#literally stared at that post for a solid 3 mins trying to decide. absolutely agonizing #gx is really fun but zexals plot is better imo. and since its newer its generally better to look at as well #and nothing on this planet will ever be more iconic than keyshipping it cant be done #AND LIKE i wasnt kidding when i said i got crazy invested that shit had me SCREAMINGGGG at the vector reveal #cus i was livetweeting my first watchthru at the time and i happened to see a spoiler that was like #something about zexal having ''aliens that possess the bodies of dead kids''#and i had ALSO already been spoiled a little bit for vector so i was like ohhh thats gonna be the deal huh #IT WASNT...... housemate!suguru who does the dishes whenever you cook because he says it's only fair. he really really likes when you decide to help him out anyway or just stick around him to give him company (like sit on the counter and continuing the conversation from your shared meal)

housemate!suguru who also reassures you that you don't have to worry about any of the dishes when you want to bake (for whatever reason, whether its for the two of you or for others). THIS always makes your knees weak because!!! he's lingering around, just waiting and eagerly helping you and being a total sweetheart. he also loves taste testing!!!

housemate!suguru who cleans the apartment with you every sunday like you two are some married couple. the sun is shining!! music is playing in the background!! and you two are giggling with each other!!! he loveslovesloves having sunday resets with you because it's just so calming and it also is a way that you two bond. he's a very tidy person so he appreciates you joining him and putting in the effort to make sure you guys' home stays tidy and cozy.

housemate!suguru who (if you didn't know already) teaches you how to care for houseplants. it's a little hobby of his and he says that it makes the house look and feel more alive. that and he just enjoys the aesthetic (which goes hard for the tiktoks/vids that he's post??? this dude lives and breathes plant girl aesthetic)

housemate!suguru who pushes the cart when you two go grocery shopping so you can oogle as much as you want in the aisles. he always physically writes down stuff that he needs and, more often than not, you're the one who holds that list. it's sosososo cute seeing your thinking face when you look for stuff on the shelves. he also knows the thinking face you have for when you're trying to put things you both don't need in the cart--what doodoo excuse are you going to give him that he'll pretend to believe because he can't say no to you?

housemate!suguru who makes you carry the lightest grocery bags because you deserve no less. yes help him, but let him inflate his own ego by helping YOU (just pretend you don't see him telling his curses to help bring groceries inside). he also is the one to put things in the fridge away while you take care of all the pantry stuff. it just became routine at this point and suguru mentally giggles and kicks his feet at how domestic it is

housemate!suguru who rolls his eyes at gojo whenever gojo teases him about you, saying that "suguru's playing family with y/nnnn~" and "they always eat together, do groceries together, and even clean the apartment on sundays together!" and OF COURSE shoko is entertained because "omg? i thought you said you liked living alone?"

housemate!suguru who truly can't escape satoru and shoko, begrudgingly lets them into your guys' shared apartment after coming UNANNOUNCED!!!!! and you are of course thrilled to actually meet them and happily invite them for dinner. suguru is pouting and sulking the entire time because your "y/n and suguru" weekend plan to take a day trip to mt. fuji turned into a "y/n, suguru, satoru and shoko" weekend plan

This is my first time trying to make these headcanon type posts, be nice pls.

Content: Romantic/platonic dante x G/N reader, vergil x reader, nero x reader ...? Cause any scenario here can be taken in any way, relationship or friendship (cause what if ur aro/ace but still wanna do fun shi with your favs?)

Dante

Wants to lick the batter off the whisk, but you gotta stop him. The remnants in the bowl is free game, however

Insists on winging the recipe, says you gotta "feel" it

FLOUR FIGHT! Your peaceful baking session descends into chaos. You both end up covered in flour while the cake is in the oven

Despite him being good with his hands his cake decorating skills kinda suck ass

Its okay though, since you both tried your best and had fun, even if the cake looks like doodoo. It tastes good however... so it wasnt a waste after all

Hes a notorious frosting licker, you have to swat him off the cake like a fly.

If you bake something a pastry instead hes gonna poke the dough.

(Romance:) will lick the frosting/batter off of your hand or face if you get any of it on you while mixing.

Vergil

Im not gonna lie here, he miiight turn it into a bit of a contest.

His perfectionistic nature will push him to ultra tryhard it, even if it is just a dessert or pastry. He'll check the recipe constantly and will be careful about each detail (or at least try)

You remind him that you two are baking for fun and he calms down a bit, but he will still act as if hes competing in the great british bakeoff or some shit

Insists on frosting the cake for you, but only so he can show off how steady his hands are. (Even if he screws it up)

The cake ends up being too pretty to eat

Wants to try harder pastries and desserts, usually something fancy like a mille fueille

That doesnt mean you two will always succeed however, Vergil just likes to push his limits even if he fails.

