✰          META  /  HEADCANON          :          MISCELLANEOUS   INFORMATION.
Tumblr media
guinevere jones  (  the series , not the character  )  is a fantasy television series and a series of four novels created by elizabeth stewart .   it revolves around the adventures of the title character as she uses magic to fight evil , while at the same time dealing with problems and difficulties of high school .   the show debuted in canada on may 4 , 2002 on ytv and ten days later in australia . it ran for twenty-six episodes over two seasons , and was later adapted into four novels published by random house australia .   as the show is on the verge of being considered lost media , only a few clips and episodes online remaining , my blog is mostly novelization and headcanon based .   below is some information about gwen , things i consider important and other more mundane .   the following is a combination of my own personal headcanons , but also information available in the novels .
gwen jones was born on november 2nd 1984 , in toronto , ontario , canada .   since her birthday and specific birth place were never stated in the books , i have decided to give her the same birthday and birth place as her actress , tamara hope / lindeman .   gwen is a scorpio , a sign many joke suits her well as she is unpredictable and passionate .
gwen's first name was decided by her father , and her second by karen .   as stated in the book , her father was the one who suggested they call her gwen , aware that his daughter would turn out to be guinevere's newest reincarnation .   karen gave her the second name amanda after her own mother .   latin in origin , the name is a feminine form of the saint's name amandus , from the word amandus , future passive participle of amāre (  "to love"  )  :  thus meaning "who/which is to be loved" .   this second name and the fact she does not disclose it is the reason why she believed amanda , in choices / love and other magic , when she claimed she was karen's sister , in spite of being usually cautious .
karen wasn't at first aware of patrick's plan and association with morgan .   when she realized it , she immediately went on the run , giving birth to gwen while in toronto .   after the birth of her daughter , they kept on moving all over canada , finally moving to australia when gwen turned fourteen years old .
because she was constantly on the run her entire life , gwen has a difficult time forming emotional attachment towards anyone but her mother .   since it was always the two of them , she had learned very early on not to get attached , although she knew she would never have the time to .   as a result , she can seem cold and detached , unless her mother is mentioned .   by the end of her series , however , she has formed attachments to many people , including her group of friends as well as her foster family , kathy included .
after the events of the show / books , the jones decide to stay in australia rather than return to canada   .   this means gwen continues to attend griffin secondary school , close to melbourne .   although she uses australian expressions , she speaks with a canadian accent , and occasionally uses words specific to toronto .   karen also makes sure to rent a flat close to the rosens , since both her and gwen consider harve , louise and kathy as part of their family .   staying close to the rosens also allows gwen to remain close to her friends , which she is grateful for .
because they were constantly on the run and had to move often , gwen has very few personal possessions , mostly clothes .   she is used to having little , but feels like it is just one more reason as to why she is different from other girls her age .   as a result , she tends to wear the same clothes over and over again , even though harve and louise make sure to buy her clothes whenever they can .
speaking of her foster family , gwen warmed up easier to harve than louise , although she comes to love and appreciate them both .   there are two reasons for this  :  first , since harve is a man , she didn't feel like he would come and try to take karen's position away .   since she was always told she simply did not have a father , the idea of a father figure through foster care made her feel a little more normal , unlike a mother which she already had .   the second reason is because harve made it clear from the get go that she didn't have to be kathy's older sister if she didn't want to , something she appreciated .   upon understanding louise had no intention of replacing karen , gwen also warmed up to her , coming to view them as part of her family by the end of the series .
albeit she doesn't put too much effort in it , gwen's favorite subject in school is english , and particularly literature .   she is a good writer and can easily express her ideas on paper , however , her handwriting is particularly messy , which o' leary exploits in order to gain her trust .   the fact she recognizes it is difficult to read , as well as her inhability to buy a computer for herself is why she takes o' leary's offer to give her his without giving a second thought , albeit she argues with him she shouldn't take it based on moral principles .
because they moved all over canada , and because it is part of the curiculum , gwen can speak french on a conversational level .   she is by no means an expert , but having french classes and having lived in québec and new brunswick a couple of times , she can understand a good portion of it .    however , she cannot understand complicated words , certain expressions as well as some accents .
gwen is not particularly knowledgable when it comes to modern popular culture  .   since she only ever really hung out with her mother until she befriended tasha and the rest of her friends in australia , she has no clue what is popular with kids her age .   she tries to keep up with trends in an attempt to be / seem as normal as possible in spite of her circumstances , but it is difficult for her to do so when she is continually on the move and does not get the time to go to the movies , concerts , etc.   some find this lack of understanding charming and proof of her being mature , but gwen finds it shameful as it is yet another reminder she is not like everyone else .   this lack of knowledge is also why she didn't know about king arthur's legend and guinevere until moving to australia and meeting both tasha and merlin .
though she has a crush on josh first and then michael , gwen isn't a particularly romantic person .   she experiences attraction the same way other heterosexual girls her age do , but has yet to figure out she is pansexual .   since she has difficulty forming emotional attachments , she never really had the time to develop crushes and date until josh .   she also views romance as a total waste of time , which is one of the few things that seperates her from the original guinevere .
while it is hinted in the series , gwen's attraction to michael is not merely because of the fact he might be lancelot's reincarnation .   she just thinks he is a kind and gentle soul underneath the brooding and anger , and their past also makes it easier for her to relate to him .   suggesting she merely likes him because of lancelot is the best way to make her angry , and also part of the reason why she doesn't pursue a relationship with him .
also , having met tamara lindeman myself and witnessed this , gwen is of average height for her age .   she currently is five feet two , but will go on to grow up to five feet six .
and that covers everything i have to say for now   .   the reason why i sound a bit zealous at times through this post is that i wish to offer my followers a nuanced portrayal of one of my favorite characters of all times while honoring elizabeth's creation and its meaning for the author and the actress who acted as gwen .   it’s , after all , the least i can do if you ask me .

In the safety of the Reef, you know no war. You only know your family, the feel of the ocean on your skin, the feel of the wind blowing through your hair. You know only simple things, the barely there shine of the sun, a reprieve from where you are covered by your sister. You are the moon and she is the sun, and you are destined to live like this. You had long since given up any hopes of a mate until the Forest People arrive, on their colorful flying ikrans.
Ronal does not like them. Tonowari respects them. Tsireya is entranced, Ao’nung sees them as new market to tease. With your family divided, you do not know how to feel about them. Until you See them, the parents of this family, Jake Sully and Neytiri, and the sun suddenly feels so much brighter.
But your heart never know the future. It is in the hands of Eywa, but you cannot give your heart to these strangers knowing it could hurt.
But, it seems this strange man and woman have other plans.

RED ROSES.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
1.3k words, and a whole lot of fluff.
Tumblr media
Red roses were your favorite.
He knew that.
They reminded him of you.
Anything that had to do with roses—it was made for you in his eyes.
That is how he won you over in the end.
Han Jisung gave you roses.
Tumblr media
He would leave them everywhere for you.
You’d find pedals in your bag, roses on the windshield of your car with little notes on them wishing you a good day… and those few times he would leave them at your doorstep or hand them to you directly.
Most people would find his kind of thing strange, but you knew better.
Especially since you knew what it meant.
Han Jisung was your best friend.
The two of you had been inseparable since you both were kids and you had no intention of ever letting him go.
Once when you guys were in the first grade, Han brought you a rose.
Jisung spent a week or so trying to figure out what you liked in order to properly ask you out. It got to the point that he went to ask his mother for help, and she found the whole ordeal of her son having a little crush to be adorable. She would go out of her way, taking Han to the grocery store to buy flowers.
When he asked the cashier if he could have just one rose out of a bouquet, the lady looked at him confused. His mother whispered the explanation to the girl, and she just laughed. Jisung stood there with his little boba eyes filled with hope and the woman couldn’t say no.
“Just take it,” she would say, taking a flower from one of the bouquets and handing it to him. “Just don’t tell anyone, okay? It’ll be our little secret.”
The next day he walked into school gripping the rose stem with all the might his little body could—holding his head up high.
Han Jisung asked you if you would be his forever and ever. But of course you said no, I mean afterall you were like seven years old and most boys had cooties at that age.
But when six-year-old Han went back to class after recess and you saw him almost cry… something inside you decided to cut him a break.
As you both waited for your moms to pick you after school, you went up to him and made a promise.
“I'll do it when we’re older,” you said. “My parents tell me I’m too young to have a partner right now. But when we’re older I promise I’ll say yes.”
He held onto your words for 17 years.
At first it was just childish hope. And by the time you guys got to high school and you got your first significant other, Han had already accepted his fate. He thought maybe he was holding onto some kind of impossible dream, but still held onto your words with a heavy heart.
Eventually he got a partner.
And another… And another… And another…
But no one was ever right for him.
No one was you.
Han Jisung was stuck in an impossible unrequited love circle forced upon him by no one else but himself.
That was until you both were adults and the dating pool became a little dry for you.
You were going on dates but every person was the same; they all wanted one thing. And when you found solitude at Jisung’s dorm one night after crying your eyes out, all he could think about was your promise as children.
That is when his rose brigade began, and your heart began to swell.
You started to dream of roses and all things beautiful and red.
You’d soon dream of Jisung too, not knowing what it meant.
Did you like him? Did you love him?
I mean of course you did but… was there something more?
Han Jisung appeared in your dream one day while you were napping.
You had just gotten back from work. You were tired, exhausted even. Another rose was found on your doorstep as you walked into your apartment.
You’d clutch onto it, falling onto the couch and practically cuddling up to it as you fell into a deep slumber.
And there he was; Han Jisung laid out in a field of roses in a sea of darkness.
You walked to him slowly. Every flower you stepped on as you made your way in front of him would regrow in your wake. It was like because Han was there, nothing could die or disintegrate—only flourish and grow. He was like a magnet, attracting him to you with such a mysterious yet comforting aura.
When you made it to him, a hand of his was placed on your cheek. You’d close your eyes and lean into his touch… Only opening your eyes when you could feel him start to lean in.
It was in that moment you knew. The burning feeling inside your chest everytime he laughed at one of your jokes, the mesmerizing stars you’d love seeing in his eyes whenever you’d compliment his music, how with each rose you received you could never ask him to stop giving them to you…
Just as you were about to give into instinct and kiss him with the intensity of all the love in the world combined into a singular molecular being—he began to fall.
He slipped right through the roses, falling into an abyss while looking at you with the most longing eyes.
What was this? What was happening? What did this represent?
Were you too late? Was the universe trying to tell you something? Did it take you too long to figure out your feelings and this was signifying that he no longer could feel the same towards you?
You had awoken from your dream due to the sound of thunder.
Heavy breathing and a quick clutch of the rose in your hand brought you back to reality with a bizarre conclusion.
You loved him. You were in love with Han Jisung. And hopefully he would love you back.
For the next several minutes that was all you could think about, until you saw a hooded figure holding a skateboard walk up to your door in the pouring rain.
You knew that hoodie, you’d bought it for Han for Christmas last year, and within seconds you rushed to the door.
When it opened, Han flinched immediately.
“I wasn’t expecting you to be home.”
He was drenched head to toe from the rain but seemed as if he could care less about it. He looked down at the rose you were gripping onto for dear life in your hand and sighed with relief.
“Oh thank god. When it started raining I got worried the flower would get ruined. I literally rode my board all the way here hoping it wasn’t destroyed yet. I almost got you a new one. I mean I still can if it got too wet. I don’t know when you got home if it started raining yet. If it got messed up in any way I can run down to the grocery store and—”
You kissed him.
His pretty little lips wouldn’t shut up so you kissed him. You kissed Han Jisung.
It was so abrupt Jisung almost dropped the skateboard he held under his arm due to the surprise. You don’t know what came over you or how you gained enough confidence to just do something like that, but you knew you couldn't let him slip away. Not again.
When you pulled away, all Han could see were stars. His eyes were so big and full with confusion and lust. His lips followed yours out of instinct and you let out the softest little laugh. God how he loved your laugh.
“Come in,” you whispered, tucking the rose in your hand behind his ear. “I’ll let you leave once you're dry. Plus I think we have a lot to talk about.”
You grabbed his hand, leading him into your home. And as he walked in and saw every rose he had given you—some new and some older and starting to wilt—all placed in a big vase sitting on your kitchen table, he knew.
Han Jisung loved you. And you loved Han Jisung.

