HAPPY (late) RIKI DAAAAY!! wishing the happiest and sweetest birthday to our lovely riki. celebrating by writing all my lovely ni-ki stans a little headcannon. enjoy!

- you and riki had been introduced to eachother by mutual friends. he for some reason found himself always wanting to impress you each time he saw you. thats how he found out he liked you.

- the weird feeling he would get in his chest when he saw you was actually just the butterflies. even if he didn't want to admit it. so, one day after talking to jake for a really long time about his feelings he finally got the confidence to tell you how he felt.

- he honestly was ready for rejection so when you told him you were also interested in him, took him off guard. he probably would need a moment to register what exactly to do next. but from that day on you guys just assumed you were dating without any proper question. you both admitted feelings for each other.. so you guys just assumed thats how relationships start.

- the first date would probably be to a movie in the park or maybe a shopping run that turned into a cafe and boba date on accident.

- riki is usually very private about his relationships.. however, if someone gets on his nerves he plays the "at least im actually dating someone!" card to rub in their face that he managed to find someone who loves and cares about him.

- he's a mean boyfriend, meaning that he will tease you, poke fun at you and play pranks on you because thats how he shows his love. however, you must retaliate in return if not its not fun.

- sometimes when you're walking down the street while holding hands he purposefully trips you and chuckles when you stumble only for you to try and trip him back. this usually leads to you guys almost tackling eachother in the middle of the sidewalk.

- he also finds it funny when he holds his hand out against your head to stop you from getting closer to him. he's tall and has long arms so he thinks its funny but after a while he gives in and pulls you close.

- you know he loves to mess around and tease you however, no matter how much he playfully bullies you he's actually very protective of you. lots of his jokes come from a place of love. however, if someone else were to make fun of you the way he did he couldn't find it funny at all.

- despite how playful he is. he would die for your touch. he loves melting into your arms and holding you. believe it or not he's a lot clinger than you'd imagine.

- in private he's putty in your hands but around his hyungs or anyone else he tries to play it cool.

- he draws you things on any serface if you give him enough time and a writing utensil. they're usually cute drawings of a couple that he says are the two of you. he leaves these little doodles on your shopping lists, notebooks, sticky notes, white boards.

- when you visit him while he's at practice he gets so excited because he loves seeing you when he's in his element. he shows off just for you and asks you if you thought he looked cool while dancing.

- riki finds your height difference to be extremely cute. he loves pointing out how short you are compared to him. he loves feeling tall around you. please ask him to get things off the top shelf.

- he's going to ask to borrow your hair tie, and never give it back so he can wear it around his wrist or keep it on his nightstand as evidence he's with someone.

- something you noticed is that he'd "accidentally" leave his shirts or hoodies at your place in hopes that you'd wear it. and when you do he melts a little inside.

- when shopping he usually likes to take you with him so you can tell him what you think about clothes. he wont buy something you don't like. if you're not with him expect pictures of clothes on him or facetime calls for your opinion.

- riki loves hearing your voice so even when he's sleepy from a long day working, he'll call you just to hear you talk about your day. his deep raspy voice usually just humming along to your words to let you know he's listening.

- most times he ends up falling asleep with you on call, regardless of if it's a video chat or regular phone call. he feels comfortable enough to do that with you so it's sweet. plus he works so hard you can't possibly be upset.

- he gets a lot if his dating and relationship advice from jake because in his eyes he thinks he's the most romantic. so most big romantic gestures from riki is usually something jake told him to do for you.

- pda is a big no for him, maybe simple hand holding or a quick hug would be okay. but he gets way too shy to actually kiss you or be overly touchy with you in public.

-but, he does like to see you wearing his clothes or matching shoes with him. its a little cheesy but he can't get enough of it. it's a little nod that you belong to each other.

- on his phone your contact would be something like "my loser." or "nerd." something not too romantic incase someone takes his phone and makes fun of him for having such a lovey dovey name for you.

- his home screen is a picture of you though. you're not looking at the camera and it's kinda blurry but he knows it's you and he loves looking at the candid pictures he's taken of you. loves it so much that it makes one of them his hime screen.

- riki loves thrill especially thrill rides so even if you don't like them he would drag you to ride rollercoasters or fast rides with him.

- he does love to kiss you though. after the first kiss he was addicted and is always looking forward the next kiss. however he would die inside if anyone every caught you both kissing.

- arguments are something unavoidable. especially when riki can be a little bit of a hot-head about things and prideful. he kinda sucks at apologizing or talking things out so space from each other usually helps you both cool down.

- after a couple days you both realize how much you miss each other and end up forgetting why you were upset with each other in the first place.

- a fault in him is saying yes to anything you want to do or ask for. sometimes he doesn't realize what exactly he's agreeing to. this has gotten him into a lot of very interesting situations with you. like ending up in the salon next to you getting his nails and toes done, or taste testing weird herbal teas, or even getting his hair dyed to slightly match yours.

- after a long day, you both just melt into the sofa and scroll on your phones for hours. just watching tiktoks or something similar. occasionally reaching over to show each other something funny.

- if you're not doing your weekly tiktok scroll with him on the sofa, you're probably cuddling and watching an anime. you guys take turns picking which one to watch. its also a nice way to spend time together since he loves to order food and make a date night out of it.

