❤: Which character do you think is the most egregiously mischaracterized by the fandom?

Louis <3 I think this is an affect of how likable and overtly sympathetic he is in the amc show but I've seen people getting genuinely offended over Louis being described in fandom (and by Anne rice herself) as a manipulative cold hearted ass who uses his perceived vulnerability and gentleness to distract from the fact that he is just as cruel if not crueler then the other vampires. Like Louis does nottt have strong morals or high empathy lmao. Book Louis weaponizes his privilege like a white woman crying to self victimize into making the other vampires look worse them him 😭 . He refuses to kill humans for a while not bcus it hurts him to take life (he actually takes more pleasure in it then most), he refuses bcus he has catholic brain the way a christians who say "how do atheists have morals without god?" do, misunderstanding that most people actually care about other people and dont need an existential threat to encourage them not to hurt others.

His moral compass is self centered and based in up keeping the appearance of self restraint and monk style lack of enjoying himself, not empathy. If a vampire killed u would u feel better if u knew he cried over how much he got off on it then flaunted his suffering over how little he indulged so that everyone knew how piosis he was 😭.

He is way worse when it comes to how he treats his victims then Armand who intentionally seeks out victims who r asking to die or Lestat who tries the vigilante approach. Louis kills innocents and he thinks it makes him better cuz he only does it sometimes and he feels really really bad about himself afterwards. As akasha said (paraphrased) he's the most predatory of them all.

To specify I love book Louis SOOOO much I love how shitty he is that's why it makes me sad when people mischaracterize him as sincere and get gen mad when ppl characterize him how he is in canon (a lying selfish bitch bless his heart). Like ik amc Louis at this point in canon is unambiguously in the right but he isn't like an accurate reflection of how he is in the books 😭 it's not like amc did what anne rice was trying to do more successfully, they just nulled what anne rice was doing in favor of a more likable protagonist. Which is fine, but like, there's no crime in preferring evil to the core horrible asshole Louis of the books.

💚: What does everyone else get wrong about your favorite character?

I think the common fandom perception of Armand as the crazy unhinged "omg I can't believe he actually did that in the books??" sadistic maniac villain guy is funny but not really accurate. Armand explicitly not only tries to avoid violence but dislikes it and finds it hard to comprehend why someone would seek out violence and conflict.

The reason he is always doing fucked up shit isn't out of a lestat-esc desire to cause chaos, it's bcus his highly strung ptsd brain has him convinced that the world is a battle ground and he must always be defending himself and acting out in violence.

Since acting out in violence is a reaction hes been taught throughout his life to be standard and necessary, as violence is something so normalized to him he considers it more of a tedious chore then a last resort measure, he usually reacts to conflict in ways that are objectively extreme to anyone who isn't thinking from his perspective. In qotd he even asks Daniel why men choose to fight in wars, explaining that he doesn't understand the draw of violence (bcus he's not a man) and he can't comprehend the supposed thrill of it.

Then he says this in pl to Gregory

i was going to say Marius but I figure that's too obvious since everyone at this point knows I don't like Marius 😭 so here's an even hotter take,,,,, Lestat ‼️

Only to a degree, I think Lestat is hot and deserves the hype, but i also think he's hot in a different way then a chunk of the fandom does. Based on his book description he's kind of wonky looking, mouth too big for his face, vaguely unnerving shallow pale skin, starved 1700s peasant build but also kind of buff in the unhealthy "i dont eat regularly but I'm strong enough to carry a wolf for miles on my back" sense, weirdly small fucking feet. He def has creepy ass florescent blue doll eyes too. my point is I think when drooling over Lestat the fandom tends to forget this wonkiness in favor of blonde bombshell, Sam Reid chizzled jawline and abs, or conventionally beautiful anime twink, when they should be appreciating lestat in all his weird as shit glory.

What the fuck happened in Crystallized and why is it so bad?

