Which Jaune ship is ok with threeways and which ones arent? Do they do stuff like that often or just once in a blue moon kind of thing?
I’m always surprised when you ask these questions for some reason lol😅
More often than not I imagine War of the Roses sharing an apartment. Weiss, Ruby, and Jaune all have separate rooms but it’s fairly common somebody is in someone else’s. Occasionally everyone wants everybody at once. Maybe like twice a month or something? Chances increase if someone walks in to a pair having fun in the living room.
In Twin Snowflakes au I’ve written that Weiss and Jaune have a colorful history with Blake and Yang that was definitely frequent in their youth but fairly rare now that they’re full blown adults with kids. Still, it happens if the opportunity to relive some memories presents itself. Yang and Blake are pretty persuasive and Weiss has always been particularly defenseless against Blake’s antics.
Nora feels like a team player to me lol. I think anyone could make a situation where it’s Jaune, Nora, plus a third; man or woman. It’ll be chalked up as a life experience or a wild moment. It’s a random and unpredictable occurrence but a core memory. Then there’s Nora’s Boys of course. Probably the most common. They can call it team bonding lol.
I’m not going to explain Lasting Embers AU if ya know, ya know. Honestly I can’t decide to say it’s Jaune having a Tai moment or Yang is simply the best woman in every aspect as well as her father’s daughter. 💀
I think that’s it. Generally I think if it’s something like Knightshade or Arkos as a base, it stays that way. Same with Dragonslayer 90% of the time. Those couples don’t have the desire/attitude/temperament to experiment that way.
Neo probably wouldn’t care. If it’s fun, interesting, and gets him stammering then she’d probably do it.

I request Steven Grant the love of my life helping a reader that got lost in a library. (It’s happened to me more than once…I needed a hug after I got out.)
Kitkat this is so cuuute hehe these are my spooky thoughts (SFW) on this idea:
You were once again lost in your reading, nose buried in a random title that caught your eye as you perused the shelves of your favourite library again
this library wasn't the most popular in your area, but it was still your favourite, despite the rumours about it being haunted
Steven had texted multiple times when you were late for your dinner plans, nothing special just some good food with your favourite guy
conveniently, the restaurant you had chosen was right across the street from the library, and this was not unintentional on your part. You knew he would be coming from work, and possibly late, so instead of waiting around at an empty table, you were going to wait for him in the comfort of the books around you
Though you were lost in the story you were reading, you still were somewhat aware of your surroundings... enough to notice when the temperature dropped enough for your skin to develop goosebumps... enough to notice the flickering of the lights in the corner which you were sat at... enough to notice the eerie quietness that blanketed the library, even though moments before you could hear the soft chatter and beeping of the librarian behind her desk. Come to think of it... she was nowhere to be seen. Everyone had left. The library seemed utterly empty except for you, whereas moments before... you could've sworn there were several people shuffling about.
A random breeze runs through you, and you feel cold all over. Quickly shutting your book and leaving it behind, you weren't in the mood to fight whatever meddlesome kids (or potentially real ghosts) were messing around at this late hour. Maybe the rumours were true!
Making a run for it, you felt disoriented, trying to find the exit in your haste to leave but the lights were playing tricks on you and maybe you made a wrong turn at some point because suddenly you didn't know which way was right. Until you hear his voice.
Steven called out to you, his voice distant but very clearly Steven. You tried to follow the direction from which it was coming from to find your way out of the dark, the leaning towers of books more intimidating than usual.
Blindly running and calling out to him, he kept yelling your name, making it easier for you to find him in the dark. Your frantic voice making him worried, Steven's own voice started mirroring the urgency in yours.
You collided into his chest before you knew it, his arms coming around you comfortingly. Steven cooed at you, holding you close and whispering that it'll be okay, rushing you out of the library doors into the night.
Steven kept his arm around you until you reached the restaurant, trying to comfort you as you told him what happened. He only laughed when you said that you weren't going to go in there without him again.
He also didn't complain about your neediness for the rest of the night, adamant on burrowing your way into his side. He only hugged you back, secretly content with your clinginess.

