Teyvat is aware of their divine using them as a vessel. Teyvat is aware Celestia cannot defeat you either… As Celestia was obviously made by you. However, you have some concerning habits… Some are very very cute in your harem’s eyes ~ While some makes them worry for your health.

You have a problem with making your Genshin self-insert insert having such a gruesome backstory, it makes them wanna cry and hug your self-insert in their world. Apparently, your insert is indeed inserted in the game— ahah, when you shut off the screen and log off of course ♡

Perhaps, let’s say Zhongli would pick up on how you eat a lot of food… It amazes him. You even have a lot of mora, that you only spend it on food and nothing else. It… Does make him worry— But Yanfei would definitely sign the chefs to make your favorite dishes, just in case ~

Xingqiu would pick up on how you write an unfamiliar word called “Fan-fictions”. It has some Japanese words such as “Yandere” and “Tsundere”. He listened further into your works, and goodness, he has never felt so called out in his entire life when you specifically explained what Yanderes are. If you liked writing about Yanderes… You wouldn’t mind him being one for you, would you?

Childe would laugh his ass off whenever he hears you talking constantly to yourself, pretending as if you’re responding to them. But this makes him think you’re trying to communicate with him and Teyvat, makes his heart sore so much. You’re so sweet and acknowledging everyone, specifically him. ♡

Characters such as Pantalone and Baizhu have a realization you love spending Primogems on wishes, and always wasting them. So what do they do? Mischievously somehow gain Primogems for you, which you didn’t complain about at all.

People also have heard about your hatred towards Albert for being a creepy stalker. Now, this made Mondstadt furious at Albert. Not only does he stalk poor Barbara, he even dared to boldly disappoint you. (Barbatos killed him ehe)

Barbara has never felt so loved this much, she wants to bawl her eyes out — to show how much she loves and adores you.

Characters like Razor and Raiden Ei have come to realization you love sleeping around so much, they’ve gotten to know you sleep in work from time to time whenever it’s break. They take this advantage to make a setup room for you, where either of them can hold you in their arms and cuddle as they sleep against you.

Beidou, Lisa and Yae Miko would often see that you especially get easily injured. I’m not saying they’re the only ones terrified— trust me, many people in Teyvat are going to kill whoever hurt you,,, but they are the ones who ends up hearing about your condition. They’re so worried when they find out you don’t scream in pain, nor do you care about it because you’ve always been clumsy since childhood. They’re so worried, they might have a heart attack someday.

The Adeptus’ pick on the fact you like listening to “8-bit” version of music… It sounds hard to play, but they can’t deny you did have taste in music. Makes the guy from Lantern lite quest more inretested with you, and wishes to know you more! Or more so… Perhaps Enjou would take interest in this.~ He’s just as silly as you, why not?

Dainsleif notices how you stare at his character with adoration and love his design oh so much, that he also knows you love drawing, just like Albedo. Hearing this, Albedo loves you to death, like… Literally.

Aether hearing you’re also unstoppable that even Unknown God can’t stop you? Goodness this boy is falling in a deep rabbit hole for falling for you~!

Paimon sees you as a mother/father figure too honestly… Paimon relates to you so much about food, and always gets so happy when you agreed by getting food. Despite your tired expression, she just wants to cry because you did not once call her an “Emergency food”.

How about your complex theories? Tighnari and Al-haitham will have a whole set of a store with written details about your theories. You did die when Teyvat was made, so makes sense why you didn’t know everything. (…. You ate popcorn and watched your show as Archon war was a thing.) Every theories, is about very interesting things.

Snezhnaya and Tsaritsa would be so happy when they find out your world was filled with snow (to those who live in a snowy weather like me), and would flex it off to other nations like cocky little bastards. They see this as a blessing, and would try getting to know your culture by just the fact you and them have snow. That would mean you wouldn’t be cold in their place, right?

How about Fontaine being in horror when they find about your Creepypasta and FnaF books? They’ll keep themselves aware of the woods and will isolate any innocent beings from anywhere that involves woods and trees. Jeff the killer and Jeffrey C. Hodek (canon Jeff) definitely traumatized numerous of the people in Fontaine, considering their skins got burned a lot.

Yelan being also surprised she and other rich people in Teyvat, are in fact not the richest people in their own world after learning that… Moras aren’t actually real money? I can see Mona laughing at their misery, even though she’s sad she doesn’t exist literally in your world. How the fuck is she supposed to kiss hug you huh?

