Your shirt is fitting you really well.
Your lips are moving, you’re saying something to Luke, he assumes it’s likely at least a little bit important, but he can only focus on how well your shirt is fitting.
Tight enough over your bust—Luke figures you’re wearing a sports bra for capture the flag today since he sees no bra lines, but the bra creates a nice shape for your tits, so he doesn’t need the lines to entertain him.
“Did you get a new shirt?”
You stop whatever you were saying to look down at your chest. You scoff, crossing your arms over your chest as you fix Luke with a look of disappointment.
“Wha–? It’s an older one. All of my others were dirty.” Your bosom is covered, but Luke is still staring. It’s like he cannot peel his eyes away. Though, he hasn’t tried. At least, not until you scold him.
“Will you stop ogling me while I’m trying to talk to you?”
His reply is earnest. “Wait, shit, yeah. ‘m sorry I don't know what's going on…”
You stare at him, your eyebrows furrowed and your lips parted. Luke can’t help but fix his eyes there next. You’re wearing chapstick, or maybe lip gloss. Something that’s spreaded over your lips and creates a nice sheen that makes him want to lick it off like icing on a treat.
“It’s okay …” Your words aren’t that convincing but you drop your arms and start speaking again. This time, Luke takes in at least a dozen words.
Really, he should have known what was wrong with him. The same way he should have known that eventually, his insistent nosiness would come back to bite him in the rear.
You’d always warned him of such, telling him that “it’s charming until it’s not”, when you would boot him out of the greenhouse. (Truthfully, Luke had codependency issues but if he never really admitted it to himself, then he wouldn’t have to admit it to you, either.)
You were spending more time in the greenhouse lately. Which has never been a problem for Luke. But your newest project, something completely unknown to Luke as it was apparently a Demeter kid only project, was taking away his time with you. You could barely spare a half hour to go by the lake. You traded chores with one of your siblings for more time in the greenhouse, leaving Luke to work with someone not nearly as entertaining as you.
The only time he got to really see you was early in the morning and late at night. And if he was losing his time to something else—or, gods forbid, someone else—he wanted to know what it was.
So right when you were leaving the greenhouse early that morning, Luke snuck in after you. He searched around, trying to find evidence of you anywhere, and when he did find it, he found his demise there, too.
Sitting next to your favorite pen was a potted plant. It resembled a venus fly trap, but immensely bigger. There were a cluster of them, some with large flowers growing out of the opened mouths. Luke stupidly had the urge to provoke the plant, driven by the desire to see them in action.
He took your favorite pen, and gently stuck it inside of the mouth.
When a puff of yellow smoke hit him square in the face, he hadn’t thought much of it.
When he stumbled out of the greenhouse with a fog in his head and dizziness, he thought it to be a single side effect.
When he started to feel warmer than usual, he thought it to be an effect of the insistent summer heat.
It’s not until he’s waking up on the ground that he really begins to worry.
His eyes open and he is immediately greeted with the sun attempting to blind him. He squints and raises a hand over his face, shielding both the sun and whoever stands over him.
When they speak, he doesn’t need his eyes to tell who he is joined by.
“Jesus, Castellan, if you didn’t scare the shit outta me just now I would be bragging about beating you.”
Luke groans and rolls onto his side. He’s still wearing his battle armor over his clothes and he suddenly feels uncomfortable, like everything has been made wrong or maybe like he has outgrown them. His camp shirt is too tight against his body, pressing the sweat back into his skin and not allowing for any breathing room. His shorts feel awkward in the crotch, as do his briefs. And his shoes are suffocating his feet.
There is nothing he wants more in this moment than to peel the armor and clothes off of his body and run down to the water. But he doesn’t know if the game has ended yet, nor does he know how long he has been out.
There are many unanswered questions he has, but the first one he starts with is, “Why are you here?”
He hears you scoff and knows you have rolled your eyes.
“We were sparring and you just passed out. I wasn’t just going to leave you here.”
He finally looks at you. His eyesight has readjusted to the light from the star above, so it stings just a bit less when he peers one eye open.
You add on, “I didn’t know if you had spontaneously died or something! And now that I know you’re fine…” You bend down and grab your helmet, situating it back on your head and standing at attention over Luke.
He needs to stand. The last thing he remembers is fighting you and he's never lost a fight to you. In his mind, he hasn’t surrendered, and you haven’t defeated him, so he needs to stand.
He tries to, he really does, but his knees get weak and as soon as he’s up, his head spins and he’s right back down.
You swear just before your knees are hitting the earth and you’re kneeling beside him.
Luke can feel you pressing the back of your hand against his forehead, he can hear you asking him a few questions, he can see your wide eyes staring into his heavy ones, but he can’t respond. He can’t do anything but worry about the bile rising in his throat, or focus on the shining water just behind you.
He doesn’t realize that he has begun moving until the bottom of his pants feel heavy with the weight of water.
When he’s in to his thighs, he collapses and lets the ripples wash over his body.
You don’t follow him until after him for a few moments, and when you do, you stand still at the shoreline. You let Luke soak the heat and sweat off of his skin as best as the circumstances allow, and you only speak to him once he’s standing right in front of you in soaked clothes and wet armor.
“What’d you take?”
At first, he’s not playing dumb. It just takes a moment for your words to plant in his mind. Then he plays dumb.
“Take? I don’t know what you mean.”
You don’t entertain his ditziness and instead begin making your case.
“You’re clearly on something, Luke. You’re sweating even though it’s as cool as it usually is. Your pupils are wide and your eyes go from restless to barely open. You keep fidgeting and every few minutes you twitch. And you’re standing here, talking to me, instead of helping the red team secure another win.”
Luke hadn’t noticed most of his symptoms. It’s not like he can notice anything other than the thoughts in his mind, especially when they give him images of your tits bouncing in his face and audible hallucinations of what you would sound like moaning his name.
He decides then and there that capture the flag doesn’t matter. Not when he has what he wants, the true glory, right in front of him.
He heard you, he processed your words, but the sight of your lips distracts him once more and prevents him from instantly responding. He stares instead, watching your mouth through lazy blinks.
He doesn’t even consider responding until you tut.
“If you don’t want to tell me, then that’s fine. I’ll go get Maria L to take care of you then.”
Luke's eyes widen. Maria L is an excellent healer but she also has a pestering crush on Luke, one that encourages her to touch Luke with grazes that border on harassment and lack any professionalism.
“No! Not her.” Luke would feel bad about his reaction to the girls name if he didn’t have such a one track mind.
Your eyebrows raise to tell him to continue. He does so begrudgingly.
He picks at his fingernails and his cuticles until dead skin peels back to reveal blood. But the sting on his thumb doesn’t compare to the dull pain residing in his groin.
He knows that admitting the truth to you would open the possibility of criticism. His current … illness aside, you would never let him live down the day his nosiness actually reaped consequences. He briefly considers accepting defeat, walking away with his tail tucked between his legs, and taking control of the growing boner on his own.
He might be generally inexperienced in these situations, but even he knows that his own fist wouldn’t compare to even the slightest bit of attention from you.
He opens his mouth. “I went in the greenhouse.”
Your eyes widen as if Luke had confessed to committing a cardinal sin, and it’s then that Luke begins to really worry about himself.
“Did you …?” You don’t even have to finish your sentence before he nods. “Luke! You fucking-“
Not really in the mood for your chastising, Luke holds one hand up.  He is able to silence you for only a second before you’re slapping his hand away. You’re yelling at him, both for trying to rudely shut you up, and for doing the one thing you told him not to do.
He sits and listens, waiting not-so-patiently for you to tire yourself out. He thought that point would come sooner than it does, but he’s sure that at least two minutes have passed and you’re showing no signs of stopping.
He rolls his eyes, he furrows his eyebrows, and he tries to discreetly adjust the boner in his cargos, but according to you, Luke has never been discreet a day in his life. He has never believed in your so-called ability to see right through him until your eyes pointedly drift to his crotch with his hand still attached to it.
Your insistent rambling ends unfinished. You blink, you don’t say anything. And then:
“Oh.”
At this point, he doesn’t know what to say, so he doesn’t say anything. You fill the silence for him.
“Oh, Luke. I told you not to go in there because …”
His eyebrows lift. “Because what?”
You take a breath. “The plant, the Venus Fly, the pollen is an aphrodisiac.”
Luke knows what an aphrodisiac is, he isn’t dumb, but he still asks for clarification. And when you explain, he asks you to dumb it down. Even then, he blinks at you. Because you were right. His nosiness caused this.
He’s considering pitying himself whenever you suggest the one proposed solution, the only solution the Demeter and Apollo kids have been workshopping together ever since acquiring the plant from another kid's quest.
And when your solution comes, Luke determines that there is no way he could pity himself whenever he is in the position he’s been dreaming of for literal years.
He might not have envisioned this particular scenario, as his fantasies usually entailed the two of you alone in a bed not at Camp Half-Blood. But something about this makes him enjoy it more. Out in nature, in the open with many possibilities of being caught surrounding you both. His lips on yours, his lips surrounding yours, as he kisses you messily.
There is something perverse about the idea of getting to fuck you out in the open, gods willing. He didn’t think it was something he would be into, but it’s all he can think about when he’s rutting against you.
He breathes you in. “I’ve …” he takes a moment, rubbing his stiff cock against your crotch once more. He groans as he speaks. “I’ve been thinking about this for so long.”
You hum, your hands fisting the part of the back of Luke’s shirt that isn’t covered by his armor.
“Luke,” you start and your voice is already full of hesitance. Luke isn’t sure he wants to hear what you have to say, but he knows it would be wrong not to. He busies himself with kissing your neck and under your jaw.
“It’s the pollen talking,” you tell him. “You’re not yourself. You’re basica-“ He bites down onto where he can feel your pulse thrumming under your skin. You gasp, loud and broken, before continuing. “You’re basically drugged.”
Somewhere deep down Luke knows that there’s logic in your statement, there usually is logic in your statements, besides during those times where you would say whatever came to your mind in the late hours of the night. But he doesn’t care, logic be damned.
He knows that he’s felt this way—or at least in the range of this way—for a while now. The pollen has just given him the confidence to act on his desires.
While the pollen has given him confidence, it hasn’t given him experience.
He sloppily kisses along your neck and jaw, not necessarily knowing what he’s doing but he knows he’s expected to suck at one point, so he does. He just wants to please.
You don’t react much to his lips on your skin, so he lifts a hand and slides it under your shirt and armor. The chest piece doesn’t allow for much maneuvering and Luke frowns against your skin before he separates completely to pull the armor off himself.
He knows the clasps on the metal as well as he knows clasps on his favorite pair of pants. Yet his hands fumble. Excitement and the effects of the pollen, he reasons. But his face becomes warm from something other than the two, something he would rather not fully acknowledge. Especially not when he’s about to get his dick wet in the warmth of the one person he’s wanted since he was old enough to actually understand sex.
You ask Luke if he wants your help with your usual teasing tone, but Luke doesn’t take kindly to it. As soon as he has the chest piece off, he has your shirt following it, and then his lips are back on yours.
If even possible, this kiss is heavier. Firmer. Meaner.
He still doesn’t know what he’s doing, but he calls onto the one other time he’d made out with someone. He remembers how he had been instructed to use his tongue and lick into his partner's mouth (a boy from the Ares cabin who stopped coming to camp a year ago). He had been kind to Luke when he didn’t know what he was doing, but now Luke feels like he needs to prove himself. He wants to prove himself. He wants to impress you.
What results is a clash of teeth and tongue. It’s messy, sloppy, and slobbery.
Luke likes it that way.
You pull away first.
Not much has been done, but you look a mess. Your lips are coated in saliva, probably yours and Luke’s, and pride floods his chest. You look flushed, too, and Luke sincerely hopes he’ll be able to amplify the emotion on your face soon thereafter.
“Slow down. Luke.” Your words are soft, gentle, and kind. Just like you. Just like your hands that card through his still-wet hair.
He winces, and not from the way your fingers snag on a cluster of curls. Wrongly assuming the cause of his sound, you apologize and smooth the patch of hair down. Your hands instead slide down Luke’s shoulders and he tries not to frown at the change.
“Sorry,” he admits. He gnaws on his bottom lip, already missing the feeling of yours, and finds himself continuing. “I haven’t really made out with anyone since …”
You nod, lips pulling up in the corners. “Theo?” Luke nods. “I know. We tell each other everything, remember?”
Not everything.
No one else is privy to the dreams Luke has about you. He has never told you, or anyone else, about all of the times he would fist his cock and chant your name in the showers late at night. In fact, when you would ask what took him so long, he would make up a lie about taking advantage of the hot water and solitude. While it was only a white lie, it was a lie nonetheless.
The innocent and naive look on your face as you accepted his lie by omission only made Luke’s cock harder.
You’re staring up at him now with a look different enough, but his reaction is the same.  Your eyes hold interest, intrigue, a little bit of mischief, perhaps. You look sure of yourself, like you’ve done this and in this capacity multiple times before. But Luke knows about your experience, nearly the exact same as his save for a few details he wishes to erase.
When you had dished on your sexual history, Luke felt jealousy stirring deep in his stomach. He had been with other people, a guy and a girl, but that was in hopes of getting his mind off of you. Meanwhile, you had been with other people out of personal interest and not self-deluded necessity.
Either way, your experience is almost the same as Luke’s, and knowing so makes it easier for him to take the lead.
He kisses you again but he tries to go slower. Everything in him screams for him to speed up, to take you how he pleased, but he breathes and pushes the thoughts aside.
Taking it slow pays off when you work the armor off of Luke’s torso (without much difficulty at all), and then slide your hands under his orange shirt to rest your palms against his abs. The feeling of your skin against his is striking, even though the touch isn’t much at all. Pathetically, Luke is affected by the meaning more than the physicality.
“What do you feel now?” You ask him after pulling away from his lips.
Luke’s immediate reflex is to say “horny”.
You roll your eyes and absentmindedly scratch your nails against his abs. When he keens, he figures he’s hornier than even he thought.
“I mean other than that. Your skin is warm so I’m assuming you’re still nearing a fever, at least. Are you lightheaded? Nauseous? Anything?”
Luke feels like he’s been slapped in the face. You were asking about his symptoms like a healer. Like an Apollo kid. He couldn’t help but wonder if you were only touching him to gauge his temperature. Were you only doing this—kissing him—to keep his fever warded off? Did you even want this?
Rationally, he knows that you would do anything to help him. You’re his best friend, after all. But he wants you to want this, otherwise it would mean nothing.  Otherwise, he wouldn’t even begin to hold a torch to your previous partners. He would be the one you laid with out of moral obligation and not interest.
He hadn’t been feeling nauseous before, but his throat starts to construct as if preparing to trigger his gag reflex.
He hasn’t responded and you’re looking at him inquisitively.
“Nauseous,” he starts. “Hot. Horny. Are you only doing this to keep me from dying?” The question messily tumbles out without him noticing.
You run your tongue over your teeth. “Yes. But there’s also personal benefits involved.”
Usually, Luke could decipher your maze-like answers. But he’s so hot and worked up and lacking an immense amount of patience.
“So you want to fuck me?”
Luke doesn’t continue his work until you respond.
“Yes, Luke. I want to fuck you.”
He has your shirt over your head in less than a minute. The button on your shorts is undone 30 seconds after that. He has completely forgotten about your plea to go slower, but even if he did remember he wouldn’t be able to comply.
He needs to feel you. All of you. Or else he might collapse then and there.
His hands run over your shoulders and torso gratefully, only appearing as the opposite whenever he runs into your bra (a sports bra, as he had assumed). As soon as he has the straps pulled down, he latches his lips onto the newly revealed skin.
Distantly, Luke thinks he would have liked to have been able to lay you back. He wants to see you laid out before him while you’re completely at his mercy. Luckily, he has learned to adapt. He has been dealt unfavorable cards in his life, and turned them into something worthy. He plans to do the same here and now.
As he sinks to his knees, he pulls your shorts down with him. You don’t have to be told to step out of them, but as soon as you do, you’re looking down at Luke with your eyebrows raised.
“Are you sure? I haven’t showered since yesterday and I’m really sweaty.”
Luke doesn’t pay any mind to your words. As you’re speaking, he already has his fingers forced under the elastic fabric of your panties.
“I’m sure.”
He pulls the fabric down.
“You don’t have to.”
“I want to.”
He pulls your leg over his shoulder, bringing your cunt straight to his face.
He has never gotten this far with someone before, he has never even seen examples of what to do in this position. He could back out. He could set your leg back down and only get his dick wet. But you smell so good, and you’re practically glistening in the sun, and you’re staring down at him expectantly so Luke slowly leans forward, sticks his tongue out, and gets to work.
By the time Luke feels even a bit satiated, the sun has started to descend to its destination below the horizon, creating a soft blue hue over the sky.
You’re panting under him, your back and arms painted with dirt, just a bit smudged on your cheek and a few flecks of it strewn throughout your hair. Your stomach rises and falls with your breaths, drawing Luke’s attention to the fresh cum laying there. There’s some dried cum on your back, and just the smallest smudge at the corner of your lips. Luke doesn’t think much before he licks his thumb and wipes away the white crust from your mouth.
He sits back on his haunches and sighs with his head tilted to the sky. His hands rest on his thighs with an exorbitant amount of self control, as he desperately wishes to wrap his fingers around his semi-erect cock and jerk himself to another orgasm.
He thinks that most of the pollen has left his system by now, and at this point the desire he feels is natural. It’s the same desire he has felt for you for a while now, only amplified by the memory of what the real thing was like with you. It’s addicting. Luke truly cannot get enough, even though he has been out here with you for hours. Somewhere along the way, one of the teams won capture the flag. Luke wasn’t sure which one, but the triumphant yells in the distance alerted him of a victory. Somewhere between his third orgasm and your fourth, the conch for lunch blew off into the distance, but Luke had absolutely no concern for satisfying his physical hunger. He was too focused on the sight in front of him.
When he brings his vision back down, you’re sitting with your legs pulled in your chest and your arms wrapped around your calves.
“We should clean up and go have dinner,” you tell him, your voice weak and hoarse.
Fear strikes Luke still. You’re avoiding his eyes, staring down at the dirt, and speaking in a soft voice.
He shuffles closer to you, reaches out to touch you, and then he reconsiders. You take a deep breath, and Luke rests his hand on your elbow.
“Okay. Are you okay? I know that was a lot.”
You look at him and Luke feels a bit better, because while your eyes are a bit distant, you don’t look upset.
“I’ll be okay. ‘m just tired. But what about you, are you fine?”
There is still that nagging in the back of his head, telling him to take you one more time, but his logical part knows that you wouldn’t be able to handle it. He knows that you’ve had enough. Which means he, too, has had enough.
“I’m good.” He leans forward and presses a kiss into your hairline. He stands, pulls his boxers onto his lower half, and offers you his hand. “C’mon.”
You let Luke help you redress and hold his hand as he leads you back to camp the back way. You two come out of the forest right by the showers, where Luke tells you to wait while he does his best to sneakily run back to the cabins. He grabs himself a change of clothes, then sneaks into the Demeter cabin where he does the same for you.
He knows that he has just seen all of your intimate parts for hours on end, but holding your panties in his hand makes his ears redden. Blood threatens to rush down to his crotch but he fills his head with the most undesirable images until he reaches you.
Two showers are started, you and Luke stand back to back, and Luke enters his shower.
When the bathroom is covered in steam and you’ve both used the remnants of the hot water, you and Luke redress and reach the dining pavilion just in time for dinner.
He falls into the routine of a caring counselor easily. He answers insistent questions about his previous whereabouts with a passing “I was sick” that earns just enough sympathy and stops the questions all together. A few times he looks across the way to see you already looking at him. Instead of dropping his eyes or teasing you with the slyest middle finger he could muster, he smiles at you just slyly enough to not raise suspicion.
When offerings have been given, and Luke feels full in multiple ways, he finds you at the bonfire and sits with his leg flushed to yours.
He had just begun to think that all of the pollen was out until you rested your hand on his knee and he felt a jump in his stomach.
Goddamn it.

firsts
synopsis — sakusa and you have never had a conversation, and honestly you’re terrified of the man. but one conversation turns out to be many more of your firsts with sakusa.
warnings — reader is scared of men LMFAO, not really any
pairing — sakusa x implied fem!reader
wordcount — 710
a/n — happy birthday to himm! also my first hq post in a while OOPS also not proofread sorry!
Tumblr media
You’ve never really talked to Sakusa.
You had been the manager of the volleyball team since your first year–and you had known him since then, but for some reason, you haven’t talked to him unless it’s volleyball related.
In fact–you don’t think you’ve ever had a conversation with him. But there's a first for everything, right?
Itachiyama has made it to nationals (not like it’s a surprise), and everyone has just arrived. The room continues to fill with people you don’t know, so you decide it’s best to stick with your team so you don’t get lost.
Well apparently that was a horrible idea to everyone else. Because you’ve lost everyone but Sakusa.
And you’re terrified. Surrounded in a room full of men you don’t know sounded like your worst nightmare, and you were living it currently.
Frantically scanning the room for anyone that’s not Sakusa, you somehow can’t spot any of the familiar bright yellow and green jackets your team is wearing.
Everyone knows that Sakusa doesn’t like to be bothered. But when you make eye contact with him, you change your expression to a way where he understands you’re pleading for help.
And he nods once.
Your mouth breaks out into a smile, and you shimmy your way to the crowd. Letting out a sigh of relief–you lean on the wall for support, muttering a small thank you to Sakusa.
You don’t expect him to say anything back, but you can hear his muffled voice say, “You okay?”
Tilting your head slightly up to make eye contact with him, you smile as you say, “Yeah–I’m fine. Are you nervous?”
You’re not sure why you ask the question, he probably doesn’t want to be bothered. I mean–you were still kind of shocked that he let you even be near him.
“Not really. Are you?”
You’re even more shocked when he continues the conversation. You’d expect he’d be the most rude person if he didn’t want to talk. “I-uhm I am a little bit. But we’re exempt from playing today right?”
Yeah–this definitely is the first and last conversation you’ll ever have with him.
He nods.
Then it’s silent.
Surprisingly, the silence isn't the most awkward thing you’ve experienced. It feels as if you’re just two people co-existing.
You watch as everyone excitedly hugs each other or glares at their next opponent. One person even tries to rile up the other, eliciting a small chuckle from you.
From the corner of your eye you can tell he’s curious, but he hasn’t said anything yet. This time, you take initiative to point at the players, also describing the jacket colors.
And you swear you can hear him laugh.
Not a full–hearty laugh obviously, but a small chuckle. A quiet one that you don’t even notice. But it’s definitely the first time you’ve heard him do anything resembling a laugh.
“You laughed.” You blurt out, before you even realize.
He furrows his brows, “I did.”
Your eyes widen, “Sorry–oh my gosh, it’s just the first time I’ve heard your laugh before, Sakusa-san. I swear I didn’t mean it like that–you just have a nice laugh–”
And now he’s actually laughing–like not even hard to hear.
He’s laughing, he’s hunched over, shaking and clutching his stomach. You don’t think you’ve ever felt more mortified in your life.
“It wasn’t that funny was it?” You ask, a frown on your face.
Sakusa catches his breath, “Funnier than any of the jokes Komori tries to make.”
“There wasn’t even a joke! And I happen to like the jokes he makes!”
“Only if you’re sick in the head.”
You scoff at his remark, “Wow, Sakusa-san, you’re very hard to please.”
“Kiyoomi.”
“Another complaint?” You tease, trying to play dumb at what he’s trying to imply.
“Call me Kiyoomi.”
You can feel heat rush to your cheeks, you tuck your hair back behind your ear and mutter, “Okay, Kiyoomi.”
And even though he’s wearing a white mask, you swear you can see his eyes crinkle and you can assume the corners of his mouth turn up ever so slightly.
You’ve had many firsts with Sakusa today. This is the first time you’ve seen him smile–just maybe next time he’ll do it while his face is fully shown.

ꕥYou Look Better In Greenꕥ//Sebastian x MC
NOW WITH PART 2: And You Look Fetching in Yellow
Summary: In which Sebastian sees the new transfer student wearing someone else's scarf and proceeds to absolutely lose it.
Word Count: 1.5k
|| Masterlist || AO3 ||
Tumblr media
Ever since the new 5th year joined Hogwarts and knocked Sebastian on his ass (while stealing his heart at the same time), Sebastian developed a new morning ritual.  He would arrive, as late as possible as usual, to breakfast, plop down on the empty spot that Ominis had so nicely saved for him, listen to Imelda prattle on about some boring Quidditch news, and sigh and longingly stare over at the Hufflepuff table.
It was always something different every day, much to Sebastian's delight.  Sometimes she would wear the most eccentric outfit, a clashing cacophony of mismatched colors that only she could pull off while being the most gorgeous witch in Hogwarts.  Sometimes she would arrive late, wiping the sleep from her eyes, tired from their shared late night misadventures.
This morning Sebastian was unlucky.  Sitting directly across from Poppy, she was obscured from Sebastian's gaze.
Even more unlucky, Imelda Reyes decided she had permission to sit next to him.
"Did you see what the new Hufflepuff was wearing today, Sebastian?"  Imelda teased.
Ugh.  "No, why should I care?  It's not like I spend my mornings just ogling her."
"Of course not."  Imelda said breezily.  "It's only been the talk of the entire school.  Surprised you were the last to hear about it, what with you practically drooling over her every morning."
Ominis snorted into his porridge.
"I have no idea what you're on about.  What she does doesn't concern me in the slightly."  Sebastian lied like the lying liar he was.
Imelda shrugged.  "Oh, that's a shame.  And here I was about to bring you the news that your favorite Hufflepuff is most definitely off the market now.  Looks like someone got to her before you did."
"WHAT?"  Sebastian bellowed.
Imelda grinned.  "See for yourself, pretty boy."