Thanks to following icy-watch, I'm pretty much thru the ice emperor arc and stuff, but I cannot go another minute without knowing what the hell happened in Crystallized

ok so uh they kinda like screwed up harumis whole like "i dont love lloyd i was just using him" to like i actually like lloyd a little like MAAM you tried to kill him 😭 and also they brought her back to life after her poetic death which like i dont really mind but its whatever

and also the whole "shes with us" thing.. if you didnt know its lloyd basically going like yeah harumis on our side now because she helped fight against the overlord?? not even for any like moral reason it was ONLY because she found out he corrupted the great devourer and then it killed her parents like 💀💀

AND it brought nya back to life too in like the first few episodes like r u serious let her be dead for a minute like i assumed she would come back but that was TOO fast it was like her sacrifice meant nothing.. the whole thing was like oh once you become the ocean u cant turn back but apparently now she can???????

also lloyd.. his whole thing now is he hates oni which is um, did u forget mystake??? shes not even brought up once in this season. and they were hyping up lloyds oni form the whoke time like THIS will be the key to stopping the overlord!!! and then he finally does it, it stays for 3 seconds and then he looks at his reflection and gets scared and then never uses his oni form WHICH IS HYPED UP THE WHOLE SEASON to defeat the overlord 😭

and its also the fact that its the overlord again like omgg r we not done with him

and wu is suddenly like a super law abiding citizen cuz the ninja wanna break the law to save nya and wu is like NO i will not partake in this!!! i love police and the law!! SIR SINCE WHEN HACE YOU CARED!!!!

i will give crystallized points for making me cry tho, it was during pixal and zane ans he was like dying for the 10th time and pixal was like i dont know if theres an afterlife for being such as u and i but i will find you there and it was really sad and like yeah,, also the whole nya thing also made me cry even tho it was kinda sucky IT WAS STILL SAD OK WHEN SHE WAS READING ALL THE LANTERN NOTES 😭

i dont hate crystallized btw, it was really fun to watch and it was one of my fav seasons when i first watched until everyone pointed out all the bad parts and i was like yeah.. this isnt that good but theres a difference between enjoyable and good ok its fun to watch but its sucks

i have read a lot oc/reader insert fics written in a self-indulgent comforting manner (not judging btw good for anyone writing for comfort/vent reasons)

then i thought what if murder ghouls

does the ghouls like the siblings but are inherently feral cuz they are infernal or do they just dont care about them

what if they smell fresh blood from one of the siblings dorms, do you think they'd check? do you think they'd try to supress the urge to help the harming sibling or go unhinghed because of the metallic scent. how could they help even if they wanted to

what if the metallic scent just permeated from this sibling everywhere they went, every single day and the ghouls got frustrated

what if a sibling heard about the rumors of siblings disappearing after spending time with ghouls. so they start to trying hanging out with the ghouls in the most mundane ways. they didnt know the other siblings got killed behing secluded rooms or abandoned hallways so the sibling just tried to join their movie night, or helped them baking. ghouls getting confused, haven't this sibling heard about the rumors? do they have a deathwish? yes.

Ooooohohohoho. There are so so many thoughts to be had about this. Talk about sh, and suicidal ideation under the cut.

So, in general, I think all of this is largely ghoul dependent. Especially when it comes to whether or not they actually like siblings at all, you know? I think they range from actively disliking them (Dew, Cirrus), to being very apathetic about them (Mountain, Rain), to liking them in a "I'm still going to eat you" sort of way (Aether, Swiss). So their reaction to a sibling self-harming would vary by Ghoul. I don't tend to headcanon that blood makes them feral. I think they possess incredible control over their innate bloodlust. But they all notice. You know? They can smell it all over that sibling. But it's probably not all that uncommon for siblings to smell like blood every once in a while. It's the length of time it lasts that would raise red flags. A copper tang floating behind them like perfume would certainly make some noses twitch. Aether would try to help. Even murder ghoul Aether has a soft side--driven to eliminate pain (even when he's actively eating someone, he doesn't want it to hurt too much. He's much more into psychological torture than physical). He's gentle when he wants to be, kind. Paired with that and the quintessence, I think he could do a good job toward helping both with physical pain, and emotional. Also, I'm losing my mind about the idea of a sibling hanging out with ghouls trying to get themselves killed. I think some of them would catch onto the plot pretty quickly (Cumulus, Rain). But in general, I love the idea of them trying to figure out what the game is here. Why is this sibling so...normal around them. Acting like they want to be part of the pack. Why do they reek of blood all the time? What the fuck is happening? And I think, they'd be reluctant to kill this one. Something is clearly wrong with it, you know. In my weird murder ghoul world, all those negative emotion hormones make blood taste like shit. So they're not particularly interested in eating this sad little human they've accidentally adopted.