Venti and Nahida being so drawn to your morning voice, hearing you cursing as they didn’t know what the meanings behind those languages meant. Nahida would stare at your face in awe, listening to your stories as Venti would too, making a song about it probably— only for it to go downfall when they realize you occasionally hurt yourself in work. They’re horrified. YOU FELL OFF THE STAIRS??! They’re gonna faint.

Cyno who is in love with a heated face when he learns you love jokes, hearing you making a dark humor that just has him down bad for you— and ends up laughing. Your dark humor never goes too far, and he just loves it that you can accept his jokes. He is definitely going to be very loyal towards you…

Imagine Scaramouche/Wanderer lovingly gazing at your side view as you try to do makeup real quickly before playing your game. It didn’t matter. He loved your little habit of always doing your makeup first— and then play. He’s patient, and will always try his best… Ends up killing Hilichurls under one second, oops~

With everyone in Teyvat learning about your habits, learning about your talents…

They officially are definitely in love with you. They will always love you. They know when it’s you, even if someone tries to look like you and act like you to get attention. It will never work. — aether holds you close, rubbing his cheek against yours in efforts of slowing your anxiety-ridden breaths down — he won't lie, he's pretty anxious for you as well; but he knows he has to keep his composure so as to not freak you out even more — whispers sweet, calming words into your ears and will tell you that everything is going to be okay

[albedo]

— given that he's not an actual human, albedo does a pretty good job of calming you down — brings you your favourite hot drink (with the right amount of milk/sugar that you love) plus a blanket so that you can curl up in his lap while he calms you down :3 — stays by your side the entire time while you cry :")

[arlecchino]

— slightly rough but when she sees you upset it is on SIGHT with the person who made you cry — will go batshit crazy. just for you — gives a very opinionated speech about how she would report this person who made you upset to the department head yadda yadda and it makes you smile

[ayaka]

— definitely freaks out a little bit but remembers what thoma does for her whenever she feels anxious — holds your hand and squeezes it gently to assure you that she's there for you — she listens a lot and doesn't talk. will let you spill out everything while she sits there and rubs the back of your hand

[ayato]

— keeps his composure and is somewhat like a steady rock — will make you your favourite hot drink!! he remembers the little things about you so the right amount of sugar and milk and water etc — brings tissues and a soft cloth to wipe the tears away from your face while he sits there and holds your hand

[beidou]

— she gets a bit more quiet because she hates seeing you upset like this — slightly murderous look in her eyes because she will obliterate the person who made you this upset — holds you in her arms the entire time she tries to calm you down — wipes away your tears with her thumb

[capitano]

— doesn't speak a lot, he's more of a listener — enjoys holding you in his arms :( the quiet comforter is good at that and his presence is generally very calming — also he knows the exact way you like your fav drink — will be out to murder the person who made you sad

[childe]

— hums a soft melody, the same way he used to calm down his siblings when they got upset. also kisses you a lot throughout — (except that you get a lot more cuddles than them. lol) — cooks you your comfort dish while putting it on your favourite plate with your favourite set of cutlery (the fork and spoon with the cute little whales on them)

[diluc]

— asks adelinde to make you a pot of tea <3 — plays a soothing melody on the piano in efforts to calm you down. he makes you straddle him facing away from the piano and lean against his shoulder — presses kisses to your forehead while you spill about everything that made you upset

[dottore]

— bit of an eccentric comforter but thats okay! — he enjoys telling you stories about his past research and it makes you smile a lot (the safer versions, i'm gna pretend he doesn't do anything sketchy just in case ppl @ me) — i honestly can see dottore as a cuddler i'm sorry to those who disagree. this one's for @cxlrosii #1 dottore lover

— she's.. not used to comforting you / other people so she's a little awkward — but she tries! she tends to just sit and listen while giving an extremely violent opinion about the other party to make you laugh — it works :) will bring a soft cloth to wipe away your tears as you sit on her lap

[ganyu]

— gets a little panicked but has to calm herself down before she can calm you down — brings tissues and small pieces of candy for you for eat bc she believes that its a better medicine ;) — also brings qingxins for you for some reason. 10/10 comforter tbh

— wraps you in this huge hug with his tail wagging and all!!!! super cute sight — he hates seeing you sad. will cuddle you on the spot even if other people are around — he lets you pet his ears longer than usual bc he knows it makes you happy :(

— i can't get the image of him straddling you while kissing you to make a smile appear on your face — wipes your tears away gently while telling you stories about the arataki gang getting into trouble — he might have thrown itto under the bus.. but oh well. heizou gives good cuddles okay