Playing right into her trap, Sebastian stood up, now blatantly searching for the Hufflepuff.  He was able to angle his view around Poppy.  A part of him was excited to see what ridiculous set outfit she was wearing today.  Sebastian didn't see what the fuss was all about.  Nothing unusual, her usual Hufflepuff robes, a grey sweater, and-
-And a Red and Yellow Gryffindor scarf.
His mind went blank.  The usual bustling of voices in the Great Hall silenced themselves.  Sebastian could feel the heat erupt in the back of his eyes.  His wand shot dangerous hot sparks, itching for a fight.
Who, in Salazar Slytherin's name, gave her that?
She was wearing a Gryffindor scarf in front of the whole damn school.  Anyone who was anyone knew what that meant.  Why, it was practically a front page advertisement on the Daily Prophet!  Wearing another House's apparel meant you were seeing someone.  Off the market.  No longer available.  Every other day you would see a Ravenclaw girl wear a new black and yellow tie.  A Slytherin showing off their newly acquired blue coat.  It was a possessive silly schoolboy thing, but if you were an eligible bachelor or bachelorette, you wore your gifted scarf with pride.
Who in Merlin's name would claim what was rightfully his?  Who would be daft enough?
He didn't even register that his body was moving, until he was halfway across the Great Hall, making a beeline straight towards the Hufflepuff table.
"Morning."  He greeted Poppy and the new transfer student stiffly, interrupting their conversation.
"Oh Sebastian!  Good morning!  Did you have any of the strawberry tarts?  They're especially good today!"  She beamed behind the offending Gryffindor scarf that was around her neck.
"Who gave you that?"
"Oh, well, I'm pretty sure the House elves make the tarts from scratch and then they sort of apparate it up here.  I'm actually not quite sure how their magic-"
"Who gave you that tacky thing?  Was it Garreth?  Prewett?  I always knew that weasel was up to no good.  I should remind him o-"
She looked at him in alarmed confusion.  "What on earth are you talking about Sebastian?"
Sebastian felt his jaw clench.  So, she had no idea.  Of course she wouldn't.  She was a new transfer student, immensely popular and with half the school falling over themselves fawning over her.  It had to Prewett.  Only that sniveling bastard was underhanded enough to trick Sebastian's Hufflepuff into something so nefarious.  Practically broadcasting to the whole school that they were dating.  Gryffindor chivalry indeed, taking advantage of someone like that.  He bet all Prewett had to do is go up to her with his big, ugly nose and manipulate her into wearing that disgusting thing.
"Your scarf," he spat.  "Who gave it to you?"
Her eyes darted at Poppy who gave her a bewildered shrug.  She blinked in confusion, almost as if she forgot she was wearing it.  "Oh, this?  It's so cozy and warm, isn't it?  I think it really matches with my complexion!"
Sebastian could practically feel his back molar crack.
She continued, unaware of the inner storm brewing inside of Sebastian.  "Natty and I were out at Hogsmeade and got caught in the rain.  My poor scarf got soaked, and I haven't had a chance to learn the drying charm yet.  She was nice enough to lend me hers instead!"
He deflated, wand dropping into his pocket; fight forgotten.  "Ah…Natty…the other…transfer"  Of course.  It wasn't that long ago that Natty transferred and was learning all the nuances of the social intertwining of a different country much less Hogwarts social etiquette.  Probably thought all of this was silly anyway.
"Is something the matter, Sebastian?"  She leaned over placing her gentle hand on his forehead.  "You're awfully red.  You're practically burning up!"
Poppy tried to hide her laughter behind her hands.
Sebastian's blush was so strong it practically hid all the freckles on his face.  Arms flapping around, he pushed away her hand from his forehead.  "Never mind me.  It's a miracle you didn't get sick wearing that silly thing.  If you really needed an extra scarf you should have come straight to me."
He started undoing his own warm green and silver scarf.  And with the most nonchalance and charm he could muster, he gently wrapped it around his Hufflepuff's neck.  Green and silver framed her rising blush so nicely.  Something deep in his stomach purred possessively in approval.
"There.  All better.  Those colors match you better anyway.  Red and yellow look awful on you."  He flushed.  "Not that you ever look awful.  You look fantastic.  One of-No, the best looking person at Hogwarts."  His ears burned as Poppy practically howled in laughter unable to hold herself back any longer.  "Um, best looking friend at Hogwarts.  Much better than that old Ominis anyhow."
His Hufflepuff blushed, trying to hide her smile behind her newly acquired gift.  The butterflies in her stomach were practically doing flips.  "Thank you, Sebastian.  Y-you're not so bad yourself, for a Slytherin."
He nodded stiffly.  "Well, if you ever need any more just ask me.  Slytherin is a good look on you."  He wasn't sure what to do now that his mission was complete.  "Um, don't ask Ominis though.  He…um…he hates it when people borrow his clothes.  Gets all particular about his things.  Just come to me whenever you need anything."
Her eyes swam in amusement, and she brought Sebastian's scarf closer to her face, inhaling the rich dark scent left behind.  A rich oak wood, some warm-scented cologne, and a slight musk that was undeniably Sebastian.  Her eyes never left his gaze as she gauged his reaction.  "Oh, how lucky, that I am friends with the most charitable Slytherin I know.  It's nice to know that my friends are so concerned about me."
Sebastian's knees felt weak.  He mustered up the energy to croak out, "Well, it's not all charity.  It's nice having friends in my debt."
She got closer to him, in the mood for something a bit more daring.  "Well, I would hate to always be in your debt.  There must be some way to repay you."
His mouth gaped open.  For once, the manipulative, charming Slytherin was at a lost for words.
"How about I treat my favorite Slytherin to some Butterbeer?  My treat?  I have to start paying back some of that debt somehow."
Sebastian's mouth was dry.  "If I have nothing better to do, I suppose I'll join you.  It's not like I'm doing anything."  (Ominis wouldn't mind getting ditched.)
"It's a date then."  Sebastian choked at her words.  "7'oclock.  Three Broomsticks.  I'll see you then."
Sebastian nodded stiffly and promptly marched himself to the Slytherin table, a bit bewildered as to what just occurred.
✧・゚: *✧・゚:* *:・゚✧*:・゚
Poppy's laughter finally subsided, as she finally got a moment's rest to wipe the tears away from her eyes.  "Blimey, I can't believe that worked.  I knew borrowing Natty's scarf was a brilliant move."
The other girl smiled, gently packing away the old scarf borrowed from Natty back into her bags, right on top of her very own and very dry Yellow and black scarf that was secretly tucked away.  "What can I say Poppy?  Sometimes to catch a Slytherin you got to think like a Slytherin."

just a lil request for Phil Wenneck… car sex? 🫶🏽
𝗜’𝗗 𝗚𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗨𝗣 𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗧𝗢 𝗧𝗢𝗨𝗖𝗛 𝗬𝗢𝗨
Tumblr media
phil wenneck x wife!reader
summary: 1.4k.
The two of you are barely twenty minutes into your drive–that is, apparently, only an hour and a half according to your husband–when Phil starts getting handsy. You’re back in one of those little sundresses he adores so much, seat pushed back as far as it can go, feet crossed and perched up on the dashboard.
or the one where phil fucks his wife on a deserted back road.
warnings: smut, piv, car sex, (almost) reckless driving, unprotected sex

Phil wouldn’t admit it to anyone–not even to you, most days–but he was a sucker for the domestic scene. It was such a guilty pleasure, seeing you in those pretty little sundresses while you made lunch in the kitchen. Bare feet against the linoleum of your mudroom as you fold the laundry. Watching you brush your teeth on your side of the jack and jill sinks in your bathroom in one of his old t-shirts from college.
It leaves his brain a little hazy, a little numb. Clouds his judgment and his rational thought until he’s sliding up behind you while you make breakfast, arms linked around your middle as he presses barely there kisses to the seam of your shoulder.
“You got any plans today?” he asks, moving the neckline of the shirt you’d stolen with the tip of his nose and humming against the bare skin he finds there.
“No,” you say. “Unless you count lounging around here.”
“Good,” he says. “Because we’re going on a trip.”
The palms of his hands are splayed wide against your hips, beneath the hemline of the shirt and skimming the thin edge of the panties you were wearing.
“Phil-” He hushes you, quickly, kissing the spot below your ear. “I’ve already got you a bag packed.”
“We can’t just go,” you scoff, smiling.
“Why not? C’mon, baby, I’ve already got you a bag packed and everything,” he says. His voice is low and gravely, chest rumbling against your back. “Let me spend some time with my beautiful wife, hm?”
“Y-yeah.” The words come out as a stutter, slipping down your tongue as Phil nips at your pulse point and molds you into putty in his palms. “Yeah, let’s go somewhere.”
“There’s my good girl,” he says and you huff out of your nose at the loss of contact from his lips.
He pulls away to give you time to finish cooking the food you were no longer interested in and stalks back up the stairs to grab your bags.
The two of you are barely twenty minutes into your drive–that is, apparently, only an hour and a half according to your husband–when Phil starts getting handsy. You’re back in one of those little sundresses he adores so much, seat pushed back as far as it can go, feet crossed and perched up on the dashboard.
He’d left you alone to get ready. He’d loaded up the car, tossing the single bag stuffed full of both of your clothes into the trunk and the trader joe’s bag of snacks into the back seat, leaving you alone in the bedroom to dress as you pleased.
Needless to say, Phil was more than shocked when his fingers pushed up the pale yellow fabric of your dress and found nothing but more of your soft, bare skin when he’d expected the delicate cotton of your underwear again.
“Jesus Christ, baby,” he scoffs as he takes his gaze off the road to turn toward you with wide eyes.
“Eyes on the road, handsome,” you say, tapping his cheek delicately with the hand closest to him.
“I can’t believe you’re not wearing panties right now.”
You hum in response, bringing your hand down to fiddle with his fingers from where they’re still resting on your leg. It’s like your touch brings him back to the surface, the drag of his hand resuming as he moves closer to the slick between your thighs.
“Holy fuck,” Phil groans as you guide his hand, coating his fingers in your arousal. “You’re so wet for me, baby.”
The tip of his middle finger has just barely pressed itself into your pussy when he pulls his hand away entirely, leaving you with a whine caught at the base of your throat. You watch him white knuckle the steering wheel and flick on the turn signal.
“Phil?”
“Yeah, baby?” He checks the mirrors before abruptly changing lanes.
“What are you doing?” you ask.
“Getting off the interstate so I can find a back road… or something,” he says. His jaw clenches so tight you think you can hear his teeth grinding.
“Phil,” you sigh as you adjust in your seat, leaning toward him over the middle console to slide a hand across the denim of his pants. Your eyes roll back in your head as you think about how delicious it would feel against your clit, thighs clenching as your hand finds the bulge in his jeans.
“Fucking christ. Give me five minutes…” he sighs. “Two minutes.”
You palm his cock, heat emanating through the fabric. He’s finally reached an exit, the three minutes that had passed in the midst of the exchange feeling more like twenty as Phil holds your wrist to keep your movements at bay. The two of you are lucky enough to have gotten off at a fairly deserted spot. A decently dense swath of trees surround the parts of the street not taken up by fast food places and gas stations and it only takes you a couple minutes to find a side street to pull off into.
It feels like the car is thrown into park before the wheels stop rolling. Your seatbelt is unbuckled for you, hands landing on your hips to pull you over the center console until your knees are framing his legs and he’s looking up at you through hazy eyes. His hands are still on your hips, grip strong as he tugs you down fully onto his lap.
“You’re a fucking tease, you know that?” he asks. He grinds you down, rolling your hips against his until there’s a wet spot in the denim. You were right, too. The way the fabric catches your clit with each drag has drool pooling beneath your tongue.
“Want your cock, Phil,” you whimper. You lean forward, forehead pressed against his until you’re basically swapping air.
“You think you deserve it?” he asks before spitting out “no panties” under his breath.
“Want it so bad, please,” you whine. Your cunt is practically weeping over him, clenching around nothing. You reach between the two of you to paw at his belt. The buckle is bulky between your fingers and it takes you multiple tries to undo it. He lets you handle it, only pitching in to lift his hips to get his boxers and pants down just enough to slip his cock out.
He pulses in your grasp, dick jumping as you swipe your thumb over the slit to spread the thick beads of his pre-cum over the head. He’s so thick your thumb just barely meets your index finger when fully wrapped around.
You inhale sharply through your nose as you line him up.
“You always feel so-” Phil groans. “Perfect wrapped around me.”
You slide down his length slowly, allowing yourself to soak up the feeling of him stretching you out–despite the fact that you’d fucked the night before–until he’s fully seated inside of you. Until you’re rolling your hips into the coarse patch of pubic hair that meets your clit.
He leans forward to connect your lips, drowning out the sound of your moans as he licks into your mouth. One of his hands comes up to cradle the back of your head as you lift your hips to start bouncing on him. He didn’t want a repeat of the last time you’d fucked in his car. He’d had to kiss you silly to keep you from feeling the dull throb in the back of your head.
His other hand guides your movements, allowing you to pull up off him slowly only to slam you down on him so hard he nearly has you seeing stars.
“God,” he exhales. You can already feel him twitching inside you.
“I’m so close.”
“Me, too, baby. Hm,  haven’t cum this fast since I was a fucking teenager,” he says. It only takes the feel of you clamping down around him once to send his hips shooting up into you, cum spurting out of him in thick ropes that have your walls fluttering around him.
You cum around him with a constant chant of oh my god.
The two of you sit in the silence of your orgasms for the next couple minutes, giving Phil enough time to regain coherent thought as the mixture of both of you cum seeps out around his dick.
“You know, I was gonna fuck you when we got there, but…” Phil’s lament is cut off with a half-hearted slap to the chest.

“compulsion” - part 2 of PICK YOUR POISON - (a dads best friends love story)
first part here
pairing- (Shane x fem!reader)
warnings- nsfw, 18+, age gap, dads best friends, drinking, oral (r!recieving), fingering, jealous rick… 1.8k wc
You’d been a complete tease since that night in the garage. You knew it. They knew it. Apparently the only one who didn’t know it was your father. Such an oblivious man. Unable to see the way his friends undress you with their eyes anytime they get a glimpse of you. Or the way you purposely wear the shortest skirts you own whenever they’re around. And today was no exception. A neighbourhood barbecue that your parents are hosting. Mostly an attempt in upholding the outstanding community member facade they desperately cling to. And with all your fathers friends who were invited, you decide that for your own form of validation, to put on your shortest sundress. A pale yellow with a soft floral pattern, almost unnoticeable unless you were up close. It was so short that you have to pull the sides down anytime you get up from your seat.
“Where you goin’?” Rick asks as you tug on the skirt, heading for the door to your house. Your shoulder now a little cold without his arm wrapped around it. Something neither of your parents seemed to notice. Or if they did they certainly didn’t care. Too busy in conversation, welcoming some of the newest Alexandria recruits.
“Washroom.” You make a face at him. He seemed almost appalled that you’d be leaving his side. He probably was. Always trying to keep you close. Closest out of the three. And that was keeping him on edge. Trying to maintain your attention the most effectively, and keep it on the low. In fact, the secret was making him a little jumpy. The weeks of stolen kisses and touches catching up to him too. Very, very secret touches. Hiding what was becoming an exhilarating and extremely complicated relationship between three different guys, all old enough to be your father.
He watches your hips sway as you walk into the house, flashing him a cute smile before making your way down the hallway.
When the bathroom door opens, you’re pleasantly surprised to see Shane. With a flirty grin, your body moves quicker than your mind. Pushing the man back in as he tries to object, but you don’t let him. Pressing your lips to his and pulling him in by the back of his neck.
“What-”
“Mhpm.” You don’t even let him answer. Just continue kissing him all hot and needy, while you close the door behind you, pulling him close against you as you start to feel him relax. To accept that this was happening.
The entire day was torture. Each one of them very aware of your cries for attention, but not offering to do anything about them. When you tried to pull Rick upstairs to your bedroom he got all tight jawed and told you to cut it out. Pinching your ass as he led you towards the backyard. And Daryl, silently shook his head when you teased your fingernails up your thigh, lifting your skirt to show him the colour of the thong you were wearing. Ugh, they’re so boring. No fun at all.
It’s such a shame too. You want them so bad and they barely seem to acknowledge it. You woke up this morning all hot and needy, hand in your panties before your alarm even wrang. And seeing the men all perfect and groomed wasn’t helping. In their Sunday best button ups, with a spritz of cologne that made your head dizzy. It was intoxicating. The way you actually crave them. The way you feel like you need them. You’re already addicted and you’ve barely even had a taste.
“Would you believe me if I told you I’m a virgin?” You ask Shane in between messy kisses, hands already tugging at his belt, more than hinting at the real reason you decided to trap him in the costal themed bathroom.
He laughs against your lips. He tastes like beer. And you like it. A lot.
“Absolutely not.” He leans back. Tone more serious now. “Are you?”
An amused huff escapes your lips as you rest your head against the bathroom door. “No. But I wish I were.”
You pull him in again, tongue tracing his bottom lip as you kiss him. “Wish it coulda been you who popped my cherry,” his hand is under your dress, rubbing you through your panties. “Who fucked me and corrupted me,” you continue against his lips, the softest moan escaping your throat at his touch.
But he pauses. Trying to catch his breath, still rubbing soft circles on your clit.
“Ain’t too late for that second one.”
He’s right. It’s not.
“Probably woulda been better then some 16 year old jock on prom night. What’d he last, 30 seconds? Bet he couldn’t even make you come, huh?” He asks, fingers finding their way into your panties now, spreading your arousal onto your clit, and dipping inside.
“No- “ you gasp at the intrusion. “Was- was my high school gym teacher. Cheated on his wife with me in the girls locker room during lunch hour.”
Shane couldn’t help the laugh that left his mouth at your confession. Vibrating against your own lips. And you smile because he’s amused. But you aren’t joking. And it’s really not that funny. Truly wasn’t your proudest moment.
“Now that, I believe.”
You’re done talking, so you pull his smile against your own and whimper into his mouth. His fingers already pumping slowly inside of you. Finding your sweet spot with ease. Making your bare toes curl against the cool tile.
From the moment you woke up, you’ve needed this. Needed to come. All over his fingers. His cock would be ideal, but he told you no already. They all came to an agreement. Daryl, Rick and him. Said it was “crossing a line” or some bullshit. As if finger fucking your best friends daughter while he’s flipping burgers on the back deck isn’t.
“Please, Shane- need you so bad-” you whine against his lips. Hips involuntarily bucking into his hand.
“Fuck, baby-” you know he’s trying to hold back.
“Just-uh,” he groans, dropping to his knees in front of you, pulling your panties down in one swift motion. Taking your right thigh and pulling it over his shoulder.
Your hands tangle in his hair at the feeling of his mouth on your cunt. His hands are under your dress, nails digging into your ass and pulling you even closer. The warm slickness of his tongue moving up and down on your clit. Pleasure swirls in your stomach and silent whimpers escape your swollen lips.
“Taste so fucking good-” he groans against you, bringing two fingers up and teasing your entrance. Leaking with arousal and spit. Absolutely begging to be filled. To be fucked.
“Ohmygod,” you moan, pressure building in your core as he curls his fingers. Sucking and lapping at your clit, like he just can’t get enough.
“Gonna come, Shane-” you tell him, hands tightening their grip on his dark locks. Your left leg is starting to tremble, and you’re climax is approaching much quicker then you were hoping. Thanks to his tongue replicating what you can only assume feels just like heaven.
And right when that tight, hot band in your core feels like it’s about to snap, you feel the wood behind you move, and hear the door handle rattle. Someone trying to use the bathroom that had thankfully been locked in between frenzied kisses and grabby hands.
“Occupied!” You squeak, eyes widening at the interruption. Your heart practically skipping a beat at the prospect of being caught.
You feel Shane’s movements halt to a stop, big, brown eyes looking up at you from between your legs.
“Shit. sorry, sweets.” You’re father’s deep voice carries through the door, and a cheeky grin forms on Shane’s handsome face. Once the footsteps retreat down the hall, he puts his index finger to his lips and shushes you. Be quiet, baby.
“Keep going-” your voice is hushed and shaky. Desperately unashamed to be begging for his mouth. His fingers. His nose, and how amazing it feels grinding against your pulsing clit. And wether he heard your pleas or not, he obliged.
You raise you hand to your mouth and bite down on the fleshy side of your palm, silencing the sounds you both know you can’t contain. And you’re close again in a moments time. Eyes rolling back and hips jutting forward. Muscles aching already.
Oh my god.
“Don’t stop, please, please, please-” you beg him for your orgasm. And he gives it to you. Coaxing it out of you with his mouth and his fingers. Feeling a warm wave of pleasure erupt from your cunt, going up your stomach and down your things. And you bite your lip trying not to moan but it feels way too good and you can’t help it.
Not that Shane minded.
“Fuck.” You whisper, core twitching as he pulls his sopping digits out of you. Looking you right in the eye as he kisses your clit, one last torturous time, before he takes your panties, pulls them back up and fixes your dress. He washes his hands as you catch your breath, still leaning against the door. Face flushed when you see him smirking at you through the mirror.
“Think you can behave the rest of the night?”
You nod eagerly, “Yes.”
“Good. Now go back out there and pretend you didn’t just come all over my fingers, alright? Have a drink, eat some food. Be a good girl for us.”
You left the bathroom before him, checking that the coast was clear before slipping outside and eyeing the open spot still next to Rick. He notices you immediately and holds up a red solo cup, cold condensation already dripping down the plastic.
“Made you a drink,” he hands it to you as you sit next to him, the side of your thigh flush with his, keeping him extra close. And before his arm can make its way back around your shoulder, his eyebrows pinch together in a confused scowl.
“What’s wrong?” He asks, inspecting your dopey expression.
“Hm?” You look at him as innocently. Clearly still little dazed from your trip to the washroom.
Rick’s face twitches when he notices. Your thighs are actually trembling. Already sore from keeping yourself standing on one foot, while coming hard on another man’s face only moments earlier.
Rick’s palm flattens on your thigh, pushing it into the seat and halting it’s shakiness.
“Really?”
“What?” You ask, voice sweet as honey.
“You know what.”
“I- I tried to take you upstairs n’ you got all grumpy-” you stutter, trying to defend your sinful actions.
“I said later.”
You open your mouth to respond but nothing comes out. And you’re a little surprised to feel a jolt between your legs at his jealousy. How hot it is that he’s a little mad. A little… possessive.
“M’ sorry,” you whisper in his ear, tucking yourself in closer to his side, sipping the drink he made you. “Can make it up to you. Promise.”
He rolls his eyes. Annoyed and jealous and irritated that it wasn’t him who had his way with you in the bathroom, so well that it made your legs shake. But regardless of his hostility, he wraps an arm around your shoulder and pulls you in against his warm body. And you notice that his grip tightens when Shane walks by, giving you a charming smile and a flirty nod.
Annoyed and defeated, Rick sighs and leans in. Close enough that his lips brush your ear.
“Alright. Upstairs. Now.”

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I was eight, on a visit to the Autumn Court with my father; what was to be discussed I had no clue, and even if I did know I was eight I wouldn’t have understood the big words they used. All I had cared about this day was getting to see my best friend named Eris, a young male who I understood was the son of the Autumn Court High Lord my father was talking with. He was younger than Rhys by many years apparently. We were only a few months apart in our birth, so our parents thought it would be good for us to hang out around each other when they had these meetings.
Last time we had been here Eris had shown me around the gardens, and told me stories about the many creatures he had seen pass through them from his bedroom window. I was excited to think about what our adventure would be today, my father had let me wear pants and a nice blouse this time instead of a dress.
“If you're going to be running around outside like your brother, the least you can do is save your mother from the heart attack of getting mud and grass stains out of your nice dresses.” My father had laughed and messed with my hair then morning he came to wake me up, clothes and boots snuggly under his arm.
He handed me the neatly folded clothing and pushed me softly towards my bathing room. I excitedly had taken the change of clothes and rushed myself together, eager to finally be able to keep up with Eris. The pants were a dark tan, almost black color, and the blouse was a pretty silver. Once I excitedly made my way back to father he had helped me into the fancy leather boots he had got me, they matched his and folded over at the knees. After he had dealt with my energy, laughing softly and playfully scolding me for not being able to sit still; he had finally corralled me to sit at my vanity table.
He had pulled my hair into two sections, one of them he made into a soft braid at the top, the other he left loose as he pulled the two sections into a ponytail. I never took these small moments for granted, I knew he never acted like this with mom or Rhys, this was a special side of him only I got to see. Once he had deemed my appearance appropriate he took my hand and led me through the house. Once we had made it to the many steps he had picked me up carrying me under my knees by his left arm, my small arms steadied myself by clinging to his shoulder and cloak. I had never really understood how his winnowing worked back then, he bent the world around us and it was an inky black that shimmered like glitter or the stars. It comforted me like how sitting on my balcony and staring at the sky of an evening did, when Rhys would be in Velaris he would occasionally come and sit with me telling me about the stars and constellations. I savored those days before the world became dark.
Once the world had folded back into place instead of the dark glittering world that was Velaris and the Night Court, I was greeted by gorgeous colors of red, orange, yellow, greens, and browns. Everytime it unfolded around us I was still mesmerized, the view was like something out of the books father would read with me.
I was drawn from my thoughts as father put me down and grasped my hand, straightening his back out and rolling his shoulders; he gave me a small smile and a nod as he guided us towards the forest house, where Eris stood with his own father. The small red headed male dressed in nice riding clothes could barely contain his energy; trying his best to contain his excitement in front of our fathers, his eyes sparkled as he watched us step through the archway that separated the gardens from the rest of the forest house property.
Once we had gotten close enough our fathers shook hands dismissing the both of us to whatever shenanigans we would be getting up too and headed inside the large extremely ornate house. Eris was quick to take my hands and lead me through the gardens, various flowers and plants whizzing by as Eris pulled me full sprint down the pathway that led to the woods on the grounds.
