.  “Harrow instantly fell back in love with her and he loved Callum immediately after meeting him.  It didn’t matter to him that Callum was from his love’s first marriage.  He was part of Sarai and that was enough.
“Dad didn’t think it was…appropriate for a future king to marry a woman who already had a child.  It didn’t matter that she was a widow.  She had a kid and she wasn’t noble; that should have taken her out of the running.  He brought women from all over the Pentarchy and Harrow still chose Sarai.  And it got really, really ugly between Sarai and my dad.  She asked him what his problem was and he called Callum…well, he called Callum a mongrel son of a street urchin.  He then said Callum wasn’t fit to lick Soren’s boots, let alone be the son of a king.  That was before he proceeded to call Sarai a two-bit gold-digger who was only interested in Harrow because she wanted another man in her life and Harrow happened to be there.  He told her she was nothing more than a whore who would lead Harrow to his own destruction.  None of that was true, but my dad was so blinded by his devotion to Harrow that he didn’t see the truth anymore.
“Sarai said her piece by calling Dad a self-serving, egotistical asshole.  She made him a deal; she wouldn’t tell Harrow what he said if he backed off.  Dad knew a good deal when he saw one and agreed.  Harrow would have believed Sarai in a heartbeat.  Sarai and Harrow got married and then had Ezran.  In between, Sarai began to let it be known to the rest of the world about her distaste for dark magic.  She thought it was a shortcut and resisted every time it was brought up as a solution.  This university was all her idea.  She had taken what her first husband had said to heart and she wanted peace between the Pentarchy and Xadia.  She instilled that in Callum and Harrow and they’ve instilled it in Ezran and General Amaya.  And the four of them have started to instill it in the rest of the Pentarchy.
“They tried to get along for Harrow’s sake but my dad would just rail into her when he thought it was safe.  Called her power hungry and manipulative.  Soren and I heard things that no one should ever utter about anyone.  Sarai died protecting my father because she knew how important he was to Harrow.  She thought they would both make it out alive and they had just saved her sister.  Dad had a high opinion of her for a little bit, until Harrow started implementing her ideas.  The university and this town started to be built less than a year after her death.  He pushed for more peace talks and gradually started to reject any of Dad’s ideas if they involved dark magic.  Eventually, Harrow started to call for Dad for council less and less.
“Dad blamed Sarai for losing his best friend.  The truth is, Sarai was right.  Dark magic is a shortcut.  It’s the only one we have, besides primal stones, for humans to learn magic.  And it’s impossible to get primal stones.  There are days when I listen to Callum and agree with everything he says.  I wonder if dark magic has twisted my dad beyond repair and if that’s why he’s like this now.  He used to be kinder and more understanding.  What if dark magic does that to me one day?”  She twisted the white lock in her hair and bit her lip.  “But I also love magic and don’t want to give it up.  I’ve always been a mage, and I’m really freaking good at it.  I taught Callum how to use the primal stone and his first couple of spells.  Callum can’t explain how he unlocked the arcanum in a way that anyone understands and I refuse to stop using dark magic to help my brother until I have another answer.”
Rayla had heard a lot of this from Callum, but to hear just how this animosity between Sarai and Viren and how that led to Harrow and Viren’s own relationship to deteriorate put new light on everything he had told her.  “Callum really doesn’t know?”
Claudia shrugged, a thoughtful expression crossing her face.  “He knows about Dad’s feelings towards him and he knows Dad didn’t like Sarai.  To my knowledge, he has no clue just how deep that hatred runs and for how long it has.  Neither does Ezran.  In their minds, Sarai was a saint; why would anyone hate her with all of their being?  Harrow doesn’t want them to know what my dad called their mother.  Callum also doesn’t know about the deal they made or the argument that it came from.  As far as Callum and Ezran know, Dad just gave up and told Harrow to be happy.  If they find out, it needs to be from Harrow.  The only reason I know is because Dad got drunk one night and told me and Soren everything.  When we told Harrow that we knew, he asked us to keep it quiet and never, ever tell Callum or Ezran.  That was the same day that we told Harrow about his plot to kill Ezran.  We picked Harrow’s side that day and Dad wanted nothing more to do with us and we wanted nothing more to do with him.”