— 10/10 BEST COMFORTER. will beatbox your troubles away — also likes to throw you up into the air for some reason??? like you could be crying on the floor and be up in the air the next — he's very careful though and he's super sweet about it. brings you to eat your favourite food afterward <333 lets you win onikabuto fights

— sweet and comforting, just like her sister — you get a little worried bc you can see the stress etched on her face and you're def worried that you're burdening her but she very quickly catches on — you were not and never will be a burden to jean :( she loves you very very much

— comforter SUPREME. 10/10. i want to cry so he will hold me in his arms and tell me that everything is alright — sings your favourite song & also loves to cook you your favourite food while you cry about everything to him. lets you taste test — he does this little nodding thing each time you say something its very cute

— literally the definition of your pillar of strength — she's calm, collected, and analyses the situation pretty well so she can calm you down in the way you need it the most — loves to run her fingers through your hair to help you calm down plus give her a smile (it works)

— she does this little quiet exhale when she sees you being a mess. then tells you "come here, darling" — then gathers you in her arms while you sob everything out of you — makes you your favourite tea + grabs your favourite book so she can read softly to you — also cuddles you very well??? hello???????

— super sweet about everything — assures you that you are not a burden and the only burden is the person who made you upset — she hates seeing you sad like this :( will cuddle you all night to make you happy

Space Rider's AU Voice Claim Headcanons Part 2

Finishing what I started. We still got the last three girls of the space critter crew of @onyxonline's au.

Crafty

Now, Onyxonline's Crafty is different than the common fandom version. She isn't as shy or introverted like Fluttershy from MLP. So I avoided any shy characters.

Calm, with a good diversity to sound both professional and carefree.

A bit less on the serious professional side, and more on the fun cheerful side. This feels like the better option of the two.

I do want to add a mention to a third character. Unfortunately, they aren't playable in the game yet. Chiori, a fashion designer in game. Sounds like a good choice, though there a bit too sassy to fit Crafty.

Energetic, peppy, always wanting to help. I think Yanfei's voice is a good fit for the ever supportive Bobby.

Similar to Yanfei. A nice, energetic, and cheerful choice. Though the cat moments in the voice does subtract some points.

A more of a softer voice than the other two, but no less caring.

Picky

Looken for a southern accent for Picky? Then Xinyan the choice. Very supportive and always looking to cheer there friends and allies. Sounds like a good Picky choice to me.

Want something a bit more close to cooking Xiangling a good option. Sounding a bit more on the younger side, so I was on the fence with this choice, but AI decided to still mention it.

Cheerful, with a bit more of a faster speech. Which I feel could be a fun quirk for Picky. Otherwise, still a good option.

And that's all, wow. Now this is all my opinion. Others could disagree and that's perfectly fine. I simply wish to share what I think are good voice for the critters. Once again big shout out to @onyxonline. Who's Space au was what started this whole thing. You know what kind of power you hold.

So a lot more people liked my rambling about vision users elemental manipulation so I’m going to talk more about it. For starters, the Traveler could be stealing so many cool moves. Al Haitham is just a human. You would think MC would see his burst and go “I’m stealing that.” Hell, the way Noelle’s moves are so fundamental yet useful, you would think the character in Mondstadt would add “Bigger sword” to their catalog of moves. Even Nilou understands how to manifest a ring of water while Yelan is refracting light. I could watch a show of the MC seeing something like that and immediately wanting to go get said element.

The deep dive they could do in the anime is pretty interesting considering most people don’t have visions yet in lore there’s neat ways it’s used. I think most people know Klee actually uses her catalyst for the lasers and detonating bombs, which is why her animation are her grabbing the bombs out her bag instead of using fireballs like Yanfei. I wanna know how’d she learn to use pyrokinesis like that.

Also something neat, Charlotte loves her cryo vision and uses her camera with it specifically because it can never overheat; which makes me wonder if Chevruse it’s using gunpowder

I NEED KAMISATO TRAINING.

This one buring thought has always boggled me. They are an established clan who practice a lineage style martial art. So my question is are there books from their old technique scriptures that were written or had vision bearers in mind? Ayaka can turn into a mist cloud to move and it’s a “Kamisato Art” who figured out how to do that and teach it? That’s a teachable move up for grabs. Is there a version of that for Ayato, cause by all means we know that isn’t an element specific move. Mona does it.

