You smiled “I feel the same way Toru.” You snuggle in closer to him, feeling his warmth and the rise and fall of his chest as he breathed. Your thoughts wandering to the love you felt for him, how he’d become everything to you…and more. The only thing that truly mattered to you.
“Not that the world is going to end. I’m too young and pretty to die so soon.” he says, and you didn’t have to look at him to know the cheeky smile he’d have planted across his face. He was right though, he was pretty. And right now you were safe in each other's arms, and you knew that nothing could ever change that. As long as you and Gojo were together you could face anything. Even the end of the world.
“You are very pretty Toru.” you giggle, as he places his warm hands under your shirt, drawing circles on your back. If the world did end, you’d be okay if your last moments were anything like this.
“Not as pretty as you princess. Well maybe almost.” You blush at his words, feeling a rush of warmth spread through your body. His deep laugh sends shivers down your spine, making your heart skip a beat.
"Stop it," you protest, trying not to smile but of course not succeeding.
He chuckles, watching you with a twinkle in his eyes. "What? It's true," he says, grinning. "You're the prettiest girl I've ever met."
You roll your eyes playfully, but you can't help but feel a burst of happiness flood your body.
"I think you're just saying that to flatter me," you say, trying to hide your smile. “Or your trying to get sex.”
He shakes his head. "Nope, I mean it," he replies, “I don't think I've ever met anyone as kind, smart, and beautiful as you.” he pauses, “but if I wanted to get you naked, is this working?” he adds.
You rolls your eyes and playfully slap his arm. “It might be working, just a little bit.” you giggle. At this he flips you over so your underneath him, his large body hovering over you. His eyes gazing into yours.

what up, I'm camille, I'm 33, and I never learned how not to include second chance romance in every wip
lately, I've been all about fantasy and I blame that fully on falling in love with dnd last year. I've dabbled plenty in urban fantasy (when branching out from contemporary romance) but dnd especially has given me an appreciation of more subgenres, plus lots of inspiration
current wip: the madness and the blade
it's more goofy silly than the title implies because the title came first and shit happens!! I wrote my 50k for nano, and in the weeks since, I've just been in sandbox mode, getting to know the characters and the setting better. when I'm ready to shift back into the main story, I'll do an intro to wip series
briefly, I'll say it's fantasy adventure romance about a thief Retrieval Specialist roped into a scheme to recover a magical artifact, and the ragtag group of weirdos assembled to assist, including not one, not two, but THREE former flames plus an estranged spouse (fake relationship/real married)
writing is my hobby, not my job! it's fun and I've deliberately carved out space for it in my life, but I'm not chasing a finish line with anything I'm working on. it's all just vibes, baby ✌🏽

Since the guys are already at school I’m wondering how this would’ve fit into the first movie bc it definitely seems like something to come in the series/sequel
Second edit: I’ve seen another video with the creators explaining that the first draft of the movie had the turtles in school by the second half with Baxter Stockman as a teacher which makes this make more sense
I head canoned a while ago Leo 2012 would be a Captain America/Marvel fan and this video proves it for all the Leo’s basically 😏 and that’s using the term hc generously considering Leo’s are literally the Captain America’s of TMNT lmao
