Just wanted to mention this because I’m finally getting to revise this scene within the second part and I’m excited to talk about it! When the MC gets to Aurelian, and the dorm you’ll be staying in, you’ll be able to choose your rooms design. (Since Aurelian Academy is enchanted, the magic will happily oblige.)

And, yes, each one will potentially offer unique reactions from the various characters.

You’ll be able to choose from these:

Cozy: A crackling hearth sends off a gentle glow throughout the room, something that only exemplifies the dark color palettes strewn throughout: showcased in the deep engravings within the wooden walls, in the plush rug stretched in front of a couch within the small sitting area situated in the corner of the room. It’s a place that radiates warmth, safety, and a general feeling of home.

Elegant: Tastefully chosen decor— from the leather sectional to the hand-engraved bookshel, and even the beautifully crafted stained glass window— complements the overall feel of the room, as well as the beautifully handcrafted crystal chandelier that offers the central lighting. It’s a place that radiates power, wealth, and, above all, comfort.

Gothic: Straight out of the classic vampire guidebook— the room is splashed with black, blood red, with the barest hints of dark gray. Various alcoves are dotted throughout, filled with various oddities, and stone gargoyles stand as sentries within the topmost ones. Dragon clawed scones offering the main lighting for the room. It’s a place that’d make Count Dracula proud.

Minimalist: Less is more, right? Well that saying is personified within this room! Clean lines, sparse furniture, only the necessities, along with a neutral color palette. This place radiates a certain light and airiness that can rarely be found anywhere else!

Normal: The typical Aurelian Dorm experience! Why customize it when you have everything you already need? A simple bay window, along with a sturdy elevated bed, with a desk situated underneath, are the main focal points of the room. Added on, you’ll find a few bookcases, a small couch, and a rather nice rug. It’s a room that’s so good you don’t need to even think about changing it!

Nature: Why go outside when you can simply stay in your room? The bed is seemingly carved at the base of a grand tree itself, along with a small meadow being created to simulate the main sitting area— with bits of bioluminescent bark, mushrooms, and fireflies (not real), being the main lighting of the room. It’s a place that any nature lover will love to spend their downtime in!

Colorful: Why have one simple color scheme when you can have them all? The rainbow has made its home within your room, and you wouldn’t have it any other way! A slew of different colors are dotted throughout— from the tie dye bedspread to the multicolored flames that dance within the hearth— to give you whatever you may need! This is a place that’ll never have you seeing in black and white!

You smile as you look around the third location of The Bubble Bea Beanery. What started as a cute quaint coffee and tea shop had turned into something so much more. Growing beyond your expectations. The new site was coming along perfectly. You didn’t even have to tell your assistant what you wanted, she just knew. It had the same vibe as the other two locations, but each store had its own unique spin and personality.

Your cousin yells your name as she slings the door open,and you turn to greet her. Spinning around in the store with your arms spread wide and the biggest smile on your face. You were so proud, “So we need to talk,” Chelsea starts off, without even a short sweet hello.

“About what?” Chelsea was always up to something, and always getting you in trouble.

“You know I love you, and I love what you’re doing here. The Bubble Bean is adorable.”

“But?” There was always a but. Especially with the way she had approached this conversation.

“You don’t have anyone to share it with.”

“Ugh,” you scoff, rolling your eyes as you head towards the storage room. Chelsea follows you, wanting to start speaking, but you cut her off, “Do you not think I haven’t tired? You act as if I hole up alone every night in my apartment. I don’t. I just don’t think there’s anyone worth my time. I would rather be single than settle, and…why are you smiling?”

“I did something stupid, but it paid off,” you open your eyes wide as you hold out your arms, glaring at her. “Why are you looking at me like that?”

“You are smiling, and you said you did something stupid. I’m not doing speed dating nonsense.”

“I’m not asking you to. I…I can’t proceed down this path without your consent.”

“No.”

“You don’t even know what it is,” she counters. Following you as you walk further away. Starting to pack up bags of coffee beans. “I’m trying to help you.”

“No.”

“But I want to help you.”

“Absolutely no.”

“Please, just hear me out,” sighing, you stop your movements and give her your undivided attention. “It’s not the best timing. And before you say anything, just listen. I know you’ve got the third store opening, and there’s still so much to do, but I signed you up for something.”

You roll your eyes because it was always something she was wanting you to do. Cousins, but also best friends. She found love early, and had children early. Now she wanted to live vicariously through you as you navigated trying to find someone that was worth having more than three dates with. “You were approved to go on The Bachelor.”

“Shut the fuck up.”

“The season you're on has a music producer named Nick Vaughan on it, and…”

“Shut up! The Bachelor? Like the show we have a FaceTime call every Monday night to watch?” Chelsea nods her head, and reaches into her pocket for her phone before she shows you a picture, “This is Nick?”

“Yep. And I know what you’re thinking…”

“He’s hot.”

“That is not at all what I thought you were thinking. But I’m going to shut up, you work it out in your head. Can I make a bubble tea?”

“No,” you groan, trying to think things through logically. What would it actually feel like to date a guy that was obviously dating twenty other women? To know that you weren’t the only person he was talking to. You wouldn’t be the only person he was spending time with. Was developing sincere feelings even possible? You enjoyed the show, but that didn’t mean you wanted to be on the show. That was a lot to think about.

“We’re on time crunch. There’s other girls that want to be on. And they chose you. I don’t know what the criteria is, and I’m not going to pretend to know, but The Bachelor with that hot guy. What do you have to lose?”

“I’m opening up a new store.”

“And Claudia has made all the decisions. You just told me that yesterday.”

“But it’s not open.”

“Claudia and you hired several new employees. Rick is going to test them on their coffee making skills. Babes, even though you’ve got a new store opening, you’ve got this down. It’s completely perfect. And you can do this. You can go on this stupid show and have fun. Maybe make out with a hot guy, and make your last boyfriend that lasted a total of three months, jealous. You could have that hot man make out with you on camera, and try and get it in. And every man that used the excuse that they weren’t in the right place in their life can swallow rocks while you fuck Nick.”

“You can’t do that. It’s what the fantasy suite is for,” it actually didn’t sound like a bad idea. It sounded fun. But could you trust everyone on your team to make this store happen?

“Okay, you get to travel, have fun, meet this incredibly hot guy, spend time with women exploring different locations, and then there’s this possibility of finding love. How bad could this be?”

“Why would you say that?” You ask, childishly stomping your foot. She knows how superstitious you are, and that was not necessary. “You have ruined everything now.”