KATHLEEN FROM TLOU SOooo true. The show was great all the characters were great and nuanced and then Kathleen comes around and they make her an unhinged emotional child killing monster. Like that's supposed to make me ponder whether or not she was right to kill all those cops.... 🤨

No FR. The show tries to make her seem like the bad guy when she’s literally right? They’re like “ur brother would’ve forgiven that guy who got him killed” and she’s like “that’s exactly why he died” AND SHES NOT WRONG??? Her revenge isn’t petty, i know henry has Sam but even he realizes he literally is allowing fedra to destroy this community. Also btw REALLY weird they made Sam younger and deaf as if to make the idea of him being killed more “evil” it feels really gross.

In the game the way the game is shown exclusively from Joel’s perspective allows us to be empathetic but also acknowledge his views on the fireflies is extremely one sided and biased and he isn’t doing the right thing. But the show goes out of its way to positively portray anyone who is even REMOTELY like Joel. And it sucks cuz some of the best episodes come out of it and yet their implications for the larger politics of the show is weird.

Why does Bill an ancap who hordes resources get a gentle off screen death? What he does is immoral but because it’s not actively “”mean”” he gets to go into that quiet good night where as Marlene and Kathleen dont??

What he did has consequences as much as Kathleen but she has to be gruesomely killed as comeuppance after a contrived scene where she doesn’t tell anyone abt the zombies just cuz???? I rlly don’t like how the show makes her randomly want to kill civilians for no reason just to make her the bad guy cuz they can’t handle the reality that anti fascism is a complicated and messy and non peaceful reality at times but it’s still right. They couldn’t handle that. So then they add the magical non violent commune to retroactively be like “see Kathleen should be more like that” as if Joel doesn’t go on to kill anyone he disagrees w anyway. Niel is a liberal centrist who openly admitted the way he writes the the fireflies comes From his own weird views on the I/P conflict and I think it explains a lot.

Kathleen couldve been a nuanced depiction of the necessary violence that comes with needing to take down fascism and what it means to be a good person who makes tough sacrifices for the greater good. Give actual legitimacy to the other side, to the fireflies decision w Ellie later, so that when Joel murders them all it gives u the same gross feeling it does in the game.

But Niel literally shat all over his co creator Bruce Straley of the game by letting HBO give him sole credit and not acknowledge, involve, or pay Bruce at all for the show? So he clearly doesn’t care abt integrity.

so there’s something in s3 that really bothers me that is in the grand scheme of things very minor. They seemed to make a huge deal over all female teams. At first if was the Electras, they ranted about how women were the best football players, whatever. Then they made a big deal over D’jok joining a team who’s other members were exclusively women. THEN they made a big deal in 1 episode(i can’t remember which one) that 2 all female teams were playing against each other. This makes me irrationally angry.

If there’s one thing s3 does, it’s ruin pre-established things about the GF worldbuilding, this is one of those things, in my opinion. Before, it had been established that ANYONE can play in ANY team they want, the only requirement being having the same flux. Unlike in our world where teams are seperated by sex, in GF, women and men can play in the same teams. With The Xenons and Red Tigers as a notable exception, pretty much every team has had at least 1 female player, even though pretty much only the SK, Wambas and Pirates have different character models,making it hard to differentiate sometimes. The shadows have Nihla, who was referred to as “she” by Aarch in s1,even if she looks the same as her male teammates. Sarlight (a Lightnings player) is referred to as “beautiful” in ch3 of the novelisation, though their pronouns are never stated and they look like the rest of their team(and,who knows,maybe the lightnings really DON’T have any differences other than just color). And while,yes, there are a lot more men in these teams than women, i can almost guarantee that the reason was “they didn’t want/have the time or budget to make 2 separate character models for each team” which i honestly cant blame them for. “they could have mentioned it”, no, they really couldn’t. None of these background character players were important enough to get talked about in the series, so they wouldn’t have their pronouns mentioned. You can see with the Wambas that they COULD and probably WANTED to have more diversity in these character models, but they probably just didn’t have the time/budget. We probably would have gotten more canonically female players, but what can you do. (i mean, if Aarch didn’t confirm Nihla was female in s1, everyone,including me, probably would have assumed the shadows were an all male team because of the character models being the same and having no in-universe indication all Shadows looked the same biologically)

