park jongseong asks for your opinion on almost everything he does. he'll ask you if he should buy this shirt or that one, watch looks better, what he should eat. it’s like he lost all ability make choices for himself after he gained feelings for you, only trusting your opinion. maybe it's because he wants to have things that you like, who knows. what everyone does know is that the contanst buzzing coming from your phone? jay. he's most definitely texting you about whatever it is he feigns needing help choosing, but he can't help it if your opinion is the only one that matters to him.

park sunghoon calls you every single night just so that he can fall asleep to your voice. in the beginning he asks you about your day, listening intently and asking follow up questions. he wants to hear your voice for as long as possible, especially when he went the whole day without talking to you. when you ask about his day, though, he gives you the most basic answer possible and moves the conversation back to you. and every morning, without fail, he claims that he didn't mean to fall asleep but your voice is way too soothing for your own good. you figure that he's not telling the full truth after you hear him say goodnight and he doesn't hang up the phone.
kim seonwoo takes more pictures of you than he does of himself. you swear when you caught a glipse of his gallery you saw an album named 'yn' that featured over seven thousand photos of you. which yes, you saw correctly, he has a very full folder full of pictutes of you. most of them aren't even good but he would rather die than delete the ten, nearly identical, photos of you laughing or the blurry video he got while you were ugly crying because of some movie. he also uses them to tease you—laughing when you tell him to delete it. yeah.. he's almost all out of storage, at this point he's going to buy a burner phone just for photos of you.
yang jungwon loves to texts you updates about his day. if you think jay texts you a lot, oh man, jungwon beats him by twenty miles. he'll tell you his plans who they're with, what he's planning on eating, the cute cat family he saw on the street (pictures included). this man tells you everything, every thought he has it feels like. honestly, he only bothers going out so that he has an excuse to text you, it makes him smile brightly at his phone when he sees your responses. when you start sending him updates about your day? he gets so happy, it's his favorite part of the day to hear from you now, nothing else could ever compare.
nishimura riki does not know what personal space is. he's always touching you in some way, even if it's subtle, like your shoulders pressing together when you're sitting on the couch, watching a movie. when you walk somewhere together, you have to push him away multiple times because he's practically on top of you with how close he is. when you're hanging out with friends, he tends to wrao an arm around your shoulder or lean his head against yours. your friends tease him for it, saying that he's practically apart of you now. he glares at them playfully, gripping your hand in his as he pulls you away (he just really wants to be alone with you).

(Warning: very long rant about growing up religious and aroace. Might delete this in an hour. Idk)
Dear mom and dad,
Do you remember when i was 14, and had my first kiss? You probably dont- for you, it was just another sunday. He was one of my only church friends, and he pulled me, alone, into one of the music rooms after sacrament meeting. You encouraged me to go with him, because you could read the signs i couldnt. He was very polite, but when we kissed and he grabbed my hand on the way out, it felt more wrong than anything id experienced before. I ran back to you, crying, and you walked me through rejecting him. You basically told me that i was just too young, that it would get better, but it certainly didnt feel that way at the time. Every time youve reminisced on it since, it was only to laugh at my expense. At my naievety.
I tried to take your words to heart. I tried to listen each time our church would preach about how essential families were and each time you told me how happy you two were. It didnt work.
Do you remember when i was 15, and i told you, mom, that adopting sounded way better than having biological kids? You got so offended, and i had no idea why. I still dont. You told me it was a natural part of life, that we were supposed to bring children into this world. I tried to explain my reasoning- why would i want my own children when there are those who are suffering on their own? When the thought of procreation made me sick?- but you dismissed it. It was just another day.
Do you remember the brief period when i was 15, when i dated a girl? I assume you dont, because you never found out. I lived in constant fear, because the comments you would make at the dinner table described lgbtq+ as an affront to God, as unnatural. I had thought that men were the problem, and she was my first real partner. But nothing changed, it still felt wrong, and we fell back into only being friends. I hadnt told you about that until today, because i knew exactly what youd say about it. I knew exactly what youd say about me.
Do you remember the boy i met when i was 16? The one with the curly hair and the kind smile. You were always pushing me toward him, because you saw how he looked at me (i saw, too- and i didnt like it). He took me to homecoming, and prom, and danced too close to me for my liking. You always asked if we were a thing yet- and when i said no, you smiled knowingly. I hated that smile. And you smiled that smile for years.
I reconnected with him when i was home over winter break. We hung out once, i told him my sexuality, and he barely reacted. When you asked how it went, i told you i rejected him romantically, but we were still friends. Do you remember what you said, mom? You said, "so you broke his heart and left." I cried that night.
Do you remember when you found my aroace pins a month ago? Im at college in a different state- a religious college you wanted me to go to- and you still made it your priority to berate me for it. I dont know if you could tell how angry i was over the phone, but when you said "asexual and things are just looking for attention", it broke my heart.
Because i figured it out when i was 17. Because it took me two years to finally accept it in a religion that very strongly emphasized the family unit. Because i finally felt accepted, i felt heard, i wasnt being dismissed at every corner. Because i had something to explain why i was like this.
Because i finally didnt feel broken.
I never doubted that you loved me- not once, ever, in my life. Not until you started degrading me for something i couldnt control. Not until you started pressuring me to date people i would much rather be friends with. If youre not going to love all of me, then do you even love me at all?
I hope you know that i still love you, despite everything. But i hate the way you talk to me now, the way you talk to others about me. And i hope that one day, you, too, will realize that im not broken, or affronting God, or unnatural. I hope you realize that im still your child.
I hope you realize im still human.

