(omg kalis user jason todd means filipino jason todd— okay yes ik it's a kris and that talia gave it to him and that a kalis is longer, sword length, but let me be delusional for a moment)
fanon and ao3 would have you believe that dick would be reaming bruce out for his behavior in batman: under the hood. it is a delight to rediscover that though dick remains #1 batman arguer, he has not done anything of the sort in regards to how bruce has treated jason's return.

i lied in the post title, btw. i actually have only one main thought about this run.
i have a proposition to make, batman fandom: dick is actually more wary of Jason then bruce is.
i think—dick heavily dislikes jason for always being able to uncover the old wound. i think as someone who's been there since the start, has seen bruce through his best and his worst, cannot stand this grinning spectre upending all the progress bruce has made with his grief. and! i think a part of dick has always felt unsettled that even he couldn't completely heal that grief. and the one person who could do it (he thinks), the one person who is against all odds alive to do it—what does jason do? he needles the wound open. he won't let it rest. he beats up dick's little brother. he sows chaos all over gotham and dick's new city. he saw bruce drown in the self-destructive depression for years and the one person who might have helped ease it in a way no one else could is too busy cutting a bloody swath through various cities.
i think, also, that this—detachment, if you will, is aided by the fact that dick and jason did not know each other as well as they might have. jason was taken in after bruce fired dick, so nightwing was still taking off solo. they have been able to connect and dick and jason have very cute interactions pre-ditf but it's a drop in the ocean compared to dick and tim's relationship.
there is also, i think, a disconnect between robinjay and red hood jason—his little brother died with robinjay, and whoever the red hood is is almost a stranger
He's someone from a long, long time ago. Black sheep of the family, as it were. His name is Jason Todd. He thinks he's me. This may sound crazy, but... he's supposed to be dead. Twice over.
"from a long, long time ago." and like i said, there's this almost detachment from dick, no (positive) reminiscence of jay's robin days. i do think that dick, wrt jason, is mostly unrestrained by past sentiment—or at least he's better at separating that sentiment than bruce, who although tries to remain objective in his chase against red hood, is also notably shaken, to the point that jason was able to force his hand & drive him to panic, leading to half-thought, panicked decisions that a level-headed batman would not have made (as i think we are all in agreement that bruce would not actively decide to disarm his son via batarang to the throat, especially considering his no-kill rule.)
there's more i'd like to say, but this is most of it—i don't want to drown the dash with batman rambling, but im asking yall to consider it. think about how delicious this dynamic is!! there's so so much to explore!!! and i think it really hammers home just how much the world has changed during jason's death & disappearance 🫣

i adore jason's reaction to blüdhaven blowing up in utrh. he's like "my god... 😮 is nightwing there? 🤭 imagine that 😗" HE'S SO SILLYYY. bruce is anguished, having a Time because his exploded son is back from the dead just in time for his other son to also (possibly) die in an explosion—as jason says, "one son returns from the grave as another enters it"—and jason is GIGGLING. i hate him so much <3

STAYING AT HOME WITH THEM – arataki itto, xiao, and zhongli
When you announced your day off to Itto and that you're willing to help ITTO out on the farm, your husband was ecstatic! It’s been so long since you’ve spent your entire day with him, and although he insisted on spending a day with you on “the coolest date you’ll ever see provided by yours truly”, you preferred staying at home. And who is he to deny his sunshine’s wishes? Plus, he’s super sure his farm friends would be happy to see you!
It’s fine if you’re not exactly as skilled as Itto is in taking care of the farm and the animals, he gets it! He knows what it was like being a beginner – he was one back then when the two of you moved in after his retirement, so he’ll be there with you in every step of the way and make sure you don’t mess up as you feared you’d do.
Watching your husband talking to the animals is endearing, you admit. It puts a smile on your face as Itto talks to Ushi and the others about how his “awesome spouse in the entire world will be taking care of them all with him for the day”, as said animals let out a noise in response.
With your husband, doing all the tasks was a breeze and fun! There was not one moment where you found yourself not laughing and enjoying your time with Itto. It was all you need to get away from your busy workload, a day with your number one husband who always makes you the happiest you can be.
By the time you both finish, the two of you then eat your husband’s best homemade ramen (it’s a miracle that you haven’t gotten tired of eating ramen) and spend the rest of the day relaxing with movies, board games, and of course, each other’s presence. There’s nothing more that makes Itto happy than to know that you enjoyed your day with him. 
XIAO is delighted when you told him you’re taking a day off and is willing to do whatever you want together for the day – only to be lowkey surprised when you suggested to just stay at home instead. Hence how the both of you spent the entire day in your peaceful home happily together.
You felt happy waking up for the first time without your repeated alarms, with Xiao waking up at the same time as well. The both of you decided to cook lunch together to start the day, specifically you and Xiao’s favorite food, talking about whatever goes on in your head with your husband listening intently with a few hums and short responses.
Once you two finished eating, you decided to go to the living room and go through the shelves that contained countless movies you and Xiao bought back then until you found a certain movie that you remembered was the first movie you watched together with him. You could recall the time when you felt nervous and didn’t know what he liked watching, so you thought horror movies were his go-to, but turns out, he actually preferred comedies and drama more and was only watching the movie because you chose it for him.
When you told Xiao about it, he only said, “If you want to watch it… then I don’t mind.” with a small smile on his face, which caused you to rejoiced happily and tried to play the movie on your TV while waiting for your husband to come to the living room with snacks and drinks.
You felt like your reliving through your first hangout with Xiao, your cheeks started to hurt from smiling at the thought of your first hangout, unknowingly aware that your husband’s staring at you with a fond look on his face (something that he did as well back then, hence why he didn’t remember what movie you were talking about).
As soon as the movie ends, you then try to find other movies that fit Xiao’s liking with him helping you out, wanting to create new memories with new movies with your dearest husband, who doesn’t seem to mind as long as it makes you just as happy as you are now.
By the end of the day, after spending the whole day watching together, Xiao carries you towards your bedroom after you fall asleep on his shoulder in the middle of the movie. Your weight didn’t matter to him, all he could focus on was taking you somewhere where you can sleep more comfortably than the couch and his shoulder. When you’re carefully placed on the bed, he tucks you in and kisses your forehead, letting out a soft “Goodnight.” before walking away to get ready for bed.