- when going out with you to a place where theres music and dancing involved. regardless on if you can or can't dance he would pull you to dance floor to dance with him. a big smile on his face as he watches you move and enjoy yourself.

- he is so supportive of you no matter what. he would promote your projects you choose to do regardless of what it is. he always has your back, and encourages you to do what you love.

- just expect impromptu dance parties while listening to music. you guys could be chilling and having music in the background when he pulls you up and just playfully dances with you.

- when watching a romance movie and they do something cool, like kiss under stars, or set up a romantic camp site, or something of that nature he can't help but look at you and say "lets do that."

- he would never tell you, but praise goes such a long way with him. he wants to hear that he's doing well and that you're proud of him. so when you vocalize it he loves it.

- in the beginning of the relationship he says things like. "saying 'i love you' is so cheesy." only to be the one who says it over and over later in your relationship. when you wake up, when you part ways for the day, when you go to bed. all the time.

- riki would also have a polaroid of you on the back of his clear phone case because he thinks it's cute. and regardless of how old the photo is he wont change it.

- overall, riki's a sweet but, mischievous type boyfriend. he lives and breathes for you and wont let you forget it with how much he playfully annoys you. there is nothing he wont do to make you happy or to hear your laugh that he loves so much.

It wasn't often that Blade strayed outside the mission.

Just as the sword he wielded, Blade cut through his missions with precise cuts, following Elio's script like law. While Kafka and Silver Wolf would take liberties with their scripts, going off to shop or to fight, Blade stayed at his designated spot, staring blankly at the clock until he was called upon once more. He never did more, never did less.

So to see him gazing off into the distance, a hint of a smile on his face, was definitely out of the ordinary.

"What's on your mind, Bladie?" Kafka asked, her pupil-less eyes peering at her partner from behind her drink. "It's rare to see you so... restless. Has the mara been bothering you?"

Blade shook his head, a disgruntled sigh escaping him. His gaze reached past Kafka, focusing on the silhouette of your person as you chatted away with Dan Heng.

Kafka hummed, tilting her head as she played with her straw, mindlessly stirring her beverage. "Hm... Then is it them?"

Blade's fingers stilled. Kafka smiled, knowing she had hit the spot.

"So it is," she mused, stifling a giggle as Blade shot her an annoyed look.

"They're talking to him," Blade muttered, laying his hand flat against the table. Surprisingly, the mara did not strike, nor did Blade become irritated. His voice was gentle, soft like the breeze.

"Indeed they are," Kafka took a sip, licking her lips at the burn of alcohol. "Do you wish that was you, Bladie?"

Her teasing wasn't lost on the man, but he didn't bother with a reply.

"No," Blade murmured, resting his head in the palm of his hand. The artificial sunlight of the Xianzhou bathed you in a heavenly glow, your carefree laughter a sweet symphony. "I wouldn't dare disturb such beauty."

And yet, it seemed as though fate had glanced his way, just as you had. Your eyes met with his, and you smiled, waving at him. Blade's heart thudded in his chest, and for a moment, life returned to him.

His hand twitched, wanting to return your greetings, but the rough drag of his bandages stopped him. Blade averted his gaze, hiding his slowly flushing skin behind his palm.

Kafka snickered at his predicament, quickly snapping a photo of his flustered state and sending it to the other Stellaron Hunters. Instantaneously, Silver Wolf sent back a vomiting emoji, while Sam excitedly congratulated Blade on his newfound emotions. Elio didn't reply, he never does.

"Aren't you adorable," she cooed, turning her phone off and tucking it away. "You know, I doubt they'll mind if you just walked up to them."

Yes, you certainly wouldn't mind. However, your very disturbed friends would.

"What are you doing?" Dan Heng hissed as you waved to the Hunter, grabbing your wrist and snatching it down. "You know how dangerous that man is."

"But isn't he so cute?" you chuckled, the tips of your ears flushed. "Besides, he hasn't done anything to hurt me yet."

"Yet being the operative word," Dan Heng sighed in exasperation. "I hope you didn't forget how he threw a sword through me."

"I try not to think about it." You stretched back your arms. "Don't get your tail in a twist, Dan Heng. I'm just being friendly."

"That's not what your face says," Dan Heng commented, poking your cheek. "I can still see you mooning over him."

"I am not- mooning over him!" you objected, swatting his finger away. "I was just... thinking."

"Of course you are. Thinking of the man who stabbed me, that is."

"And he looked good doing it- Dan Heng!" you yelped as Dan Heng elbowed you. Your friend only crossed his arms, raising a brow at you as you glared at him. "Alright, alright, fine. I just- I know I shouldn't like him, but..."

"There's a but in this?"

"His arms are really toned, okay? Have you seen his muscles?"

Dan Heng gagged, pretending to throw up over the railing. "Far closer than I'd like to admit- Point being, he's a wanted criminal."

You stared blankly at him. "So?"

Dan Heng stared back. "What do you mean, 'so'?"

"I can fix him."

The only words you could use to describe Dan Heng's face was pure disappointment. Swiftly, he turned on his heel, and promptly walked away from you, quickening his steps as you chased after him.

