Ok so weather magick is possible, so can we get a bunch of witches together, or have as many witches as possible preform some spells together to slow down global warming?
Not cast spells with the intention of “ending climate change” I mean like, spells for colder weather, cursing the top 1% every time they make a decision that hurts the environment, just being environmentally friendly, manifesting more environmental activists and people actively trying to reduce their carbon footprint, stuff like that.
It’s just a thought but if we can get enough people, it’d be possible right?

⚡️💧a Lightning strike brings Laughter💧⚡️
(A storm spell to be entertained and happy. Best preformed near or in the light of sight of a storm)
-storm water -candle -really any crystal that’s blue/associated with weather, but I used my favorite piece of afganite
“Stormy skies, crackling thunder,
Over my head, screaming while I slumber,
The rain that falls upon my home,
Might it bring me joy, and bring me cheer,
Happy while I stay here,
With the storm rolling over head,
Such is my I ask, such is my plea,
Thus my will so mote it be!”

Summoning weather for a specific day
I don’t normally post about witchcraft, but I figured I’d share a very simple method of weather magic.
Say you’re going on a family vacation next week. You want to make sure it will be nice and sunny, maybe with a nice breeze. Or alternatively, maybe it’s nearing whichever winter holiday(s) you may celebrate, and you desperately wish for it to snow. You don’t want to summon snow randomly, you want it to snow next week, and maybe you just don’t have the time to perform the spell closer to that day (or simply don’t want to. that’s fair). What’s a witch to do?
Pick something to represent the day. This is honestly the hardest part. What are you doing that day? Maybe you’re going hiking, so you could use a shoe or a few leaves (since you’re going to be in nature). Maybe you’re traveling, and might use a small wheel or compass. Once you’ve selected an object, hold it while visualizing the day you want it to represent.
If you want:
sun - leave the object in the sun for as long as possible, preferably up until and during the day of.
clouds - wave the object through incense smoke or the vapor from an essential oil diffuser.
wind - blow on the object. if you want winds from a certain direction, blow on it from that direction. for softer winds, blow softly. for strong winds, take a hairdryer to it.
rain - sprinkle water over the object. or hold it under a faucet if you want particularly strong rains. maybe leave it in a bowl of water for a while.
warmer temperatures - hold the object between your palms until it has warmed significantly from your body heat. or hold it over candle flame.
cooler temperatures - stick the object in a fridge or freezer. leave it there for as long as possible, preferably up until and during the day of.
snow (or otherwise extremely cold temperatures) - stick the object in a freezer in a glass of water.
I’m sure you get the picture, and can come up with other ideas for other types of weather.
These can of course be combined. One can softly blow on an object before leaving it in the sun in order to bring a soft breeze on a sunny day.
Happy witching :]

Hey witches! Are you drawn to the rhythm of the waves, the salty scent of the sea, and the boundless expanse of the ocean stretching to the horizon? If so, you might be attuned to the magic of Sea Magic, a mystical practice that connects with the elemental energies of water and the mysteries of the deep. Here are a few ways to embrace the magic of Sea Magic:
🌊 Connect with the Tide: Sea witches typically have a strong connection to the ocean, drawing inspiration, energy, and spiritual guidance from its vastness and power. Tune into the ebb and flow of the tides, allowing their rhythmic movement to guide your magical workings and rituals. Work with the energy of high tide for abundance and manifestation, and low tide for release and letting go.
🚰 Water Magic: Water is a central element in sea witchery, and practitioners often work with its properties for cleansing, healing, intuition, and emotional balance.
🌙 Moon Magic: Like many other forms of witchcraft, sea witchery often incorporates lunar cycles and phases, harnessing the energy of the moon for rituals and spellcasting.
🪸 Herbalism: Sea witches may work with herbs and plants associated with coastal regions or those that thrive in saline environments for magical purposes.
🐬 Work with Sea Creatures: Connect with the spirits of the sea and the creatures that dwell beneath the waves, such as dolphins, whales, and mermaids, honoring their wisdom and guidance in your magical practice.
🐚 Collect Seashells and Sea Treasures: Sea witches may collect shells, driftwood, seaweed, and other items washed ashore for use in spells, rituals, or as talismans. Gather seashells, sea glass, and other treasures washed ashore by the ocean, incorporating them into your spells, rituals, and altar decorations to infuse your magic with the energy of the sea.
🌊 Invoke Ocean Deities: Cultivate a relationship with ocean deities and spirits, such as Poseidon, Yemaya, or Neptune, by offering prayers, making offerings, and invoking their blessings and protection in your magical workings.
🧜🏼‍♀️ Seafaring Lore and Folk Traditions: Sea witches may draw upon maritime folklore, legends, and traditions for rituals, spells, and divination practices. Marine creatures like dolphins, whales, mermaids, and sea turtles may hold symbolic significance in sea witchcraft, representing various aspects of the ocean's energy and mythology.
🌬️ Navigation and Divination: Some sea witches incorporate navigation techniques, such as reading the stars or using instruments like compasses, into their practice. Divination methods related to the sea, such as scrying with water or shells, may also be used.
🦭 Respect for Nature: Central to sea witchery is a reverence for the natural world, particularly the ocean and its ecosystems, with an emphasis on environmental stewardship and sustainability. Sea witches often perform rituals for protection, purification, healing, and empowerment, drawing upon the strength and resilience of the ocean.

Whether you're a beachcomber, a sailor, or simply a lover of the sea, Sea Magic invites you to dive deep into the mysteries of the ocean and explore the hidden realms that lie beneath the waves. So let the rhythm of the sea guide you, and may your magic flow as freely as the currents of the ocean! 🌊🐚

The forecast warned us to be careful. Wild weather, was their official ruling, as well as a strong recommendation to stay indoors.
They failed to tell us that "wild" meant the rain would be a deep pink, the smell of festering meat being carried through the air. It stuck to everything, burning each surface on contact, melting through even human skin.
They also didn't tell us it would have eyes.

I don't know about all of you but where I live, with our days trending 90 to 95 degrees lately, it feels almost like summer refuses to let go- and fall is having none of it. The mornings and evenings are cooler regardless, the trees are letting go of their leaves, and the change of season has been thundering in as though it were kicking down the door.
I just can't help but be in awe as two wildly powerful aspects of nature seemingly war with one another right under our noses and outside our nine to fives.

My personal morale is a little difficult to keep lifted.
Which feels strange considering my life is the most stable and good that it is has ever been.
The world is a difficult place to live in.
Mental health is the best it has ever been too.
But the sunshine...as unusual and uncalled for as it is, is uplifting and pleasant. I said the other day: might as well enjoy the nice bits of the apocalypse while you can.
I'm really looking forward to getting the plants going outside. There are some things that I can plant while it is consistent fifties. More sun means things inside will be very happy.
My home is very humid because I live near alot of water and it has been my enemy for starting things inside.
Growing things is soothing and a great source of peace for me.
Next week starts more consistent warms. Alot of projects outside.

The Ultimate Grimoire Guide
So! I have been seeing a ton of grimoire ideas and thought I’d stuff them all together. A lot of ideas are from @manifestationsofasort, @banebite, and @pigeonflavouredcake. Check them out! They have a ton of cool stuff there.
What Do I Use For My Grimoire?
You can use anything for a grimoire! For a physical one, journals, binders, and notebooks are good. For digital ones, Notion, Tumblr, Docs, and even just your file folder are great.