He'll give you a warm smile as you two finish the thing youre baking. At least hes not so tense anymore...

(Romance:) he'll feed you a piece of whatever you two baked together, looking into your eyes and watching for your reaction, then kisses you to have a taste but go back to being his stonefaced grumpy self later like nothing happened.

Nero

Overmixes the batter because hes tense

Kinda scatterbrained, will forget to preheat the oven sometimes

Hes actually more tolerable to bake with than his dad or uncle, less tense and also less chaotic

He'll let you take the lead for this one, just tell him what to do or get and he'll go right on ahead.

Hes actually not so tense anymore, considering baking is a relaxing activity.

Will leave the decorating to you, hes not very good at it.

(Platonic:) insists on leaving some for kyrie, aint no way he wont give her any

(Romantic:) will always leave some for you, no matter how good it tastes.

You two wont be making anything too complex but whatever comes out of it tastes great and his presence will make baking feel like a wholesome activity.

You two tell stories to each other and get a bit distracted.

After driving down the busy street, he finally parks the car. Rushing into the broken looking building, he opens the door to a music producers paradise. Sound proof walls, lines after lines of buttons, levers, and other attachments.

looking around at first, he can’t find his friend. then, he catches a glimpse of fluffy black hair peeking out from behind the chair, rolling it out of the way. He finds his companion with his knees curled to his chest, hands in his hair.

“are you okay?” changbin whispers, to not frighten the man.

“I- … I just.. like-“ Stutters rush out of his mouth, as he tries his hardest not to cry. “I just feel- sick. I-I think I might throw up.” Shaky breaths leave through his mouth, a tactic to calm himself down.

His anxiety wraps itself around him, encasing him in his thoughts. He thinks this is so stupid. His relationship with her wasn’t even that terrible, but the falling out scared the hell out of him. Even within his friend group, he was supposed to be seen as one of the stronger ones. Supposed to almost hold them together. Of course, he doesn’t shy away from expressing his feelings, just the ones that may cause burdens to his buddies.

Changbin leaves him to drag the mini trash can next to his legs. He could tell a lot of thoughts were holding Chans head underwater, and he was determined to fish him out. He pries his hands away from his face.

“Please Chris, snap out of it.” watery and puffy, Changbin gets a long dazed stare. “I don’t know what to do.” Chan mutters through sniffles. “Its- I’ve blocked her so many times, changed my number, hell, almost changed houses, but she still manages to get a hold of me. I don’t know why she is so obsessed with me!” His voice starts to rise. “She was the one who cheated on me! She was the one who ended our relationship by doing that!”

changbin patted him on his back, soft circles traced by his palm, trying his best to comfort the ball of stress next to him.

“I can’t handle her coming back, Bin.”

you didn't purposefully go out of your way to raise your hand, only answering when you needed to, like when a professor called on you

and after class he would see you quickly pack up your things and scurry away

Riddle won't force you to step out of your comfort zone if you aren't comfortable with it. Once upon a time, he might have because of his tendency to stick to the rules. But now, I feel he's much more lax about you bringing your doll to class with you.

Leona Kingscholar

Leona? In class? What a rare sight to see.

the one time Ruggie forced him to go to class he passed out immediately on the desk, sleeping through the entire class.

by the time he woke up, everyone else was gone, except for you, who was staring at him trying to tug away something from his grasp

looking down, he noticed he was resting his head on what appeared to be a plush, the soft texture tickling his face.

releasing the plush toy from his grasp, he handed it back to you with a huff, going back to sleep almost immediately.

he wont openly admit it but that was probably the best nap he had all day. so now whenever he's feeling tired, he'll grab you by the waist, pull you into the botanical gardens, and force you to skip class with him

usually he'll grab the plush resting his head on it, but by the time he wakes up, it ends up with his head in your lap and you not being able to feel your legs cause they fell asleep

Azul Ashengrotto

Oh? Your favorite item? Perhaps you could strike a deal with him and in exchange he could hold onto that nice plush of yours.

Azul would be lying if he said he didnt try to gain the upper hand on you, seeing how fond you were of your plush.

After his OB, its evident Azul has a soft spot for you. He won't directly try to force you into contract anymore

He'll oftentimes ask you to swing by Mostro Lounge, looking forward to seeing you shuffle in, arms clutched around your plush.

Kalim Al-Asim

Kalim is an extrovert, so naturally I feel like he'd go out of his way to try and make friends, one of those people being you.

