Sometimes your adopted family is a bunch of children because of a supervillain and I think it would have been SO funny if they never solved that in the movie.
Personally I can say that I love it. They are so comical and I feel like they don't really take any characters seriously or make them look in a very caricatured way that I have to admit I'm fascinated.
I especially love the Hal and Barry interactions in those movies. Plus Barry is so adorable.
(I have a lot of headcanon about why he Hal from that universe really likes the lego Barry, but wants him to think they're cool how Diana and tries to get his attention in such stupid ways that just alienate him and that's very frustrating.
And Barry claims to "hate" the Hal of that universe, but secretly is very sad that they don't get along and he really likes her and finds her someone cool and attractive.
He thinks Hal hates him and sees him as irritating.)
(I'm sure they had that conversation and they realized it was all a big misunderstanding.)
A Rebel shock trooper and drop ship pilot, Hal was the former leader of Lantern Company. He led the company during Clone Wars until it was disbanded by the Empire for fighting back against Imperial occupation. Lantern Company eventually reformed as a part of the Rebel Alliance. Hal can be a bit cocky and often butts head with Rebel leadership, but he is also extremely loyal to his fellow company members
