Thinking about:

Tokoyami being skittish and avoidant after the first few weeks of your relationship. Everything was amazing with him; he showers you in sweet compliments that leave you breathless, calls you sweet nicknames and always makes time for you. Now imagine your surprise when he starts totally avoiding you.

The bell rings for first period, and your feathery boyfriend is yet to be seen. Anxiety started to gnaw at your chest; he hadn’t responded to your get well soon messages, only leaving you on read. You couldn’t even visit him properly since he gruffly told you to leave him alone when you tapped on his door.

It was not like Tokoyami at all, as communication was incredibly important to him in a relationship. Your anxiety bubbled over as you gnawed on your lip. Was this his way of breaking up with you? He had blown you off with plans for the last weekend too, making this a repeated issue. You knew you would get upset thinking about this, so you continued to scrawl down the notes from Aizawa’s lesson.

You mentally resolved to visit Tokoyami after the school day is finished and see just what the problem is.

You gently tapped on Tokoyami’s door yet again, praying to whatever entity that he would let you in.

“I don’t wish to see anyone at the minute, please leave me alone,” you heard him grunt back lowly. He sounded pained and hurt, not to mention tired. You bit your lip in anxiety.

“Fumi? It’s me, my love. Are you alright? Please let me in, I’m so worried about you,” you pleaded him through the door. You heard a sigh.

“I’m sorry but not right now. I’m not well, and I do not wish to pass the illness on,” he continued, sounding more irritated by the second.

“I don’t care if you get me sick Fumi, I can take care of you and help you get better,” you compromised, hoping he takes the deal.

“Starlight, not now. This.. it’s a different kind of illness,-” Tokoyami was cut off by a series of coughs resonating deeply in his room.

“That’s it Fumikage, I’m coming in!” You announced, undeterred by his pleads and demands for you to stop. You gasp upon entering his room; black feathers were strewn across his bedroom in random directions and places. His lamps were lit, leaving the gothic bedroom in a ghostly light as you tried to find your boyfriend.

He was trembling in the middle of his bed, surrounded by a growing pile of feathers and trying to hide himself with his pillow.

“Fumi? Are you okay honey?” Your voice filtered through his room as you closed the door behind you.

“Why are you covering your face, love? Is something the matter?” Your worried voice drove a sigh out of Fumikage as he lowered his shield. You let out a slight gasp; he was moulting. His feathers looked sparse in some areas, some turned grey and some on their way to drop out his face. Even though his face was not one of a humans, you could almost see the bags under his eyes.

“Oh my god Fumi, what’s happened?!” You try not to let your voice get too alarmed; you didn’t want your boyfriend to think you were disgusted of him.

“I knew this would happen. It was foolish of me to think I could prevent it. It is a byproduct of my quirk: every few months I moult my feathers to make way for thicker and healthier ones, but as such it takes a toll on my body. I get hot flashes, and my feathers just drop out. I am usually plagued by insomnia, yet it worsens during this period of time. You must think it’s disgusting,” his voice quietens in embarrassment.

You let out a small “oh” upon his explanation, feeling stupid for your prior thoughts. You slowly made your way to his bed and sat next to him, rubbing slow circles to his shoulder.

“That’s not the case at all, my love! I had no idea that your quirk would cause this but it makes sense. I wish you would have told me about this. I’m here for you, I can help you face problems like these. It’s not a disgusting thing, it’s perfectly natural,” you comforted him, slowly grabbing his hand and gently rubbing in between the knuckle like you know he likes.

Tokoyami seemed shocked at your response. Any other person apart from Shoji usually made comments along the lines of “ew, I couldn’t cope with it,” or something. The politest would just give him a sympathetic smile that was tinged with disgust.

“A-are you quite sure starlight? This can be a troublesome task-” you interrupt him.

“Of course Fumi. Now, come here. I brought some supplies in case you were sick,” you rearrange yourself so that you were at the headrest of the bed and Fumikage curled up against you. You produced a bottle of his favourite flavoured water and held it to him as he shakily managed a few gulps. He let out a shaky and tired breath as he nestled himself against your chest.

Your hands found his silky feathers and Fumikage’s eyes burst open. It was foreign for him to feel someone so casually pet him. You worked in continuous strokes, gently setting aside any loose or broken feathers before petting him again.

