I really like the idea of hal having wind themed elements of him cuz not only wind and planes are the biggest part of his life I can somewhat see his overcoming of fear thing as some sort of form of freeing of something holding you back to do your goal (like free as a wind)

When I think of the wind I think of Hal, not because of airplanes directly, but because one of the things I like most about him as a character is his freedom. Hal loves and appreciates his freedom too much. It is as free and fluid as the wind.

He goes where he wants, when he wants and at the pace he wants; That's why I feel like Hal is so connected to heaven.

Hal loves the wind, because it's probably the only thing in his life that he knows he can still have.

Beyond airplanes and what they mean to him, the wind represents him and his life.

Hal is the wind.

Justice League dog version

It's just me again, rambling about what breed the league members would be if they were dogs.

(I hope to later add other DC characters and other members of the league. For example: Dinah and Ollie, or even Wally)

Bruce Wayne: Doberman

Bruce would definitely be a doberman. This breed of dog is characterized by being very territorial and at first glance they tend to be quite scary or give a warning of danger to others, but it is known that they are very hard-working and brave dogs, and they are also usually quite docile with their masters and do not hesitate. to defend them if the situation requires it.

Clark Kent: Labrador retriever

For Clark, I first thought about using the breed that inspired (according to what I know) to make Kripto, however, it seemed more appropriate to use a labrador retriever since I think it fits more with Clark's personality. It is a very playful, loyal and sociable dog, which has no difficulty living with children, strangers and other animals. Sounds like Clark to me.

Diana: Spaniel enano

It was much more difficult for me to choose a breed for Diana, since I wanted a strong, but loyal and intelligent dog; So that led me to think of two options. One was a Belgian Laekenois and the other is a Miniature Spaniel. The first race is known to be very protective of their people and property, and are quite good with children, while the second (the one I chose) is a very intelligent, elegant, friendly race and are known to be a perfect to alert when they perceive any strange noise

Barry Allen: Golden retriever

Barry was definitely the easiest to choose. He is a golden retriever. Since they are considered one of the most intelligent breeds, they are very kind and calm, in addition to being really good at taking care of children. But what stands out most about them are their incredible tracking skills and that reminds me a little of being a police officer. In addition, these dogs are very popular, since they tend to be very effective therapy dogs.

Extra point because he's blonde.

Hal Jordan: Husky Siberiano

Hal was the most difficult of all because it is not easy to find a dog that shares several characteristics with him. I chose a Husky, because in my experience they are animals that, although they can live with other dogs, are usually very jealous, since they like to have attention on them. Despite this, they are very pleasant dogs to live with and tend to socialize easily although sometimes they can be somewhat dramatic and quite disobedient, but that is part of their charm. Not to mention how noisy they are.

Arthur Curry: Portuguese water dog

I think Arthur could be a Portuguese water dog, since these are very independent, friendly dogs that can get along well with other dogs and even cats, in addition to that, they are quite intelligent dogs, but above all agile and active. They are incredible swimmers and it was believed that these dogs help sailors fish.

J'onn J'onzz: Bloodhound

I think that these dogs, along with the Saint Bernards, are one of my favorite breeds, since they tend to be extremely calm and peaceful dogs, they are not dogs that make a lot of noise and they usually adapt well to any other living being they live with. They are loyal and affectionate dogs, but they are not territorial, despite that, they have their little heart and BloodHounds do not tolerate loneliness well. For me this breed is the one that best fits J'onn, although I also thought of a Saint Bernard.

My own take on genshin impact vision meanings

(aka my oversimplified versions of my understanding of it cuz I suck at explaining things)

disclaimer, these are just my own interpretation and every knowledge of vision I know, and yeah I might oversimplified some of it

(thank goodness I finally wrote all of these they are basically running in my mind for a while now)

Hydro Vision

I can't explain this properly but I think hydro reflects on something for their goal

It's basically like a water rippling, everything you do always has some reaction to it, so basically you have to do what's best for it

Anemo Vision

Anemo confront something holding back to achieve their goal

they basically need to let go of something holding them back, they need to confront it in order to choose their own path, finally setting the thing they want to achieve or desire, basically finally free as a wind

Pyro Vision

I think they use their biggest strength to achieve their goal

they know their strength, and they know they can use it to achieve a certain goal or desire

Geo Vision

they are basically devoted and determined to achieve their goal

they are determined and devoted to doing what they need to do, it's like a "set in stone"

Electro Vision

I think they "change their reality" or "stay to their reality" to achieve their goal

they need what they need to do to "change" something in order to achieve something or "stay" to something despite the possibilities

Dendro Vision

they basically follow their heart and themselves to achieve their goal

they follow their instinct to do what is the best, and even if it's "illogical or nonsensical" to achieve their goal

they make a difference if they stay true to themselves

Cryo Vision

so basically they confront or prove their inner self to achieve their goal

(the most doozy here lol) but in order to achieve their goal they have to face their inner conflict, or prove themselves to get to where they want

I really like the idea of a thing that is based on a character's personality, traits, motives, etc and vision are based on ambitions

I might make it for avengers too and other justice league heroes

Justice League:

Hydro Vision- Superman

Yeah I think he fits here I think, I think he fits hydro because he knows he has god like powers and the best way to use it to help people

Electro Vision- Batman

I think his vision is electro imo

he'll do anything to change the state of Gotham city by using all of his wealth and resources to take Gotham safer

Geo Vision- Wonder Woman

not sure but her devotion for her duty and ideals and also for humanity

(I have nothing else to say but that pretty much it)

Dendro Vision- Flash

(A little weird considering flash mostly has electric powers lol)