That one missed lecture
part 3 to That one Christmas flight
summary: After a missed moment, both parties are trying to contemplate what to do next.
warnings: crushing hard, cheesy af, swear words I guess, typos probably, slow burn let's just admit that
Tumblr media
"A what?"
Surely she must have misheard Teresa. Yes. Lando has been on Y/N's mind so much these past few days that she has officially lost it.
"Sorry, not what. Who?"
"I dunno, apparently this like formula racer or something. I don't really understand it - so like we were at Al Bricco right, as usual. And there was this guy who seemed to be super into that sport and he totally freaked out. Like, the racer guy just went in and immediately left, kind of embarrassing. He like proper asked for a photo and shit. And after the racer guy left, this dude was so high off that he paid for everyone's drinks at the bar. Was nice! Shame you had the thing you had, or whatever."
Yes. Or whatever. Y/N made up some excuse for last evening, so mundane even she forgot what it was.
It was Monday afternoon after the Imola weekend. The philosophy lesson was about to start in few minutes. Y/N cursed Teresa for keeping this one tiny detail about yesterday. For fuck's sake, they'd already had two classes together today! Plenty of opportunity to mention this. Nobody famous ever came to Bologna. Y/N would expect Teresa to make it a bigger deal. But then again, usually it would not be a big deal for neither of you.
"Yeah, shame I didn't order a bottle instead of a glass," Teresa proclaimed.
"Did you see him? The racer guy?"
"Yeah. He looked like a guy, honestly nothing special about him."
"Do you know like his name or the team?"
"No, the fuck would I know that. You're focusing on the wrong thing - you missed a fun night with free drinks."
Y/N felt like her mind just got the DRS.
There were 20 drivers on the grid - the chances were low. Y/N overcame her initial shock and tried to focus on the lecture that was about to start.
For some reason Hegel's Lord-bondsman dialectic was not able to win in the battle for Y/N's attention today. Since Teresa was of little help, Y/N turned to social media. Surely, this fan must have shared his photo online. And then, once she finally discovers the photo of Ocon or Tsunoda, she will be abel to return back to her actual real problems instead of her schoolgirl crush.
They say if you need to find the "corpus delicti" these days, ask a woman to scan social media. Source more powerful than FBI.
Y/N had to excuse herself after staring at a photo of Lando's fake smile while standing in her favorite bar. Pacing around was required right now. After all, show us a problem that can't be fixed by maniacally walking around the block seven hundred times.
In her favorite bar. Lando was in her bar. In a bar, where she would have been, hadn't it been for her actually trying to track down Lando. Out of all the places on this gigantic planet. In. Her. Favorite. Bar. Must have been some random game of destiny. Y/N was getting real mad at destiny. She cursed the stupid Christmas tradition, she cursed ever getting herself involved with formula 1.
She cursed herself for missing him. In both meanings of the word.
//
Lando forgot when exactly had his burner account turned completely Bologna centered. But it was impossible to escape that city. So he decided to leave that account be for a while.
His fitness trainer must have been happy with him. Lando burned his the tension and confused mix of feelings in his session like his life depended on it. He went on to stream in his free time to check in on his friends, who seemed a bit confused on where his head had been lately. In the course of few days, life got back on track. Y/N slowly leaving his mind and he parting with it peacefully. Yet every was covered under a gray cloud of nothingness.
It was a simulator day for him. He was supposed be testing new configurations. Lando was never really good at simulators, it completely lacked the realness of it, so he had to push himself to stay professional and be a proper teammate.
"I'm just not sure about this breaking set up," he commented quietly, perhaps even more to himself than others after missing another turn. His engineer however picked up on it and started to get into super detailed explanation on why they wanted him to use this configuration and did not fail to mention how great it job it did for Oscar this morning. Lando simply nodded and did not bother to engage in eye contact. He was in no mood for this debate and kept staring at the screen. Just let it all flow by him. This engineer had been on the team for quite some time, so he did not hesitate to try and cheer him up.
"Come on, man. You can't just sit there. The car won't start if you don't go for it, you know?" he said as a joke. When Lando did not respond, he began to second guess his judgement. "Or we could just take a break, what ever suits you."
Lando took a deep breath. "No, you're right. I can't just sit here and do nothing." He turned to his engineer with a different more energetic look. "When I crash, we just start again next time, am I right?"
"That's my boy!"
//
Y/N woke up the next morning to suspiciously large amount of notifications on her Instagram account. Someone liked every single one of her pictures and few of those where she was tagged and commented on one of her selfies "nice". Curious to what this was about, she went and checked the profile out. The only thing present on it was a black and white photo with some random numbers and letters. Ok, so nothing. Just some random weirdo or a drunken joke of one the uni friends. Because for a single moment she allowed her intrusive thoughts in - and expected Lando's account to be the one liking it.
Contemplating breaking the rule and reaching out to him was the only thing occupying her yesterday's evening. But what good would that do, his account probably being run by some PR people who would dismiss it as just another fangirl trying her chances. She thought a photo might be more helpful, but it was just the same thing all over again. No, she missed her chance and it was time to start moving on.
Her usual morning brain fog breaking espresso at a coffee bar in the centre did it's job well. A lot of paragraphs she was due to write were waiting on her. Only one lecture in the afternoon. A nice calm day to spend in one of the libraries. She loved Bologna. Great food and ever-present history has cured many crushes through out the ages.
"also nice" -another notification from the same account. Y/N contemplated blocking it, but it just seemed rude, so she just silenced her phone.
When took her phone out to listen to some music on the way to her lecture, she had three more comment.
"very nice" -appeared under a photo from one of her dinner parties with the local students.
"why no smile?" -it was a selfie, so what?
"thought you were the smart one, but starting to doubt that" - written under a random photo of Bologna's stunning libraries. So what, she enjoyed aesthetics too.
The one comment questioning her brain capacity stuck in head whole the way to her lecture. What the fuck was that about. Why was anyone spending their time so uselessly. The only thing on that profile was picture with some JL043 mash of letters. She had more important things to do.
A loud ding of her comments notification interrupted the lecture in the middle of it. She gave an apologetic look to her already grumpy professor.
"check my followers"
She sighed. That's it, she'll have a look and then block this asshole out.
Her heart sank when she saw that the only account this one was following was the Japan Airlines. JL043. The Christmas flight.
Y/N has already left one lecture because of Lando this week, so she was not about to it for the second time. But she might have as well done that, seeing she would not have been able to repeat a single point from this lecture.
//
Lando was not a patient man. Especially not after he has decided on something. And he decided on contacting Y/N. With the newfound fire in his veins, another burner account was created - can't let her see he was following every single one of her friends, bit weird. Well, once you've started you might as well finish it. Lando was happy that he did not posses any serial killer tendencies.
He was also a cheeky boy, not about to make it easy for anyone. Had to be fun.
So he liked all her pictures and put few comments. When she did not respond immediately in the morning, he continued. And again, and again. In the later afternoon, Y/N's account followed his and smile on Lando's face followed after that.
A message appeared shortly after.
"Hey you..."