Fumikage let out a contented chirp each time you found a particularly annoyed or irritated area. His natural bird-like instincts were screaming at him; his mate was grooming him!! Actually helping him maintain his appearance!! Making him feel better about his icky transformation!! It was a dream come true.

He nuzzled his beak closer to your neck and allowed his breaths to get deeper and slower, before totally falling limp against you.

And you know what? That was the best night’s sleep he had in 4 days.

Bakugou

He didn't want you to come on this mission anyway, hell he doesn't even want you doing hero work. This mission was nothing but a risk and you volunteered to assist regardless of his wishes.

He was angry, frustrated at you for not heeding his warnings, seething at the other heroes who didn't feel obligated to stick around, and royally pissed off at how slimy this villain was acting.

The villain had a powerful quirk sure, whatever. With the both of you fighting him it shouldn't have been an issue at all, but this was a villain.

He was targeting fleeing civilians.

Your heart of gold and reputation of a noble calm and decisive hero was being tested. You couldn't stand watching him wreak havoc to innocent people who want nothing more than to live their lives normally. It's why you were fighting him more aggressively than your hot headed duo.

You tried to corner him, a feeble attempt to pause his rampage, but you couldn't anticipate what he was actually planning.

Katsuki could though.

The only thing you remember is pain in your head and the ringing of explosions as the villain started to collapse the building. The pain shot up your nervous system, a numbing, hot sensation you couldn't even comprehend.

Your vision went dark as Bakugou desperately shook you, his gloves sending shockwaves of agony through your body.

The villain gets away and you can see Katsuki torn between pursuing and the paniced eyes as he assessed your condition.

"Why would you push him without me?!" His voice cracking under the shock of what he witnessed.

He knew he was going to target you. This villain made it clear he was going to "take away what grounded Ground Zero".

He struggled to break the rubble and rebarb that was now crushing your legs, trying to gently but quickly use bursts of his explosions.

You didn't have the heart to tell him you couldn't even feel that your legs were even there.

Sero

It's not like you both expected to get roped up into a fight, it just kind of happened. You could here bits of pieces of what happened, something about a lost bet?

A bet certainly didn't excuse the absolute bullet hell that came after the argument. Bits of glass flew through the air like horizontal snow.

You and Sero mutually agreed to start evacuating the civilians away from the line of fire, while also trying to notify others to close off the strip. Sero tried to wrap up the main aggressors hands but the glass shredded his tape almost instantly. No matter what tactics he tried, his tape was no match to glass ripping apart every inch of tape he would shoot out.

Sero tried to get close to the villain, maybe his reaction time would be slower than his tape?

You felt your heart drop as you watched the villain reach out his arm. Time seemed to slow, you felt like you were just walking in between Sero and the villain. You could see his face change, his pleading look to just move out of the way. The smirk of the villain creeping across his face.

All you felt was Sero's tape wrapping around you, it's touch almost comforting, saying everything is okay.

That was until the searing pain pelted your torso.

Sero yanked you to the side, the landing rough and out of his control. Your breathing became rapid as shock took over. The villain looked in horror at what he had caused and ran off.

Sero rushed over, his body trembling at the sight of all of the blood. He reaches out to hold you but hesitates as he realizes the gravity of the situation. His tape kept the large shards of glass in place, but were stained a horrifying crimson.

He didn't leave your side, but you couldn't decide what was worse.

The agony of sharpness in your body, or Sero's haunting screams for help.

Tokoyami

This couldn't have been a worse match up.

Not only were the two of you outnumbered but it was so bright. Dark Shadow struggled to maintain the offensive. You figured you could take out the harsh lights of the villains hideout as a way to help even the odds. The only problem was finding an opening to safely hit them at once.

"We have no choice, y/h/n! We have to retreat!" Tokoyami managed to yell out before another barrage of physical quirks hit Dark Shadow.

You didn't see any other way of escape, your tunnel vision gaining a hold on you.

You took the chance.

You managed to take out most of the lights but the villains were ready for that. On the fourth light you got tackled. As much as you struggled you couldn't break free of this quirks hold. You could feel your limbs getting heavier, whether it be from exhaustion of the fight or a quirk of some kind you couldn't tell.

Dark Shadow struggled to rise to you, but the lights were redirected at him, causing him to shriek and recoil.