"Hey! Where're you going so quickly-"

Dan Heng stopped for only a moment, his expression unreadable as he glanced back at you. "I don't talk to people who kiss wanted criminals."

A Redemption Earned Ch 24

Heather Dunbar x reader Warnings: language, tiny bit of smut eluded to, thats about it.

Heather let herself into your house using her own key, her coat and blazer getting hung up by the door while she stepped out of her shoes, her bag finding a home on a spare chair in the living room. She padded through the space, following the sound of music into the kitchen where you were at the stove, your back turned to her as you focussed on dinner.

“Hey.” You greeted, barely glancing over your shoulder, “you’re early.”

“I decided to call it a half day, no cases anyways.” She replied, wrapping herself around your back and pressing a series of kisses into your shoulder and neck. You let out a happy hum at the sensation, spatula finding a home on the counter before you turned in her arms so you could greet her properly, kissing her gently.

“What?” You asked as she gave you a perplexed look, her hand raising to your temple.

“You experimenting with new makeup styles?” She asked with a grin, plucking a gold star sticker from beside your eye and you laughed.

“Oh, I totally forgot that was there. We turned science into trivia today, kids actually remember things and it’s far more fun for everyone.”

“And stickers make everything better, I know.” She repeated your words from back over Christmas back to you with a light tease, “how about we put this somewhere safer?” Her free hand wrapped around your wrist, pulling your arm up and placing the sticker into the inside of your forearm, the same place you’d put one on her months prior. “I ran into Rob, he said you had lunch with Becca?”

“How was that?”

“Good. She found Lily on Instagram; they’ve got a couple of mutual friends which doesn’t surprise me too much.”

“No. Just followed her and figured if Lily went through her account at all she might be able to put it together.”

“Did you look at her account at all?”

“That’s good.” You smiled and Heather returned it, “you wanna crack a bottle of wine?”

“Red or white?”

“Your pick.” You turned back to the stove as the timer went off, pulling the rice off the burner. Heather plucked a bottle from the wine rack to compare to a bottle of white in the fridge and then let out an audible groan.

“What?”

“I need your help with something.”

“Picking the wine?” You laughed, “you’re the connoisseur here.”

“No.” She shelved the red, pulling down two glasses to fill with white considering you were cooking shrimp. “Aside from the whole Cody thing, sessions recently have been focussing on my need to constantly be in control and I’ve been left with some homework.”

“You don’t sound too excited about this…”

“Starting tomorrow morning and until Monday morning I’m not allowed to make any bigger decisions that aren’t solely for myself.”

“Interesting….”

“So you, Becca, Rob, whomever has to decide how we spend the weekend, where we eat,” she picked up a wine glass to pass to you, “what kind of wine goes with dinner… and this extends to in the bedroom as well.”

“Oh?” you raised a brow, taking a sip of wine.

“To a limit.” She held up a hand, “don’t get any crazy ideas.”

“I am more than well aware that I will not be strapping you, don’t worry.” You laughed, stepping forward to kiss her cheek, “we can talk boundaries and a safe word after dinner?”

“Thank you.”

Heather smiled softly, her hand stroking at your cheek when she pulled you back for a second kiss, as apprehensive as she was about this task, she knew it was one that she could trust you with. She watched you flick off the second burner and she pulled down a couple of plates from the cupboard, helping you plate up dinner and following you to the dining room. You caught each other up on your days, Heather more talking about lunch with Becca than work since she’d begun to get bored with going into the office all the time now. She said that Becca hadn’t been too surprised at the news of Cody, though she hadn’t know anything about it. Her and Jordan may have only been a year apart but they were very different kids and didn’t hang out or talk personal too often if at all. She was curious about meeting him, excited about being an aunt and of course had teased Heather about being a grandma.

You updated Heather on Cody, how he was doing with school and integrating with the new class. At first she had insisted that you not get tangled up in everything, that she felt bad about it and as much as she loved finding out these things, she didn’t need you to be keeping track of things. You reminded her that no matter what happened, you would be stuck in the middle, you were Cody’s teacher, Lily seemed like someone you could be friends with, and you were her girlfriend. You gave her hand a little squeeze to assure her that things wouldn’t get too messy, no matter what her past experiences made her think.

She talked a little bit about her session that afternoon, her therapist’s thoughts on Cody and how to gently approach things. You were always extremely happy to hear Heather talk about therapy, that you were someone who was privy to what went on and was talked about in those sessions. You knew there must be things that she didn’t bring up with you, and you didn’t mind that. You were still open and honest with each other and every so often she would ask you to join her, sometimes on her therapist’s request, sometimes on hers, and each time you would. It was a level of trust and security that you’d never experienced before and you were more than ready and willing to go.