Since then, he started looking for a few movies that are to your liking in a nearby shop to put on your shelves without you noticing, hoping you’ll get another day off soon.
ZHONGLI is your go-to househusband if you need some relaxation in the house. The both of you spend the entire day doing some self-care activities, starting with Zhongli massaging you and later on you doing the same to him afterwards. Although Zhongli did not have any problems massaging you since he does it daily, you on the other hand couldn’t help but gawk at his muscular form and body that could be compared to a rock, much to his amusement.
Next, the both of you tried out facial care masks that you stored with cucumbers on your eyes as you relaxed in the lounge room with your choice of music playing in the background. If anything, Zhongli is completely alright with any music, if you enjoy it then he enjoys it too! Though, you burst out in laughter when you removed your cucumbers and saw your husband with the facial mask and cucumbers on his eyes as he peacefully rested on the sofa with a towel on his head, he’s definitely into it that’s for sure.
Afterwards, the two of you decided to cook dinner together, specifically Liyue dishes. However, thanks to your distraction from your favorite songs playing in the background, you found yourself dancing with your husband happily in the kitchen, with him holding you and making sure you don’t trip and get hurt. Honestly, the small moment puts smiles on your faces from remembering your first dance in your wedding. Dinner was later on spent with laughter and happiness.
The both of you then proceed to take a nice bath together (something that made your cheeks furiously warm despite taking a bath with your husband a few times). You offered to wash Zhongli’s hair, something he didn’t mind and let you do what you want. Besides, the way your fingers massages and runs through his scalp is so relaxing, he couldn’t pass up the opportunity to have such an intimate moment with his dear spouse! In return, he offered to wash your back as he tells you tales. You could just stay like this forever, talking to your husband as if you have all the time in the forever as you both relax in the water with candles around you as well as the scent of lavender roams through the bathroom.
But alas, the relaxing bath is over. When you finished, the both of you dried up, dressed up into your outfit for sleeping, brushed your teeth, and went to bed together.
You can’t help but sigh happily as you cuddle with him, thanking your husband softly for providing you a relaxing day as your day off. He could only respond with “Anything for you, my love.” and gives you a loving kiss, to which you return. It saddens you that this day is over, but you couldn’t be any more happier knowing that you’ll spend your future with a man like Zhongli this way.
GOING OUT ON DATES, TRIPS, ETC. – ayato, childe, diluc, and kaeya
AYATO didn’t hesitate to pull out his black credit card when you told him you’ll have a day off. Go to a super fancy hotel and spend the night there with him? No problem. Go on a date by visiting the finest restaurant in town? Sure, he’ll straight away get the reservations! Travel to a place and tour around together? Better start packing then! Everywhere you want, he’ll go.
When you decided to choose to go on a fun date with him and make it a surprise, he thought it would involve a candle-lit dinner under the night sky – so consider him a little bit surprised when you took him to the amusement park (he’s lowkey relieved he didn’t decide to wear a formal outfit). The last time the both of you went to an amusement park was perhaps years ago when he bought an entire amusement park so you didn’t have to go through the hassled waiting lines, only to feel embarrassed when you pointed out that VIP tickets exist for a reason.
Besides the crowd being here, another major difference about this date with the one before is the fact that there’s no bodyguards around you nor Ayato, something that made him can’t help but feel unsafe. What if someone from the yakuza decides to ambush? How many exits are there in this park? Why does it feel like the two of you are being wat–
His thoughts were suddenly cut off from the feeling of your warm hand wrapping around his own as you point out a haunted mansion nearby with a huge smile on your face, unaware of his flooded thoughts that bothered him for a moment.
Ah… That’s right… He’s retired already. No one can find him here, not in a small town like this.
Pushing his thoughts away, Ayato proceeded to spend the rest of the day having fun with you, and slowly but surely, his worries and paranoia slowly passed. His paranoid thoughts were soon replaced by how happy you looked when he won the first prize from a stall. It didn’t matter to him what the first prize is, because in his heart, your smile is his first prize.
By the time you came back home, Thoma and Ayaka didn’t bother pointing out the huge smile on the man’s face that didn’t go away for the rest of the day.
CHILDE is another story. He was very excited when you suggested spending your day off visiting his family after not seeing them for quite a while, and didn’t hesitate to start packing. He could imagine the pleasant surprised looks on their faces when they saw him and you visiting.
When the two of you arrived, the entire family was delighted to see your familiar faces. Teucer was particularly the most ecstatic, tackling you and Childe into a hug as he rants about how he misses you both so much.
After your greetings with one another, you’re instantly taken inside and spend lunch with the family, with Childe’s siblings being eager to know about the stories you and Childe have in mind, to which you obliged happily much to their delight. You spent a long time talking with Childe’s family, especially when it comes to your husband’s embarrassing moments, something that made him feel embarrassed as his family laughed.
While the ginger-haired man was busy giving his siblings all the gifts the both of you bought, you were busy helping Childe’s parents cleaning everything up as they talked to you about whether or not he’s been treating you well, to which you responded happily that he’s been nothing but the best husband.
All in all, you found yourself enjoying spending time with your in-law family, be it playing games with the children, having a few drinks with Childe’s parents and him, and cooking dinner with them. Your husband was more than happy to see you getting along so well with the people he cared for, he could just cry despite knowing that you and his family have already known each other.
Unnoticed by him, you actually proposed visiting his family because you knew your husband had been missing them so much, sometimes catching him staring at a photo of his family with a longing look on his face. And what better to do than take him to his family? He deserves it for sacrificing his love for battles and quitting the yakuza crime life just for you!
It was heartbreaking to leave so soon, but you quickly promised that you and Childe will visit everyone again much to their delight, and so the two of you went off back to your home with smiles on your faces. It was only by the time the both of you went to bed when he thanked you and gave you plenty of kisses, feeling grateful to have an amazing spouse like you, only for you to return the favor by giving him kisses much to his delight.