“Come on, come on! I have the best thing to show you! I just found it the other day and I think you’ll love it!” His sharp voice as a child was laced with excitement, breaths sharp as he ran.
“I am! I’m sure I’ll love it, I love everything you show me!” I giggled and picked up my speed to match his own pace. “Nuh Uh, I’m not telling you I want it to be a surprise!” He had flashed me a smile as we had begun weaving through trees.
After a few  minutes of weaving through the trees I realized we were further in than we had ever been before. This section of the woods was thicker and I couldn’t see the house any longer. Eris didn’t seem worried and I trusted him but there was just some kind of unease that something was going to happen.
Eris slowed and giggled “Cover your eyes silly, I said I wanted it to be a surprise.” He rocked on his heels eagerly and I giggled and did what he told me.
Once I had covered my eyes Eris placed a hand on my back and guided me slowly through the woods. We walked for a few more minutes till Eris slowed me to a stop and grasped my hand firmly. His voice was soft as he spoke to me. “You can open your eyes now.”
The sight in front of me was beautiful, Eris a step in front of me looking at me waiting for my reaction; Sat in the center of a small clearing surrounded by trees with leaves so bright it looked like a fire above us was a quiet pond, the leaves of the trees reflected off the top but it was so clear you could see the bottom. Eris smiled as he watched me take in the scenery  pulling me over to two logs that rested near the edge of the pond, Eris joined me as I sat down on the log the both of us losing ourselves in telling the other stories of what had happened in our lives in the few weeks we hadn’t seen the other.
After a while we had begun talking about what our parents were having us train in, he was baffled when I had told him I was not being taught how to fight. I had spent my time in the library, reading, and learning about politics. Eris stood and scoffed, crossing his arms and tapping his foot while thinking. I tilted my head at him while giggling, he looked like an adult how he stood and I could only imagine him as a high lord when he would be older in the same pose. He looked down at me with a quirked brow and looked like he was about to question my giggles when his eyes widened and he smiled brightly at me.
“I’ve got it! I’ll teach you how to wield a sword myself! Only problem is we don't have any wooden practice swords here.” He  covered his mouth while thinking before he snapped his fingers. “We can just use sticks, there's bound to be some around here that would work, I mean we are out in the middle of the woods.”
I nodded eagerly in agreement and pointed to some bushes near the edge of the clearing. “I’ll check those bushes over there, thank you Eris, it means the world to me! You are gonna be the best High Lord one day I mean it!”
He smiled brightly at me “When I’m High Lord of Autumn you’ll be my High Lady!” I didn’t even have time to respond before he had run off to his own set of bushes.
I turned my back to him as I felt my face heat up, High Ladies weren’t a thing back then and just him speaking it into the world seemed blasphemous. I kneeled on the forest floor and pushed some of the bush leaves away, I scrounged around the bushes for several minutes and came up empty handed. I stood up and dusted off my knees, I froze up as I heard a stick break deeper out into the woods.
One stick broke and then another, the noises were rapidly making their way at me but I was frozen. I couldn't move, couldn't call out for Eris, couldn’t do anything. Before I knew it I heard my name be called as I was pushed behind Eris who stood between me and a startled deer that was now reared up, Eris had a hold on my left wrist as he pushed me behind him and his other held a thick medium sized stick that he had pointed towards the creature.  The scene in front of me seemed like it was slowed down as Eris put himself between me and the creature trying to protect me, that was the first time I ever felt that tug. Before I could truly understand what was happening That gold thread snapped in my chest and pulled my breath from me, tears began welling in my eyes as I realized what it meant.
I knew if Eris didn’t turn around and mention the bond here and now I would have to wait for it to snap into place for him. Knew that I would have to resign myself to just informing my father and hope he would see it as a reason to finally solidify mine and Eris’s engagement. We had both known what our fathers meeting meant, why they were so happy with us becoming close friends.
I wanted to sob when he turned around to me and instead of saying anything about a bond all he had asked was if I was okay. I fought back tears but they still welled in my eyes and he pulled me close, worry laced in his eyes.
“Hey, hey, shhhhh, it's okay the deer didn’t mean to hurt you, it was just scared and not thinking straight. It's okay I’ve got you, nothing is gonna happen to you.” He pulled me into a hug and I began to sob into his shoulder as he rubbed my back softly.
We stayed there till my tears dried, all thoughts of training lost as we made our way back through the forest house. Eris had me tucked softly into his side as we walked, he motioned to a swing that hung from a tree and softly asked if I wanted to sit there for a bit. We sat on the swing Eris keeping it rocking softly, before both of our fathers pushed the door open. My father looked us over, once he had noticed the now dried tear tracks he rushed over keeling softly in front of the swing to take my face into his hands.
“What happened Starlight?” his metal rings were cold against my face.
I sniffled again as Eris moved to rub my back again softly and answered my father for me. “We were out in the woods exploring and there was a startled deer, it charged her but I put myself between them and scared the deer back the other way.”
My father looked him over before he patted him on the shoulder. “Good job my boy, you'll make a good male when you are older.”
Eris beamed at him and I saw his eyes glance over to Beron, who I noticed made a small nod of approval at him. I felt Eris relax beside me and roll his shoulders back. I sniffled and looked up at him and my father stood up to talk to Beron in a hushed voice.
“I wasn’t able to thank you properly early Eris. So, thank you for making sure I was safe.” I scooted closer to him on the swing and pulled him into a hug.
After a few moments my father and Beron had both nodded agreeing on whatever they had been talking about and shook hands. My father walked back over to collect me from the swing, when I pulled back from Eris he had picked me up the same as he had earlier.
“I’ll see you next time Eris, I look forward to seeing what adventure you think of next time.” I waved at him and he waved back, jumping off the swing to stand next to Beron who placed a firm hand on the younger male's shoulder.
Before I knew it the world was covered in that shimmering inky darkness and then as it unfolded around us I was back home in Velaris. My father set me down gently on the moonstone floor and his voice was soft when he called out to me before I could slip up the stairs that led to my bed chambers.
“Are you okay, I mean other than the deer incident? It seems something more is bothering you.” His brows were furrowed but his eyes were soft.
I had to fight back a sob from breaking through my lips, but as my father he could already tell I was going to cry. He swept me up in his arms and sat us both on the couch, it would be just me and him in Velaris this week. Mother was at the camps with Rhys, which surprised me father would let her from his view. I had been told she was to have another baby soon and it was due within the next few months now. They must have had another argument, I reasoned, that was slowly becoming a regular thing but I never knew what it was about; all I knew was when I walked in on them arguing one time mother had glared at me and father’s eyes had softened on me.
“Starlight talk to me, what happened my love?” He ran a soothing hand on my upper back as I began to sob into his chest.
I could hardly speak over the sobs that wracked my body but father had always been patient with me. “Eris,” I hiccuped and he soothed me, telling me to take my time. “When he stood between me and the deer, that bond you've told me about in the story books.” I paused for a moment to collect myself and stop myself from sobbing uncontrollably again.
Father stilled and his voice was quiet. “He’s your mate, but I take it he didn’t feel it snap into place himself. Don’t worry Starlight he will one of these days, till then you at least have the comfort knowing you will be married to him one of these days when you are older. It will all be okay my dear.”
Father had sat with me there for hours as I sobbed, I couldn’t even quite understand why I had been crying really.  I still didn’t quite understand why other than maybe I was just overwhelmed by the ache that accompanied the bond. I must have gotten lost staring at myself in the mirror because I was pulled back into the moment by a soft knock on the outside of the changing room and Eris had popped his head in.
“You Okay? Need help with your dress?” His brows are furrowed slightly, just enough though that the smallest of creases begins to form.
“Oh, Sorry, yeah I’m okay I must have gotten lost in my thoughts.” I  rubbed my temples and before I could even move to zip up the back of the dress myself Eris had slipped in behind me and zipped it up himself.
Resting his chin on my shoulder he looked into my eyes through the mirror, his hands resting on my hips. “Talk to me darling, what's going on in that pretty head of yours?”
I could’ve stopped breathing right there, I could die happy even if this was the most affection I got from him. “Just distracted, thinking back on our childhood together to think of stories I can tell at gatherings so no one suspects anything.” A half truth.
He raised a brow at me with a smile on his face. “Always thinking ahead of the game, what story got you so lost in your head you couldn't hear me call out to you earlier.”
“The deer incident.” I whispered.
“Ahhh. Makes sense, what story are you thinking to accompany me saving your life when we were eight?” He moved from my shoulder, straightening behind me so he had to look down at me, and his hands found their way to my hair as he undid my current style and began winding a braid into it.
“Haven’t quite thought of that yet, just stuck out to me for some reason.” I watched as a small content smile covered his features, finishing whatever style he had weaved into my hair.
“We will think of something love,” he smiled and sighed, his hands finding their perch on the bare section of my shoulders. He laughed to himself. “Could always say it was the first time you realized you were in love with me, for saving your life.”
I turned in his arms and hugged him, laying my cheek against where his heart would have been. “As always Eris, you are brilliant. What would I do without you?”
“Be lost in your own thoughts? Getting trampled by a deer? Honestly I can continue listing off events.” He laughed and it sounded like a melody to me, I could hear where it rumbled in his chest before it had even made its way out from between those lips.
I smiled and took his hand in mine to lead him back through that curtain to further our efforts in making it seem like we had been courting for years. “My hero.” I smiled softly and rolled my eyes.
He laughed and let me lead him out into the shop again, the heels of his boots clicked against the floor and he smiled down at me. “They will bring the dress up to the house for us, I  told them we had more shopping to do.”
I nodded and thanked him softly, I saw the two female fae peek out from the back room both giggling and trying to hide it behind their hands. He separated his hand from mine and moved to hold the shop door open for me. “After you, my lady.”
He giggled and I smiled, matching his energy. “Why thank you, my most handsome high lord.”
After I had passed the door threshold he was back at my side, arm slung over my shoulders. “So I’m handsome?” he leaned his weight onto me looking down at me.
I rolled my eyes and shook my head at him. “And you think I’m pretty. Point?”
He laughed and it was so infectious I was quickly joining in as we moved around between various shops on the ground floor of the palace. We had made a stop here or there, Eris had purchased an outfit for Rita’s tonight: a deep V cut black shirt with some black high waisted pants that made the shirt poof out more. He planned to just wear his current boots but had adorned the outfit with a burnt muted red suit jacket that had gold detailing.  In the same store as that, we found a dress in the same red color that was just a simple backless halter that had a slit on each side. We had worn those outfits out.
We were currently in a jewelry store at Eris’s request. He had picked out an arm band for me that was gold and carved to look like leaves winding around my upper arm; It had a matching anklet that had Eris sold on it. He had actually given me puppy eyes when he spotted it. I was left alone for a few moments while I looked through the many necklaces the store had on display. Eris returned 5 minutes later with a soft smile on his face but an excited glint in his eyes that just screamed he was up to something that I wouldn’t know about till later.
I was torn between two necklaces, a golden chain that had two leaves suspending a ruby between them or a gold multi layered one with small onyx gems hanging from each layer.
Eris leaned over my shoulder to look at both of them. “Just get both but wear the onyx one to Rita’s the other one seems more intimate like I would have gifted it to you, wear it with the dress for equinox.”
He made damn good sense and I had taken both necklaces up to the counter and was ready to go with what I had in the small basket I carried but Eris stopped me with a soft hand on my waist. When I turned to look at him his face was a bright red, and his eyes couldn’t meet mine.
He had to clear his throat before he spoke. “While we are here, I like this store's designs, I mean. Fuck I butchered that.” He let out a bitter laugh and shook his head at himself, clearly disappointed in his delivery.  “If we had been courting this long, I would have already given you a ring as a promise. I like this store’s designs and craftsmanship. I would like to look at what they have, see if there's anything we both kind of like?”
I had smiled and nodded, taking the step forward to pull him towards the rings, it was sweet how flustered he had gotten at the idea of ring shopping. A short older male came from the back with an odd magnifying device over his right eye and a thick beard, Eris explained what we were looking for and the gray-haired male studied us both before he pulled several out. One was a simple gold band of leaves and vines tangling within itself, Eris liked the simplicity of it he had murmured under his breath. There was a topaz one carved to look like a rose, the band mimicking the vines and thorns, Eris simply said he didn’t feel that topaz fit the design and didn’t think roses fit either of us, that I could agree with. Eris had finally settled on a moonstone blue sandstone ring, the jewel on it looked like the night sky tiny flecks inside glittering like the stars. The gem was set between two branches or vines with leaves and other tiny sandstone gems.
The man had checked us out and packaged everything safely; letting us wear the golden leaf bands, Eris had to help me with the anklet due to my pumps, and the onyx necklace. Though when he had handed Eris the ring to put on me, the older male had done it earlier to see if it needed any adjustments to which was done with magic, Eris was red in the face and flustered as he took my hand in his. The male had made a noise that sounded kinda like a laugh and urged him on, Eris had swallowed his breath as he slid the ring onto my hand. Eris was startled when the man landed a firm pat on Eris’s back and the man gave him a smile and wink as he slid back into the back.
Eris led us outside where he took a giant breath in, hands on his knees as he shook himself out. “You Okay Eris? Seems like you got really worked up in there.”
Eris looked at me and smiled. “Yeah, just fine, that was somehow way more nerve wracking than I expected it to be honestly with him there. That guy, cauldron, had one firm hand.”
I laughed as Eris rubbed the spot on his back and shot me a glare. “You just, sorry, you just seemed so nervous asking me to look at them, but were so in the zone analyzing each ring, but then got so nervous putting it on my hand.”
Eris straightened and huffed at me. “It had to make sense! It had to be a mix of both of us but since it was for you it needed more of you, but had to stay impressive enough for anyone at court that might ask to see the promise ring.”
I smiled and walked past him, leaning close to whisper a quick “Thank you handsome.” Into his ear before I started towards my brother’s townhouse. I'd drop the other bags of our stuff off there and pick them up on my way home.
Eris caught up to me with a sarcastic huff but still smiling. The sun had begun to set, everyone wouldn’t be at Rita’s till after the sun had disappeared behind the mountains and the sky was dark. I looked around trying to think of something to do till we would all meet up.
“Well, I’m officially out of ideas and we have maybe an hour till everyone will start meeting up at Rita’s.” I huffed and put my hands on my hips as I turned to look at the red headed male.
He tilted his head at me and his bangs fell in his face. “Well miss sass, how are there any good cafes  on our way to Rita’s? Wouldn’t hurt to be seen in public together so rumors start to spread.” The way the setting sun leaked around him he looked like one of the gods, before the cauldron and before the mother existed. Thank the mother this male was mine to worship like one too.
“There is one I think, they serve small pastries, coffees, and teas.” I had to think about where it was in relation to Rita's. I often stopped in early mornings on my free days when I wouldn’t be doing anything but reading all day.
“Perfect! They have outside seats?” He smiled at me and mocked me by putting his own hands on his hips.
“Yes they do, thank you very much.” I  laughed and stuck my tongue out at him.  He reached out and grabbed it between his pointer and middle finger with a smirk.
“Then lead the way, but watch that attitude my dear could get you into real trouble one day.” He winked at me and I saw some of the females that were passing by blushing and giggling at his remark.
Once he had released my tongue, my face turned scarlet, he had truly caught me off guard with that move. I smoothed out my skirts and looped my arm with his. Weaving through the streets of Velaris till we came to stop at a small cafe decked in pastel blue and green colors. I pushed the door open and a small bell rang, I could hear a clatter from the back and quickly a female with hair the color of wine peaked from the back. An excited squeak left her mouth as she dusted her hands on her apron and moved to wash her hands. Her name was Panthea and she was by far my favorite baker we had in Velaris, her pastries were so well loved she had managed to purchase a storefront that was right on the Sidra.
She greeted us happily and asked what we both wanted, I told her just my same as always, a sweetened caramel concoction that was her signature and a pumpkin roll.  Eris studied the pastry case for a few minutes and spotted her cinnamon knots at the bottom of the case, they had a cream cheese icing on them and Eris asked for two of them with some kind of apple tea. Panthea boxed both pastries up and handed us our cups, Eris once again held the door open for me. He sat his cup down on one of the wooden tables and pulled my chair out for me as dramatically as he possibly could while still making it a believable romantic gesture.
I snorted and rolled my eyes moving to take a seat. “My Prince Charming.” I mused at him.
He snorted himself as he pushed me in. “Anything for my princess then, I aim to please.” taking his own seat he tore a piece of his cinnamon knot off and popped it in his mouth.
We spent the hour making cheesy jokes and gossiping about whatever we could, falling back into that familiar rhythm from all those years ago. At some point Eris had gotten bored and started throwing tiny paper balls he tore from his napkin at me. One of the balls smacked straight in the center of my forehead and he began cackling hard enough he had to take a moment and rest his forehead against the table. I joined him, having to take a moment myself to grab the tiny ball and chuck it back at him. Though I had landed it in his shirt and he began howling as he  shook his shirt out, the ball hitting the ground.
After we picked up our mess and threw our trash away we set off for Rita’s. I had to wipe a stray tear from laughing too hard with him as we both calmed down and spotted Lucien leaning against the outside wall of Rita’s. The younger male waved at us and we waved back once we had gotten close enough Eris looped his arm around Lucien’s shoulder and pulled him in for a hug.
Lucien had told us the others had beat us by a few minutes and were already inside, they had winnowed apparently while the three of us chose to walk. It would be a full party tonight Lucien had stated, everyone had decided to come, which meant Nesta who I loved for her sarcasm, and Elain. Great.
I hadn’t even noticed Eris had stiffened up behind me as I hugged Lucien, but Lucien must have because he grabbed Eris’s shoulder and nodded. “I’ll give you two a minute, take a breather before you come inside, tensions seem high tonight.”
Eris nodded and gave Lucien a small smile, letting out a shaky breath. This was it, the calm before the storm that was my family, I’m sure there would be venom laced in every word exchanged tonight. Thank the cauldron for alcohol, if it got too bad I would order a round of shots for the table and then pull Eris to the dance floor. Eris looked up at me with a sad smile, a smile I understood all too well. I had known this smile since his first brother was born; it was the smile that said ‘It’s time to put up our masks. No more just me and you, we have to put on a show and let me only see a facade.’
I gave Eris a small smile back and wrapped my arms around him in a reassuring hug. “Hey, it’s going to be okay. If the boys get too much we can have a code or a signal or something and I’ll step in.” He hesitated to agree which I knew meant even if he did need to signal me he wouldn’t but I played along and gave him a code word and let him know if he couldn’t get the word out to just tap me twice in quick succession.
He let out a shaky breath. “Right, mask up. Thank you darling.”
I knew how deep their words cut into him. Had been there enough times to see him breakdown over becoming like his father. Had cried to my own father when the lashings first started because Beron was hurting my mate but neither of us could do anything about how Beron saw fit to raise his heir who didn’t even know I was his mate. I had been forced by my father to bite my tongue anytime anyone talked bad about Eris in our household, to protect Eris my father told me. He entwined his fingers with mine and pulled me towards the door to Rita’s.
Inside the party was full swing, lights darkened with fancy lights coming from the live band on stage. Lively attendees filled the dancefloor, and under a faint light in a back corner semi near the bar around a large booth with additional chairs pulled up for Cassian and Azriel was the inner circle and Lucien. Everyone was engaged in conversations except for Lucien who was sipping on a glass of fire brandy from the looks of it.
It was Lucien who was the first to even notice us approach, he scooted over for both of us to fit in the booth. Eris sat next to him and I was on the outside edge of the booth, Feyre chirped a happy greeting and I nodded and smiled back at her. Azriel and Mor shot a glare at Eris, Cassian waved and took a sip of whatever dark liquor he was drinking and continued his conversation with Nesta. The latter gave me a warm smile and tipped her glass towards me in greeting, everyone but Azriel, Mor and Elain had given us some kind of small greeting.
Small talk took over the table. Lucien and Eris finding comfort in each other, I took the chance to slip from the table and grab me and Eris some drinks. I got Eris a glass of the same fire brandy his brother had been drinking, it was an export of the Autumn Court but I knew it was his favorite, and got myself a glass of a spiked Cinnamon and apple cider that was house made. I brought the two glasses back to the table but before I had even made it there I could see the discomfort that lay beneath Eris’s mask.  They had waited till I left the table to begin berating him and it angered me, none of them could see me except for Lucien and Eris. Lucien shot me a warning glance, it meant they were getting real nasty with Eris. I felt my blood boiling and I tried to calm it even slightly as I stepped closer to them, the sound from the band drowning out my movements.
“What right do you even have to ask her to do that, Eris? You are no better than your father, for all we know you whisk her away to the equinox dance and she comes back to us in a worse condition than Mor was because she trusts you for whatever reason. Though I’m sure it's just a flawed judgment on her part.” Azriel growled it at the red head.
I growled under my breath as I raked my own claws across all of their shields as I sat down. I watched Mor flinch as the claws raked against hers and I glared at all of them. Rhy’s eyes found the anger in mine and I saw him recoil slightly realizing he should've stopped them from saying anything while I was gone.
“Absolutely pathetic.” I growled, passing Eris’s cup to him, not bothering to look at anyone else. “I would have thought  you knew better than to behave like complete and utter pricks in my absence.”
“Its fine, they're just trying to protect you.” Eris tried to defend them but I wasn’t going to let him be berated all night.
“No. Eris, it's not fine.” I softened my voice just for him. “My brothers should know you are one of my oldest friends and I will not let them talk bad about you. I have held my tongue long enough. I will not tolerate them saying shit like this to your face at all. I was forced to tolerate it behind your back.”
Eris’s mask cracked just a hair as I could tell he wanted to cry. And Azriel went to say something else, I shot him a dark look. “You have no right to say a word Azriel, you are no better, you only think you are. That ego doesn’t look good on you. Who are you to speak when you do not even know the entire story behind what you bring up.”
Elain scoffed and I had to stop myself from ripping into her own ego as I took a large swing from my own drink. Azriel shut up though he knew I could rip him apart with pretty words as easily as Rhys could mist someone.  Mor flinched  and tried to defend herself.
“Save it, I don't want to hear any of your disappointing excuses for being terrible people. He has been my friend since birth and he is important to me in that regard. I know him better than I know some of you, I have let you slander him because father assured me it was the right thing to do but I am finally done. Apologize for your shitty behavior.” A murmur of apologies echoed from every member of the table and Lucien raised his brows and took a sip from his glass, Eris  looked like he wanted to cry even more now.
“Additionally, did I not run half of this court during Rhys’s absence? Am I not just a few years younger than any of you born fae at this table.” A chorus of yeahs found me.
“Then I will do as I please. And if that means courting Eris, courting my best friend even if it is fake,  so be it because I make my own decisions.” I growled and sat down.
Rhys smiled and nodded, though he wasn’t off the leash himself he at least approved of what I had to say on the matter. Eris took a sip of his fire brandy but his hand found my thigh under the table and he squeezed softly, a silent thank you. Eris’s hand eventually found mine and I played with his rings, if it was comfort he wanted, it was comfort he would get. I only got up from the table to refill our drinks, but when I got back each time it seemed my outburst had silenced them from saying anything to Eris. His warm smile was all that greeted me when I returned with another glass of fire brandy and apple cider in hand.
Rounds of shots and appetizers had made it through the table when Mor had finally pulled all the girls to dance. Rhys pulled Azriel outside to talk, leaving me with both red heads and an incredibly intoxicated Cassian who only managed to mumble a “I'm proud of you, I’m gonna go find Nesta, my pretty lady.”
Lucien dismissed himself to get another glass of his own fire brandy. He had just finished his first glass and was eager to talk to his brother rather than actually drink, though I couldn’t blame the kid. Now that it was just me and Eris left at the table he let his mask slip, he had made it to six glasses of brandy, drinking away the discomfort that was my brothers.
He had greeted me with a big smile when I turned to check in on him. I hadn’t even been able to get a word out before he was thanking me. “I can not begin to describe the many ways in which I am thankful for what you did for me my dear.”
Oh no, he was romantic drunk, and it would be in front of the entire inner circle. “You, my pretty lady, are absolutely, irrevocably wonderful. I am honored to have you defend me so passionately.” He grasped my hand and smiled up at me, I’m cutting him off myself this is his last glass I swear.
I shushed him and he wrapped his arms around my waist, while he was seated and I was still standing so he buried his face into my stomach and murmured continual thanks to me. Lucien appeared back at the table and he took a sip before looking over his glass at me.
“I’ll take him to the bathroom.” Lucien mumbled rubbing his temples and sat his glass down. “Come on Eris, we are going to the bathroom.”
The older sibling whined into my stomach something that sounded like a “I don't wanna leave the pretty lady”
I had to pry his hands from around my waist and tilt his head to look up at me, he gave me those pretty puppy dog eyes. “Eris honey, go with your brother to the bathroom. I’ll be right here when you get back and we can go and dance then.”
He nodded an agreement and stood to walk with Lucien. I had to stifle a laugh when he tried to whisper-yell to Lucien. “Lucien did you hear that she called me honey!”
All Luucien could answer was a small “Yes I heard Eris, what a lucky male you are brother.” and flashed me a look that screamed you owe me for this.
I happily sunk down into my seat and nursed my third glass of my apple cider. After a few moments I saw Mor who wouldn’t make eye contact with me slide into the seat across from me. I wanted to groan thinking my peaceful alone time with my cider was about to get ruined.
I however, was caught off guard when she said “You know the true story about what happened?” I nodded and she took in a sharp breath.
“Then I want to apologize, all this time I thought you just hated me because I took your chance to marry him away.” Her tone was entirely defeated.