This is a universe where gender(and lack of it,seeing as robots can play) DOES NOT MATTER in the slightest. NO ONE CARES, and no one SHOULD logically care. If they live in a universe where anyone can play, it would make no sense for people to make a big deal out of something as insignificant as gender. And that’s how it was in the first 2 seasons,as far as i remember, no one even MENTIONED the Rykers being an all female team,or underestimated them in the slightest, why would they? The Rykers were seen as fucking terrifying, rightfully so. You didn’t need to be TOLD that these women were powerful and a great team, you were SHOWN they were.

Which is why that thing from s3 makes me angry. Besides the general storytelling rule of “show dont tell”, it just reminds me of that fake corporate kind of f3minism that puts a bad taste in my mouth. Like how hollywood seems to think that giving female characters special treatment they didnt have to work for(like mulan in the remake (which completely ruins the story btw)) or constantly pointing out to the audience “HEYY!! ARENT THESE CHARACTERS COOL,, AND THEY’RE !!!WOMEN!!! HEY GUYS IMAGINE THE IDEA OF WOMEN BEING SOMEWHAT CAPABLE!! GUYS AREN’T WE SO REVOLUTIONARY AND PROGRESSIVE FOR HAVING FEMALE CHARACTERS THAT AREN’T COMPLETE DAMSELS IN DISTRESS?? BUY OUR PRODUCT CUZ WE’RE SO PR0GRESSIVE AND COOL U GUYS WE SWEAR WE DON’T HATE WOMEN” is saying something(which it isn’t, and in fact makes a spectacle of capable women existing in fiction and in real life, which, suprise! in turn makes people think that women cannot be competent or equal to men unless they are an exception. WHICH IS OBVIOUSLY A BAD THING TO DO. And besides that just generally being bad, AS WE ESTABLISHED BEFORE, it also has no place in the Galactik Football universe, where we are shown that, while the Zaelion galaxy has in canon issues, gender equality is not one of them.)

So I aint writing all that again

Basically I only talked about buck because I was explaining my answer of choosing buck . I explained it is bucks relationships that I think he is shown as the main and I explained the relationships and thats why I didn't mention the other characters r/s.

Basically buck is given more fleshed out relationships with other characters and more screen time spent on his plot lines - I didnt say this was a good thing and it actually pisses me off cuz the others deserve better

The others get plotlines that are forgotten about or dont carry long lasting effects, arent given multiple episodes or mentions or happen over multiple seasons as bucks tend to do sadly

Example:

hens doctor/foster mum storyline was so rushed and should have been shown in the prior season to give more weight to it

Athena in 6x02 we dont get to see her feelings on that and if they remembered her and hens friendship and devoted more attention to it we could of had more impact and focus on athenas mental state

Does anyone except buck and Bobby know about eddies breakdown? We could have more angst and connection to others if this was shown - he could have great emotional convos with chim about their plotlines Shannon/maddie leaving (like we were supposed to be shown) and becoming a dad but we barely see them interact with more weight to their talks

Put the screen time and focus on buck/Abby for example and we have a lot of episodes on the developing realtionship, how he feels when she leaves and this is mentioned repeatedly throughout the seasons and she comes back

Also Buck gets some involvement in maddie and chimneys plot just cuz hes her brother

So the amount of detail that is given to bucks relationships and his plotlines is imo is more than the others and thats bad cuz I love ensemble shows and I want every character in them to be given equal amount of love and attention

But I think the shows focus is too heavily on buck and they treat him like more of a main

Hence I chose buck as the main

currently, it is my favorite kagepro song (this changes like every week but i digress...) and i really want to make a pv for it but i lowkey have no idea where to start

I LOV remind blue. like every kagepro song makes me want to rip my face off ♥️♥️♥️ but this one is one of those that make me feel so strongly that i cant listen to it ♥️♥️♥️ cuz i do that btw. i cannot listen to kagepro songs without preparing myself emotionally and it has to be when i am alone in my room. i could never listen to them in public. that'd be weird. im drawing and suddenly a kagepro song comes on in my playlist and im like this is so fucked up who put this here (<- i did)

songs like summertime record, lost day hour, remind blue and ayanos theory of happiness specifically i basically never listen to because it causes something in me both mentally and physically. im normal though.