Be it on purpose or accidental, the floor and ceiling for Vision users is vast with a lot of overlap. We see all catalyst users have the same form of plunging attack. Game mechanics aside, is that instinctual to do or learn?

If I had a vision then met Fischl and Oz, I’m asking questions, cause she made him and nobody talks about it. Not only does Lisa make an electric lantern, but she taught Razor and he manifests a wolf. If I’m Bennett I’m asking for a lesson. Once again, Diluc casually throws a phoenix like it was part of curriculum

It’s also established it’s tiring using too much elemental energy and some feats are more obtainable by people who aren’t average mortals. However, where does that begin and end? Scara got a vision and learned to fly. Why? Is it somehow related to him being a puppet or is that a trick most Anemo users don’t consider/attempt. Navia makes canons instantly. That’s a mortal feat. Gorou could learn kind of move and then war is just different. 😂

I need to see human vision holders legitimately discuss their abilities with one another. Chongyun could have a cryo avatar if he learned. Xingqui and Chongyun make swords constantly. Xiangling and Hu Tao could copy them and each other. That’s wild to me. In game I know why they don’t but in a cutscene they could go crazy! The chasm had Yanfei do a barrier move that isn’t in her kit! What’s the depth here!?

I have Kujou Sara on the mind again, and today at the barn I was thinking of the Liyue version of "she gets sent off in a political marriage." Mostly the part where this cheerful young half-adeptus keeps popping up around her and offers to personally tutor her in Liyue law, which Sara appreciates! But she does spend a while wondering why Yanfei is doing this (and, in the meantime, building up this kinship with someone with non-human origins who regardless lives in the human world and concerns herself with its affairs; she's vibing similarly and even more so, if more quietly, with Ganyu, but Yanfei is the one who keeps chasing her down) before she finally dares ask, and Yanfei tells her very cheerfully that her good school friend Shinobu asked her to keep tabs on her. Which gives Sara a lot of emotions.

Chongyun

✧ This boy plays all (absolutely all) paranormal games. He is also no stranger to horror as the two genres often go hand in hand. For this reason he got a lot of viewers, as he sticks to the trends.

✧ He started recording thanks to you and his friend Xingqiu. He believes that this is how he can easier meet someone who spoke to ghosts before which has been his dream for a long time. He had a few reports so far but though he had thoroughly investigated them, they turned out to be false. His dream is to see at least one ghost in his life.

✧ Chongyun likes conspiracy theories. He has a couple of videos commenting on them. He believes in a lot of strange things.

✧ Fans loved him mainly for his personality. He is very open towards them and does not criticize. For this reason there were some haters very early in his career saying that he was actually faking kidness because no one can be so nice all the time. Chongyun said he didn't mind but you decided to intervene because it shouldn't be like that.

✧ One of his special signs is ice cream. He overheats very quickly and always keeps spare tube in the freezer. He ate them in front of viewers to such an extent that a brand of frozen sweets offered him cooperation. He agreed and now you can see his entire line in stores. In return, he got a huge supply, so he's happy.

Yun Jin

✧ She started her career working in the opera. Thanks to this and education devoted to singing, she dedicated herself to this field for the rest of her life.

✧ Once she started working regularly, she realized how little people know about the behind-the-scenes work in a place like this. So she started with a few videos with trivia about the opera. She was very keen on spreading culture and older traditions in a modern version. Then she moved on to covers of all sorts of songs and it stayed that way for a long time. Her timbre of voice is perfect for calmer titles but she has been persuaded several times to collaborate with Xinyan and her rock tracks.

So… Genshin ships, huh?

Here’s mine.

(They’re numbered but everything past #1 gets scrambled depending on the day and the feels).

XIAOVEN. It’s my Genshin OTP. I got into the game because of these two pretty much. Individually, I adore their stories, their VAs, all their scenes, everything. And then you want to put them together?? Count me all in. (Plus, I’m grabbing onto the scraps that Xiao wants to meet Barbatos in canon 👉👈)

CYNARI. This popped up so recently but my love is growing rapidly. I love Tighnari’s sassiness. I love Cyno’s dual personality of a stoic guy with dad jokes. They have an adopted child. They have BANTER. Need I say more?

SHENJIN. Grew on me SO much. I love a stoic Shenhe and an overactive and over-thinker Yun Jin making it work. I kinda see Yun Jin as the female version of Venti, but a little more… self-aware? Self-conscious? Assertive? Just more of something. So short girl trying to pick up the tall beauty? Hell yes.

