Stelle frowned and let out a small sigh through her nose. "But," she turned to look up at her friend with an uncharacteristically bright smile on her face. "I'm glad you're still you. March is right, even though you look different, you're still Dan Heng- Archivist of the Astral Express and our best friend."

He calmly watches her with the fabric, the way she traces the lotus, and makes a mental note on her interests. Perhaps he can find more information on them for her in the archives, or purchase some before they leave the Luofu. The sudden apology is a surprise, but a welcome one. It's quite a relief to finally have an explanation. Stelle can often be rather quiet, something he relates to, but in that particular moment her silence had only served to reinforce his concern that things would be different. Yes, she too had been through quite an ordeal so he had heard, and it was perhaps unfair to expect her usual self at the time, but that is the benefit of hindsight. He had been in no position to consider in the moment, mind having been pulled in so many uncomfortable directions at once. Her words are a comfort. That point of view is something he has come to appreciate of the current Nameless of the Astral Express; they look at him and see him. Even now. He detests this form as a reminder of the baggage forced upon him. But even when the truths he hid are shining bright for all to see the Astral Express crew, his friends, still see him. That's what really matters.

A fond chuckle at Stelle's beaming grin, a rarity from her. ❝And you are still Stelle, the compassionate and optimistic enigma I proudly call a friend. People can change, they may hide, but my intentions were never to cause you grief. I hope you can accept my apology as well.❞ A brief pause before adding somewhat teasingly, ❝After all I will need your assistance in the archives when we return to the Express. First-hand accounts are always prefered.❞

Just thinking about how Jean Moreau is one of the best backliners in Class I exy but I don’t think anyone has even seen his peek potential yet

Just thinking about how Neil is able to match Riko at every turn with his speed at the Final Raven v Foxes match and he catches Riko by surprise since Riko is not expecting Neil in top form as when Neil was at the nest he only got on the court after being beat and his physical condition only got worse as the weeks progressed.

So just thinking that about how Jean has never played an Exy game not in pain. He is one of the best even while always playing in pain somewhere on his body. So I can’t wait to see Jean realize what he can do when he finally gets to play when he’s not in pain.

Danny has heard about Superman's dislike for his clone,

Danny grows angry with Superman,

More and more with each story he heard from the ghosts around him, Danny knew what it was like to be cloned to feel that violation of his person, but he could never hate Ellie,

His clone

His cousin

His sister

His daughter

His family

She was precious to him and her being a clone would never lower the amount of love he held towards her.

So to see this hero, this adult, not give two shits about Conner?

Oh that burned

So he decided to do something about it, If Superman didn't want Conner then he would take him, show him the love and care that should have been his from the very beginning from what should have been his own family.

Danny could teach him more about Krypton than Superman could ever wish to know, show him his birthright.

I can't deny that there's a part of me that's absolutely delighted that each time Bruce unjustly went after Jason, the Batkids responded in kind.

thinking about gorgug thistlespring, an artificer-barbarian who figured out who he is, what he wanted, what he’s good at, who knows how to channel his anger into protecting and creating, to save the world and his friends, only to be told that he couldn’t do that, he couldn’t do what he wanted, his anger was for destruction, not for creating, not for putting his life on the line for his friends, that all the things his parents had taught him, all the things that he had learned while saving the world were wrong.

Nicky thinks the twins don’t love him, but when Eric visits during Christmas, they lock him outside until Nicky stops crying because they fought.

Nicky thinks the twins don’t love him, but when it comes time for Nicky’s wedding, they look at him like he’s stupid because, of course, they are the ones who will walk him down the aisle. Once they are at the end, Aaron shoves Andrew out of the way so he can stand in the best man's spot. Andrew is just about to slam Aaron into the ground before Wymack loudly clears his throat from his spot in the front row (where the parents would usually sit), and they both straighten up. Andrew still kicks Aaron in the shin, and Nicky turns purple, trying not to laugh.

Nicky worries the twins might forget about him, but every week, they hold a group video chat to catch up, and once, when Nicky’s just had an awful day and can’t seem to keep it together, they don’t immediately hang up because he’s started crying.

Nicky worries the twins don’t care about him, but when he and Eric get in a minor car accident that lands Nicky in the hospital for a few days, they fly to him and camp out in his room until he’s cleared to go home.

Nicky worries the twins don’t love him, but Andrew sends him pictures of Neil and the cats, and Aaron sends him photos of the twins and Katelyn.

Nicky doesn’t think the twins love him, but he gets to stand next to Andrew at Aaron’s back when he gets married, and he is put in charge of organizing the not party for Andrew and Neil’s not wedding.

Nicky knows that the twins love him when they stop acting like they hate him and start treating him like they love him.