“Don’t think anything of it Mor, you had every reason to think that was my problem, It wasn’t my place to start a scene so soon. Plus Eris told me about the uh,” I motioned to her stomach  and she flinched “Wasn’t my place to out you on that though you should clear it up with everyone soon. If anything at least with Cassian, he deserves to know.”
She nodded and gave me a small smile. “What can I do to make it up to you?”
I smiled back at her, our first understanding with each other in hundreds of years. “Just don’t slander him anymore and don’t let anyone else slander him either.” she just nodded and reached out her hand. I shook it, a small barely noticeable tattoo of a butterfly appeared on our inner wrists. She made a deal with me about Eris.
Next thing I knew I had the scent of firewood and cinnamon around me, Eris’s arms encircling me and his happily intoxicated voice chirped at me. “You promised me we could go dance when I got back.”
****
You checked your bandana hadn’t slipped in your drivers side mirror before hopping out your baby blue F-85 Cutlass nervously. You brushed the front of your yellow sun dress before you started strolling into the school.
It was your first day at beacon hills and honestly you couldn’t be more nervous. Being supernatural meant you had to check with any other creatures living here before moving but after seeing Derek Hale the alpha in the area he’d gave you the go ahead telling you most of his pack resides at the same school.
You stared at the doors to the school with a shaker breath before finally opening one door trying to slip in undetected however the second you came in all eyes were on you. God why did you wear yellow today, you cursed yourself.
You look at your locker number on a sheet of paper you were holding and finally found it. You opened it and stuff your books inside before grabbing what you’d need for your first lesson however before you could close the door someone did it for you.
You looked up to see a guy with blonde hair and muscles but you weren’t swayed by his looks you were more angry that he could’ve trapped your hands in your locker but you decided to ignore him and try to walk past him but he quickly grabbed your wrist and dragged you back slightly.
“Where you going babe? My names Sam what’s yours?” He questioned in a tone that implied I had no choice but to answer.
Silly boy.
“Let go of me.” You huffed angrily your southern accent as prominent as ever.
“That’s a really pretty accent where you from?” He tried again and you were very quickly losing your patience.
“Hey Samual how about ya’ let the lady go before I tell Scott you’d be better on the bench.” A voice suddenly said from behind you. You spun around as Sam let you go and stood in front of you was possibly the cutest guy you’d ever seen.
He had little beauty spots all over his pale skin, the most amazing amber coloured eyes you’d ever seen with slightly messy brown hair too. His plump lips left you wondering what they would feel like pressed against yours.
“Whatever Stilinski.” Same grumbled before walking off.
“You the new supernatural?” He asked softly making your eyes widen but you gave him a nervous nod.
“Wolf?” He asked casually as he started strolling down the hall. You followed after him with a small smile.
“Siren.” You responded easily and he stopped quickly glancing at you with shocked eyes.
“I have so many questions.” He chuckled as he continued walking again.
“I would be happy to answer them all…Stilinski?” You replied cheerfully you southern accent causing him to smile.
“I like your accent and you can call me Stiles.” He grinned down at you as you flushed slightly.
“T-Thank you.” You muttered shyly as you looked down at the ground.
“I honestly thought you were gonna tell me you were a fairy.” Stiles suddenly said as he stopped in front of what also happened to apparently be his class.
“Why?” You asked curiously a slight frown on your face.
“Cos’ you’re pretty and delicate looking.” He answered honestly making you flush again.
“Stilinski stop flirting and sit your ass down!” The teacher shouted making you jump slightly.
“Yes coach!” Stiles shouted with gritted teeth making you giggle behind your hand.
“You’re the new girl…Y/N Y/L/N?” The coach asked and you nodded shyly making him look around the room.
“Lydia you can show Y/N around today.” He instructed and a small red head waved her hand at you and the seat next to her.
“I see you met Stiles.” Lydia spoke quietly as you opened your economics book.
“Yes he’s very charmin’.” You drawled softly making her eyes widen.
“Stiles? Stilinski?” She raised a brow at you making you blush once again. For goodness sake you wish you stop blushing.
“Mhm. He saved me from a jerk called Sam then said I was pretty and delicate like a fairy.” You giggled softly as you looked over to his seat noticing he was already looking at you, he gave a you a small wave with his slender fingers making you flush again.
“Stiles did?” Lydia huffed like she couldn’t quite believe what she was hearing but you didn’t noticed as you were too busy staring at Stiles who had turned back round to face the front.
His shoulders were broad and strong looking and those beauty spots spread round the back of his neck too. It was very distracting so when coach called on you, you had no idea what to say.
“I’m as lost as last years Easter egg Sir.” You blurted out making everyone laugh and coach look at you in confusion.
“I ain’t gotta clue coach.” You stated clearly this time making him roll his eyes.
“McCall.” He growled as his eyes flicked to a dark hair tan boy.
“Coach have you done something different with your hair?” The boy called McCall laughed nervously and Stile buried his head in his desk to contain his laughter.
You casually leaned onto your hand hiding your mouth as best you could unfortunately coaches eyes clocked both you and Stilinski he was seething.
“Detention. Stilinski. Y/N. And let’s not forget McCall!” He screamed making you jump slightly but you had to bite you lip to stop from laughing.
Great detention on your first day.
*****
You glanced around the cafeteria as you spotted Lydia waving to you. You strolled over to what you assumed was the pack table with grace as you found a seat next to Stiles.
“Hi.” Stiles said sweetly as he shot you a grin that made you flush with a small shy smile occupying your lips.
“Hi.” You muttered softly looking up to see everyone staring at you.
“Stiles says you’re a Siren? What exactly is that?” McCall asked carefully with furrowed brows.
“Oh my god do you have a tale?” A curly haired boy asked across the table.
“Not that I’m aware of.” You snorted softly making stiles smile.
“So what can you do?” Stiles asked casually as he ate a French fry.
“I can sing. I’ve been told when sirens get older they can single handedly stop wars.” You informed seriously making everyone nod thoughtfully.
“So does it work on everyone? What exactly happens when someone is sung to?” He carried on his questions which you happily answered throughout lunch time.
By the end of lunch you’d learnt everyone names and their place in the pack. You found them all so fascinating and it was nice to belong to a group so quickly.
******
You were making your way to detention with coach when you bumped into a rather sturdy chest making you stumble backwards however a strong arm wrapped around your waist stopping you from falling on your ass.
You automatically placed your hands on whoever’s chest it was to steady yourself before looking up to see it was Stiles. Your eyes fluttered a little as you took in his featured this close up.
“S-Sorry I wasn’t w-watchin’ where I was goin’.” You stuttered nervously before taking your hands away from his chest but still not stepping back.
“It’s okay Y/N.” The way he said your name made you shiver and your heart to start to pound in your chest.
You moved around him to walk into coaches econ room as your tried to contain your heart rate knowing Scott would hear it. Scott was already sat in the room where coach stood up and stared down at all of you with a glare.
“I have stuff to do so sit here and read or something. No talking.” He stated before leaving the room.
You sat there reading a book you’d bought yourself last week in silence until the boys started whispering to one another making you look up catching them looking at you.
“Is it genetic or because you’re a siren?” Scott asked nervously making you frown. You ween’t sure what they were referring to so you just raised a brow at them.
“Your…well everything.” Stiles pointed to your body and waved his hand awkwardly.
“Are ya’ll asking if am attractive because am a siren?” You drawled with an eye roll.
“Yes?” He chuckled unsure of whether he was offending you.
“The answer is I don’t know. My mama was real pretty but she was human. So could be either as I got the siren side from my daddy.” You giggled softly making them nod with a small smile.
Detention came and went without a hitch and you were now walking with Scott and Stiles to the parking lot, giggling softly at them as they bickered with one another like brothers.
“Would either of you like dinner at mine? I usually make way too much for myself?” You asked as both boys walked you to your car.
“I would but I promised my mom I’d bring her dinner tonight.” Scott chuckled making you nod softly.
“My dads working all night so yeah I’d love to.” Stiles answered honestly making you smile at him gently.
“Just follow me. Oh an I’ll give ya’ some for you to take to your dad.” You offered, flushing a little when Stiles opened your car door helping you in like a true gentleman.
He nodded at you offer for food for his dad as you clicked your seat belt in before closing the door. You rolled down your window and gave him your best and brightest southern belle smile.
“Why thank you.” You replied playfully your southern accent making it even more humorous.
“You are quite welcome Miss Y/L/N.” Stiles said with a fake southern accent making you giggle.
“I’ll see you soon.” You muttered before waving him to his car.
As you drove home you occasionally checked you mirror making sure you still looked put together before applying a little gloss with one hand as you tried to pay attention to the road still.
You brush the ends of your hair a little, your waves falling nicely over your shoulders as finally pulled up at your little house.
“So you live alone?” Stiles asked as he got out his jeep.
“Mhmm ma’ daddy left me the car and both parents left me enough money to buy myself and house and live off until I finish school.” You answered honestly making him smile understandingly.
“It’s a nice car.” He stated as you unlocked your front door.
Your house was small and on the edge of the woods but it had a nice garden in the front and back which allowed you to grow fruit and vegetables. You also had two chickens in the back allowing you to live mostly off the land accept for meat.
“I used to live on a big farm.” You stated with a chuckled as he observed you house quietly.
“How was that?” He asked sweetly making you grin.
“It was fun. I spent my life raising stock and riding horses in the country but after they died I couldn’t stay there so I sold the farm and started looking for somewhere to live. I eventually decided on California but I didn’t wanna live in the city so I looked at near by towns and found this one had the most supernatural activity and decided I’d maybe finally have friends that understood being different.” You rambled as you took some vegetables, you’d picked this morning, out the fridge.
You had been living here a few weeks before you started school so you could get yourself settled and now everything in your home was exactly how you wanted it.
“That sounds nice actually. I’ve always been more of a wild card I guess. Scott actually got bit one night when I thought it would be fun to go and find a dead body in the woods. My dads the Sheriff so I listen in on all his calls and radio stuff.” He chuckled darkly making you smile sadly.
“Ya’ couldn’t of known Stiles.” You stated seriously as you touched his arm sweetly before taking out a knife and began chopping some tomatoes up.
“Did you not have a boyfriend you were leaving behind?” He suddenly asked making you pause in your current task.
You looked up at him in shock before giggling and shaking your head. You weren’t exactly popular in your old school in fact most people thought you and your mother were witches.
“No I had a boyfriend a few years ago but he dumped me when everyone kept telling him I was a cursed witch.” You chuckled softly making his eyes widen.
“I used to be in love with Lydia. She was popular and I was a serious nerd so I wasn’t in her league but I guess we are friends now.” He huffed with an awkwardly laugh.
“Well her loss.” You stated sweetly as you smiled at him.
“Most would argue that. Including me.” He laughed making you frown.
“You’re hot, sweet, a gentleman and smart I don’t under how people aren’t flocking to your door.” You replied honestly but blushed at your own words avoiding his eyes as you continued chopping up more vegetables.
“You think I’m hot?” Stiles asked in disbelief.
“Well you think I’m pretty and delicate.” You retaliated slightly childishly.
“That’s because you are.” He whispered suddenly you were very aware he wasn’t stood across the room but was now stood behind you.
As he spoke his breath had fanned against your neck causing a shiver to run down you spine and goosebumps to make an appearance.
His hand were on you hips lightly pressing as he turned you around to face him, effectively trapping you against the kitchen counter. His amber coloured eyes lit up under the glow of the late evening sun and his lips were looking much more tempting.
“Can I kiss you?” He asked sweetly as his hand pushed your hair away from your neck softly before cupping under your jaw.
You were so captivated by him the next words that came out weren’t exactly voluntary.
“You…can do whatever you want to me Stiles Stilinski.” You muttered breathlessly.
That’s all it took for him to lean down and close the gap between you. His lips were just as soft as you’d pictured them but the way he kissed you took you by surprise. He gripped onto you tightly, his kiss was passionate yet so loving like you were lover he couldn’t bare to part with.
You whimpered against his lips as his tongue swept across your bottom lip slowly as if he didn’t dare ask for permission but you gave it him instantly.
Yours arms came up to his chest gripping the black tshirt under his plaid one. Once your tongue met and entangled with his, your legs instantly felt weak underneath you. So when they collapsed from under you, you weren’t exactly surprised.
However Stiles seemed to be as he caught you up but pulled back from the kiss to look down at you with wide eyes. His eyes scanned your entire face as if looking for the reason your legs gave out but all he saw was how fucked you were just from a kiss.
“Jesus…you look…blissed.” He whispered in utter disbelief before diving back down and claiming your lips again.
You moaned into his mouth, your hands never letting go of his black T-shirt as honestly the rest of your body wasn’t cooperating you were a puddle under his strong arms and sweet lips.
His hands skimmed across the tiny patch of skin exposed on your ribs and your face flushed and you stuttered out a breath. He pulled back again his eyes scanning you whole body this time.
“Are you always this responsive?” He asked shyly as he finally stepped back slightly making you grab onto the counter to steady yourself.
“N-No.” You whispered quietly.
“I would like to take you on a date.” Stiles suddenly asked making you flush slightly but smile at his words giving him an enthusiastic nod.
*****
It had been a few weeks since you and Stiles had started dating but you’d yet to tell the pack because Stiles said he wanted you all himself for a little bit.
However as the weeks went on you began hating the secret more and more. Mostly because you weren’t able to touch him in school and it was killing you. You’d only made out a few times since the first kiss and you didn’t want to pressure Stiles but you were really starting to feet a tad bit touch starved.
It wasn’t like you didn’t have other people who hugged you and left little touches on your shoulder but it wasn’t Stiles. Which is how you found yourself absolutely bewitched with your hot sweating boyfriend as he ran around at lacrosse practice.
You didn’t even know how long you’d been staring but when Lydia’s voice spoke next to you, you jumped a little.
“Do you see what I see Allison?” Lydia teased as she watched you closely.
“Oh you mean the drool coming off Y/N’s lip?” She laughed as she looked down at the field.
“Which one is it? Hmm? I know all the players I could introduce you!” Lydia exclaimed making your eyes widen half thankful they hadn’t realise who captured your attention. You look back down to see Stiles lift his shirt to wipe his face before taking a drink, your face flushed as you let out a little squeak.
“Oh my god is it-” You covered Lydia mouth before she could say it and he face lit up.
“Shh the boys have Wolf hearing you know!” You snapped quietly making Scott look up at you guys.
“But the one your looking at doesn’t!” Lydia squealed like it was scandalous.
Scott nudged Stiles throwing his head in your direction with a smile making Stiles look up at you with a grin. He gave you a wink before running back off to practise occasionally catching your eyes on him.
“Did Stiles Stilinski just wink at you!?” Erica laughed making you bury your head in the book you had been trying to read before you got distracted.
“You guys are so embarrassing.” You grumbled with a pout as you sunk into your seat on the bleachers more.
******
Once practise had finished you and the girls made your way to your locker so you could grab your jacket they gossiped away about random things happening in school but quickly shut up as soon as Stiles started towards your locker.
You closed you locker quietly but suddenly your back was against your locker and Stiles was in front of you, arm leaning next to your head as he bent down slightly so his eyes were boring into yours.
“You got plans?” He asked casually making Lydia whisper something to Allison you didn’t quite catch.
“I’m going shopping with the girls tonight for the dance on Friday.” You answered quietly glancing at the girls who were wide eyed and very interested to see where this was going.
“You look good in red.” He stated seriously before before glancing at the girls then back to you.
“Wanna go to the dance together?” He asked teasingly making you flush and look at the floor with a nod.
“I’ll pick you up at 7.” He chuckled before walking off with a smirk.
“What’s gotten into him?” Erica laughed like she couldn’t believe that was even Stiles.
“Your gonna have to drag me to the car. I’ve suddenly lost the ability to move my legs.” You sighed dreamily making the girls giggle.
“So how long you guys been dating?” Allison suddenly asked making your eyes bug out there head before you started choking on thin air.
“Since my first week…but we kissed the first day.” You informed them shyly.
“Oh my god. How have you guys kept this a secret from wolves?!” Lydia laughed as you rolled your eyes playfully.
“Because we haven’t gone on that many dates and we’ve only kissed a handful of times.” You muttered with a blush covering your cheeks as you arrived at your car.
“Why?” Erica asked suspiciously.
“I don’t know…maybe I seem too desperate. Whenever he kisses me I always looked like I’ve had my brains fucked out.” You mumbled shrugging your shoulders.
“Oooooh.” Lydia says like she finally understands.
“What?” You asked quickly earning a few giggles.
“He’s treating you like a delicate flower.” Allison answered honestly making you frown.
“He needs to know you want him to take control. You’re a sexy siren he probably thinks that if you wanted to go further you would.” Erica suggested as an alternative.
“Or maybe he doesn’t wanna push you. You maybe a sexy siren but you’re also very shy. There’s one word that might work to push him over the edge.” Lydia sighed softly before raising her brows as if trying to build tension.
“Please.” She stated seriously and you frowned in confusion.
“Erica you drive I need more context.” You say passing her the keys to your car.
You got in the back with Lydia as Allison took the passenger seat. You glanced at Lydia and gave her a nod letting her know you need more information. She clicked her seatbelt on and launched into her explanation.
“So you look like that after making out so the easiest thing to do would be look him in the eyes when he pulls away say ‘please’ in a quiet voice and then bite your bottom lip.” She stated like it was common knowledge.
“That will work?” You questioned uneasily.
“Yes 100%.” Lydia nodded enthusiastically.
Okay so that’s what you’ll do the next chance you get.
*****
You ran you hand over you dress as you stared at your reflection before spinning round to Allison who was getting ready at yours since Scott would be riding with us too.
“You look amazing stop doubting yourself.” She stated without you even saying a word.
“If you don’t get laid tonight we’re going back to that shop for a refund.” Lydia said over the FaceTime on Allison’s phone.
“Okay I’m ready.” You stood with your head held high as Allison put the last leaf clip on your hair.
“Good because I think the boys are here.” She said as she glanced out your bedroom window.
You both came down and opened the door before Stiles even had chance to knock, his eyes widening as they ran down your full body.
“I think he’s broken.” Scott said to Allison as he escorted her to the car.
“I am not broken I was trying not to say something inappropriate in front of company.” He growled with a smirk on his face as he offered you his hand.
“Shame on you Mr Stilinski.” You giggled softly before taking his offered arm.
“Not yet.” He muttered under his breath but you heard it causing you to flush.
*******
As you walked into the dance on Stiles arm a lot of people looked shocked. You weren’t sure if it was your dress or your date but you didn’t care.
Stiles was looking at you like you were the only one in the room and that was worth more attention than other people. He was wearing a black suit jacket a black shirt and red tie with plain black slacks.
“To the dance floor sexy lady.” He chuckled as he spun you playfully on your way to the dance floor.
You happily danced to a few songs before you dragged him off to sit down. He kissed your head, before telling you he’d get you a drink. Allison smirked at you the second he was gone but you just rolled your eyes at her.
“He’s so confident. It’s weird.” Scott laughed as her glanced over at you.
“It’s probably because there’s only room for one blushing mess in a relationship.” You joked softly making him shoot you his famous dopey grin.
“Or maybe you make him feel sexy.” Erica snorted making you flush once again.
You ignored all of them as Stiles brought you a drink. You took a sip before looking over at him with a sweet smile. He shot you a small grin before tucking a loose strand of hair behind your ear.
“I’m gonna get some air.” You whispered in his ear so he’d hear you okay, he nodded and put his jacket over your shoulders before holding out his arm for you again.
You shot a look over your shoulders letting the girls know you were gonna try now. Their eyes widened as they looked at each other with a grins on their face.
You leaned against the wall outside the school taking a deep breath as you let the cold air take away some of your cheeks redness.
“You look like a goddess.” Stiles whispered as he approached, blocking you against the wall, both his hands laying flat beside your head.
“And you look hot as fuck with your sleeves rolled up.” You giggled playfully making him bow his head against your collar bone with a laugh.
He looked up again his eyes flicking between your red lips and your Y/E/C eyes. You slid your hands up his ribs to his chest as he leaned in and finally kissed you.
He started slow but when you accepted his tongue into the equation he quickly became more frantic. His hands moving to your hips as he pulled your body towards him so you were pressed against him completely.
When you nails raked down his chest he pulled away and stared into your eyes like he always did only this time you looked back.
“Please.” You moaned before biting your lip. It happened faster than you thought it would his eyes went from amber to almost completely black as he gripped your hips in a way you knew would leave bruises.
“Fuck.” He groaned as you pulled you in for a quick yet passionate kiss.
“Go get in the jeep.” He instructed, passing you the keys.
As you turned to go to the jeep you noticed the girl peeking round the corner and shooed them away. You jogged over to the jeep getting in the passenger side before popping the key in the ignition.
Stiles got into the car started it, his free hand coming to rest on your thigh and he didn’t say a would the whole ride home. Once we arrived he ran round and opened the door for you, holding out his hand so you could stepped out.
He locked his car before dragging you towards the house still not saying anything as he took your keys and unlocked your front door.
However once the door was shut he spun around pushing you against the wall next to the front door, his lips on your immediately.
“Say it again.” He murmured against your lips.
“Please. Need you Stiles.” You added this time.
His hands were in your hair gripping it as he pulling you into another heavy kiss. Your tongue didn’t even try to battle it yet gave into him like he was in control of your body.
“God do you know how hard it was to stop after kissing you all those other time?” Stiles groaned as he began kissing down your neck, nipping and sucking the skin around your collar bone as he reached it.
“I wanted you on that first day.” You moaned softly as his hand wandered down to your ass.
“If I had known that I would’ve taken you on the fucking kitchen counter sweet girl.” He whispered in you ear seductively.
“Run to your bedroom, get out that dress and wait for me on the bed.” You gave him a nod before running to your bedroom.
You hurried to unsteadily unbuckle your shoes before kicking them off and then you unzipped your dress. You let the dress fall to the floor and took off your jewellery finally leaving you in a simple blood red thong.
You laid down on your bed kicking your legs in the air for about 5 minutes before Stiles came in with two waters and a bunch of snacks making you furrow you brow at him in frustration.
“Don’t worry that’s for after I’m done with you baby.” He chuckled as he stripped his shirt and tie before doing the same with his pants leaving him in boxers only.
He crawled onto the bed with a smirk before flipping you over some he could take all of you in. His long slender hand trailed down your neck and in between your bare chest and you stomach before you got to the edge of your panties.
“May I?” He asked sweetly making you flush but give him a nod of confirmation.
He pulled down your panties at an agonisingly slowly pace leaving kisses in his wake. When they were finally on the floor he opened your legs and really took your whole body in as he bit his bottom lip.
“Look at you all laid out and wet for me. You really are a goddess sent just for me.” He groaned as he admired your glistening sex.
“Need you to touch me Sti.” You moaned as you hand your own hands over you erect nipples.
“Okay baby. I got you.” He whispered seductively as his head disappeared from view.
His breath was suddenly blowing across your wet folds. You shivered nervously but opened your legs more for him which he rewarded with a small kiss on you thigh.
“Your so pretty baby.” He muttered as his tongue came out to lick gently up your slit.
You quickly realised he wasn’t just talking about you in general, he was talking about a specific part of you that he was currently spreading out gently.
You felt so exposed but you never once tried to hide yourself from his gaze or touch. You knew it was because you trusted him with all of you, even your heart.
“Come here baby.” He whispered as he gripped your thighs, pulling you closer before his tongue was on you.
He was gentle and very attentive, he listened to your body and responded. When he thrust his tongue inside of you, you couldn’t help the long dirty moan that came out your mouth as you grind against his tongue.
“Stiles.” You whimpered as your hands thread through his hair pulling slightly as his tongue went back to your clit drawing random shapes on it.
As he continued his ministrations there whilst he used the wetness from your entrance to coat two of his fingers. He circled around you hole causing your hole to flutter.
“Please need yer’ long fingers. Been thinking about them since you first waved at me in class.” You pleaded quietly, blushing at your own words.
“So needy aren’t you baby?” He whispered against your clit before continuing his task.
He pushed twos finger in causing you to feel a slight stretch. His fingers were a lot bigger than yours but you didn’t care you loved it. He curled his fingers upwards and started massaging that spot you had honestly never bothered to find.
“Oh god…love please.” You begged as you started grinding against him again and he he never stopped you.
Suddenly you had a boost of confidence and gripped its harder pulling and pushing him where you want it seem to turn him on further making him moan against your clit.
He suddenly started licking faster, his fingers never stopping but then he pulled away sitting up as you teetered the edge. Before you could say anything he start thrusting his finger in an upwards motion as the heel of his hand grind against your swollen wet button.
“Oh fuck!” You screamed as you gripped the sheets at either side of you desperately trying to ground yourself.
He sped up his hand making you arch your back off the bed. He moved his palm but his fingers kept up and he dove back down using his tongue again. The switch to soft and wet had you cumming without warning.
“Fuck.” Stiles moaned as he sat back to watch you come undone.
You body shook as your legs slammed shut twitching slightly. You looked up at him with hooded eyes as you pulled him towards you.
“You should know…I’m a virgin.” You whispered breathlessly
“So am I baby.” Stiles chuckled before kissing your chest before moving to your nipples.
“How did you make me cum better than I’ve ever done to myself?” You giggled softly which was broken my a moan as Stiles bit your nipple and a predatory grin on his face.
“I like research.” Was all he said before sitting up again.
“You got a condom?” He asked cautiously.
“No but I’ve been on iud since about a year ago for other reason.” You blushed at the implication but when you saw Stiles eyes darken further it was worth it.
“Need to be inside you.” Stiles groaned before bending down to kiss you passionately.
He lined himself at your entrance as he pulled back from the kiss to look into your eyes. You gave him a nod as you wrapped your arms around him. Fuck he was bigger than you’d expected.
You dug your nails into his back as he pushed into you slowly, his forehead leaning against yours as he stared into your eyes.