Why you should vote for Seamonkeys
(The poll in question)

They actually genuinely have one of the most interesting dynamics, or at least my favorite. I'll be talking about things from the books here
Sun has taken off without his team to go to another kingdom not once, but twice (the first time was when he left early to go to the Vytal festival)
The other members of the team, Sage and Scarlet, are rightfully angry at him after the second time and try to separate themselves from him, but Neptune does NOT. This is even remarked upon a few times by other narrating characters such as Velvet.
It’s implied he is angry, though, he’s just not saying it because he wants to be around Sun again
Between the fact that he hides his "nerdier" interests, the whole thing with not being able to dance, and most importantly the fact that he avoids his semblance and is even afraid of it, it is easy to say that he is someone who has troubles expressing himself, to say the least
Therefore, his refusal to be outwardly angry at Sun to "keep things normal" could be seen as part of his problem expressing himself
In the flashback near the start of the book about the glowing golden tree, Sun is shown wanting him and his cousin to be able to find a place to stay, and then he sees the tree and thinks that it would be the perfect place to make a home. The memory of that tree is what he thinks of to center himself every time he uses his semblance. Therefore, Sun deep down wants to be able to find a place to call home. The fact that he's always moving from place to place means the he, also, is avoiding his real self. They're twinning ^_^
Then there’s this
This random, oddly cinematic shot that lasts like five seconds, that uses probably the most important bit of imagery in rwby(the sun and moon), which specifically has a romantic context in the show(bumbleby, ozpin and salem, and arkos). I wonder what that could mean.
Other things:
There's just like..... some kinda poetic things that happened in general. Like Sun leaving both times on a boat, which means Neptune wouldn't have been able to go with him even if he'd had the chance to.
Sun had black(/gray?) eyes in volumes 1-3, matching Blake, but from volume 4 onward he has blue eyes, which match Neptune. Neptune's goggles are yellow, matching Sun. And just like yellow and purple are opposites on a red/yellow/blue color wheel, yellow and blue are opposites on a red/green/blue color wheel.
Neptune's introduction includes Sun taking a long look at him from the legs up, after which he basically admits Neptune is good-looking (so he checked Neptune out)
Tbh, if Neptune was a girl it'd be pretty obvious the show was going in the direction of seamonkeys. It's that trope where the girl waits for the lead guy to stop chasing after the girl that isn't right for him and they get together at the end.
Look at how Neptune smiled when Sun said "it was never about that, brainiac"
Please just consider what volumes 4 and 5 would have been like from Neptune's perspective. Please.
Lastly, there's just the fact that like half their bits in rwby chibi have to do with making fun of how gay they act, and/or neptune specifically(things like him liking musicals, using moisturizing cream, etc)
ALL OF THIS IS TO SAY that Seamonkeys DEFINITELY deserves to win this round. They have at LEAST as much going for them as the other ship in the poll(name omitted to keep this out of their tag), they'll almost definitely be in volume 10, and also they are my special guys. So vote for them if you love me.

Hey I'm trying to find a Arkos tumblers post I remembered about Pyrrha being a SCP and the ability to read minds and cinder and emerald were researchers and testing abilities by taking a random civilian which is jaune into a containment room and then jaune and Pyrrha has a conversation I also remember the post having a part 2 and part 1

Yearly RWBY Writers Collab
It is time once again for the yearly writers collab!
Here's how it works. You sign up and are paired at random with another author.
You will then write at least a 2 chapter story based on a picture from a talented artist.
The first month is sign ups. If you need to drop out at any point during this time just let us know
Once the sign ups are done you'll be given an option of what picture you want to write a story for.
Discord is preferable for partners as that’s the easiest way for me to get you two in touch but if you both have tumblr or another way to work it out that’s also fine.
Pictures can and will be comissioned for each pair with various prizes being awarded for groups that finish their stories! Prizes are a secret until they're completed.
There is no time limit on this only that you finish it at some point.
Whether you and your partner each write a chapter to go with the other or just collab for both is up to you!
The fic is to be gifted to whomever the artist's picture you're writing a story about is.
Sign ups are June 5th to July 5th
Pictures will be given out as the coms are done/ July 5 unless they come in sooner.
If you want to participate as an artist feel free to let me know and we'll get your work involved!
This is open for WR, Arkos, Renora, BB, Jaune/Jessica etc (as long as background WR or WR+1 are in it, WR+, etc. Essentially WR or WR+ must be in the background at least even if all they do is greet the other main characters once.
When you sign up please let me know what you will/won’t write. Ie if you can’t stand Arkos and wont’ write it let me know. If you won’t write anything but WR let me know, etc.

