If Sonic and eggy hadn't stumbled upon angel island, since he's only 16, he could have ended up spending up to a century completely alone or even longer depending on how Guardian Echidna lifespans work .😭

ohm y god i literally have so many episode ideas but i'll try not to repeat any of the ones i've made posts about (except my first bullet bc im so passionate about it) so i'll give you my big list. most if not all will likely be something i DO end up writing about in my own story because ehehe i love making them do things

ones i think i've mentioned before:

a returning to minnesota chapter!! not for anything but nostalgia, getting to see the guy's favorite places, seeing their friends and families, bringing them back to realize how far they'd come. not so shy spon for my fic but i wrote a chapter like this last month and it's probably one of my favorite things i've written to date. it let me explore some of the boys' past, family dynamics, a little bit about Katie and agh i can't believe btr didn't capitalize on that at least once. ik its expensive to fund sets and hire new actors but idk i imagine it like an hour special where they could afford to shell out a bit more. idc when it happens, could be after they sign their record contract or the last episode or whatever :)

originally i'd planned a "home alone lost in new york" like chapter for my story around thanksgiving where the boys are going to perform at the parade in town but they end up having their own adventure around the city beforehand. boyish antics, screaming gustavo, beautiful scenes, the works. i was just in too much of a slump to actually put it to paper :)

more tour-focused chapters (again, spon for my own fic lol) the episode in Canada was cute and the one on the bus was fun but idk there's just so many elements toward touring that i think they could've capitalized on; homesickness (for CA or MN), hardship of a go go go schedule, or fun things like being able to travel with your best friends and not ending up on the world's most wanted list lol. i know they tried really hard with this one so i don't blame them too much but my vision is just different and that's okay!

crossovers! while i'm so very happy dan schnider didn't have either of his disgusting hands in big time rush, i do remember watching the icarly/victorious crossover for the first time and wishing big time rush were there. it takes place in LA! the victorious kids are singers! carly, sam, and Freddie are pop culture experts! it would've worked really well :) so i'm writing that as a chapter for my fic LMAO

generally either an episode focusing in on or more scenes including james and lucy since the writers wanted them to be together so bad. inherently there's nothing wrong with them being together, but i do not think the relationship was given enough time to develop. give me lucy discovering her feelings for him, give me james not being creepy and obsessive about her; something more needed to be done on both of their parts to make me believe in it

additionally on that note more with jo/kendall and logan/camille; i love them both but they also had little development, just more than james/lucy. maybe they give carlos a gf (not alexa IMO, sorry. that got into weird territory for me idk why they made him be with a "real" person when he isn't other than they were already together irl) earlier and they can all have like conversations about their gfs and how much they love being together idk

and another generally, there were many songs btr put out that i love so much and feel like deserved their own episodes for hehe. i know not all of them have storylines easily transposed but i think they used confetti falling like four different times in the last season when any other love song from their third album could have been placed instead

and also another generally, and i know the early 2000s would've never allowed this for children's television but they should have and i'm the writer now!!!, but more representation all around. maybe some episodes about cultural heritage that didn't make stereotypes the main focus, canon LGBTQIA+ characters, holidays that aren't christmas, aspects like that where all kids can see themselves represented... LA is such a huge melting pot, it's not all white kids trying to make their dreams come true!

good god that was long SORRY AKJBSKJGBAB i have a lot to say and there's a lot im trying to incorporate into my story to add in what i think enhances the already present storyline. that's what's so beautiful about fandom, i love that we can have conversations like this :)

When things start to fail

SandRay edition

Yes, me again talking about SandRay as I’m their personal therapist good for me I guess. Disclaimer: I do not judge nor Sand or Ray, the most important thing to remember is that all of characters are young stupid insecure boys so everything happening makes a lot of sense. Also let’s remember that it is not about good/bad or right/wrong, it’s about complexity people and their relationships have.

So, this week they’ve reached an interesting point, haven’t they? The point when their mostly surprisingly good communications stars to fall apart. And it was inevitable. Nick and especially Boston don’t minding their own business certainly accelerated the process, but at some point it was going to happen anyway. Because the ultimate question “who are we to each other” been hanging over their heads for some time now and do my boys tried their best to avoid it. But let’s start from so-so good things.

SandRay day together. Ray goes for it like it’s an adventure, not someones real life experience. And of course he is - Ray lives in a different world and Sand’s hardships are not something he’s familiar with. @lurkingshan made a great post about how Ray constantly sees Sand as someone beneath him at well of course he is. And I love what @neuroticbookworm says here that Ray does it unintentionally - that’s just not something he ever experienced in his life. Ray is shamelessly rich and he was like this all his life. I would very surprised if he behaved differently.

That’s interesting tho - I think Ray sincerely enjoys every experience he has with Sand. And in some way he sees Sand as embodiment of freedom. For Ray a lot of it is about wind in a face, and listening new music, and laughing, and drinking, and kissing, and flirting and almost jerking off but no and not thinking about his real problems. For Sand it’s his life. It’s tough and exhausting, but still worth living.

Sand’s 24 hours. I truly appreciate Sand’s approach to life. He tells us that he has 24 hours in a day to work, sleep, being alone and - what I love about him - to dream. And I’m not saying that his life isn’t hard, it absolutely is. But despite that he still has some little things to enjoy. He dreams big. He makes beautiful breakfasts and knows places where to find good music. He has fun in a secondhand store. He finds his happiness in discovering new bands. He allows himself to get drunk and get high.

And I don’t think he never does any of it before Ray. But Ray is important, because Ray is someone he can share all this things with. And while Ray constantly being a bit jerk about that he is really into everything Sand gives to him (subtext here was unintentional but yes, sex is obviously a part of it too). And maybe Ray’s presence allows Sand to let himself go with a flow a bit more. Maybe Ray also symbolizes freedom for Sand.

And I believe that freedom is something both of them desperately need - Ray from his painful past, Sand from his exhausting present. And it all would be so good, it was mostly good for a lot of time, but. Hints were all there since the beginning.

Communication falling apart. So we see them generally enjoying each other. We see them being open and honest with each other. The whole scene where they discuss parents is about trust and vulnerability and it deserves its own post.

Very good-friends-behavior happening here. But also kind of not. And not only because them being ready to fuck each other on a constant basis. Which was hilarious by the way - three attempts to get nasty and all being ruined (1. Thank you Nick; 2. Sand being not so into public sex I guess I don’t believe him for a second he’s clearly into it but whatever; 3. Thank you Nick again and now you bring the whole drama with you good job). But all this cute boyfriends stuff happens left and right? Hugging and smiling on a ride?

Being so into each other that random girl said bye bless you?

Fucking serenade?