“Why can’t they know?”
“Would you want your sons to know that someone you believed was your best friend and your biggest supporter thought their mother was anything less than honorable, even after she saved his life?”
Rayla thought about it for a moment.  If she and Callum had children and were put in a similar situation, would she want their children to know something like that?  “No, I don't think I would.”
“See?” Claudia asked not unkindly.  “It's one thing to say that Viren didn't like Sarai, it's another to say the words he actually used.  I don’t want to tell Callum or Ezran and neither does Soren.  It’s not something you feel good about knowing.  The only reason I told you is because you need to know what you’re going up against.  Dad may say all of those things and worse to anyone who will listen and you have to be prepared.  Don’t focus on what they call you.  Don’t let anyone get the best of you with name-calling.  Only state your and Callum’s truth.  If you spend any time saying anything besides that and that you and Callum love each other for who you are, then they would have won and they will keep coming back.  I’ll step in if I have to on your behalf.  I like you, Rayla, and I like how happy you make Callum.  No matter what, he is one of my best friends in this world and I don’t want him to lose you over something neither one of you can control.”
“He’s not gonna lose me.  I’ll have to be dragged kicking and screaming out of this relationship at this point.”
“Good.”  Claudia hugged her knees to her chest and rested her head on them.  “When Callum and I dated, it was before Dad was disgraced.  To a degree, it was always assumed we would get married for political reasons.  It wasn’t really a big deal to anyone until we broke-up.  That’s when the gossip came around.  I can’t imagine what the two of you must be feeling right now.”
Rayla stretched her legs out and folded her arms over her chest.  “Nervous.  A bit relieved.  Like we’ve done both the smartest and stupidest thing we ever could.  He wanted to give up when Amaya told us I didn’t have an out the second the public knew.  He told me to go back to my uncles and I told him that if I did that there would be no second chances.  We either stand together now or he will lose me forever.”
“Good for you.”  Claudia had a big grin on her face at Rayla’s statement.
“I wasn’t going to let him give up.  I think Bandlr’s threat to tell the world and then hearing his aunt tell him I had to stay at the border got to him.  He finally came back to his senses when he saw I wasn’t going to run away and was going to take this media nonsense head-on.”
“I understand if he’s concerned about the media.  It’s not easy to live the way he does.  This is the most freedom he’s had since his mom married Harrow.  Every move he makes, every outfit he wears, every person he meets is dissected to death.  There are articles and videos out there about whether or not Harrow actually loves Callum and that has hit Callum so hard.  They talk about body language this and Callum didn’t go to such-and-such event that and they don’t know anything that goes on behind closed doors.  I have never seen someone love their kids as much as Harrow does Callum and Ezran.  Harrow’s distance was because he didn’t want Callum to feel like he was replacing his father not because he loved Callum any less.  It took a long, long time for Callum to call him ‘Dad’ and being constantly reminded that he is the ‘step-prince’ didn’t help.”
Before Rayla could respond, the elevator opened to reveal Callum, laden with groceries.  “Hey, guys.  I’ve got enough food to last a month.  Or a week since you’ll be here, Rayla.”
Rayla did a quick eyeroll.  “Ha ha, Mr. Skinny.  It’s all muscle unlike your noodle arms.”  Raylan and Claudia stood, each grabbing one of Raylas bags.
“You like my noodle arms.”  A quick smirk at Rayla and Callum unlocked the door so they could head inside.  Claudia and Rayla quickly put Rayla’s stuff down so Rayla could help Callum put their groceries away.  “You’ll be so proud of me.  I only got one more piece of fruit for the fruit bowl.”
“You’re eating that, too.”
“I’m drawing it tomorrow and then I’ll be done and we’ll spend the rest of the day eating fruit and Earthblood honey.  And the day after that.  And maybe the day after that.”
Rayla picked up said piece of fruit and glared at it.  “I swear, if your plan is to slowly replace the rest of our diet with your fruit bowl, I will make you eat the actual bowl.”
