Why does MC have to have set personality of obedient puppet at the beginning? Raising someone to obey doesn't always work, may even have quite opposite effect - making them rebel against it.

because i said so and i’m the poor soul who has to put up with the thirsty aren asks.

but fr it’s because of the trauma and abuse that mc suffers at the hands of their parents and the fact that rebelling would only result in people they care for being punished.

Sawyer and MC being customizable means I will enjoy imagining the way they become accustomed to different body and health shapes like for example:

- short MC hating the fact Sawyer is taller, which meand they have to lean down to talk to people, they keep bumping into stuff they didn't worry about before, their clothing sizes are annoying because if you find something at the correct height, it might be too wide and baggy

- MC has bad eyesight but Sawyer doesn't so they are amazed at seeing all in HD but they also keep trying to push up glasses they don't wear now

- MC suddenly dealing with Sawyer's agent-related injuries and aches. "HOW ARE YOU STILL ALIVE I AM HURTING ALL OVER" "That's why they give us the good stuff"

- This is cyberpunk so either of them might have different modifications and they have to adjust to their existence or absence

This is gonna be so fun, I can't wait. 🥰

What are the MC's set traits?

Oh I’m looking forward to hearing about your Deities! 💞

The mc’s set traits are:

Hardworking/diligent -> there won’t be an option to slack-off and avoid work.

Highly perceptive -> good at seeing people’s true natures, however, some still slip through such as Hayle.

They’re not interested in being involved in this game of tug and war with Celea and the Fallen.

They have a close relationship with Aeryn and Hayle and care for them both, but you can choose how you express that (or don’t). You can also choose how you react to Hayle’s leaving and subsequent personality reveal (other than shock).

You can play as grumpy or snappy, and be rude when the time might call for it, but you can’t be needlessly rude or cruel.

They’re almost always tired in the beginning of the first book. But this tiredness can come out as constant fatigue, hyper-activeness, anxiety, stress, etc.

Personality types available in the prologue: Kind, Sarcastic, Stoic, or Grumpy. As I said before, pretty bog-standard.

Personality types available in the main game: Kind/Grumpy, Sarcastic/Genuine, Stoic/Emotional, Serene/Energetic, Blunt/Tactful, Prideful/Humble.

You can choose how you react to the ros and other characters.

You can choose how you feel about Celea and it’s politics and beliefs.

I will always try to give you guys as many options and reactions as I can, but THE MC IS NOT A BLANK SLATE NOR INTENDED TO BE A SELF-INSERT! I’ve seen how harsh some people can be about this and want to make that very clear now.

hi!!

mc and their brother have lived with vanya since they were little kids. they would spend some nights at basil’s place though. with june it’s a bit different because they met when june was a teenager. they lived with mostly basil as vanya’s place was already crowded and then got an apartment near the laundromat. they all care about june and think of them as family but it’s just a different dynamic.

dungeon farming economy setting with a healer girl MC suffering crippling boredom due to her subclass being inefficient for the most effective farming parties so she's stuck guiding noobs over and over again on the upper levels

then she meets this absolutely unhinged berserker woman that's bleeding all over the place but damn she's good at fighting and it turns out she needs a healer that can work with her that isn't one of the pansy barrier healers that the meta teams want and noone wants a berserker because they're insane and get stronger the closer to death they are, which barrier healers can't help because they're designed for preventing damage and topping off whatever slips past their mitigation. MC's healer class is fucking awesome at sustain and keeping people from dying but all the meta parties use classes and equipment that rely on constantly being topped off, which she can't do because she mostly has beefy heals and defense buffs

so, seeing nothing else to do, MC and Zerker go dungeon diving and after a rocky start, they hit off immediately because MC is actually insanely fight-happy and just wants the rush of a good fight, while Zerker is partly a masochist and partly doing this as a coping mechanism

and thus they become badasses that get further down the dungeon than anyone else in recent history all through sheer gumption, spite, and a looooooot of hyperviolence

oh, and they have hot sloppy yuri sex, can't forget that

#is this anything #literally a shower idea lmao #could probably stand to add more chars but healer MC and zerker are the main pair #also most of the idea is lifted from the stamina/emnity metas in gbf lol #with the fact that stamina teams are the meta for auto farming #and those emnity(more dmg w lower hp) and garrison (more def w lower hp) teams are more common in more difficult raids #yuri dungeon divers

whew this is a big lookbook! i’ve been working on daphne’s wardrobe for almost nine months now 🤯 mind blind is really special to me for many reasons, but a huge one is how it exemplifies just how much little choices can build character development. all it took was that chapter 1 option to have the mc sleep on bamboo sheets because she “likes a little luxury” and daphne walked into my head fully formed! the game has so much heart and humor, the personality choices are so unique and thoughtful, i could go on and on but 10/10 recommend, more on daphne below.

i had originally had little notes written by daphne on her outfits, but i scrapped them because it looked too cluttered. however they were cute and important to her character so i’m just gonna write them here!

everyday: can you believe grayson still won’t take a hint despite the baby tees daphne wears?! she lives to make him blush. also those vintage von dutch jeans are her prized possession

formal: spot the dress she wears to reese’s dinner party! the rest are for blending in at nick’s unity events-- enough to avoid the press while still catching the eye of an attractive stranger.

athletic: daphne puts on these outfits to walk on the treadmill for twenty minutes then take selfies

sleep: nick and sally constantly roast daphne for her obsession with cute pjs. nick complains that the money she spends on nice pajama sets is a major drain on resources

party: daphne’s favorite clothes to wear to the underground music venues she attends every weekend. music, especially live music, is her best coping strategy. the attractive company also helps keep her mind off grayson.

swim: daphne had big ideas for a post-graduation trip with sally to turks and caicos. though the vacation fell through, she kept the outfits.

hot weather: some remnants of her coconut girl phase, and rarely weather appropriate.

cold weather: no these are not all warm enough for chicago winters, but fashion is pain. also daphne rarely leaves the house without her headphones on
