Qingque:I tend to try to take things easy but after numerous failures here it’s only natural to form plans. I’m not betting on you doing well, I’m wagering your ability to protect us long enough for us to gather blessing I need plus curios.

Sparkle:If we get resonance. Though your fellow gambler over here has gotten much more reliable since our last attempt.

Silver Wolf:And don’t eat too many points. *leaves*

Aventurine:All this talent and you needed my help?
Ruan Mei:Have you ever felt the wind shear of a Swarm Disaster? Some people say it’s like a personal hurricane on your body.
Qingque:I’m “some people”

Qingque:I’m gonna be honest guys, I don’t know if I’m trembling because I’m nervous, or because this is about to be pretty spectacular. Aventurine, if you would? *holds out tiles*
Aventurine:Heh, you really want all the luck possible huh? Alright then, strut yourself.
He leans over to his left and gently blows on the pieces.
“Let’s play a game!” Qingque tosses them into the air and twirls as metamorphosis begins; catching the pieces as they fell. Without stopping, she throws out a four of kind then immediately flicks her wrist like a slite of hand trick to reveal another set of tiles to throw.
The experienced gambler watches the girl pass the tiles between her hands twice before throwing another eight, killing a bug and keeping the pace by tossing a new set once before suddenly slamming down a tile that shakes everything and hands her another four of a kind she quickly turned into eight. It’s still her turn. Gambling is partly a numbers game, and Qingque has clearly crunched them.
Aventurine:(Oh shit…)
Sparkle:Wooooo! Don’t stop the fireworks!
Three more tosses before another hit! No worries! Qingque happily took a single tile and beamed it another insect before slamming down another that caused it to explode. She tossed her set to a corner bug as she took another break turn to eat up all four points before hearing Sparkle laughing as she topped off the difference.
Qingque: Can’t stop won’t stop!
Another eight tiles exploded and knocked the main bug down briefly. Aventurine was thinking he didn’t need to be here, until it got back up and tore through the shield like paper. Without hesitation he let his wealth pour down like rain and redeployed a shield. He confidently scoffed, but Ruan Mei could see his hand twitch in his pocket.
Ruan Mei:Fear is a healthy way of understanding your current situation as well providing alertness. Are you alert?
Aventurine: Vividly. *stacks shield*
Ruan Mei:Welcome to the Swarm Disaster.
Qingque:You get a front row seat to VICTORY!

Scara:That’s because you’re rushing it! Either wake up early to give yourself the time or treat this like target practice and keep a steady hand for as long as it takes.

Don’t have a lot of time for an actual prompt but the scene would be set set in Penacony at a dancing lounge the Blazer duo snuck into for fun cause Firefly wanted to see.
It’s all about the prestine vibe, the aesthetic. High class life never looked so good and fun. Caelus even manages to put his new mixology skills to use as he playfully hams up the bartender act towards the two women who happily play along. Eventually firefly stares at the dozens of dancers, thinking about how she never had the experience to dance so freely.
Stelle catches on and makes the girl bashful by offering a dance and Caelus hypes up the idea. Things get a little cheeky though when Stelle playfully comments how Caelus would trip over his own feet in comparison to her. To which he says “I’m only not joining because it’s rude for a wingman to steal the show, and that he was giving Stelle some needed help.”
The two banter back in forth a bit before Firefly unexpectedly chimes in, confessing that she actually really wanted to dance with both of them. Without another word, the two look at each other briefly before smiling. Stelle takes Caelus’s hand as he hops over the countertop to take Firefly’s right while Stelle grabs the left. The three make their way to the open dance floor and share an actual happy and calm moment on this so called “vacation.”

So I’m rewatching the Arlecchino animation and they did something that reminded of a topic I wanted to talk about. I would love for the anime to actually go through how some characters decide to manifest their powers cause from a gameplay perspective it’s tied to their weapon; but any vision holder could more or less do the same tricks as another
Amber in the WEBTOON just uses her hand sometimes or ignites rocks. She even lit Jeans sword on fire which all seems pretty simple, but then in game text talks about how Barron Bunny explodes because she’s using targeted pyrokinesis to ignite the powder inside. How did that thought occur?
At one point did Diluc think “I can throw out a phoenix.” And at any point he can grab a bow if he wanted and do flame arrows. So many moves are teachable to varying degrees!
They can make swords and shields pretty effortlessly. I would love episodes of the anime where the characters just practice doing things because they saw someone else do it. You can’t tell me Bennett didn’t see Jean make a healing circle and think “Hold on…that’s a thing? Can I do that?” If I was Collei the first thing I’m learning is a dendro shield. It’s all fun and games until Sara just decides to lightning punch you in your throat because that’s an option.

