Javier Escuella headcanons

Has a problem with responding to things with a shrug even if he has an answer

If you’re a native English speaker he always looks to you for a word

Gets flustered if you flirt with him. Like he’ll playfully give you a compliment but if you give him one back he needs to give himself a moment

An absolute mess if you play with his hair. He groans and gets so embarrassed over it

Has both a resting bitch face and a resting confused face

Likes to play you songs but gets flustered about it

Cannot smile on command. It looks too awkward. He looks like a child posing for a photo

When he first flirts with you he’s loud. He’s overcompensating and it’s awkward but somehow charming

He’s so sweet when he apologizes he gets you some flowers and he gives you a sincere apology but if you ignore him anymore he nearly crumbles

Has fallen asleep while waiting for you in your tent

I feel like he sleeps with a leg up on his stomach kinda sprawled out

You can't tell me that Javier didn't felt that lonely in the whole chapter 6. Like, that man, came from Mexico to USA because he was running from his life and now the new family he had that not only welcomed him but also helped him to feel more integrated in the society is falling apart. His people is not only feeling insecure or lost about Dutch plans but also they ARE DYING.

Mac, Davey, Jenny, Hosea, Lenny, Sean... All of them are gone. And the ones who still reminds are not able to tell the good actions from the bad cause they are afraid from the Pinkertons.

I just hate how lonely Javier ends up been and how sad his story is.

When you sneak up on Arthur to kiss him on the cheek you nearly gave him a heart attack

Slightly blush appeared on his face

Poor baby is flustered and doesn't know what to do. Should he kiss you back or what?

"Uh- It's you- You sure suprised me baby"

Nervously rubbing back of his neck and avoiding eye contact before awkwardly kissing you back

It may not seem like it, but little cowboy was exploding from happiness on the inside

Arthur is just a pure mess, but a big sweetheart!

He sure loves you and appreciate everything you do (for him or to him)

It felt good to know that you're thinking about him and came up with this idea

Such small gestures meant a lot to him

In return he would give you something small, but from the heart

Not like he needs to proof you that he loves you, it's nothing like that

Charles is a gentleman and he wants to surprise you as well. He may not have the way with words or action, but quality time or precious gifts? Yup yup!

Also--he's curious if you will able to sneak up on him next time

Won't admit it, but he wants you to do it more often!