Story Description
Joe and y/n have been best friends for as long as they can remember. That's what happens when your moms have been best friends since high school and raised their kids together. Joe and y/n were inseparable, so much so that when the time came to pick a college to go to, they both picked OSU. When Joe transferred to LSU, y/n went right along with him.
The thing is, both of them had hidden feelings for one another but were too scared to say anything. y/n was terrified that if she told Joe that she had somewhat of a crush on him, he wouldn't feel the same, and their friendship would be ruined. Joe had the same fear, that y/n would say she didn't feel the same way and that their friendship wouldn't ever be the same. The pair graduated from LSU, and neither of them had confessed, they both hoped they could move on and just suppress the feelings they had.
Joe of course was drafted to the Cincinnati Bengals so he was moving back home to where his parents and y/n's parents were. y/n got a job and stayed in Louisiana. Two years later, they eventually lost contact due to being busy with their everyday lives when y/n got the news that the place she was working at was shutting down. "Time to move back home!" her mom told her.
She did what her mom suggested and moved back to Ohio. Will all of those feelings that were able to be suppressed stay in the past? Or.. will they resurface?

Hi for ships, if you don’t mine what do you think of Snape/Narcissa/Lucius and also Snape with each of them individually?
thank you very much for the ask, anon!
lucius malfoy/severus snape
i've answered this one here.
narcissa malfoy/severus snape
i sincerely, sincerely believe that this is implied by canon - not only because the unbreakable vow scene is so intimate but because it's so sensual, but also because narcissa is the only plausible candidate for voldemort to be speaking about in his final confrontation with harry, in response to harry bringing up that snape loved his mother:
He desired her, that was all, but when she had gone, he agreed that there were other women, and of purer blood, worthier than him.
there is, i think, no universe in which snape and voldemort are sitting down for a little casual chat about girls, and there's also no universe in which voldemort would care about snape having a crush on any random woman, pureblood or not. but, if voldemort suspected that snape had a thing - whether or not that thing was requited and/or consummated - with narcissa, then he finds himself able to humiliate snape, narcissa, lucius, draco, bellatrix, and the memory of lily in one fell swoop, and it would - therefore - be information he would go out of his way to uncover.
[that voldemort is lying is, of course, the other potential here. but something that's very striking across the seven-book canon is that - since the narrative usually needs him to provide information to harry that either snape or dumbledore couldn't reveal without blowing their series-long arcs, he usually speaks the truth whenever he appears in person in the text.]
and i think, as with snucius, you have very interesting potential for narcissa to be one of the few people who sees and knows the "real" snape - there is the heavy implication in spinner's end that she recognises that snape is not blindly loyal to voldemort [in the way, for example, that bellatrix is], even if she doesn't doubt his commitment to the death eaters' cause. she evidently trusts and respects him. and she clearly values his wider relationship with her family.
i think you can do a lot with that, especially during the period in which lucius is in prison and narcissa probably needs a little hurt/comfort...
lucius malfoy/narcissa malfoy/severus snape
yes. they saw him across the slytherin table and they liked his vibe.

Robin and Steve both failing at love so badly as they get well into their thirties and deciding to just marry each other since they’ve already been living together since they were 20 and share a mortgage. Steve had original planned to just have Robin as his roommate until she found someone, and he had like seven kids coming and going but would be out to college in just two years, so a decently sized place (much smaller than his original, empty mansion) filled with Robin’s knickknacks didn’t sound half bad when he was 20 and making the plan to use his inheritance to make the down payment.
They go through the whole she-bang; mostly because Steve always wanted a big wedding and Robin had assumed she’d never have one so she simply made it a big party they could both enjoy. Everyone was invited, and people who didn’t know Robin was a lesbian said their congrats, that they always saw it coming, and they both bare through it with false grins and sneaky eye rolls.
It’s an excuse to get drunk and confess their undying platonic love for each other, even if the ceremonies kiss was awkward and quick, the pair snickering about it later like teenagers even though Robin had kissed Steve plenty of times on the cheeks and Steve on her head when he left for work.
They’re 36 and 37 when Steve asks Robin if she ever considered kids of her own. Robin goes on a long spiel about how terrifying child birth seems but like, she was raised to want one you know? That having a kid is both terrifying but weirdly comforting as an idea.
Steve agrees. They get hammered beyond belief at 37 & 38 and fumble through the most awkward sex know to mankind and they cry-laugh for weeks about each others sex habits and how bad they both are in bed because “let’s never do that again, oh my god, I definitely like girls, Steve” and Steve’s not even offended because it was purely for one purpose and while he likes girls, Robin doesn’t do it for him. Not like that. Not since he was maybe 19 and had a weird lingering crush on her that faded after she came out and he started experimenting with guys.
Steve’s 38 when he finds out he’s gonna be a dad. He cries. A lot. Robin does too, mostly because she’s cries when he does, like how his laughter infects her too.
They argue a lot over the design of the nursery, and Robin complains that she’s too old to be carrying a baby as Steve rubs her feet while they watch a movie.
Robin sleeps in his room more often during the pregnancy. Says it helps her nerves, because she overthinks a lot and it’s kind of terrifying because there’s no going back now. They’re having a kid. An actual human being they’ll have to raise together. A lesbian woman and a bisexual man who are strictly platonic with a capital P, are having a baby in their late thirties, and are married by law but not by heart, and it’s kind of crazy to think about.
“I never imagined my life like this.”
“Honestly, Rob? Neither did I.”
Robin starts attending swim classes with pregnant ladies after El insists it helped her through hers, and there’s where she meets Heather Holloway again. She’s a full time swim instructor at the pool now, unmarried and thriving, and Robin has the biggest heart eyes known to man over her.
Steve hears all about her and encourages her to test the waters with Heather.
“Steve, I’m literally carrying your baby. Don’t you think that’s weird?”
“Say it’s an open marriage if she asks. I sleep around still, why can’t you?”
It’s enough to convince her to follow her heart. Heather is around the house a lot more after that, just to check in on Robin’s pregnancy of course, she must be exhausted after all!
Steve knows Heather is fucking his wife/best friend. Robin had a dopey grin on when she told him. Heather doesn’t beat around the bush either about Steve and Robin’s relationship.
“So Robin’s a lesbian, you’re gay, and you’re basically each other’s platonic soulmates right? So you got married?”
“I’m bi, but yeah. Basically. I can’t see myself living without her, honestly. She’s my soulmate just not…romantically, you know?”
“I get it.” Heather grins when she goes on about a certain blond up in California who’s planning to come visit real soon. That Steve should meet him.
Steve is shocked to see Billy Hargrove again; Heather’s own platonic soulmate.
“I mean, we fooled around once or twice back in the day, but that’s because he has mommy issues, not because he wants to settle down with me.” She joked and Billy has a ball flirting with Harrington until he’s red in the face like a teenager again instead of an almost 40 year old man.
Robin has a girl in the Summer. They name her June, the month she was born and the month they met decades ago. It feels fitting.
Of course, June ends up with a step mom, Heather, who somehow worms her way into their house. Steve’s got the room for it, so he’s not complaining. He likes a full house, likes knowing his daughter is being cared for when he’s at work by Robin and Heather (when she’s not working).
Somehow, Billy worms his way in too. It starts with visiting to see his ‘niece’ as he’d joke with a wide grin. Then slowly, he’s joining them for dinner more nights than he doesn’t, and the guest room starts to fill with his things and Steve catches Billy bathing June because Heather and Robin were exhausted and needed the rest and…
God, he’s falling in love with the blond, deep and so much harder than back in high school. Falls in love with the smile lines around his mouth and eyes, the silvery greys that streak his dark blond hair he cut shorter a few years back. Falls in love with the way he laughs at Robin’s jokes and snarks with Heather and coos at June, calling her ‘daddy’s little princess’ as he bounces her in his arms, Steve watching and always blushing when Billy catches his eye and grins, kissing the tuffs of light brown hair upon her head.
Robin tells him to go for it.
“To think we finally met our romantic soulmates after getting married and having a kid, this has to be God’s way of pulling our legs.” She snickers as they cuddle in Steve’s bed. Because that’s just how they were, touchy and close, and Steve loves her so much. She’s his best friend and the mother of his kid and he doesn’t regret marrying her at all. They’re not in love with each other, but they love each other.
Robins in love with Heather.
And Steve is pretty sure he’s in love with Billy.
“Maybe we should get married.” Billy says one night at dinner, driving an airplane towards June’s mouth. “Robin and Steve got a bunch of benefits. I want benefits. We could do our taxes together.” Heather laughs and looks at Robin.
“You think I should marry him? I could do better, right?” Robin snorts.
“He smells like a dirty gym bag.”
“Your husband likes how I smell.” Billy wriggled his brows and Steve flushed red as the words, head in his hands.
“Not in front of Junie, please.”
“She’s like, not even a year old. It’s fine.” Billy waved it off. “Back to the tax benefits,”
“It is easier when you’re married, in my opinion.” Robin chipped in and Heather sighs, long and loud before looking at Billy.
“…Fine. I want a nice ring though.”
“Well so do I, so I say we have a deal, babe.”
Steve thought he’d be jealous, at least a bit, but he’s grinning when Billy makes a show of dipping Heather at the altar, the pair laughing after their obnoxious kiss that has Robin and Max hollering.
June is cooing and squealing when she gets to dance with Billy and Steve later that night, clinging to her father and grasping at Billy’s curls that are starting to grow out again. Steve thinks he might be doing it just for him since he said he liked them, and it makes his stomach wild with butterflies.
“We should get married next.” Billy hums and Steve chokes on his own spit.
“You’ve barely taken me on a date, and now you’re talking marriage?”
“Didn’t take Robin on a date, now did you?” Billy grins, holding him close around his waist. “Come on, Harrington. Robin and you, Heather and me. Robin and Heather, you and me…it all works. We’re far from conventional. I’ve fucked Heather more than once, I’ve heard Heather talk about jumping you to her own girlfriend, and I know you want me.” He knocks their heads together and smiles, eyes soft. “This thing we’ve got going…it works. You don’t have to hold back on what you want out of this after giving Robin the option of anything and everything.”
And maybe he had been holding back a bit. All he ever wanted was June, a kid, and Robin gave him that, and in return he got her to date Heather, he let Heather drag Billy back into their lives, he let their daughter call Robin and Heather mom and mama before he even got called dada, worked hard to provide them the lifestyle they had with Heather and Billy chipping in and he…
He wanted more now. He wanted Billy. He wanted him to move in properly, for Heather to just come out and say Steve and Robin’s home was her home too, to put a bigger bed in the master bedroom so they could all share some nights because he wanted that. He wanted a big family since he was young and in a way — he was getting it. In Robin and Heather, in Billy and June. In the kids who still visited when they could.
“Take me on a date first, okay?” Billy grins.
“That can be arranged.” He kissed June’s head between them and Steve chuckled. “The little princess has to stay home though. I want her daddy all for myself.”
Steve laughed.
“Don’t call me daddy, you’re gonna make it weird.”
“Princess can share. Yeah? June, you can share right? Stevie can be both our daddy.” June giggled and wriggled between them, reaching for Billy with a small ‘Bibi’. The blond laughed and took her from Steve’s arms. “I’m afraid she can share you but not me, Daddy.”
Steve rolled his eyes before grinning deviously with a shrug.
“Whatever. I’ll teach her how to share, Mommy.”
Billy’s cheeks burned.
“Don’t make me pop a boner with a baby in my arms, Steve. People are gonna think I’m a creep.” He grumbled and Steve snorted.
“I’m going to go dance with my wife. Have fun with June.”
“Bitch.” Billy clicked his tongue as Steve walked off to find Robin on the floor.
Steve found his soulmate at 18 in an ice cream parlour. They were platonic with a capital P, and content. She made him laugh, they shared secrets, and they had no boundaries keeping them apart. Hell, they got married. Had a baby.
Now, at 39, Steve re-met his other soulmate. The kind that made his stomach twist and flutter, that made his cheeks hot and his heart full. Made him hot under the collar with his teasing.
And maybe, Robin and him share a soulmate in Heather, and maybe Heather and Billy are linked by a red string too, and maybe they’re just a tangled mess of strings with no definite end. Knotted up in the centre of the four of them.
Steve doesn’t know what the hell he’s gonna make of all of it. Where it will lead him. But for now, he’s happy.
His soul had been split into a dozen pieces at birth, and he had pieced every part back together.
Only took him 40 years to find every fragment.

