I really love the todobaku shoulder touch scene!! Is this bakugo's way of showing support? Can i get your personal interpretation about this scene?
I love that scene. I lived off on that scene for a long time after it came out in the manga. I think the anime did a good job of it, though it didn’t quite show in the animation how angry Shouto was getting. In the manga it’s so much clearer that he’s barely controlling himself.
He’s TMP-ing his feet here.
So I think Bakugou is stepping in to calm him down - but it’s like a really supportive gesture too. It’s like an “I got this”, “I’m with you” - it’s comforting and reassuring and gives Shouto space to calm down.
Bakugou stepping in also helps to keep the confrontation focused on Deku - before it devolves into a Todo-fam argument.
I think what’s remarkable is how easy that contact is between them. How naturally and unselfconsciously the gesture comes from Bakugou, how it helps Shouto to calm down, how he doesn’t shake it off.
So to me, this touch just also implies how close they got in the meantime offscreen. Neither of them are very touchy people, but the distance in this episode, in these chapters is shown to be disappearing.
They are comfortable and finding comfort in each other’s presence. The whole class overall, but it’s very apparent with those two because of how both of them always kept a little distance.
I don’t necessarily mean it in a shipping sense, but I feel they got really close, where they are much more open and much more openly supportive of each other than before.
Like I remember how this chapter hit me at the time thinking what must have happened in these few days, what conversations took place, how they must have helped each other through the heartbreak, the initial shock and anger and to be able to show such remarkable unity.

I think we should give Sero a little more credit for knocking the GPS thing out of Endeavor's hand during the Rogue Arc
Even more so the fact that immediately after doing that he went "uhh can we borrow this please??" Like he was desperate like the others but still somehow trying to be respectful lol
He's so funny but brave too imo, I love him

Um... there’s so many things I want to say to you. Where do I even start? We’ve been through a lot this year, huh? You figured out my secret with One for All. Let’s start with that. It’s been unreal to think that the quirkless me could one day become a hero in training and underneath our favourite hero All Might’s wing, no less. And though this has been an amazing experience that I sometimes pinch myself over and feel so very blessed about, it’s also had it’s troubles, too.
But you know what, Kacchan? I think that it’s thanks to you sharing in my secret that made all of this a little easier to deal with. I’m finally coming clean to everyone about it, but Kacchan... thank you for keeping my secret up until now. And thank you again for helping me train my quirk when things got a bit crazy with black whip and float emerging. Haha, wow... I owe you a lot, it seems...
I can’t remember much about what happened, but you also pushed me out of the way to save me from Shigaraki, didn’t you? Kacchan... thank you for saving my life. I’m sorry that you got hurt because of me but I promise you, I will never cause trouble for you again. Kacchan, I’m so sorry for everything I’ve put you through up until now. You know, while I was lying in the hospital bed I realised that all of the bad things that happened to you lately were mostly my fault. What’s more, the League are targeting me specifically now because of my One for All. So, that’s why before this all can get any worse... I’ve decided that I am going to leave U.A. I don’t want my problems with them bringing you and the others down anymore. I think this is for the best. It’s for the best, Kacchan.

Re-reading last arc, I saw this panel - and I’ll never be over their seriousness and the stubbornness of teenagers, their stoicism, and the way they eagerly took action and took responsibility for it, because Izuku was not there with them. Showcasing their believes and the way they stand for what they think is right; and not taking the version given to them by the adults, not taking anything for granted, not feeling comfortable to have them managing the situation. The distrust in the adults having the situation at bay and being able to make their best interest, the question written on their faces because despite being young, they are still capable to take their own responsibility and step up when they think they should. Future heroes of a new society.

I hear people are rustling about again saying that if Katsuki called Izuku "Deku," it would be a regression of character development.
Other people have talked about it before, but I'm here to remind you that 1. Katsuki has already called him "Deku" again, and 2. it is actually further proof of his development.
This isn't an "old habits die hard" situation -- we already got that in chapter 327 with "De-Izuku!" No, this is something else.
Why?
Because "Deku" is Izuku's hero name.
Chapter 345
Katsuki is communicating combat information here, so he addresses Izuku as a hero, as opposed to how he would address him in a personal context, and he still uses it when talking to Best Jeanist.
If anybody cares about being addressed properly by their hero name, it's Katsuki!
Chapter 319
He bristles at Yaoyorozu for calling him Bakugou-san during their mission to rescue Izuku.
Chapter 346
The first time Mirko calls him the wrong name, it's during the heat of battle, so he actually ignores it and answers her with the pertinent information.
Chapter 347
He only argues with her the second time she calls him by the wrong name when they are regrouping.
And, wait, okay, look, I actually want to point out something hilarious here--in the English release, they had Mirko calling him "Dynamight," dropping the Great Explosion Murder God part, but in Japanese she actually says Dainama (ダイナマ), not Dainamaito (ダイナマイト), both times.
Which means she shortens his hero name not just by ditching the grandiose title, but also by removing the All Might reference.
I like to think that is what he is most pissed off about LOL.
(Bonus: I highlighted in blue where he calls her ウサギやろー, usagi yarou, meaning "bunny bastard." The word "yarou" is typically an insult directed at men; the etymology itself is masculine. The official English release made this "bunny gal," I'm guessing to avoid readers walking away with the notion that Katsuki is confused about Mirko's gender or that he was insulting her gender. In reality, Katsuki is simply a progressively-minded foul-mouthed youth who does not discriminate between bastards!)
Anyway, see, we have already been shown how Katsuki refers to Izuku when he isn't communicating battle information.
Chapter 362
He uses Izuku's name out loud to himself as a personal aside right before his moment of heroism.
I think everybody is missing out on a much more delightful question. Katsuki has used Izuku's hero name, so are we ever going to get to see Izuku use Katsuki's?
And if he doesn't, if he just blurts out "Kacchan!" on the battlefield like the damn nerd he is, will Katsuki correct him?
I mean, we've never once seen him demand Izuku stop calling him by his childhood nickname, so is he just gonna let that one slide?
What a funny fucking exception that would be, huh?

I'm rereading parts of BNHA manga because the current arc has me in absolute turmoil and I noticed something! ( It's quite likely that other people noticed it already, I just haven't come across any posts as such)
Look at Kachchan. No really, look at him. Notice anything strange?
That's right! He's wearing his uniform perfectly! Collar buttoned, tie tied, looking so prim and proper! I don't think he's ever done that before. And when does he do this? When he goes to the principal to fight for information regarding Izuku.