“So does that mean you’re going to go?” Chelsea taps her knuckles on the cabinets three times before you ever nod your head yes. You were going to do it, but it was only to have fun.

Nick rubs his hand over his brows, scrunching his eyes. He is annoyed. “Why am I doing this again?”

“It’s good publicity,” Nick’s hand slaps down on the arm of the chair as he glares over at his manager. “You said you didn’t have time to date, and you weren’t into just sex. Here you go. You get to date twenty-six women at once.”

“Sounds exhausting.”

“And they all know that you’re dating all of them,” Nick rolls his eyes, settling back more into his chair. Dating around out in the open when you were the only male, and the women lived together, “Nick, it’s for a few weeks. What is the worst that could happen,” Nick’s eyes turn into saucers as he stares over at his manager, and Mickey taps his knuckles on the table beside him three times.

“Seriously? You know I hate sentences like that.”

“And I did your odd little ritual or knocking on wood three times. You signed the contract though. You’re doing it. Just have fun. Meet women. Enjoy yourself.”

Nick did not think he would enjoy himself. He thinks this show is going to be corny. The only thing he can hope for is maybe some fun. Maybe get to meet some attractive women. But he knows the drama is coming. He knows his normally private life is going to be exaggerated to make it look more exciting on television. Fake dates, and too many women; a lot could go wrong.

Nick looks out at the property of the mansion, shaking his head. The women are gorgeous. They seemed interesting, and first impressions aren't everything, but there was nobody he had met that he actually saw himself with. There could always be something more. But it was starting to feel monotonous.

Gorgeous women. And this was just speed dating. It is all it was. He says his hellos, nodding his head. He’s polite, and notices the camera. They all put on a show for him. They wanted him to remember them. And still they blurred together.

He looks over at the producers, giving them a curt nod as he sighs. “How long is this supposed to last?”

“You signed the contract,” a nameless, faceless producer reminds him.

“Right. Is that all of them?” He had been standing here for ages. When they shake their heads, he lets out a dramatic puff of air. “She’s late?”

“Yes. Her driver.”

Nick wants to fire the driver. “Is she the last one?” Another nod from the producer. This is what he didn’t like. Things weren’t in his control here when in real life they normally were. He was the director of things in the studio. He told other’s what to do. And now he was being controlled by people he didn’t know and a bunch of giggly women. He is already exhausted thinking about it.

“Finally,” Nick whispers as headlights shine on the damp pavement.

Pursing your lips, you exhale slowly as the car rolls into place. He looks annoyed. This was a terrible idea. He couldn’t even look at the car. The driver couldn’t find your location. You knew you were going to be the first to be sent home. You couldn’t even see his face. He was disinterested before even meeting you because of something beyond your control.

Grabbing onto the door handle, you pull the lever, and step out of the car. Nick’s head tips forward, and your eyes lock in with his crystal blue eyes. “Hey,” he says with a boyish grin.

“Hey,” you smile back. His pictures didn’t do him any justice. He is handsome, but it was so much more than that. There seemed to be a young mischievous quality about him. You give him your name, and he pulls up your hand up to his mouth, kissing over your knuckles.

“I’m Nick.”

“I know,” he hadn’t dropped your hand, and you had no intention of removing it. “I’m sorry. I’m nervous.”

“I was,” you clear your throat, looking down to the ground. It was too soon. You did not want to be the one saying you were in love the first night. “So…uh…what do you do?”

“I own a couple coffee shops. Putting up the third.”

“I love coffee. What’s it called?”

“The Bubble Bee Beanery,” Nick’s eyes somehow get brighter, and his smile widens. His thumb starts making shapes on the top of your hand, and you become even more nervous. Who was this man to get you to act like a school girl?

“You’re a New York girl?” Staring at him confused, you nod your head. “Upper East Side?”

“Yes,” your word drags out. Had he done some research on you ladies, and he just knew it was you.

“I love the Bubble Bee. My order is the Metropolitan. I don’t always get to go in there; my assistant gets it most of the time. I prefer the flagstone store. And…that’s yours? I’ll admit the bubble tea is not really my thing, but the coffee is top notch. Naming specialty drinks after parts of the city is cute. It’s just good coffee. Not too gimmicky. And you did this show for what reason?”

“To hopefully find love. Isn’t that why you signed up?” You couldn’t tear your eyes away from him, even if you wanted to. He still hadn’t quit touching you. His hand was steadily in your own.

“Yeah. Yeah, I did,” his eyes coast up and down your body, admiring every bit of your soft curves. You are surprising to him, in the best way possible. Not at all stuffy like the other girls. There was a playfulness. A soft quality. While everyone else was just trying to be sexy, you are being lighthearted.

“You should probably head in for cocktails.”

“Will I get to talk to you the rest of the night? Or are you going to mingle some more?”

“I have to mingle. But I definitely want to see you out in the garden. Just you and me. Bring a drink,” a producer beckons Nick over to him, and Nick runs his thumb and forefinger over his beard. Making you weak, and visioning sinful thoughts about him. Maybe this experience isn’t going to be too bad. And maybe you could at least have some fun. You did like what you were seeing.

It feels weird to be in a house of women that are looking at one guy. The same guy that you couldn’t keep your eyes off. The very man that you had to keep telling yourself that he was not locking eyes with you. He couldn’t be sitting on a couch with four other women, and his sight drifting to yours. That was most definitely not what was happening. Never.

Nick stands from the couch, giving each lady a nod before walking right over towards you, his hand going towards your free hand, “What are you drinking, bellissima?”

“Are you Italian?”

“Not that I’m aware of. But beautiful just seems a bit too cliche tonight. Bellissima has a spark. What’s in your cup?”

“It’s a whiskey sour.”

“Hmm,” he says with a grin, pulling your hand into his. “Follow me. Let’s get a bit of privacy.

Holding onto your hand, he leads you outside, and you hear whispers immediately. Could feel eyes stabbing in the back of your head. You were going to be talked about. You had seen the show enough that anytime a girl was pulled away from the group, everyone had something to say. You didn’t go to Nick, he came to you. Now you were a target.

He sits down, and pulls you right along with him. His arm wraps around you. “If we were here, I would have already taken you home.”

“What makes you think I would have followed you? I’m not that kind of girl, Nicholas.”

“Oh, she likes using the whole name when she’s calling me out. So, what kind of girl are you, Bella?” Your brow perks up, and you find yourself leaning slightly more into him. “I can’t go around calling you bellissima in front of the other ladies. They’ll get jealous. So, Bella, what kind of a girl are you?”

“Someone who wants a partner. I can do life by myself. I just want to enjoy life with someone. I don’t need a man, I want a man. Have our shared moments, create new memories, and have fun.”