Like, guys, you’re not even trying. And they don’t talk about it at all. The last attempt to clarify their relationship was in episode 3 with Sand asking what kind of friends doesn’t stop kissing each other. And than they just. Moved on and never questioned it again?

They are the only couple (of the main three) in the show who doesn’t discuss their status. Even Nick and Boston do it! They are suck at it but it’s at least something. And it’s like Sand and Ray played a bit too much in going with a flow thing.

Sand tells this to his mom

And I get it, it really sucks. He is totally in love and his heart breaks a little bit twice in a row.

But it’s Sand who said that

So I feel for Sand and I am really sorry for him - my boy fell fast and hard but it’s not like Ray has any idea what Sand wants from him. Oh, wait, he has. Kind of. And he actually tries to make amends and clear the situation. Kind of.

It’s Sand this time who closes up, loosing to his fears and insecurities - and I would guess his last relationship has something to do with this. And of course Ray doesn’t push him into that conversation after one failed attempt. Because he is totally scared of ruining things. And it is so much easier to continue to pretend, for both of them, isn’t it?

It’s also smart thing to not having that conversation before they sober up but will they talk? I doubt it. Also is Ray ever sober, he has a serious problem, my poor boy. Him finishing two glasses of liquor in a row after fight was painful to watch. But I digress.

And the thing is - it isn’t even that tragic. Yes, Ray has feelings for Mew - he tries to move on, he doesn’t expect anything, but feelings (especially so long-lasted) doesn’t go away in a moment. And Ray has a right to falling for Sand while still falling out of Mew. Shit like this happens a lot in real life. It doesn’t mean Sand isn’t special to him only because someone else is.

And I kind of think that they would work it out somewhat fine. Not great, but fine. But here it is, our Boston card. Yes, I blame Boston, that’s my conclusion.

Conclusion. Judging by what we saw in trailer I’m gonna predict that this episode was a start for both Sand and Ray being miscommunication mess. Because both of them are falling for each other. And both are very scared of it.

This is not going to be easy. They will pretend they don’t care for each other and most importantly - that they have no expectations towards each other. They clearly have. We see it with Sand and the moment Sand decides fuck it I’m done we will see it with Ray.

This shit needs a lot of hard work. Will they be able to go for that? Do they even need it? I don’t know. Let’s hope that they will. Or at least that they won’t ruin each other totally over failed relationship.

You enjoy catching up on Earth music together, discovering all the new bands and Peter absolutely losing his mind over unlimited music streaming services

Gamora:

You’re delighted when Gamora comes back to the Ravagers, hugging her tightly upon her return

As badly as you feel for the Guardians who lost their version of Gamora, you’re excited for the adventures and memories you can build with this one

She really does have a sweet side when you get through the tough exterior, and you’ve become very close with her since she joined

She has quite the story to tell when she gets back too, and you listen intently as she recalls the craziness of the last few days

Nebula:

You stay with her to help rebuild Knowhere, and soon enough it starts to feel like a real home for not just you but also all the kids and creatures you adopted

You love seeing the softer side of her, and she’s a great leader as well

When a long day of work is done, you like to spend time together in her apartment or the main square, relaxing or having fun

You both finally feel like you’re able to have a somewhat normal life now, and you don’t want to ever let it go

Mantis:

Even when she’s on her own self discovery journey, she still visits you quite often on Knowhere

Eventually she asks you to come with her on some adventures, and of course you agree

She shows you some of the places she’s been and all the new things she’s discovered

You didn’t know it was possible, but somehow you love her even more now that she’s found herself

Drax:

It’s so fun to see Drax being a dad, finally doing what he lost all those years ago

You help him care for all the Star Children, helping them learn your language and trying to learn theirs as well

You like to make fun of him for dancing with them even though he’s been very adamant in the past that he doesn’t dance

You’re so glad that he stayed with you on Knowhere because he truly brings life to a place of destruction

Rocket:

You and Rocket have adopted all the baby raccoons as your own, giving them all the love they deserve and more

Neither of you have any idea how to actually raise raccoons, especially because these ones aren’t fully sentient like Rocket, but you do your best

They like to get into and destroy a lot of things in your apartment, and Rocket finally comes to understand the term “trash panda” after an incident with the garbage chute

Despite the chaos, though, you both enjoy the fact that you saved these babies from abuse, and you’ll never let them near harm ever again

Groot:

Groot really enjoys having you around as a constant when a lot of his family has dispersed around the universe

He knows you’re someone he can have fun with whether it’s on Knowhere or on a mission

You pick up on his language fairly quickly, and he likes that he can always talk to you

Adam Warlock:

It’s a bit weird at first becoming close with the guy who tried to destroy your home a little while ago, but you soon find out he’s a sweetheart deep down

He’s very eager to help and right his wrongs, whether that be helping rebuild Knowhere or helping the remaining Guardians on missions

He likes that you don’t mind that he’s a little strange sometimes and you never fault him for not understanding things about the world outside the Sovereign

He’s also very happy to have a new family with the Guardians and with you

sure thing! i actually have two tadc aus/stories rn, so i’ll just post some lore for both

sexyman descendants

all three of them are unfinished npcs created by caine, planned to be used in adventures (maybe as a ‘taking care of a fake baby’ exercise of some kind?), but he scrapped the idea of using them. instead, he placed them into a deep sleep and stored them away in one of the areas of the circus that would be inaccessible to the performers.

the three of them ended up waking up from that sleep too early though, and spent the rest of their time trying to escape from “the storage room” and (believing themselves to be performers) practicing their performances.

they eventually escaped storage, and briefly lived with the rest of the performers. it wasn’t a great arrangement, though— because jax and poppi had no idea how to raise the kids that were basically just dropped in their laps, and abel was too similar to caine, seeing him as competition for the role of ringmaster.

abel eventually led poppi and jj out on an “adventure” of their own, seeking to prove to cain that they deserve to be ringmaster more than he does— only for their unfinished programming to cause them to noclip out of the circus and into tumblr high.

they now basically live at school, trying wacky schemes to return to the digital world and doing their best to adjust to their new environment.

jj is regularly on the receiving end of slapstick, especially within abel’s performances. he always bounces back right after, but he quickly learned to hate the life of a performer and is enjoying/adjusting to the real world far more than the other two.

poppi has basically zero concept of personal space, and will physically cling to people if she’s excited/scared/upset— which does not mesh well with pomni.

abel takes school talent shows very seriously, seeing them as their chance to prove themself/their troupe as performers. it’s gotten to the point where poppi and jj actively hide when tryouts for talent shows start.

i’m thinking this au takes place in the 90s, since that would match up with the model of computer monitor shown in the pilot (and tadc is based on 90s kid’s games).