So I just woke up in a cold sweat remembering the single greatest fanfic ever written I try to look it up I learn the sight it was hosted on was taken down In I cry a little I go and look for the fic on other sites but don't remember it's full name go looking and find zilch look threw tumbler for two hours looking threw hashtags and things about only to find nothing and all I can think about is crying.
The fanfic in question was about dick Grayson if he never stopped being Robin like all his other siblings are still there but dick is still Robin. Ok basically goes like this Bruce adopts Jason, dick tells the story of flamebird and night wing to Jason so Jason becomes flame bird okay side tangent flame bird represent so much for Jason in this fic it's amazing like how he use flamebird and the Phoenix as symbolism to represent Jason destructive habits and rebirth. When Jason dies Tim becomes Nightwing In honor of Jason even though they never met is amazing.
Okay but the most important of this fic is when dick gives Damian Robin you see dick explain he wished Bruce made him give up Robin long ago because Robin was his security blanket like his mom, and dad where still with him. He explains how Robin is a crutch he needed as a kid something so his parents could still protect him even if they weren't their he give Damian Robin in hopes he feel the same safety. I think they touched on what happened after Bruce came back he goes to Jason who is red hood and ask to become flamebird and red Jason at the time said yes.

Yuji would be sitting on his couch watching a movie clearly more focused on it rather than the knocks on the door..
It's been exactly 5 minutes before Yuji finally noticed..he'd get up and make his way towards the door, as he opened it he was greeted with 3 familiar figures, gojo, nanami and yuki
"hii!! Do you guys need something?"
He'd say before welcoming the 3 of them with a smile as they sat on the couch with Yuji making his way and taking a seat in the middle,
Before he knew it all eyes were on him
"Soooo yuji im pretty sure you know what's going on we y/n right??"
Gojo would ask with Yuki following along
"and we were wondering if you could tell us what's going on with them"
"nuh uh I'm not telling, sukuna threatened me not to tell anyone.."
"awhhh cmonn If you tell us I'll help set you up with anyone you want"
Before gojo would finish, nanami would step in
"enough you two."
Both gojo and yuki would scoff and just stayed silent,
"as gojo said Yuji, we want to know more about sukunas and y/n's relationship, if that's fine with you of course,"

The 3 of them look at each other before looking back at Yuji, paying close attention to whatever he has to say

"sukuna and y/n known each other since elementary I think?..but anyways! Sukuna told me he liked her ever since they started talking apparently his reasoning is because she was kind and friendly to him while everyone else was scared of him"
"and then during third year highschool I think..? Sukuna and her grew closer, he was even planning on confessing after so long, so he planned it all out, getting her favorite flowers and putting it in her locker and even made a cute little note telling her to meet him somewhere, but he never said his name anddd he probably should've.. because when he got there"
"he saw y/n and some other guy and what's next made him absolutely furious, guess what.. he saw them kissed?! And then boom he dropped the gift he got for her and left, then apparently the next day y/n told him all about it, turns out the guy she kissed pretended he got her the flowers and gave the letter when in reality it was sukuna who gave it"
"and from then on sukuna was pissed that you believed it from that point on he started avoiding y/n and she probably thought he hated her for no absolute reason, and hear this..just a few months into y/n and that guys relationship the guy cheated on her, so like apparently sukuna saw her crying he really wanted to comfort her and confess that it was him who got her the flowers and the letter, but of course sukunas stubborn, instead he just scoffed and left"
"and apparently again y/n saw him and thought he was making fun of her from that point on they couldn't stand each other!"
"anyways that's it!"
When he finished he saw how shocked they looked
"SO YOUR TELLING ME THEY COULDVE BEEN IN A HAPPY RELATIONSHIP BY NOW IF IT WEREN'T FOR SOME MISUNDERSTANDING?!"
Yuki would yell out
"uh...yes...?"
With that all three of them thanked Yuji before stepping out the house

