Pretty unbiased so far, which I appreciate. Also a rather quick read. And a pretty tiny book as well. But seems like a good overview.

Spartans- Pride

With suppressed hormones and sex drive, are Spartans asexual? They’ve just created this giant family with one another growing up together and the thought of a Spartan introducing the others to a partner. Just “hey everyone this is xxx they’re my partner.” Just all the other Spartans staring at xxx. Judging them some silently, and some not so silently. Are they good enough to be with our brother/sister? Do we accept them? It is a ultimate trial, like meeting the parents but so much worse. There’s so many of them to impress, not to say that the Spartans like to “spar” with the potential partner to their brother/sister. The true test if they are worthy or not. “Just don’t severely injure them. That’s all I ask.”

I’m Bella Swan, having just moved from beautiful Phoenix Arizona to the most boring rainiest place in the continental United States I now don’t have a house to run and an abundance of free time, soooo at my mom’s suggestion I’m starting a tumblr.  I have no car, slow internet and have to share a bathroom with my dad, wish me luck! I start the rest of my year as a Junior at Forks High School tomorrow (in the middle of March) so can’t promise that I’ll update that often but . . . enjoy?

SEAN MAGUIRE Meet the Spartans (2008)

"Until Team RWBY arrive - and who knows how long that'll be - all we have is each other."

Helmet BONK sound.

A while back, Legend was on a solo mission that had led him into an asteroid field and his ship took damage. Luckily, there was a space station nearby that he could land on and try for repairs. The Windfish Station was long abandoned but the power was still running. After landing only sort of crashing into the hanger he was greeted by the stations A.I., Marin. Marin helps Legend locate parts for his ship and she asks him to tell her about his adventures.

The station is old and crumbling, it wont last for much longer. Legend asks Marin if she wants to come with him. She says yes. But she cant leave without making sure the station and the data on it cant be claimed by monsters. So legend suggests blowing it up. Marin is sad but agrees. But she has always wanted to see more than the station so she is excited.

Legend repairs his ship and sets charges around the station.

Marin doesnt survive being extracted from the stations computer.

When Superman gave him the kryptonite, Bruce felt touched that Kal-El would trust him, a human, that much. He knew that Superman was wary of humans when he first crash-landed on Earth a year ago, receiving a less than warm welcome from the military. If it hadn't been for the Justice League's intervention, Superman would have been locked up under Amanda Waller's watch.

It took months of fighting side by side on the battlefield before Superman accepted Batman's invitation to join the Justice League. As a show of mutual trust, Bruce provided Superman with plans to neutralize him in case he went rogue, and Superman entrusted any kryptonite he found to Batman for safekeeping.

They worked well together, and Superman had Batman's back in every fight against supervillains. While they had their ups and downs like any relationship, their conflicts never lasted long. That's why Bruce was puzzled when Superman started acting coldly towards him all of a sudden.

Bruce may not be the most emotionally aware being, but he could tell when someone was deliberately avoiding him. The rest of the Justice League noticed the tension and tried to mediate the situation. It was then that Superman suddenly accused him of cheating.

“You slept with that redheaded woman!” he yelled. Bruce tried hard to recall which woman Superman was talking about. Had he accidentally slept with Superman's lover? Then Superman continued, “I was patient, waiting for you to be ready to consummate our marriage, but you broke our sacred marriage contract! Clearly, you don't love me anymore!”

Bruce felt like he had entered the twilight zone. His mind spiraled as he frantically tried to remember when he had gotten married to the Kryptonian. It turns out that Superman fighting off the supervillains trying to get to him was part of a courtship ritual on Krypton. When Batman had invited Superman into the Justice League, Superman had taken it as a marriage proposal to join his inner circle, and they had exchanged weapons to seal the deal. It seems that Kryptonians had long, and pretty bloody, courtship rituals revolving around proving their strength to their partner and exchanging rare objects. Verbal declarations were unnecessary.

Bruce had been married to Superman for months, and he didn't even know it.