DILUC is happy when he hears that you’ll have a day off, only to feel shocked when you said you’re willing to go to baking classes with him. You? Baking? WIth him? Someone pinch him! His frozen stance could make you laugh all day every time you remember it. Of course, he reluctantly accepted your suggestion, and don’t get him wrong! He’s only reluctant because he didn’t want to embarrass himself in front of you.
So imagine everyone’s surprise in class when the usual aloof Diluc Ragnvindr walked in with a small smile as a stranger beside him chats with him about how they’re so looking forward to bake with him – it didn’t take long for them to realize you’re the infamous spouse that made the stoic man come to this class in the first place. They admit, you two look absolutely cute together.
People cooed at the sight of Diluc being such a sweet man towards you, anyone can see how in love that man is towards you, who’s completely focused on making a baked sweet. It even shocked the instructor to see him being absolutely awestruck at you, is this even the same man everyone knows and is lowkey a bit scared of?
With your help, Diluc manages to make a decent baked sweet like always. He admits, it was a lot more enjoyable to have you around baking classes with him. He could care less that others are shocked about his entire new attitude towards you, not when he was too focused watching you being so dedicated in acing this class with him. Once class ended, the both of you ate the baked sweets you made as you walked back home together hand-in-hand with smiles on your faces. It made your husband more than happy when you confessed that you like to go to class with him next time when you can, something that he’s now looking forward to.
When you told KAEYA that you like to spend your day by going on a date with him, he didn’t hesitate to call the finest restaurant for reservations. He’s quite determined to make sure you’ll experience one great of a date to remember. After all, someone like his dearest spouse deserves the best of the best – when in reality he’s just looking for a reason to drink the finest wine /j
Of course, he makes sure you get pampered well before the date, and that includes visiting the spa! The both of you would get yourselves treated and talk about the date as if you two are going on different dates – it was quite endearing to see Kaeya acting like he’s your best friend supporting you on your first date.
He even got you an amazing outfit that he bought a week ago for this certain occasion, something that made you shocked when you saw it on your bed when you two came home. By the time you finished getting ready for your date, you came down and saw your husband standing by the front door wearing a neat suit, and he could only stare in awe at the sight of you much to your embarrassment. You better expect him to spill loads of compliments on the way there, but do know he means it when he said you look absolutely breathtaking!
When you two arrived, he was nothing but a gentleman to you by opening doors for you, pulling the chair for you to sit on, you name it. The two of you proceeded to order your food and chat with one another about your work, Kaeya’s chores and his errands, and so on. It really does feel like you’re on your first date with him, and you two talked for hours and hours until you two finally considered calling it a day. Time really does fly fast…
On your way home, the both of you acted as if it was your first date with one another, with a few teasings here and there. You’re not sure if it’s because the both of you are equally drunk (not drunk enough that makes you both tipsy) from drinking wine, but it was pretty funny when you think about it. Especially when you and Kaeya pretend you arrived at your home and he has to leave to go back to “his home” as well, only for him to enter your home minutes later with a comment,“I deserve an Oscar for that, don’t you think?”
ANYTHING, ANYWHERE – scaramouche, thoma
SCARAMOUCHE wanted to thank whoever brought him this opportunity to spend his dearest spouse the whole day. It doesn’t matter whatever he’s gonna do, as long as he’s with you he’s fine with it! Though, do expect him to spill out some whining and complaints here and there, something you’ve long tolerated after being with him for so long.
The first thing that comes to mind is shopping! You realized how long it’s been since you and your dearest husband have shopped together so you decided it’s great to spend your day off on that + a nice date in a restaurant that’s recently been opened.
I like to see Scaramouche as someone who cares about what he looks, so he has quite a taste in clothes! You can trust him on checking which clothes suit you better and help you pick them much to the employees’ surprises. The two of you don’t even need the employees’ help, not when Scaramouche acts as if he owns the place and just knows the right outfit to look for.
It’s not hard for him to find clothes that he knows suits him, so it’s mostly you who’s taking a long time – something he doesn’t mind at all, save for some complaints and whines though. When you try out your clothes, he’ll give you some backhanded compliments, something that made you smack his head. However, he does take his job as your judge seriously and lets you know if the outfit is worth buying for. By the time you two finished buying enough clothes, it was time to finally go visit the restaurant that’s nearby.
It’s quite endearing for others when you two are seen chatting with one another as you carry your bought items together, and those close with him know that his smile is genuine, just like his feelings for you!
The best part about the restaurant that made loads of people visit there is their ceiling that shows the beautiful stars of the night sky, and your husband made sure that you two got the best spot of them all. Unnoticed by you, he actually researched some things about the restaurant and even visited blogs that give reviews about each dish the restaurant provides just so you can enjoy your date, however, consider himself surprised when you recommended him a few dishes, as if you’ve been to this restaurant already.
What he didn’t anticipate about all his preparations is the fact that you have been here already. Of course, you must’ve been taken here by your coworkers! How foolish can he be?
He stays awfully silent, stunned by this turn of events much to your confusion. You gained the courage to ask what’s wrong when your meals arrived, and he embarrassingly answered quietly about how you’ve been here before.
What’s even more embarrassing is that he got it all wrong.
Turns out, you too had also researched about the restaurant and visited a few blogs, wanting to make sure Scaramouche had a good time as well with your cute date. And boy imagine your confusion when your husband suddenly started cackling at your explanation. By the time he explained it to you, you also laughed along with him. Who knew the both of you thought of the same thing?
Overall, your day off was quite an experience. The both of you spent the rest of the time admiring the stars outside as Scaramouche tells you each constellation he sees. Now that you think about it, how long has it been since the two of you have stargazed together? You’ll certainly have to plan that one when you have your next day-off soon.
It was only a matter of time before the bill arrived, and hence began the battle of who pays. Everyone should start hoping one of you suggests playing rock-paper-scissors to solve it before things get out of hand (literally).
If anything, THOMA wanted you to spend your day relaxing since he knows how tiring work can be, but you told him you want nothing more than to spend your entire day with your loving husband doing anything, so he gave in and let you do whatever you want – it’s your day, after all!