How do each of the Hashira react to one the 21 trio bawling their eyes out and inevitably making the other two cry, and who usually starts the crying chain reaction 😭
omg i love this ask. let me cook
they all kinda do the crying chain reaction, it really just depends on who is in baby mode at the time. obanai gets frightened, sanemi gets frustrated, and giyuu gets scared!
how they react…
gyomei: he tears up with them, but is always the one who can get them to calm down right away. he basically just scoops them up and cradles and hums a lullaby until the three settle down, and then he gives them lots of kisses and just sits with them for a while. hes very dad
tengen: five times out of ten he doesnt really know what to do aside from try to make them laugh. this always works for sanemi but its a pain trying to cheer obanai up without accidentally scaring him even more. he eventually learned he can distract them with the jewels on his headband or the paint on his nails. he will talk to them all the while and say stuff like “uncle tengen’s got you, so you have nothing to worry about!”
rengoku: insert several games of peekaboo and lots of hugs and kisses and tickles. each baby is different so he figures out different techniques for them. he loves the hug technique the most though!
he likes to ask what’s upsetting them; even if they cant exactly respond, he wants to show that he cares! he can usually decipher the baby babble and help them accordingly
mitsuri: LOTS OF KISSES. lots of coddling and cooing. “awwwh sweet babies its ok…!” she just bounces them and sings to them and gives them lots and lots of love. she showers them in compliments like “who’s the cutest baby! you are! yes you are!” sometimes her coddling just make giyuu and sanemi more hysterical. obanai likes the snuggles and how mitsuri talks
shinobu: she is a lot like gyomei in that she will just hum to them and rock them. she usually promises to do xyz for them if they settle down. she mainly focuses on getting them to breathe and settle down; she doesn’t want them getting sick… if she’s outside she’ll show them the pretty flowers and butterflies. if inside she grabs their stuffed animals and has them talk to the babies and dance for them
muichiro: “why are you crying” “what are you doing” “tomioka don’t join him” “okay well now you’re just being inconsiderate” … he’s super blunt while trying to cheer them up. “if you keep crying like that you will pass out” and etc . usually he looks for help because three crying babies is a lot
once hes more used to them and mellows out a bit he will do simple “shhh’s” and rock them, just like how gyomei taught him! obanai gets special treatment because he’s the favorite and most of the time he’s just scared, so muichiro understands (he was the same way when he was little) and he just holds him close and shields him