Heather helped you tidy up after dinner, doing dishes and setting coffee to be brewed the next morning. You couldn’t help but smile at just how comfortable she was in your space, how well she knew her way around, it was just natural, and it was the same with you at her house. Your lives had been very much intertangled since New Year’s, favourite mugs finding homes in the other’s cupboards, spare phone chargers left to always have at the ready. Favourite pantry and fridge staples always around to add into meals and dishes (Heather preferred siracha while you couldn’t live without Valentina hot sauce). Both of your closets were now a mish mash of both of your wardrobes, casual around the house comfy clothes, some errand running outfits, work outfits hung neatly, and a few fancier pieces for date nights. You were even currently on a one week at your place, one week at hers schedule, and it just worked for both of you, having that time around your own space but also feeling at home in the other. You weren’t constantly together, occasionally work taking priority and one returning to their own home, or someone simply needing space. Heather understood that sometimes at the end of a long week surrounded by loud children, you just wanted to burrow into your own couch in silence with a good book and be left alone. You on the other hand understood when, even if you had plans, a session was particularly heavy or hard, that she would much rather return to her own space and be alone to work through it.

There still were days where things like this happened and you still returned to the other’s house, wanting to honour the agreement and the love you shared while still being alone. There were nights you would come home to Heather’s on a Friday, silently kiss her cheek and then make your way upstairs to a guest room, the doorbell ringing with pizza half an hour later. The next morning she would let you sleep in and not bother you until you came to her, pressing a kiss to the top of her head and asking how her week went. There were days when you were both spending the week at your place, and as much as Heather wanted to retreat back to her place, she also wanted the comfort of you. So she’d show up, exchange a little bit of small talk before retiring to one of the spare rooms, you’d ignore the fact that you knew she was sneaking onto the back porch for a cigarette and let her have her peace. There was a high chance she was up hours before you, meeting Rob for a walk, or jogging by herself before making the two of you breakfast and you’d start your weekend. Overall, you were managing the balance incredibly well.

On top of intertwining your lives in that sense, over the past month, you’d been added to the family group chat. There were a couple of different ones on the go, but this one was just you, Rob, Heather, and Becca. And that chat was pulled open as you and Heather settled on the couch with wine and your preferred tv binge of the month.

Heat:

‘Any big plans this weekend?’

Becca:

‘Sarah’s out of town, so absolutely nothing here.’

Rob:

‘Weather’s supposed to be garbage so I was just planning on a few chill days with Steve, what’s up?’

gosh.. omi.. jisung brainrots r so real.. on my way home i was thinking abt this one comment i saw on tiktok about him? and it was something about how Jisung admitted to crushing on people easily..? not sure if thats true!! but! ill pretend it is!!

WHICH HAD ME THINKING. jisung reads webtoon & watches a bit of anime.. and we all know anime openings r SO GOOD. SO SO GOOD. and one day hes watching this show, and when he hears the opening hes like 🤔🤩. So of course he adds it to his playlist.. a few days later he finds himself listening to the whole discography.. which leads him into googling the artist. (spoiler alert: its u!)

a few days later, he decides to go live.. while reading the comments he gets asked for a song recommendation. and hes like.. “actually i’ve been listening to these songs often..” and he ends up just going on a little rant abt the readers songs ><

his fans find that he has nearly every single song the reader made added to his playlist.. a certified stan!

one day mark and him were at the gym, and mark could heard jisungs music blasting out of his headphones. so naturally mark asks about it, googles the artists name and teases him. “oooh you guys are the same age”

“stop being weird..”

a week or two later nctdream has been invited to an event with many other artists in japan. and as they prep for it, mark realizes that jisungs lil celebrity crush (you) was performing the day before their performance. mark lets jisung know about this, and jisung goes, 😲😲🤩🤩🤩.

when they all arrive at japan, jisung immediately asks the staff to visit the venue the day before their performance; in hopes of witnessing his favorite songs (and you..) live. once he gets the OK he couldnt be more excited. purchases VIP tickets and makes sure hes able to arrive so he can stay by the barricades.

Finally, the day comes and when you step on the stage he instantly becomes enamored. (u cant tell me idols never have idol crushes because who could resist any of them..) the singing, your stage presence, your charm is just irresistible to him. and he SWEARS he goes insane once you make eyecontact with him and wink. IDOLS ARE THE BEST! quoted by jisung himself.

after that event, he clearly gets why the audience goes insane every time an idol just breathes.

YOU! on the other hand are performing until a pretty masked face with dark blue hair catches your attention. all of a sudden ur stealing glances and approaching his section more often. after the performance theres a sendoff! and when jisung is face to face with u, he cant help but get all shy and nervous. he gets a selfie and your signature and best believe thats gonna be his wallpaper.

the day after, reader decides to spend their day off watching the other performances in the venue, and notices how theres a familiar, blue haired performer. jisung swears he sees a familiar silhouette in the crowd but believes his eyes are playing tricks on him..

though after the performance, he opens his phone to find you following him back on insta.