The two of you decided to go outside with Taroumaru, who’s ecstatic to finally go out with his two favorite people, and visit the dog park that’s near your block. It was cute watching your dog getting along with the other dogs in the park, but not as cute as your husband getting along with all of them!!! It warms your heart seeing him petting all of them with that cute smile of his! Though, you can’t help but feel like Taroumaru and the other dogs have some sort of secret meeting from how they’re all just gathered around doing only Celestia knows what instead of running around together..
When you three went out of the park, you then decided to take leisure strolls and find a good restaurant that’s pet friendly to eat lunch, chatting with Thoma along the way about how you’re craving for certain foods. Given how most places in this town are pet-friendly, it didn’t take long for you and Thoma to encounter a restaurant and stay there.
Thoma couldn’t help but admire how the sunlight shines on you as you busy yourself eating your meal happily while ranting about random topics. When you look at him and catch him staring at you, he instantly clears his throat with flushed cheeks, embarrassed that you caught him. You could only laugh at his flusteredness and continued talking, and if that wasn’t enough to make him more bashful, then it’s the way you try to spoon feed him that did the trick – now look at what you did, his face is now as red as Diluc’s hair!
By the time you guys went back to your humble home, you two then proceeded to play a few games here and there, one of them being a hot pot game which led Thoma to be stuck in the bathroom for a while much to your amusement. You may not know it, but he purposefully makes a few mistakes to make sure you win, he’ll do anything to see you cheer happily for your victory!
Overall, the house was filled with laughter, challenging remarks, and a few determined quotes here and there ( of course, you’d take breaks to eat and relax). You admit, you missed spending a lot of time with your husband, who you know misses this as well, so you don’t regret considering this day-off.
When you two called it a day, the both of you packed everything up and cleaned despite Thoma’s protests that you should get ready for bed while he does the cleaning. When you two finished, you two retreated to your bedroom hand-in-hand with Taroumaru following and got ready to sleep. The both of you honestly couldn’t find yourselves sleeping, not when you two were talking about your day happily as you look forward to spending another day-off like this.

a ramble/confession, and some non-dualism tips
if u seem to already consciously know that ur god AND also think in limiting beliefs, ur not alone. i do it too. it’s way more common than u think.
sometimes we understand a concept and think it’s true, but our egos don’t think in the way that would actually comply with that concept, and that stops us from fully shifting into belief and freeing ourselves from ego. “belief” and “knowing” aren’t always the same thing.
prime example: YOU knowing that ur “desires” r already urs, and then ur ego switching the process completely and being like “so where is it?”. we all know that happens to a lot of ppl in the loa/non-dualism community. the ego is tricky bc its nature is to try and intimidate us. then we slip back into ego-based thinking. happened to me, and is still happening atm. and also i wanna remind ppl that, like healing, awakening to ur true self is often not linear. and that’s totally ok as long as u don’t give up. i was pretty much almost fully realized but then i let my ego get to me again and since then i’ve been trying to get back into that state but just haven’t succeeded at changing my thoughts/improving my self-concept (adhd is making it very difficult).
look. ik it’s kinda weird to have someone post a ramble abt FALTERING at living non-dualism. most of the time, we talk abt the opposite to remind ourselves if our power. but i think it’s important to be open and vulnerable when ur struggling, especially when other ppl could learn from ur struggle.
like i said. not getting i right the first time is OK AND NORMAL. ik ppl say “changing ur self-concept is effortless” but LET’S BE REAL FOR A SEC: that’s not true for everyone, especially neurodivergent/mentally ill ppl, and ppl with intrusive thoughts (i’m all of those, btw), bc our egos r EXTRA spicy.
awakening to ur true self as the god of ur reality is healing, and healing is HARD. in this case, since whatever we are aware of is true, it doesn’t rly have to be, but when u have inner demons, MY GOODNESS IS THIS SHIT DIFFICULT (but still sooo worth it, i promise u).
so good for u if it’s not difficult. really, i’m happy for u. i just also want to bring to light my situation, which is: hearing ppl say “changing ur self-concept is effortless!!” just made it harder to change mine.
I AM NOT TRYING TO SAY ANYONE IS SAYING THESE THINGS MALICIOUSLY. I’M LITERALLY SO HAPPY AND PROUD OF U OMG. i just think that the non-dualism community should be a little more vulnerable, bc FAILING IS NORMAL WHEN TRYING TO CHANGE UR MINDSET, ESPECIALLY FOR PPL LEARNING HOW TO MANAGE NEURODIVERGENCE, MENTALL ILLNESS, TRAUMA, INTRUSIVE THOUGHTS, DEPRESSION, ANXIETY ETC.
AND THAT IS TOTALLY OKAY!!!
i see ppl say things like “i don’t want any limiting beliefs near this page!!!” when limiting beliefs and learning to overcome them r a normal part of this process and should not be shunned, and should rather be met with compassion and understanding. AND SOME PPL DO MEET IT WITH THAT!!! but there r also many who don’t. i understand not wanting to hear ppl’s limiting beliefs in some situations, but not being open to hearing them at all just creates more stigma around being vulnerable abt faltering in this journey and needing some further encouragement or advice. positivity is only good until it becomes toxic positivity. (AGAIN, NOT POINTING FINGERS AT ANY ONE PERSON. I’M TALKING ABT ALL OF US, INCLUDING ME)
my adhd makes it so hard to stick to a new habit long enough to get used to it. and as a result, i have faltered a bit. okay, maybe a little more than a bit. AND THAT IS OKAY. THAT IS NORMAL. THAT IS SOMETHING WE NEED TO TALK ABT MORE.
maybe these stuggles r an “illusion,” but that doesn’t mean we should pretend like we don’t have them. we don’t always have to put on a happy face and go onto tumblr and vaunt to try and fight the intrusive thoughts. if u know anything abt the psychology of intrusive thoughts, FIGHTING THEM DOES NO GOOD. we should accept them and let them be there, knowing that THEY CAN’T HURT US.
even then, they might stress us out. and that’s when we might need to vent. and venting is NOT a bad thing. sometimes it’s the only way i can cool off. but instead of venting into ppl’s inboxes, we should make our own posts, like this one, in constructive language (i suggest writing the angry/anxious stuff first in ur notes, then, when ur calm, rewriting it in a constructive sense and posting it on tumblr). we need more openness to sharing our struggles. mental health struggles r sooo real (even if our human minds r illusions), and we need to make the non-dualism/loa community a safe place to talk abt those struggles and see if anyone can relate, or maybe used to relate and has adivice.
being gentle and open to this conversation is just as important as affirming that we have what we desire. bc, well, if u have the struggle i have, or something similar, u know how difficult it is. hell, i even thought abt going back to loa and trying to get into the void instead of keeping on my non-dualism path bc i thought it would be easier(???) and now i realize that that doesn’t even make sense bc both of these things require improving ur self-concept, which is what i was trying to avoid.
