Good morning emy, idk if you've thought about Stede waking Ed up with sweet morning kisses today but if you haven't, this is your reminder to do that 😇❤️
In another life, Stede preferred nighttime to day.
At night he could be alone. Well, he had to share a bed with Mary, yes, but he could feign sleep, and therefore it was easier to imagine he was alone. All nice and quiet and peaceful. No expectations to speak of. And then he could drift off to sleep as he rotated through some of his favorite fantasies in his mind — captaining a pirate ship, going on adventures on the high seas, swashbuckling in a fab red swishy coat and some smashing leather boots, oh, and maybe even a sash so it’d twirl all around him as he leapt to and fro, and…
Anyway!
Point is, Stede loved nighttime, because it was the only time he could fool himself into thinking he was happy. There was nothing he looked forward to more than putting on his nightcap and tucking himself into bed for a long night of dreaming.
But now? In this life?
Stede loves the morning.
He loves the way the sun’s rays stream into the window of the bedroom he shares with Ed. He loves stretching out his arms and wiggling his fingers to get some circulation back into them before he pulls Ed into a tighter embrace. He loves the sleepy little noises Ed makes as he settles himself into Stede’s chest. He loves gently running his hand through Ed’s hair and seeing if any more silver strands sprouted overnight.
He loves placing gentle kisses on whatever part of Ed he can reach — the top of his head, above his eyebrow, on his cheek, on his nose, down his neck and back up again.
He loves how Ed feels wrapped up around him, all warm and languid and liquid, like a big, gorgeous cat sunning himself in love. But in a way that doesn’t sound weird. Because that does sound weird. A bit.
But still.
Stede loves mornings.
All nice and quiet and peaceful. No expectations to speak of.
Just love.
Ed rolls over in Stede’s arms, taking one of Stede’s hands as he does. Smiling, Stede turns his focus to the new area of skin Ed very kindly bared for kisses. He peppers soft kisses all over Ed's back, gentle and sweet, each one a reminder to Ed:
Hello, my love.
I’m here.
I love this life we’ve built together.
We’ll get our first guest at the inn some day.
You’re beautiful.
You’re wonderful.
You’re mine.
And then Stede feels Ed pull his hand to his lips, and Ed presses a kiss there, and Stede squeezes his hand back.
“Morning, love.” Ed’s voice is still raspy with sleep, just one more thing Stede loves about the mornings. “Have a good night's sleep?”
“Yes,” Stede replies, and tugs Ed closer to him. “And now I can't wait to start our day.”

Oh, this may be an interesting format. I mean, the reaction is always the same, but making it with my wives aka my ult bias as line-up is something that would give more reasons to write.
How would my wives react to Y/N forgetting their birthday?
Taeyeon
It is clear to everyone that she would get so mad. "It happens once at year and you couldn't even remember that". I don't think she would care where are you in that moment, she would make a scene and I would say that probably she would break up with you, because it's too big as mistake. (Luckily it won't ever happen in my case😇)
Seulgi
She would be the one feeling guilty probably. "You were so busy in this period, don't worry, I always forget about a lot of stuff". And that would hurt you so much because you know she's honest about it, she's not faking it. She's really that good as person. So it's just the bare minimum to delete all your previous plans and spend the entire day making her happy and making up for your mistake.
Irene
For Irene is always hard to share her feelings and emotions, so she wouldn't say anything about the event for all day. Probably it was a message from your friend asking you to make her wishes for his part that made you realize what was the meaning of her sad smile since the morning. You immediately apologized and ran to buy a cake. Seeing that you were honest about your sorrow, she let it go.

That would create a lot of doubts in her mind and she wouldn't lose time in sharing them with you. "Do you not love me anymore? Are you thinking about another woman?". She would not be mad, just...hurt by your behaviour. She did her best for your birthday, while you forget about it. That would be a really critical moment in your relationship, you should do your best to demonstrate her that you care about her in the next months.

She's usually very talkative, she always talks with you if there is any problem, so it must be something really huge if she's that mad, it has to be something like... forgetting her birthday? Be ready to be teased about it till her next birthday and even later.

Your ears are not ready for how loud her screams would be in that occasion. Calming her down would be an heroic feat. You didn't ever seen her that angry. Be careful with your words because you risk to be also slapped and not in a fun way. She would need some time alone to understand if break up or give you a second chance. You have to hope that you were perfect during your days together, except for that single terrific mistake.

WIP Wednesday (2/28) | Guardian Angel Neil AU (Part 125)
“Neil, why are you here?” Andrew asks suddenly, interrupting Neil’s commentary about something his teammates had done during practice.
The angel blinks, then gestures to the roof. “Because you’re here, duh.”
“No, not on the roof. I mean…” Andrew trails off. Does he really want to know the future? Well… No. He has a hard enough time making himself get up in the morning without knowing bad things are going to happen. He shakes his head, changes his mind. “I meant, where did you come from?”
Neil gives him a skeptical brow. “That’s an entirely different question.”
“Answer it anyway.” Andrew insists. Neil gives him a look but sighs.
“I guess I’m supposed to tell you I came from Heaven or something—”
“No, before that. Before me. Back when you were alive,” Andrew says. He’s been curious about Neil’s past for a long time and it seems like a good topic to distract him from the whole ‘Neil is a corporeal being’ thing.
“Well, I was born in Baltimore. And I died in Baltimore. In between those two events, I’d been everywhere. Twice. Except for Heaven. I never got there. Hell, I’ve been to.” Neil adds on, a light shudder wracking his frame.

👩💻 deploy a high-priority hotfix, hoping it doesn't crash and burn (it didn't, yay! ☺️)

Hi Danny babe have you considered that after spending an entire day at their inn Ed and Stede just sit next to each other quietly on the porch and just talk about their day or read next to each other and sometimes Ed will fall asleep and Stede carries him to bed? 😇❤️
good morning meow babe I hadn’t considered this today yet but now I am thinking about stede’s rippling biceps as he scoops ed up in his arms and ed nuzzling into stede’s neck (he definitely woke up and is doing a very bad job at pretending to still be asleep because he loves when stede carries him) and stede doesn’t care because he gets to carry his princess across the threshold of their home and tuck him in bed and give him a little kiss on the forehead before snuggling up next to him ❤️
