would the story completely change IF Yvette (mc's mom) decided to just choose Viktor and mc instead of her job? Like, the story goes as follows with Viktor sadly passing. But would things be a tad different if Yvette's there? Just been really curious about what if's, and hoping what's your thought on that! ^^

Ooohhh 🤔 So, Viktor still died the same way he did in the story currently? The answer is yes and no at the same time. Also, I'm assuming that Yvette is still working as a Superhero, but she's not as focused on it and it's not her main priority anymore.

I think the most different thing will be that she’ll have pretty decent relationships with both Luka and Grandpa, and MC will still be mostly raised by Yvette with Luka helping.

Also, Luka and Grandpa will insist for Yvette and MC to either move in with Luka at the family compound for both of their safety. They will also try to persuade Yvette to quit her career, but she won't because she doesn't want to be fully at the mercy of the Morozovs financially.

Cara will most likely still end up dying and Luka will become their legal guardian like in the story right now. Ash and MC will still spend almost every waking hour together from living in the family compound together.

Now, whether your MC is still thirsting for vengeance or justice, or whether they have found peace with their father's death throughout the years, it depends on your MC's personality and values, I suppose. And yes, I believe with a mother figure still around (especially one whose an Empath), MC will have the chance to cope better and healthier.

Yvette herself has always struggled on whether to seek vengeance like the rest of the Morozovs or just coming into terms with Viktor's passing. In the end, she will not actively seeking revenge, but will not mind helping and even participate if the opportunity presents itself.

But since Yvette is still a superhero, she might still end up being targeted by the Nemesis Project. So, in the end, MC will still be pursuing the leader--if not to avenge their father, then to protect their mom, or maybe both at the same time.

💌Jamil Viper and Azul Ashengrotto (poly) + Prompt #15 (Ranting about how insufferable they are, but your friend thinks knows otherwise. Bonus points if the subject of your conversation overhears Everything.)

Flight Class was brutal.

Well, that was to be expected with a musclehead like Coach Vargas. But there was just something about today that got under Azul’s skin more than it usually would have. Specifically, two sets of eyes burning holes into his back as he painstakingly trudged through the aerial drills.

On a different day, he would have taken your and Jamil’s attention as a positive sign towards roping either of you into a contract with him, but today? The unreadable looks on your faces, coupled with what he knew were snide remarks shared between the two of you… it all affected him more than he could brush it off.

Though, what could he do about it? Nothing, really. That was the frustrating part.

Azul had bigger—no, more important things to worry about. He should forget about it. He approached the shed where the rest of the flight brooms were kept.

“—so obvious.”

“Excuse me, you couldn’t keep your eyes off of him either.”

“It’s because his form is dreadful.”

Speak of the devil. What a cruel set of circumstances Azul has found himself in. His better instincts bring him to hide and eavesdrop.

“Suuure. The one day that he doesn’t bother recruiting you into Octavinelle, and you’re almost worried, you mother hen.”

“Please, Azul’s flying is an accident waiting to happen. And who’ll be responsible for coaching him when that happens?”

“Oh? So why do you look excited at that?”

“I’m not. It’s burdensome.”

“Incorrigible as he is, you’d have to admit he’s…quite the looker when he’s not blabbing away.”

Did Azul hear that correctly?

Jamil doesn’t say anything—probably doesn’t have a rebuttal prepared, his silence could almost pass for begrudging agreement.

“Ha. I knew it, you’re just as bad as me. Can I have a drink from that, by the way?”

“...You should have bought your own.”

No, Azul won’t reveal the fact that he overheard the two of you just yet. He decides to leave his hiding spot, plaster on an oblivious facade as he puts his broom away, interrupting the tail-end of your conversation.

(For now, he can revel in your spittake-turned-coughing-fit and Jamil’s panicked expression.)

For context later on: Minsoo's parents divorced when he was very young, and his mother had full custody of him; father had no contact with him during his childhood, only paying child support.

Minsoo had his first homosexual realization at ripe age of 12, when his best friend came out as a lesbian to him ("wait so... if girls can like girls, then boys can like... boys? Like romantically???" And suddenly all fictional crushes made sense 💅).

Unfortunately his mom was FAR from accepting - she never allowed him to like "girly" things or grow his hair longer - so let's just say that when she found out a few years later, it didn't end well. He was sent out to live with his biological father. Thankfully, his dad, as well as stepmother and half siblings were pretty chill so it all turned out much better for him.

As for his relationships... ha. Haha. Poor dude has ZERO luck and his gaydar is completely broken. All his crushes were straight 💀 those who he talked to at least, because most of the time he was too shy to even approach anyone. And unintentionally looking like a mean rich kid didn't make him very approachable either.

As he got older he kinda gave up looking for relationship for the sake of his writing career (and poured his romantic frustrations into fanfictions).

When he met Jumin through the rfa app, he fell for him almost immediately. But knowing his past experiences, he assumed Jumin is straight and didn't consider any romantic possibility; still he wanted to be his friend and help him during hard time. Boy was he surprised when Jumin returned his feelings 😌💕