THAT IS LITERALLY AN EXAMPLE OF THE THING I EXPLAINED AT THE BEGINNING OF THIS POST (which was supposed to be the main topic… i rambled a lot. oops.). i knew that i had to change my self-concept no matter what, yet i thought that getting into the void wouldn’t require that. sometimes the thoughts just don’t add up. and it’s bc of the ego! i actually only became aware of that now actually.
THE EGO JUST WANTS TO CONFUSE U AND TAKE CONTROL OF U. i’m just still letting mine have power over me… but now that i’m aware of it, i can try again, this time with a different perspective.
faltering is normal. not being able to change ur thoughts the first time is normal. having this kind of weird cognitive dissonance is NORMAL. THE IMPORTANT THING IS TO NOT GIVE UP, AND SUPPORT EACH OTHER.
you failed to change ur mindset and ended up spiraling? needing a break from trying to change it? i don’t blame u, this stuff is hard. it’s okay tho! what u need to do now (or when ur ready) is: FORGIVE URSELF AND TRY AGAIN. and don’t be afraid to start the conversation of “can anyone relate to this?” or whatever helps u.
we can do this. we can change our thoughts, even with any obstacles we may face, bc we are stronger than our egos. WE’RE GOD, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!! we can do ANYTHING.
the first step is knowing that faltering is okay. next is realizing that our knowledge of who we are doesn’t always match our thoughts, and that that is the nature of our brains. the next step is forgiving ourselves and moving on.
hopefully this rant wasn’t too jumbled or confusing, i kinda just wrote it here without any planning lolz. i need to figure out a format.
and i hope some of u could relate to my struggle. be as open as u want in the replies. i will not judge. if u need to make ur own little rant, it’s fine by me.
also, sorry for being gone for a while. i don’t use tumblr very much anymore. i’m slowly falling away from all apps except pinterest, amazon and depop 😅 but dw, i won’t let myself fall too far. i luv tumblr and the non-dualism and loa community has changed my life and opened my mind in so many ways. even if i haven’t succeeded at getting all my desires quite yet, it’s okay. i will succeed. maybe not right away, but i will. and so will u. You were currently back stage, people were arriving and queueing up to watch others before your headlining performance. You were sat with all the boys around and you had ordered some food before hand.
You were sat in between Talia, your life long friend and Harry. Everyone was so excited about today. Once you and Talia were down eating you both went over to your makeshift wardrobe and made an outfit for tonight. You were so excited, seeing all your fans who have been by your side for years and helping you get to where you are today, it’s a miracle.
You all were walking around the back stage area getting ready. Taking photos and having fun, you decided to give the fans and extra surprise.

After most performers had done their shows, the sun was setting and the mood was perfect. It was now your time to shine. So you went over towards the stage with the boys. You were hugging them all, Josh said “put on the best show for all of us, yeah?” You smiled and nodded “of course I will!” Harry said “I’d say break a leg but we know what happened last time!” You laughed as you hugged him and replied “yep! Definitely remember!” As you were done. You heard your intro song come on. Then it was time!
You ran out on stage as everyone cheered loudly. You waved and pointed to your hair as you knew people at the festival most likely didn’t have service. Then the crowd screamed even louder as if that was possible. You smiled and spoke into the microphone “hi guys! Do you like my new hair?” You pointed the mic to the crowd and heard everyone cheer. You said “is everyone ready!!” You heard the beginning of your song start to begin and you started to sing.
After some time, you were given a little break so the crew behind the scenes could prepare your guitar and such. You said into the microphone “ok, you guys an have a breather! We definitely went all out, huh?!” You laughed and said “make sure you drink and check up on yourself or the people around!. While everything is getting set up! I have two announcements. I don’t know if you guys have seen my post but I mentioned that I have two announcements. So imma tell you guys first!” You took a breather and said “first things first I’m glad to announce that you guys will be hearing a new album soon!!” The crowed cheered loudly. You said “also I have some special guests, they have been with me since day one, through thick and thin! Believed in me no matter what! Please welcome my friends, the sidemen!!” Everyone was cheering as they watched the boys appear from behind back stage. Walking over to you they all either dapped you up or hugged you. You spoke into the microphone “you guys should’ve seen their reactions to my new hairstyle, should I post their reactions?” And by guessing by the cheering they said yes.
The boys were on stage for a few minutes before waving their goodbyes and letting you finish up the show.
After a few more minutes the show was over. You spoke “Hope you all enjoyed tonight’s show! I love you all, hope you enjoyed not just my concert but everyone’s else’s you may have seen today. Make sure you go check out the sidemen channel and I’ll see you all soon! Bye I love you!!” You waved and bowed. Blowing a few kisses you ran off stage towards the boys.

Hi! In your magical girl svsss AU, how are the magical girls chosen?? Is it like a birth thing, or does it happen at some point when they are already a certain age?
Because if it is the second, I want to imagine a scene where SY is hanging out with some demon friends and suddenly he is chosen to become a magical girl (be it through a cute creature telling him or just sudden transformation) and both he and his demon friends start to panic because what????
I also want to know if, in the case SY becomes a magical girl (which I just realized could or could not happen), he could try to join a CQM to change the image people have of demons from the inside!

The first ever magical girls were lovely people who fought demons and saved the world countless of times, even though they had to fight demons multiple times even almost risking their lives! They still had time to be in love~ as they grow older they married their now spouse's in a grand ceremony.