“Well, this show is for marriage,” you’re not an idiot. You knew it was for marriage, and respond with a grin, and a slight nod. “Clearly, you want to be married, so that’s good.”

“And what about you? Is marriage something you’ve wanted?” There is something oddly liberating about not holding back with this line of questions. Both of you knew the end goal, and that was marriage. You didn’t have to go through months of dating only to realize he didn’t believe in marriage. Or waste your time because you were not the girl he wanted to marry, he had a different vision. It was always an excuse, but it was never you they wanted.

“I’ve always wanted marriage. I’m a bit of a hopeless romantic. I find women nowadays don’t align with what I want.”

“Oh,” he had to have a flaw. And here it was. He was going to tell you. He had a sick idea of a housewife that had no personality. Of course he had to have something wrong with him.

“I want…I think people see me as a way to meet celebrities. I want to be able to bring my girlfriend, or wife with me to parties, and events. I just don’t want her to run off with one of the artists I’m working with. They have the fame, and the adoration. I have the talent behind the scenes, why would they want me?”

“Why would they not?” He gives you a serene smile, but you know he’s been hurt. From the sounds of it more than once with a cheating girlfriend. “If someone is going to leave you like that, or cheat on you like that, they never loved you to begin with. It was a means to find someone else. I hate cheaters. I’ve never understood it. Just leave. Cheating hurts everyone involved, and nobody realizes that until it’s too late. Oh…”

You take a deep breath in as Nick’s nose touches your own. His cologne mixes with the beer he had been nursing, and it makes you dizzy. It isn’t until he pulls your drink out of your hand that you realize that your legs were laying over top of his. Things felt comfortable, and you had only met this man.

“I’d like to kiss you,” Nick’s lashes flutter on your cheek, and you want nothing more than to touch his lips with your own.

“You say that to all the girls here,” it was the first damn night, and every movement of your mouth has your lips brushing up against his.

“They’re boring. Let me kiss you,” you respond by puckering your lips and pulling him into you. You had told yourself that you wanted to have fun, and didn’t want to hold back. You didn’t believe you could find true love on this show, but getting to kiss a sexy man was worth it.

“She’s already kissing him,” Nicole says as she marches back to the other girls. “She’s going to be a problem. She’s a fast mover. She probably said something to him when they first met. He couldn’t take his eyes off her.”

“It’s the first night. She’s just trying to get a rose,” Holly sighs. Everyone was here for the same thing, and that was him. It sucks that she wasn’t the one to get a kiss, but she couldn’t fault you.

“No, they’re totally making out. It’s the first night.”

You have to pull away from Nick, gasping for air as you stare into those bright blue eyes. Noticing all the different shades that made up the color blue that was unique to him. “You felt it?” He whispers. “Don’t play games, Bells. I’m not. You’re getting the first impression rose. I’ve…I need some air.”

There was a difference with kissing him. Nothing had ever felt better. Nothing has ever even tasted better than his lips. His tongue. And there were cameras capturing it all. Even the tightness of his pants, and quick departure.

Jena grabs the card, squealing as she starts to open it, “Make sure you’re laser focused,” after she says your name with the other group of girls, you lose interest. You are going on a group date, with something that involves lasers, and you are getting to see Nick again.

“So is he a good kisser?”

“Hmm?” Looking up from your bland coffee, you stare at one of the nameless contestants. You couldn’t keep up. There were so many of them.

“You going to play innocent when Nicole saw you and Nick kissing. So was he any good?” You didn’t have to listen to this. You aren’t opposed to making friends, but the point of the show wasn’t them. It was him. “That bad or that good?”

“What do you want me to say? Nick and I kissed. I’ll admit to that, as to everything else it doesn’t matter. I’m going to get dressed for the date.”

“He left the cocktail hour. Barely talked to anyone. Maybe her kiss was the one that was so bad he couldn’t stand being around her.”

“She got a first impression rose. I don’t think it was a bad kiss.”

“And he still asked her for a group date.”

They weren’t slick, or quiet. No wonder there was always so much drama on here. You could hear everything. And you learned quickly that if you didn’t hear it someone would tell you what you missed. A constant trying to pit everyone against each other. It was going to be a long seven weeks. If you made it that far.

Laser tag. Of course that’s what the date card meant. And of course you being caught making out with Nick had everyone immediately wanting to go up against you. Not all could. You had to be put into teams. Your team got lucky, you’re an excellent shot.

“Oof!” You choke out as someone pulls you into a hidden alcove of the arena. Back slamming against the wall, and then the softest touch of his fingertips run down your side, “Nick, we can’t…”

“I had to see you. There’s never enough time with you. There’s no cameras here. And I can’t stay away. You feel it right?” Biting at your lip, you nod your head. Trembling as his hands grips to your hip. Fingers digging into your skin, while his thumb makes shapes on your stomach so tenderly. His hand rests on the wall beside your head, and you suddenly understand all those romance novels. This is the perfect angle for him.

“You’re getting a rose,” he informs you, biting at his lip. Unsure of whether this was part of the show or not, but you liked it.

“I don’t need you to tell me that.”

“I want to be open and honest with you about what I’m thinking. You’re getting a rose. You’re not going anywhere, and from how I feel right now, you’re not going anywhere anytime soon. I need you to stay and see where this goes. Kiss me.”

Shaking your head no, you pull him closer. Your hand drops the laser gun and you run you shaking fingers up his back, “You better kiss me, or I’ll make sure Nicole gets a good shot at you.”

“This is too fast,” was it the show or getting caught up in the feelings that made people fall so fast. When you watched the show you laughed at these women. Now you understand. You could see it happening, and feel it right before your eyes. It didn’t even feel free.

“So? This is not a normal way of dating. This is entertainment for millions, and this kiss is just for us. Kiss me like you wanted to last night. No cameras. No bullshit. Just…” your hand coasts to his neck, and you pull him into you. Slotting your lips on his, and the hand beside your head moves to the back of your neck, and he presses his weight into you.

Breathless isn’t even the word. It’s shocking. Lightning sparks through your veins when his tongue licks over your lips, and you grant him access. Whimpering in his mouth, and clinging to him so tightly. This wasn’t a normal first kiss. This was just the beginning of passion. Had this alcove had more room, you would have been pulling him to the floor.

Nick starts ghosting his lips down your jaw, settling on your neck, and gives you a tiny little nip. Rolling his hips into your body, “Nick, we can’t.”

“I want to.”

“I want to, too, but,” your words drown out as his mouth dips even lower on your body. “Nick, please.”