📩 Simblr question of the day: Choose as many sims/ocs as you'd like for this question, What's something INCREDIBLY obscure and/or out-of-pocket about your sim/oc? Something that nobody (fellow sims and/or your followers and mutuals) knows 👀 (This could be things about their social skills, physicality and/or birth defects, or it could be something they vaguely remember, a dream they had that actually predicted the future, etc etc... whatever you come up with)
( p.p.s freely share this SQOTD around, anon or not, and use the # SQOTD ~ 💛 )
Thank you, Anon (who I sneakily suspect to be @eljeebee forwarding the SQOTD Anon 😉) and @nocturnalazure for the same ask (on the same day 😊). ❤️
Here's a list of very random facts about my student bunch and two bonus characters. Some things may be known to some already, but I think most can be considered obscure. It is, of course, an essay. Because I'm simply never a woman of few words, especially when it comes to blabbing about my characters. 😊
James wrote his first original song at age 8. It was titled "Parent-Free World", and sometimes he still hums it absentmindedly. He bites his nails when he's nervous and the only place he "self-services" is in the shower because that's the least messy.
Sarah has been considering breast reduction surgery because she has back pain often. She and James developed "twin language" as toddlers and still remember and use some words.
Daniel secretly hoped he would have siblings, but it wasn't on the cards. This made him closer to James and Sarah, though. He's on the verge of failing university. Not because he's not smart enough but because the lectures bore him. His learning style is more visual and kinesthetic, and the University caters more towards auditory learners.
Jill sometimes remembers smidges of a past she can't really place and is convinced these are memories from a previous life. She knows all the songs from High School Musical by heart, but she doesn't tell a soul about this because she's embarrassed.
Seth is extremely intelligent and is a member of Mensa. He doesn't want to be cocky, so he hardly mentions it. He avidly plays D&D online, and his character, a sorcerer, is named Zeno Morningsteam.
Sadie is a wonderful singer and has a great musical ear, but it bothers her that she doesn't know how to play an instrument. She has a tiny birthmark somewhere on her body shaped like a heart (when seen up close). Her parents' marriage is going through stormy weather, but they hide this from their children (for now).
Rachel does yoga every day. She secretly liked it when Sadie spent every night with James because, as much as she loves Sadie, sharing her personal space with someone every night is very demanding for her. She's written seven chapters to a fantasy story, but this is a well-kept secret. If she tells someone about it, they may want to read it! 😱
Finn has a nut allergy. This was discovered when he was three years old and had to be rushed to hospital after sneaking a taste of Nutella. After his hospitalisation, "know what you eat" became a huge topic in the Richardson household, and this is actually what inspired Jill to want to become a chef. Since lots of food contains traces of nuts, Finn is very careful what he eats and always checks the packaging.
***Bonus characters (since they're fresh on everyone's mind)***
Joshua actually hasn't sworn off religion like his sister Martha has. He still has faith but is finding his own way. His crush on Joel is slowly fading, but he's happy about this. He hopes to find love soon but knows this is difficult in a small town. He ordered a free information booklet from The Rainbow Alliance entitled "Boys." which very openly and very detailed (in drawings) explains anything and everything boys who like boys need to know. It left him extremely flustered, but it's also his favourite thing to read now. 🤫
Morgan named Jonah after the love of her life, Jonas, who died in a car crash many years ago. Morgan has a subscription to OMGYES. Aside from writing, she has another creative passion: playing the violin. She's very good at it too. She's not looking for a relationship right now, life is too busy as it is.

mysterious ways (Steddie Week 2023)
Eddie Munson x Steve Harrington
Hello all! I am participating in Steddie week this year, and I am doing a seven part series reflecting each of the seven prompts. Thank you @steddie-week for the challenge! I will only have this first part on Tumblr, but will post the next six chapters each day on Ao3, so follow along over there if you're into it! :)
Summary: Steve feels lonely after the earthquake. Somewhere deep in the Upside Down, new life is born. (Prompts: Hunger - Pining - Somebody to Love by Queen)
WC: 1.4K (each part is going to be pretty short I think)
Warnings: Kas!Eddie/Steve, canon universe post-season 4, pining, angst, a bit darker than my usual fare but not by much, PS this fic will have a happy ending because all my fics do lol
A/N: I wasn't planning on doing Steddie week because I'm going through a bit of a tough time right now but I randomly felt inspired today, so I'm giving it a go. Shout out to @skjachukson for requesting Kas Eddie, I have a feeling I'll be writing him more after this lmao