TOTALLY support the idea to make a pv!!! i wouldn't know how to start either tbh💔 who would u make it be sung by?? like the song is so good but for the lyrics im like meh like str is already a thing. idk it sorta has the same vibe. its like summertime record and lost day hour's lyrics had a little baby together. which is why i always liked to interpret it as a haruka song but fuck it ig its shintaro's.

i also liked the idea of it being seto's or hibiya's. i think they'd deserve a song like this, especially hibiya!! tho for hibiya the whole "adult" thing is different LOL and even seto, he's just 17... ive always loved haruka being the punchbag for the "im an adult wtf" feeling because he goes from living his whole life thinking he will die and then he doesn't. or well he DOES die but then comes back, and suddenly he finds himself with his whole life ahead. like haruka and his early 20s crisis abt i did NOT think id be alive this long and now i gotta deal with everything those feelings bring me but at the same time i have to pay rent and worry abt what to make for dinner soooo erm fine ig. that's also what i think lost day hour is about, i know jin describes it more like a song abt old friends but girl idk it rly only has a couple lines abt that as opposed to all the rest of the song... erm. what was i talking about again.

i dont particularly care for remind blue so much (LIKE THE SONG SLAPS im still talking about lyrics) bc it's very heavy on the shit abt like growing distant and stuff sortof??? like kagepros ending/str is implied to have the mekadan not grow apart but kinda do their own thing while still meeting to hang out, bc kagepro is also about growing up and with growing up comes maybe growing distant from these friends you love, but they will always be important and one of a kind in ur life and when u meet its like time hasnt rly passed between you. not to mention the whole thing about combining eyes and how all the snakes will always end up gathering by the queen no matter what, meaning the dan will always be bound to make their ways back to each other no matter what, and are connected to one another by the literal narrative that theyre all actually sort of aware of a little bit (they always refer to their tragedy as a "story"..kagepro is a little meta lol). and like that's all so beautiful but also fuck it. they all meet for pizza nights every week. erm. the passage of time am i right

Ok so I started watching Game of Thrones for the first time in my life 4 days ago and accidentally binged it here's my opinions on characters so far (finished s2) unfiltered by The Fandom

Ned - was a great man, I feel so complicated abt his relationship with Cat and his unknown relationship with Jon's mom cuz the way he gets a far away look when talking abt her to Robert makes it feel like he is either super guilty abt it or he cared for her much more than he ever cared for Cat. Bro was so dumb for trying to save Cersei and her bastard kids. Myrcella and Tommen seem nice enough but two nice incest babies doesn't make the one that's killing the entirety of Westeros any better

Cat - so cool love love love, I hate how she doesn't have much agency and when she does it's to release Jaime??? I should probably rewatch the episode tho bc I'm watching the show at work (13hr shifts so I walk away a lot without pausing and get spoiled before rewinding) bc i just dont understand her thought process. I feel so terrible that she doesn't even know if any of her kids besides Robb are alive but freeing Jaime is NOT gonna help imo

Robb - every time I look at him I think abt how similar he looks to Jon like they could be twins dude. He needs to quit having a relationship w that one nurse girl cuz this is war and the only thing that comes from showing the world that you love someone BEFORE YOU WIN is that they need to kill her. Idk how they're gonna do it but she's gonna die. But he's doing so well as the leader of winterfell and I love how Sean Bean lives on in the show and everything he did had meaning and his death wasn't for nothing. Anyways Robb's gonna be a great king but he's totally probably gonna get fucked over by David Bradley and/or his millions of kids

Jon - pretty boring storyline I'm sad to say. It feels soooo slow when he gets on screen. The baby thing was interesting and so is the Pale Man (I'm sure he has a scary name but I wasn't paying attention too well). He IS an interesting character at least his backstory I mean and in relation to Ned and Cat

Sansa - poor sweet girl I cry for her everytime she's on screen can't somebody save her she's like 13 Cersei let her freeeeee. Her actress is so good btw, I really didn't like how she had a crush on Joffrey so quickly but she paid for it when Lady died and continues to pay for having a silly innocent little school girl crush on the worst person to ever be born

In a way her being such a terrible person makes me like Jaime because of the fact I doubt it was his idea to never interact with those kids. I keep forgetting their his kids too bc of the fact he's never around them or talks to them. Also her killing Jon Arryn was so stupid.