i haven’t fully decided how she manages to escape tbh? i’m leaning toward the idea of it being a lucky accident/pure chance though, since it adds more dramatic tension when it comes to the question of “should she try and go back for the others”

the other performers/npcs are still in the circus! from their perspective, pomni didn’t show up for an adventure one day, leading to caine making “find pomni” the new adventure for the day… but when none of the performers could find her and caine (secretly) checked the void/the areas inaccessible to the performers and still didn’t find her, that’s when everyone freaked out

caine’s pretty upset over pomni��s disappearance, not only because he’s worried she got hurt/lost outside of the circus, but also because he genuinely doesn’t understand why she’d want to leave. the other performer’s reactions range from worrying abt her to just being angry that she didn’t take anyone with her and seemingly isn’t coming back for them.

on pomni’s side of things, she’s just trying to adjust to life outside the circus the best she can. it’s a pretty difficult task though, and she regularly struggles with the trauma/feelings of survivor’s guilt from her time in the circus.

she’s very conflicted on if she should try and go back to save the other performers. because yeah, it’s the morally right thing to do and they don’t deserve to be trapped there, but she’d really rather forget about the circus forever and there’s no guarantee that she’d be able to recreate the circumstances that let her escape for all of them (plus there’s always the risk that she’ll just get stuck there again).

aside from job-hunting, she’s been keeping tabs in news about the c&a company to try and find her human identity— specifically after finding news about a string of employee disappearances. she hasn’t been able to find much yet because of the legal red tape surrounding the case, though.

Novel Rec: Cherry Blossoms Upon a Wintry Sword

I’ll be honest. I picked this up because a lot of the comments were saying the dynamic reminded them of Dianxia and Hua Cheng. So as someone who is absolutely in love with the novel TGCF and the characters— I had to see what this is. Plus the fact that it wasn’t long gave me the push to start reading it. I was pleasantly surprised by all the things this story gave me. This is exactly the kind of story that made me fall in love with reading in the first place. Why I continue to do so because I know there is one out there that’s just waiting to be discovered, enjoyed and appreciated.

I can see why people compared the pairing in TGCF and this but I have to say that Lin Rufei and Gu Xuandu have their own unique story. It’s beautiful and tragic. I think this kind of theme is common to novels in this genre and that’s why we enjoy it.

I’ll try to keep spoilers to a minimum and just mention general themes and warnings. ❎

It starts off fairytale/storybook-esque and I was intrigued. The translator did a very good job in telling the story because it came off almost whimsical at some point. If you like that kind of tone then you will like this. It’s about a weak prince living up in the mountains with his brothers who love him very much and protect him. He looks out from his window, seeing the Cherry Blossom tree he’s very fond of and he hopes it blooms. One day, a mysterious ghost appears before him and the two set off on an adventure. It’s a solid premise and you can sense there is some mystery and secret identity going on between the two.

Not even halfway in, I already had questions:

1.) Why Gu Xuandu is a ghost and only makes himself appear before Lin Rufei. Will he get stronger and have a corporeal body at some point or is he really from another world.

2. ) What is LRF’s power. It looks like he wasn’t weak to begin with and how can he regain it.

3. ) Past relationship between LRF & GXD.

4. ) Who is the Heavenly Ruler.

Aside from that mystery and the relationship between the MC & ML, I’m so impressed with how well written the side characters are. I normally don’t get attached to side-plots and all but this one flowed well. Even if it lasts for like 4-5 chapters, it feels enough. There is one that just left me so heartbroken and I still think about it sometimes— that’s how good it is. I’ve said it’s like a fairytale but it’s not the type that’s for kids. If you usually read novels like this then I think you have a higher tolerance for dark themes. But if you are new to this then be careful. There are no warnings per chapter so yeah. Tho I have say the unpleasant parts of it are not just there for the shock factor.

There is one ‘plot’ here towards the end that I wish was long, even just 4 chapters maybe so I can see how they did a certain task. I would love to read more about LRF & GXD’s journey on that. This is because GXD is a “ghost” character here he doesn’t appear as much as a normal ML would so I wanted more of him.

The relationship between Lin Rufei x Gu Xuandu reminds me of pairings i love like Hualian, and maybe, this is why people compare them. It’s a love that waits. A love that knows sacrifice. It transcends. Towards the last few chapters I wanted to cry because I want them to be happy. They deserve it so much. Their dynamic is also lovely especially when GXD teases LRF.

So there, I hope this story gets more readers because it’s truly a special one. 🌸

Dream (Morpheus) X Male-Reader – Sleepless Prisoner - Chapter 3 - Recovering From Isolation

Although you were free for the first time in a century, you still felt terribly alone in the dilapidated realm Morpheus had taken you to. Granted, you now knew Lucienne and Matthew but neither of them was around to converse with you. Lucienne was busy maintaining the Dreaming and could not be disturbed, and Matthew was by Dream’s side as he should be, though he occasionally returned to pass messages on to Lucienne. Without knowing anybody else, you missed your only friend, if you could call Dream that. Before, you had an inkling of what he was, but there was so much more to him than you thought. Did Endless need friends? Did he desire them?

Ultimately, you decided that he likely didn’t value you in the same manner that you did him, but if he had brought you to his realm then he must at least trust you in some manner. You hoped it was for friendship but without the opportunity to talk to Dream, you wouldn’t know.

There were other things you wished to speak about with him as well, such as what he had done with your family. It wasn’t that they deserved redemption for what they had done, but you would like to think that they hadn’t suffered for their actions. An eye for an eye left the world blind, and although revenge was hardly uncommon, you didn’t see much point to it; it only led to more suffering than was necessary.

You also wondered just how much the world had changed since you had been kept away from it, and if Dream would return you to it. You hoped that he wouldn’t; it wasn’t so much that you wished to stay in the Dreaming, but rather, you were afraid of what the world might have become. Such cowardice might have shamed other people, but you knew who you were, and admitting to your fears seemed the only reasonable thing to do. You were scared and you didn’t want to leave the one person you knew, even if you didn’t really know him at all; he was all you had left now.

Yet, while Dream was away, you supposed that you should do something. Although you were also scared of what you might find in the dilapidated realm, you felt that there was nothing else for you to do but explore. You weren’t usually the sort for exploring or adventuring but if this was to be your home, then you felt that you should at least look around; besides, being alone was awful, but being alone whilst moving and taking in new scenery was marginally better.

You set off from your position in Morpheus’ throne room, where Lucienne had left you before rushing off to attend to more important matters. It would have been wonderful to say that you were awed by the magical sights of the Dreaming, or that you discovered a great many things on your journey. However, Dream was still only at a fraction of his power and had yet to recover his artefacts. As such, Dreams and Nightmares alike were missing, everything in the realm was in shambles, there were entire locations that were simply Empty… Like something had been there once, but now there was only Nothing. It was as if some areas had once been grand portraits, which had been painted over entirely in white; the real painting was underneath waiting to be restored, but Dream was an artist without his tools, despairing till he could fulfil his purpose and restore what once was.