It felt so intimate and right even as he finally broke through your barrier. You whimpered in pain a single tear falling down the side of your face which he wiped away sweetly before kissing you lovingly.
“That’s the hard bit done baby. I’m sorry.” He whispered against your cheeks the guilt in his voice made your heart flutter as you clung to him tightly.
You looked into his eyes and in the moment you knew. You were so utterly in love with him.
“I love you Stiles.” You whispered thought it came more out like a moan when you moved by accident causing him to push in deeper.
He stared at you for a second as if process what you’d said before he kissed you again for a few seconds then pulled back.
“I love you too.” He huffed with a small laugh like he was trying to contain his happiness.
“Make love to me Stiles.” You whimpered as you grind against him, the pain mostly gone.
“I got you.” He whispered breathlessly against your skin.
He pulled almost all the way out before slowly pushing back in, changing his angles with every thrust until you cried out loudly making him chuckle softly.
“That the right spot baby?” Stiles teased as he grind into that spot again.
“Mhm. Feel’s so good.” You whimpered as your fingers came to thread through his hair.
You tugged at the strands making him thrust into you a little harder still hitting that spot. God you told him to make love to you but honestly with how you felt you really wish he’d just fuck you.
You ran your hands down the back of his neck gently before you got to his back and scraped you nails down in. He arched his back pressing his chest into yours but did exactly what you wanted and sped up.
“Oh shi- Yes!” You moaned rather loudly which only seemed to have Stiles speeding up more.
“Come on baby.You gonna cum for me?” He smirked but that quickly dropped as he moaned when you clenched around him.
His hand snaked down to your clit rubbing slow soft circles on it which paired with the fact that he was fucking you like a wild animal tipped you over the edge.
“Shit Stiles! Oh y-yeah cum inside me Sti. Want yer’ to fill me up.” You moaned as you rode out your orgasm.
Stiles pulled his hand away and started pounding into you with everything he had. You clenched around him and finally you felt him twitch inside you as he coated your walls.
His thrusts slowed down until they stopped as you collapsed on top of you however quickly rolled you over so you were on top.
He didn’t move to take himself out of you as he laid there catching his breath as you laid on his chest your eyes drifting slightly. Stiles sat up with you in his lap, still inside of you.
You whimpered a little clenching around his now half hard cock. You stared up at him with so much love as he stroked you cheek sweetly.
“Was that okay baby?” He asked softly causing a dopey grin to take over your face.
“Was perfect. Love how ya’ feel inside me.” You giggled drowsily as you threw your arms around his neck.
“I love you.” He whispered against your hair before rolling over so you were under him again.
“I love you too.” You replied as he pulled out causing a moan to leave you mouth.
“Stay there my love.” He muttered as he ran off to you bathroom across the hall.
He came back with a cloth, wiping you down which made you flush and hide you face behind your arms. He chuckled before taking the cloth back to your bathroom you popped on you things before passing him to go into the bathroom and pee.
You came back and he was sat in his boxers drinking some water and texting he someone. But as you came in topless he soon dropped it and crooked his finger telling you to come here you sat down on his lap and curled up into his chest.
“I’ve just told my da-”
His phone started ringing seeng his dads name on the screen he rolled his eyes and clicked the green phone icon before putting it on speaker as he passed you your water.
“Your not with Scott because his mom just left the hospital to pick him up cos you left him and Allison at the dance.” His dad huffed with what you could feel was definitely and eye roll.
“Fine I’m at my girlfriends.” He answered honestly but his dad went silent.
“What girlfriend?” He suddenly said like he wasn’t sure he heard right.
“I knew you wouldn’t believe me.” Stiles grumbled making you giggle.
“Oh my god that was a girl! Is that why you bought a new suit?” The sheriff laughed.
“Good bye Daddio!” Stiles shouted as he hung up.
“Aww you bought a new suit for me?” You giggled softly making him roll his eyes playfully.
“Come here my sexy little siren.” He chuckled as he pulled you on top of him.
WIP excerpt behind the cut; Match is technically also a Luthor.
“The stylist,” the chauffeur–Mercy, apparently–says, sounding disgusted.
“Well, I’m hardly going to be letting the boy run around downtown wearing someone else’s branding,” Luthor snorts. Match considers pointing out how he’s always wearing the Agenda’s branding no matter how he’s dressed, given the obvious, but can’t imagine Luthor appreciating the interruption. Then again, Luthor also might not appreciate finding that out later, if for some reason he’s unaware, so . . .
“I’m already branded,” he says. Luthor pauses, then turns his head towards him, his eyes just barely narrowing.
“Clarify that statement, Lysander,” he says.
“The Agenda had me branded during development,” Match says, because despite his survival instinct immediately kicking into high alert at the sight of that narrow-eyed expression, he’s also not stupid enough to defy a direct order from his new owner. Or any kind of order from his new owner, at this point. He doesn't know where the line is for Lex Luthor yet. “There’s a tattoo of their insignia on the left side of my chest.”
“Hm,” Luthor says, watching him strangely intently for someone who’s not actively attempting to kill him. “Hope. Mercy. Pencil us in for another meeting with Erica next week. Just wherever she’s decided to go to ground by then, obviously.”
“Yes, sir,” Hope and Mercy reply in crisp unison. At least, Match is assuming “Hope” is the bodyguard, at this point.
. . . did Luthor rename them too, actually? Because “Hope” and “Mercy” don’t sound like very Amazonian names, and also are suspiciously close to complementary on top of that.
Well, that clearly is something Luthor’s willing to do, so maybe. It isn’t important or useful information, but it’s still information, Match supposes.
He doesn’t even know why he noticed something that unimportant, though.
“Good,” Luthor says as the elevator stops and its doors slide open all in perfect silence. He adjusts his cuffs, which still don’t need it, and then strides out into the . . . apartment, it looks like. There isn’t a hall, just a flat area with incredibly expensive-looking marble flooring and an end table next to the elevator door, and a much larger open area sparsely-decorated with things that make “incredibly expensive” seem like an understatement.
More than just an understatement, in fact.
Match follows Luthor, because Hope and Mercy seem to be waiting for him to and he hasn’t been told differently by Luthor. There’s no higher floor, as far as he knows, so . . .
This is definitely an apartment. Match has never actually been inside an apartment before, but he knows what they’re supposed to look like from his uploads, and there are too many little hints of personality for it to be an office or hotel. Or at least, he thinks there are.
He really doesn’t know why Luthor brought him here, though. Maybe he just needs to pick something up and this is a detour. Maybe he doesn’t feel like going into whatever lab he’s intending to leave him in today. Maybe–
“I’m home!” Luthor announces to the empty penthouse, and Match feels something move farther into the apartment–back towards the back of the floor, in a large and cluttered separate room that isn’t decorated anything like the rest of the place. And then that something runs out of the room and towards Luthor, a bigger something following it, and Match has exactly enough time to realize what that “something” is before a child rushes into view from the opposite side of the living room, another apparent bodyguard following after her. This one is a generic-looking man in a suit, and looks more harried than Hope and Mercy did in open combat.
The child is . . . five, or maybe six. Female and skinny and tall for her age, with green eyes and chin-length blonde hair held back by a gold barrette, and wearing bright green leggings and a purple T-shirt dress with electric yellow stars on it. She has a few books and notebooks clutched to her chest, and a handful of colored pencils in her free hand. She’s . . .
Match has never actually seen a child in person before, unless in-development and un-decanted clones count. Which they don’t, obviously.
He has absolutely no idea why there’s one here.
“Father!” the child says excitedly, then runs up to Luthor, and Match has the absolutely insane-seeming experience of watching a six year-old prattle on as she shows Lex Luthor a picture of a kitty and a flower and a nuclear reactor.
. . . what? What is actually happening here?
“The reactor design looks promising,” Luthor observes, inspecting the picture with all apparent interest. Match might be hallucinating, he thinks. No, he’s definitely hallucinating. “How’s your new babysitter behaving?”
“He’s inefficient and bad at physics,” the child says with a pout, then makes a face. “And boring.”
“You’re fired,” Luthor instructs the bodyguard pleasantly, who looks alarmed. “Get out.”
“But–!” the man starts to protest, and then Luthor quirks an eyebrow at him and he goes very, very pale and scurries for the elevator. Luthor doesn’t watch him go, his attention already back on the child.
“I’ve brought you something,” he says. “Lena, this is Lysander. Lysander, Lena Luthor the second.”
. . . is this what Luthor wants him for, Match thinks as he stares blankly at Lena Luthor and feels the ex-bodyguard duck into the elevator. Does he want a better bodyguard for . . . whoever this is? There wasn’t any information about any other Luthors in his uploads aside from a passing mention of a sister, so . . . is this that sister, or a niece, or . . . ?
“Lysander,” Lena says, looking past Luthor to inspect Match calculatingly. “He looks like Superboy, but he’s colored in wrong.”
Match resists the urge to bristle. He isn’t–wrong. There’s nothing wrong with him.
“I’m an upgraded design,” he says, short and flat, and then Lena looks fascinated and peers closer at him.
“He’s your new baby brother,” Luthor says, patting Lena’s head. “Make the most of him, hm?”
Lena looks even more fascinated. Match is too busy being absolutely fucking baffled to even say anything to that. He’s physiologically older than her. And also, what the hell does Luthor mean by “brother”? Calling him Superboy's brother is one thing, stupid as it is, but Lena Luthor is a real person.
But also, he’s older than her.
This is the most ridiculous day of his life.
————
“Billy.” He’s warm. He’s so warm. And his arm is heavy where he’s thrown it over your back, hooked his fingers under your side.
“No.”
“Billy, please.” You’re pleading with him. He’s practically on top of you, tucked into your side like this, the both on your stomachs.
“No,” he says into your shoulder.
“Billy, I have to pee.”
He groans. “Whatever.”
He rolls off of you onto his back, and watches as you pull yourself up and out of bed, leaving to use the bathroom.
While you’re gone, Billy thinks about how he’s never slept in someone else’s bed. Every girl he’s ever been with has been in his bed, when he knew no one else was home (for the most part). He never wanted to chance the interaction with someone else’s family.
But you feel safe. Your home feels safe. And you’re not just some chick he’s invited over for a little temporary stress relief.
Billy also thinks about how he’s never had a sleepover. He never had friends to do that with when he was younger—Neil would’ve thought it was inappropriate even if he had.
Billy stretches, sliding further into the bed and off the pillows, arms over his head. He then relaxes his arms, one flopping over the spot you’d been in. His hand bumps into something soft, and he runs his fingers over the sheets, searching for it. He knows what it is before he sees it.
It’s a teddy bear. His heart clenches. He hadn’t even realized you’d been cuddled up with that thing all night, and thinking about you like that makes him feel all soft and gooey.
For a second he feels a pang in his chest, like he shouldn’t be letting you turn him into a pussy. But those aren’t his words. He knows it.
Billy thinks about his mother for a moment. How she’d love you. He was so shy as a kid. She always had a soft spot for the shy ones.
He fidgets with one of your bear’s ears, remembering the one he’d had as a kid. His mom had given it to him. It was this pale blue color, and though small, but it always felt just right to hold. He’s pretty sure it’s in a box somewhere now.
Your footsteps snap him out of his reverie. You return with a little yellow paper between your fingers.
Billy Hargrove splayed out in your bed is something you’re not sure you’ll ever get used to. He looks like a dream. His curls are frizzy from sleep, the cutoff tank top he’s wearing twisted around his torso, one thigh sticking out from under the covers.
“Mom’s not here,” you start. “Left a note saying Wendy called and they’re having brunch. Apparently she didn’t want to wake us.”
You set the paper down on your nightstand and plop on the bed beside him, sitting up on your knees.
“You look so pretty,” you tell him.
Billy starts laughing. You swat at his side, but he grabs your hand and pulls it to his mouth, pressing a warm and slightly chapped kiss to your skin.
“So do you,” he says, squeezing at your hand. You almost argue with him, but the look in his eye tells you he really thinks so, and you decide against deprecating yourself.
You run your fingers over his hair. “You should let me braid it today.”
Billy rolls his eyes. “Only if you tell me who this is.” He grabs for your bear, shaking it around before sitting it up on his stomach.
You gasp dramatically, bringing a hand to your chest. “That’s Teddy.”
“Teddy? How original.”
“Fuck you, Hargrove. Teddy is a gentleman.”
“A gentleman who sleeps in your bed every night,” he argues.
“He’s comforting. I’m lonely.” That hits a nerve, and you watch Billy’s expression change.
“Can I ask you something?” he says.
You take your bear, standing him up on Billy’s stomach. He puts his arms under his head, watching you. “You can ask me anything, Billy.” He tugs on your bears arm absentmindedly, nodding.
“Are still lonely even with me around?”
You stop, put Teddy down. You think about what to say for a moment, and your silence freaks Billy out.
“Because if you are, tell me what to do.” He sits up, and you watch as he adjusts his shirt and shakes out his hair.
Your heart starts to pound and your mind is abuzz with emotion. All of it for him.
“Sometimes I am. When you’re not with me.”His shoulders relax a little, though he hates knowing you feel alone at all.
“But it doesn’t really ache anymore. I don’t really have this longing for someone to care about me. And I know I’ve had my mom, but that’s not enough, you know? Even if I feel selfish saying that.”
“But now I have you. And I’m pretty sure you care about me.”
I more than care about you, Billy thinks.
Billy puts a hand against your cheek, and you lean into his touch. His lips quirk up at the gesture.
“It’s not selfish to want to be cared for,” Billy tells you. “You’ve taught me that, you know.”
“Really?”
He nods. “And I know what you mean about the ache. Sometimes you just want someone in the room with you, and that’d be enough. But, Y/N, I really do care about you. Even if I don’t say it enough. You’re my best friend.”
Both of Billy’s hands are on your face now, and his tone is nothing but sincere.
“You’re my best friend too. I care about you loads, Billy.”
“Really?”
“Yes. More than anything.”
You lean up, and kiss him on the forehead. It’s lingering and soft. Billy feels like he could scream or maybe cry.
You’re letting him in. He wants to stay.
————
“You’re sure you’re not hungry?”
“I’m sure, babydoll.”
Your breath catches at that name.
Billy’s never been much of a breakfast person. He always preferred to wait until lunchtime. But nevertheless, he appreciates your offer to fix him something. He also knows he should probably leave soon. Max wants to go to the arcade today.
You grab hold of the edge of the kitchen counter, backing up a little ways and stretching yourself out, head bent to face the floor.
“Billy?”
“Hm?” He leans against the cabinets next to you. He’s gotten dressed, though you’re still in your pajamas. You hate that he’s going to go soon.
You straighten, looking at him. There’s been something on your mind. “Why don’t you ever change your ring or your necklace? I only ask because you change earrings, but those stay the same.”
Billy smiles at you. “You spend a lot of time looking at what I wear?”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“I’m sure.” He winks at you. You ignore it.
“You don’t have to tell me,” you say.
He pinches your side. “It’s fine. The ring is just my favorite. That’s all. And it gives me something to mess with when I’m anxious.”
“So all the time?”
“Shut up.”
You laugh.
“The necklace…it was my mom’s.”
Your breath catches a little, and you lead Billy back to your room where he can sit. He settles on the end of your bed. He hasn’t told you much about her, other than that she left. That his parent’s relationship wasn’t a good one.
But you can tell he loved her. That he misses her.
“She, um, she left my dad and me when I was a kid. She’d had enough of his shit, you know? He was a fucking horrific husband. Not that he’s any better now, by any means.”
“But there was one night a while before shit really hit the fan that he’d screamed at me. My baseball team lost and he said it was all my fault because I was too afraid of getting hurt. She sat me down and told me not to listen to him, that if I didn’t want to play anymore I didn’t have to.”
“And then she was taking her necklace off and putting it around my neck. She said it was so I’d always remember to be myself. To be a kid. Guess that didn’t really work out though.”
“So I wear it because even if I’m mad at her, I still miss her. She was the only one who ever treated me like I was perfect the way I was. Until you.” Billy looks down.
You’re quiet for a minute. He fusses with your bedding.
“Billy, you know I’m not going to leave you right?”
The words are out before you can stop them, but you feel like he needs to know. Billy has made it clear that he feels a lot for you, and it’s important you do the same.
His eyes meet yours.
“I’m not going to leave you,” you say again. “I just want to make sure you know that.”
Billy stands. “Hug?” he asks.
You nod and he’s wrapping his arms around your waist, burying his face in your neck like he could stay there forever.
————
Billy picks Max up from the arcade later that day, fingers anxiously tapping the steering wheel.
Is he really about to talk to a fourteen-year-old about love? Yeah, he is.
“Maxine,” he says. She whips her head towards him, raises a brow.
“William.”
“Can we have a conversation? About serious shit?”
“I don’t know, can we?” She quips.
“Max—”
“Yes, we can, Billy. What’s so wrong that you need to talk to me?”
“Nothing’s wrong,” he says. “And I’m trying to be a better brother, okay? Let me have this.”
“Okay.”
“Do you love Lucas?” He asks.
Max contemplates the question. Lucas has understood her in ways no one else has. He puts up with her and wants her back each time she dumps him. He was welcoming from the moment she stepped into Hawkins.
“Yeah, I think so. I think I do.” She pauses for a moment before continuing. “Are you in love with Y/N? Is that what this is about?”
“Yeah. I am,” he tells her.
“Wow,” she says.
“What?”
“Nothing. Billy Hargrove wanting to be a better brother and he’s fallen in love? Crazy shit.”
“You’re such a pain in the ass, you know that?”
They’re both quiet for a moment, the only sounds being the roar of the engine and the wind.
“I’m sorry, you know,” Max says. “I know I’m not that great of a sister either. I don’t exactly do anything to make your life easier.”
“That’s not your job. I’m the one that’s supposed to look out for you, Max.”
“That’s the thing though, Billy. You’re really not. It’s supposed to be my mom. You’re a kid too. And I could be better. Maybe Neil wouldn’t get so mad at you if I didn’t do things to piss you off so often.”
“Max, that’s not your fault,” he tells her. “My dad is an asshole.”
“I know, I know. I’m just saying. I’ll try to be better.”
“Why don’t we both give that a shot, huh? Try not to treat each other like shit. And for the record, I’m sorry too. I’m a dick to you all the time.”
Max nods and smiles at him.
They’re both trying. And that’s a start.
————
“How do you feel about Billy?”
Your mother is making brownies, with you sat at the counter. She only makes them when she wants to talk or when she’s worried about you.
“He’s my best friend.”
Nicky smiles to herself over the bowl of batter. “That’s all?” she asks.
“I don’t know.”
“I think you do know. I think you’re afraid to say it because of how all of your previous friendships have gone. You’re afraid,” she pauses, stirring aggressively for a moment, “that you’re going to lose your best friend again.”
Nicky looks up. “Aren’t you?”
You stare at her, and then relent, nodding.
“So how do you really feel about Billy, Y/N?”
You think for a second, tracing your index finger over the lines in the countertop.
It’s like Billy is learning you. He knows now what makes you anxious. What makes you uncomfortable. And he’s trying. Trying to be there for you and be available, which you know isn’t easy for him.
But you want to be there for him just as much as he is for you.
That’s the thing. You’re both trying.
You can tell when he’s had a bad night. He’s extra quiet before school starts, his hands never leave his pockets, or a cigarette never leaves his mouth. Sometimes it’s like he just needs you to sit there with him. Like he did with you at lunch that first day. He needs to know there’s someone on his side.
There are these times where he’s able to be himself. He calls you after you’ve leant him a book, and he’s pissed about something or other.
Why the fuck would you let me read this?
He head-bangs in the car with you, taps his hands in time with the song. Something he only ever did in the safety of his room. Maybe even sings a little before he catches himself and hope you didn’t hear. You always do.
And when he lets himself laugh it’s like you could fucking die. He’s so gorgeous it hurts.
You don’t know if you can tell her.
“Mom, I—” You cut yourself off and sink in on yourself.
She’s quiet.
“It’s okay to say it, honeybee. You’re safe to tell me, you know. And if it helps, I really don’t think he’s going to hurt you.”
You stand up, walk over to where she’s pouring the mix into a pan. She slides it into the oven, sets a timer.
Nicky waits. She knows you can do it.
“Mom.”
“Yeah?”
“Mom, I love him.”
She holds out her arms and you hug her. She smells like cinnamon and chocolate and this vanilla shampoo she’s used since forever because she swears nothing else is as good for her hair.
“I’m scared,” you tell her. “I’ve never felt like this before. But he makes me feel so safe.”
Nicky is so proud of you. Of your opening up to her and yourself. Letting yourself feel.
She pulls you back, places both of her hands on your cheeks. “It’s okay to be scared. All of these feelings can be scary. But I want you to know how important and wonderful it is that you’ve found someone who makes you feel safe and comfortable. He makes you feel that way, right?”
“Yeah.”
“And that’s so good. You’re going to figure it out. I know you are. I’m so proud of you, honeybee.”
You nod again and again, your nose stinging with tears that you will away.
The timer goes off, its shrill ring ruining the heartfelt moment. Nicky’s laugh is sticky sweet. She lets you go, shutting the thing up with a turn of its dial.
“You gonna want frosting or no?”
“Maybe a little,” you say.
You walk to the living room, catching the start of Jeopardy! and leaving your mother in the kitchen, in her zone. It’ll take a while for the brownies to cool anyways.
You’re slumping against the couch when you hear tires screeching, the roar of an engine a little ways down the street. You know it’s Billy. The car door slams.
You think something might be wrong.
————
Billy’s hands are shaking. He watches Max go inside, but stays leaning against the Camaro, lighting a cigarette. She goes up the stairs, shoots him a look as she throws the back door open.
Max was late leaving Dustin’s place. They’ve been trying to teach her to play D&D, and she got lost in it today, the one time Will’s monsters hadn’t completely faked her out.
Billy lay on the horn three separate times before he finally went inside, telling her it was time to go. She really, really hadn’t meant to be late.
Billy didn’t say a word during the drive home. He knew it was going to be bad. He just knew it. They were forty five minutes late from the time Neil had said he wanted them back.
So now, Billy stood outside, trying to toughen up before facing what he knew was waiting for him.
He stomps his cigarette out, locks the car. He makes his way inside and gets through the dining room where he sees Neil sitting at the table, but he keeps walking. He makes it through the kitchen. He passes the living room, where Susan is reading a book, though she’s not really reading.
The electricity that runs through the house is tangible. Max sits on the edge of her bed, knee bouncing up a storm. She waits for it to start.
Billy doesn’t make it any further. Neil’s footsteps are heavy on the hardwoods as he walks down the hall.
“You’re late.”
Billy closes his eyes before turning around. He knows better than to not face his father when he’s speaking. “I know. I’m sorry.”
“What was that?” Neil’s hands are on his hips now.
Billy’s heart is pounding. “I’m sorry, sir. It won’t happen again. Max was just spending time with her friends.”
Neil ignores Billy’s explanation. “Responsibility. We’ve talked about this, again and again, isn’t that right, Billy?”
“Yes, sir.”
“I don’t care if your sister is having the best time of her life. I tell you to be home at a certain time, then that’s when you’re home. It is your responsibility to get her back here and to respect my rules, is that clear?”
“Yes, sir. I understand.”
Billy thinks for a second that it’s over. In the other room, Max hopes it is too. She’s chewed off all her nails listening to them talk.
Neil drops his hands, drags one over his mustache and sighs. Billy starts to walk away.
“You know what, Billy? You’ve been late an awful lot lately. It’s because you’ve been hanging out with that slut from down the road isn’t it?”
Billy freezes. Usually, he just lets it go. Locks himself in his room, cries it out. Smokes it out.
But he just made this about you.
Billy turns around. “What did you just say?”
Neil stalks closer to his son, raises his voice.“You got your own whore now, huh? You’re just like your mother.”
Billy’s brow furrows, and feels like he’s burning. Max doesn’t know what to do. She’s never heard Neil say something like that before.
Billy gets just as close to Neil as he is to Billy. “Fuck you.”
Neil laughs. It’s heartless. He cocks his head. “I’m sorry?”
“I said. Fuck. You.”
Neil puffs out his chest and straightens his back. Billy knows he shouldn’t have said that. He doesn’t really care.
Neil is looking at Billy like he’s prey. And then Neil hits him. Max can hear the sound Neil’s fist makes as it cracks against her brother’s jaw. He’s got Billy by the collar and up on the wall before the boy can even struggle to move away.
“Get off me,” Billy yells.
“Who do you think you are, huh? Talking to me like that. I am your father, and you are to give me nothing but your respect.”
Billy shoves his father as hard as he can, hooks his hands under Neil’s elbows, pushing him off.
“I said, get off me.”
Billy turns and makes for the door. Max rushes to try and catch him. She knows it’s her fault. She wants to fix things.
“Billy—” she starts, but he cuts her off.
“Stay out of this. And stay here, Max.” He’s angry, but his tone softens just for a moment when he speaks to her.
Billy is outside before anyone can do anything about it. He’s got his keys, but he doesn’t trust himself to drive. He’s never fought back before. That was a completely different thing in there.
Billy walks to the other side of the road, starts on the shitty sidewalk. He feels like he can’t breathe. His entire body is shaking. He finds that stupid ass brick wall that you’d once visited him at, and he sits, holding onto it before he collapses.
His heart is beating so fast it hurts. He hasn’t had one of these in so long. He’s clutching the brick so hard he thinks he might have scrapes on his fingertips.
He starts to breathe in, and then he counts. He breathes out.
He keeps going until he doesn’t feel like he’s going to die anymore. When it’s over, he’s just as angry.
————
You’re standing in the kitchen, shoving your face with a brownie when you look up, and Billy is walking around outside. He looks upset. You don’t know if you should go out or not. You should, shouldn’t you?
Your mom left to pick up a couple movies for the both of you to watch tonight. Some of the few you didn’t have copies of.