Suddenly a bright light blinded you, then a searing pain swelled from your eyes. You tried opening them but your body was telling you they are as open as they could be. Confusion and panic set in, the pain only amplifying as the light seemingly got brighter.

You screamed out in agony.

All you could feel was intense pain from your eye sockets, and all you could hear was a mixture of Tokoyami and Dark Shadow roaring in a flurry of emotions.

It was dark.

But only for you.

MHA|Hawks x Villain GN!Reader

Warnings: None

Summary: Y/N returns to their small apartment after another night of activities, but upon arriving they realise they aren't alone. Finding a hero in their kitchen who had helped themselves to their food during their wait. But instead of apprehending them- instead the hero asks for help...

A/N: I had this in my head for awhile and I'm not entirely proud of the end result. I'm still getting used to writing a gender neutral Y/N. I wasn't sure who to pair them with for this but decided on Hawks because- yes. No thoughts just- feathered boi. Also on another note V/N= Villain Name. This also took longer then I'd like to admit- and if you'd like to request something go ahead! I need more ideas of things to write.

A mastermind they called them, someone who had a strong distaste for heroes and society. They received a name from the public, V/N; the one who would finish the job. The name ended up sticking, as the barer grew to like the name bestowed upon them by the public.

Managing to slip away on countless occasions, each time the villain would send them on a wild chase as if it was nothing more then a game. It had been going on for weeks, like a game of cat and mouse.

They slipped back into their apartment through their bedroom window, the apartment itself was small but accommodated for everything they needed.

Y/N stripped themselves of their villain attire, changing into more comfortable clothes as the early hours of the mornings light crept through the curtains of their window.

It had been a tiring but long night that consisted of a load of work and running from both the heroes and the police. It was like they were closing in on them, it felt suffocating. Knowing they could be getting closer to their capture felt anything but pleasant.

Once Y/N finished changing they threw their villain clothes into the nearby clothes basket before exiting their room.

"Guess I was right after all wasn't I?" Someone asked, the voice coming from somewhere behind them. They knew that voice, they heard it a few times before on the news.

Y/N whipped their head around to be met with a blonde man with red feathered appendages leaning their arm's on the kitchen island. The current number two hero; Hawks. Who was best known for the efficiency and speed.

"This is a nice apartment you got here, seems like the work pays well huh?" He asked, as he stood up straight and walked towards them. Several feathers detached from his wings.

Hawks wore an innocent smile across his face as he stepped away from the dimly lit kitchen. Y/N glanced at the kitchen island he had been at, seeing a plate with what they could only guess was a half eaten slice of the leftover pizza from the previous day.

Y/N wondered how long the hero had been there for, just wait for them to get back and confront them.

Y/N found that they were walking backwards upon the hero growing closer to them, until they stumbled. Nearly falling back when the hero caught them.

He couldn't help but laugh, "careful, don't want to be damaging the cargo." He joked, as if he was deliberately toying with them to try ease their guard.

"I didn't expect the great V/N to be this easy to find."

"Alright, you found me. Now what do you want?" Y/N snapped, jerking their hand free. Keigo laughed, he was laughing?- Y/N appeared caught off guard, wondering why he was laughing.

"Sorry for scaring you, I had to see for myself what you were like and- honestly? You don't look like much." Keigo shrugged.

"Well here I am, in the flesh. So out with it."

"Fine, fine... Straight to business I see, here. Take a look at this, it might be of interest to you."

Keigo held out a folder, but pulled it back when they went to grab it.

"Not to fast, if I hand this to you? I want you to work with me. Let's catch this guy together, got it?"

If anything he had them right where he wanted, as he finally handed them the file.

Skimming through it Y/N's eyes darted to meet Keigo's.

"Fine, count me in bird."

TW DEATH AND ILLNESS

Reader (As Cinderella) after running away at midnight, gets severely ill, and they only have a few days left.

The MHA Character (As The Prince) of course, finds them and finds out about their condition. The Prince decides to take the reader out on the nicest, most amazing date he possibly could, fulfilling all of reader's bucket list.

At the end of the date The Prince and reader share a kiss under the stars, confessing their love for each other, halfway through their confessions, however, reader passes away in The Princes arms.