So, on you marched through the Nothingness, skirting past the rubble and avoiding the blank spaces. The Dream realm held itself together, using the flagging vestiges of Dream’s power, some of the gaps filled in by the imaginations of those who still had hope. It was run by children wishing for Santa Clause, writers thinking of new novels, daydreamers who wished for a better world to escape to, and desperate souls who had nothing left except for dreams.

Eventually, you found that you were entirely lost. You couldn’t go back the way you came to reach the Palace, for that way was gone, having shifted into a different location. It made sense that such a thing should happen. After all, the human mind was always shifting, changing, and evolving; why wouldn’t Dream be any different? The realm was him and he was it; henceforth, it would likely evolve, changing where things were and adapting into something new, though you supposed that in his current state, Dream wouldn’t be adding anything new until he got his tools back and that the different location behind you was something that had been in the Dreaming for a long time and had opted to move of its own volition… if places could do such a thing.

You stopped your walk, feeling that you might be going quite mad if you were already concluding that a place could not only have free will but also move. Besides, you weren’t sure where you wanted to go next. Without knowing your way back to the castle, either direction would have been a safe bet, but the problem was that you didn’t feel safe.

Behind you, there was a dark forest with eerie trees that looked like eager hands hoping to get their claws into you. The trees, though leafless, had a covering of lichen that promised to rub up against you, soaking you to the bone and scaring you when you least expected it. On the other hand, if you went in the opposite direction, you were faced with a cemetery full of graves. No two graves were fully identical, but they all looked similar as if the wooden crosses had all been crafted by the same person.

After 100 years, Death should probably not have scared you so, but since you had been robbed of your regular life, it terrified you. You almost opted to try your chances with the forest, until you heard the welcoming call of a creature that had spotted you. It didn’t take you long to spot the thing, tiny though it was, for it was the only splash of welcoming colour within the cemetery, sat next to a grave and wagging its tail as it looked at you, inviting you to play.

It had golden, scaly flesh, a bulbous head that it had yet to grow into, large black eyes that sought friendship, and wings that protruded from its back. Your first assumption was that you had found a baby dragon, and without anyone to tell you otherwise, you stuck to that assumption.

“Hello,” You proffered, taking a few tentative steps forward, careful to avoid the masses of graves.

When it seemed apparent that the creature wasn’t a nightmare in disguise, nor was it lost, awaiting rescue from a bigger, stronger counterpart, you felt a little more at ease.

The creature chirped happily at you, holding up its arms and then falling backwards, a victim to its young age and rotund belly, both of which saw it unbalanced.

“What are you doing out here alone?” You asked, a smile tugging at your lips as you bent down to greet the creature.

It vocalised again, evidently unable to speak in your language, but eager to see you all the same.

“Yeah, I suppose that I’m alone too. The thing is, I don’t know anyone here, and well… I suppose that makes me quite a lonely person. In fact, you’re only the fourth being that I’ve talked to in just under a century, and that’s saying something because you’re a dragon.”

For a moment, you were at ease in the cemetery, speaking with a creature you had only just met, however, that moment was short-lived. You screamed as an arm plunged through the earth from the grave that the creature had been guarding. You scrambled up, tripping over immediately in your panic. You tried desperately to recover, your breath coming out in rapid pants that didn’t serve you well until, slowly, a bespectacled man dragged himself out of the grave.

He shook himself off and then regarded you with a warm smile.

“Hello,” He greeted you, offering his hand to help you up.

Your hand shook violently in his grip as the shock coursed through you.

“I didn’t mean to frighten you,” He said amiably. “I was just digging my way out and I heard you talking to my friend Goldie here. He’s a gargoyle.”

Goldie chirped and the man looked down warmly at his adopted friend.

“I’m Abel. Nice to meet you, ah…”

“(Y/N),” You stammered your name in response, slowly recovering from the shock.

“I see. You look pale, (Y/N). Would you like to come to The House of Secrets for some tea? Me and Goldie would love to have you.”

“I- I suppose so,” You replied, finding no end to the strangeness of the meeting.

“That’s wonderful news. I miss having friends over for tea, but when Lord Morpheus went away, so did all the Dreams. This way, we’ll both get some company, and you can even meet my brother, Cain.”

“Cain? You’re Cain and Abel?”

“Yes,” Abel smiled patiently at you. “We’re the first story,” He proclaimed proudly.

And with that, Abel began walking, leading the way to his home. Despite the odd meeting with someone you had known your whole life yet had never met, you felt that going with him was a good idea. For the first time in a century, you were recovering from isolation.

Thursday Thoughts: Legacy, Parenting, and Strange World

There’s a lot going on in Disney’s Strange World. There’s the straightforward family adventure that Disney is undeniably well-practiced at crafting. There’s the explicitly stated (and stated, and re-stated) message about how parents and children can be more similar than they’d like to admit. There’s the environmentalist message, with the three generations of Clade men respectively representing three different approaches to “man vs. nature” – conquering it, using it as a resource, and living harmoniously with it.

The point is, I could write multiple blog posts about this movie.

For now, I’m going to focus on the motif of legacy in Strange World, and how the definition of legacy shifts over the course of the film.

If you haven’t seen Strange World yet – what are you waiting for? It’s on Disney+. Go watch it. Or keep reading, if you don’t mind spoilers. Sometimes a spoiler is what makes you want to see a movie.

If you haven’t seen Strange World but you’re reading this anyway, then the main thing you need to know is that this movie centers on a family. Jaeger Clade, the grandfather, is an explorer who dreams of crossing the mountains and discovering what’s on the other side – to the point where he abandoned his son, Searcher, to continue pursuing this dream. Searcher Clade, the father, is a farmer who discovered a power-producing plant, pando, that brought his community into the modern era – and he puts a lot of pressure on his son, Ethan, to follow in his footsteps as a farmer. Ethan Clade, the son/grandson, is basically happy with his life on the farm, but has a love of adventure that makes Searcher nervous.

Jaeger uses the word “legacy” is a lot. According to him, the Clade family legacy is to reach the other side of the mountains. Legacy is a common adventure-movie kind of word. However, it’s not as simple a concept as Jaeger seems to believe, and Strange World devotes a lot of time to subtly exploring the different definitions of legacy.