im thinking of a ceo!harry fic where yn is maybe his assistant, but she always thought he doesn't like her that much, bc he acts cold and rigid. and yn is in a serious relationship and she brings her bf to a company event or something where harry meets her bf and he is just as cold to him, if not even colder. anyway, not long later she gets engaged and when harry sees the ring on her finger he is like "to the guy you brought to the event?" and she is like blushing and so happy as she answers yes but harry looks very grumpy and displeased which she doesn't understand but she just shrugs it off.
the upcoming weeks they end up spending more time together, harry brings her on a business trip and they hang out outside of work, like having dinner and drinks and all that and he is finally less cold and she is actually digging this side of him, but then when they return and her bf picks her up from the airport harry is back to being icy and she doesn't gets it. then maybe its her birthday and her fiancé is out of town so she is not really feeling like celebrating until harry finds out and he basically pulls a whoel party together in just a few hours so she still feels special and she gets a bit drunk and confesses to him something along the lines of "for such a hot and rich guy, you can be such a rigid asshole" and he is actually liking how freely she is talking to him, bc nobody really dares to talk to him like that ever. harry takes her home when she had a lot to drink and she says something like "you know, if i wasn't engaged and you weren't my boss, i would go out with you" and he goes "the second part is not an issue. the first part... you should know that your fiancé..." but she falls asleep so he doesn't say a thing.
but then a few days later she receives a letter saying that her fiancé is full on cheating on her and there are pictures proving and she flips and throws him out and when she's at work harry asks if she is alright and she just starts crying and tells him what she found out about and harry takes her to a bar to let loose a bit and they end up getting cozy, dancing and talking like never before and then harry invites her over to his place and she tries to make a move on him but he is like "i will not let this go any further until you're over your ex" and she goes "it might take a long time" and harry goes "i don't care, i've been waiting for you for years" (basically since she's been working for him) and so she just sleep there at his place and nothing happens.
then in the morning he is out to get her breakfast and she wanders around his place and ends up in his study and finds a folder on his desk with her name on it and when she goes through it it's the pics of her ex cheating on her and there's a copy of the letter she got as well and when harry comes back he is like "let's just talk it out" but she is furious and like "how long have you known? did you hire someone to dig up shit about him? were you having me followed as well?" and harry admits he's had someone following her ex since he met him and e did want to dig up dirt about him but didn't think he would find out he was cheating.
she is mad and leaves and she is so confused, bc she literally just ended things with her ex and then everything happened with harry and now this, she doesn't know what to do. she spends a weekend isolated from everyone and then she goes to work on monday, determined to end the madness.
harry is there already and he begs her to talk and she agrees and he goes "i know that what i did was unethical, but i don't regret it, bc if I didn't do it you might have married a cheater" and she goes "why didn't you just tell me? why did you have to send me the evidence?" and he goes "would have you believed me? after what was going on between us do you think you wouldn't have thought i was just jealous?" and she realises he is right, bc she would have actually thought he was just trying to ruin her relationship.
so they make up and live happily ever after lol

you know that gavin likely hadn’t meant it in a rude manner when he let the words fall from his lips. his second beer sloshed in his hand as he leaned against the tall bar table and squinted his eyes at you, “what do you and fants even talk about? you’re so much older than him-”
and you don’t even hear the rest of his words from the sound of your heart thumping against your ribs. your ears start to ring at his observation, so much older than him.
truly, you weren’t. you were only twenty five compared to his twenty and while he was fresh off of his first year in the league, you were three years out of college with your own career and considering a masters in your field. now you knew that there were differences and you weren’t immune to the comments that had been made about your age difference ever since you were seen hanging off of his arm at the most recent cannon ball (comments that forced you to privatize all of your social media) but to hear the words coming straight from the lips of his friend, his former teammate?
you wish that adam wasn’t able to read you so well because mere moments after gavin is pulled away and shrink back into the wall, adam is striding over with a big grin on his face. he sets his drink down beside your own and gently throws his arms over your shoulder and it’s basically automatic for you to wrap yours around his waist, “well, y/n, does it live up to the hype?”
you hum quietly, not meeting his eyes. because you had focused your gaze on his chin, you witness in real time as his smile falls and you’re quick to straighten up, letting your eyes meet his confused gaze, “yeah, it’s great! i can see why you talk about it so much, mo.”
not even the use of his nickname causes his features to soften. he takes a step closer, gently bullying himself between your legs and swoops down so you can hear him over the music, “something’s wrong and you’re not telling me.”
“everything’s fine.”
“you were fine at the game. this is not you being fine,” his hands move up to rest on your cheeks, making sure that you’re meeting his gaze when he asks, “what did gavin say to you?”
you don’t have to question how he knows because somehow he always did. in the seven months you had been together, he was quick to figure out almost everything from what made you laugh, to what made you cry, to what caused you to completely shut down. you look up at the ceiling and tug at his flannel, trying to find the words to soften the blow that his friend was the one who had upset you, “he- he just asked what we talk about considering i’m so much older than you, but it’s fine-”
“i’ll kill him,” his gaze goes cold and his tone serious. when he goes to pull away, you’re quick to tug him back, “i don’t give a fuck who he is to me, he’s not allowed to say shit about us like that. especially after knowing you for, what? an hour?”
“you can’t hurt him, adam,” it’s your turn to raise your hand and thumb at his cheek, letting your finger run against the roughness of his beard, “he’s had a couple of drinks just let it go. besides, he’s not the only one that thinks it.”
“he can have ten beers and that still doesn’t give him the right. no one has the right to comment on us or our relationship,” he grumbles, “you know that i don’t care that you’re older than me, right?”
“but you could be with someone who still likes all of this,” you wave your hand around skeeps and his narrow once again, “not a girl who’s over the college bar phase of her life or staying out late or whatever. you could be with a twenty year old that’s more your speed.”
“i could be, but i’m not,” he insists, “i thought that we conquered this hill when we got together, baby.”
“it’s kind of hard to conquer it when you have to read about it at least once a day,” you frown.
“i don’t care what people say about you or me or us. our relationship is ours, they don’t get to put their two cents in just because it’s not logical to them, okay?” he looks at you for assurance that you were understanding his words and you provide him with a hesitant nod. he grins and leans forward to press his lips to yours, “besides, if they’re this upset when we’re dating, i can’t wait to see how mad they get when i marry you.”
you shove at his arm, “let’s get you out of a boot and off of an elc first, pretty boy.”