Part of me that he's dendro cuz he always acts what's right (pretty much the main reason why he never slows down)

Anemo Vision- Green Lantern

I might misinterpret everything about him but I can see his overcoming fear as being free of something you are holding back

(if you think about the whole going on with will vs fear has something to do about freedom vs control)

maybe a me thing but I find mk1 johnshi really generic???

maybe I really don't like character A is really annoyed with character B for being loud and annoying 24/7 dynamic cuz they are good amount of chance they are never taken seriously and played for laughs as if men loving men isn't really taken seriously enough 😭😭 (one of the reasons why I don't like esspreseleine)

and in fact johnny is pretty much a comic relief character is just adds everything up (I don't find his character development believable either, I think it's really rushed and their development either)

as much it hurts to say this but at the end of the day they are probably just gonna end up with their love interest

one of the main reasons I find johnshi kinda generic, it's just a basic mlm opposite attract ship that wouldn't end up with each other and would end up with a women 🤷‍♀️

mk1 johnny is just ok to me I don't really think he is the worst I feel like he leans way much on super action star comic relief

cage match managed to be comedic while not too much, and not leaning way too much on his actor star side also he actually had quite the edge too imo compared to mk1

if you unironically think trans men just are going to patriarchy and going evil or some shit like that stay I fuck away from me and never talk to me again

I really do think that some trans people see the word “man” in trans man and their brain shuts off. Their brains go “Oh, man. Man privileged and bad. Men evil and oppressive. Therefore you, Man, equal evil and oppressive. I do not consider you a person now.” The usual acknowledgement of identities and nuance and lived experience they willingly apply to every other group flies out the fucking window. They are so blinded by gender essentialism they completely dehumanize trans men. They don’t know what to do with us in their simplistic bullshit radfem gender politics. Saying trans women are women doesn’t make you not a radfem, deconstructing bio/gender essentialism, and the belief that all masculinity and men/men-aligned/masculine people are inherently morally evil/oppressive/corruptive, and that all femininity and women/women-aligned-feminine people are inherently morally good/innocent/oppressed, THAT is what you have to do to not be a radfem, at the very least.

I am sick to death of non-trans men acting as if trans men never interrogate what it means to be a man. It is in the DEFINITION of being a trans man. We have thought about what it means to be a man more than anyone else (interestingly, trans women also have to grapple with manhood and masculinity in being raised with patriarchal expectations and realizing they don’t fit them and don’t identify with manhood). We build ourselves up from nothing (in terms of making the world acknowledge us as men instead of forcibly trapping as us “women”), we have to make our bodies match who we are, we have to figure out and be determined to be boys and men before anyone else knows we are. We are trans BECAUSE we are men. We have to figure out what being trans and what being a man means to us. Our sense of manhood and masculinity will always be rebellious (not by our own choice, but in the way any oppressed group is rebellious in existing). Trans men are inherently an anti-patriarchal concept. Obviously trans men can be misogynistic like anyone else, but the claim that transforming into a man is automatically misogynistic is radfem trash. The idea that identifying as a man suddenly erases experiences of misogyny is so inherently alien to the actual lived experience of all trans men that it can only come from people who do not interact with, care about, or view trans men as worthy of listening to, or even acknowledgment at all, or even just outright hate us for existing. Non trans men seem to legitimately think that putting on a binder will make cis people see us as men. That is not how it works, and the fact that I have to SAY THAT just shows the absolute miserable state of how rampant anti-trans man attitudes are (anti-transmasculinity more generally but specifically with trans men).

Trans men think about manhood a LOT. We think about it a lot, because manhood and masculinity are central to our identity in a way that is different from any other group of people. We are taking previous experiences and concepts, and re-framing and re-creating those concepts with what fits us. We have to completely construct both womanhood and manhood. It is also a different kind of thinking of being a man because we actually are the men in that situation, “the man” goes from being Other to Us. The complete disregard for our personal experiences, and the reliance on non-trans men and their endless parade of disgusting and bigoted options rather than US is very telling. Trans men have a unique perspective: manhood and masculinity, and the patriarchy (they are not the same thing) were likely traumatic for us, but our own masculinity and manhood are freeing and liberatory for us because we are trans, and because we are trans men. Obviously we don’t want to be what oppressed us, so our usual conclusion is to do masculinity and manhood in a different way. And yet is it so common for that to be turned against us, to assume that because we are trans men we must be willingly aligning ourselves with patriarchy without a second thought. But some trans people do not want to let us do a different form of masculinity, because they see all masculinity as inherently the same, equally oppressive, and evil.

We have a deeper understanding of misogyny and constructs of manhood than most people. We have a deeply profound awareness of how gender works, we live with it every day. Our perspective is critical for advancing any sort of gendered liberation of trans people, and to act like it isn’t, and to act as if only people who do not identify with manhood or masculinity have an inherently more valid perspective is gender essentialist nonsense. Gender is fluid and can be interpreted in many ways, the harmful ways of the patriarchy are not inherent in masculinity or femininity. Masculinity is not inherently oppressive, the patriarchy is. Of course people not allowed to be men who insist on our right to be men anyway think about our identities all the time. Far more than the people who make these nonsensical claims in the first place. Quite honestly, the only way to make this better (what we can do, because 1. It’s not our responsibility to make non-trans men not hate us and 2. Non trans men need to do their work in fixing their attitudes about us) is for trans men to use our voices and share our point of view. Anti-trans man and masc bigotry relies on silence and deliberate violent erasure, and it’s harder to do that if we never be quiet. Our identities are not morally wrong. We deserve to take up space.