In the far future the angel helper that was sent to help the magical girls warned that if a magical girl decided to retire and have children, the power they have now will be distributed upon the magical girls children, leaving the magical girls without magic anymore (ofc if they decide to have children). As the children of the magical girls grow up, they also fall in love and the cycle continues for as long as that magic last. Once many generations have been passed, the magical girls power will be so faint that you will not even be able to do any simple magic spells
If a magical girl does not wish to have children, they will not grow old like the normal humans because the magical girls power is from the heaven's itself, as long as they have their powers they will grow old and slowly die of old age without any health problems.
There was less and less magical girls in the world. The heaven's thought it was a problem because the demons, without strong enough magical girls were reeking havoc again! The heaven's held a meeting and decided to send down angel helpers once in a while to give powers to the most qualified humans the magical girl powers.
Boom done storytime! (Heres a shorter version so u don't have to read all that) So if the magical girls has children, they will inherit the power and the cycle of childbirth continues until the magical girl power eventually just goes poof bc theres so little of it! If a magical girl doesn't want to have children they will grow old and die slowly bc.. powers!!! Once in a while the heaven's will like send an angel helper to give humans magical girl powers.
Actually i do wanna touch on the magical girls power giving thing bc its actually really interesting to me off course!
The heaven's sends out tiny angel helpers to give humans magical girl powers by giving them accessories that pierce into your body, (like an earring) energy will start to invade your immune system and slowly merge with your cells while slowly changing them to be different from a human cells! So technically if you want to like donate blood you can't anymore bc your blood ain't no type A or B anymore, its Type SMG or what it stands for, SPARKLY. MAGICAL. GURL.
Also (i say also a lot) your shen yuan idea is amazing! Like omg! Like that would be so cool if one day its just like
SY: *hanging out with demons then a very sparkly light falls from the sky*
Demons: "what the f-"
Angel: "WAHHHH THAT FALL HURT! I SHOULD'VE USED MY WINGS 😭"
demon's and SY: *extremely confused????One demon sneaks up and hits it with a pan, Rapunzel style!*

Coming Out Post Ig?
I don't really know where to start with this so I'm just gonna get into it
Cw for a bit of a long rant, no triggering topics but just read with some slight caution
I think I'm bigay? I've been questioning my sexuality for about 4 years and I could never find a label that stuck. I started with bisexual, then pansexual, then throughout the years my sexuality has changed but it's been mostly been between bi and gay. I've used homoflexible a few times, and it felt right, but something felt off. I felt it didn't completely cover what my attraction felt like. It's been hard for me to differentiate between romantic and sexual attraction, so I've just been using non-sam labels, and just saying I'm bisexual with a lean. Recently I've used abrosexual and that felt right too, but not completely. I've tried abrogay and abroachillean because I am mostly gay but it just didn't feel completely right, I didn't feel complete. I used to be an exclusionist (ew) and against mspec lesbians/gays/straights but luckily I've had friends and this wonderful community to educate me. I think the only reason I was an exclus was because I had internalized bigayphobia, as soon as someone taught me what it was, it really wasn't that hard to understand. Some people are on the sam and some people are fluid between 2 labels. I also think it was because I was with a toxic friend group (who I've since dropped ((thank god)) who was VERY against mspec lesbians/gays/straights. I mean, I also used to be anti-mogai because my ex gf was pounding it into my head how "bad" it was (she was literally cis too lmao) I'm glad I've met and am in such a wonderful community that is accepting of all good-faith identities. Anyway, earlier today I started researching bigay more and kept re-reading the description as to why someone might use the term bigay and then I realized. That's me. I am bigay. The term that actually resonates with me is the thing I've been avoiding the most. I was literally TERRIFIED about adding bigay to my prns page (ik I don't have to but I just want to) even though I know the only people who are gonna see it are my friends (who are accepting of it) and anybody who clicks on the link in my pinned post (which is most likely gonna be an inclus) I've been thinking about if I'm bigay (or just mspec gay) for a while now, but I refused to even accept myself of the possibility of being an mspec gay. I genuinely don't understand exclusionists, I used to be one and all I did was do a little research as to why someone might identify that way, and I changed my views. If you can accept things like nonbinary boy or agender girl, then you can accept mspec lesbians/gays/straights too. I'm glad I've cut off those exclus friends, now I can finally be myself. I think my sexual journey is over, I think this is the label I've been looking for, for so long. Ykw I'm proud to say I'm bigay, I'm proud to use contradictory labels. I'm a nonbinary boy AND a biromantic gay, and I'm god damn proud of it. If you're questioning whether you're mspec and a lesbian/gay/straight then it's okay. Those labels aren't "bad" or "invalid", if it describes you, then use it. You can use "contradictory" labels if you'd like, don't give a fuck what anyone thinks. All that matters is that you accept yourself, all that matters is using the labels you want that make you feel comfortable.
My identity has come a long way over the years, but I think I'm finally happy to say I'm comfortable where I am. I'm an agender boy, enboy and a demienboy, also bigay, and exclusionists can fuck off!

so the whole reason this au was born was because i thought about a modern au where viserys dies, and all his money, inheritance, etc, was never properly discussed. his will was never updated after aemma’s funeral so the only one who gets anything is rhaenyra— money, the targs famous company, any proprieties, rhaenyra gets it all, while alicent and her children are left with pretty much nothing except for the targaryen family home, as an act of goodwill by rhaenyra. the hightowers used to be wealthy by buying/selling real estate but the company suffered uh….. a huge scandal (let’s say gwayne hightower was arrested several times) and their money isn’t enough for them to keep living the comfortable life they once had, and soon the horror begins = aegon almost cries when alicent tells him he should get a job.
so otto does his magic and convinces alicent that the best prospect for aemond (one-eyed, but an omega nonetheless) is marrying one of rhaenyra’s oldest sons because both will have a more than decent inheritance and therefore, moneyyyyy. westeros still has some families with pretty old-fashioned traditions, so it’s alicent as his mother who approaches rhaenyra with the proposal. surprise surprise, rhaenyra declines almost immediately because she (very rightfully) thinks that aemond will try and murder either of her sons as soon as they’re married, all too resentful for his eye. alicent shamelessly lies (he would never do that!!! he’s such a decent, kind, devoted omega!!!! and— and he cooks so well!!!) and that’s how aemond finds himself in a ‘how to be a good omega’ course, imparted at the local clinic.