I always needed the darkness, Valued its touch, its feeling, and its calmness I admired it, the danger of lingering too long inside of my inner darkness I hated the light. It made me weak But then the light came around and engulfed me in a warm hug Your light made the darkness vanish, I felt weak at first, but then the warmth of it made me crave your light I bathed inside of it, I absorbed it with my whole being But then your light vanished, and I was left in the darkness I now know that I never loved the darkness, I was just too afraid to get abandoned by the light

there was so much chaos around him already with the war. constantly on the move and helping others, while doing his best to survive himself. he was surprised he found out so soon. thankful, but surprised

or as thankful as you can be in that situation

when he first got the news, he froze

just absolutely speechless

it was almost like he didn’t even hear them, to the point where the person started to repeat what they said

but tokoyami held up a hand as a signal and turned his back to them. it could’ve been one of his closest friends telling him the news, he would still refuse to speak

to be honest, he didn’t process it at first—he didn’t process it for a while. someone as amazing as you was just here. and now you’re gone? now they’re saying you’re gone? it felt too surreal

but he knew he had to accept it. he was familiar with death, very familiar. once you’re dead, you’re dead.

his friends tried to comfort him, knowing how important you were in his life, and grieving you themselves beside him. he accepted their comfort, saying that he was thankful and wanted to continue moving on—“it’s what they would’ve wanted” he would say

dark shadow was a complete wreck throughout it all, so they grieved together

through tokoyami’s determination to not let himself go due to your death, he inspired his classmates and friends to do the same. they wanted you to live on in their memories, you would never be truly gone

it was almost confusing to him when he was so fine with it all—he wished he could play the role of the desperate lover, he felt like you deserved it. but that wasn’t who he was, and you loved him for him. so, he didn’t question it and went to your funeral with everyone else

emphasis on “was fine”

he thought he would be okay when the time came. all of his friends thought he would be too with how well he was handling the situation so far

but when he saw your still face in your casket

something in him shattered

it was physical proof you wouldn’t come back, and he had to stare at it right it the face—your face. the more he thought about it, the worse it got

he would never hear you laugh again. never see your smile. never get to hear you talk about the world as you saw it. everything that made you you was now only in his mind. it would never get to shine in the real world ever again

he isolated himself, not answering to anyone’s texts or calls. he couldn’t find the energy in him to eat unless dark shadow dragged him to the kitchen

first, dark shadow was the one out of control, now it was tokoyami

the only “productive” thing he would do was write poetry rampantly in his notebook about you in two ways:

who you were and why in god’s name he was so destroyed about you no longer being here

he will get over your death

but it’s going to be a long journey, and he won’t be the same afterwards

MHA|Hawks/Keigo x Gender Neutral Y/N (Platonic)| Disaster strikes

Warnings: Angst| Implied Character Death|Major Injuries|neutral Reader| Platonic Relationship!

Summary: Y/N worked under Hawks as an intern, though a tad slow for the hero. They were accompanying him during a patrol along with Tokoyami, that was all it was meant to be. Neither of them expected to run into a disastrous situation, where Y/N had become reckless...

A/N: I mostly based Hawks on how I think he would react to the type of situation, believing that it is HIS fault. Y/N is a minor in this piece! Keigo/Hawks has no romantic intent with them!

"No..."Keigo said in a murmur, as he shook his head in disbelief of the scene in front of him. His wings drooped behind him.

How hadn't I seen this coming? He thought to himself, his hero persona was breaking. The hero everyone saw as a calm, unfazed individual was disintegrating.

The yellow tinted visor he wore was cracked, seconds away from being broken as he surveyed the scene in front of him.

He knew they were a bit too reckless for his liking, yet he had allowed them to accompany him on what was meant to be a simple patrol. He stood in the streets, before him stood piles of rubble and large debris from two buildings that were parallel to one another.

The hero who was known for being too fast wasn't fast enough to save his own intern from their own recklessness behaviour.

Keigo snapped back to reality when he felt an excruciating pain in his wings; the pain he felt when a feather was broken. Causing him to slightly stumble, hunching over slightly and unfurl his wings.

It only took a few seconds for Keigo to push away the pain and catch his bearings as he darted towards the rubble. Overturning debris, with the slight hope. That the feather he had given them had broken in their hands.