“Do you hear what I put up with, Claudia?”
Claudia shook her head as she walked over to the two.  She looked at the fruit bowl and then back at Callum.  “Do you really need all that fruit for art?”
“It’s called still life and I haven’t done it in a while and drawing helps me relax in stressful situations.  Also, please lay off my fruit.”  Callum handed her the key to the apartment.  “Let us know when you get the copy.”
“Got it.  I’ll give you the bill then, too.”
“I can give you cash now.”
“Nah, I know you’re good for it.  I also know where you live.  Night.”
“Night, Clauds.”
“Thanks for the help.”  Rayla followed Claudia to the door and locked it behind her.  “Alright.  We need to talk about something.”  Callum gulped as he suddenly found his shirt very interesting.  “I’m not still mad at the whole ‘run away while you can’ thing if that’s what you’re thinking.”
“Oh, thank god.  I was going to have a heart attack.”
“It’s about how…. calmly we bring up marriage.  We teased each other about you marrying me because of honey and how strong I am.  When Ezran talked about me being his big sister, I almost said ‘yes.’  And then, you called Runaan and Ethari your ‘future-in-laws.’  We’ve been bringing it up for months without ever really talking about it.”  Rayla went back to the kitchen, lightly drumming her fingers against the counter.  “Do you want to marry me?”
“I’m not opposed to it,” he hedged.
“Callum.”  Rayla needed him to be as honest and serious as possible about this. She didn’t want to start planning a forever with him in her mind if it hadn’t even crossed his.
“Fine,” Callum grabbed her hand and looked in her eyes with those suddenly far too green ones of his.  “I know we haven’t been together that long, but I know I want to marry you someday.  I wouldn’t have asked to meet Ethari and Runaan if I didn’t.  I also don’t want to do it for a few years.  We’re still young and there are so many things to see and do first.”
“Do you already have a ring?”
“No.  I actually have one planned, but I’m going to have it specially made.  I’m thinking,” he raised her hand and separated her middle finger out, “a band of platinum that has been twisted.  I’m also thinking a moonstone sunken into the band.  Nothing jutting out, so you won’t be able to cut someone when you backhand them.”
“But that’s the best part.”  Rayla looked down at her hand as Callum stroked the base of her finger.  “You’ve really thought about this.”
“More than thought about it.  I've drawn it a hundred times.”
“Have you now?”  It was supposed to come out cocky and self-assured, but instead, Rayla felt anticipation and curiosity step in.
Callum looked at her finger again, biting his lip.  He went over to the bookcase, going to his shelf of sketchbooks.  He quickly pulled out the one he was looking for and flipped through the pages.  “This is the one I settled on.”
Callum came back to rest the book on the counter, open to a page with a single ring design.  The top of the band was braided platinum with the moonstone embedded in the center.  Not only that, but one side had a red stone and yellow stone while the other had purple and green ones.  Each stone was also embedded.  Callum had also drawn what he wanted the inside of the band to look like.  So far, it was just the moon and sky runes, but plenty of room to add more.  The uneven towers of Katolis were right next to the moon rune.  “It’s very detailed,” she breathed.
“I just thought about it one day and I couldn't stop.  I actually spent weeks of my summer vacation creating the perfect design.”
Rayla looked up at him.  “You were thinking about this when we couldn't even see each other?”
“Well, yeah,” he sheepishly replied.
It was mindboggling to her.  He had had this in his head for that long?  “We hadn't been together for very long.  Officially at least.”
“I'm not ready to get married now.  I just know, even back then, that I want to marry you.”
“Is that a proposal?”  Rayla let a grin come over her features.  Teasing Callum was her default for whenever she became overwhelmed.   And she was insanely overwhelmed.
“No, it's a plan.”
“Sounds like a proposal to me.  You got a sketch for the ring; told me you want to be with me until you die.”
Callum put a mock affronted look on his face, hand going to his chest.  “I did not use those words.”
“Maybe not.  But that's what you meant.”