“I love that word coming out of your mouth,” you mewl as he kisses down your chest. Fingers weaving through his hair. “My god, Bella…”

“Stop. Stop stop,” he stands up immediately, staring at your kiss bruised lips. “They already hate me.”

“I saw the footage. It seems to just be a couple that hate you.”

“I watch the show. I know how girls can be. Just…I like this, but we have a contract. And not all of us want to buy ourselves out of it. This was fun.”

“Maybe, we’ll do it again?”

It was cruel. Having to follow someone else’s rules, and not just your own. They weren’t even Nick’s rules, but the studios. “You know where to find me,” you playfully answer, and his eyes drift down your body as you begin to leave.

“I’ve got a rose just for you,” and let the games begin.

Horizon Tag Game

Thank you for tagging me @nerd-artist! :)

1. Ride or die ship (Your otp):

Ereloy. When I first got my ps4 Horizon was one of the first games I ever played back in 2019 and MAN. The dynamic and stories that surround these two. They're polar opposites both in writing, origin and personality. Like many Ereloys I fell hard at the Two Minutes Convo™️ back in hzd when Aloy was all mission and no time to waste. Not only did she reassure Erend when he most needed it, but also promised him a bit more of her time than what little he had asked her for. (Also, the way Guerrilla team describes Erend in regards of his relationship with Aloy is just SUCH TEASING. They love their friendship as much as we do and the puppy mentions are my fave meal.)

Their relationship has developed like HELL in hfw and I'm so here for it. Their closeness and chemistry is out of this world, and to see Aloy be soft and smile with him makes me hope for more moments in HZ3 where she can have fun with him when we go to 🕯️The Claim🕯️. The care they have for eachother is more than evident, too, and all the special focus they both had in HFW still has me thinking they might be endgame in Hz3. I just can't escape them.

2. Most annoying ship: Hating a ship in public? In this economy??

3. Second favorite ship: Morlund and Abadund. Ray of sunshine and little rain cloud ship? Sign me the fuck up. Oh also Vanasha x Uthid. Delish.

4. Favourite platonic relationship: Erend and Varl, whatever Erend and Kotallo have going on, Aloy and Talanah, Beta and Erend, Zo and Aloy, ALOY AND BETA (Super exited for the possible 'Teaching Beta how to hunt' Aloy moment. Need more sisters bonding!)

5. Underrated ship: Morlund x Abadund.

6. Overrated ship: The Horizon fandom is kinda small tbh, so, none thus far.

7. One thing i would change in canon: Ugh. A lot. Kinda noticed that the horizon writing has been kinda lazy after hzd so that explains a lot. Varl’s death, the returning character's treatment in hfw, (Erend got written like a CLOWN in the base dialogue), Most of the Hfw DLC, the small amount of Beta and Aloy bonding in hfw, which made the whole 'sister' thing came outta the blue honestly, The Zeniths showing up too soon in the story for my liking, some writing, mostly.

8. Something canon did right: You know what? HZD. BEAUTIFUL introduction to the game's amazing world. The effort that came into creating every tribe is evident and each one of them has this gorgeous presence in the games. Then the worldbuilding, too. The amazing characters that were made (both main and minor), and to tie it off, the way everything comes together in a perfect symphony surely makes the Horizon universe be unique. The delicate balance of the world and its inhabitant's interactions with one another's makes the world so rich and gorgeous. Major kudos there.

9. A thing i'm proud of creating for the fandom PLEASE BRAG ABOUT YOURSELF I WANT TO SEE/READ YOUR ART: Well, I never thought I'd ever be able to draw digitally and let alone post it online to begin with, so it's been a ride for me. I've evolved a lot ever since my first drawing was posted here, and I'm more than grateful for everyone that has enjoyed the fruits of what I can offer.

The most difficult piece I've ever done and my favorite this far is the Evening at Hidden Ember piece. I have it printed in crappy paper and framed on my bookshelf. It was HELL for me to draw, but it makes it worth it even more because the outcome was lovely.

Also, my fics. NEVER would have imagined I'd be able to write anything in my second language, so yea.

10. A character who is perfect to me (Wouldn't change a thing): Beta is a gorgeous character. I love how different she is to both Elisabet and Aloy, and what it brings to the table. I'd love to see what she will become in hz3. She has this huge potential it'd be sad if she remained as Aloy's gal in the chair. Let her see the world!

Erend is nice, too. I know I mentioned the HFW writing, but the whole base thing can be overlooked when you compare it to the general writing of Erend.

I'm easily unimpressed with the hard, serious, tragic-past-having character trope that a post apocalyptic like horizon can create. It's most of Sony's male protagonists. It's gotten quite old for me.

So to see the kindness, fun, and emotional sensitivity Erend's character represents in Horizon is like drinking a huge glass of cold water after exiting the desert. Guerrilla played the "Crass and Loud male character" in on itself with Erend, which is something that can easily backfire if treated poorly, (hence why I hated the hfw base Erend writing reducing him to just, loud and crass and drunk. It was a gross character regression) but the way they did everything else? They aced Erend GORGEOUSLY.

To remain kind and gentle despite everything, specially in a world like horizon, is a feat, and I applaud that. (While also having a sharp bite, of course, and not making it the whole character's theme and personality.)

That's why his introduction in hzd is the way it is- That's why Erend looks the way he does. He is there to show that not everyone has to be what they seem. So when the heavily armored, loud, piercing having, mohawk and muttonchop wearing guy ended up not being an asshole I was quite happy. I breathed, because I' didn't want to see the basic ass hard guy narrative.

TL;DR I love my fucking bear and the free sister everyone gained in hfw.

11. The character I relate to the most and why:

Aloy. Not much of a social being tbh. Mostly everyone I've met here knows I suck ass at staying in touch or one-on-one chats (I do apreciate y'all though, even if I'm not good at showing it). Most comfy talking on public servers. Def.

12. Character(-s) i hate the most and why: Not many characters to actually hate, to be honest. The bad guys are just 'bad' for narrative purposes no matter how many horrible things they've done. Most characters in Horizon are so well made that I just can't hate them.

Maybe I could hate a character if they're poorly written, or if they represent a character archetype we've already seen in-game, but the hate is not inherently on the character itself, instead it's directed at the lost potential and lack of originality the character represents.

13. Something i've learned from the fandom: About the Horizon fandom itself, it's that it's very friendly and tight knit. Everyone here knows eachother, (specially the hzd oldies), so if any nonsense tries to take flight (Like the good ol' 'new fans trying to stir shit up in a generally peaceful fandom' or the famous Shipping Manifestos™️ explainig why MY ship better than YOUR ship, we can just laugh at the utter idiocy, block, and keep creating.