Sometimes, when things are at their worst, Steve can shrug and say, “hey - it’s not the end of the world.”
Of course, in Hawkins, it often is the end of the world. So now, Steve has no idea what to tell himself.
His hometown, which - let’s be real - was never that glamorous, is now in shambles. After the “earthquake,” almost everyone fled, which was valid. The ones who stayed were mainly those who’d been directly involved, or those who have nowhere else to go. Many people lost everything, and Steve tries to give back where he can - they all do - but a lot of the time he’s just sad.
His hometown was split in four, and all of his friends are in love.
Steve feels so dumb for even caring, but he does. All he ever wanted was to be loved, really, and he’s gotten the short end of the stick the last few years. He used to feel on top of the world, and now he’s - well, he had been in the Upside Down, which was probably as close as he could get to the literal opposite of the top of the world.
His friends found happiness where they could  - mostly through crushes and girlfriends and boyfriends. Steve doesn’t have any of that right now. He doesn’t even know where to look. Everything around him is sad.
Robin and Vickie had bonded over peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, of all things. Since then, she’s been volunteering every chance she can with Vickie. Steve joins too, sometimes, but he feels very much like a third wheel.
Some random dude with incredible hair and an even more incredible name (seriously, who names their kid Argyle?) showed up with Mike, Will, El, and Jonathan in a pizza van. A day later, the guy decided to drive back to Utah to visit his one true love or something. A woman with an equally badass name - Eden.
Steve wasn’t surprised when Dustin wanted to join, because apparently Eden lives with Suzie. Still, Steve was baffled by the whole thing. Usually, some sort of alarm would go off in his head about his surrogate little brother going on a road trip with a stoner, but Argyle seemed nice enough.
Although, he did unironically use the word “brochacho,” and Steve didn’t really know how he felt about that.
Steve knew Dustin was taking - uh, things - super hard, and so Steve encouraged any sort of break for the guy. Visiting Suzie seemed like the perfect way for Dustin to decompress, especially after what happened.
So, Dustin took off. Robin’s busy. Steve is too mortified to even look at Nancy after he’d basically professed his love for her and she brutally rejected him and stayed with Jonathan. Lucas spends all of his time with Max. El and Mike are inseparable.
That leaves Will. Steve doesn’t know Will that well, but he’s so lonely he doesn’t care if he comes off desperate or weird or whatever.
Steve shows up at the Byers’ residence one Saturday morning, looking like a total dork. Hopper answers the door, even though Steve would have far preferred Joyce. She’s less, uhhh -
“Steve?” Hopper asks, gruffly. “What are you doing here?”
“I, um - I’m looking for -”
“Is that Steve?” a familiar voice calls from the living room.
Ah, shit.
“Hey, uh, Nancy,” Steve says, giving a small wave.
“Is something wrong?” she asks, joining Hopper at the door.
“No, I -” Steve sighs. He’s mortified to even be in this situation. It was such a stupid plan in the first place. “I’m looking for Will. Is Will here?”
“Umm, yeah,” Nancy responds, retreating back into the house to presumably get her boyfriend’s little brother.
“What do you need Will for?” Hopper asks, suspiciously.
“Jeez, relax, Sheriff,” Steve replies. “I just wanted to talk to him. I’m the babysitter, remember?”
This explanation seems good enough for Hopper, even though Steve hasn’t really interacted with Will much prior to this. Not directly, anyway. He’d let the kids in to see movies for free back when he worked at Scoops, but that was it.
After a full thirty seconds of awkward, painful silence, Will comes to the door.
“Hey, kid,” Steve says. Hopper and the others had thankfully walked away to give them some privacy. “Do you - do you want to go to the music store with me?”
Will stares at him blankly for a moment, then shouts to the others behind him.
“Mom! I’ll be back later!”
Steve smiles, triumphantly.
“Okay, have fun!” Joyce’s voice rings from somewhere in the house. “Be home by 5 for dinner!”
“You got it, Mrs. Byers!” Steve yells into the void. “Okay, let’s go.”
Will hurriedly walks out of the house and shuts the door behind him, then sighs in relief.
“Thank god you’re here,” he says. “All the couples are driving me crazy.” Steve chuckles.
“You and me both.”
-
Will turns out to be excellent company. He has good taste in music, and he’s funny. A little nerdy, like Dustin, but much quieter about it. They get along great, and end up spending a few hours together.
“My brother said he’d be there for me, and now he’s back to spending all his time with Nancy,” Will complains.
“Yeah, well Nancy broke my heart into a million pieces, so,” Steve replies.
Then, they riff on how annoying Jonathan and Nancy’s relationship is for a while. They aren’t saying anything out of genuine dislike for either party, but it’s still some much needed venting. Steve listens to Will talk about Mike and El, and that’s when he picks up on some things in between the lines.
Maybe having a gay best friend makes him better at detecting that sort of thing.
They pick out a bunch of music and listen to it as they drive around for a while. They both are big fans of Queen, so they blast that first. They get a little too into singing along to Somebody to Love, but neither of them poke fun at the other for it. As much as Steve and Dustin tease each other, and as much as he complains about being the babysitter, Steve loves these kids with all his heart. All of them, even the ones he doesn’t know as well, like Will. He would do anything to protect them. He’d done quite a bit already.
He drops Will off before dinner as promised, then heads home. It’s only after he passes by Forest Hills that he starts to think about Things again. The Things that he tries to suppress. The Things that bubble beneath the surface at any given moment.
The Things that led up to the Earthquake. He isn’t ready to think about them. Not yet, maybe not ever.
So yes, it’s far easier to reach out to other people who understand, and to cling to them as long as he can. And then he goes home, and instead of letting his mind drift to those dark places, he starts singing Queen under his breath.
It’s stupid. It won't fix anything. But still, the need is there.
All he wants is somebody to love.
-
Hawkins has begun to crack open, and soon what lay beneath will rise.
It’s a dark place - somewhere that’s always on the verge of a storm. The energy in the air is thick with dread and impending doom. The creatures that live there are something that people may cast off as fictional, because their eyes aren’t open yet to how terrifying and big the world really is.
Monsters, of all kinds. Some who had once been human, some who prey on humanity. Evil forces that keep kids awake at night. Forces that their parents insist are in their imagination.
How foolish to think an imagination could be so vivid. Then again, perhaps imagination is what created this place to begin with. It could also be what sustains it.
A flash of lightning. Bats scattering.
There’s a body somewhere in the fog, going through a transformation. Wings, teeth, and hunger. It takes several days for the body to resemble its altered form - one of strength, intimidation, and a deeply-rooted instinct for evil.
Once complete, the body gasps in its new life. The soul of a tortured boy once occupied this space, but now there’s something else within him too - something ancient.
Eddie Munson’s glowing eyes snap open.
He’s starving.

{Am I...a God? Neat!}
-Chapter Seven: From Ashes to Dust-
(Y/n) sat on the stone debris of the ruins of the Guili Plains with their eyes closed. They cracked open one eye to watch as their gray-haired companion stared at a glaze lily that was in bloom. A small pause in the night breeze gave way to conversation as Guizhong spoke, "I always knew of your existence. There was always this comforting feeling when I was surrounded by dust. My domain always seemed to whisper of one long before our creation...a creator of all there is and will be..."
The ghostly woman released a shaky breath as if a weight was released from her shoulders. She turned to face the god before her as she was knelt before them, the glaze lily long forgotten. "When I first learned of your existence I initially kept it to myself...the information seemed not only too sacred to withhold from others but also too dangerous to share..." The woman's figure shook as she tried to hold back her tears but alas a few drops escaped rushing down her face towards the awaiting dry ground.
"I eventually caved and told my dearest friends of what I'd learned...and while they didn't understand they supported me in my endeavor to not only contact you but worship you..." (Y/n) was staring at the dead god in front of them as she spoke her truth. If they were to be completely honest, they found the whole thing to be utterly ridiculous. A god worshiping another god? It was too obsurded a concept for them to yet grasp until a thought past them.
'Well, it isn't entirely absurd...I cannot die yet these gods can...then again they don't stay completely dead.' They thought to themselves as they felt an ominous presence slowly approaching the two. Choosing to put aside their disbelief of current knowledge of gods the older entity stood from their sitting position. Raising a hand, they grasped the blade of a mitachurl's axe that had been suddenly swung downwards above the god.
There wasn't a need to look at the creature that had attempted to sneak up on the two. The tainted aura that surrounded it radiated from its core like a festering disease. If (Y/n) had been anyone else or a less experienced god, they would likely be mildly affected by such a malevolent aura but alas. They shifted their arm forward a bit before swiping their arm out an across their body in a curved c-shape motion, while also being mindful not to hit Guizhong despite the woman being a ghost.
The possessed mitachurl's grip on the axe never wavered even after the weapon it wield was grabbed easily. Due to it not letting go once their intended victim made a counterattack, they were immediately flung towards the shallow river water ahead. Suddenly drenched the creature stood up further enraged by the failed attack and also the power of the dead god possessing it the mitachurl seemed to whip itself up into a frenzy. It began making loud grunting and roaring noises before charging once more.
At this point (Y/n) was no longer amused, they were deathly bored seeing as that since arriving in Liyue the only thing they've had to think about was the fatui agents that have been stalking them and their children. And if they were honest the fatui need a better strategy than sending countless agents to die at the hands of a parent who considers them a threat. The thoughts coursing through their mind stopped as they rose their dominant hand, the waters near the river began to gather around the charging mitachurl.
"To a watery grave with you..."
At their command the waters rushed to imprison the mitachurl before it completely crushed the creature. A sickening series of cracking with a pained grunt could be heard throughout the night as the mitachurl died upon impact of the water's pressure. With a mildly scrunched up face (Y/n) returned to their seated position as they pulled Guizhong to a standing one.
The ghostly god stood their for a moment still in awe at the gracefulness of her god infront of her. But the woman also shivered slightly at the cruelty, though it did remind her of her dearest friend when he would fight. It was strange if she thought about it for too long. Morax was always skeptical of the all-creator’s existence, yet he supported her in her endeavor of worshiping them or searching for them.
Thinking back, she wonders if he blamed their grace for not saving her. But now she understood, her god wasn’t awake to know. This being she believed in was standing in front of her. Their grace's presence summoned her in the place she died, and she could slowly feel herself changing. Like she was breathing again, living again. It was strange, and it felt like something else was changing the longer she was around them.
Her thoughts were cut off by a chuckle, "Guizhong I assume you are beginning to realize that you are teetering between life and death once more as you did half a nova ago. " They walked closer to the confused ghost grabbing both her hands bringing them to her chest in a clasped position. "You have a choice now Guizhong, God of Dust...do you wish to live once more and serve at my side as Liyue's representative, or do you choose to remain dead and observe as you have since your first passing...?"
"是的。。。我希望生活和服务"
[- .. -- . / .--. .- ... ... . -.. / -.... / .... --- ..- .-. ...]
(Y/n) watched their son run ahead of them as Paimon floated quickly after. They smiled quietly following behind as the children reached the main pathway overlooking part of Liyue Harbor. Observing the city as the sun slowly creeped over its skyline was a lovely sight. Even from this distance the old god could hear the hustle and bustle of city folk as they went about their daily lives, and some preparing for the Rite of Descension.
As they entered the city of contracts the trio were in slight awe of it. It was a drastic change from the nation of freedom. The people seemed more restricted but content with life. There were a few onlookers murmuring about the newest travelers entering the city. Some muttering about looking like rich merchants, or nobility. This caused (Y/n) to glance over at the group that was talking with a small laugh.
Aether looked back to say something but stopped as her parent turned back to him ushering him forwards into plaza. They shook their head at the blonde as if saying not to comment on it. "We should focus on attending the Rite of Descension in time...hmm would you like for me to tell you where it is or find out on your own with a few hints from me...?" They asked arms lightly crossed behind their back as they leaned softly forwards the patterns of the pathing gaining their interest.
The blonde thought for a moment and decided on the latter, not wanting his Cosmi to help him too much to seem more independent. "I'd like to try figuring it out." They nodded straightening their position. "Well why don't you ask the locals...and I'll meet you there and should you need me I will be there..." Aether nodded Paimon cutting off the conversation to say she knew where they could start and dragging Aether away.
As the primordial god watched the two get further away in the distance their smile dropped before, they released a deep sigh their eyes darkened the irises turning black. Without turning around they spoke, "How nice of you to show yourself Zhongli...Let's go then this won't take long and you won't miss your little show.."
"Will the peak of Mt. Tianheng suffice..?"
"Yes"