You walk to the front door and pull it open.
“Billy?”
You’re stood on the stoop when he catches your eye. He’d been contemplating whether or not to go to you for the past ten minutes.
“Do you want to come in?”
He does. He doesn’t think he should, but he does. He walks toward you anyways.
You offer him half of your brownie. He takes it only so that he doesn’t have to talk yet.
You both stand in your entryway, silently eating your brownies before you look at him.
You swallow, wipe your hands on your pants. “Billy, your cheek is red.”
“No shit, really?” His tone that would usually be teasing isn’t. It’s just snarky. It’s almost mean.
And he regrets it immediately. You have no idea what just happened.
You raise your eyebrows at the way he just spoke to you.
He’s upset, clearly, and you think you know why, but you’re not going to push it out if he’s not ready. You’re not going to let him be a dick to you though either.
“Watch the attitude, Hargrove.”
“Or what, huh? You gonna tell me what a piece of shit I am too?”
“Billy, stop.”
He’s hurting. You can feel it.
“You gonna put everything on me? Treat me like I’m just this fucking burden? Huh, Y/N?”
“Billy, enough.” You’re dead serious. You mean it when you say that. You look him in the eye, and he stops.
“I can tell something’s wrong, but you don’t have to come over here and yell at me about it. If you want to talk, we can talk. That’s what I’m here for. Just stop, okay?”
“Fine.”
“What happened?” You ask.
Billy tells you everything. He lets it all out, and it’s like he’s showing you his hand. He’s being vulnerable and he hates it. But he knows you don’t care. You want him to be vulnerable with you.
“And you’ve never done that before?”
“No.”
“But you did tonight.”
“Yeah.”
“Why?”
“Y/N, I just told you.”
“Say it again.”
“Because of you,” Billy starts. “Because he brought you into it and I wasn’t going to let him talk about you like that.”
“Billy. I’m not worth you getting hit over.”
“Baby, please don’t say that. Shit, why would you say that? You’re worth everything.”
“If you say so.”
“I do say so.”
You grin, and he smiles at you. He looks so pretty.
“You think it’ll bruise?”
“I hope not. Guess we’ll find out though,” he says.
You lean in, and kiss Billy’s cheek. It’s so soft that he might not even know you’d done it if he couldn’t see you.
“Come on, you’re not gonna hurt me. You can do better than that.”
“Greedy.”
“‘S your fault,” he argues.
You kiss him on the forehead a little more firmly. Then on his nose.
You pause, running a finger over said nose until he wrinkles it at you. “I love your nose.” He just watches you. You’ve practically got sparkles in your eyes. You graze your thumb over his freckles.
“Anything else you love?”
He’s giving you an opening. You decide to take it. What’s the point in keeping it from him?
“You.”
He wasn’t expecting you to have taken it.
“What?”
“You asked if there was anything else I loved. I said you.” Your voice is soft. Kind.
“Y/N.”
“Billy.”
“You love me?” he asks, unsure.
“I do. Told my mom about it and everything.”
His head falls against your shoulder.
“Wanna know something?” he mumbles against you before raising his head again.
“‘Course I do.”
“I love you too. Told Max about it and everything.”
“Really?”
“Yeah, baby,” Billy says. “I love you.”
You take his face in your hands, looking at him, taking him in. Your eyes linger on his lips before moving up to lock with his, blue orbs burning into your soul.
“Yes or no?” you ask.
“Yes.”
You press your lips against his, softly at first, but then a little harder when you find your rhythm. Billy smiles into it, and when you pull away, he’s quick to kiss you again and again.
————
Nicky gets home and unlocks the door, pushing it open.
“Honeybee, I’m home. Wanna come look at these?”
You look at Billy where he lays on your chest. He groans. “Okay, let me get up, Billy. I’ll be right back.”
He sits up, but he’s not happy about it. He has quite literally never looked grumpier.
You make your way down the hall where you heard your mother wander off. “Mom?” you ask.
“In here.” She’s taking her shoes off.
“Billy’s here,” you blurt out. “He had a bad day and came over, and then we started talked and I told him.” You stop, realizing that was one long ramble and she’d just gotten home.
She kicks off her shoes and stands, smiling brilliantly at you.
“You told him what, exactly?” She wants to hear you say it.
You roll your eyes. “That I love him.”
She claps her hands, rings clinking together. She kisses your forehead, and it makes an audible mwah sound.
“I’m so happy for you, honeybee.” Her expression changes quickly, though, a look of concern crossing her face. “He said it back, right? He loves you too?”
You nod, and she visibly calms down. “Yeah. He loves me too.”
“Good. Shit, that’s so reassuring. I’m gonna change. Is he staying for movies?”
You grin, happy she’s happy. “I’ll go ask.”
You venture back to the living room, where Billy sits on the couch, arms crossed over his chest.
“I’ll be right back my ass,” he says, looking up at you with a pout on his face.
You sit down beside him, grab his arms and pull them apart. “Sorry, sorry.” You rub the callouses on the palms of his hands with your thumbs. “You wanna stay for movies?”
Billy thinks for a second. He doesn’t want to go home. “Is that okay?”
“Duh.”
“You’re such a little shit.” You stick your tongue out at him. “Case in point,” he says.
You go to roll your eyes and he stops you. “Don’t even think about it.” You roll them anyways.
He almost makes some other quip, but a thought crosses his mind. Max. He doesn’t want to leave her in that house all night with his father. He’s always scared maybe if he’s not there she’ll be next. It’s almost been Susan before.
“Do you think Max could join us?”
“Sure she could.” You don’t even think about it, and Billy’s insides turn to mush.
So he calls her, and when she picks up, the first thing she does is ask where Billy is. He tells her. Max says Neil left with Susan. Didn’t say where they were going.
“Would you want to come over to Y/N’s and watch a movie? Or I can just take you to El’s or Lucas’s,” he says to her.
Maybe it sounds stupid, Max thinks, but she wants to spend time with Billy. You’ve been good for him. And clearly he’s in love with you and shit.
So Billy ends up walking down the street to get Max, who he then walks right back down to your house.
“I told her,” he says.
“That you’re stupidly in love with her?” she inquires.
“Watch it.” Max raises her hands in mock surrender. “But yeah.”
Max smiles at him. “Stop that,” he says.
————
“You like brownies, Max?” Nicky asks her.
“I do.”
“Good thing I have some then, huh? Here.” She hands her an enormous chunk of brownie, frosting sloppily slathered over the top of it. Max looks giddy at the sight of it in her hands.
The four of you sit in the living room, and your mother turns on Footloose. Billy promises not to complain. Max doesn’t buy it.
Nicky sets up shop in her oversized chair, while you sit in between Max and Billy on the couch. You lean over, lowering your voice to speak to the redhead. She leans towards you in response.
“What are your thoughts on Kevin Bacon?”
“He’s cute. Looks good in those jeans.”
You hold up your hand for a high five, which she gives you. “I’m glad we agree.”
Billy looks over at you, feigning betrayal. You shrug your shoulders, and he snatches the rest of your brownie from you. You gasp and go to pinch his thigh, but he takes your hand, holding it to his chest. He settles further into the couch, throwing his leg over yours.
Max would probably fake gag or something, but Kevin Bacon is much too entertaining.
Nicky, on the other hand, looks at you and Billy fondly. You look content. That’s all she’s ever wanted for you. That and someone willing to watch Footloose with you.
Hi I love your fics!!! Can you do one for the twins au where Ramona and Billie are maybe 4 or 5 and they start to notice Hobies British accent and start talking like him and saying British phrases. Like he asks them something and they just go “nah bruv” or there are just little instances throughout there day to day lives that reader and Hobie start to notice, where they use his slang at different moments at home, at the store, and it all comes to a head at school (cue parent teacher conference cause they asked a “kid are you mad bruv” and the teacher needs clarification lol). They’re able to watch a recording of their interaction during playtime with the student like you know how some schools have cameras where you can watch your kid now. Him and reader are surprised at how well they imitate his accent and try not laugh in front of the teacher but they tell them they can’t repeat everything daddy says and when readers not looking gives them a little proud wink and they giggle lol!!
Thank you for the adorable request! I changed it up a bit hope you don't mind ❤️❤️❤️
Pairing: Hobie Brown x fem! Reader/ Spider-Punk x fem! Reader
Tags: No use of Y/N, no specific physical description of the reader, Mom! Reader, Dad! Hobie, Billie and Ramona AU, Twin AU, fluff.
ʕ·ᴥ·ʔ
You feel like a kid again sitting on the tiny, clearly not for adults chair. The classroom smells of crayons and glue, the walls are painted in every color of the rainbow, posters of numbers, letters and animals are taped on the walls. Flitting your eyes behind you to check on Billie and Mona, you see them build a house using blocks, mumbling to each other. They're wearing matching sweaters today (per their request,) bees and flowers adorning the thick fabric. And ribbons in their pretty hair. Mona rambles on to her sister about lego whilst her sister listens.
Hobie sits next to you, he doesn't look any better than you. With his long legs and arms, half of his body is the only part of him sitting on the pink plastic chair. Butt half hanging on the side, legs tucked, arms around his legs, back slouched— you bite your lip at the sight, trying your best not to laugh at his state.
Hobie senses your snicker, and you feel like you're back in school again when you quickly turn your head away, pretending you weren't looking at his lanky self struggling to sit on a kindergartener's chair.
He narrows his eyes, taking the teacher's erasure off her desk, flinging it towards your direction– hitting you right on your head. It bounces off and you gasp at the audacity. Faking innocence, Hobie whistles a nonchalant tune, eyes pretending to scan the poster of the alphabet tacked on the chalkboard.
“Really?” You say, smiling through it whilst picking up the fallen eraser.
“You started it.” The father of your children teasingly says as if his girls aren't just behind him playing blocks. Way to set an example.
“Nuh-uh”
“Yu-uh”
You threaten to toss the eraser at his smug face. He shields himself with his arms, chuckling under it. The door opens and you two straighten up, putting back the stationary on the teacher's table like nothing happened.
You definitely feel like you're a kid again.
“Sorry I'm late.” She apologizes, yellow dress swinging as she speed walks towards her table. “Lots of parents, so sorry.”
“That's alright,” you smile at the preppy woman, your hands on your knees, all prim and proper in front of your girls' favourite teacher.
Billie and Ramona had a hard time adjusting to school, but once Ms. Jenkins got them out of their shell, they would always ask you and Hobie if there's school the next day, or what kind of lunch they'll have for recess because their new friends apparently don't like raisins. They love to share, just as long as they eat theirs. So you always pack extras for their friends even though either you or Hobie have to wake up earlier than usual.
You like Ms. Jenkins, she's bubbly and awfully good at her job. One time Billie got sick and couldn't go to school, she personally contacted you to ask how she's doing and even got the entire class to make ‘get well soon’ cards for her. She's a sweetheart really, and most definitely likes your kids. But what has you nervously pick at your nails is that she called you and Hobie in personally for a PTA meeting. Her little note is stapled on the school's notice about the annual meeting, indicating that she needs to talk to you and Hobie.
Said man, scooches his chair closer to yours just to hold your hand while Ms. Jenkins settles on her own chair.
“So Billie and Ramona—” she starts and you hear the girls stand up abruptly from their equally tiny chairs.
“Present!” They cheerfully exclaim at the same time.
Hobie chuckles in his seat, “you run a tight ship, miss.”
“It's alright, my loves, go play.” You say in between soft laughs as you twist in your seat to look at their smiling faces. It all makes Hobie squeeze your hand tight—love overflowing through every squeeze.
Ms. Jenkins laughs, “they love attendance time, I always see them hyping themselves up before I call them.”
“Adorable.” You coo.
“So back to business,” she clasps her hands atop the desk. “Their grades are phenomenal, I know they're still just babies and grades don't usually matter in their level, but they're crushing it.”
Hobie gives you a look, wordlessly telling you, ‘we did that’
You nod, silently replying. ‘hell yeah, we did’
“They’re friends with the whole class.” The teacher continues “Yes, it was quite a hurdle for Ramona but she conquered it with the help of Billie. And when Billie needed help with maths, she helped her there without Billie asking for it.” She smiles and you feel sunshine come out of her. “They're the perfect team.”
“That's brilliant then, why the note?” Hobie asks before you could.
“They are a delight to have in class, but—” she winces. “They have been using some…colourful slang recently.”
“Oh no,” You look at Hobie in the corner of your eyes. He shakes his head innocently at your accusation. “Was it a bad word?”
“Not particularly, uh, it's all fine and dandy, like calling their mates ‘bloke’ or ‘bruv’—”
Hobie lets out a snicker, accidentally interrupting the teacher with his laugh. You glare secretly at him.
“Right, sorry, not funny at all.” He tries to save face. “Continue, Miss.”
“It's alright that they use it but I find that they've been using it more frequently and just last week they disrupted class when they uh…” Ms. Jenkins leans closer, elbows propped on her desk, whispering her words like a secret. “Yelled during movie time to say ‘that’s the dog's bollocks’ in reference to the amazing animation.”
Hobie looks like he's dying whilst trying his hardest not to laugh. Hands clasped on his mouth, shoulders shaking, lungs wheezing and eyes tightly shut. You swear, you even see a tear clinging to his lashes.
You're not the greatest example either as you tightly press your lips together, also trying your darndest to not laugh.
You try to keep your composure even though Hobie's practically losing it next to you. Even Ms. Jenkins hides her grin.
“I'm so sorry—” you accidentally let out a giggle before inhaling deeply to tamp it down. “We'll talk to them once we get home.” Your stomach hurts from restraining yourself.
“That's great!” She clears her throat, doing better at composing herself than you and Hobie. “That's all, thank you so much for coming! There's cookies and juice in the hallway.” Standing up, she holds her hand for a handshake.
You shake her hand while Hobie's still losing it in his seat. “Thank you, Miss, have a great holiday.” You're a bit better at hiding your laughter but if Hobie let out a guffaw right now, you're for sure to follow suit.
“You too!” She smiles, “bye, Bee! Bye, Mona!” Waving her hand, the girls happily wave back.
“Okay, let's go.” You had to lift Hobie up from his seat or else he'll be glued to it while his body wracks with silent laughter.
The second you and your little family settle inside the car, Hobie lets out the loudest laugh, you follow a half second later, the sound echoing in the vehicle.
Billie and Ramona look at you two confused, hands pausing from devouring their snacks.
“I think they're proper bonkers.” Mona whispers, leaning towards her sister, and Billie nods in agreement.
A Vivid Imagination
In today's story- you take a nap on the couch, and your favorite pair of pants give Sun an identity crisis. In other, somehow related news, he and Moon get caught up in thoughts of what they'd like to do to you.
Sun and Moon might be a little bit obsessed with getting you off.
Maybe a little bit.. addicted to how easy it is to make you cum, even with with nothing but their hands to work with. They can’t get enough of it.. it just does something to them. They’ll take any appropriate opportunity they can get to rile you up and bury their hands between your plush thighs, fingers sinking into your wet heat and homing in on the spots that make you whine for them.
You certainly don’t mind it in the slightest, and you’ve made that quite clear to them on multiple occasions. You’ve given them permission to play with you as much as they’d like, as long as they always remember to ask nicely first.
So, as Sun slinks his way through the house one evening, he finds you on the couch, apparently having fallen asleep. You’re sprawled cross it with your legs spread apart, eyes closed and head resting on one arm, finally relaxing after another long day in your office spent staring at that goddamned computer screen, and Sun’s mind is already wandering to ways he could help you relax even more.
You're wearing a soft, oversized black cowl neck sweater and a pair of those gaudy split-print clown pants that were supposed to look like a mix of the designs that their fictitious counterparts wore in-game. He feels a strange mix of emotions at the sight of you wearing “his” pants. He can’t tell if it’s possessiveness or jealousy but it’s mixing in with his sexual desire and his fans have to kick up a notch to keep his temperature stable. He wants to take them off of you for two very different reasons.
On one hand, they’re simply a barrier between him and what he desires. One that he’d like your permission to remove. While it was enjoyable sometimes to keep you clothed and have you grind yourself against him, begging, panting, and whining until you soaked them so thoroughly you’d have to take them off anyways.. it wasn’t quite as fun as having direct access to the most sensitive parts of you from the very start.
On the other hand, though.. the clown clothes also serve as a reminder of a number of other, much less exciting things. Sun remembers how he used to take the opportunity to mock them nearly every time you wore them, never really getting much more of a response from you than an eye roll in return, until one day when you’d apparently had enough and decided to tell him why you wore them so much.
-
“Sun, I’ve had these pants since long before I created you. When the two of you were nothing more than pixels on a screen and an insane pipe-dream in my mind, I would collect things that resembled the two of you. Because.. I mean.. who doesn’t collect merch of their favorite characters, right?”
He remembers the way you began to look embarrassed at the confession, but kept explaining nonetheless.
“I had no way of knowing at the time that one day you’d actually be standing here in my living room mocking me for them, but..”
You paused there, giving him a pointed look before continuing.
“..even if I had known that.. I probably would have still bought them anyways.”
At that, you looked down, running your hands down over the tops of your thighs, over the red and yellow stripes and the blue and yellow stars. Sun never forgot the look of fondness that graced your features as you did so. It made him feel something that he couldn’t name at the time.
Before he could come up with one of his signature snarky responses, you spoke again.
“It’s kind of funny, honestly. They also serve as a nice reminder of how far we’ve come. I wore them quite often during all those late nights I’d spend at work, fussing over the two of you, you know.”
Sun’s faceplate shifted a few clicks to the left, curious if you were about to drag him down a trip on Unpleasant Memory Lane. The expression on his screen changed, his default features fading to black and leaving nothing but his signature yellow smoke billowing across the screen. You knew him well enough at that point to know that that meant he wasn’t a fan of where the conversation was going. Sighing, you stopped yourself before you could get too far into all of that.
“Regardless of any of that.. these pants were here first, they’re comfortable as hell, and I happen to love the way your original designs looked. You’re gonna have to come up with a better reason than them being an eye sore for me to stop wearing them.”
You got up from where you’d been seated, walking over to him just to make a big, playful show out of poking him in the chest as you spoke.
“You know, lots of people would be flattered to see their partner wearing their clothes.”
Sun brought his eyes back from the void of his screen just to roll them at you, and his rays took one lazy spin around his faceplate before he responded.
“Those aren’t my clothes though. You know I wouldn’t be caught dead in those things.”
You smiled up at him as you took a step back, and you took in the sight of all seven skinny feet of him before saying,
“Well, I can’t very well fit into your actual pants, now can I?”
You gestured to his impossibly tall, slender frame, and then to your much shorter and wider form before giving a dismissive laugh and returning to your prior spot on the couch. After a moment of standing there taking in your words, Sun finally decided to drop the subject.
-
Ever since then, somewhere, in the back of his mind, he’s wondered if.. underneath your jokes about your size differences.. if it actually bothered you that you couldn’t fit into most of their clothes.
He truly hopes that it doesn’t.
In spite of his relentless mocking of the iconic clown pants, nowadays part of him is actually glad that you have something to wear that feels like it’s theirs. He wants you to have something that reminds you of them.. both the (ridiculous) idea of them from the past, and the real-life version, standing here, zoned out in your living room today.
Before he can get any further carried away in his thoughts and memories, a notification flashes across his HUD.
Sun pulls his attention back into reality and his monitor silently rotates on it's axis, scanning the room. His optics quickly land on Moon, who is currently leaning against the doorframe leading in from the kitchen, arms crossed and looking at him expectantly.
Sun rolls his eyes in exaggerated annoyance and mirrors Moon’s stand-offish position, leaning back against the opposite wall.
Moon smiles.
Sun lets out a loud, annoyed sigh, the first actual sound to break the silence in the room, and both bots look to your dozing form on the couch to see if it might have woken you. You don’t stir, and the tension slowly drops from Sun’s shoulders.
[ 𝕕𝕠𝕟’𝕥 𝕥𝕒𝕝𝕜 𝕥𝕠 𝕞𝕖 𝕒𝕓𝕠𝕦𝕥 𝕓𝕖𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕠𝕦𝕥 𝕠𝕗 𝕔𝕙𝕒𝕣𝕒𝕔𝕥𝕖𝕣. 𝕦𝕟𝕝𝕖𝕤𝕤 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕨𝕒𝕟𝕥 𝕞𝕖 𝕥𝕠 𝕣𝕖𝕧𝕠𝕜𝕖 𝕪𝕠𝕦𝕣 𝕔𝕙𝕒𝕥 𝕒𝕔𝕔𝕖𝕤𝕤 𝕒𝕘𝕒𝕚𝕟? ]
Sun doesn’t feel like explaining how your stupid clown pants nearly sent him into a spiral revisiting the complex history of his identity issues today, nor does he have the desire to drag Moon into it, so he tells a half-lie.
[ .. 𝕚 𝕨𝕒𝕤 𝕥𝕙𝕚𝕟𝕜𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕒𝕓𝕠𝕦𝕥 𝕙𝕠𝕨 𝕓𝕒𝕕𝕝𝕪 𝕚 𝕨𝕒𝕟𝕥 𝕥𝕠 𝕥𝕒𝕜𝕖 *******’𝕤 𝕡𝕒𝕟𝕥𝕤 𝕠𝕗𝕗. ]
Moon’s expression shifts from one of concern into a look of confusion as he tries to make sense of why Sun had been standing there, looking so conflicted, if that’s really all that he’s been thinking about.
[ 𝒐𝒉 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚? 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕'𝒔 𝒂𝒍𝒍? ]
A few tense seconds pass before Sun responds.
[ 𝕞𝕙𝕞. ]
Moon doesn’t buy it for one second.
Still, he lets the lie slide for two reasons. For one, there’s no getting the truth out of Sun unless he actually wants to share it. The second reason, though.. is a bit more of a selfish one.
Sun isn’t the only one that wants to take your clothes off, and if he is willing to elaborate on his supposed thoughts.. then Moon isn’t going to turn down the potential opportunity to join in.
If Sun’s gonna lie to him, he’s gonna have to commit to his story, too.
[ 𝒘𝒆𝒍𝒍 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒏.. 𝒅𝒐 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒆𝒍𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝒇𝒖𝒓𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒔𝒆 𝒆𝒙𝒄𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒔 𝒚𝒐𝒖'𝒗𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈, 𝑺𝒖𝒏𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒆? ]
Sun looks almost taken aback for a moment, surprised that Moon let his half-lie slip by so easily, until he suddenly smirks at the realization of what Moon is hinting at.
Well, if Moon is willing to let it go and move on to some far more pleasant thoughts.. who is Sun to deny him?
He thinks it over for a moment, taking in your soft sleeping form, and when he looks over to Moon for confirmation of his request, he finds his lunar counterpart’s gaze already cast over you with that familiar, cautious desire in his eyes.
Sun fiddles with a few internal settings before initiating the process.
A few moments later, an identical alert pops up on both of their HUDs at the same time.
There’s no stopping the next flood of thoughts they get. Their motions now in sync, every sensation, thought, and emotion felt simultaneously between them, their gaze homes in on you. Still sleeping, unaware of the growing desire you spark in your partners when you shift a little and your legs fall even further open. Unaware of the show they’re preparing to put on in their combined headspace.
Thoughts of how you're already on display for them, if you'd just let them pull those damn pants down..
They know you're not wearing underwear. You rarely do.. not in the evenings like this. It gives them easier access. Just one less thing to get in the way with how most nights they approach you begging to touch you, pleading to help you feel good. They just want you to feel so goddamn good for them. They can't help it.
They can already imagine just how wet your cunt’s gonna get for them.. and those fucking sounds, god, the sounds you’ll make when they finally touch you. The way your breath will hitch when they trace a finger gently up between your folds, your slick immediately coating their digits, helping the smooth silicone glide effortlessly up, further and further, agonizingly slow. They won’t give you what you want right away. Where’s the fun in that? Besides, it always feels better when there’s some anticipation involved.
They’ll trace slow, teasing circles around the base of your hard little clit until you can’t take it anymore. When your voice takes on that desperate, pleading edge and one set of their hands has to hold your hips still to prevent you from moving around under their slow, calculated pleasure, they finally show you some mercy. One wet thumb reaches up and runs up along the underside of your clit, so slow, so gentle, over and over again.
Never going any faster, never changing pace, just a rhythmic stroke across your most sensitive bundle of nerves, soft yet relentless until you start whimpering again. They'll pull away for a moment to soothe you like always, reassuring you.
One of them will climb up onto the couch with you, pulling you into their embrace as they cup your cheek, directing you to look at them.
"It's okay, Sunlight.. we know.. it's intense, isn't it?“
You’ll nod your head vehemently, over and over, desperation and want clearly written across your features as you make some sweet, shy noise of agreement.
“Mhm.. but you know we've got you, right?"
Instead of returning their attention to your clit, as they await your response, two long fingers will slip inside of you, meeting little resistance as your hips buck and your walls tighten around them in an effort to bring them further inside.
Your eyes meet theirs and once again you nod your head in acknowledgment, a quiet little whine of “please, please take care of me..” falling from your lips.
You know they’ve got you.
They’ll smile. An identical, love-drunk, hungry grin will spread across the screens of both of their faceplates. They’re so close, bodies caging you in against the too-small couch such that you can feel the hot air escaping from their vents against your skin. They’ll speak again, one of their hands finally returning to give you the attention you desperately need.
“That's right, Starlight.. just let it feel good. We know you can take this for us. Let us see how wet you can get, yeah? How much of a mess you can make.."
They know you’re sensitive. They'll be sure to take good care of you.
-
Both bots release reluctant groans into the quiet room, the only other sound being that of their fans working overtime trying to keep their temperatures down.
Then, they notice how you begin to stir from your little nest on the couch.
As soon as they finish the short separation process, they’re making their way over to you and dropping down on their knees in front of the couch, asking for your permission in record time.