I wanted to ask how you got started in learning to make your own templates like this! They're very intricately gorgeous but there's little to no tutorials coming up every time I try to search? Is there also some form of coding involved? Thank you in advance!

Thank you so much! No coding involved. Google Docs is basically like Microsoft word but less rigid, it allows you to do almost anything you like as long as you know how to manipulate its tools. I have a bit of a background in coding so, though it doesn't involve code, thinking about the layout of a doc like the page of a website is helpful. I only started making docs for character sheets three years ago when I started rping on Discord. Doc templates or doc character sheets are essential on Discord for literate rp and from the jump I saw the potential in the program. I made my own from the start and the first one I ever made was better than any I had ever seen (at the time) even though I had never done it before. (This is my first ever doc if you're curious) - this is my personal information and design, do not copy, do not steal. Definitely not my best anymore but still proud. Never even touched another template before then. I had no teacher, no tutorial. I just went in, played around, made my own rules. In fact, a lot of the things you see people do on doc templates these days, I was the first to do them. I've happily taught fellow creators how to make navigation bars using headers as a way to link to certain spots on a page, great ways on how to implement Drawings (not too much though, text on Drawings is inaccessible to many), even putting likes and dislikes in a list was uncommon before I did it. Like web design, there are trends in the doc world. Knowing the basics of how to make tables do what you want opens doors to everything but really, if you want to create something uniquely you, the best way to do it is just to play around, explore, and invent your own new uses. There no one answer to how to do it, more than one way to skin a cat. (Terrible phrase) I've created some "tutorial-ish" advice answered asks posts that you can read if you'd like more advice on how to up your doc game and if you or anyone ever has a question on "how did you do this on this doc?" or "I want to do this specific thing, how would you do that?", my dms are always open and if you want to talk on Discord, we can do that too. - How to get started/Breaking to learn - How to see in tables - Resources I use There might be other good advice in my other answered asks too. But yeah! Message me privately any questions you have. I try not to post too much other than important helpful information and my doc templates because I have a lot of followers I try to be respectful of. I'm always happy to speak to those that are interested in docs. Hope this was helpful and I can't wait to see what you create. I'm also willing to give advice on how to open your own shop selling docs and building a brand and followers.

I've been reading some of your posts and comments and I saw that you were open to doing headcanons about Lockdown, could you do headcanons about what he would be like as a father? I see him being a good father who trains and educates his son or daughter, but I also see him as a father who does not accept less than perfection, always demanding that the child/teenager be great at everything (so toxic)

I really love your writing, I just don't understand how you do it, like, you just look at the character and think "hmm, I think he's like that" and something very perfect and unique comes out, I really admire anyone who can do that... Anyway, drink water and stay well ❣️

Warnings: Toxic father, toxic parenting.

He had never thought about becoming a father, he was always too busy. He had better things to do and spend his time on than try to raise a small being from its initial stages of weakness.

However when he found out he was going to become one anyway, he decided to accept his responsibilities. It takes two to make a sparkling, and he's not the type to abandon something that he helped create. He decided to take sole responsibility of raising it, knowing he could do it best.

At first he disliked the little being. It was always so needy and vulnerable. He wished he didn't have to carry it around and feed it when he was busy. But after many years he began to grow a bond. Perhaps that's just what happens when you have something clutched to your side 24/7 for almost a few decades.

He had already planned out his Childs future. He knew exactly who the would become, what they could do and how they would help him in his endeavors.

When his kid became old enough to look after themselves, he began training them. He made them train with weapons; guns, swords and hand to hand combat. Then he taught them tactics, stealth and how to use everything to their advantage.

He taught them multiple languages, and how to navigate the ship in case he was busy with other duties. He also made sure to take his child on adventures. Any time he went to another planet to capture a creature, he would take his child. Often he would make the kid do the capturing, he believes they have to learn from a young age so that they can become a strong adult.

He's not comfortable when his child becomes emotional. Any time his kid begins to cry or get upset, Lockdown gets snappy. Emotions show weakness, and he won't allow that on his ship. He's not completely heartless, if his kid is really uncomfortable then he will let the kid off the hook and not let them do something they don't want to. But afterwards he will explain to his kid, that doing things you are uncomfortable with makes you stronger. Then he will expect them to do the task next time.

He may not be good at showing kindness, especially when his child is upset. But he is great at showing when he is proud. When he is proud he will shower his child with 'affection' and compliments. He will tell the child they are doing great and to keep it up.

His 'affection' is usually a pat on the back, or resting his servo on their shoulder.

He will give his child many gifts. It may not be gifts they want, but it's gifts. Said items include weapons, creatures/pets that have a sole purpose of protecting the kid, useful tools to help them on adventures and missions.

Lockdown knows sometimes mistakes happen. Sometimes the universe throws everything against you and you fail. However, he knows how to take what the universe throws at him and make it work to his advantage. He's done so much, and learnt so much he rarely makes mistakes. So he holds that same expectation with his kid. When they are younger and smaller he will allow them to make a few mistakes. But once they are old enough to know better, he will not accept failure. Not unless they have a reasonable and very good excuse.

He is very strict with his rules. And if his child breaks any rules they will be justly punished. There is no escaping the punishments, they must be completed. If the child tries to dupe the punishment, and Lockdown finds out, he will make the punishment's longer and harder.

Lockdown will not allow his child to do things he does not like. If his child wants to become something else, other than what Lockdown has planned for them, he will not allow it. If his child wants to go by themselves, and Lockdown doesn't think they are ready, then he will not allow them. There is no disobeying Lockdown, he has cages on his ship and he will use them if he has to.

The demon race are split like we have the wrath demons who's horns are the same as Satan's for example, there may be different rings and I think someone said how the Devildom sits at the top of hell, where all the higher class demons are where they aee away from the sinners and lower class demons.

I always see as hell is quite policitcal and MC is also part of the government, so they can access information, no other human would never. Like the abuse, torture, of sinners and lower class demons like.

I also like the idea of instead of Lucifer raising the future princes of hell, its MC. Like MC getting to know the rules and the principles of a vast land, and how Diavolo is a future king of the Devildom but not of Hell, and there could be bigger entities at play, like the game has mentioned kings, and dukes and so on.

Everyone one has a different worldbuilding and everyone has different views like Satan/Lucifer/Beelzebub being one of the same entity. Obey me has opened the door and created its own uniqueness of it all, making Diavolo the future king.

