I’m proud of you
I’m proud of you for waking up today.
I’m proud of you for breathing today.
I’m proud of you for moving today.
I’m proud of you because look how far you’ve come? Take a moment to take that in. You’ve come so far and over came so so much, and I’m so proud of you and I’m sure the people close to you are too.

Does anyone realize that the "everyone is valid" thing has actual diagnostic implications?
Yes, every case of DID will have differences from another. But all DID cases must meet diagnostic criteria in order to actually be DID. You can't say "everyone is valid" and "DID can look like anything" because really, it can't. At the end of the day, there are still diagnostic criteria that must be met. If anything goes and anything is valid and anything can be DID, then DID is nothing and we might as well not even classify it as a disorder at all.
Same thing as people who say that "everyone has a little bit of DID" or "everyone has parts". Yes, you act differently at work than you do at home. This does not mean that you have dissociated parts of a fragmented self, and if it did, then DID would be a redundant diagnosis and there would be no need to have it in the ICD or DSM if "everyone" had it.

Hello, we are the vessel.
We are a traumagenic polyfragmented system with AuDHD, BPD, NPD, CPTSD, OCD, TS, SZD, and more.
We are firmly anti non traumagenic + their supporters, and we will not be debating it. Anyone attempting to do so will be blocked immediately. We are looking for more traumagenic sys friends. If you're interested in learning more about us, keep reading, follow us, and/or send a question(s) to our inbox.
Collectively: If you are speaking about us as a whole or us as the body, call us the vessel. You may use he/him or they/them (in a plural way) to talk about us collectively. If you are speaking about individual alters, use their names and pronouns. We will most likely sign off with emojis and or names in our posts.
Frequent Fronters: Jack (host), 🔒, and 🎀
DNI: endos/tulpas, syscourse, transmeds, fake claimers, terfs, radqueer, conservative, racist, sexist, homo/transphobic, cringe culture, anti self dxing, anti neopronouns

please read, there is too much misinformation
What is polyfragmentation?
Polyfragmentation in dissociative disorders is generally considered as having 100+ alters, however this is only a misconception and watered down version of the true concept of polyfragmentation. Polyfragmentation is all about the structure of a system. Generally, polyfragmented systems will have a large number of fragments that typically outweighs the number of fully developed identities (this is where the 100+ alters idea cones from), a complex inner world structure that typically includes layers and layering, complex splitting patterns, and one, if not many subsystems. Polyfragmented systems typically went through inescapable abuse and trauma that caused them to be unable to form coping mechanisms other than dissociation, which results in the high number of fragments.
How do I know if my system is polyfragmented?
If your system contains a high number of fragments, splits frequently and in a complex manner (i.e. splitting several alters at a time, splitting alters to take care of a short period of time consistently, etc.), have a generally complex system structure (i.e. one with layers/layering and subsystems), and/or went through intense trauma that caused your system to mainly dissociate as a coping mechanism, your system may be polyfragmented. Of course, it is best to consult a professional and discuss your dissociative disorder with them rather than trying to figure it out on your own, but these are simply warning signs that your system may be polyfragmented and you can bring these up with a health professional if you or your system notice them.