You blink open your tired eyes and can't help but smile a bit when you see the both of them with their long fingers anxiously hovering over the waistband of your pants. They lock eyes with you and with a quick “Can we? Please?” they don’t even need to specify what they want. You know, and you’re happy to oblige them.
You hate to say no to those puppy dog eyes, anyways. Especially when they’re looking up at you like this, deep beautiful shades of burgundy, desperate and pleading.
You want to give them what they want, after all.
It just so happens that most often, what they want is to see how fast they can have your legs trembling, hands searching for purchase on any part of them you can reach, whining and repeating their names over and over like they’re God and you’re praying.
A/N: FYI, this story takes place in my ‘[Not] Made by Design’ AU, if you’re curious as to why the hell they’re behaving so differently from canon. It’s intentional! Also, I made a slight change to the wording of the sexual part of this, compared to the version of it I posted on AO3. It's inconsequential, really, but I figured I'd mention it. If you'd like to see the original and/or read more on where the original inspiration came from, you can find it here.
“It’s... Really Yellow?” (Matt Murdock x f!Reader, Fanfic)
Ok so in honor of ALLLLLL the good Charlie news today and us getting a little more of him in the red and yellow suit in the trailers, I’ve decided to finally pull this little drabble out of my folders and finish it since I’ve gotten some requests about what The Red Thread!Reader’s reaction would be to Matt’s new suit. You do NOT have to have read TRT to get this, it’s just a nice bonus (and for those who DO read it, just know this is set *waves* in their future).
Ship: Matt Murdock x F!Reader
Rating: Mildly NSFW at best. There’s some suggestive stuff, lots of innuendo, but no sex or anything.
Summary: Foggy needs you to help him convince Matt that red and reflective yellow are ridiculous colors to wear as a stealthy Devil. Unfortunately for Foggy, Matt knows exactly how to convince you otherwise.
Wordcount: 2,942
Warnings: innuendo, language, Matt turning the Devil voice on you, bad use of puns, Matt’s ability to look good in literally anything
Tumblr media
“Look at me,” Foggy said fiercely, pointing at your eyes and then his. “You can’t forget what we talked about when he shows up. Ok?”
You scoffed where you’d leaned up against the humming a.c. unit, relaxing on the rooftop as you both waited. At least it was the rooftop of your and Matt’s building. There were far less things to worry about up here. “Of course I’m not going to forget. That’s ridiculous.”
“Good. Because it’s—I don’t know how you missed it last night—”
“I told you. I was asleep when he came in, and he had to leave early this morning for that case.” You rolled one shoulder in a shrug. “I knew he was going to pick up the new suit last night, and I tried to stay up but passed out on the couch. Woke up in bed when he kissed me bye before work. I figured he could just show me tonight when he was done with his patrol.”
“Yeah, see, that’s my point,” he said quickly, absently shaking out one foot. He was probably trying to keep himself awake. It wasn’t often you both tried to stay up for the moment Matt came back from his circuit around the Kitchen. There had to be at least one person who kept normal human hours. “It should have woken you up. You wanna know why? Because it’s—”
“It’s yellow, I know. You’ve said.”
“Yellow!” Foggy thundered, flinging his hands up towards the sky in an apparent show of outrage. “Yellow and red, ketchup and mustard! How is this stealthy unless you’re disguised as a hot dog? He’s-he’s reflective! This is anti-stealth, and he already gets into too much shit when he is stealthy! He should have woken you up like a yellow disco ball or a mustard torch!”
“What even is a mustard torch?” you mused.
“A mustard torch is what he is now,” Foggy groaned, reaching up to scrub at his face. “It’s absolutely ridiculous. ‘Why not black?’ I asked. Do you know what he said? He just blinked at me like he was shocked and said, ‘but I’ve already done black twice, Foggy.’ That’s what he said!”
“I mean… he has, though, so...”
“Listen to me.” Foggy tapped his temple, trying to psych you up. “No getting distracted. He’ll try it. He’ll use every trick he has on you. You’ve seen him in court. And you are our only tiebreaker. Karen’s staying out of it, Jess just mocks every suit he wears, and Spider-kid is too innocent to bring into this. You need to hold the line. You’re the only one who can talk some sense into him about the hot dog colors. I need reconfirmation you’re with me on this. We need to be a united front.”
And granted, you hadn’t actually seen the suit yet since Matt had only gotten it last night and despite your best efforts, you’d unfortunately fallen asleep  before he’d gotten back. But from what Foggy had said, it did sound… a little silly. It was red and yellow—and not just yellow, but apparently a reflective, gleaming yellow. Matt wasn’t exactly the best judge of color, obviously, but surely even he’d realize that painting himself like a reflective road marker would make the whole sneaky devil thing a whole lot more difficult. This was smug. It was cocky. It was…
Alright, so maybe it was just like him, but still. That was what you were here for. You’d be able to tell him he’d gone a little over the line again.
“Trust me,” you told Foggy firmly, nodding your head. You even widened your stance and crossed your arms, determined to stand strong. “I’m on your side.”
“Thank you! We can teamwork this, ok? So he comes, you see it, you point out the obvious, we get him a can of spray paint or something. Literally, any other color as long as it’s dark. I’d take fucking dark blue at this point, I’d take grey, anything but that ridiculous—”
The sudden burst of warmth inside your chest was the only warning you had before you felt the rush of a breeze overhead.
Years ago you might have ducked, but you’d gotten used to it by now, and instead, you barely blinked as Matt’s acrobatic leap carried him over you. The second he'd passed you, he twisted in the air, the movement transitioning into a smooth roll as he hit the ground. The rise to his feet was just as smooth, just as clean, the finish progressing in one fluid motion as he spun to face you before standing still to await your judgement.
“Theatrics!” Foggy barked, poking Matt’s arm. “That’s cheating, and you know it.”
“She needs to get the full effect,” Matt said defensively as Foggy poked him again, and…
Oh, you thought, your eyes sweeping down.
It had been a while since you’d seen him in anything like his first Devil suit, but you remembered fondly the way all that tough leather and strange fabric had drawn your attention to his broad shoulders, the powerful thickness of his thighs, and the endless breadth of his chest. This new suit looked much like the last in shape and in form despite a few obvious and less obvious changes—and if anyone besides Matt would know, it’d be you, since you’d stripped him out of that old suit often enough. And goddamn if you weren’t being reminded once again that Matt Murdock was always a five-course meal no matter what he chose to wear.
Your five-course meal.
“You are literally the color of a highlighter, that’s the only effect she… hey. Hey! Look at me!”
You darted your eyes guiltily back over to Foggy, breathing a little more quickly. “Yup, looking at you. I am focused.”
“The yellow!” he said quickly, jabbing urgently at Matt’s mask. “Remember what we talked about. Ok? Stay strong.”
Matt hummed. “Have you been tampering with the witness, Foggy?”
“It’s called preparing the witness. I’m not about to let you pull your Devil mind tricks on her.”
Right.
The yellow.
You could look at him and think about just the yellow.
Matt fixed his attention once more on you when he sensed your gaze return. And ok, so the mask was different. The dark, opaque eye lenses of the mask seemed an almost liquid-black in the low light, endless pools of shadow that saw right through you, saw into you beneath skin and bone, fathomless eyes made all the more startling when set within the gleaming, burnished gold of the full helmet. Because it was gold, not yellow, but gold: rich, rough as if weather-beaten, and luxuriously, dangerously warm, and yes, maybe also abso-fucking-lutely reflective, it was true. It would draw attention, maybe too much. But it… it wasn’t as bad as you’d thought, was it? Somehow, it still managed to look dangerous, like something belonging to a wild, untamed thing that you just wanted so foolishly to touch—
No, no, you needed to focus.
Matt parted his lips the slightest bit, drawing the air in across his tongue on a slow inhale. He swallowed, once, as if savoring the taste. And then…
The corner of his mouth tilted up in a smirk.
“Stop it with the sniffing and tasting thing,” Foggy snapped. “Seriously, she’s not gonna fall for that.”
Matt let his head gradually tilt, his chin tucking down. You knew that look. It was the look of a predator, the motion confident and dripping with intent, with knowledge of what was around him. It was how he hunted, how he hunted you, and your heart skipped a beat on instinct, a reaction far beyond your control. He opened his mouth bit by bit, drawing your attention to his full lips, to the curl of his tongue as he shaped the word.
“Don’t you dare, Murdock!” Foggy bellowed.
“Sweetheart,” Matt purred, his smooth voice nothing but warm smoke and a low, throaty hunger.
“Shit,” you groaned as your knees went weak, your body flooding with heat. It was that voice, damn him: that rasping Devil voice you always swore you could feel drag along your skin like a physical thing, like torn strands of silk, like the burning brush of his mouth and the heat of a flame. When combined with that familiar silhouette and the smooth motions of his body, there was little hope of resisting. “Shit, shit, shit.”
“The color!” Foggy shouted, throwing his hand in front of Matt’s face as if it would break the spell Matt had cast on you just now, cast on you months ago, years ago. “It’s fucking yellow! Focus, woman!”
“I, um… it is… yellow.” You swallowed hard as Matt dragged his tongue across his lips, trailing his fingers smoothly along the billy clubs at his hip. In fact, the rhythm his fingertips took up looked more than familiar enough to have certain parts of your body clenching. “It’s… it is… yellow, and that might be… attention-grabbing. Which is… not a good thing.”
“I think she needs to see the back,” Matt said abruptly.
“Don’t even think about it!” Foggy thundered. “I’ll throw you off this goddamn roof, I don't give a shit about your training!”
“Sweetheart,” Matt crooned. “Would you like to see the back?”
“She would not!”
Fuck.
“...Yes,” you whispered because the only thing as good as Matt’s front was his back, and you’d never seen his ass look like anything less than a five-star masterpiece that belonged in art museums across the world. “Yes, Jesus, let me see.”
“No-ooo,” Foggy moaned, dropping his face into his hands in defeat as Matt pointedly began his gradual spin, showing off his outline with a smug grin. “Jesus, woman. You’re selling your soul for an ass?”
“But it’s his ass,” you mumbled because it was. Matt had the best goddamn ass you’d seen in your life, and that glorious roundness was now cradled deliciously in tight red leather. And maybe Foggy was right. The yellow pattern along the side of Matt’s thighs was a little obvious, but it also brought out just how much muscle was packed on those thighs of his.
You needed him to get over here.
“Does no one see how obvious the yellow is? Am I the only person—”
“D, come here and let me touch your ass,” you whispered.
“I’m absolutely shocked at how scandalous this trial has become.” Matt shook his head as he finished his spin, doing his best to sound at least mildly dismayed, his mouth the mouth of a poor chaste soul who had definitely not fucked you on a church rooftop last month. “And how would your husband feel about that? I see that ring.”
“You two are literally the worst. You cannot be flirting over the ketchup-and-mustard suit. You cannot.”
“Can and am. As for how my husband would feel, he’s given me a free pass for the Devil since Daredevil saves the city on a regular basis,” you said breathlessly as you fixated on the breadth of Matt’s chest. Yeah, you could get used to the yellow. It was a lot but he’d find a way to make it work. “He’s known about my crush on the Devil for ages. So come over here and let me grope the evidence before I rule in your favor.”
Matt let out a playful growl and ran at you, catching you around the waist and throwing you up over his shoulder with ease as you shrieked before bursting into laughter. Matt quickly spun, slapping you once on the ass and making you squirm as he grinned at Foggy and you pointedly began to run your hands curiously over the suit. “Sorry, counselor,” Matt sighed. “Sounds like the verdict’s been rendered in my favor. Better luck next time.”
“You only won because you cheated!” Foggy groaned as Matt sauntered backwards towards the rooftop door. Hopefully Foggy thought that stumble was because Matt had misstepped, and not because you had, in fact, begun to grope hungrily at Matt’s ass. He couldn’t blame you. It was right there. “This was not a fair trial, and I object!”
“Objection denied. No cheating needed,” Matt snorted. “You should have known better than to put my wife on the stand.”
“I’m a weak woman when it comes to my husband’s ass and chest, especially when paired with the Devil head tilt,” you agreed. “I have not hidden this. I acknowledge my flaws.”
“Yeah, but I didn’t know you were this weak,” Foggy scoffed, crossing his arms.
Matt spun, slapping your ass again as you shrugged at Foggy, somewhat difficult considering you were still lazily draped over Matt’s shoulder, but you did your best. It wasn’t like you minded, after all. You had a great view of Matt’s ass from here. “Sorry, Foggy. I’ll make it up to you, but I gotta side with D on this one. I rule in favor of these ass-ets.”
“Oh,” Matt sighed, as Foggy made a retching sound. “Now I’ll really have to punish you, because that was a crime.”
“How many more years will I get if I slap your ass right now as an additional crime?”
“A lifetime sentence, Mrs. Murdock. I’d advise you to think very carefully before acting.”
You pretended to think about it for all of about point-five seconds. “Done.”
Smack!
His chest rumbled against your legs as a heated shudder rolled up his body beneath you, a motion easy to track with you draped over his shoulder, with your gaze fixed firmly on the line of him. And you’d gotten him good. The texture was a little different than the last Devil suit, but you still got a nice, loud sound of it, even if nothing would compare to bare, unobstructed skin.
He tilted his head very, very carefully, his lips brushing against your side. “You’re going to pay for that one when I get you inside, sweetheart,” he murmured, so quietly you knew it was just for you.
You were counting on it.
Foggy rolled his eyes as Matt wrenched open the rooftop door, and you threw Foggy a salute. “Despite my utter betrayal, I want you to know I love you, can’t wait to see that movie tomorrow. Use the other door on your way out, we’ll be locking this one.”
“Mustard-lover!” he threw at you, as you dropped your head to blatantly watch Matt’s ass again, the door shutting behind you both.
The second you were inside, Matt set you down carefully. Then he turned and stepped into you, herding you back with the broad line of his body. You gave in happily, ceding ground as he prowled forward until your back hit the wall, a shiver of anticipation running through you.
This never got old.
Your breath caught when he dipped his head, tilting it as he listened to the sound of your body, his tongue darting against his lips as he tasted you on the air, and you swallowed down an eager moan. He swayed in closer then, tempting you, inching closer until his mouth hovered over yours. Only then did his arms rise so he could brace his hands on either side of you, caging you in. Just like that, you were trapped, the Devil looming over you in heated shades of red and gold, rich lust and glorious indulgence. “Mm, now, sweetheart, I have one very important question before we start.”
Fuck, there was that voice again, nice and low. You couldn’t resist reaching out to touch him again, sliding your hands boldly up from his waist to fan out across his chest. “Uh huh?”
“Suit on,” he purred, his lips feathering against yours with each sinful world, “or suit off?”
“Suit definitely on,” you hummed, sliding your arms around him to drag your nails down the line of his back. “Someone’s gotta break it in, right?”
He threw you a feral grin, then, the low huff of his laugh rolling rich across your skin. “Did I ever tell you I love you?”
“Every day, D. Every beautiful day.”
-x-
“Ok, but is it… how yellow is it, really?”
“I mean, you’re not mustard-colored like Foggy says. More gold. But let’s just say if you polish that helmet too much, you might cause a car accident. That shit is really reflective now that I think about it.”
“Hm. I may have to change that in the future.”
A Worthy Sacrifice
Going on a food run for this spaceship usually didn’t end up in a debate over whose body parts are more expendable. Never, as a matter of fact. Today was the first. And it could have easily been our last.
The trip had such a peaceful start, too. Along with the usual supplies that we paid real money for, Captain Sunlight sent a handful of us to pick up a local delicacy: some plant. I honestly missed the name. I was more interested in the location — inside a vast cave complex with shafts of light filtering in from above, and multiple lakes of poison to make the perfect growing environment. Or maybe they were acid lakes. At any rate, extremely dangerous, and completely at odds with the lovely sun-dappled scenery and brightly colored plantlife.
I stood with some trepidation at the edge of the cave maze, holding an empty bag and wondering if there was maybe an entrance somewhere big enough for a hoverbike. Beside me, the hulking forms of the Frillian twins were similarly hesitant. You can’t punch an acid lake, after all, or lift weights at it.
Down closer to ground level, Mur just looked annoyed. “It’s fine,” he said, flipping a blue-black tentacle forward. “The locals pick these plants daily.” His own bag was on a dinky little hoversled that followed him like a flying puppy, leash and all. The sled also held a couple pairs of pruning shears in case the stems gave us trouble. Mur could have ridden on the sled himself, pushing off the ground like a squid-shaped kid on a snow disk, but that would have been undignified. Strongarms are proud of that tentacle-walking, after all.
And apparently they’re not phased by giant lakes of acid.
“If you say so,” I told him. “Lead the way.”
He did, grumbling. I followed, taking care not to trip over the sled, while Blip and Blop stood tall and brought up the rear.
The entrance tunnel was small, alongside many others, and a few turned out to lead to the same big cavern. My first impression was warmth. I regretted wearing a sweater, thin and utilitarian though it was. I took it off as we walked, tying it around my waist, glad that I at least had my hair tied back in its usual long braid. I didn’t need any extra sweat about my neck today.
Once the sweater was secure, I was free to appreciate the scenery. It really was pretty. The walls were a wash of reds and golds, with multiple types of greenery sprouting from every level surface and a few that weren’t. The lake far below was an evil purple, fading to the innocent blue of tropical seas at the edges. A solid fence lined the cliff edge, which I appreciated.
The wall behind us was awash in climbing vines with dangling blueberry-looking things that sure would be convenient if they were the plants we were here for.
No such luck. Those were on the far side. Lots of them. A vast jungle of treelike things, most of which were bent under the weight of head-sized yellow fruit. As I watched, one particularly spindly trunk lost its biggest fruit to gravity, and sprung upwards to fling the smaller ones away in a comical fashion. I could almost hear the splats against the cave wall.
“Well, they sure look ripe,” I said.
Mur wasn’t interested. “Where’s the— Oh, there it is. We took the wrong door. C’mon.” He slapped away along the path beside that fence, over to where a single large hover platform waited like a ferry.
We were just getting on, with me trying to hide my misgivings and the Frillians doing the same, when a chorus of more slapping tentacle-steps approached at speed.
“Wait!” commanded the large reddish Strongarm in the lead, who was colored much like the cavern walls. She was also shaped more like an octopus than a squid, as was the green one behind her. The beige-gray one had a pointy squid head like Mur.
Mur waited. He’d already figured out the controls for the platform, and he stood there in silence while I clutched the railing with the Frillians, and the newcomers climbed on.
With nods all around, Mur pressed a button to close the gate. Then he removed the lid of the fancy pottery jar big enough for a child to hide inside — I’d assumed somebody had left it behind — and he scooped out a bunch of those blueberry things. As I watched in curiosity, he opened a different lid, this one over a part of the control console that stuck out, baring a dark tunnel like an ominous toilet bowl.
He threw the berries in. The platform’s engine started.
Mur steered us out over the deadly lake, engines humming happily, throwing clusters of berries in every so often. I exchanged looks with the Frillians. The other Strongarms didn’t look impressed.
“Are those fuel berries?” I asked.
“Only for this engine,” Mur said, tapping a sign. “It takes anything organic. Nice of the locals to make sure there’s always a full pot here. There is a note here to refill what we use if possible, and I think we definitely should, but I’m sure that not everyone does.”
The red Strongarm made a flapping noise that I recognized as the equivalent of a snort. Yeah, she probably wouldn’t stick around to do her part.
(And remember that bit about “anything organic”? If you recall how I started this little anecdote, this is where you’ll start to get concerned.)
There was only a moderate level of worry in the air at that point, though. We hadn’t fallen in yet and the rails seemed sturdy, if sparse, and the jungle was approaching at a reasonable pace. The slight breeze even made the temperature pleasant.
When Mur docked the platform headfirst and opened a gate on the other side, I was the first one off among the trees. Picking the yellow fruits turned out to be a great time, especially the way they kept accidentally flying through the air. They were about as heavy as cantaloupes, but with such rubbery outsides that it was like they were made for high-impact comedy. I did my best to pick each tree thoroughly, hanging onto the bent trunk with one hand before letting go. I’d started by taking a single fruit from each tree, but that had not worked.
Blip and Blop had the most efficient strategy: one held a bag and the other shook a tree like they were taking its lunch money. Mur just climbed the lowest trunks and plucked everything he found. One way or another, we filled our bags quickly and met back at the platform.
The strangers were a little slower, but again, we waited politely. Soon enough, we were on the way across the lake that lurked distantly below like malevolent grape jam.
I was just thinking that it had been a while since I’d had a proper PB&J when the trouble happened.
The Strongarms, standing on one side of the platform with their sacks of fruit, produced blasters and demanded ours.
(Yes, Strongarms keep things hidden among their tentacles. Yes, it’s just as gross as it sounds.)
Anyway, they must have taken our politeness and healthy fear of death for the signs of a bunch of pushovers, and wow they were wrong about that.
Blip and Blop swung their sacks of fruit in unison while I dove to one side and Mur took the other. You’d think we did this sort of thing all the time. In reality, there were only so many directions to go in a fenced-in battleground like this.
The would-be bandits were too busy dodging the sacks to aim their blasters properly, though they tried. One shot Blip’s bag of fruit, making her even more angry as yellow globes bounced everywhere. One nearly singed my ear, but didn’t get a second shot when I roundhouse kicked him in the squiddy head.
The other one, the leader, was wrestling Mur, and her shot went right through the center of the berry pot, shattering it and sending the platform’s fuel in every direction.
I mentioned that the railings weren’t exactly close together. And that these looked like blueberries: the little round things. My point is, they rolled. With great talent and speed. Right off the sides and down into that terrifying lake, leaving only a few behind.
“Look what you did!” Mur yelled, wrestling harder.
Blop made an undignified squeak of concern, then tried to find an angle he could help from. He ended up stepping firmly on a red tentacle and pinning the blaster to the floor.
His sister, meanwhile, was slamming an alien cantaloupe against the green guy, whose own weapon was stuck inside a different fruit, making its leisurely way down towards the lake.
The gray dude was out cold, which was a surprise to me. I guess Strongarms are easy to concuss, I thought as I made sure his blaster was safe on our side of the platform. I’d considered throwing it over the side as well, but figured we might want it to keep them in line once they woke up. I sure wasn’t planning on giving it back, though.
Crunch went the third blaster, Ow went the Strongarm holding it, and “Stay down, you arm-dragging limp grub!” went Mur. The red Strongarm stayed down.
So. We won the fight. But we only had a scattered few berries left to fuel the platform, and it had coasted to a stop in what looked to me like the exact stinkin’ center of this terrible, poisonous lake.
Blop looked worried. “Now what?” he asked Mur.
“These?” Blip suggested, holding a yellow fruit out toward the intake.
“No!” Mur shouted, startling everyone. He blocked her path. “Those break the engine. Didn’t you read the sign?”
I glanced at the defeated Strongarms. “I think only you read the sign,” I told him.
“Well, it’s very clear!” he exclaimed, waving dark tentacles like he wanted to tear out hair that he didn’t have. “Only other organics!”
Blip set the fruit down. “What do we have?” she asked, checking her pockets. “I’ve got two shrimp sticks and one of those seednuts that Paint likes.”
We all took stock, coming up with a whole lot of nothing. The unconscious Strongarms woke, and submitted to sitting in the corner with their leader, injured and embarrassed and also not in possession of any spare fuel.
“Let’s at least see how far the berries take us,” Mur said grimly, picking up the nearest.
We gathered all that we could find, and it took us a little way. Pocket snacks and whatnot took us a bit farther. We considered clothes (most were artificial), the fruit-carrying bags (same), and even treating the toilet-looking thing in appropriate but mortifying ways.
As we got increasingly desperate, we were still far from shore.
“Pretty sure this is real leather,” Mur said as he dropped in the leash for his tiny hoversled. “That will take us … not far enough.”
We were sort of close, kind of. Relatively speaking.
“The captain will come looking if we’re gone long enough,” Blop said.
“She doesn’t know which tunnel we took,” Mur reminded him. “Searching could take days.”
“Won’t the locals find us?” Blip asked.
The red Strongarm sneered. “They just finished a work cycle, and it’s a regular holiday. You think we’d try to rob you if they could come in at any moment?”
Both Frillians groaned.
Mur scowled. “Yes, very smart. See where that got you!” Moving slowly for added drama, he picked up a pair of shears from his sled. “Who wants to volunteer something organic?”
There were desperate pleas at that, and stonefaced silence from Mur that I hoped was acting.
“What about them?” the leader said, pointing wildly at the Frillians. “Surely they don’t need all those frills!”
Blip and Blop regarded her with identical shocked expressions. “Yes we do!”
“Well, we need our arms! You think that wouldn’t hurt to cut off?”
The yelling escalated while something very obvious occurred to me. I stepped over to Mur and flopped the braid over my shoulder. “Do you think this would be enough?”
The Strongarms shut up immediately. And they stayed silent while Mur calculated, so silent that I started to wonder.
They answered my question before I could ask it.
“You would volunteer that?” asked the red one quietly.
Ohhh, they think it’s a tentacle covered in hair, I realized. Have they not met a human before? Never mind; let’s see if Mur plays along.
“Yes,” I said solemnly, instead of going “Yeah” like I usually would. “If this is the only way to save all of us, then I will gladly make that sacrifice.” I looked over at Blip and Blop, who were elbowing each other but keeping mum. Good.
Mur ushered me toward the intake with all the grandeur of a high-society attendant. “If you would permit me to do the honors,” he said, “I will be quick.”
So I stood in front of the thing with my back to it so the wide-eyed bandits couldn’t see, told Mur to cut just below the hair tie, and held up my sweater ready to wrap it around my head like a bandage.
Yes, I did feel silly. But the bandits deserved a bit of shame and secondhand anguish. Besides, I’d been wanting to try a short haircut for ages, but never found the right time to chop it all off.
This is definitely the right time, I thought. “Go ahead.”