Joffrey - I saw a video on tiktok abt "the kind of person who watches the show from the wrong side" where the guy loves Joffrey and everything he does BEFORE I got to the part where he abused the two sex workers and ran away from a war he caused

Tyrion - he deserves happiness but Shae deserves to be free and now that Cersei is sus of her she's in so much danger. I don't think theyre gonna last and I'm gonna be so sad. I sincerely can't tell if Shae likes him or not and I feel like he's being suuuuper toxic by locking her up when he could've just let her be. When wartime came I was so impressed by him he was so cool. Truly one of the only good, if not THE best Lannister.

And your face was just overall sad everyone else had remembered your birthday including the members, but for your boyfriend to forget it lowkey hurt

Almost half the day passed and he still didn’t remember

So you ended up going into the room by yourself and started to cry

work drama before I actually update masterlists

(this is fucking LONG btw)

I think in my initial post I called her my ‘work friend’... um, we are not friends any longer ☠️

lmao uh basically, after that first initial post I made back in like sept? oct? when we got promoted, she was actually spoken to by our manager bc she was rly abusing her position over the new hires at work and they were starting to feel uncomfortable so we all ended up saying something and when she was spoken to then, she tried to play it off like “omg dude I got in so much trouble lol” even tho... that was technically the second time she had to be spoken to abt her attitude bc she was spoken to about it once before I got hired and we only got hired 2 months apart so... that wasn’t even a long time but anyway, she seemed to calm down a little after then - mostly bc I think she got scared?

but anyway fast forward to maybe nov and she's making all sorts of weird comments about my appearance and ykno I was going in to the office to work so she was seeing me irl and making comments about how I dress lazy (we dont have a uniform or dress code so???? what does it matter???) or that her “ clothes are so HUGE on her now but maybe they’ll fit me if I wanted them” or comments about how I had to do my hair roots bc they were growing in, etc. just rly petty comments that I brushed off bc they're so childish? like, who fucking cares???

BUT THEN fast forward to dec, around the same time I got into my car accident, I kind of backed off of work for a little bit and took on less projects just to give myself time to heal and just, not think about so much at once and to not give myself too much stress while I tried to figure out what was going on with my car and my insurance which - they didn't do anything about it so I have no car and no money for a new car :’) - and she started making comments like “woooow your project numbers are so low???” BUT we’re allowed to check our stats(its just project numbers and the money we bring in per project) but it’ll always show everyone else's stats too and it’s meant to just be like... for ourselves so we can see how we’re doing but it’s never MEANT to be to compare to anyone else so the fact she was pulling MY numbers at a time when she knew I was already going through a lot and slowing down on work while I sorted the other parts of my life???? but I still fucking didn't say anything bc, again, petty childish bs that I didn’t care about lol

the final straw was her making rly weird insinuating comments about me and one of our male coworkers cuz him and I worked on a lot of projects together before and after all this happened and he’s rly close to me bc we’re same age and just all around kind of the same person and he knows everything I'm going through so he helps me out a lot but she kept making comments insinuating there was something going on between us which a. we’re not allowed to date coworkers and I wouldn’t want to anyway??? b. im not interested in him like that?????? and c. he has a girlfriend??? so for her to be like ooooh you guys are spending an AWFUL lot of time together/must be nice to spend so much alone time together/etc. kind of made me feel rly icky???? so I spoke to our asm about it bc I was like, just weirded out BUT I also mentioned all of the previous things mentioned here, among other things that were also petty asf and she was like WHY HAVE U NEVER REPORTED ALL OF THIS (I did the first time just not everything cuz I kept forgetting everything she did bc there's just so MANY)