VENLUMI/LUMIVEN. All right, OTP aside, I love most ships with Venti. You could slide into my dms, say, “Hey Banter, what do you think of [random character] x Venti?” And I’d probably be A-Ok with it and start brainstorming headcanons for them (y’know, just don’t give me a child character ship). I’m so easily swayed. That being said, Lumine’s (mostly headcanoned) sassy, headstrong, and almost stoic personality mixed with a sly, teasing Venti (who gets easily flustered/vulnerable sometimes) is my absolute jam in f/m ships so you can bet this one runs in my mind rent-free. Plus, the whole “my warrior” pet name business? MMMM.

DILUVEN/ZHONGVEN. Okay, I know these are totally separate ships but I’m going to put them together because I gotta get my favorite Venti ships out of the way and explain that I do see these two on the same level, but love them for very different reasons. So, Diluven is—hot, but also just. Tragic. Mortal and immortal? Count me in. The whole business where Venti calls Diluc Master? (A translation thing and it’s just Venti being respectful but it’s still hot). Zhongven, on the other hand, has banter. Old friends. Immortal and immortal yearning. Tragedy ending, tense beginning. Lots of potential. Yeah.

And that’s pretty much it for ships I actively seek out.

But there’s some that I either want to get into more or am curious about. Let’s list a couple:

Albether—two blondes together? Very calm and gentle personalities? Aether is adorable? Interested.

Jeanlisa—witch and knight. Also, I like the potential for a mature romance from them, you know? They’re both responsible adults, so I don’t think there’d be much shyness here, just the existential questions to explore this really deep, intimate relationship and whether or not they have the capacity to put their all in it with Jean’s responsibilities and Lisa’s half-cut life. It’s really nice for it to be so. Adult.

Yanlan—Assassin and lawyer? Is Yanfei completely oblivious or does she… help? Fun, fun potential aus.

Eimiko—They’ve got banter. I really like Yae’s design and both of their personalities. I see political aus abound with these two.

Thomato—aside from the adorable name, I like the dynamics of this ship. Housekeeper and lord. Awesome.

That’s all for now. There’s others but… I’m not super invested as of now.

Though, I wish I could get into ships with Kaeya, Gorou, and Heizou, but I can’t seem to get into the ships with these three. Maybe if I actually read a good fic on them or something. Idk, recommendations for any ships listed (or new ships) are welcome!

久しぶり！皆はどう？私は元気。私たちが最後に話してから、たくさんのことが起こった。

先学期はとても難しかったんだ。Cさんと私は話しを止めた。I won't get into too many details but my mental health was absolute dog water. とても落ち込んでいた。。。I still somehow managed to get on the dean's list (i have no idea) (it was my 4 credit chinese class that i got an A in that helped me do it)

With all that said, I'm doing a lot better now. I just hope it stays like that…

ナビアがほしかったから、朝から夜まで原神をして、プリモジェムを得（え）た。バナーの最初から最後まで、毎日働いた。

I'm currently building her and shes only lvl 5 (all talents 0) and she already does more damage than my lvl 80 beidou lol

Actually, 先日は、I finally got my yanfei to friendship lvl 10! Even though I'm mainly farming for Navia right now, I want Yanfei to be my first triple crown cutie. She was my first lvl 90 character and first friendship lvl 10 character. It's only fitting that shes my first triple crown cutie　(my acc is just turning into a yanfei fan acc lmao)

I also managed to get Chevreuse before Raidens banner ended so I'm gonna build her and now I have a good team! Yanfei as my DPS, Beidou as sub dps, and Fischl and Chevreuse as support. I also noticed that Chevreuse was healing me? That's awesome and super helpful.

But i digress

It's been a few weeks since classes have started so let me tell you what's been going on in my japanese classes!

We had to briefly introduce ourselves on the first day but she wanted us to use たり　たりする for talking about things we like and i forgot TT i wasnt the only one who messed up lmao

In my intermediate 2 class weve started by doing てすみませんでした、といいです、てあげる／くれる／もらう／いただく

In my practical reading and speaking class we started off by learning and talking about 体験教室 (たいけんきょうしつ)　trial lessons

We did a dialogue of sorts, for example:

あなた：すみません、～～～の教室に参加したいんですが。

受付の人：次はX月X日のX曜日です。

あなた：いつですか。

受付の人：朝／昼のＸ時からＸ時と昼／夜のＸ時からＸ時です。

あなた：いくらですか。

受付の人：お金はいりません。／ただです。

あなた：何を持ってきたらいいですか。

受付の人：大丈夫です。全部こちらで用意しますから。

あなた：すみません、～～～の教室に参加したいんですが。まだ、あいていますか。

So it was basically things like that where we practiced different situations and then switched to listening practice. Then we moved on to foods. Conversation like：

B：三日まで持ちます。

Now, in my intermediate 1 class, we've been doing all sorts of things.