A drunken rage and a sober confession

Warnings: the use of alcohol, fluff
Summary: Bucky confesses his feelings to you after he comes to you after a date gone wrong. But you won't hear his confession since you're sleeping. But are you really sleeping?
„I mean come on Buck, don’t let this chick get you down, she doesn’t know what she’s missing. You’re nice, sweet, funny, generous, you make the best chocolate Chip cookies I’ve ever tried und you have the world cutest daughter. Seriously it’s her loss, now she will never see your ass in the pants of your fireman uniform. “
And here you are, standing in front of your best friend, one hand on your hip, while you hold a half empty  bottle of vodka  with the other one. Giving your best friend the best speech about self-worth that you can, in your admittedly quite drunken condition.
When Bucky called you earlier, to ask you  if he can come over,  you were surprised, you expected him to still be on the date of which he told you, with the "really cute lady" he had met at the supermarket.
And of course you weren't even the slightest bit jealous when he told you about it. No, of course you weren't. And certainly this date is not the reason why you have been drinking for two hours already.  I mean it’s not like you've been totally hopelessly in love with him for over four years now, without him noticing.
But how could you not be in love with him? Bucky is always there for you when you're down, he supports you where he can and every time you see him in his firefighter uniform you have to be careful that your jaw doesn’t hit the ground.  The only one who knows about your feelings for Bucky is your best friend Natasha, apparently you didn't keep your ogling as secret as you thought you did, as she soon found out about your crush on him. After a long talk from her, you wanted to ask him out, but unfortunately it was the same day that he told you about the "supermarket lady".
So you locked your feelings deep in your heart and were happy for him as much as you could. After all, it's been a long time since he threw himself into the dating pool. Ever since his now ex-girlfriend ,Lisa, left him about two years ago, leaving their then seven-month-old daughter Charlotte with him.
All the time you are walking up and down the living room giving while giving him your uplifting monologue, Bucky is sitting on your sofa, grinning and following your movements with his eyes.
“Angel, it's really not that big of a deal. She just didn't want to have a little kid in her life. And that's ok. As long as I have you and Charlie, I will be fine.”
You roll your eyes and pause in your movement:” Why am I angrier at this woman than you are, she knew you had a daughter before the date.” you look at him questioningly.
“First of all she did know I have a daughter, yes but she didn’t know Charlie is still so young. And second you’re angry because you are drunk, you always get upset faster when you are drunk. But honestly how much did you drink and why?”
While he was answering you, Bucky got up and moved closer to you.
Only now do you really notice the affect of the alcohol, before that you were still distracted by your angry rant
Your slight swaying, a clear sign of your alcohol level.
Bucky seems to notice this, because he carefully pulls you close to him, to stabilize you.
"Come on, let's get you to bed" he carefully tries to move you towards the bedroom, but you stop him: "No, I have to be there for you today and take care of you, not you for me.”
Smiling lovingly, Bucky looks you in the eye:” Just seeing you today, made this day better, and as I said, I’m fine. And you little miss, are definitely drunk, so off to bed you go.”
This time you go with him willingly.
When you arrived in your bedroom, he helps you out of your clothes. While Bucky disappears into the kitchen to get you a glass of water for the night, you snuggle up under your covers. As you lie there you feel everything start to spin, so you close your eyes to avoid getting overwhelmed.
You can hear Bucky's footsteps as he approaches your bedroom again, but you can't bring yourself to open your eyes, you’re way too tired. Apparently he thinks you fell asleep because his steps slow down and he tries to walk as quietly as possible. You realize, that he is now standing next to your bad as he puts the glass of water down on your bedside table. However, you still do not open your eyes. You feel his hand lovingly stroking your forehead and wiping your hair off your face.
Your mattress sinks in slightly and you notice that he has sat down next to you on the bed, stilling running his fingers through your hair, he sighs, then begins to speak softly: ”Oh angel, if you only knew what you mean to me and that I only went on this date to forget you at least for a few hours. But I needed some way to take my mind off you. Getting that image of you, me and Charlie as a family out of your head. But I should have known that I can never get my mind  of you. Steve said I should finally confess my feelings to you and tell you the truth about Lisa and me. But I can't, what if you don't want to be friends with me anymore. I can bear never having you all to myself, but I could never deal with it, if you turned your back on me. If only I could tell you how beautiful you make my life. How many times I wish you were Charlie's mother, but I don't dare. Maybe someday I'll grow some balls, so I’m brave enough,  to tell you all this when you're awake, to tell you that I love you with all my heart and all my soul.  But not today.” Suddenly you feel fully sober again.
He gets up from your bed carefully, a few seconds later you feel his warm, soft lips blow a gentle kiss on your forehead before his steps move away from your bedroom. You hold your breath, only when you hear the front door slam softly do you open your eyes and let air flow into your lungs again.
Just to whisper a single, quiet sentence into the darkness of the room: "I love you too.

The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries: The House on Possessed Hill
Tumblr media
I've never read any of the Hardy Boys books. The reason for this is that our headmistress subjected Enid Blyton's books to the same unfounded criticism levelled at the Hardy Boys books in the US: that they weren't proper literature and would stop the kids reading any proper literature. On this basis she banned the books completely from school premises and systematically shamed anyone caught with them. Of course the result was that Famous Five and Secret Seven books were passed around surreptitiously like the contraband they were and nobody at my school read the wildly successful Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew because they weren't banned.
I did, however, manage to watch the TV adaptations later, in my teens. Perhaps I should clarify that this post is about the 1977 to 1979 ABC series starring Parker Stevenson, Shaun Cassidy and Pamela Sue Martin or Janet Louise Johnson. I loved the mysterious theme tune and the plots. It's a show of the genre that I like to think of as aspirational for early teens: the kids are definitely kids but just older enough that they have a freedom the viewers don't have so that it can prompt dreaming, hero worship, or even crushes. This was never the effect of the Famous Five, which was clearly set in a world which didn't exist and where the kids had a freedom that no kids in human history have ever had. In the books Frank and Joe are permanently 16 and 17 respectively, which is probably just the right age to get this effect, They're probably a bit older in this series but still apparently free of the adult responsibilities of earning a living, studying, family, and so on.
The House on Possesed Hill is an absolute superb episode which basically takes the plot of a horror film and twists it slightly to fit in into the mould of the show. Joe and Frank come across Stacey, a young woman who is running away from a baying crowd who are after her. She wants to shelter from them in a mysterious house and she says the townspeople are after her because they think she is a witch: their evidence for this is that she foresaw an accident a friend had.
The show plays her psychic abilities very straight, at no point questioning what she says. In fact it seems uncanny.
Rightly, I think, at the beginning the townspeople just keep their distance from the house and don't give any excuse to Joe for being after her. This is somehow much more scary than the classic horror film tropes where she's either excaped from the local Nursing Home for the Insane Daughters of Gentlefolk (Matron: Jessica Fletcher) or she is the ward in court of the town sheriff who for no apparent reason doesn't want to go back to his house. We hear them talking amongst themselves and they do believe the house is cursed.
In fact the local sheriff doesn't help at all, saying that there's nothing he can do because it's not illegal to want to speak to someone and demanding that a crime be committed or else the Hardy boys had better shut up or leave his town. But then, ACAB.
In fact I'm slightly embarrassed to admit that on first viewing I completely missed that the house Stacey and Joe escape into is of course the house from Psycho. Since realising its identity I have seen that it's been used endlessly in film and TV since obviously a boy's best friend is his mother. I was going to make a quip that the only show it hasn't appeared in is Murder, She Wrote, but of course it's even made an appearance in that. Damnit this show follows the old dark house trope to the extent of having a mysterious hand pull out the telephone wire just as Joe tries to make a call.
The show returns to the world of the classic horror film when Joe and Frank take Stacey home and she's met by the family doctor, who is utterly creepy. Despite Stacey having been seen by specialists in New York who couldn't make head nor tail of her, Dr Creepy then does some kind of regression in the show which mysteriously reveals everything that has happened in her life. Medical ethics, anyone?
If you want a criticism of this episode you might possibly feel that it's got an embarras des richesses in the multiple possible explanations for what's going on in the house leading to a conclusion where it turns out it's several at once. However since the point of this episode is to draw from about every old dark house film ever, that's the point. There's also my enduring query about this show that Parker Stevenson was too old for the role he plays.
This is an excellent episode drawing on the rich horror film tradition.