(extra!! reader finds little clips of jisung swooning over their music. very cute!!)

so. the show ended in.. 2007. and. god the last episode sucks so fucking bad. bad enough that the fandom as a whole collectively agrees it does not exist it never happened . phantom planet isnt real phantom planet cant hurt you if you dont look at it or think about it ever. i could go on a whole. rant about how much phantom planet sucks but instead ill just say butch hartman (<< creator of the show) is a fucking. annoying awful person and he was greedy + wanted more money from nickelodeon than they were willing to give him so they gave him a hard limit on episodes before the shoe would be canceled. so. season 3 goes downhill SO fast and ends with the fucking disaster that is phantom planet . and !!! you know how disappointing it is to have your facorite show have a garbage ending!! it sucks!! so then there was like. a HUGE HUGE long silence where there was. 0 canon content bc hartman considered it a flop and kind of just. abandoned it until he wanted clout (there were a few gameboy games that came out after the show ended + some nickelodeon games that included danny as a character + butch made a youtube channel where he would spout absolute death of the author garbage about the show every time he wanted attention but it was mostly dead silence) UNTIL. AGIT. A GLITCH IN TIME IS THE FIRST CANON SHOW COMPLIANT CONTENT THAT HAS BEEN RELEASED SINCE 200 GODDAMN 7. FUCK . and not only is it canon compliant it is ALSO A CONTINUATION OF MY FAVORITE EPISODE IN THE WHOLE SERIES.

so. my favorite episode. is ultimate enemy. it was one of the 4 movie-length episodes and the basic premise is. danny uses his ghodt powers to cheat on a huge standardized test and this sets off a butterfly effect reaction that leads to a timeline where his family + friends get killed in an explosion and he loses his mind and turns into the worlds most powerful villain <3 you can see why i like it so much im sure (<< guy who has a documented chronic weakness for stories where a good guy turns bad etc)

SO AT THE END OF THE EPISODE. Dan (the evil future danny) is trapped and locked away forever . but at the end of the ep theres a scene that hints to a possible future episode where he escapes !!!! so there was always a teased sequel but this sequel was never created due to aforementioned. budget issues and cancellation. etc. buggest disappointment of my life. UNTIL AGIT !!!!!!!!!!!!!

it was released. july of this year . and i am just reading it now bc its been burning a hole in my bedside table bc it never felt like the right time to read it until this morning for some reason. and fuck its so good its literally everything i wanted.

i dont know how involved butch hartman was in the creation of it but the author (gabriela epstein) is obviously someone who cares deeply about the show and the characters and im so fucking happy about it she did an incredible job. i literally had to pause a handful of times in the first few pages just because the characters and dialogue were written so well and it was like SUCH a breath of fresh air (the fandom is. so bad. its so bad. because its been around for so long people have such insane warped takes on a lot of the characters and its become completely unbearable to me ive had to block the tag and its so painful. this is literally the only reason i am not reblogging dp content constantly. i have to filter it through artists i know can handle the characters properly. if i was not nerfed by the awful fandom it would be 24/7/365 dp lockdown and id be so unbearable) OH ALSO not only is agit a continuation of my alltime favorite episode, it also retcons the garbage pile that is phantom planet in a way that acknowledges that it was a real thing that happened but going back on it in a way that feels so so so so natural for the show. so it wasnt a throwaway "no that was bad lets forget about it" it was a well crafted well thought out "this was real and it sucked and the characters remember it BUT we can play with timeline so things will continue as normal" and . holy shit it was so fucking good. i will begrudgingly acknowledge phantom planets existence if only for agit.

We’re both artists, so we met on deviantart through the same fandom. I found his writing and fell in love with it quickly, and was absolutely enthralled he did art too!! R very quickly got bumped to the top of my list of People I Want To Show Appreciation For So Much That They Always Feel Seen By Someone

It was just something I liked to do, whether it got me any attention or not, I really didn’t care. I just like showing people love because I know how incredibly lonely it is to go ignored, especially with art. Typically most people appreciated it but it didnt go much further than that

We talked more and more in a very mutuals way. I made a joke character to tease him, but my sense of humor was making the Most Handsome Character I can imagine and making them obnoxious as hell. The little circle of fandom we were in got really hyped about this new character of mine and it was just pure fun

We started roleplaying via notes, as you did back in the day tm. It was fun and we kept it up every day

R being my friend was the catalyst for a lot of change, including slowly coming away from the familys tight-knit toxicity, discovering that I had trauma, discovering my DID(again, it took me two or three more times discovering it to accept it).

He’s just so safe, and the perfect candidate to be the first person to talk to Bunny, who was a part that could only exist when we were safely alone.

Hes smart and gets my silly and harmless humor. His writing style meshes well with mine, we love all the same story elements. Our characters fit together like puzzle pieces. He wants to listen to what I have to say. Our art matches in a lot of specific ways I like

Over time I’d accepted that I could be alone forever, didn’t need a partner, so long as I could be close to R. I missed him all the time yet we hadnt met yet. He felt the same way. Apparently thats falling in love!! We started dating and it was obvious pretty quickly how serious we were about being together and making it work

Soooo yeah 💛 now we’re engaged! I havent seen him in person for 3 years now and its killing me slowly, but we work on our relationship every day so we get through it.

Im really hoping to see him again soon > < we’re planning for me to go see him in wintertime, just everythings been on halt because I’m in moving to unknown no destination yet purgatory currently

Its late morning in the Village Of Shadows.

Lord Lazaro Dimitrescu woke up by the sun hitting his eyes, with a loud sigh he opened his eyes and blinked a few times to get used to the light.

His hand gripped the somewhat dirty grey trenchcoat,It was one of Lord Heisenberg's(his husband), and he pulled it closer to smell the woody scent it gave off, he could also sense tobacco and a faint hint of iron smell.