Like he deadass saw you at the back of the class, grabbed your hand, and was like, "you're my friend now :3"

he'll invite you to his extravagant feasts and such, making you out to be the guest of honor. However if you're not for parties, Kalim will understand, he wants to make sure that everyone is comfortable, so if you'd prefer to keep things on the down low, he'll oblige. He'll still be tempted to throw random parties in your honor though

Vil Schoenheit

You honestly never expected him to take notice of you, after all, Vil is like a shining star

What really caught Vil's eye was your work ethic. You're quiet but a hard worker, which he can respect.

It just puzzles him at times why you're reliant on the plush toy, after all, wouldn't it impede on your ability to do your work

he's moreso indifferent to the fact that you carry a doll, so long as you do your work,he doesn't rlly care

Idia Shroud

Idia has a lot of plushies and like figurines of his favorite anime characters so he can understand your attachment to carrying around something

he's also an introverted individual, so he won't outwardly approach you first, you have to be the one to initiate contact.

if you do end up talking with him at some point, he might just invite you to play games with him, and eventually he'll show off his collections to you, going into a hyperfixated state as he talks about each of his figures in detail.

Malleus Draconia

Malleus has lived for so long, so he doesn't neccessarily understand one's attachment to a material object. After all, it might end up breaking after a while so it's better to just keep memories of what once was.

but still you're his child of man, everything you do intrigues him. he practically scares off everyone with his intimidating aura so he'll hang out with whoever is willing to chill with him

though you don't say much, he finds your presence comforting to say the least.

My thoughts on Starfield:

First of all, I do really enjoy the game for all of its flaws. Just want to get that out of the way first.

It is, from toe to tip, a Bethesda game. For better or worse. It definitely has a very Fallout-esque flavor. As a big fan of Obsidian's The Outer Worlds, I can't help but compare the two and they are similar in a lot of ways. We are definitely having cowboy times in space doodoo do doo. That's not a bad thing though. I think it's easy to see influences from all sorts of sci-fi sources throughout the game. We've got space miners on asteroids, rag-tag space pirates, slick corpos, uptight military leaders, and the aforementioned independent minded space cowboys. Pick a trope from a popular title and it's in there. We've even got space drugs made from fish!

Technical downsides? Menu upon menus within loadscreens within menus. It's fairly quick, but it just takes you out of the action. So you wanna fly to another planet? Sit in the pilot's seat. Tiny unskippable scene of you sitting down. Menu to take off pops up. Cinematic cut scene of you taking off plays. Now you're in orbit. You might have a random encounter in orbit, peaceful or hostile. (Some really fun ones.) Open your main menu. Go to the star map. Find the star system you want to travel to and select it. Click Jump. Cutscene of your ship doing a FTL jump to that system. Load screen. Now you're in orbit in the new system. Open that menu back up to scan the planet and find a landing site. Etc etc.

ORRRRR you can pick a planet you've already been to, or from your quest log, and just fast travel there from the main menu and never fly in space at all. ??? Aside from kinda defeating the point, you have skill points to level up how much cargo your ship can carry that requires you to make FTL jumps. And BY GOD will you need cargo space.

The game does not explain things well. I guess Todd was tired of hearing about how Skyrim was too "hand holdy" because this game doesn't tell you shit. Once I played for a while I figured things out or I just looked them up online. I also watched a couple of Gameranx videos before I started playing. (I 💜Jake Baldino and Falcon.) That helped tremendously.

Speaking of not telling you things... there are NO city maps. The cities are huge with lots of buildings and shops you can explore and people you can interact with. Good luck memorizing them, bitch. (You'll get used to them eventually, honestly. But I'd kill for a map.) Planets have a surface map but it will only show you a very condensed local area with specific landmarks highlighted on a blank blue background.

There's a lot of really funny stuff in the game that has made me LOL and I want to shout out the writers. Just kooky jokes and silly encounters. Had a pilot hail me to make a Uranus joke. Dead. Had another ship invite on board to party. Very fun.

I personally have not encountered any major bugs to speak of. I thought I did on my first mission but I was in the wrong place bc the game didn't tell me where to go bc fuck maps. I did lose some weapons bc of bugged weapon racks on a ship I got but they weren't anything special. I haven't seen any floating mammoths or anything.