Obey me has its own niche in one corner and so many people like inhuman obey me blog, impish ivy and you, and so many more people have so many headcanons its amazing, and just opens your mind to something... like Obey me was supposed to be set in a small English Countryside in a small little cottage,but they scratched that idea and did a little digging.

Making Diavolo king throws out the whole lore, but looking at the theology of the brothers, Solomon, Babarbatos, Mephistoloso, Raphael, grim reapers, witches, angels, demons, the sleeply king of the Devildom, and nightbringer... its fucking facinating...and ive been into this stuff for quite a long time since i was just a teen and now im a young adult who probably wont get over demonology, and I am proud to share the Obey me world with you and the the rest of the people who have done their own fics and headcanons and fanarts, comics etc...

You know, anon, I feel like that is absolutely the best part of fandom in general. All of us get to create our own headcanons and ideas, explore the story and the characters, reinterpret everything as we like. There's no end to human creativity!

As for Obey Me specifically, they definitely have created their own twist on the source material that has made it something fun with unique characters.

I do seem to remember them talking about how hell is not the Devildom, but like a separate place, which is definitely an interesting concept. There certainly could be more entities in the actual hell area of things, possibly waiting to start messing with the Devildom or MC.

And yes, Diavolo as king is absolutely an interesting thing, too. Considering how most of the time it's Lucifer or Satan or Beelzebub, all of which can be used as names for the same entity. Making it Diavolo gives us a whole different power dynamic that most media based on these things just doesn't have.

The Obey Me fandom is the first one I've been active in for a long, long time and it's been so much fun. I love seeing everybody's interpretations of the characters, everybody's different MCs and OCs, and talking to people about the possibilities and theories of where the story might go. It may be loosely based on actual demonology and such, but personally I find the inclusion of demons and angels fun in any capacity. Their very existence just implies a level of power that is so fun to think about.

1. What motivates you to write?

The fun of it! Writing is like play to me and one of the few ways I can be creative. It also lets me explore all sorts of aspects of the human experience in a unique way. I have an obsession with stepping into the shoes of others, to understand them and also myself, and a penchant for asking questions, as anyone in the writing discord I'm a part of can attest to 😅. I've found writing is the perfect way to play with those things in a way that feels safe and fulfilling.

My grandmother came to me first: going into town with her as a boy, taking tea with her in the gardens on her estate, and visiting her on my ageday just so I could hear her stories of the world. Then came her warmth, her sincerity, and her love. The way she smiled whenever I visited her and how the slant of her writing betrayed her eagerness to respond to my many letters. I squeezed my eyes shut tighter as a wave of nostalgia and melancholy passed over me. I missed her so much. What I wouldn’t give for her loving embrace and to hear her call me ‘hatchling’ the way she always did. Perhaps when all of this was done, I would go see her. Then, as the warm sunshine of spring came Mariel. Her smile, her laugh, the gentleness of her voice, and the many moments we shared in The Deadlands. The way we spent the evenings playing Twenty-One while we told one another about our families and where we came from. The quietness of midday, where she would busy herself with mending or some other still activity while I polished my weapons or smoked, neither of us feeling the need to break the silence that formed, akin to a call for prayer. And the mornings, where she and I breakfasted each day without fail, dreams from the night before still clinging to her eyelashes amongst the bleary-eyed look I’d come to adore. Every kiss we shared, every embrace we locked one another in, and every moment she made my heart race with those eyes colored of autumn. I remembered it all.

3. Which OC makes you smile every time you think/talk about them and what are they like?

Oh this question is so hard haha because I love all of my OCs! But if I had to choose one, it has to go to my boy Axtapor. A close second is Mariel but Axtapor wins because he is just so chaotic and annoying and so easy to dunk on that it's hard not to love him! I think I have a soft spot for him too because the character he was originally conceptualized as was rather brooding and hardly spoke, so of all of my characters, he's seen the biggest transformation and its been such a treat to see him develop into who he's become today!

4. What process of writing do you enjoy the most?

When you tie all of the lore pieces together and it just makes sense! It's like when you take a new route home and everything is unfamiliar until you turn onto your street and the map completes in your brain. I LIVE for that!

5. What part of writing do you think you are the best at? (Yes stroke your own ego it's okay)

Expressing feelings/emotions in a vivid/visceral way. I've been told by many people that this is my strong suit and I will 100% own that. My style is rather flowery (as the answer to no. 3 probably demonstrates) and stems from a frustration of not being adequately 'seen' in the past, so when I want you to feel something, I want you to FEEL it, and I will pull out ALL the stops to make sure that happens.

6. What is something in the writeblr community is most enjoyable?

Ask games! I love being asked questions about stuff I write!

7. A writing tool/device you use that helps you with writing? (It could be speech to text, a writing program etc)

Google Docs. It's simple, easy to use, not bogged down with tons of features which I prefer because when I'm presented with too many options I get overwhelmed. Also, it lets me write on my phone if I'm out and about and get hit with an idea. It also makes it easy to revise later on my laptop/PC without having to move things around.

8. A piece of worldbuilding that you like in your own story? (It could be the magic system, a particular place in the story, a law etc)

The Realm of Dreams and I can say NOTHING about it because it's all spoilers.

9. What piece of advice would you say to encourage others to write if they are having a rough patch?

Be curious! Ask yourself questions, talk yourself through your plot/characters/etc out loud, look at things from another perspective, and nine times out of ten, you will find that the solution/answer you're looking for, has been staring you in the face all along.

WRITE THE BOOK YOU WISH TO READ

If you’re like me, then you probably have a list of book ideas on your phones ‘note’ app because as writers, we can’t deny having millions of book ideas and plots running through our heads on the daily, creating storylines and book in our heads that we wish existed, but they don’t, for now.

Instead of writing that list of book ideas and keeping them stored there, we should do something about it! We are all unique and our minds are quite different, yet they have one thing in common: the ability to come up with some of the most amazing ideas and stories but we shouldn’t just stop at coming up with the idea, you should turn it into a reality. Make it come true.

So, if you were looking for a sign to turn one of your ideas into a reality, this is it! So do it! Use that creativity and beautiful mind to your advantage, you have the power to write the story you wish you could read.

it’s about the journey, not the destination.

Writing is a journey and that’s what matters the most. You’ll arrive at your destination, everyone does, so take the journey step by step and enjoy it, take your time, and write a lot but be sure to let that criticism in, after all, other people will be reading your story. Don’t wait to write and be patient and don’t rush because it will take time to develop your story.

What is the meaning of writing? It’s not about you, the real meaning of writing will come to you from the words flowing from your fingertips and a story that truly grabs readers. Don’t be afraid to dive in; be human and take advice.