Neuvillette closes the door and Furina immediately takes a blanket off her bed and wraps herself in a tight cocoon as she curls up in utter dread and embarrassment.
Aether:So…what are you going to say when the scene happens on stage and he sees the thug pinned to the wall and not the floor?
Furina:There were rewrites! How are you so calm about this!?
Aether:Furina I say this with love. There are worse ways to be interrupted.

Caelus:Bad run is all. She’s fine but a little annoyed. We’re basically hitting a wall so anything would help.
Fu Xuan:….Qingque, whenever you’re done sulking, try to embody more of that casual attitude of yours. For once it wouldn’t kill you to toss a couple tiles before triggering resonance.
Qingque:…Ah. Heh, whoops.
Caelus:Wait, I don’t understand.
Fu Xuan: You’ll see. Also, don’t stress your injuries and be back before your “lunch break” ends. *hangs up*
Qingque:Hehe, she was in a good mood today. I guess her headache isn’t bad.
Caelus:(Or she doesn’t like seeing you upset.)

Sparkle:What the heck!?
Qingque:I can’t believe I didn’t know that was possible!
Silver Wolf: That’s a neat trick. It’s like when Blade touches his sword. Since it’s an action, anything after sticks an additional turn; or in this case moves your next value ahead since you’ve technically started this one. Guess I should’ve told you that.
Lynx:So in other words…propagation makes you like Seele.
Qingque: I’ll call it Faux Resurgence!
Seele: *watching* Flattery gets you nowhere with me, but just this once I approve!

No she has Firefly now; as well as a fun thing with Caelus. I want say I planned this scenario well but in truth the people I thought about shipping her with either kept leaving, dying, or had someone else 😂
Also I wouldn’t say Caelus is drowning lol. Aside from this new development it’s only been March’s throuple shenanigans and Silver Wolf. One of those is just mainly March living her best life between a dragon and a cosmic raccoon lol.

Neat accidental AU things
So I was straightening out and revising some of my content and I kept noticing little things I didn’t intend but are cool to think about.
Weiss and Nora are constantly hanging out and are consistently the envy of every mother at a PTA meeting in the TSF AU
Jaune and Weiss know how to drive a Yacht
Any child of Yang has the biggest branching family tree aside from the Arcs
TSF Yang has put down the most villains.
In Lasting Embers, Qrow had a kid years before the whole of team RWBY worked out their drama. Potentially even before Ruby got married.
Ruby only has Dustin’s eyes whenever she thinks of Cinder.
Premonition is the only AU where the friends eventually graduated.
TSF as a casualty rate of exactly one hero character and that’s Pyrrha
Ruby takes Whitley grimm hunting so he can have cool summons.
Carmine’s dual hair color looks like a ripening strawberry. Guess you can call her a strawberry blonde
Adam has been at Yang’s home more than she has and that’s a crazy thing to think about.
L.E AU would all things considered have the strongest team RWBY, but also has the most casualties.
Aside from Rosebud, Ruby and Weiss are always the last to get married
Neo is Lasting Embers has somehow made it into both main friend groups by not just being talented at her job, but also having an “interesting” relationship with a member. Adam for the bad guys, and Weiss for the good guys.
This one isn’t an accident, but I still think it’s pretty cool that Veronica didn’t utter one lie throughout any story.
Blake has the most consistent win rate in all my AU despite also being the weakest in all of them as well. Meanwhile Yang’s track record is the riskiest.
TSF Weiss and Ruby share a wedding anniversary.
Penny and Oscar have been married the longest out of all my couples in any story except Lancaster in Rosebud.

I don’t know if this is a hot take or not but I personally feel like I’d be more interested in Arlecchino’s story and character if we met her as a new number 4 harbinger instead of years after the trauma. At the very least I’d be more interested in the sympathetic side Hoyo keeps trying to show.
I don’t know, she just seems cooler and more interesting in the flashback more so than anything we’ve gotten present wise which is “hot scary woman that doesn’t like child abuse that apparently isn’t all that bad.” Honestly I’d probably be more interested if they actually double down on her being scary and evil.