Eventually he found them, his body grew tired as he tried to lift up the rubble. His feathers nearly breaking themselves just trying to lift it, despite their strenght.

"Hey! Someone come help me!" He shouted to the heroes that were also on the scene. another hero that was on the scene. Hearing hos voice two heroes hurried over to assist him.

"Careful, Y/N is underneath-" Keigo warned them, as the concrete slab was lifted and one of the aiding heroes carefully removed them from underneath.

He could have almost cried after seeing the injuries Y/N endured, until he noticed they had something in their hands.

"Hey Hawks- isn't that one of your feathers?" One of the heroes asked, the only response the hero gave was nothing more then a nod as the hero transferred Y/N to Keigo's hold.

He immediately checked their pulse, letting out a sigh of relief when he felt that they were alive. A part of him knew that they were too young for his line of work and far too young to die.

"When will the ambulances be here?" Keigo asked, as he removed the broken mask that they wore. He tried to keep a calm face as he saw the damage. The mask had penetrated parts of the skin along their jawline, while he didn't dismiss the other injuries his intern had sustained. All because he couldn't keep them on a short leash.

"Not for another while, with all the damage my guess is that they'll have to take an entirely different route."

The winged hero was anything but pleased, the one time he decides on taking people on for internships. The one time he allowed himself to leave them to their own devices. Tokoyami approached after making sure there were no more civilians, only to see his classmate in the hero's arms.

"Hawks-" He began but shook his head, as if he changed his mind in what to say.

"Get Y/N to the hospital, I'm sure we can take it from here." He said, clearly he was just as worried as Hawks hesitated. He knew he couldn't leave Tokoyami, he'd get in more trouble.

The other heroes reassured that they'd send Tokoyami off after things were finished up, they could use the extra set of hands. So it hadn't taken long for him to be persuade and take off to the skies with Y/N, their destination being the nearby hospital.

"Just- hold in there kid..." He murmured, maybe more to himself. Hoping he'd get there in time, while knowing he'd have to put a stop to his schedule to ring Aizawa and inform about the state of a student.

After arriving to the hospital and explaining what happened Y/N was immediately taken away from his hold. Leaving him with time to give Aizawa a call. Something he didn't think he'd ever have to do, bracing himself for a lecture as the phone buzzed.

"Hawks? Why are you ringing? Did something happen?" Came a tired voice on the other side of the phone.

"Erasure! You sure took your sweet time-" Hawks said, trying to keep up the act he was so used to putting on as selfish as it would seem.

"What is it?" Aizawa asked, the question was followed by a long pause. But he could hear the others tone as clear as day. He could only guess that something had happened.

"It's... Y/N- " There it was, the carefree persona was gone. As hard as he tried to hide it, as much as he wanted to hide how he felt about it.

"They- got trapped under some rubble and... were seriously injured. I thought I'd let you know, Tokoyami's fine as far as I know. He stayed at the site to help out," Keigo continued as he awaited to hear what Aizawa had to say.

Maybe he expected a lecture from the older hero, for not only endangering two students but for abandoning one at the site to take priority of another.

He was on the phone for awhile, going back and forth with the hero discussing things. He trembled with relief when the call ended, thankfully it seemed like he only got a slap on the wrist. Aizawa had been understanding about it, but he figured he'd give them a break from their internships. Let them both rest up and try put it behind them.

Warnings: Character Death, description of injuries, All For One (he deserves his own warning), angst, some heartbreak fluff, STAR AND STRIPE ARC SPOILERS

“A deadline extension?!” Bakugo yells out. The news that Shigaraki had come out of hiding fighting America’s Number One and winning was a shock to you all. It had happened all so fast too quickly, this war taking more lives than needed.

“Yes. Originally tomorrow was the day Shigaraki would have his perfected body. But now he’ll be out of commission for at least a week. Star and Stripe…bought us this time as a parting gift.” All Might explains looking at all of you, “We’ll use this time to our advantage. And we’ll take down Shigaraki and All For One.”

“Wait, So Star dealt lasting damage to Shigaraki?!” Midoriya asks.

“Data analysis from the American fighter jets tells us…that when Shigaraki stole New Order…it ate away at him from the inside like a poison. Evidence suggests that New Order ravaged a considerable number of quirks held in his massive library.” All Might says.