Of course, you shouldn’t walk this journey alone. You are going to be the ink of this book but what about the readers? Establishing a relationship with potential readers will get you honest opinions and finding these people (even if they are writers like you!), you can build a tribe.

believe in yourself.

Many say to talk to experts like established writers, they don’t always know what’s best, the way you work is different than how they work, and you shouldn’t follow someone’s structure, no one knows you better than you know yourself and believing in yourself is the only way to achieve this and following you bliss.

Disciplining yourself is key to unlocking many aspects. You can just walk blindly and expect everything to fall in its own path, you need to create that path. How? Write daily. Write what you’re passionate about, make your heart roar and don’t be afraid to say yes! Remember that no great art was ever created without a great heart and to read as much as we can in our genre.

the world’s greatest treasure.

We mustn’t forget the internet: the worlds greatest treasure and how we can use it to our advantage! Because we, as writers, can reach other’s from across the world and gives us the opportunity to publish our work online, even if it’s not perfect, we mustn’t look over the small mistake but fix them into making our work better with the help of others’ opinions.

The internet provides us with the opportunity to never stop learning, apart from the many books on our bookshelves, we can access many sites online that allows us to never stop learning.

In the end, our book will end up being our greatest achievement that we will cherish so we shouldn’t hold back when writing it but instead we have to be proud of it, because it’s not just a book with words but a book filled with a whole world full of characters and stories waiting to be discovered and read.

I am not a Muslim nor from any Abrahamic faith. But my religion has caused a lot of harm to lot of people. I have been crying this whole evening. Mostly out of shame for not being able to throw away it all. I keep thinking who will I pray to? How can I even utter another name...In your experience, if there had been love somewhere, where there still is love for you (not everyone is afforded this...love and peace in this religion of mine are for a select few..loathful isn't it?), does it eventually get easier to leave it behind?

i'm so sorry to hear you're going through that anon, and i'm proud of you for reaching out to talk about it ❤

it sounds like our journeys have been very different. personally for me, leaving islam was easy but the part i struggled with was learning to be less fearful and angry without invalidating my own trauma. but i know there are dozens of reasons why someone might struggle with leaving their religion or knowing if they want to leave at all. i hope it would be helpful for me to share my perspective of religion and its role in our lives, and maybe that can give you some comfort or clarity, whatever you choose to do with it.

obviously, a lot of people rely on religion for a lot of different things, including really awful things. for a lot of people, it's about creating their own sense of superiority, or justifying their hate for others, or as a political tool, or as a way to control their children. i've seen people do all sorts of cruel things and say it's in the name of their religion, and i'm sure you have too. that's why you see so many people say that this religion is inherently evil (or that ALL religions are evil).

as important as it is to understand that, i think it's also valuable to understand what religion can do for you personally and whether you want to hold on to it, change it, or let it go entirely.

because it's equally possible for religion to be something that grounds you and makes you a better person. it can be something emotionally healing for you, that gives you purpose and guidance and a space to feel connected to the world and to people. it can be something that inspires you to be kind and introspective and considerate of all people. and obviously, these are all things you can do equally without religion.

a lot of people seem to think that religion is the origin, and everything else—good or evil—comes out of that. but i don't agree at all. i think people always start with whatever values or worldview they want, and they use religion as a way to amplify those things. there's no such thing as a "good" or "bad" religion, there are only the views of the individual people practicing it. you can study the theology and argue about whether the scripture is saying this or that, but at the end of the day, each individual makes their own choices. and that includes you.

you ask who you can pray to, and i hope you know there is no shame in praying to the same god you have always prayed to, regardless of what everyone else in your religion is also praying for. you can also pray to a different god/set of gods altogether, if you find another religion that your heart and soul are drawn to. or you can not pray at all, and find other ways to express your hopes.

i think it's largely a matter of asking yourself what your religion adds to your life (or takes away from it). if you truly do find comfort in your religion and feel that it inspires you to be a good person, then i really encourage you to practice it and feel secure in that choice. you would be in a unique position to being love and acceptance to a space where it might not always be present. but if you find that your religion only brings you pain, then you are well within your right to leave (even if other people don't respect your right to choose, you ARE entitled to do whatever you wish).

it's not about having the "right" choice. it's about doing what you know will make you the kindest and happiest version of yourself that is possible. and you can take all the time you need to decide what to do, even if it takes years of reflection and experimentation.

you asked if it gets better, and i truly believe that it does. the most important thing is to let yourself sit with these feelings without shame, to know that you're valid regardless of how religious you are or what religion you follow, and to always center love and healing in your life. and also to talk about it and express how you feel/what you think when you are safe to do so. i hope you know that this is always a safe space for these conversations and that you'll never be judged here :) xoxo

1. what's the fic youre most proud of?

Honestly, my current longfic WIP (Lent From Tomorrow) is easily the best thing I've ever written, fic or original work. But I'm proud of most of my longer-than-a-drabble fics for something or another.

I'm very proud of the Five Places Cinna Came From for actually finishing the whole thing, and same with Milliefic.

(The longer it's been since writing Milliefic, the more I'm like, 'its only real redeeming value is having finished something of that length, especially posting as I wrote,' but that's just me letting Larries spoil my fandom experience, I think.)

I'm proud of every Big Bang or Mini Bang fic I've actually finished and posted. I think Not In The Answer But The Question is currently the best fic on my AO3, probably, although I do think that I had to flub the pacing on the last quarter to meet the deadline. I still to this day think that Valor Valeria and What They Don't Tell You In History hold up, and they're old as heck, so that says something.

I actually really love the Stereo Kicks/H*rry P*tter world crossover that @fille-lioncelle and I wrote? It's paced well, IMO, and I think we took a fairly unique take on that trope by making them all adults and out of school.

I love all of the Since Feeling Is First stories that @nichestars and I wrote, even though it drives the OCD part of my brain a little nuts that we're three words short of an even 100,000 on the series, LOLOLOL.

I don't know that there's any one fic that I'm like "THIS IS MY PERFECT MASTERWERK" about, because I don't do like, extensive rewriting or whatever on fic and I know that I don't quite meet any lofty goals of having Symbolism! or Theme! that I try for with longer stuff, but there are aspects of pretty much everything longer than a drabble that I can take pride in. I try hard to be gentler to myself about the quality of my output than I used to be, because being cruel to myself just made me Not Write At All, and that's the opposite of the point, so.

11. Has a fic you’ve written ever caused issues/controversy?

Well, the Fanlore page for the "Timeline of 1D Fandom" says that Milliefic created some of the Larrie Truther tropes, and I've accepted that even though I don't GET it because it's CLEARLY ALL MADE UP OUT OF MY DUMB HEAD, but that would count as causing issues, for sure.

