Step 1: save

Step 2: check with your local print shop or your own printer settings for RGB vs. CMYK requirements. The images are in A4, 300dpi, RGB format (have you seen how terrible CMYK comes out on webpages???) but CMYK is the format used for printing. Different printing places have different requirements, so check to see what format is required of you.

Step 3: cut out along dark lines

Since this blog is what it is, Dickjay + Roy baby fever, sorry! 👀 Because ahhhahaha imagine if you will:

"So when are you going to let Dick knock you up?"

By no means are Roy and he the sort to pussyfoot around each other, but damn. Jason's jaw drops. From the kitchen, he can hear how Dick fumbles some dishes - a loud crash followed by an unnatural silence.

That Dick overheard the comment is mortifying. That he’s clearly listening for Jason’s response only makes matters worse.

Roy's question feels more accusatory than inquiring. It’s so shocking that, for a moment, Jason considers it before remembering he’s a man; there's nothing to fucking think about. Even if he could get knocked up, it’s not like Dick could—

Not the point. Jason scowls and stretches his leg across the couch, driving his heel into Roy’s thigh for being so crass.

‘As soon as you leave,’ is what Jason ought to say. It’s exactly the sort of sarcastic quip he’d usually banter with, but he's acutely aware of Dick's eavesdropping and while Dick wouldn't care, the thought of being so brazen makes Jason blush. Instead he grumbles, "We already have Damian."

Ugh, Jason can feel how Dick clutches his chest in endearment. The sentimental sap.

"Yeah, but don't you miss when he was a baby?" Roy asks around a nostalgic sigh and oh—this is clearly about Lian, which makes Jason snicker. That makes more sense. Roy probably saw some old photos or was accosted by the kid about wanting siblings or some such.

"He's arguably still a baby." Jason snarks, but can't bite back a smile at the memories of before and he finds himself sharing them eagerly—small hands that always reached for him, patting his cheeks and pulling his ears; wide, green eyes staring up at him with wonder instead of the sullen broodiness of an edgy punkass brat; the way Damian taught himself to walk just to toddle after him all the time and—

There's a thump from behind him and Jason startles, looking over his shoulder. He finds Dick half-sprawled across the floor, exposed from where he'd been hiding behind the corner. For a long moment, they stare at each other with matching flushes across their cheeks and Jason realizes that oh. He'd never told Dick about this part of Jason's sorted past, had he?

It's a problem to address at another time though, because Jason can feel the trouble Roy is stirring up behind him as the man comes to the conclusion that Dick is their weak link in all things domestic.

Jason turns on him with a warning, "Don't you dare—"

And Roy laughs as, at the same time he calls, "What's it gonna take for you to knock this man up, Grayson? He needs a baby!” And the crux of the matter, like the good father he is: “Lian would be so happy, come on!"

I drew one of the scenes from the rp story @lychee-not-dead-yet and I have going on :3

Context: Dick leaves Jason's apartment in the morning to have business lunch with Bruce. This is the inmediate aftermath of the Under the Red Hood arc. Dick has helped Jason in secret, leaving him patched up in his apartment. Bruce does not know about this, he thinks Jason is missing. Dick rolls on with the deception.

So, Jason hands Dick some lothes of his own for him to change from his Nightwing gear. Dick takes everything offered except the boxers, leaving them behind in the ground on purpose before quitting the apartment. Dick asked Jason for his phone number before leaving, and Jason saved himself as contact on Dick's phone as 'chick'. While the Dynamic Duo is driving to the manor to have lunch, 'Chick' sends Dick the picture of the boxers he left behind. Bruce now thinks Dick spent the night sleeping with one of his flings, instead of mourning/looking for his missing brother lol

in prime earth canon, jason todd (NOT red hood) was* publicly known to be alive

red hood: outlaw (2018) #32 (ID in alt text)

considering that jason todd was the official owner of the iceberg lounge during this time, it's likely he acquired the lounge legally and thus can be inferred that he had to be declared legally alive to do so

which brings me to my point:

i've seen a lot of people writing/speculating the difficulties and limitations jason experiences bc he was declared legally dead after ethiopia, which is all well and good, and is fantastic fodder for angst

but i've been wondering if this was bc people are actively ignoring canon (valid) or simply didn't know that at one point* jason was publicly alive (also valid, bc following comics is a shitshow lol)

please reblog to increase visibility! the whole point of this poll is to gauge how many people know this, so i'd love to see this post reach as many people as possible. thank you~! 😅🙏

i haven't read a lot of other important runs like death metal (2020), three jokers (2020), robins (2021), etc. if jason (NOT red hood) was declared dead once again in any of those, that is the reason why i used "was" in the very first sentence of this post and reiterate that he was alive at least for a limited period

my bad that i missed his second legal death tho LOLLL

i'm also aware that red hood (NOT jason) was known as "dead" by others after task force z (even though he clearly didn't die). that said, in the little i've read of tj:tmwsl, it seems that 1) not everyone knows red hood is actually alive, and/or that 2) red hood died at all. again, if red hood is generally known to be alive after tfz, that's on me

Dick should pamper this boy a little bit

It's a stupid thing to get flustered over, but Jason can't help himself. Being touched so casually, being praised — it's too much. The affection comes just as soon as it goes and Jason feels embarrassed over how desperately he wants more.

He raises his hand and tangles his fingers through his hair, tugging helplessly at it to chase that sensation of Dick patting his head. An inconsequential acknowledgement that Jason is good, fond and nicer than Jason knows what to do with.

So he stands there, dumbstruck and biting back a smile. Pleased, giddy — like a damn child.