Callum flushed.  “It’s not a proposal.”  He paused as a small bit doubt entered his voice.  “What do you think about the ring?”
“It’s beautiful.  And if you had already had it made, I might have said ‘yes’ just now.”  Callum glared at her teasing for a moment before her entire statement caught up with him, eyes going wide and mouth slightly ajar.  Rayla blushed, quickly turning her attention back to the sketch.  “I thought diamonds were traditional among humans, though.”
Callum let her change the subject, probably still processing her acceptance of his ‘not proposal.’  “We,” a quick point of his fingers between the two of them, “are not a traditional couple.  I thinks something a bit more symbolic and unique to us would make far more sense.  My mom didn't have one on her rings, either.  My father could barely afford the plain silver one he gave her and Dad knew that Mom valued simplicity and creativity over showy.  That ring was also braided, but it was gold and had my birthstone.  Dad said it wasn't so much an engagement ring as it was a promise to love both Mom and me for the rest of his life.”
“You always talk so highly of her.”  Rayla hadn’t noticed it before, but Claudia was right; Callum viewed Sarai as a saint.  There was always a reverent tone in his voice whenever he talked about her and it seemed like she could have done no wrong in his eyes.
Callum shrugged.  "She was my mom.  She stood by my father and Dad through the tough times and believed in putting in the hard work for peace, love, and justice instead of taking the easy way out.  I never doubted that she loved me and Ezran equally.  I remember her being full of love and warmth, with a serious sweet tooth.  Only a fool got between her and jelly tarts.”  He chuckled.  “There’s actually this great story Aunt Amaya tells.  When they were kids, someone tried to take a bite of Mom’s cake and she stabbed their hand with her fork.  Everyone knew to stay away from her dessert after that.  I really miss her sometimes.   I think about what life would be like if she were still here.  I actually have this pair of socks she tried to knit when she was pregnant with Ezran.  They were for me, but the sizing was so off and it looks like she tried to add a thumb at some point.  I can never wear them, but I also can't bring myself to throw them away.”
“Do you think about what life would have been like with your father?”
A guilty look crossed his features.  “I don't really remember him.  It feels like Harrow has always been my dad.  Everyone says I take after my father.  I'm terrible with weapons, talented in art, and have his eyes.  Even my smile is supposed to look just like his did.  And it's nice to know that, but, it's hard for me to think ‘that's my father’ when I see a picture or someone mentions his name.”  Callum started to absently flip through the pages of his sketchbook.  “His grandparents died shortly after I turned six, so I don’t even have anyone to go to for stories about his childhood.  My mom left me everything she had, but it was just a stack of documents that didn’t say much beyond medical history and the family trees with a handful of photographs.  I have all of his art pieces that aren’t in a museum or were for clients, though.  You know that portrait of my mom?”
Rayla turned to the picture in question.  It was a replica of a very soft, gentle-looking Sarai.  Rayla had often wondered if that portrait had been done while she was pregnant with Callum or was holding him.  Sarai had always had a reputation in Xadia for being strong and excelling in combat, even with her talk about peace and understanding.  To see her look so sweet had been a little jarring at first.  “Yeah.”
“My father painted the original shortly before he died.  The actual painting is hanging in an art museum in the capital, right next to the one he painted of Mom and Aunt Amaya.  Me, Dad, Ezran, and Aunt Amaya all have painted copies.   Trust me, the original is much better and I can’t wait to take you to see it someday.  You can tell with each stroke just how much he loved her, and how he carefully chose each color to bring out the softness he saw in her that a lot of people didn’t because she was so good at being a warrior.  That's the one thing that makes me go ‘yeah, that’s who my father was.’  Do you think about what your life would be like if your parents raised you?”
Rayla shook her head.  “Not really.  I couldn't have asked for better than Runaan and Ethari.  My parents are members of the Dragon Guard and it’s a big honor, I just don't get to see them.  As far as I'm concerned, Runaan and Ethari are my parents.  If my mum and dad came here and told me they didn't approve of us, I can't imagine I'd really care.  I'm not even sure when I can tell them.”