--Lord Lazaro? Breakfast is ready-- a maid called from the other side of the rooms entrance.

--Be there in a moment-- lazaro answered still groggy.

Sitting up he stretched trying to relieve all the soreness on his muscles.

After taking a relaxing bath, he got dressed.

Lazaro looked himself in the mirror, Brown hair in a bun, wearing a beige italian cut suit and pants, dark brown shoes and a long scarf hanging from each side of his shoulders.

Soon he made his way to the dinningroom, where he ate his breakfast with his sisters , who just like him, were just waking up.

--So, brother-- Daniela asked,sipping from her green tea-- any plans today?

--Im hoping that ill be able to spend the day at the factory, I miss Karl...

His younger sisters cooed-- well thats just Adorable-- cassandra added.

--I know, I also was planning on making some lunch for him later today-- he checked the nearby grand-father clock-- Ten in the morning. I should start thinking about what to Cook...

--Good morning, dear children-- Lady Dimitrescu greeted, stopping her sons pondering-- May I ask what you are talking about?

--Weeeell~ Laz here is thinking about what to Cook for Lord Heisenberg-- Bella teased nudging her older brother.

--Oh, is that so? Its a good thing the pantry got Re-Stocked today, have you decided what to Cook yet?-- Alcina asked kissing each of her childrens forehead, to then sit at her spot on the dinning table.

--Ciorba de porc, perhaps, its been getting cold lately-- Laz answered finishing up his breakfast-- I better get to working then, ill see you all later-- he gave a kiss on the cheek to each of his family members and ran to the kitchen.

After some hours of preparations it was all done, soup,Fresh bread and wine, all in a beautifully adorned basket covered by a deep crimson red cloth with the dimitrescu insignia on It.

And so off he went, shapeshifting into a beautiful peregrine falcon, passing through the Maiden Of War statue and the Windmills past Moreau's reservoir flying over the sluice gate , Lord Salvattore Moreau himself even peeked his head under the water to say hello to his friend, and then soon Lord Lazaro arrived at Heisenberg's factory.

He landed gracefully infront of the entrance gate, and before he even though of knocking the door was opened. Chuckling he stepped in and quickly made his way to his lover's living chambers.

There, he found Lord Karl Heisenberg hunched over his desk loosing his mind over some blueprints.

--My Dearest?-- Called out Lazaro, leaving the basket on the nearby kitchen

--Ah! Mein herz! (My heart) hello, what is that you got there?-- karl asked pointing at the basket with his pencil.

-- Lunch, for the two of us-- the other Man answered--So, how about you and I cuddle up in bed and enjoy some good Ciorba de porc, wine and bread togheter?

A little stunned by the gesture, Heisenberg nodds,unable to talk properly as he stood up from his desk and helped serve the food.

Soon they were in bed, cuddled up with an old romantic movie, eating their lunch.

--Ah, Lord of the summer harvest, your kindness is as big as your heart, I am honored for such delicious meal-- Karl teased pressing a kiss to his lover's temple.

--Well, Lord Heisenberg, I appreciate your complimented-- lazaro teased back kissing his husband's jaw.

They left the trays on the floor, Laz climbed ontop of heisenbergs chest and nuzzled his neck.

Lazaro giggled growing some roses on karls hair, softly kissing each of the scars on his face, cupping his cheek with his free hand.

Then, he heard the familiar clinking sound of metal, there was a beautiful mechanical steed, floating just besides him

--You always make things for me, I figured I should return the favor...-- the older Man said sheepishly

--I-, well, thank you, my love-- laz thanked kissing his lover, feeling His arms go around his waist and pull him closer.

--Stay the night, please-- Karl Begged.

--I Will, ill stay as much as you want me to stay-- Alcina's son reassured,caressing his husbands hair,soon hearing the little growls of appreciation he let out.

--The Lord Of The Summer Harvest knows how to give good scratches...--Heisenberg Joked tightening his grip around laz's waist-- I havent slept for a while-- yes i know I have to sleep. But ive been up the walls with this one Panzer that just wont work!

--Well, how about I stay here for a week, you take the week off and we can sleep all you want?

The intensity of the Agni Kai and the near loss of the prince brought all the feelings you’d tried your hardest to stuff down bubbling up to the surface, and when katara left to fetch bandages from Appa’s saddle you tearfully professed your love for Zuko

The feeling was mutual, and so he pulled you in for a tender kiss. You were in love, and though you didn’t know what the future held you knew that you could overcome any obstacle as long as you had each other

The obstacle of telling your friends about your relationship, however, was perhaps the most challenging of all

You wanted privacy and time to figure out just how your relationship would work without the prying eyes and ceaseless questions from your friends, so you decided that, for now, the nature of your newfound relationship would be kept a secret

But, of course, you and Zuko are terrible at being subtle, and though you hadn’t wanted it to happen, the Gaang found out

It was an accident, really.

The turmoil in the earth kingdom had brought you all back together, and considering it would be rare for you all to be in the same place at once after the war you decided a sleepover at the palace was in order. A night spent telling stories, playing games, gouging on food, and falling asleep together like you all used to during your nights of traveling

However, it was morning when things took a drastic turn

Half asleep and forgetful of the presence of your friends, you greet Zuko with a good morning kiss on the cheek and an affectionate ruffle of his hair

“Sleep okay, Zu?” You ask with a sleepy smile, one he sweetly returns

“With you by my side? How could I not?”