Definitionally, a legacy is a long-lasting impact – what you leave behind, your footprint on the world. In the adventure movies that Strange World calls back to, a legacy is something explosive, an enormous accomplishment out in the uncharted wilderness that nobody has ever done before and that people will tell stories about forever. That’s what Jaeger is looking for – the glorious adventure that will earn him a statue in the town square and the acclaim of the world forever. That, for him, is “legacy.” And until he has that, he genuinely doesn’t believe that he’s accomplished anything worthwhile.

Searcher also talks about legacy, but when he uses the word, he’s referring to something different. Instead of going out past the mountains like his father, Searcher focused on changing the world where he was. Discovering pando was not a huge, explosive adventure, but it still had a long-lasting impact. Avalonia went from horse-and-buggy travel to massive airships in just two decades! Jaeger may scoff at the idea that a farmer would deserve a statue, but Searcher’s accomplishment has a legacy, and he’s proud of that legacy.

When Jaeger and Searcher have a heart-to-heart about midway through the movie, it turns out that their drastically different ideas about legacy have an identical root – parenthood. Both men want to do something that their children will be proud of. They want to accomplish something that their children will want to live up to.

But as the film nears its climax, a new definition of legacy emerges. Searcher realizes that he can’t force Ethan to want to live the same life as him – he can’t demand that his child live up to his legacy. Immediately after he has this epiphany, Searcher and Ethan discover that pando is literally killing the world. If Searcher wants there to even be a world for Ethan to live in, he’ll have to destroy his greatest accomplishment. And he confronts this reality without hesitation. Jaeger, however, takes more time to come around.

“You want to talk about legacy?” Searcher says to Jaeger. “I’m about to destroy mine. For my son. Something you could never do.”

“Oh, right,” Jaeger scoffs. “Because I’m a horrible father.”

“Yeah!” says Searcher. “But you didn’t have to be!”

Here, Searcher demonstrates that he has realized something vital about both legacy and parenthood. According to Strange World, legacy is about creating a world that your kids can live in, even if it means you don’t get what you want. Even if it means you have to sacrifice something valuable or completely change your view of reality.

Strange World presents the idea that while a parent needs to make decisions for their child when they are young, especially regarding their safety, there’s another part to parenthood. There comes a time where a parent must decide to give up on the idea they had for their kid’s future, and help the kid achieve the future that they’ve discovered for themself. By the end of the movie, both Searcher and Jaeger have given up their previous definitions of legacy. Each view their children as their true legacy, and Ethan looks up to both father and grandfather as the inspiration he needs to change his future for the better. That’s the real long-lasting impact we see in the film. That’s the real legacy.

My personal One Piece hill I will die on (until proven otherwise / series ends) is

Gold D. Roger was lying (Sort of)

As it is the man had nothing to lose, had he laid low and not turned himself in, he was terminally ill anyway and doesn't sound like would have had that long left to live anyway, so he chooses to go out on his terms and make a show of it, using what the Marines / World Government hoped to be a show of force to get people to obey and stop piracy and instead with his final words Rogers is able to initiate a whole new era of pirates instead- and overall just stir up a whole lot of trouble.

Which regardless of if his words are true or not I can still see as being as reason enough to choose to say what he said just to stir things up.

Now sure after a long history of his travels and piracy he more then likely did amass quite a large fortune in both physical and non physical wealth, but out side of a dying man's words no one knows what became of it - say maybe those left who were part of his crew but even that's no guarantee.

Truth or Lie there are so many ways one could interpret what he said beyond the face value assumption most seem to in the series:

He's not lying about his treasure being out there to be found however he didn't actually leave it in one place and is really just scattered all over- basically people could be carrying / finding treasure that was once his and not even know it. Or while true that it is all in one place, that one place is right at the bottom of the Ocean somewhere- which if anyone can find and retrieve that then they certainly deserve it.

Personally however I'm in the boat that he was lying or at least his words should be taken with a grain of salt.

Aside from anything told from those who knew him most things we here about Rogers seem more like rumours or myth, stories that no one actually knows if they're true or not. So perhaps even his own legend of the vast wealth he acquired over the years has been exaggerated. I don't doubt that at one point he may have acquired quite a sizable amount of gold but nothing to say he still had any of it by the end when he turned himself in, leaving either nothing to be found (Which technically would still make what he said true- you find nothing you have nothing) or maybe just a small amount of whatever he had left.

Second thing to consider- he said he left it 'all in one place' that still leaves a lot to interpretation. Assuming there is a (physical) treasure to be found everyone searching clearly seems to take the 'One Place' and assume Rogers means it has to be all together only one specific area, but that 'One place' could easily mean something as vast as say The Grand Line itself with his treasure now scattered through out. Perhaps it's at the bottom of the sea.

Or going with the overall themes the show frequently seems to bring up and what I rather like and agree with, there is no treasure at least not physically speaking. While maybe his words were used to drum up trouble, they also served to spark a fire in those seeking more then just treasure but adventure.

The true treasure that he found and wanted/wants others to now discover is the adventure, in a very cliche silly -if appropriately Shounen kinda way- it's the friends you find, in those bonds and memories one makes where the real treasure lies and are more important then any amount of wealth or power.

Which depending on ones view point could leave what he said seeming like a lie.

I had other matches in mind at first but eventually I came to the conclusion that you and Tigh would make a lovely pair that would have so many new things to discover after meeting each other!

I wouldn't call it a dramadic change of world-views but I think you would begin to open your eyes to new possibilities that you couldn't see before.

What makes this really precious is that you are both the 'mom' friends: caring, knowledgeable and always seeking to help those around you. You have this natural connection of wanting to preserve and care for what's most important to you.

It's your optimism and open emotions that shine light on Tighnari's world though. His own way of working often being clear-cut and sometimes too rational, he finds your more easy-going nature strange but lovable ♡

He is not as short-tempered as people make him out to be but he can be rather strict. The rain-forest is a dangerous place after all and it's his responsibility to ensure no one gets themselves poisoned by strange plants or surrounded by fierce fungi.

However, you remind him a more lenient approach to people can help them grow more at times than a heavy lecture session. You've become like this tiny voice at the back of his head to call him out when he's going overboard heheh.

He finds it admirable that people are drawn to you thanks to how reserved and reliable you are, but how you also make them feel right at home with your goofy side.

His heart probably skips a beat or two as he watches you interact with other rangers or adventurers . . .

You can rest assured Tighnari will be there to help you work through and organise everything you need. If he cannot be there with you right away, he leaves sweet notes on your table with some reminders and a cup of coffee ♡

Praises and compliments you on your good job afterwards and makes your favourite spicy dish — you've worked so hard and deserve it!

Even without those huge fluffy ears of his Tighnari could listen to you for hours on end. It's not only that he loves hearing all what you have to say but also your voice is so melodious to his ears. It relieves all the pent up stress work as a forest ranger has brought him.