they teach him the basics— how to cook, how to clean, how to please their spouses. aemond thinks it’s all bullshit— but, hey, they’re right when they say that your mate should be your top priority. and, well, they are also right when they say that if you love someone, you would be devoted to them. of course i would cook for my spouse!!! they must be so tired after work…
so who knew? it actually works. next time alicent meets rhaenyra, she shows her what a good omega her son is— aemond cooks for them, wears something that creepily looks like something alicent would’ve worn in her youth, and is all gentle smiles and soft movements. only that rhaenyra did not go alone to their meeting. jace and luke join just in time to appreciate the changes in their uncle, and now it’s not who will marry him, but when will they marry him. they’re brothers, after all— they’re shared everything all their lives. this should not be different.
now, what you actually asked (lmao! got a little carried away!) aemond’s siblings are confused. lemme elaborate:
aegon thought aemond was messing with him the first time he said he had to leave early from their night out to cook lucerys dinner. his jaw dropped when aemond also told him he could not drink any alcohol because jacaerys told him not to. don’t get him wrong, he’s glad aemond isn’t the same asshole he used to be, but now talking to him feels weird. his baby brother won’t go anywhere unless his husbands are aware. he won’t wear anything they don’t approve of. and every time aegon tries to make him see how unreasonable his lifestyle is, aemond will fight until aegon drops it. whatever. as long as he’s happy, i guess.
helaena tries to argue on that as well— she insists aemond should have his own say in his life, but her comments are softly spoken, so aemond just chuckles and disregards everything she says. he pats her head, smiling all condescending because she’s a beta, and she wouldn’t understand. after a while, helaena gives up, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t grimace when aemond takes his coat off and she can see his whole neck and wrists covered in bruises and finger marks.
now… daeron is complicated, because he still feels some of the rage aemond shared with him when the eye incident happened. at first, he glares at jace and luke at family gatherings and tells them they would never deserve his brother, and he tries convincing aemond to get a divorce as soon as he gets his hands in some of their money, but aemond looks truly concerned and explains that the past is all behind, daeron. we should not let ourselves rot with resentment, and so daeron tunes the comments off, although he still glares at the velaryon boys.
either way, their acceptance on their marriage grows a bit when jace and luke treat them for sevenmas— they get aegon and helaena an all-included trip to pentos for an entire month on the most luxurious hotel that could possibly exist, while their children get so many toys that helaena doubts they will fit all in their room. and daeron, who is now old enough to drive, gets his first car! i meaaan, they can’t be that bad, can they?

hello elli YES omg idk what it is apparently amnesia fics are just that fucking difficult. or smth. idk but!! yes i will share everything that is still in my brain involving this fic (under the cut tho i'm abt to infodump so hard)
this idea was originally planted by an anon who left a very cute little amnesia prompt in my inbox (anon if you're out there i'm so sorry i swearrr). i've since deviated from the og prompt which was fairly lighthearted (amnesia will sees mike hovering over him obsessively and assumes he's his bf. and mike short circuits. which was an excellent idea my brain just wouldn't accept it) and went for angst bc well. i'm like that. and basically my idea was just that will wakes up in mike's room very recently post-apocalypse (the wheeler's house has been a base in the apocalypse and mike offered his room bc of course he did), having been in a coma for a few months. the idea behind it was that vecna / the hive mind tried to possess him again, but this time will was strong enough to fight back, and though he couldn't fight *through* the possession he was at least able to kind of incapacitate himself so that he couldn't be used to hurt his friends (yay angst!!). while he was asleep the others managed to stop vecna / kill the UD, hence freeing will from possession. yay he's awake!! unfortunately, since he was in the coma for so long, the virus ate away parts of his consciousness, namely his memories.
basically i took s2 and birthdaygate and made it bigger and more dramatic and worse. yay parker!!
the way i was planning on having will's memories come back is very slowly and methodically (i.e. it takes him a while to remember stuff but once he does it pretty much sticks), mainly through him being reminded of them through sensory recognition or people sharing stuff - he also has vague feelings attached to people, and can definitely recognize when a face belongs to someone important to him (cough cough mike wheeler) but he doesn't remember names or details and this drives him INSANE.
the bylerification of this would be mike, post-apocalypse and broken up with el and having had some Very Important Realizations, frantically fumbling trying to give will love confessions and apologies when will literally doesn't remember any of their fights. so not only does mike have to apologize for everything, he also has to make will relive it first, and Then hope that will doesn't reject him. (hehe.) this sucks for him, but yada yada it all works out and they make out sloppy. the end
i abandoned this fic for a lot of reasons, many of which i no longer remember, but the main ones were a., that is a lot of backstory for a story that ultimately doesn't have much plot beyond Mike Is Stressed And Will Is Confused, and b., at the time i was kind of burnt out on writing/reading apocalypse stuff, and c., i wasn't a big fan of the concept of everyone saving the world with will still incapacitated bc i know my boy is more of a key character than that!!! (this is small and ik people could get over it for This One Fic but it Really Bothered me Ok)
that being said,,, writing all this out did remind me of how much i liked the concept and i think taking the pressure off of myself for a couple months did help, as did taking a break from apocalypsey concepts for a while. so. Maybe. and that is all i will say about that <33

hello hi hru omg im writing this with freaking TEARS IN MY EYES because i just read cheol's part of the regency au AND I CANNOT STRESS HOW PERFECT IT WAS!! jane austen has always been my favorite since i was like 6 or smth i distinctly remember falling in love with the whole regency aesthetic after watching the bbc version of pride and prejudice with my mom when i was rly rly little AND READING THAT FIC WAS JUST LIKE READING A JANE AUSTEN BOOK!! Yeah IDK about the coke theory... Do I think Ariana is doing coke rn? Probably, just like most of Hollywood is. 1-2. True! He's sooo pale sometimes, that's just how he's always looked (especially this time of year). If ANYTHING I think he may have dabbled in 🍃 in the past just based on some things I've heard him say in interviews, but that's beside the point. People really spend too much time talking about his looks. As for if I think he sees any of it, that's hard to say. Most of it happens on twitter, and he hasn't posted anything on twitter/liked any posts since last spring (tbh I'm surprised he hasn't deleted his twitter yet).