So Bumbleby is canon, huh? Well, as someone who used to ship them back at Beacon, all I gotta say is...congrats. It took CRWBY ten years to confirm it (a bit too long, if you ask me), but it's nice to know that they are finally together.
Now if you'll excuse me. (walks over to a sad Sun Wukong and Jaune Arc and places a hand on either's shoulders) C'mon you two; I know a place where the drinks are cheap and the music's good.

Gonna ramble about arkos in my rewrite for a minute (I want everyone to know I keep the canon ships as is I just alter things slightly.) Because they've been on my mind and watching the justice league/rwby crossover got me thinking:
For everyone: in this au Pyrrha is team leader and secretly more egotistical and cut off from others though she uses her canon personality as a cover, jaune is a gulible/friendly/supprotive hometown boy who joined beacon because every year Ozpin picks one random teenager to accept in to become a hunter hoping to craft a hero from nothing. There's a low survival rate but some do survive.
Imagine if Jaune's affections for Weiss never made it past volume 1. She gives a very calm, very to the point talk to him about how he doesn't know her and how unwelcome his advances are. Having 7 sisters and being raised properly means he bows out and accepts that he acted too quickly.
So through volume 1 and part of 2 we get him and pyrrha growing as friends and both of them shifting from their initial opinions (pyrrha viewing him as a simpleton/puppy and jaune viewing her as just his leader and friend) towards something neither quite expected. They go to the dance together, pyrrha thinking it was an intentional date and Jaune not understanding his own feelings awkwardly saying "friendship date" several times. Something that bruises Pyrrha's ego yet she's willing to let go once he comes crying and apologizing for not realizing her feelings or his own.
They become our first canon couple. But they don't kiss. Specifically because jaune gets embarrassed every time something potientially can happen and Pyrrha isn't the type to chase. When Pyrrha is informed she's expected to become the maiden it's not worry so much as pride she starts exhibiting and Jaune can tell but is saddened when she avoids being honest with him about what's going on. He's not perceptive but he starts to see through her facade and understand her. Even barely.
Penny's death is the first time we see Pyrrha's composure falter. She's also very controlled in battle. Nothing goes wrong. And yet to all watching she just killed another student. When the groups reconvene she's not acting right. Her callouts for attacks are wrong. She's getting agitated, her own fighting is stumbling. And Jaune is trying to help. He doesn't understand but he's there for her. The way she's acting is scaring him but he figures they can talk about it once they get to safety.
In the mean time he is her partner so he won't let her go anywhere alone. He goes with her and Ozpin to the maiden. Again he doesn't understand but he knows she'll tell him later. He has to believe she will. The death of the Fall maiden shatters her composure more. She becomes desperate. But Ozpin forces her out. She allows herself to get far enough away, to look for an opening. As her and Jaune stand there knowing Ozpin lost and Cinder is still there she internally decides to reclaim her victory.
Jaune is the one who kisses her. Starting to understand how she thinks. Hoping that getting her to focus on the people around her will lead to her running, because she doesn't think she can die. But he is painfully aware she can.
And things follow the same, she gets him out of there. Shows him a slightly unsettling grin and says she'll see him soon. Runs into a fight she's positive she can't lose, only to die in the process of it. The Pyrrha Jaune was only beginning to see, that he still wanted to understand.

Pyrrha: *slowly gets up and walks face-first into Jaune’s shoulder* …how do you do it…? I’ve trained for the arena for years and fought Grimm bigger than our house, but I’m so tired after one day at home with my own son…! 😭
Jaune: *wraps Pyrrha in a hug* Don’t worry, Pyr! It just takes some practice! Besides, it’s only until you get another huntress job and get back to being a hero!
Pyrrha: *mumbles into Jaune’s chest* …If you can do this every day while I’m at work, you’re the REAL hero…!

Character I find most attractive: ....Not sure. Winter, probably.
Character I would marry: Yang would treat me right.
Character I would be best friends with: Idk Yang again.

An unpopular opinion: RWBY isn’t bad, you’re all just silly.
My Canon OTP: Canon as in “have feelings for each other” Bumbleby. They’ll be gfs soon enough.

Most Badass Character: BLAKE!!!! GIRL STABBED HER ABUSER !!!!
Most Epic Villain: Salem ofc.

a random thought/unpopular opinion: Tai is a bit too disrespected by the fandom. I do think he messed up, but he's not a bad person. And I love rosebird angst, but I 100% believe that Tai and Summer loved each other! I don't know why people don't seem to believe they were a couple? or that they both loved Raven more and were just stuck together, or weren't happy together.