and then the tldr is that I finally had to speak to my manager about it which then prompted a meeting with our district manager(who already knew my coworker was a problem so lol...) and I was kind of trying to downplay it, honestly, bc I was like “its just petty nonsense that I dont really think twice about, it was just the weird insinuating comments that I am uncomfortable with bc it involves someone I DO consider a close friend and its not fair to either of us that she’s saying this stuff” and they considered it sexual harassment so... yeah... I mean I'm not surprised either, bc she’s not making these comments towards anyone else and also our manager reconsidered her promotion bc she's proven that she's not mature enough to be in the position so she was demoted until she can learn how to respect everyone in the workplace so she’s most likely taking it out on me bc I'm now in a higher position than her and in less time but... that’s because I minded my business? she literally could've just minded her own business and none of this would’ve happened but bc she decided to be petty and fucking weird, now all of this is happening AND our manager does not tolerate any of it so... yea,,,,, I said everything that I had to say and even tried to make it sound not as bad and my manager kind of gave me this weird look like “but you still dont have to hear it from anyone, its not okay” and I was just like yeah... thats true too 🥲 I've just experienced a lot of life trauma so I didn't think much of it but she’s right, I shouldn’t have to put up with this when I'm not even doing anything to deserve this kind of treatment.

and to put the final note on it, they updated me earlier today that they’ve already spoken to her and she’s pissed, obviously. she blocked me on all the social media that we had each other on and my manager told me that if she tries to speak to me or tries to retaliate, she’ll be fired so... yep that’s not rly what I was expecting but it is what it is lol

there’s probably some details I missed but its just been ALOT to go over in the last two days tbh.. I didn't expect it to be this bad but bc she’s already been spoken to in the past, I think they're just prioritizing it and making sure it gets handled asap which I appreciate that my peers actually care about me like they do but 😮‍💨 it’s fuckin exhausting I literally do not rest ever lol

shouto being so pissed at enji is funny yet sad and ughh got me all emotional cuz enji IS thinking about his family but he's also got the entire country going to shit stuff to figure out it was his problem that he was too into being a hero and not into being part of his family but hopefully the international heroes coming in will give us more enji spending time making things right

so ik MANY of us blame enji for letting deku go loose INCLUDING THE MAN SHOUTO HIMSELF but what katsuki says next is what we all need to hear something people are overlooking or focussing only on one part

katsuki says it's not enjis fault because he doesn't know deku like katsuki does he says that Deku's gone off the deep end with his self sacrificial tendancies and that all might who has the same flaws enables him

all might and deku are actually pretty private people and the person that knows both of them best is katsuki cuz of the time he spent in the meetings with them AND cuz katsuki grew up with deku watched him not care about getting hurt because he genuinely did not care about himself because all might and deku are similar he also drew the conclusions of all might's character from the deku he has always known

what katsuki says is that enji couldn't have kept deku safe because he didn't UNDERSTAND deku and he's right the people who understand him the best are all might, who enables him, the vestiges, who are dead, and katsuki, who's here

what I'm trying to add to that is not only do endeavor and the rest of the pro heroes not understand deku but they could have never controlled his hero-complex from going out of control

in the case of canon they let him and all might run free because they trusted his judgement and they thought it was safer to avoid being together so deku didn't get caught by the media which btw while stupid to us the readers is probably the best decision they could have made with the information they had

had they tried to constantly be around deku protect him work with him they wouldn't help things at all because deku doesnt want to be around people he doesn't want to hurt anyone with his presence anymore and the fact he's being sheltered would make him upset because he's the best thing they have

even if they told him from the beginning that deku had to stay in UA and that he shouldn't go out and about deku still would have and nobody could stop him he was never going to stay put he was never going to let himself be safe be around people be cared for because he doesnt care about himself

enji probably could have kept deku from going rouge for a little bit longer and shouto is rightfully upset at him because we all want to think that the number one hero would be able to protect deku especially shouto cuz said hero is his father

but just as katsuki stopped him by putting his hand on his shoulder I'm going to do the same and tell you what katsuki said as well

endeavor could have never kept deku from going off on his own it's not his fault it's not anyones fault maybe it's the vestiges fault for pushing deku maybe it's all might's fault for enabling him it's definitely all for one's fault for the mere fact he exists but no one outside of class 1A would have been able to stop deku because no one but his dearest friends would understand without seeming like they're looking down on him

I feel like im repeating myself over and over and maybe I am I just wanted to say though the fandom and the characters blame enji for not keeping deku safe, I personally believe he just wasn't the person suited for the job. It's not his fault ... ok maybe afo's because everything afo's fault.