First we started with apologies

Ex. im sorry for talking in class - 授業中に話してすみませんでした。（formal)

So its just the verb in て form plus すみませんでした or ごめん depending on formalness

Im sorry for sleeping in class - 授業中に寝てすみませんでした。

Im sorry for not bringing my textbook - 教科書を持ってこなくて済みませんでした。

Im sorry for the late reply - 返事が遅くなってごめん。

Sorry for not keeping the promise - 約束を守らなくてごめん。

Pretty self explanatory. We then added どうしたんですか to expand on it.

A：ルームメートを起こしてごめん。

B：どうしたの？。

A：歌を歌ったんだ。

B：そうですか。静かになってください

A：友達の誕生日を忘れてごめん。

B：どうしたの？

A：最近、とても忙しくなったの。

B：そうか。じゃあ、忙しくならないでください。

A：原稿用紙を出さなくてすみませんでした。

B：どうしたんですか。

A：犬は原稿用紙を食べたんです。

B：そうですか。だめですよね。

Simple. 次！

Next we started learning about といいですね which is basically used for saying you hope something will happen.

Like, i hope you find a good part time job ＝いいアルバイトが見つかるといいですね。

Or, I hope it doesnt rain ＝雨が降らないといいですね。

So it's just the short form. (the casual version is just といいね）

But if you want to talk about something you hope for yourself, you have to make it more modest by adding a んですが。 or んだけど。 (casual)

I hope i get a good grade ＝　いい成績をとるといいんだけど。

Note: all these といい examples means that you are hoping that something nice happens. This means that these patterns cannot be used in cases where you hope to do something nice, which is under your control. In that case, you use the potential form.

I hope i can go to japan this summer ＝　この夏、日本に行けるといいんですが。

It's actually really simple. Let's try some more sentences.

I hope yamashita sensei buys a car = 山下先生は車を買うといいですね。

I hope Tanaka and Yamada dont break up = 田中さんと山田さんと別れないといいですね。

I hope I can write tonight = 今晩、書けるといいんだけど。

I hope the plane doesn't crash into the building = 飛行機が建物にぶつけないといいですね。

I hope i dont eat humans = 私は人間を食べないといいんですが。

I hope someone tells me they love me on february 14th = 二月十四日に誰かが私に「愛している」と言ってくれるといいんだけど。

Because i was bad in class today, i hope the teacher doesnt kill me = 今日の授業中に私は悪かったので、先生が私を殺さないといいですね。

I hope i can fill my bathtub with baked beans and cinnamon toast crunch and take a bath in it = 浴槽（よくそう）にベイクドビーンズとシナモントーストクランチを入れて、お風呂に入れるといいんだけど。

The possibilities are endless!!

Next, are the new ways to make a request.

いただけませんか＝ the polie version. Used for bosses, professors, or strangers.

Would you lend me a hand? = 手伝っていただけませんか。

くれませんか＝ about the equivalent to てください most appropriate in the host-family context will you wait for a second? = ちょっと待ってくれませんか。

くれない＝ or the て form by itself is very casual.

Pick that thing up (and pass it to me), will you? = それ取ってくれない？ or ��れ取って。

It's pretty self explanatory.

Could you write this report? レポートを書いていただけませんか

Could you translate this book? = この本を訳してくれませんか

Could you drive me to the fish store? = 魚屋まで運転してくれない？

This concept just feels a little strange only because we don't really have an equivalent in english. At least, not that I know of.

And finally its the てあげる／くれる／もらう nonsense but i already covered it in a different post from today.

More of the ideal childhood speculation:

Lisa was achingly curious as a kid. Instead of 'that looks dangerous', she thought 'ooh what does it do though'. Let's just say that she's scared her parents more than once.

Al-Haitham was (and still is) a know-it-all, but as he's a kid, he would have a few hiccups where there was some outdated information and he'd have to hunt down the more recent versions.

Mika's parents had an entire wall dedicated to the little maps Mika would try to draw and survey as he tried to track their way through Mondstadt.