Arthur: The thing he adores most about you is how genuinely nice you are. You will help strangers who need it, look after stray cats, and listen to the gang member's problems. He just can't understand how someone so loving could want to be around him. He also believes that he is too bad for you to associate with, and that makes him feel guilty for even wanting you to be his.
Sean: Surprisingly, it's how blunt and stern you are. You will tell people how it is without beating around the bush, tell people off when they need to be, and take a lot of situations seriously. A leader; a strong willed woman. He likes this because when he gets you to laugh loudly, joke around and be playful, it's a big accomplishment for him. It makes him feel on top of the world, because he made you laugh.
Dutch: He loves how good you are at listening. Whenever he's had a plan that's gone bust, or just a terrible day in general, being able to come back and just let it all out. You will sit and nod, agree with what he's saying and console him, occasionally offering solutions which may help. He can't help but smile at your willingness to try to help and be there for him.
John: He loves a feisty woman. He may act like he doesn't like butting heads, but deep down he loves it. The way he can tease and jab at you, and you'll respond with even harsher jabs, sometimes a gentle slap to warn him that he's taking it too far, makes him grin like crazy. Keeps him on his toes, and majority of the time, it keeps him in check.
Jaiver: How you try to learn Spanish so you can sing along with him. He will just be singing by the campfire and he can hear you humming softly by his side with your eyes closed, and it makes him wish he could listen to it forever. Then one day, you tried speaking Spanish and he got so giddy and tried to help your pronunciation. He also wants to be able to talk crap about gang member's with you while sitting right next to them.
Charles: How you look after everyone in the gang. You learned how to sew wounds, help colds, and the herbs that aid with that; simply because you wanted to help people. The way you are soft with everyone, very calm talking, and well spoken makes him smile while he watches you converse with others.
Lenny: How you love to write and read. You get embarrassed when someone asks to read what you're writing, so he has sneakily gone through the pages, and loved how amazing your imagination is. He also asks you to read to him, finding your voice relaxing while he does basic tasks. If you're lucky, you'll take turns reading together.
Hosea: He loves how you can easily talk your way out of a situation. Your smart wits can get you out of any predicament, and they're always a hoot to watch. He loves to tell people around the campfire all the crazy adventures himself and you have gotten into because you talked yourself into them. He will suggest plans to Dutch so that he can see it unfold again and again.
Kieran: Your cooking skills make him want to cry every time; he thanks the heavens he gets to eat the food you make. Growing up, he always got plain or little things to eat, so when you heard that, you made sure to cook everything under the sun to make sure he was well fed. His eyes widen at every single plate you offer, he holds your hands and thanks you repeadtly, and smiles widely while eating the whole thing.
Josiah: It has to be your fashion sense. The way you can make any outfit look good blows him away, and he loves the little details you add. He makes sure to compliment you every time, "you look absolutely beautiful, my dear". He will also take you to the tailors himself just so he can watch your mind at work. It's an honor for him to have the chance to show you off in your outfits.

Saw some of the grossest parenting today in the bus

not me lying wide awake at 5:30am on a sunday on my day off bc after almost a full year I finally FINALLY realized the implication of the end of remember them from the cyclops saga
#that song has one of the most powerful ending crescendo sequences ive heard in maybe all of musical theater#so it. always felt incomplete after ALL that buildup during the I AM THE INFAMOOOUS#only to just drop to SILENCE. no music. no fanfare. just ODYSSEUS!#he doesnt even really sing it he just sort of... shouts it#and then its followed by the faintest sound of ocean waves#its poseidon. listening. not even funny how hard i was crying yesterday like jesus christ