“You can't call them?”
Rayla shrugged.  “That's only really used in emergencies.   You have to hope that they call you.  Letters are better.  It’s getting late.  Do you wanna go to bed?”
Callum looked like he wanted to continue the conversation, but looked at the clock before nodding.  “Yeah, let’s go to bed.  We’re gonna need to be well rested for tomorrow.”
“Is it wrong to hope tomorrow never comes?”
“Well, we’re not leaving this apartment until Monday, so we’ll just pretend it didn’t.”
“Like you’re pretending you didn’t propose?”  Callum groaned as Rayla chuckled.

Notes:
Up to chapter 12 is actually already up on AO3, I just keep forgetting to post this here.  Sorry!
We don't know that much about Sarai in canon, sadly, and we know nothing about Callum's father or that side of his family, and both of them, plus Viren's relationship with Sarai, are going to play a big part at some point. It's a bit of an info dump, but I needed some background laid out and Claudia was happy to help.
I don't think canon Viren thought of Sarai quite like this, but I saw some resentment brewing when Harrow didn't want to leave Amaya, and Sarai, behind when they went to go help Duren.

Quarter after three(CH)

Summary: Calum can’t hide that he’s in love with best friend anymore.
Words: 2468
Warnings: cursing, smut
A/N: 3:15 by Bazzi inspired this. I love best friends to lovers, idk 🤷🏻‍♀️
Calum’s leg shook anxiously as they finished up interviews and PR stuff for day, but he couldn’t get his mind off of her. Every time they’ve been in Chicago, he had been tempted to go visit. They were two hours from the university she attended, and it was driving Calum crazy that he literally could get in a car and drive to her. He had been missing her like crazy even though it had been more than a year since their last encounter. Megan, his ex girlfriend, had gotten upset at their closeness and all the traveling made it impossible for him to visit.
“Hey, I’m gonna go somewhere.” He grabbed a bag and put some clothes on it before grabbing his wallet and making way out of the bus.
“Bro, we have to catch a fight at 8 tomorrow morning.” Luke stood in front him, trying to block his way out.
“Let him go, you ass.” Ashton laughed and punched his shoulder lightly “He just wants a private place to fuck Meg in peace.”
“I’m not going to see her. Bye.” Calum groaned and laughed at their crude jokes before he perished through them and towards his Uber.
The drive down seemed to last longer than two hours, his head rolling with thoughts of what she’d say about his impromptu visit. Would she be living in the same dorm? Is she dating anybody? He laughed at his silliness and rubbed his face while the driver signaled they were there. Calum got off the car and walked towards her building, smiling when he caught the sign that read ‘Knock or I’ll beat your ass, even if you live here’
Three knocks and a shaky breath later, the door opened to a beautiful girl with her hair in a bun and a long loose t-shirt that went to the tops of her thighs. Her eyes went wide at the sight of Calum and her cheeks blushed a deep red as she tried to pull the shirt lower.
“Hi.” He spoke softly as his eyes trailed her body.
“Hi.” Her response came seconds later as she watched him. It’d only been a year, but she could tell he’d grown in the way the jacket strained on his biceps and his big hands grasped the bag in them. The color in his hair made him look so much attractive than she’d thought before. But she couldn’t bring herself to say anything.
“Uh, come in.” She stepped aside and walked him through the flat, opening the door to her room and letting him in. Her roommate called from the kitchen and she excused herself. Calum nodded and sat on the bed before he got up and looked at the picture frames on the nightstand and the wall. A couple of them were of just them two from her time in LA, and the others were from the times she’d visited the band on tour. Calum smiled at what he knew was the last picture they’d taken together. Luke and Ashton had caught them watching movies and cuddling together; he was throwing popcorn at her mouth as they sat with their legs crossed in front of each other. He sighed as he recalled that being the night she told them she was transferring and the night Megan told him to stay away from her. At first, Calum laughed it off and told her that she was just being jealous and there was nothing to worry about; but having her stayed away with no phone calls made him realize that he actually felt something deeper for her. It might’ve been too late, he thought. But he had driven two hours just to see her.