Yelan was an absolute menace as a child, but her parents wouldn't expect anything less as it 'runs in the family'. ("Yelan, get down from the wall, you have to take a bath now." "If you're going to carry a knife around, at least do it properly.")

Kazuha's favorite color was (and still is) maple red and he liked staring up at the maple trees on calmer days.

Dehya did not speak a single word to anyone besides her father until the age of five.

Yanfei's introduction to the law was when she overheard her parents talking about a 'contract' and she wanted to know what that was. Next thing you know, she's hauling around entire codices or her parents are when they're too heavy.

Fun times.

YESSS these are all great! i especially love the lisa one, since i hardly see anything about her childhood being discussed… but i really like the idea of a young lisa being a curious little freak (in a slightly terrifying but also endearing way)

also imagine being a random person in liyue and you overhear some little pink haired girl passionately rambling about tax codes and legal mandates with the same enthusiasm of a kid in his dinosaur phase talking about the jurassic period

Liyue characters headcanons: when they go to bed (and when they get up)

Keqing: tries really hard to go to bed around 9/ has a hard time falling asleep; busy worrying about everything she needs to do for the next day/ actually falls asleep around 10/ sleeps with stuffed animals/ doesn’t want people to know that she sleeps with stuffed animals (wakes up early by choice but is not a morning person/ needs tea to wake her up)

Ganyu: without the constraints of work she would have a wonderful sleep schedule/ rejects sleep for days (canonly)/ does not nap/ light sleeper/ sleeps hugging a pillow (morning person through and through/ makes a point to be awake in the morning)

Ningguang: very regulated schedule/ in bed by ten, awake by nine, only deviates for special occasions/ high thread count sheets and silk pajamas/ cannot sleep if there’s light which she solves with black out curtains and an eye mask/ prefers to get her proper 8 hrs/ extensive nightly routine (not a morning person, literally don’t talk to her, don’t look at her, just let her drink her tea in peace)

Beidou: really only needs 5 hours to function/ deep sleeper/ snores/ sprawls out in bed/ has a tendency to go to bed late-ish, yet always wakes up at a normal time (not a morning person per say but has the ability to be be hyper aware and lively right after she wakes up)

Yanfei: goes to bed at a normal time but during her law school days this was not the case/ has pulled several all-nighters/ is an evening enjoyer/ not above bringing paperwork to bed (wakes up at a normal time for work but even if she didn’t have work she’d get up at a normal time bc she hates feeling unproductive)

Hu Tao: goes to bed around midnight/ gets caught up with her own projects and looses track of time/ loves tiny pillows/ sleeps in shorts even in the winter; to be fair Liyue doesn’t get very cold/ bad bed head, hair just absolutely a mess every morning (wakes up at a normal time bc she has a business to run, but on weekends sleeps in until late-morning)

Zhongli: needs less sleep bc he’s not human but still requires some/ also he finds sleeping to be pleasant/ sleeps extremely still on his back/ has a distinct routine; goes to bed at 9pm, reads for an hr, wakes up at 3am/ has both a strict morning and nightly routine/ must have his tea in the morning, not for the caffeine he will just be sad and grumpy for the rest of the day (gets up early bc he doesn’t care for the feeling of oversleeping)

Xiao: rarely sleeps, like Ganyu and Zhongli he needs less sleep, despite this he still doesn’t get enough/ prefers to sleep sitting up/ his version of sleeping is more accurately described as passing out /Verr Goldet set aside a room for him which he pretends not to use/ is so use to fighting sleep that he has a hard time falling asleep/ light sleeper and sleeps poorly/ refuses to let others see him sleeping (is extra grumpy right after he’s woken up bc he embarrassed he fell asleep in the first place/ cannot stand to eat right after he’s woken up)

Xiangling: gets tired fairly early/ let’s herself go to sleep whenever she’s sleepy/ deep sleeper/ known to occasionally talk in her sleep/ has a stuffed bear that she sleeps with that she’s had since she was little (gets up with the sun/ morning revolves around what she’s making for breakfast)

Xinqiu: stays up very late…. reading ofc/ his parents think he’s asleep/ often suffers the consequences/ on the nights he plans to train in the morning he’s more diligent about going to bed (if left he will sleep till noon/ most mornings he has to up by 9 and he’s not happy about it/ the days that he secretly trains in the morning he wakes up ridiculously early)

Chongyun: no longer has an enforced bedtime but he acts like he does/ is very stubborn about following it/ even if someone (Xingqiu) to get him to stay up he would end falling asleep anyway/ sleeps with the window open in and effort to remain cold/ sleeps in thin, loose, pj’s for the same reason (a morning person/ at his most relaxed in the morning)