Might even fall asleep on rare cases if he's exhausted and you're telling him a story or singing by the wreath late at night. But again, that's because your voice is like honey to him.

If you want, he'll also offer solid advice on whatever is troubling you. As an alternative, you can just pet his tail and ears to relax, as long as it makes you feel better (◍ ´꒳` ◍) It's a soothing feeling for Tighnari as well so cuddle with him all you want with the time you have.

May I add that if anyone tries to interrupt while you're talking with Tigh around, they won't be let off easy. Luckier ones might be spared with a mere piercing glare but ain't anyone going to cut you off if Tighnari can cut off their tongue.

You're an intelligent, peaceful couple that's always out to learn more yet know the boundaries when it comes to acquiring wisdom. Tighnari still doesn't know how he came to be lucky enough to have met you but he's grateful he did!

♡ 𝑴𝑬𝑬𝑻𝑰𝑵𝑮

As part of the Adventurers' guild international investigation team, you were sent to Gandharva Ville in Sumeru to assess the situation after the withering had been seemingly taken care of on most part.

Tighnari was the one who showed you around the ville and helped you get acquainted with everyone, though it took no time at all before you had assimilated right into the cozy community.

He found you to be very respectable in your field and as a person who adapted so well with your surroundings. Though because you weren't from around the area, the dangers you might get into often worried him.

But you were capable and showed him you weren't naiive enough to go forming "inter-species friendships" with random crocs.

Like most, you initially saw Tighnari as a loner, more fixed on work than creating relationships, but a coincidental lunch together on one sunny afternoon made you change your perspective. He was funny and considerate, offering you a bite of his lunch that looked so unfamiliar to you.

It was also the first time he saw how many emotions you actually carried with you yet how your positive attitude rarely dimmed.

You swung your feet leisurely on the branch you were sitting and the time flew by as you talked. By the time reality caught up, you realised you had to get back to work, you both having your own research to attend to.

After days like these kept repeating themselves, you thought maybe it would not hurt to prolong your stay by a bit more . . . or maybe by a lot.

♡ 𝑩𝑳𝑼𝑹𝑩𝑺

Since fennec foxes mate for life, it definitely took Tighnari a while to realise his feelings and process them. But once he knew, it was set in stone it had to be you.

He always plans the perfect picnic dates for you in the Avidya forest! He knows the safest, most peaceful spots too so you don't need to worry about running into any trouble.

You prepare something yummy together before heading off, and the walk to the area is pleasant, birdsong and other sounds of nature making you feel like you could rest under a tree there for a week.

Tighnari, however, quickly reminds you that the rain-forest weather is way too fickle for such a vacation so you have to pout at him.

"I was just joking."

"I know, but if you ever come out here for a longer time, you need to let me know, all right?"

Worrying intensifies, he's a protective boy

Although he prefers more intimate dates where you two can be alone, he'll agree to go to the city for some tavern and café delicacies. The noise of the bustling urban life is bearable when he's together with you.

He can focus only on your date and nothing else. Just make sure to steer clear of anything related to the Akademiya to keep your visit enjoyable and leisurely.

While you're at it, Tighnari takes you on a stroll through the gardens of Pradis Dhyai. Even if you don't know much about botany, the fact that you listen to his endless and complicated talks about his passion is more than enough ♡︎

If you ever later point out a plant that he taught you though he can't help the smile that spreads across his face. Might be a bit shy to show it and says it's natural that you remember something like that, but the tail and ears don't lie bro.

Your skills in photography never cease to impress him. He often asks if you could take a few pictures for his research topic, for fair a reward, of course. He keeps all the photos you've given him either in his research notes or on his room wall where he can admire them.

Collei asks you for some tips about it too!

You're the unofficial caretaker of the doggy squad in the ville, just so you know.

Makes bookmarks and dividers for you out of the most beautiful flowers and leaves he can find ♡ It makes his tail swish back and forth seeing you using them for your reading, calendar or anything really.

Also he has made special essential olis to fit your hair-type so it would stay in top condition even in the rainforest climate!

So even though you say you're pleased easily, Tighnari does not cut corners when it comes to showing you how dear you are to him.

𑁍 𝑱𝑬𝑾𝑬𝑳𝑳𝑬𝑹𝒀 𝑩𝑶𝑿

When you passive-aggressively sent away a bunch of pesky researchers who didn't know what no meant. For Tighnari it was a common occurrence that students and graduates alike would come to ask him to collab with them on their projects. But this time it irritated him enough to want to jump out of the bed where he was supposed to be resting—those particular people now also wanted to bring you into their dangerous experiments. Unlike Tighnari who would have brutally told they had better chances asking a stumperbeast, you had another, more discreet way with words but which nevertheless sent the group on their way shaking. You were most mad they had kept insisting even though you told them Tighnari was down with a fever. When you came back inside, your lover was laughing with flushed cheeks, head-over-heels in love with you.

For Tigh it doesn't matter much as long as he gets to be close to you, so he loves taking his time to kiss your knuckles, your shoulders, your neck. He's either very playful or very sentational and sweet about it but I'd say it's a win either way :3c

— favourite nicknames to call you by

'Honey' and 'darling'. Plus sassy inside jokes, sweet terms of endearments, especially after flowers and fruits. Sometimes these confuse even yourself but Tighnari simply claims it is combining his favourite things in the world if you know what I mean.

— Putting the other's feelings above your own isn't always the best choice, especially if you are not sure of what those feelings truly are. So is the saying 'if you love them, let them go' really as wise as they say?

— "I see. You should go."

— These were the words you heard Tighnari say when you told him you had been called back to the Adventurers' Guild headquarters in Shneznaya. With a straight face and a firm nod of his head, he was willing to let you go just like that.

— You were just about to add that maybe you could ask for another position in the guild that would allow you to stay in Gandharva ville. It was, after all, a place you had grown so fond of. A place you had made so many new friends. The place you'd found Tighnari.

— "Are you sure?"

— Another immediate answer. "We'll see each other again. Besides, I don't want to stand in the way of you following your dreams."

— "But do you want me to stay?"

— Tighnari looked at you like he had never before, as though he had hoped you wouldn't ask him that. His long ears sank closer to his head but his gaze still remained fixed on you. Silence will the air between you while you tried to comprehend why did he suddenly look like the one who was hurt.

— This time, you were the one to nod your head, the bitter feeling from the wordlessly answered question only showing themselves through the tears that threatened to escape your eyes. Before they could, you rushed out of the room and into the cool night.

— If he couldn't even say he wanted you to stay then what was the point of you pleading for the guild's permission. How could've someone who knew you almost better than yourself not understand that your happiness was not out there but here, with him, in your home.

— You might as well set off tonight. Or at least spend the night in the city. Not here. Anywhere but here.