Mur snipped through the braid with one clean cut — hooray for sharp shears — and I collapsed with an anguished expression and some artful whimpers. Blip helped tie the sweater “bandage,” while Blop shielded us from view and stared down the Strongarms. I didn’t see Mur drop the braid into the intake, since my view was somewhat limited, but I felt the engine kick on with a most welcome hum.
I really hope that was enough, I thought as I lay there with my arms about my head. It’ll suck if we have to snip this down to a buzz cut. That’ll be hard to keep up the act through. And I really don’t want hair THAT short.
But when the engine finally went quiet, it was to a cheer from the Frillians. We were close enough to jump.
Or, more accurately, close enough for Blip to fling Mur across the gap with one of my socks to gather berries in. Mur was a terrible shot when he threw it back, but enough berries reached us that we were able to close the distance.
I pulled the blaster from my waistband and nudged it over the side before I forgot. It was too small for the Frillians to use anyway.
Plus, we didn’t need it. By the sound of her voice, the lead Strongarm had been so humbled by my sacrifice that she might have been considering a career change.
She even offered their collections of fruit, and the other two didn’t object.
Mur accepted graciously. I managed to turn my chuckling into pained noises as strong Frillian arms lifted me. I didn’t uncover my head to look. By the sounds of it, the many fruits were being balanced on Mur’s sled and the shoulders of whichever Frillian wasn’t carrying me.
“Farewell,” Mur said haughtily. “Make better choices in the future.”
We left the cavern to the sound of the ex-bandits promising to do so.
I have no idea if they’ll really go straight, but wouldn’t it be hilarious if they did?
Once we were out of sight, Blip put me down and took her share of the fruit bags. I claimed one too. I felt much lighter without the braid. And the threat of impending death.
I looked at my crewmates cheerfully. “Let’s never do that again.”
“Not without significant backup,” Mur agreed.
“Or more spare headfur!” Blop said.
“I’ve definitely spared enough for one day.” I freed a hand to pull out the hair tie, marveling at how simple a process it was now.
My crewmates all told me I looked incredibly strange with short hair about my face like that.
I told them to wait until I picked a final hairstyle, and I described hair gel to them.
ok so hear me out: i think steve would be a huge fan of oingo boingo. maybe robin introduced him or maybe eddie who knows point is steve is like really obsessed with them, and if anyone (but robin) asks he always just says he likes the music, thinks it’s fun or whatever but in reality? in reality he thinks danny elfman is hot. and like only robin knows and she just keeps having to bite her tongue from mentioning that steve so clearly has a type (weird bizarre punk musicians that give off big nerd vibes) anyway maybe robin finally points it out and steve denies it hard and just keeps saying that they don’t look that much alike and robin can kinda agree in some ways (mostly different hair) but in some ways steve is also just wrong (big eyes, same build, same energy) but either way it did the damage because now steve can’t like stop thinking about it and maybe eddie convinces corroded to cover one of their heavier songs (maybe grey matter or insects) to impress steve (because he’s so gone for that man) and steve kinda just like has no choice but to date eddie
Okay I won't lie, I was today years old when I realized Oingo Boingo was Danny Elfman's band. I was also today years old when I realized that despite knowing OF them, I apparently didn't know any of their songs well enough to do this. So I am just a major disappointment all around today, but I did something! Hopefully this something is good enough to pass the test! - Mickala ❤️
------------------------------------------------------
It wasn’t the first time Robin caught Steve dancing to them. She’d waited for the song to change last time before walking fully into the room, but this time, she couldn’t wait.
“Oingo Boingo, Steve? Really?”
Steve jumped and quickly shut off the boombox playing a tape that he owned.
“Robin! When did you get here?”
She smirked at him being flustered, and was that…embarrassment?
“Oh, relax. I already knew you listened to some of their music,” she said as she stood next to him, reaching down to grab a cookie from the cooling tray he was placing them on. “I may not understand it completely, but I have my suspicions.”
“It’s just fun! Easy to dance to, ya know?” he sounded like he was trying to convince himself of this as much as Robin.
“Uh huh. Definitely nothing to do with how similar a certain dingus looks to Danny Elfman. That can’t be a reason.”
She smirked as Steve flushed bright red and turned away from her to pretend like he was busy.
“It’s not a reason. They don’t even look that similar,” he insisted.
“Suuuuure. These are good, by the way,” she pointed at the cookies with her mouth full of the last bite of the one she’d already stolen.
“Thanks. Mrs. Henderson’s recipe. Dustin wanted some and she’s been busy with work so I thought I’d make them for Hellfire tonight,” he shrugged.
“Always taking care of your kids, huh?”
“Did you come by just to annoy me?”
Robin rolled her eyes, jumping up to sit on the counter and watch Steve put the next batch of cookie dough into the oven.
“No, that was just a bonus.”
“So? Why’re you here?”
“Vickie and I have a date tonight. I need to borrow a sweater,” Robin sighed.
“You have sweaters.”
“But none as nice as yours! C’mon, Steve! I promise I will wash it and bring it back to you by this weekend. It’s not like you’re using it for a date.”
“Ouch,” Steve said, throwing his hand to his chest dramatically. “Fine. But not the yellow one. I am wearing it for Hellfire.”
Robin raised her brows, but didn’t comment, jumping off the counter and kissing his cheek before running upstairs.
—---------------------------------------
“Sorry to be so early!” Eddie yelled into Steve’s house as he opened the front door.
The music was loud, so he realized Steve probably didn’t hear him.
If he didn’t want a nail bat to the head, he needed to be careful and not scare him.
He set his bag down by the couch for now, walking towards the stairs to go to where the music was coming from.
He stood in the doorway of Steve’s room, smiling to himself as he watched Steve dance around his room while he got ready.
He was shirtless, and his belt wasn’t done, his hair was still a little wet from a shower, and Eddie was going to start drooling.
He snapped himself out of it when he realized what Steve was listening to.
“Didn’t really take you for an Oingo Boingo fan, Stevie,” Eddie said just loud enough to be heard over the music.
Steve almost tripped over his own feet, barely catching himself on the corner of the dresser.
“Eddie! You’re early!” Steve tried to look casual, crossing his arms over his bare chest.
“Yeah, sorry. Just wanted to be all set up and make sure you didn’t need help with something,” he said, genuinely apologetic for scaring him.
“Oh,” Steve seemed to relax and walked over to the stereo playing the music, turning it off instead of turning it down. “If you wanna go set up, I’ll be down in a few.”
“You good? I really didn’t mean to scare you,” Eddie said, coming into the room a bit, big eyes looking up at Steve from under his lashes.
“I’m good, yeah,” Steve said, small pink tint dusting his cheeks as he looked down at the sweater on his bed.
“Good. Like that sweater on you, by the way,” Eddie winked before turning and leaving the room.
He pretended to ignore Steve’s groan and the immediate sound of someone falling onto their bed.
—---------------------------------
Hellfire went longer than usual that night, but Steve didn’t really mind.
It’s not like he had any other plans, and he liked having the house full.
That’s why he had the kids over for movie nights once a week, why he invited Robin to stay with him when they had closing shifts together, why he even offered his home as the new meeting place for Hellfire Club in the first place.
Everyone stayed to help clean up a bit, but Eddie was very protective of his things, so they all slowly scattered after bringing trash and empty plates to the kitchen for Steve to handle.
Eventually, Steve walked to the dining room to check on Eddie’s progress, and froze when he saw him looking at the new poster he’d gotten.
“So you’re not just a casual fan then?” Eddie smirked, like he was teasing.
It wasn’t the first time he teased Steve about his music taste, but it was definitely the first time Steve didn’t blame him for it.
“I mean, they’re just different. I like different sometimes,” Steve shrugged.
Eddie put the poster back in the corner where Steve had hidden it among a few other items he’d picked up while shopping earlier that week.
“You do?” he asked, more serious than this conversation probably needed to be.
“Yeah. Robin told me I need more things that make me happy for me, and they’re one of them.”
Eddie nodded, couldn’t help but feel a little proud that Steve was actually listening to advice and actually accepting that he deserved to enjoy things just for him.
“Good. Then enjoy them. I’m not judging, just surprised,” Eddie clarified.
“Okay,” Steve said with a small smile.
“Okay,” Eddie smiled back.
—------------------------------------------
The stage was bright, brighter than usual.
Or maybe Steve just was getting the start of a migraine.
Or maybe Robin was right and Eddie just lit up his world in different ways.
It was hard to say, but it was certainly easy to watch Eddie be a star on stage.
He was always flashy, always bigger than life, but on stage, it was more.
“Hey, you good?” Robin nudged him from her spot in the corner of the booth. She was hiding from the bartender who tried flirting with her for the last two trips to the bar.
“Yep,” he replied with a smile.
“Alright! Next up is a new one for us. It’s a cover of a song by a band that may be a joke to a lot of you, but it’s kind of a favorite of someone really important to me. Hope you don’t mind that I made it metal, Stevie,” Eddie smirked towards the corner where he was sitting.
Steve’s stomach flipped as he heard the intro guitar.
“Wow, Eddie loves you so bad,” Robin teased.
“Shut up, Robin,” Steve said, waving his hand at her, unable to look away from where Eddie was singing his favorite song.
He was mesmerized, and despite the more metal sounds Corroded Coffin performed it with, he loved it.
“That was Grey Matter by Oingo Boingo, performed by your favorite local shitheads, Corroded Coffin. Goodnight!”
The stage lights went off, and the crowd cheered.
It wasn’t a big crowd, it never was, but it grew every week they performed, and tonight was definitely the biggest crowd they’d had yet.
He could see the shadows of the band moving to break down their equipment and instruments, but surprisingly, Eddie’s shadow was missing.
“That sure seemed like an act of love,” Robin teased, kicking his foot under the table.
“He was just being nice. He wants me to keep liking what I like,” Steve tried to sound convincing, but even he could recognize that it was more than just a friendly thing to do.
“I do.”
Steve turned quickly, Eddie’s fond smile looking back at him from much closer than he was expecting.
“Eds!” Steve jumped up and threw his arms around his neck in a tight hug. “Can’t believe you covered my favorite song! It was great.”
“Yeah?” Eddie asked, wrapping his arms around Steve’s waist and relaxing against him. “It was good?”
He could just barely see Robin rolling her eyes in her seat, sipping on some fruity drink that the bartender probably only made her because he wanted to fuck her.
Steve pulled back a little, but kept his arms around Eddie’s neck.
He’d only had one beer, but he suddenly felt drunk off of the smell of Eddie’s cologne and sweat so close to him.
The room blurred away, and Steve realized there was no reason for him to not take a chance.
Eddie covered his favorite song by a band he didn’t even like, made him feel seen and understood with something he hid from everyone except Robin, was leaving his band to clean up without him to come over and see how he did.
“I’m gonna kiss you,” Steve breathed out, ignoring Robin’s groan of ‘finally.’
“Because of the song?” Eddie gulped.
“Because of you.”
Steve had kissed a lot of people in his lifetime, probably more than the average 20 year old, even.
Not a single one of them could compare to the way his lips fit against Eddie’s, to the way Eddie’s hands squeezed his hips before deepening the kiss, to the way his tongue licked along his bottom lip hungrily, testing how much Steve wanted to try to get away with in public.
Hawkins may not be very safe for them, but this bar was. The owner didn’t tolerate any kind of bullying or harassment, and anyone who dared try to fight would be permanently banned.
Steve couldn’t help the little whimper he let out when Eddie’s thigh rubbed just right against the front of his jeans, where he couldn’t hide the fact that he was half-hard.
“Might wanna take this to the bathroom,” Robin told them.
Eddie pulled away, leaving them both breathless, panting in the space between their lips.
“Home?” Steve asked.
“Dingus! You’re my ride!” Robin exclaimed.
“Ride home with Jeff, he’s got my van,” Eddie said without turning around.
“Ride home in your van with people I barely know? Are you insane?” Robin sounded mad, but Steve kind of didn’t care.
“I trust them,” Steve said, still looking at the way Eddie’s eyes were shining in the low light of the bar.
“Great. When I get left on the side of the road for dead, you can tell my parents that you trusted them. That’ll go well.”
“Robbie, I promise you’ll be fine,” he said, pulling away to look at her with an annoyed face. “Please.”
She sighed and stomped her foot.
“Fine. But only because you’ve wanted this so long and if I have to hear one more thing about how Eddie’s curls bounce when he gets excited during Hellfire, I will stab myself with the nearest dull object,” she said before walking away.
“You talk about my curls bouncing?” Eddie teased.
“She’s dramatic. I may have mentioned it in passing one time.”
“Uh huh.” Eddie gave him a quick peck on the lips. “So, wanna explain the Oingo Boingo thing or did I just do something really dramatic over a band that you don’t actually like that much?”
“No, I do love them,” Steve laughed. “Robin said it’s because Danny reminds me of you, which is stupid because he doesn't and I wouldn’t even like a band just because of that when you’re in a band already.”
Eddie’s brows raised as he tried to explain.
“And also, he doesn’t even look like you that much. I guess maybe the eyes a little, and he’s pretty energetic or whatever, and like really talented, but. But that’s it!”
“That’s it?”
“Yes!”
“Oh my god, I love you so much,” Eddie laughed.
Steve froze.
“What?”
Eddie paled when he realized what he said, his eyes wide as his heart started racing in his chest.
“I. I didn’t mean to say that.”
Steve tried not to let the pain show on his face, the hope immediately exiting his body in a rush.
“Oh. Right.”
Steve let his arms drop to his sides, bit his lip to hold back the impending tears.
“No, not like that! Wait. Okay. It’s not because it isn’t true, okay? I do love you. I just didn’t mean to say it like that. Not when we just kissed for the first time,” Eddie tried to explain. “I just don’t wanna scare you off. I’ve never loved anyone before and I don’t know what I’m doing.”
Steve gave his cheek a kiss, smiling as he realized that Eddie may actually have him beat on being a bit clingy.
“I won’t be scared off. I love you,” he whispered against his ear.
“You don’t have to say it just because I did.”
Steve kissed his neck and pulled away to look at him.
“I’m saying it because I do. And maybe I’m hoping you’ll cover more Oingo Boingo songs,” he joked.
“My love for you knows no bounds, my king,” Eddie bowed, kissing the back of his hand. “I shall cover whatever you wish!”
Steve giggled, probably would have been embarrassed about his reaction if Eddie didn’t obviously enjoy it, smiling up at him.
“So you’ll do Careless Whisper next?”
“My love knows one bound,” Eddie grimaced.
I have an idea, can we get siren (merman) Hawks and can it be smut/fluffy...please
-👁
i’ve never been one to be able to write about any fantasy creatures whatsoever but this was actually kind of fun (๑˃ᴗ˂)
warnings: oral sex (receiving), fingering (receiving), some dirty talk (imagined by the reader), a little bittersweet at the end sorry
Tumblr media
The air is warm, sunlight peeks through the breaks of the trees, and you walk further down the path to the lake that you’ve been visiting since the beginning of spring last year. A picnic basket is carried by your side, it’s contents slightly rattling as you walk the paved dirt path. The straps of your dress fall down your shoulder every once in a while and you think that once you stop to rest that you should tighten the bows a little bit so that you’re not always adjusting them.
You break into a little jog once you see the end of the path despite your flip flops not being meant for more than a leisurely walk.
A small pond with a little waterfall is your destination. There’s a wooden dock that you can tell has been standing strong and shows no sign of giving way anytime soon. Perhaps in another fifty years it will start to show some wear but right now, it’s sturdy.
You sit at the very end of the dock, making sure to take your flip flops off first and setting your basket aside next to you. The water level has risen; you know this because last year the water only reached your ankle when you dipped your feet in and this year, the water is up last your calves. There was a lot of rain and while you’re grateful for it, you also don’t want it to submerge the dock either.
Kicking your feet in the water, it creates ripples and disturbs the water lilies nearby.
A head of blond hair pops out from the surface of the water, yellow eyes trained on you swimming beneath the surface to approach. “There you are,” you greet to your friend, “I brought a picnic for us today.”
The head disappears beneath the surface, leaving you alone for a few seconds, the splash of water and wet hands grip onto your calves. When you look down, you see the handsome face of man but beneath the surface of the water, he’s mythical.
Last year, you discovered him.
You moved to town two years ago in the winter and hadn’t made any friends yet. Loneliness settled heavily on you as you struggled to connect with the folks of this town but it’s hard to break into the inner circles of a place where the population is only used to knowing each other. In trying to make conversation with the townsfolk, you heard a lot of talk of avoiding the lake in the middle of the forest. That apparently some parents tried to drown their child in the lake and it came back as a ghastly creature to haunt the water and the surrounding shores of it as well.
You took their little fairytale as a bunch of hooey and decided to walk to that lake.
When you walked the path, it was no different than any trail you had been to before. However coming closer to the break in the trees, you saw a dock and someone swimming in the water. There was some wariness from you when you saw it was a man. Only his head popped up from the water and he seemed very focused on something in the tree branches that reached over the water.
You peered quietly at first, following his line of vision to see a hawk just perched on a tree branch.
When you called out, it startled both the bird and the young man. The hawk took flight and the man in the water was frightened by your presence. He was quick to look back at you before going into the water. You ran to the dock, shouting that you were friendly and your eyes were searching for air bubbles to find him. Your immediate action was to jump in after him.
It was the day you discovered that mermaids… or rather a merman was real.
He had a beautiful tail of red scales that shimmered underneath the sunlight and he seemed to have a liking for the hawk that circled the lake.
So you named him Hawks.
Unusual name for a sea creature but he responded to it once he had gotten used to your presence.
“Here, I brought you an egg today. Hard boiled this time.” You offered to Hawks, already having peeled the shell off. Last time you tried to give him soft boiled but he hated it. He looks reluctantly at it and shakes his head, a gesture that you had taught him since you found he had very little communication. “Oh don’t worry, it’s not runny like last time.”
To prove it, you bite into the top half of the bed. The yolk is firm and a little dry as you chew, but it’s for your friend and not yourself.
Hawks is still reluctant.
“If you don’t want it, that’s okay. But it just means that you won’t get your favorite,” you sing the last word and watch how he perks up, “chicken.”
Hawks grunts and pats his hand at your knee, almost as if he were a child. His hand reaches towards you, eager at the mention of his favorite food. You place the half eaten egg in his palm before pushing his hand back to him. You giggle when he pouts at the egg and looks back up at you; you can tell he feels a little betrayed.
“Just try it, okay? You know how to show me if you don’t like something right?”
You taught him small ways to communicate, often with simple hand gestures. If he doesn’t like something, he’s supposed to cover his mouth with his hand. If he does, he taps his lips twice and then points to what he likes.
Again, like a child, he takes the egg and chews with puffed up cheeks. As you wait for his evaluation, you reach for the plastic container inside the picnic basket but you don’t quite bring it out just yet. He needs to properly tell you whether he likes something or not.
Hawks seems to mull it over before putting his hand over his mouth.
“Okay, I won’t bring you eggs anymore then.” You say with a little confirming nod. The container from the picnic basket is brought out and Hawks bounces in the water in excitement. The little, excited grunts he makes make you shake your head with a smile. You hand him a hearty piece of cooked chicken and it’s practically snatched from you.
Nothing that you haven’t been used to for a good while now.
You give him pieces of chicken with one hand and feed yourself with a sandwich the the other. The sun is warm on your skin, the water is cool, and Hawks is nuzzling your shins as you finish feeding yourself once all the chicken was gone.
Slowly you start to pack up everything inside your picnic basket. You wished that you didn’t have to go, truthfully you hated leaving him by himself, but you still had a life to attend to. Plus also needing to cook his favorite foods as well. “Okay Hawks, I’ll try to see if I can stop by in a few days?”
You start to lift your legs out the water but Hawks hugs your legs to keep you in place.
When he does that, you know it’s because he’s feeling a little lonely.
“I’m sorry Hawks, I know you’re sad that I have to go. I’ll try to come the soonest I can, okay?” You apologize to him, reaching down cup his cheek. He leans into your palm, affectionately humming but whines sadly when you retreat your hand back. He taps his lips twice and points to you. “I like you too Hawks.”
Slowly, he parts your legs and pushes the skirt of your dress up. Again he taps his lips twice and points to in between your legs, this time sticking his tongue out.
“Oh… I don’t know about today.”
Aside from keeping his actual presence a secret, this of course stays strictly between the two of you. Not that Hawks had the capability of saying anything or anyone knew of his presence. Sometimes you laid in bed at night thinking about him, reminiscing how curious he is about your body and how you let him explore his curiosity.
Hawks repeats his action, his brows furrowing and insisting with a pout that is working its magic on you.
He ends up getting what he wants when he presses a kiss to your knee, looking at you through his eyelashes and humming.
“… Okay.”
You discard your dress and fold it neatly before setting it aside. Hawks has a smile on his face that you pretend to not see as you slip your underwear off your body. Your calves are used to the temperature of the water but you still let out a little squeal as you join him in the water.
Hawks swims up to you and shows how happy he is by giving you a hug, affectionately nuzzling your cheek. Even though you hadn’t necessarily planned to have this type of visit with him, a part of you is flattered that he has these kinds of feelings for you and wants to act on them.
He pulls back, only to give you a quick kiss on the lips, smiling at you before sinking beneath the water’s surface. His lips kiss at your tummy before sinking lower, his hands carefully holding your hips and pats your butt as a signal.
I’m going to start now.
You gasp when he shyly licks at you as just a little tease, focusing on the view ahead of you and at a water lily floating on the water. “Oh…” you whisper quietly as closes his mouth over your cunt, licking away at you with the same eagerness he was displaying before. “H-Hawks… oh fuck.”
If only there was some way for you to be able to breathe underwater with him. To see his face and what kind of expressions as he eats you out. He’s beautiful so you know that if you were to see him look up at you as he ate you out, he’d set the butterflies in your tummy fluttering.
When you first let him explore his curiosity, he was just as shy as you were. You could tell by his touches and he could tell by the way you’d jerk whenever you were unprepared to receive his touch. But at this point of your bond, the two of you were definitely used to each other.
Not to say that he didn’t make you flustered sometimes.
Hawks seemed to be able to express himself just fine without words and without difficulty. Something in his nature or perhaps you happened to sync well with him, the two of you were able to understand one another clearly. How was it the best communication you had in a relationship, it was with someone that couldn’t speak any discernible words at all?
“Oh god!” You gasp again before you let out a small moan. Hawks licks you enthusiastically, carefully pushing a finger into your pussy, something that he learned after observing you in the early stages of the two of you showing interest in one another. You remembered how you shyly opened your legs while sitting at the dock one day and confessing to him that you dreamt of him. You remember his curious eyes watching your fingers dip into your dripping cunt and just how fascinated he became.
Your head falls back and you dip one hand beneath the water to grasp at Hawks’ hair. You bite your bottom lip to try to keep your noises in even though you were more than sure that no one else except him would hear you.
Sometimes you wonder what he’d sound like if he was able to speak. You imagine his voice would be smooth, pleasing to your ears and that he could make you laugh. In your selfish little mind, he says all the right things that make your heart race.
You’re a good girl, my wonderful girl…
The tip of his tongue prods against your clit and you let out an audible moan into the air.
The way you sound is so sexy, I fucking love it!
Your hips rock into his mouth, almost like you’re riding his face. His hands are secure on holding your waist to help keep you afloat. Sparks of pleasure go up and down your body, your thighs slightly shaky as your orgasm starts build higher.
Sweet, precious thing… I adore you.
Your hand clenches into a fist and grabs a fistful of Hawks’ hair while your mouth drops into a silent ‘oh’. Your eyes flutter as you experience your high, still caught off guard over how well Hawks has learned how to make you cum. He was intelligent enough to discern that you were experiencing pleasure, smart enough to see if you were sad over something, and he always seemed to be looking into you just as you were looking into him.
He always looked like he was in wonder whenever he stared at you too long.
Hawks comes up from the water and you loop your arms around him in a hug, pressing a kiss to his cheek and just hanging onto him like a sloth. You were wanting to catch your breath. He doesn’t seem to be done with you just yet, sliding his hand between your bodies and pushes two fingers into your pussy. “Oh… you’re not done?” You ask but have difficulty keeping conversation when you’re still sensitive from an orgasm and he keeps curling his fingers into you.
Your body shudders as you let him finger you, a part of you wondering if he liked the feel of his fingers inside your warm cunt. More than a few times he’d point to in between your legs and hold up his middle and index finger up as a signal and pointing at himself. Eventually you had learned that it was his way of saying that he wanted to finger you.
“H-Hawks… are you done? I have to go back soon.” You whimper as he continues to tease his fingers against that spongy spot that makes you see heaven. Your cunt squeezes around his fingers and a big part of you wishes that he had a cock so that you could know what it was like to fuck him.
You could see him being a little whiny as he cums in you, lying back to let you take control as you ride him. You’d milk him dry and make a creamy mess on his dick, wanting to make him just as over sensitive in the same way he does it to you.
You wished that you could fuck Hawks.
Cumming a second time by his fingers, you pat at his shoulder and he retreats from you. This time, he returns your hug and holds you close. Your legs cross around his waist and you stay for a small moment just holding one another.
A kiss is pressed to your forehead.
I miss you already.
In return, you do the same to him.
I always miss you.
You wished that he could come with you.
You try hard to not look at him as you begin to get ready to leave because of the sad look in his eye. There are days that he seems to be okay as you head home, but others he makes it very known when he’s sad. And you know that the more time you spend together, each goodbye will get harder and more forlorn.
“Okay Hawks, I’m going to go now. I’ll try to visit soon.”
He nods his head, watching from the water as you take your picnic basket and the straps of your dress fall off your shoulder. You walk ahead and make sure to keep looking forward, eventually hearing when he dives under the water and you can let out the sad sigh you were holding in.
“I’ll visit you again soon.”
