In a class full of so much vibrancy and light, (quirk related or not) he took comfort in the darkness that emanated from you

finally he had given an ultimatum: ask y/n out, or else dark shadow would do it himself

while tokoyami has decent control of dark shadow, he knew he wouldnt be able to have his guard up any time he was around you, so off he went into the night

he had asked you out on the dorm roof, where you were sat admiring the dark night sky

when he asked, you smiled at him, and took the black rose he offered you

that rose still sits in a glass jar on your bedside table

While Tokoyami may not be the most excitable guy that doesn't mean he isnt a romantic

hes just, less romantic in the big displays of affection way, and more in the jack and rose way

the Romeo to your Juliet, without the suicide

he's the type to write you long winded poetry about how much he loves you or give you weird items that had some sort of romantic significance in medieval Europe

he also loves when you wear his cloak

hes spent many nights watching YouTube videos for goth makeup so he can help you with your eyeliner when youre super tired in the morning

sometimes he'll try on your platforms and walk around your room so he can feel tall for a bit

overall, he is the best goth boyfriend you could ask for