Sometimes I think about B’Elanna Torres.
No, no stay with me for a second let me gush abt my fave mixed engineer.
I think about this woman who, before the Maquis, she had nobody. Her mother was only the Klingon gods know where, her father fucked off when she was a kiddo because he was a racist prick. She was teased mercilessly by people she was, arguably, smarter than simply for the crime of being part Klingon.
And like, yeah we talk about how Star Trek timeline is ~post oppression~ but if you watch Voyager and DS9 you know that isn’t true. It comes in different forms, different species of intelligent life. But it’s there. The biggest of which of course being the Bajorans vs. Cardassians.
And here we have B’Elanna Torres. Half-Klingon, fighting against that half of her all of her life because she was told since birth it was Bad Wrong. But she joins the Maquis. She has a spirit that still hasn’t been crushed. She was ‘betrayed’ by Starfleet (read: dropped out because things were racist there too). She is a good person no matter how much she rails against the idea of being so. And she finds a family with the Maquis. She doesn’t start thinking about it until of course suddenly she’s trebuchet’d across the fucking galaxy to a totally different quadrant.
And she is once again surrounded by Starfleet, made to feel Bad Wrong. She’s smart, exceedingly so. She’s still acerbic even to Chakotay who she is arguably closest with next to Seska who turns out to surprise be one of the enemy (aka Cardassian).
She has earned her attitude. She has earned keeping people at a distance. Nothing she could say or do would make things better or worse anyway, so why not just protect yourself?
But then. Shock of all shocks. Janeway appears like an angel descending from the fucking clouds (insert harp music) and she almost immediately trusts B’Elanna’s word despite their first impressions not being too great. Janeway was there because of the Maquis. B’Elanna is Maquis. But she’s a damn fine engineer. Janeway makes this honestly almost out of left field decision to trust Chakotay’s word (perhaps with Tuvok admitting despite everything that B’Elanna is as good as Chakotay says cause he’s seen it and he knows they can’t afford to lose such a fine engineer in an unknown scenario).
B’Elanna has the total capacity to be loyal. She’ll be a pain while being such but she is loyal. And everyone learns that. Her family is no longer just Maquis. But it’s Harry Kim, it’s Kathryn Janeway, it’s even on some level Neelix of all people. And then we add Seven of Nine down the line who instantly recognizes B’Elanna’s skill and authority regardless of how mean B’Elanna is for a while there. Given her trials when she first got the job I don’t blame her being on guard with Seven especially given this is an ex-Borg we’re talking about. Seven doesn’t sit there and question B’Elanna’s orders, though, and that’s so key (she may feel she has a better solution but she accepts B’Elanna gives the orders even if she does do stuff without orders for a while there). She is maybe the third person who has so quickly accepted who B’Elanna is and what she’s capable of and that is just so uplifting. Sure, they’re antagonistic for a while but things settle. They recognize each other’s skill and expertise. It’s never explicitly them jockeying for position as the go-to engineer, they’re just made to do that by the script on a meta level.
But the Voyager crew. They accept she is who she is. ‘Forehead and bad attitude’ and all. She is accepted without hesitance for the first time in her goddamn life and I’m not supposed to be emotional about that decades later? To say nothing of getting to see this brown woman, who is a successful engineer with a family, struggle with things like Depression. I mean, at that point non-white people weren’t allowed to show emotion like that. They weren’t allowed to be vulnerable. Still aren’t on some level now. Especially women without being accused of having some motive or whatever. She is also allowed to be angry without being accused of it being her time of the month every time you turn around. In fact I can’t remember a time she was ever accused of PMSing when she had an outburst. Though I guess it depends on how you feel abt it being blamed solely on her klingon side.
But she gets through it not exactly through the power of love but the power of acceptance not just of the emotions she has that are negative (depression) or deemed negative (anger) but of her as a person. Bad shit happened, she can’t change it, but it’s okay to feel like shit abt it, too. They don’t ‘save’ her. They stay there while she saves herself.
Lieutenant B’Elanna fucking Torres. Chief Engineer. USS Voyager. She is the hero of her own damn story whether you like it or not. With a little help from her friends family.

Y/n sighed contently as she breathed in the refreshing ocean breeze. She found herself to be much happier ever since she joined Hongjoong's crew and became a pirate. Her role as the right hand woman to Hongjoong wasn't exactly easy, since he was a little short tempered and hard to please, but she enjoyed it nonetheless; mostly because she knew the captain had a kind heart and a very handsome face. She had even grown a little crush on him if she was honest with herself.
"Oi Y/n! Captain wants you to make lunch!" Wooyoung called from across the ship. Yeah. She was also the chef as well as second in command.
"Aye aye Woo," she saluted sarcastically.
She carefully slid down the ratline from the crow's nest and made her way below deck to the kitchen. She found Yunho doing the dishes.
"Ahh Yunho, thanks for helping," she smiled, rolling up her sleeves as she began to make some fried fish.
"This isn't out of the goodness of my heart, just the fear of Hongjoong's scolding," he laughed, earning a punch in the arm from Y/n.
"Shut up, you have a heart of gold and you just love me so much that you help with my chores," she teased.
"Or something," he added with a playful roll of his eyes before going back to focus on his work.
Once lunch was made, she brought it up to the quarter deck and shouted, "Lunch is ready!" Seven hungry pirates soon began devouring the food.
Noticing the captain had yet to eat, she grabbed a serving and made her way to his room. She knocked lightly on the door. "Captain, may I enter?"
"Of course Y/n," he replied, smiling when she entered his room. "Fried fish?"
"Yup. It's especially good today," she stated, setting the plate down on his table. She turned to leave when Hongjoong grabbed her wrist.
"Actually, I was wanting to speak with you about something," he explained. Y/n nodded and took the seat across from him.
"What is it?" She prompted, noticing his hesitation.
"Umm... how do I put this..." He held his head in his hands as he thought about it. "I'm going home to Seoul. I know the we and the crew have all become very close over the past four years, but I've begun to miss my job as a songwriter. It's all I've ever wanted, and I've decided this isn't the best lifestyle for me. That's where you come in. I need you to be the crew's new captain."
She could hardly process his words. Her beloved captain of four years, whom she trusted and came to love, was leaving her high and dry? How could he? "How could you..." Her eyes watered.
 "Y/n-"
"How fucking could you! You're just going to leave us after all we've been through together? The crew needs you Hongjoong, not me."
"They do need you Y/n. They really need you more than they need me," Hongjoong explained.
"I can't believe you! Does our friendship mean nothing to you?!" Her heart was hurt just thinking about it.
"Oh. So this is about us now?" He raised an eyebrow. "Yes, we're friends. But it isn't like I've known you my whole entire life. It's different."
"So it didn't mean anything to you."
"That's not what I said," he sighed.
"Then why are you leaving?" She cried.
"I already told you! Are you deaf?!" He exclaimed, anger in his eyes. "I want to live my dream!"
"You're so selfish! I hate you!" She yelled at his face, trying to be brave, but inside, she was broken. She quickly stood from her chair and made her way towards the door.
 "Y/n!"
It was too late. The door had been slammed in his face. How could he have been so rude and inconsiderate towards her? How was he so blind to see that he was infatuated with her? How could he not admit to himself that he had secretly begged Y/n would just drop the whole pirate thing and be with him instead? This was the worst way to hide the fact that he was in love with her, he concluded. In fact, this whole thing was a terrible idea in the first place. Maybe he should just accept his feelings and stay with the crew instead.
Y/n avoided her captain the entire day, even when Wooyoung told her Hongjoong wanted to see her.
"Why not?" Wooyoung crossed his arms. "You two get off on the wrong foot?"
"More like, the wrong boat," she replied.
 "You mean...?"
"He wants me to be the new captain so he can go sing in the beautiful fields of Korea," she laughed, hiding how disheartened she was.
"That doesn't sound like Hongjoong. Was he-"
"No, he was perfectly sober, I assure you," she interupted.
Suddenly, a particularly rough wave knocked her back into the crow's nest. "Agh! What the hell?!"
The sky had become dark with storm clouds. The winds, ferocious. The waves, stronger than ever.
"Everyone below deck!" Shouted Seonghwa, right before disaster happened. A bolt of lightning struck the mast, and it was soon up in flames. Everyone gasped in horror.
By now, everyone was below deck except for Y/n, who was frozen in fear, too scared to move. That was, until someone grabbed her arm.
"Y/n! Below deck now!" Hongjoong beckoned, giving her no choice and bringing her under. It was all a blur until it was just Y/n and Hongjoong, shut up in a little compartment, away from the others. She couldn't help but cling to her captain, fear overtaking her. He soothingly rubbed circles on her back and shushed her whimpers, promising it would be okay.
Once the storm had ceased, the other seven went up to inspect and repair the damage that had been done.
"Y/n," Hongjoong began, his head laid atop hers. He sighed before continuing. "I'm sorry I yelled earlier. I wasn't angry with you. I was just... scared."
"Scared?" She raised her head. "Scared of what?"
"Scared of losing you. I thought I was making the best decision by returning to Seoul. And still, it truly is what I want to do. But, I also wanted to do it because... I caught feelings for you, and I felt you would never have the same feelings for me. So, I'd just leave you. But now I realize, I either have a life with you, or none at all. Whether that's living the pirate life together or leaving for Seoul. I can't live without you, I love you," he confessed. "And I know, this is all completely unfair to you. You should've never joined the crew and lived your best life in Iksan, but here we are. I've put you through so much, you deserve an apology for everything. I really am sorry Y/n."
She blinked twice, making sure what she heard was true. "I forgive you," she smiled. "But I'm happy I've joined this crew. And I'm also sorry for saying I hated you. That couldn't be further from the truth because, I love you too," she admitted, shyly looking down. "And I'd follow you to the end of my days, Captain," she saluted with a smile.
Hongjoong admired her loyalty and chuckled. "Then will you still follow my orders?" He raised an eyebrow.
 "Aye aye."
"Then let me kiss you," he smirked, leaning in.
"Yes Captain," she blushed, letting him closer until their lips met. Their eyes closed and Hongjoong's hand grabbed the back of her head and pushed her closer, making her smile wider and wrap her arms around his neck. They shamelessly went on for about two mintues.
"I really fucking love you," Hongjoong growled. It almost when to the next level when-
"Hongjoong?! Where are-" Jongho paused, gasping at the sight before him. A nearby Mingi and Yeosang saw it too.
"Cover the child's eyes for heaven's sake!" Yeosang shouted, then Mingi covered Jongho's eyes with his hands.
"Some of us have innocence at stake, mind you Captain!" Mingi laughed.
"Well I'm sorry for falling in love!"