— Yet not even at the borders of the sleepy village did the weight of the unsaid words became any easier to carry. Tighnari's feet carried him like the wind but his heart was heavy as lead. His throat burned and his eyes searched for any signs of you, his ears picking up the slightest shuffle and his nose hoping to catch a whiff of your familiar scent.

— For the first time in his life he wished he had wisdom beyond his power. Wisdom to have pushed aside his hurtful reasoning, wisdom to find you admist the darkness, wisdom to turn back time.

— "Ai . . ." Breathlessly he would hug you close to his chest so you could feel his racing heart. His arms would wrap around you selfishly, tightly. "I'm sorry. I want you to stay. Don't go."

— But will you be gone by then?

Female John Wick except with dragon magic set in contemporary San Francisco’s Chinatown? HELL YEAH. Emiko Soong is part of one of the eight premier magical families of the world, but unlike many others she isn’t that gifted with magic but rather blades. She became the Blade of the Soong Clan, or rather... she is known as the Butcher of Beijing before she moved to San Francisco. But Emiko is done with that life, she left her clan and broke her blade in an attempt to retire and finally get away from the killing... but when a Talon ( think of it like a blood oath marker that essentially is a debt- once called upon must be answered), is activated and she goes to answer it to save her younger brother who is the heir to the clan from having to deal with it... things are about to get bloody. To her shock Emiko discovers that her mother has given a Talon to a shinigami, a god of death.... and now Emiko finds herself being tasked with finding the Ebony Gate... a doorway that holds back the hungry ghosts of the Yomi Underworld and if she can’t retrieve it she will have to forfeit her soul as the anchor instead. Finding this door is going to be harder than ever and it means that Emiko has to go back to her past career as the Blade and not only try and make new allies but uncover the new enemies who are after the door as well. With her blades, her pet lion, and a ticking clock, Emiko will have to slash her way to uncovering the truth behind why her mother owes a Talon to a Shinigami and what Emiko wants to do with her future. This is the first book in a series and WHAT A RIDE!!! It was non stop action, adventure, and I absolutely adored Emiko so much and BAO!!! (he deserves all the scratches and treats).  I am so excited to see what the next two books bring and where Emiko’s relationship with certain individuals in this book goes, you get to see her open herself up to others and friendship in this book and it was wonderful. The quest was a fun one and the world setting was so interesting!! Definitely give this one a go if you like action fantasy with a bit of a twist and a contemporary setting!

*SPOILER*

Emiko becomes the Sentinal of the city, leaving behind her life as the Blade. She is now coursing with magic from the city. She discovers that her mother made the talon trade to save Emi and her father when she walked into the underworld and the death god brought her back. Emiko also faces her ex, Kamon, a tiger shifter who she broke it off with when she also quite her life as a Blade. They work together in this one and she assumes that he has moved on and is dating Fiona, the next in line as the clan head of the Tran Clan. It is shown that he still really cares and worries about her but she thinks she is not good enough for him and not what he would want as opposed to what Fiona could give him.  Emiko also befriends Freddy ( Fiona’s brother) and Adam ( a human collector who is now protected and claimed under the Soong clan by Emiko). It is hinted that Emiko has a secret Gao ( magic gift) that could destroy the clans if it gets out but we dont find out for sure. Emiko finds out that the Louie clan stole the Ebony Gate and tried to make a power grab and they are also close to having a feud with the Tran clan which will probably occur in the next book.

Games I Played in 2023

1. Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

I loooooooooovvvvvveeed this game, lol. And maybe it was because I played BoTW last year, but it was so nice to hop back into a new adventure in Hyrule where the settings and the world were familiar, but also so different, it was great. It also was cool to see all the characters grow and where they were at in their lives. I mean when you start off annoyed at seeing Addison, but then when you find him randomly late in the game, it's like "Addison!" that tells you, you've done something right. But I also loved the introduced mechanics and the team aspect that Link had in this game. Also I loved that I spent 90% of the game going, "Zelda, give me back my sword!" to the end where I was like "OH MY GOD! LET ME CATCH HER!" because the story was just that beautiful and that rich. Fantastic game!

2. Opus: Echoes of Starsong

I have never bawled at the end of a video game as much as I did with this game. It's a mostly text based story game where you control the dialogue and the actions (plus there were puzzles), but ultimately, you make the ending happen. And its heartbreakingly beautiful. The friendship between Jun and Eda is incredibly rich and painful. Both who have been outcast into the world and are trying to survive and save the people they care about. And ultimately that drive is so hard to let go of that is why it was so captivating to watch and get lost in.

3. Assassin's Creed 3

It was hard to lose Ezio Auditore, but meeting Ratonhnhaké:ton (aka Connor Kennway) was a good reset to the series. Connor isn't a playboy or joker, but his drive for justice not only for others but for his people hit a lot deeper. And I loved seeing the game explore both the good and bad about my country's history. Plus I like the way they painted our founding fathers as not the heroes they always were. They were flawed, like everyone is and they did both great and terrible things. Also, I have never hated someone as much as Connor's father, so thank god after the twist beginning you do get to get revenge on Haytham.

4. Assassin's Creed Revelations

It was both fun and sad to play this game, knowing that we were going to be saying goodbye to Ezio Auditore. But honestly, I'm impressed that even he got older, he could still climb and jump off buildings, lol. It was interesting too to see him so separated from all the characters we've known to be a part of his story. But Instanbul was a cool setting and that was fun to explore. I liked the tie ins to him discovering more about Altair's story, but then that ending scene man.... RIP Ezio. You deserve it.

5. Opus: Rocket of Whispers

This was the second game by SIGONO and it was a completely different world to step into. We meet John who is the only survivor of his town after a deadly plague takes hold. He thinks he is all alone, haunted by the whispers of those that have died, but then he meets Fei. She's the last surviving witch who was saved when she was young to try and help bring peace by building the final rocket and sending it to space. The two take time to learn about each other, and it's rocky, but they also help to accomplish this task and find meaning again in their lives.

6. Assassin's Creed Liberation

The first female assassin! I absolutely adored Aveline de Gradnpé because she's fearless, but also super feminine. It was cool too to switch between her different personas of being a lady to assassin, and even her undercover disguise as a slave. I wish the story had been a little more fleshed out because I thought it was interesting that after being born from her former slave mother and white rich merchant father that she was well cared for. But the twist at the end didn't hit as hard as I felt it could have. But I do know this was a PSP port, so it couldn't do what the full games could. It also made the gameplay way jankier than even my gripes with AC3. Still I liked exploring 1770s Louisiana and can't wait to play as more badass women.