3. YES omg! I can't wait to see Marissa's Nessarose! And her and Ethan look like they're a good pair for those roles. I don't see enough people talking about how big of a deal Marissa playing Nessa is as she's the first disabled actress to play the role.

Today I had to go on another account just to send something to my ask box because since I started my account last year, I’ve gotten nothing and it really hurts.
I love how open and freaky you are in your posts and I’m honestly the same way with Saltburn and an anime fandom that I’ve shaped my blog around. I used to be a little calm and collected but you’re inspiring to just let go and let my freak flag fly but the problem is, with my fandom, I don’t think people are going to be very inviting. Like literally the only thing I wanna do right now is babygirl code my favorite anime character sooo badly but I’m afraid I’ll lose all my followers and when I try to I get no engagement.
Like I wrote three freaking paragraphs about how good he’d look with a navel piercing! That was this morning and I got nothing all day but four likes. No reblogs, no comments, I literally had to make another account and send myself some praise for that post just so I could post it to show people that at least someone else agrees with me.
And I know I should give it time but that’s the problem. Some of my other posts like that don’t grow. They just get five likes and that’s it and it sucks because all I wanna do is engage with people that want to see this boy in lingerie or a skirt or goddamn pregnant (told you I was a freak)

i think that's half of my 'luck' with having a good experience on this app, is that because this fandom is so fresh, it's super active, but it's also a very small fandom (relative to some others) so we're all kinda like a hivemind here LOL, and because of the source material of the movie itself being weird/freaky/psychosexual, we all know that anything goes and the more freaky the brainrot, the better! i'm in other fandoms where if i said half of the shit i say here, i'd be ostracized, so it's really a case by case basis unfortunately </3
ik i yap a lot here but i also hold back sooo much because even tho ik we're all weirdos here, i still get nervous about putting out my writing or not having people vibe with an idea– you're not alone in that, i promise. it helps forming friendships in your fandoms so you know that there'll always be people who you can get hype over ideas with, but i know that's easier said than done sometimes <3
i don't have advice on engagement because i honestly don't look at that stuff (which i know is so annoying to say lol but it's true); i made this account purely to have a place to dump brainrot/art etc and view other people's saltburn content and i didn't care about engagement, i just got lucky to meet some cool people and make close friends through it.
i think if people can tell you're having fun through your posts, they'll vibe with you! it does take time with the good ol' algorithm, i'm sure, but as long as your page brings YOU joy, that's what matters most. people don't have to agree with your takes, life is too short to be vanilla and water urself down for others :^) making fandom friends and gaining interactions will come along with being yourself, but if posting here and running the account feels more stressful to you than it is fun, it's okay to step away too!
if you're on ao3 and sites like that, leaving comments on your fave works can be a great way to get conversations going as well. i met my closest friend on here bc she stumbled across my fic on ao3 and then sent me a message; it was purely up to chance, but branching out and being brave starting conversations with your fave accounts can be a great way to feel more included in the fandoms you're in and maybe you'll meet cool people along the way!! <33

idk why he says nothings wrong when i ask him, when clearly something is wrong. ik how he is & when somethings up but he still denied it. i understand if he doesnt wanna get into it rn or he just wants to let it go but like in this case, i pretty much know exactly what its about that could be bothering him & the only way to put him at ease is to talk about it….again! this one specific thing triggered his mood last night & i didnt even think it would. i noticed a red scratch mark on my chest and sent him a pic saying how i think his cat made the scratch. his reply was soo serious, like i could actually feel him doubting me thru the phone. i knew he was questioning if it was really the cat bc he said how he was close to my chest the other day and didnt see anything so that is odd that theres a scratch. !! i immediately knew where his mind went & that thought didnt even occur to me when i sent that pic..like if i knew that would cause him to think of this crazy scenario then i wouldnt have sent that snap in the first place tbh bc right after that, his tone & the way he texted just shifted. hes not the best at masking his feelings like me so i can tell when the energy feels different. i also posted some pics from the hangout on my ig story & he saw it later that night. i have a feeling that added to his misery and all of today it was so prevalent, even if he denies it. idc if he says nothings wrong bc its not convincing and its not just in my head. he went from msging me all cutesy & happy to immediately being more neutral & uninterested. we always send a snap to say good morning (unless we get busy but we still send a snap with whatever we’re doing). he didnt open the app, as well as reply to my snap, until 7:15pm.. around 4 was when i asked him whats wrong (bc i already knew he was ignoring me). his response was that nothing really is wrong and how he went straight to work and his boss switched his assignment. usually id let that go but not when its already past 7 and hes firsttt opening snapchat to answer me ? and i see that hes been on instagram. also.. hes always talking to me when hes either at work already, still at home, or driving to work. the only time he goes mia like that is when something is definitely upsetting him. also!.. when that happens, he will text me after a couple hrs to let me know how hes feeling & why he was silent. he didnt always do that but i told him to bc its not fair to me by feeling like ive done something or just the feeling of purposely being ignored by my own boyfriend. but yeah.. he didnt do any of that this time BC its this whole situation again. i really dont know what more i could do to reassure him about it. i feel like ive done and am doing all that i can rn. its mostly up to him now to let himself figure it out and honestly, just trust me. like just saying.. im not gonna be making that mistake that you (both) did and be stupid with it.. and neither will snow. theyre not a “friend” its actually becoming really genuine and sweet and i wont let it get ruined bc of him doubting me. i also wont let the friendship ruin me and him. i really cant help but compare it to what he did with his friend, especially since i just found out like a month ago. i also have this suspicion that it happened earlier that yr (when we were still together) than what he told me, but i dont even wanna think about that for any longer. i was told by her Husband! that it happened when they were still in school together. that means a year before. idk if i believe that. she mightve lied, but my suspicion’s still there. like i asked him if he remembered what month and he couldnt. all he knew was that it was during our break..-.- the what.…like 1 1/2 month long break. you dont remember which month..? i sound so salty rn omg i dont mean to. im just trying to understand. ill see how he is with me tm bc we barely talked today. kind of glad i worked most of the day so i was able to keep busy and not hyper focus on him ignoring me.
