10 ways to lose weight even if you’re lazy.
Losing weight takes work. But even if you’re lazy or just don’t have the time or motivation to embark on a journey of intense dieting and exercise.

I haven’t worn this dress since I was 16. swipe for a lil throwback of baby phoebe & my day one 🤘🏼
honestly, a very emotional moment. these transformation pictures bring all the shock, but this one in particular hits hard and makes me realize how negatively I viewed my body when I was younger. I was healthy, but viewed myself as if I was extremely obese. body dysmorphia, love her 🥲 compared to now - being decently close to the same weight I was when I was 16 but also seeing firsthand what roughly 130lbs of excess weight looks and feels like on my body, completely humbles me and makes me so thankful for where I’m at and makes me view myself so differently.
16 year old me would be so proud of all we’ve overcome & accomplished over the years. we’re doing well girl 🤍

✨3 weeks post-op Tummy Tuck & Breast Reconstruction✨ The last 3 weeks have not been fun. I know everybody experiences pain differently.. but y’all.. this surgery is no joke😂 Don’t get me wrong - I’m so happy I did it & have absolutely ZERO regrets.. but that shit hurts😂 Here’s a couple updates : •The last drain finally came out on Monday since it was starting to get infected. Plus the line was breaking from stripping all the time & I had trimmed it as much as I could. So it was time. Y’all weren’t lying when you said you make a complete 180 when the last drain comes out!! I feel soooo much better than I did just a couple days ago!! •My hips are still swollen.. hell my whole body still feels swollen but the 2nd picture shows how much it has gone down over 3 weeks! My back in particular is finally starting to return to its normal shape. Bruising is also getting better slowly. •I tried a compression binder that I bought before surgery & it felt like it was ripping my muscles apart so I actually decided to get some spanx high compression garments. These are feeling much better & actually more supportive! This is what my surgeon recommended from the start but I thought a binder would be better.. clearly he knows best😂 •Went back to work today & did better than I expected. Getting up & down is still sore but I can feel it getting better every day. •Slept in a bed over the weekend with about a hundred pillows & I just was not comfortable. Never thought I would be excited to get back home to my recliner 😂 •Biggest focus right now is my fluids & trying not to overdo it. I’ve always had an issue with getting enough fluids since VSG, but have got to start making it a bigger priority. That & not trying to be superwomen when I feel slightly normal 🙃 Anyways.. thank y’all for the continuous love & support! Late night ramblings...I cut off my hair and feel so much lighter. It's as though I have taken off my disguise. My appearance has changed so radically in the last decade I am not sure what I look like.
I was never a person to do things small. No, I had to go big or go home as the saying goes. I wish there was a real home to go to. Hindsight is 20/20 as the saying goes.
I have been on this journey of self discovery and gratitude for almost a decade. I'm amazed at how much my life has changed because my perspective has changed.
I was always the person who was waiting for the other shoe to drop. Now I believe that I can and will make the experience what I need to be.
I give of myself freely to those who I believe truly are grateful and if I was in their shoes I know they would help me.
I am learning to be happy. It is very hard when you are very used to being sad all the time. Being happy and okay, good I guess is the way some lucky people always live. I am happy to join them. I will just be. It is warm and comfy here. I like it.

What does that mean?
Basically, I am doing needed daily work so that I will never again weigh what I did prior to gastric bypass surgery.
The battle is not over when I reached my goal weight...
Absolutely not......
Some might say, that was when the real battle began.
I would argue that if we do the daily work, we don't need to battle our weight anymore.
Now I know it will be different for everyone.
However, if you do what is needed every day.....
It's the little things done consistently that matter.
Then gaining weight will never be an issue again.
Figuring out what the little things are......
What not to do......
What to do......
That has taken most of my effort for the past couple of years.
I have learned a ton about myself.