Shenhe: has a set schedule for herself/ is willing to break it but only for reasons she can justify/ can only sleep on her back/ light sleeper/ goes to bed when the sun sets, wakes up before it comes up (enjoyed the stillness of mornings)

Yelan: has a worse schedule then she’d like to admit/ often works at night/ if she’s not out then she’s handling paperwork/ tends to only sleep several hours at a time/ has blackout currents so that she can sleep during the day if she has to/ has fallen asleep in her clothes (needs caffeine in some form in the morning/ doesn’t like the sunrise bc it means she never went to bed)

Yun Jin: routine girlie/ very long skin care routine/ loves to lay in bed and read/ sometimes she composes in the evening/ goes to bed around 10ish (doesn’t like waking up/ lays in bed for about an hr before she’s ready to face the day/ motivates herself to get up with tea)

Xin Yan: has gigs at night/ gets home fairly late, eats and goes straight to bed/ on nights without gigs she spends the time writing songs/ usually goes to bed around 11 those nights (usually allows herself to sleep in until mid-morning)

Yao Yao: has a bedtime/ does not fight the bedtime/ likes bedtime bc she gets to hear stories (wakes up early-ish/ is pretty cheerful in the morning)

Qiqi: does not sleep… it creeped Baizhu out at first (Baizhu suspects that mornings are her favorite time of day bc she’ll sit very quietly and watch outside the window)

Baizhu: insists on getting his beauty sleep/ astutely aware of the connection between regular sleep and longer life span/ sleeps in his braid/ sleeps in silk pajamas/ changsheng sleeps in a smaller bed in his room/ has a hard time falling asleep (not a morning person/ needs his coffee and his space)

+ Childe: doesn’t have a particular schedule but also doesn’t stay up ridiculously late/ falls asleep quickly/ use to sleeping whenever he could so he has the ability to sleep anywhere/ starfishes in the middle of the bed/ drools occasionally/ can sleep in but generally chooses not to (surprisingly a morning person/ wakes up fairly early due to his years in the military/ doesn’t linger in his room very long/ gets ready very quickly)

Genshin College AU: Part 4

Author's Note: This is my depiction on what I think Genshin characters would be like in present day college.

🔥 Xiangling:

Xangling is one of the most talented cooks in the whole school. With only being a sophomore, the uprising chef already has a high reputation in the food industry. She’s a great influence within the Home Ec room, giving many tips on how to give recipes that Boom shaka-laka feeling.

She is very free-spirited with her time, usually finding inspiration within her friend group. Hu Tao’s quirky personality, along with Xingqiu’s mischievous nature, gives Xangling enough motivation to play around with her creativity. Surprisingly, the level headed Chongyun likes her cooking! Though, he needs a slightly different version of her spontaneous recipes due to his low heat-resistant pallet…

However, as great of a chef as the sophomore is, she sometimes runs into duds. One time, she was sponsoring a new sample that she was testing, and everyone in the cafeteria was more than excited to call dibs in trying the famous Xangling’s cooking. However, a bit too much Jueyan Chili was used in the small batch, and everyone had to be sent home because of stomach issues…

Xangling is great to go to when you need some flavor in your life! She’ll be more than happy to whip you up something, just making sure to tell her your preferences… who knows what she’ll put in there if not.

👻 Hu Tao:

Hu Tao is an interesting person to meet… While majoring in business, she also works closely within an occult club that may or not be run by her as well. The sophomore is an imaginative person, finding new stories to tell her fellow students. Itto has befallen her prankish ways too many times already, and it always ends with him screaming down the hall.

Venti likes to help with her goulish pranks when he can, usually coming up with a “historical” tale to go along with it. They’re a dangerous duo when this happens, and many of the students and teachers become anxious when they're seen together. As sneaky as Hu Tao is, she somehow managed to become friends with Teyvat college’s law major, Yanfei. The studious student finds Hu Tao’s pranks to be quite funny, as long as she’s not on the other end of them.

Hu Tao does very well in her classes, and many of the professor’s encourage practice outside of class. However, Hu Tao has a funny way of marketing her future business to the student body. There’s been many instances of her standing in a far corner of a populated area, rambling on how coffins are needed sooner or later. She tends to scare away a lot of the people.

Hu Tao may be an odd friend to have, but she’s very entertaining to watch. She’ll even let you in on her secret plans if you're lucky enough.