“Okay, so that means…” Jiro says. “Right now is the world’s best chance to take him out!” Momo says.

“The mass civilian evacuation effort continues..and all remaining heroes are now on the hunt for villains. All For One may have suffered this setback but figuring out his next move is nearly impossible. Whether we find him or he comes to us…full mobilization and all-out war are inevitable. Here’s what you’re up against..” All Might looks at all of you, “He may be sidelined for the moment, but Tomura Shigaraki is still the deadliest villain out there. Then there’s All For One himself. His original body. Plus Dabi, the madman with flames as fierce as Endeavor’s. Young Himiko Toga is a constant thorn in our side. The six remaining near high-ends. The remnants of the liberation front. And then there are the yet to be apprehended escaped convicts who serve All For One.”

“It’s safe to assume the list goes on…” Shoji says and the former hero nods,

“Yes. They will likely amass more allies. Meanwhile, less than half of those on our side remains to face this threat. It pains me to say this just after Star’s untimely death in the line of duty…but if you hope to protect anything you hold dear at all...then I would ask you to fortify yourselves using this extension we’ve been given.”

“Already way ahead of ya!” Bakugo yells out surprising the old man.

“What he said.” Uraraka agrees, “You haven’t noticed because you and Deku left the school, All Might.”

“And when you do return, you leave without a moment’s notice,” Iida adds.

“In the wake of Gunga and Jaku, we’ve been doing intensive training with the pussycats.” Ojiro brings up.

“Where Midoriya goes, we follow undaunted, we shall fight until Shigaraki has fallen.” Tokoyami says determined.

“Kacchan and the others even agreed to spar with me..to help me complete One For All.” Midoriya says and Bakugo blows up, “HUUUUH?! I never said that! Did some prison breaker rip yer ears off?! All I wanna know is how much punch my new cluster moves are packing. Taking on One For All is just another box to tick on the path to Shigaraki and All For One.”

“Hey, don’t forget to beat the snot outta me too!” “You ain’t ready to give up the title of resident punching bag?” “Naw, I just need to take some good poundings if I ever wanna get harder!” “We gotta honor Star’s last wishes.” “How dare that piece of crap take my Star from me..” “Star fought for all of us, Mineta.”

As the class all talked amongst themselves one person stood out to the side watching them all with pride in their eyes but behind it was almost regret.

“Shimura…” All Might calls out standing beside you as you watch your classmates all confidence and determination clear on their faces, “Are you alright.”

“Star died because of the actions of my brother,” You say and All Might tries to comfort you but you keep talking, “If I was stronger and was able to stop him people wouldn’t have been hurt…Midoriya wouldn’t have had to leave…Star would be alive.”

“Shimura..” All Might says

“I could get my quirk back.” You say and All Might whips his head to look at you in shock, “Eri was able to do it to Mirio and he has his quirk back alright..it’s been brought up a few times, I thought it was better I stayed quirkless. One For All remains dormant inside me weaken by All For One but at first, it was alright. I was dead to the world...I couldn’t hurt anyone with my quirk…All For One couldn’t take control of me anymore. But now…with everything happening, everyone getting stronger...Shigaraki and All For One growing, and now Star’s death it all just kinda hit me.” Your gaze is solely focused on Midoriya as he speaks with his classmates a smile on his face.

“You told Midoriya and me that one day we would have to face off a great evil. That it was our destiny and at first I was excited to have a purpose in my life..to finally do good after everything I’ve done. For a time I thought it was all bullshit, that it shouldn’t be our responsibility we were kids…we still are kids and this pressure shouldn’t be put on us but it was. Add the trust issues and everything that happened I grew distant, from Midoriya, from you…from what this ‘destiny’ was. I thought I could avoid it. Change fate. Get Shigaraki to stop, convince him otherwise but him…my brother was long gone replaced by whatever All For One created.” You grow quiet the weight of your words resting heavily on All Might’s shoulders.

“You can’t run from destiny..it would always come true.”

“Y/n…”

“I’m going to take my quirk back…not All For One’s or One For All’s my quirk..my power..and I’ll do my part.” You say your face hardens your decision certain, “And if everything fails and we don’t win..I’ll be able to die knowing I did my part as a hero. I’ve atoned for my sins..the blood on my hands will never be washed clean but I tried my best.” You look at the hero a weak smile on your face and a tear falls gently down your face before you look back at your class…your family.