“I forget you’re the king of impromptu visits, Hood.” She walked in and locked the door, pulling Calum out of his thoughts. She sat on the bed and rubbed her feet as she the tv on for background noise.
“Yeah, I guess.” He chuckled lightly and rubbed the back of neck, a nervous gesture she knew far too well.
“Listen-“
“I’m sorry I-“ They spoke at the same time and laughed, Calum taking a seat next to her.
“Is Megan here?” The question came out before she could think it through.
“No, we’re not really a thing anymore.” Calum shrugged and played with the rings on his fingers.
“Well I guess I can’t expect you to be okay with not getting laid.” The dry laugh she gave him made him cringe “All the paparazzi pics still picture you two together and she hangs around the group.”
“She’s friends with Sierra and Crystal. Can’t really stay away.” She nodded as they sat in silence and he shrugged.
“Why are you here Calum?” Her hand tucked a loose strand of her behind her ear as he bit his lower lip and admired the beautiful girl in front him. She was in nothing but a long t-shirt and no makeup, yet she was the most beautiful girl he’d ever laid eyes on. He placed a hand on her cheek as she leaned into the warmth of his calloused hands and sighed, her eyes closing.
“Because it drove me fucking insane that I hadn’t seen in you in a year and I couldn't stand the fact that I’d lost my best friend over a dumb girl who couldn’t understand our friendship and our past. And most importantly because I can’t hide my feelings for you anymore.” Before he could change his mind, Calum closed the space between them and leaned in for a kiss. The butterflies in his stomach began to flutter as her lips pressed against his in a soft yet passionate kiss. Her hands found themselves against his cheeks before he pulled back, caressing her jaw as she opened her eyes.
“I can’t do this again, Cal.” Her fingers traced her lips where they tingled from his and even though those words came out of her mouth, all she wanted to do was press her lips to his again and stay like that for as long she had him.
“I can’t stay away from you, angel.” The nickname slipped from his lips with ease as he caresses her jaw and neck once more “I’ve had to hold back from driving or flying all the way here just to see you. Home isn’t the same. And no matter what, no LA girl could compare to you. You’re fucking money without even trying. I mean, look at you. Nothing but a t-shirt on but you still blow my mind.” She noticed the way his cheeks flushed as he spoke and she smiled before attaching their lips again, this time moving them so she was straddling his lap.
“Why did we think that staying friends would work?” She whispered against his lips as her hands pinched his cheeks.
“We’ve always been best friends before anything, but fifteen year old me wasn’t sure that he’d want to fuck only one girl for the rest of his life.” Calum shrugged as his hands gripped her waist on top of him.
“I hate your dirty mouth, hood.”
“We both very well know you don’t.” Calum flipped them over and almost caused them to fall over from the small bed. She erupted in a fit of giggles as he kissed all over face before looking right in her eyes and biting her lower lip. They kissed like they hadn’t in a long time, and Calum now regretted all the times he made her cry and all the girls he’d brought over in front of her. They had made a pact that they’d always be friends, but somehow his love for her never went away and he craved what felt like home in a world where things were constantly changing. She kept him grounded and reminded him of who he was when he began to get lost in his thoughts while traveling constantly.
“Earth to Hood.” Her small hands found themselves underneath his shirt and he groaned as she lightly ran her nails on his back “Watcha ya thinking about?”
“Just how you’ve always been my home, and now I know why this year had been so hard without you in it.” He hid his face in the crook of her neck and began to leave wet, open mouthed kisses as she smiled before a low moan left her lips. Calum’s hands began to wander up the shirt, noticing how she wore nothing but panties and a sports bra. His fingers travelled from her thigh to her stomach and underneath the band of the bra. He looked up at her in search of a sign to stop, but instead she helped him remove the shirt and laid underneath him as he removed the leather jacket and hoodie he wore. After sharing a few more kisses and clothes being removed, She laid underneath him with her legs on either side of him and his hands were massaging her boobs before kissing lightly down her chest and stomach, to the hem of her panties.
