gonna give up on telling anyone who isn't apsec about my squishes. can't fucking trust anyone anymore to just shut up and believe me. I'm sick of being treated as if I'm delusional or stuck in that stupid trope of "person insists it's just platonic but later realises they're in love romantically".
I'm a human being, not a character from some fiction story.
I know what I feel. I spent years questioning it, I don't need my own friends to start fucking questioning me too.

I want to make an Aspec playlist, I have a few songs in mind, but I want other's input on music!!
The songs themselves don't have to be explicitly Apsec, that helps of course, but it can also be a song that you interpert as Aspec!!
There is no limitations to songs, I want to try and encompass the whole of the A-spectrum. Aromantic, Asexual Aplatonic, QueerPlatonic, Afamilial, and every microlable you can think of!!

Hihi!
I hope this is okay, but I'd like to write a queerplatonic horror story, is there anything I should definitely not include or make sure to include? I know queerplatonic relationships are very fluid and each relationship is unique, but I'd rather know since queerplatonic relationships get so little (if any) representation.
Also, are there any fears that could work with queerplatonic relationships? The question doesn't make sense, I know. Think of it like trans horror, it works great with body horror. Is there a type of horror or fear that works well with queerplatonic relationships?
Things to include:
-Make sure the relationship level and commitment is the same as that of a romantic relationship
-a strong relationship between the partners that doesn't fit the lines of platonic and romantic- ofc there may be elements of both but not strictly one or the other
Things not to include:
-you may have aspec characters in the qpr but don't add in anything that makes it seem like only apsec people can he in qprs
-don't make it seem like they're just close friends
Fears:
going off what i have heard from others, a fear that their partner will fall for another romantically, a fear of their partner leaving them for another kinda deal

In my experience the best way to find other apsec people in the wild is to first admit you are aspec. Obviously not a safe and open option for everyone but if you have the means and the confidence it’s fun to unlock more aspec friends from the wild unexpectedly
#aka I met another aspec person the other day because I was casually like#‘yeah I’m aroace so I feel like that influences my prespective on this topic a lot’#and the guy who I had literally just met was like ‘woah we’re the same’#and I was like ‘FOR REAL????’#and then we bonded over aspec experiences for a bit#I could also just have a lot of luck#my NM friend has many times been like ‘why do all the aspec people seem to live in OH you know so MANY’#and she knew only one (1) that wasn’t me ajskakskksks#🤷♀️#anyways I’m not meeting a ton of aspec people or anything#but being out and comfortable talking and bringing it up to strangers has definitely helped me find more#it’s good practice trying to talk about it casually in conversation#by yours truly the omelette of cheese#aromantic#asexual#aroace#also I realize this is probably a no brainer but it’s fun#when you realize the stranger you’re talking to actually shares a lot more in common with you#or when old high school or college acquaintances reach out to you as another aspec person