“I was able to find a family here…find love..and that is me, Y/n Shimura accepting my destiny…right Toshinori?” You look at him and he holds his composure nodding and the two of you look back at your classmates.

“Yes…yes it is Shimura.”

You stood inside Recovery Girl’s office a private room large enough for what was to happen.

“Are you sure about this Ms. Shimura…this is something you can’t just pull away from once this begins, the process will be quite painful due to the power of the quirk.” Principal Nezu asks you and you nod sharply. You had made your mind up long ago and you weren’t going to take it back despite the pain you were going to endure. All For One is such an old and powerful quirk you would revert your body to a state where you had a powerful quirk. A time when your body was suited for it and despite the training you pushed yourself into you wouldn’t know how your body will react until you received the quirk. As a child, you can’t remember the strain you went through to gain this quirk probably with help from the doctor but you survived and you would survive again.

“I have to do this..It’s the only way we can win this war.” You say looking over at the people with you in the room, Principal Nezu, Recovery Girl, Endeavor, Hawks, Best Jeanist, All Might, Mirio, Eri, and Midoriya. You were shocked to see Mr. Aizawa had joined as well with Present Mic.

“Every time something bad is going to happen you’re always somehow involved,” Aizawa says through the screen that Present Mic held and you almost cried out seeing him, while he had lost his leg and his eye he was still your every sarcastic homeroom teacher.

“Eri’s quirk will rewind your body back to a state where you had your quirk, due to the fact the last time you had your quirk was during the battle we have a team of doctors on standby for any injuries that may appear.” Recovery Girl explains and you look over at the young girl who is playing with her fingers beside Mirio. You walk over kneeling down pushing a strand of hair from her face.

“Thank you for doing this…seems like you’re saving me again.” You say a smile on your face and she nods before her arms wrap around your neck and you hesitate before hugging her back.

“I won’t let you down.” She says and you smile standing up and petting her head Mirio gives you a comforting smile before you look over at the heroes.

“Thank you for coming.” You say to the top three heroes.

“Eh a chance we either see you gruesomely die, you gain your quirk and we have to take you down, or you’re all good. Just a normal day I guess now.” Hawks shrugs and Best Jeanist elbows him giving him a look. You smile, thankful for some humor for today.

“You’re taking a chance for all of our sakes…thank you, Shimura.” Best Jeanist says and you look over at Endeavor your mentor.

“Stay focused and strong. I know you won’t fail.” Endeavor says and you nod before looking over at All Might he steps forward his hand cupping your face and pushing your hair back.

“You’re strong Shimura…stronger than any of us right now... you can do it.” He says his hold on your face comforting and assertive you nod pulling away and you look at the last person. Midoriya was standing still trying to stay composed beside All Might but you could see through him.

“Come here you baby.” You hold your arms out and he rushes into your arms pulling you tight to him his grip tight but grounding. You both hold each other before you lean back holding his face and pushing the hairs in front of his forehead back kissing the same spot you always do on his forehead.

“I love you.” You say and his eyes widen like saucers, “I love you Izuku Midoriya and you deserve me telling you this…before I ya know…maybe die in a gruesome way. So yeah.” You say and he’s silent and you see the tears filling his eyes and you pinch his cheeks to distract him, “Hey no crying.. 'cause if you cry I cry and that’s not really cool. Besides I’m trying to do this really cool goodbye-I love you-I may die-goodbye thing so please don’t ruin it.” You say rolling your eyes and he chokes out a laugh and you smile pecking his lips.

“I’ll be fine Broccoli Boy okay.” You say and he nods keeping his tears contained.

“I love you Y/n.” His voice cracks slightly and you feel a part of your heart crack..smiling you take in every detail of him, from his hair to his brilliant green eyes, the freckles splattered across his face everything as if this is your last moment with him. He leans in for a kiss but you step back still holding his hand,

“Kiss me when I wake up.” You say and he nods the two of you heading over to the table and you lay down still holding his hand as Recovery Girl places the straps around your hands and ankles and the last one around your head to hold it down. Squeezing his hand he smiles teary-eyed stepping back beside All Might and you look at them all taking them all in…these may be the last people you ever see.