The shattering of Sokka’s bowl of breakfast is what shatters your perfect morning, and the two of you stiffen as you realize what you’ve done

“What the heck was that?!” He exclaims

“Are you guys dating?” Katara asks curiously, a knowing smile on her face

“What? No!” Zuko sputters

“Liar,” Toph replies

“I can’t believe you guys kept this from us!”

“I can’t believe Zuko can be so sweet. It’s so.. oogie.”

“Shut it,” Zuko scowls, and you take that as your cue to calmly step in for your boyfriend. “We just wanted some privacy to figure things out ourselves before we told you guys. We didn’t mean to hide it from you.”

“Well, for what it’s worth, I think you guys make a handsome couple,” Aang notes with a small smile

"Yeah, and we're really happy for you, Zu," Toph teases

after that it's constant teasing whenever you and Zuko so much as look at each other

it's a little weird to see his softer side, but the gaang definitely prefers it more than his temperamental side

you make each other happy, and in the end thats all that matters to your friends

I really love the poly headcanons they are so sweet.... (or don't but that's part of it and i think the tot boys+MC deserve all the love the world has to give).

But, liking it or not, our 4 beloved boys are kinda complicated (that's what makes them perfect). Plus I never thought about how people get in poly relationships. So i was thinking, how do you think they all get into a polyrelationship together?

(I really have no idea of how that would happen)

hi, two anons!! im glad you guys liked my nxx team polycule stuff!! i'll answer these in one go, my "headcanon" (in quotes because i think this kinda turned into a character analysis/minific of sorts HAHA) being what first anon asked, How They Get Together.

heads up, wc of this is 1.9k words long so buckle up for a bit of a read jfsjdfkjbf

because first anon, youre right!!! the boys are stupendously complicated which i love so so much but canon has also shown us clearly that each of the boys' quirks and habits and tendencies causes a lot of (mostly played for laughs) friction. the bickering, the backhanded insults, the "im the best one here" preening contests. theyre all SOOOO RIDICULOUS and it is hilarious but yep! the boys r complex!! and that means this beautiful ship, imo, has a lot of phases to get to the actual romantic relationship bit.

how they get together, in my opinion, starts because of mc.

not in the sense that she matchmakes them all, but like.

phase 1 of the nxx team polycule is this:

through being in love with her (which we all know the boys 100% are), each of the boys come to terms with their own flaws and weaknesses. it's very apparent to me in all the story thus far that these boys are flawed as hell, it's very compelling but even more compelling to me is how all of them also do intense mental gymnastics to Not Confront Those Flaws. like, marius is a dickbag always teasing and toeing the line of insincerity, vyn is a controlling mf who always tries to sway situations to his benefit, artem is so repressed to the point that he has genuine trouble with emotions, luke is a self sacrificial bastard and also a huge hypocrite about how no, actually, hes the only one that should be hiding his pain and being dishonest, no dishonesty from other people!! in the beginning of the story, all the boys have their flaws and seem to have just kinda...not addressed how those flaws are harming them and the people around them.

and then mc rolls around and they all fall in love with her. and she sees those flaws and she doesnt let them slide. she challenges the boys in her own ways to see another side of the situation, to acknowledge what theyre doing. she doesnt want to get rid of flaws, thats impossible and also not cool. she just has this beautiful hope for like, all of humanity, that goodness can prevail with the right work. so when she sees her beloved nxx boys, she believes that for them as well.

which leads to phase 2 of the nxx team polycule:

the boys, more aware of themselves, become more aware of each other.

they werent Unaware of the others of course. it's just that they didnt like...truly connect on a personal level just yet. they saw the other teammembers with their emotional armor and flaws and saw a wall that wasnt worth looking past.

but after mc makes them realize that hey, flaws arent the end of the world actually, it's alright and the person behind them may just be worth it, the boys like. end up understanding the others. A LOT OF THIS BIT IS UNINTENTIONAL, ON THEIR PARTS KJDSBFS. like they stumble into understanding each other by accident, they didnt plan it, but over the course of nxx investigations, it's inevitable that they end up seeing the depths of the others. i delve into this a little bit in my fanfic "filler eps of the lost gold" where the boys are just going thru their actions and then trip over another boy's fears or desires and through that, gain a deeper understanding mutually.

and with understanding, sometimes, comes trust.

phase 3 of the nxx team polycule goes like this:

everybody in this team, whether they like it or not, whether they know it or not, has a heart that wants to give love so desperately.

marius lives in a world full of snakes so he cant have his heart on his sleeve for his own protection. vyn wants to be seen as perfect and the heart is inherently messy so he holds it back. artem for a very very long time was focused on work and success and achievement that he neglected his heart. and luke has been giving love all his life in a sense but in a way thats hidden.

all these tendencies that are brought upon their life circumstances results in this: they want to love honestly but they havent been able to do this

until mc. and all of them want to push back whatever fears or patterns their life has instilled in them because they see her and see somebody so unwaveringly good that all their hearts begin giving love to her to make her happy and to make themselves happy as well.

