Okay but I will NEVER recover from the fact that in infinity war Peter and Gamora's last words to each other were literally "I love you" and they were just... ripped apart.

There was no resolution, no closure, no anything. It just ended so abruptly and suddenly. It's so tragic. They had so much potential, and their love was so genuine and real and it just ended so abruptly. I'm fully of the opinion that their love story is one of the saddest of the entire MCU.

Long story short, they deserved better.

actually you know what, while I still stand firmly behind "the real villain of rex's tcw-era gothic horror story is rex with a control chip in his head" I think there's another option I'm ignoring here...

in classic gothic horror, of course, a hero has two main ways to resolve the problem of the monster:

✅defeat the monster

✅become the monster

and in canon, rex - being the overachiever that he is - gets to do both!

but gothic romance introduces a third, exciting option:

✅marry the monster

and I think rexwalker is definitely at its sexiest when it involves an anakin who is anywhere on the path from rots-era anguished doubt, to full-on commitment as darth vader, turning all his immense capacity for love and his ride-or-die, damn-the-consequences loyalty towards one ordinary (brave, determined, genuinely good) clone

Eh, screw it, let's do this.

Starting today (once I get the polls made and posted) I'm gonna do a little bracket of superhero teams. In the process of picking teams to fill out the 16 slots, by sheer coincidence, I ended up picking exactly 8 each from DC and Marvel. So round 1, in addition to being at least somewhat seeded (best I could from my own perspective), is set up with each heat being a Marvel vs DC match-up. Ought to be fun.

Each round will last a week, in the hope of getting more people clued in as we go, so do please reblog this and/or the polls themselves, cause if nobody does then it's gonna be a smaaaaall sample size indeed.

Bruce Wayne

A Mandalorian and a former galactic senator. During the Clone Wars, Bruce was one of the senators against the war, consistently voting against any military expansion, while also trying his best to fight the rampant corruption in the Senate. He continued to be a part of the Galactic Senate into the reign of the Empire, but would often work with the Rebellion, even leaving to fight with them when he had to. He was very careful to keep his identity hidden for a period, but after it became clear how truly evil the Empire was, Bruce resigned from the senate, devoting all of his time, energy, and resources toward the Rebellion