The leveling system is not my favorite. There are a ton of things to potentially put points into from pistol damage to carry weight to how well your ship steers. When you put a point into a trait it unlocks a "challenge". For example, I put a point in security, so until I unlock 5 locks I don't get the bonus from that point. Then once you complete the challenge, the bonus is activated and the next level of that perk is available to unlock. The problem is for some of the combat perks, you're going to be making pistol kills (or whatever) that aren't counting towards your perk bc you don't have a point to unlock the next level. Or maybe you forgot to go into that menu 30 minutes ago, or didn't realize that perk was done. Bethesda said they were trying to keep players from getting too OP and having too many perk points but damn. It sucks bc base building is also limited by perks.

Base building! Ok so this is a mash-up of Fallout 4 and No Man's Sky sort of... kind of. Apparently your main objective is to place bases on planets to harvest valuable resources like Helium-3. Considering that I already have more companions than I do places to put them, I was looking for a place to assign these folks so they'd stop pestering me on my dang ship. You can build bases right from the get go, but certain things are blocked off until you have a couple of perks unlocked. I always need more perk points. Ugh.

There are 4 companions you can romance. I immediately started flirting with the cowboy single dad. He looked boring before the game came out, but I'm 100% a sucker. He has a southern accent and a raspy voice and calls his daughter "gumdrop". He's like a 15% himbo. One of his voice lines after I looted a corpse was, "To the victor go the spoils... Did I say that right?" Shut your mouth and kiss me. AND! His baby mama is NOT dead. I won't spoil it, but it is refreshing as fuck!!

Yes, I did unlock the Adoring Fan from Oblivion and add him to my crew. How could I not?? He's everything you could possibly imagine and more. 11/10

I'm a ways into the main story but these are my take aways without any real spoilers. It's fun. It really is. I'm a loot gremlin and Beth outdid themselves with the lootables on this one. So yeah. I like it. It's pretty much what I expected.

seafood crème soup 🦞

i wasn’t planning on this soup, it kinda happened last minute and i am not particularly proud of it. it also looks like poopoo so no finished dish photo sorry (；ω；)

ingredients:

i do think you can use any seafood you like, probably will only make the taste more interesting! but i used

mussels

krill (i also learned that its a pretty uncommon thing to eat krill??? these are small shrimpies canned with some oil)

of course i used cream, when don’t i use it

potatoes

a big carrot 🥕

seafood was fried with some oil and then i added cream and simmered on low heat for dome time. the veggies need to be boiled in salty water (preferably cut and peeled but if you want dirty earthy taste be my guest)

when vegetables are boiled, safe a couple of cups of the water. i only kept one and it wasn’t enough, better be safe than sorry !! blender all this stuff up, adding water. this is the step that made it all look like doodoo, my soup had a very mushy texture because of the lacking water. wouldn’t say it affected the taste but my neurodivergent ass wasn’t enjoying the consistency so please SAFE MORE WATER in general, but i mean from the vegetables.

the dish can be topped with garlic oil, and i also used some paprika, mostly because adding it to frying mussels did nothing lol.

again, not rooting for this one, but if you feel interested i am glad! maybe you have some ideas how it can be bettered, feel free to advice me! thanks, peeps 🐭

Now that we’re getting into winter and Christmas, hot chocolate is something that people are making more.

Hot chocolate never impressed me. I dont know if its the autism, or i never tried the right hot chocolate, or just plain old superiority /j, i never liked instant hot chocolate (aka the only hot chocolate ive ever tried). I’d add whipped cream, mini marshmallows, but it just never did it for me.

When i imagine ‘hot chocolate’ i imagine a decadent, rich, creamy, thick, delicious blend of chocolate flavors that warms you from the inside. However, it never lives up to my expectations.

To remedy this, i have made it my mission to create the most delicious hot chocolate from mix.

So, in a pot i threw together:

Half and half

Hot chocolate mix (swiss miss)

Half of an 85% dark chocolate bar

About two teaspoons of cornstarch

At this point, I realized that i added too much cornstarch and it was more of a pudding so i added a bunch of more half and half. I also realized it tasted like fucking air (i could barely taste the chocolate) so i also added some sugar and semi sweet chocolate chips.

This was the result:

Its not entirely bad. It tastes like what chocolate pudding would taste like if it was good. Its thick, creamy, but not exactly decadent and maybe only middle class wealthy rather than rich. The top kinda solidifies so everytime you have to take a sip you bring it to your lips and you have to suck on the chocolate balloon until you can actually sip your drink and then it leaves a little bit on the top of your lips like a terrible doodoo mustache. Also, there are a few chunks of what i assume are cornstarch chunks in it, that have the texture between pudding (again) and tapioca pearls with erectile dysfunction. It also leaves gunk all over my tongue, which is a thing that happens with nearly every drink i like other than soda in water.

In conclusion: i need to try again.