but heres the thing. the boys dont just see mc. by this point, they have connected and understood and come to trust each other as well, and the consequence of that is that They Can See Each Other Now Too, Truly.

and heres the thing. all of the boys are unwaveringly good as well.

one by one, each of the boys realize that what they feel for the other boys in the team starts to...change. yeah theyre all friends, they pick on each other a lot of the time, but the bedrock of the relationship is solid and strong now. but when marius is with luke, marius sees a light inside of luke so bright that he seems unaware that he gives off. when artem is with vyn, artem sees a goodness inside of vyn that hesitates to make itself obvious and known because vyn is scared of getting hurt thanks to it. all of them see the other and their goodness and, unbidden, their hearts want to give love to each other as well.

and because theyre all a bit stupid in their own way theyre like, huh, weird! wonder why this feeling is so familiar! and yet i cant seem to name it...and then they all independently compare these feeling with the feelings they have for mc, a feeling they do know the name of, and theyre like.

WAIT.

THESE FEELINGS ARE...VERY BASICALLY EXACTLY WHAT I FEEL FOR MC.

which only means one thing: theyve fallen in love with everybody else

marius: //goes to his studio to Think and sees that a bunch of his recent art actually had little crumbs of these feelings already, etched into the brushstrokes and scenes. has an emotional crisis about it

vyn: //records a 1 hour long entry in his audio diary to examine and gain control of his feelings but by the end of the hour all he knows is that he wants to hold these people and be held by them

artem: //quite literally just bluescreens, artem.exe has stopped working, sits at his study and slowly, slowly, thunks his head down onto his desk, valiantly trying to ignore the fast pulse of his heart

luke: //manically vents about it to peanut who, by virtue of being a bird, doesnt get it. just keeps talking at peanut to get a grasp of it all and then lies down on the floor, overwhelmed

mc, sitting in her apartment watching some netflix: ...why do i inexplicably feel as if something very, very important has just happened?

phase 4 of the nxx team polycule is basically:

pining: extreme difficulty level

because pining is already hard when ur pining for one person. what more for an additional 3 more people. and those additional 3 more people are pining back.

and all these boys are SOOOO OBVIOUS with their romantic feelings, in their own special way. the way they show their affection to mc starts to bleed into their interactions with the others and everybody can CLEARLY SEE WHAT IS GOING ON, LOL, but also all the boys are too chickenshit to confront it, because if they confront it, what will even happen??? being in love with each other, all of them, thats going to be such a complicated fucking relationship, holy shit. it's 2030, yeah, being a polyamorous group relationship isnt completely unheard of, but sue them, theyre scared.

but mc (who i forgot to mention already knows of the boys' romantic feelings for her, shes just hasnt made a move yet on any of them because SHES IN LOVE WITH ALL OF THEM AS WELL and shes been trying to figure out how the hell to make that work, she cant bear to choose just one of them, she'd be heartbroken over leaving the rest of them behind) sees that the nxx investigation team is now all pining for each other FULLY and she kinda wants to laugh when she realizes whats going on because like, what are the chances? that this would happen? that they all found each other and their feelings fell into just the right place for nobody to be left behind?

theyre all scared, she can tell. and she is as well, she wont lie.

but shes always had a belief that goodness can prevail with the right work.

and love is one of the greatest goods out there.

phase 5 of the nxx team polycule:

It's Time For Communication, Baby!!!!!

the exact scenes of how this happens is a bit vague to me. it could go two ways: mc going to each of the boys independently to talk about feelings, hers about everybodys and his about everybodys as well. OR they have a fucking meeting about it all together and artem literally schedules it in his google calendar, or something.

either way, they like, actually talk about this. starts casual, maybe over a chill date, maybe over dinner at a nice restaurant, maybe over a walk in the park as the sun is starting to set. but where ever it happens, the end result is the same: a heart is laid out bare and it is taken in gentle, grateful hands.

marius: OKAY, NOW THAT THE FEELINGS ARE OUT OF THE WAY, CAN I PLEASE KISS ONE OR ALL OF YOU, PLEASE, IVE BEEN WANTING TO KISS U GUYS FOR FOREVER

vyn, laughing fondly: has anybody ever told you patience is a virtue? we quite literally just talked it all out.

marius: //needy whining noises

artem, embarrassed: ive...never kissed anybody before

luke, embarrassed but trying to play it Cool: ....same here

mc: kissing is great, you two will love it!

marius: awesome, awesome, so is ANYBODY going to give me a go ahead or WHAT????

phase 6 of the nxx team polycule:

i dont want to say it's happily ever after, once they all get together. thats not really realistic.

they all have their quirks and tendencies and habits. and those will inevitable clash against each other. theyll have their arguments, theyll get upset, theyll sulk and be angry, sometimes. but also...

theyll see each other smile and feel like their love shining so brightly. theyll reach out for another's hand and be held in such a way that makes them think that their heart is in a safe place. theyll love each other and theyll put in the work to continue loving each other. because goodness will prevail.

and they all see each other as the most good people in the world.

so whatever happens, theyll get through it together.