7DS: Ban x F!Reader
(key: y/n : your name, g/n: guardian name)
(Set before the "overthrow" of Liones)
You had grown up with Ban in Ravens, the awful town. He protected you as kids. You were a few years younger, and had a huge crush on him, and at the time, he just thought of you as the sister he lost. Until, your guardian decided it was time to move, having finally saved enough money, you moved to Liones. It was a huge change for you, not only did you not have your best friend or protector any more, but you were in a new place with new people and new ways. Everything was done differently there. Luckily, your guardian got a job in Liones so you were able to stay. But, you still missed Ban..everyday. sometimes, you'd draw him from memory in your little sketch book and then hide the sketch book, so your guardian wouldn't feel bad about taking you away from him. Your guardian knew how much Ban meant to you, more or less.
But you moved on for the time being. You were an adult woman now, you looked pretty different from back then, but still had the same eyes that, and the same smile. That's how he recognized you.
"Y/n?" You heard someone call behind you, and you turned and spotted Ban. You knew it had to be, who else had spikey blue hair and red eyes? But damn, he was tall! And.. muscular..he was so different from back then! Then again, so we're you. You were in your 20s now, so alot had changed. You had a job at a shop selling clothes, not your own shop of course, but you were highly trusted and opened and closed alot.
"..Ban?" You asked in disbelief, only for laughter to erupt from Ban, as he grinned looking at you
"It is you." He says softly , a strange look in his eyes, a soft look. A..loving, happy look. Like he was in bliss seeing you alive and well.
You couldn't help but let a smile break out across your face at hearing his laughter, holding your arms up, he grinned and grabbed you, hugging you. His arms went around your torso and lifted you up to his level; he is 6'11 after all. You wanted to cry and laugh, you missed him so much, your heart ached in a way that made you realize you had never truly gotten over him.
You wrapped your arms around his shoulders, letting a small laugh slip out as he held you, he was..shaking? Aw. Poor thing. He was so happy. Finally, he set you down and grinned at you
"So this is where you ended up." He says, rubbing the back of his neck a bit, his cheeks tinted pink from that hug, and from looking you up and down as he looked at your body. Regardless of curves or not, you looked good, and he liked how you looked.
"Yeah, g/n moved us here so I could have a better life...I wish we could have brought you with us." You say sadly, looking to the ground for a moment. He frowned
"Hey...don't worry about it, I'm fine" he says, moving to lift your chin with his fingers and thumb, grinning again, showing his fangs that he had. You smiled and nodded
"So, what are you doing here, Ban?" You ask, and he grins, seeming proud
"I'm one of the Seven Deadly Sins, don't ya know~" he hums. You blinked once. Then twice. Then three times.
"Really?"
"Really."
You broke out into a smile, patting his chest, that was seemingly puffed out
"I'm happy for you!" You say, smiling up at him, and this seemed to surprise him, and his cheeks went pink again..damn, that's cute.
You two spent the day catching up as you ran errands for the store, getting fabrics and other things needed, he just listened to you talk about your life and he told you about the Sins, who seemed like wonderful yet scary people to meet. He wanted you to meet them, but not today.
After dropping off stuff for the store, he walked you home, which was just your home now since your guardian had since passed away unfortunately, but it had happened some time ago and you had moved on, but of course it still hurt. As you got to the house, you unlocked the door and poked to him with a small smile
"Would you like to come in for some tea?" You ask, and he hummed
"I got some time to spare" he says with a grin, stepping into the house, his hands in his pockets and as always, hunched over.
Closing the door behind him, you went and made some tea, but as you accidently poured some hot water on your hand and let out an exclaim, he was at your side in literally a second, holding your hand, which was red, but not blistering luckily. He sighed on relief and looked to you
"You gotta be more careful, y/n" he says, looking back to your hand and examining your hand once again, making sure he didnt miss anything.
You felt your heart fluttering in your chest as your stared at how close his face was, and seeing your flustered state, he smirked a bit, before leaning down and gently kissing your burnt fingers. As you let out a squeak of surprise, he burst out laughing.
"Not funny!" You huffed, pulling your hand away, or attempting to, but he had a strong grip on your hand, not enough to hurt though.
Looking down at your hand, then back up at him, he grinned, dangerously close to your face "...remember as kids...all the other kids teasing you about your crush on me?" He asks, causing your heart to jump into your throat and you wanted to throw up
"..y-yeah?" Damn, you stuttered. This only made him grin more and seem more amused, but he got closer, and closer, until his lips were almost touching yours, his breath on your lips.
"...I realized after you left...I felt the same.." he says softly, sliding his hand from your hand off your arm to rest on your hip
"...and that feeling never went away." He says, before moving forward and gently kissing you. He wasn't rough, he was as gentle as possible, both hands ended up on your hips though, before he eventually just picked you up by wrapping his arms around you and holding you against his chest, so you didn't have to bend his neck so far down.
After you kissed back, he smiled and pulled away, looking into your eyes. As he opened his mouth to speak, there was a knock at your door
"Ban~ we have a mission!" Called someone, a voice you didn't know.
It was Meliodas though, the Captain of the Seven Deadly Sins. Ban sighed in annoyance and sat you down, pecking your forehead gently
"We'll talk about this after my mission." He says, grinning at you. All you could do was nod, and he took off out the door.

Hi! I'm Joana, aka Mysty, aka a few other names depending on where you know me online! I'm a 32-year-old woman with ADHD and chronic pain, among other things, and I need help.
For almost six years I've worked at the same fast food restaurant, and even during lockdown, I got mostly full-time hours and was able to sustain myself on this job as the minimum wage in my state is higher than average and I have a sister who I live with and split bills with.
Well, back in September, I had a meltdown due to stress. Since then, I've been fighting with the store to actually cut down my hours a little so I could avoid both the extremely stressful dinner shift and being there when my ADHD medication wears off. At first I thought the store manager understood because I got the slightly shorter shifts I had requested. And then they went right back to scheduling me how they were. When I tried to talk about it, the store manager gaslit me, trying to tell me I had never said I wanted the reduced hours as my permanent schedule, even though I had a note on my phone I had written so I would be prepared with what to say when I spoke with her, timestamped for that September.
And now, because I spoke up, they've pretty much slashed both mine and my sister's hours to practically nothing. In this month of January, I've averaged between seven and thirteen hours, and my sister's been about the same. We have bills to pay! We have rent, phone, internet, groceries, everything that an adult is expected to have.
So here's where you can help me. I have a few things to present to you guys.
The first, of course, is if you'd like to make a direct donation to me, you can do so here. I have a Paypal debit card, so any funds put in there I can use right away, meaning I'd be able to pay for groceries and such directly from it without waiting to transfer to my bank account or pay the fee for instant transfer.
The next: I'm a writer! I've been making some money here and there from it. If you'd like to support me and buy my stuff, here's a list.
I'm The Reincarnation of a Water Spirit
I'm The Protagonist of an Otome Dating Sim And I Don't Like Any of My Love Interests!
I Just Want To Play The Game Without Getting Crushed By Giant Tomatoes
These three are serial stories on Kindle Vella! I update them frequently, and on top of royalties from episodes read, the more engagement (likes, faves, reads) I get, the higher my bonus from them is every month. They're stories modeled after anime and light novels, so if that's your thing, great!
Attention to Detail
This is also a Vella serial, under my pen name. This one is more American YA-style (the protagonist has ADHD and is in a relationship with another guy! Neurodivergent and LGBT rep yay!).
SK Online, Volume 1
This one is a novella, another anime-inspired story about an MMORPG. If you like .hack, you'll probably like this.
Sweet Saviors, volume 1, volume 2, volume 3
Sweet Saviors is a novella series about manga artists, starring the cutest manga-ka you'll ever meet.
The links for the novellas lead to the e-book versions, but you can click into the paperback versions if you like!
And finally, I have a merch shop! I like to draw cute things. If you like wearing t-shirts and such with cute animals and anthropomorphized food, I bet you'll love it!
You can find the Annie's Kawaii World shop here at Threadless.
If you're still reading this, I love you forever. Even if you can't donate or buy anything to help out, reblogs to spread this around to those who might be able to are deeply appreciated. Thanks, guys. You're the best.