7. Opus: The Day We Found Earth

This was the first SIGONO game made and first one I played so it's not as fleshed out as the others, but its still cute and tragic... You play as Emeth, a robot on a spaceship who is trying to find his creator, a scientist named Lisa, who was studying Earth because the end goal of the mission was to find and get to Earth. As simple as a premise and as a short of a game, it was a really beautiful story to tell and it made you wonder, how humanity got to the stars and why were they trying to get back. I also love Emeth and how impatient he is, but also adorable which is why there's a cameo in Starsong where you can find him which made my day.

8. Ring Fit Adventure

I needed something to spice up my workout last winter when I was bored of walking around my house for an hour everyday, lol. And this game is great! I had a Wii Fit back in the day and used it regularly, but it doesn't have anything on the level of intensity this game can bring. There were a couple days where I sore after an hour session. My only thing is I don't feel its a good daily workout. Mostly because the story part of it, doesn't make me feel balanced in the exercises that I'm doing. Still its fun to do from time to time.

Some days ago, I begun to watch this show because I didn't have a interest in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina -- the new and more creepy version of Sabrina, the teenage witch. I discovered the old version during the promotion of CAOS and I had a good first impression about Sabrina, the Teenage Witch.

The show begin in Sabrina's birthday, when she discover that she is a witch and a half-mortal and try to be a normal teenager on the new school, where she meets Jenny, a eccentric and nice girl, and Harvey, a beautiful and absent-minded boy (and her future boyfriend). She also meets a enemy: Libby, a cheerleader that loves to say that Sabrina is a freak.

A strange thing happens on the second season: Jenny just disappear and is replaced by Valerie... I'll miss Jenny, even that Valerie is a nice character. I decided to searched for the reason and I found it! There is a piece of a article, in which the actress who plays Sabrina, Melissa Joan Hart, explains everything:

Back to Sabrina's house, Zelda and Hilda take care of Sabrina and share experiences about be a witch and the advantages and disadvantages, but in two points of view, because the responsible, smart and scientist Zelda is so different from the careless, irresponsible, funny and musically gifted Hilda! But they get along with each other and I love to see it.

Salem also lives with them and he is a nice cat who loves to do pranks, make sarcastic comments, complain, cry and ask for cuddle. He was a man before being turned into a cat for a hundred years as a punishment. The reason? He tried to dominate the world.

I'm still watching the second season, but I'm loving the show and I'm sure that it always will be in my heart. I like the way Sabrina is nice, beautiful, a bit awkward and good with her family and friends. This series deserves being rated with a 5/5 and be watched by everyone!

(extra: I'll try to convince my boyfriend to watch the old version and realize that old Sabrina is so much better than new Sabrina. I really don't know how he can like CAOS when STTW exists!)

Hi, I discovered your blog an hour ago and I fell in love with it. Your writing is amazing! I love the idea of 'Reader Impact', it's very original and it would be an amazing series. Also, I can't stop thinking about either Aether or Lumine playing Genshin Impact (yes, I'm a simp for the twins) and simping for the reader through all the playthrough.

i like to think he's the softer one of the twins.

like, lumine is the one to beat someone up while aether wants to talk things out.

aether and lumine definitely stream together.

catch them playing little nightmares 2 together and lumine being the one to play most of the time.

anyway since genshin is primarily a single-player game, the twins can't really play together for the first part of the game.

they'd still play together, though!

they will start the game together and end the game together.

they're super excited to see that there are twins as the mc.

aether is not prepared for the start of the game.

please he jumps when he sees the main god appear.

now comes the fateful decision of which twin to choose.

aether picks you automatically because he just really likes you.

your scarf is so cute and your wings are so cute and--

he feels guilty when your twin is taken away :((

he really can't imagine the feeling where you lose your other half right in front of your very eyes.

he's rooting for you when you attack the god but he knows you won't beat her because there wouldn't be a game if you did.

he will cry, don't test him.

he really likes your voice.

it's just really soothing for him to listen to.

when the game starts, he'll just jump around the beach for a few minutes.

"look! look at their scarf!"

he likes the physics of the clothes whenever your character moves.

he's just so giddy!!

lumine is teasing him but he doesn't care.

his chat really wants to know why he likes you so much.

and honestly? he just does.

anyway, back to the actual storyline.

he gets scared by dvalin because he doesn't want you to get hurt.

anytime there is a long silence during the stream, aether will cut in and just compliment you out of the blue.

like it's dead quiet except for the game.

you can hear aether's character (you) running through the grass.

"they're really cute."

anyway, he gets further into the game and him and lumine have top-tier characters.

even though he has a bunch of new four and five star characters...

hE JUST CAN'T LEAVE YOU BEHIND.

you will always be in his party, no questions asked.

and then he learns you can have different elements.

he doesn't care which one you have because you'll look cool with any one of them!

he soon gets used to your silence whenever something happens.

he appreciates the noises you make every so often when you're traveling because that's all he gets.

like i said before, lumine's the "tougher" of the twins.

it's not like she's a tomboy type, she just is more... confrontational.

she likes to stand up for herself.

we love a strong woman.

anyway, games.

she and aether tend to do more story-based games because they like the banter that comes with it.

her viewers are... different compared to her brothers, but she doesn't let that stop her!

the chat's exactly what you'd expect from a strong female streamer... unfortunately.

once again, lumine and aether stream the game together but with different playthroughs.

while aether chooses your sibling, lumine chooses you!

she really likes your outfit, ngl.

as much as she loves to tease her brother, she'd feel devastated if she were in your position.

if you have flowers just like lumine, she will purposely get matching ones and wear them for genshin streams.

anyway, she loves your fighting style.

if it's graceful and calculated, she loves watching your scarf flow behind you while you fight hilichurls.

if it's reckless and wild, she'd admire you for being so tough :0

lumine still teases aether for being so smitten over his twin, but she'd be just as guilty.

they'd rant on and on after ending the game about how cute and cool you are.

surprisingly, she'd be the one to point out the slight difference in the twins.

once lumine and aether can play together in the same world, she'd have them stand side by side and attack just to explain the differences.

like how your twin uses the opposite hand in every attack.

or how your elemental skills are animated differently along with different voicelines.

also, she'd argue with aether about which twin is better.

her side of the stream would definitely start with some of your voicelines.

she wouldn't go as far as to use your lines for alarms in her daily life but she'd definitely use them for her stream.

she loves gliding around teyvat with you.

"look at how cute they are when they're flying!!"

you are her main dps, no questions asked.

her sub dps wouldn't get as much attention,,,

and once you unlock the other elements, she is prepared.

any character she has that matches your element, you get their artifacts.

she will buff you no matter what element you use.

just like aether, she wished you would talk more but she wouldn't be devastated.

her chat would tell her not to worry because you'll talk soon.

she's kind of annoyed they told her but she can't help but feel really excited for that special moment.