“These have to come off now.” He whispered and lifted her legs to help her remove the lace fabric. With a few kisses to her thigh, he moved his head to her core and began to lick at her folds as he placed her thighs on his shoulders.
“Oh fuck, I forgot the things you could do with your tongue.” She tried to move above him, but one of Calum’s hands held her against the bed by her lower stomach. He chuckled and held his tongue flat on her clit, the vibrations sending a new wave of pleasure through her body.
“Want my fingers too, babygirl?” She looked down at him and nodded before he got up and stuck his index and middle fingers in her mouth, watching the way her eyes stayed on him as she licked and sucked on them. After that, Calum went back to work on her clit as he started with one finger; her head falling back on the pillow as she arched her back when his finger reached her g-spot. He pulled his finger out and inserted both that time, her hips bucking up to help her reach her high as Calum sucked and licked on her clit.
“Shit, Calum.” She moaned as her hands held on to his while her legs shook slightly as Calum fingered her through her orgasm. He moved up from between her legs and kissed her lips as he hovered above her. The clicking of a belt surprised him as she undid it and took his hard dick in her hands as she pushed his pants down and guided him to her core.
“I want to feel you.” He groaned at her words when he felt the tip of his dick rubbing her clot before lining up st her entrance and pushing in slightly. They both moaned at the pleasure of being like this again after so much time. Calum thrust in and out slowly while he kissed her lips and neck and she scratched his back when he hit a particular spot.
“I’m gonna come.” Calum pulled out and her hands wrapped around his dick as she helped him get to his high, spilling all over her stomach as he whispered her name and laid beside her while kissing her cheek and holding her hand.
“I’m gonna get cleaned up.” She whispered after they had caught their breath and she have Calum a kiss on the cheek as she walked off to her bathroom and left him alone to his thoughts.
He wanted to know how she felt about what had just happened. It wasn’t him being lonely while on tour, or him wanting a rebound. He truly loved her and he wanted her to know. Maybe having sex on the first time they had seen each other in so long hadn’t been his best idea, but it was the best he’d ever had.
When she returned in nothing but a towel and picked up his shirt from the pile of clothes on her floor, his mouth fell open at the way she looked in his clothes with damp hair and swollen lips.
“I’ll leave all my shirts if you’ll look this damn good in all of them.” He smiled and pulled her body towards his as she cuddled next to him and turned the volume of the television up. She returned the smile as they began to talk about how the tour had been so far and all the promo they’d been doing. He confessed that a lot of his songwriting had to do with his pent up feelings for her and she kissed him hard at this confession.
After a while they laid there and he noticed the clock on her nightstand read 3AM, a sigh leaving his lips as he closed his eyes and tried to enjoy the moment before he had to leave again. He took in her smile and the curve of her lips; the color on her eyes and the way her hair curled when it dried. He tried to remember the burn her warm lips caused on his skin and the way her nails had racked down his back.
“You have to leave soon, don’t you?” She asked, he hands still in his on his chest.
“Plane leaves at 8 back to LA.” She nodded on his chest before she looked up and placed her chin on his warm chest “If it was up to me, I’d fly you out there with a one way ticket.” He smirked and she laughed lightly.
“No shiny diamond ring? It is valentines day after all.” They both laughed as she pinched her cheek and they talked some more. It was now almost 4AM and time for him to call an Uber for the ride to the airport, but he wanted nothing more than just lay there with her as she traced the shapes of his chest tattoo.
“Me leaving doesn’t mean this will end. Seeing you smile and happy like this makes me want to stay here, but we both know I can’t.” She smiled and nodded, but her eyes did have a hint of sadness “I will fly out here as much as I want and i promise to fly you out as much too. I meant it when I said that girls back home are nothing compared to you. And after tonight, I want no one else but you.” They kissed and laid in silence until he really had to leave. They shared kisses and light touches, his fingers itching to remember the way her soft skin felt against him.
Calum’s flight back was him in his feels about the night he’d spent with her cuddled in her small college dorm and how he wanted nothing but to be back there with her.
