Hi, hello, I've risen from the grave again

I had a couple thoughts about him after scrolling through his tag for like an hour so...

you mentioned that he was married to his ex-wife out of college so then it's relevant to assume he didn't get a chance to explore the dating pool otherwise. So I'm curious to his reaction to/thoughts having a partner that dotes on/is super affectionate to him

Theodore was married to his ex-wife straight out of high school as a result of her getting pregnant with their twins and agreeing to a deal with his folks where refusing would have led to him being cut off from the family and thus lose access to his college fund..

I'd say the more affectionate/caring his partner is, the more obsessed is he with them. Theodore considers himself a stable man, but between the loveless marriage with his ex-wife and neglect from his parents, and being an affectionate person himself in these lackluster environments - Theodore is more broken that he lets show and deep down in the pits of his shattered heart longs for someone to enjoy the smaller things in life with.

Theodore doesn't really know what to do in a proper relationship. He has so much love for his darling, but is afraid if he gives too much at one time they'll grow annoyed of his gestures like his wife did he when tried to make their marriage work. He starts off with casual compliments to let them know some extent of his feelings. If his partner is the one to dote on him, he wouldn't have a clue on what to do and his actions show. Fumbles his words, gets nervous at the very mention of them. He can't believe someone so... so... wonderful? Easy to be around? Perfect? There's so many words to describe his love in his mind, but what I'm getting at is he can't believe someone like them would fawn over him of all people.

Theodore takes their affectionate and gives it back tenfold. Surprises them with dates/gifts, calls them whenever there's time in his schedule, worships the ground they walk on- Daydreams about the moment he gets to see their face again and even keeps a tape recot on hand in hopes of catching some of their sweet words to get him through the day. He's a tired man, but the love of his boys and his darling is all he needs in the world to keep on going. Damn near ready to propose by their sixth month anniversary, but has enough restraint to let things develop a bit further before taking that dive.

Hydnellum peckii, or "Devil's Tooth": called a bleeding tooth because it's a "tooth" fungus (when cut you fond tiny handing spines) that releases an ooze, some sort of sap, that looks like blood.

Oh, this one is easy. Always fold your laundry as you pull it out of the dryer. It will take the same amount of time as folding it later anyways. And this way, when the clothes are still warm, you won't have to worry about the inevitable wrinkles from putting it off too long

I'm 11. I'm chronically on DeviantArt and incredibly obsessed with transformers animated. Someone made a Warrior cats au and it blew my little mind. I didn't know people could do that??? I got crazy into crossovers after that, I'm pretty sure my first fic was a pokemon/transformers au. I can't be 100% sure, I purged most of the fics off my DA in early high school and my parents old computer is *super* toast, so most of my og fics are lost to time

7. Like a solid 7. No. No that's a lie. Like a 6. It's fine. I enjoy it but trying to get into the mood to edit is a lot harder than getting into the mood to write. Once I hit a stride it fucking rocks tho

I read The Snack Exchange Market is Crashing by JeromeSankara recently and it made me cry in real life. Very good, I really liked it. Banger, very Leon Kennedy heavy, absolutely wonderful.

Speaking of fics that made me cry like a little bitch, Hold on Till May by acethedisgrace ruined my whole day! In a good way, I'm still haunted by this fic. It's so sad! It's so heartbreaking and so good and everything was so close to working out.... this ones for the tragedy enjoyers. Very good, I'm not usually a fan of major character death but this was so fucking good.

If you like monster au's like I do, Simulation Swarm by Alviva (AlvivaChaser) and Mouth of the Devil by SealedSalt are both absolutely wonderful. I personally adore fics where losing your humanity becomes a *physical* problem as well as a mental one, fucking!!! It's fun, I adore it, these are both great <33

If you like the show supernatural and enjoy weird stuff with time!!!! GO READ there's no cell service in the afterlife by screamsintothesun!!! It's so fucking good!!!!!

THIRD LOCATION. You have to get a third location. This was actually given to me as mental health advice but it works for me. The thinking is everyone should have *at least* three locations in their lives; While I was in college it was my apartment, the library, work and a friends place. When I moved after that, I struggled between my apartment and just having work (I didn't know anyone in the area at the time). My "third location" is a coffee shop I go to usually every Monday to write. I've been meaning to check out the library but I have to drive and the last time I visited one in this city I wasn't impressed.

Copy/pasted bits of the fic followed by comments or key smashes!! That shits rocks. GOD. Or when somebody threatens you because you made them emotional somehow?? Hell yeah. Hell yeah!! *Any* comments really though, they're all great. I eat any attention up

🔪 ⇢ what's the weirdest topic you researched for a writing project?

Hmmmm. Often times, the weird things I research aren't for writing at all but just for my own curiosity, my writing needs are pretty basic unfortunately. Maaaaybe nuances on kinks and idioms specific to a culture????? Ancient hair care treatments???? That's really about it, when it comes to writing subjects

🦷 ⇢ share some personal wisdom or a life hack you swear on

I am unfortunately Master of Struggling so I don't think I have any good advice or life hacks. Probably best thing is, as someone with memory issues and short attention span thanks to my ADD, write things down as soon as you think of them. If you go "Oh I'm sure I'll remember this later", just know that that is the devil talking. If you can't write it down, make a song about it. Whatever you can do to keep it fresh in your mind.

If we're talking about writing life hacks, I'd say this: if there's an idea you want to write but don't have the energy to write out complex paragraphs or not sure how to start it, I would start with bullet points. There's a lot to think about when writing such as dialogue and emotions and the hook, but if you can't remember all of what you wanted to discuss to begin with, then it doesn't really matter. A bullet list of your main ideas/thoughts will help you so much when you want to tackle the project in full.

🏜️ ⇢ what's your favourite type of comment to receive on your work?

I love comments about the emotions people feel when they read my stuff, particularly if it's relating to an emotion that I was trying to portray in the story 🥺 like people saying they can feel the heartache, or the love between characters, etc.

Also, I know it's a heavily debated topic and is up to each individual how they feel about it, but I personally really like when someone feels I portrayed a character accurate to their source. Like I understand that what I write will always be OOC by technicality, cause I'm not the creator of said character. But I want my reader to be able to imagine this scenario happening in canon, I want them to be able to get immersed in the story better rather than feel like they're reading about someone else.