Landslide got (and still gets) inane hate for having M/F sex scenes even though it's M/M endgame. WAYYYYY back in the day, I wrote an Alec/Clary fic before Alec came out as monosexually gay in the Shadowhunter books, and every so often someone reads it without seeing that it was written in like 2010 and they get angry about me making a gay character bi (which would be fair if I'd done it after he came out as gay, but ::shrug::).

I feel like I vaguely recall someone trying to stir up something about my THG fic when The Panem Companion was announced, but they're completely separate works that have nothing to do with each other, so I feel like if there WAS drama about it, I wasn't actually aware of it.

But yeah, Milliefic takes the cake on that one.

interview: TRENDZ wants to share their passion and energy with FRIENDZ through their music

After concluding the story from their [BLUE SET] series with their previous release, Blue Set Chapter. New Dayz, TRENDZ returns with their 3rd single album [STILL ON MY WAY]. TRENDZ shares more behind-the-scene stories about the album-making during a recent interview with global media outlets.

Q: How was the creation process for this comeback?

ra.L: I would say that the creation process of this album wasn't easy, but we are proud of the result that we achieved. During our hiatus, we had to work on the album while we were abroad in Indonesia, Kazakhstan, and Japan. We trusted each other and communicated extensively to complete the lyrics for the album. We practiced the choreography thoroughly together to achieve a great end result.

YECHAN: The music video for the title track was centered around a concept of a movie club. It was something that we have never tried before, so the entire filming process was quite enjoyable as well.

Q: What has been the most difficult thing in preparing for this comeback, compared to your other comebacks?

YOONWOO: While preparing for our previous albums, we usually had good weather, though it could get a bit chilly at times. For this album, we filmed the music video during the summer, so I remember all the members struggling with the heat. However, the director and the staff were incredibly passionate, which motivated us to give our best performance on set. I believe this commitment helped enhance the overall quality of the final product.

YECHAN: Singing on this title track was a new experience for me. I was mostly responsible for the rap verses, so transitioning to a vocalist's role with different gestures was a bit challenging. To prepare, I studied references from other artists and observed how my fellow members handled it. I conducted my own research to make sure I could perform the role effectively.

Q: Are there any little or subtle details in the music video or the songs that you hope your fans would notice, or would like to point out?

ra.L: In the "MY WAY" music video, the beach scene was a later addition. We filmed it ourselves using our cameras, and we're thankful that the director incorporated it during the editing process. The music video also includes nods to several movies. For example, HANKOOK recreated a scene with Gang Dong Won from "Romance of Their Own," while EUNIL and I reenacted the iconic traffic cone scene from "Her." Additionally, HAVIT and EUNIL brought to life a scene from a 007 movie. These cinematic references are scattered throughout the music video.

Q: How do you feel like you've grown as a group with this latest comeback?

LEON: While preparing for our performances, we used to invest a significant amount of time to get everything ready. However, for "MY WAY", we were able to efficiently prepare a high-quality performance in a relatively short period. Additionally, we put a lot of effort into studying the gestures that would help convey a sense of freedom in our performance. I think these are some areas that we improved on.

YOONWOO: I believe our group has matured significantly since our debut. For this album, which demanded us to convey a sense of dreaminess and youthful spirit, all the members dedicated themselves to rigorous practice. The outcome of our hard work is evident in our more mature and polished performances in this album.

Q: "MY WAY" is a very positive and passionate song. Can you give us an example of how you professionally and personally have plans of doing it, your way?

EUNIL: Our journey as K-pop idols is, in itself, a testament to us following our unique path. We, who were once strangers, came together driven by a shared dream and created an album that's loved from many, a true miracle in its own right. Our collective pursuit of a common goal is a wonderful journey, and it represents the very essence of "my way" that we're pursuing.

Q: ra.L and YECHAN participated in writing "MY WAY". What is the message you want to tell FRIENDZ through the lyrics?

YECHAN: As the message of the album is very hopeful, urging the listeners to come with us, we aimed to convey a similar message in "MY WAY", expressing our determination to overcome any difficulties or barriers that stand in our way. Therefore, we focused on writing lyrics that are very hopeful and optimistic.

ra.L: To add, the essence of "MY WAY" is the determination to persist on our chosen path, undeterred by obstacles and challenges. So, we tried to convey the message that, despite the pain, our youthful spirit will help us triumph over any difficulties.

Q: Since you have finished the [BLUE SET] series and seem to go to new direction with [STILL ON MY WAY], was the approach for song-writing for these songs any different from previously?

YECHAN: While crafting the lyrics for this album, our primary emphasis was on fostering strong communication among the members. I engaged in extensive discussions with HANKOOK and ra.L, assessing which parts would complement the song best and determining the overall direction. We also provided feedback to one another after listening to the completed rap verses. We would also talk to the vocalists of the team, ensuring a collaborative effort to achieve the highest quality outcome.

ra.L: Additionally, [STILL ON MY WAY] served as the conclusion to the [BLUE SET] series, prompting us to showcase a more optimistic perspective on our vocal and rap capabilities. We aimed to convey positive energy through both the music and its lyrics. Consequently, we devoted significant time and effort to practice and excel in the lyrics-writing process.

Q: Have you ever stumbled upon writer's block when writing the lyrics? When you encounter such troubles, how do you overcome them?

HANKOOK: I faced several instances of writer's block while crafting the lyrics for this album. It's a common challenge when aiming to create meaningful lyrics. Often, I found myself struggling to find the right words or expressions. There were nights when I dedicated myself to writing, only to encounter these blocks. In such moments, I didn't hesitate to pause and resume writing the next day. This break allowed my thoughts to refresh, and I often came up with better ideas when I returned to the lyrics. So, I wouldn't hesitate to call it a day when I got stuck.

Q: To all the new fans and listeners who wish to get to know more about TRENDZ, what is the best way for them to do so?

ra.L: Content featuring us is uploaded daily, providing an opportunity for you to discover each member's unique charms and appreciate the chemistry within the group. To truly experience TRENDZ, diving into this content is the best approach.

Q: "MY WAY" is emotional and a motivational song. What is your message to your fans and listeners who are having a hard time right now?

HAVIT: In this album, we aimed to convey a sense of freedom and hopefulness that comes with youth. When you're facing difficult times, we hope our songs can provide you with the energy and solace you need. Likewise, when you're feeling great or dealing with worries, I hope our music can uplift you and inspire you to do better. We want to share our passion and energy with you through our music.
