Chapter Summary:
The following night was spent the same way so many in recent weeks had been spent before it.
Restless. Insomniac. Anxious.
After hours of tossing and turning, he eventually gave up and walked over to the windows at the edge of his room, to watch the ethereal sight of a 2-am-dyed Parisian street.
He could tell that she couldn’t sleep either. It was the string, among his many thoughts, stresses, and anxieties, that was keeping him up. It too was restless.
He wondered to himself if she was looking out now onto Paris, just like he was. Maybe resting her head on her arms, which had been laid before her on the fence of her balcony. Her mind just as filled and worried as his was.
“Adrien,” Plagg said, breaking Adrien out of his longing revere. “You have to talk to her, you need to talk with Marinette.”