Principal Nezu steps closer, “Thank you Ms. Shimura for everything you’re doing for us as a student of U.A. and a hero.” He says and you smile before looking at the ceiling. You see Eri step closer standing on a platform to be at your level as you lay there.

“See you all in a bit.” You smile and look at Eri nodding and her horn begins to glow a bright yellow her hair floating a bit from the power running through her and you look at Midoriya a smile still on your face as you keep eye contact. Eri’s hand presses against your chest and your eyes turn a bright white your body locks up and everything goes black the last thing you see is Midoriya only him.

“Y/n come on Papa is going to be mad!” A voice calls out follow by footsteps running away.

“Be careful she’s fragile...Tenko.” A woman’s voice light and warm speak

“What’s her name?” A boy’s voice asks and the woman chuckles.

“Y/n..her name is Y/n Shimura.”

You see a ceiling and pushing yourself up you find yourself on a bed finding yourself in a home…your home. Standing from the bed you look around everything looks normal but the decorations in the room change from what would look like a child’s room to a teenager’s room.

“Mama…” You call out your voice echoing through the house as you step into the hallway, “Papa…Hana..grandma..grandpa?” Your footsteps are light as you travel down the hall and you find yourself in the living room pausing at the sight before you. Your whole family stood in the room frozen in different poses, your mother and father sitting on the couch your mother with a smile painting on her face and her hands mid-clap. Your father sits back his leg resting on top of his other one a small smile on his face. Your grandparents sit on the other lounge chair smiling on each of their faces looking down at the children sitting on the floor. Hana is on her knees mid-laughter as Mon is licking all over her face. Tenko is sitting off to the side the tiniest grin on his face his hair all black his grey eyes widening with wonder. The perfect family…

“Y/n.” A voice calls out and you turn looking away from the display of your family and finding yourself floating in space, around you were broken memories of your life. Fragmented moments repeat on broken platforms as they present themselves before fading. Moments of you as a child repeat like a broken record you running around your yard chasing after Mon as your siblings and mother watch before it resets and begins over again.

“When I become a hero I’ll take you with me and we can be heroes together just like we said we would,” Tenko calls out to you a big grin on his face.

“TENKO! DID YOU SNEAK INTO MY STUDY!!” “KOTARO NO!!” “Stop it! Please Papa stop!” Voices scream out and you see the yard filled with everyone as Tenko cries out on the floor your father standing above him while you defend him.

The screams of your family as they die by your brother’s hands show the graphic memory fresh in your mind repeating each time.

“Y/n…” Turning around there you sit in front of your brother the two of you older. The first time you met during the U.S.J. your hand reaches out for him before Aizawa’s capture weapon wraps around you pulling you away.

“Y/n honey…” Your mother's voice calls out to you and sees standing in the middle of battle flames and screams fill the air, “My darling daughter.” She smiles holding her arms out and you move to step forward but something grabs you by the neck pulling you back. Falling into darkness you hit the ground pushing yourself up.

“I wouldn’t keep secrets from you…You’re someone I trust.” Your voice calls out and there you stand feet away from All Might outside a broken door to U.A.

“As would I, Young Shimura.”

“Y/N!” hands grasp your arms and you’re pulled into a puddle of darkness gasping for air you the cool breeze covers you.

“I’m not the bad guy in this situation.” You call out to a boy across a training ground.

“Neither am I…” He responds and fighting ensues.

“For betraying Master.” Her cold voice calls out and you're forced to watch blades enter your body blood pouring out of your body. The life from you draining as your classmates cry out to you from above.

“Shimura.”

The darkness pulls away revealing a boy pressed up the wall under a bridge tears pouring down his face. Stepping closer you bend down and he looks up and you see the light blue hair and red eyes staring back at you.

“Tenko..” You breathe out and when you hold out your hand you stumble back seeing the hole resting in the center of your palm.

“Y/n Shimura…” His voice is cold and you find yourself on a platform the world breaking down pieces of your memories around you cracking and decaying into nothingness. Moments of your past and your present melding together destroying itself standing on a platform further away shadows and power surrounding him.

“All For One.” You call out your voice echoing out in the darkness and you look down finding yourself in your hero costume, the injuries from the battle slowly growing across you and healing before reappearing again.

“You’re supposed to be dead.” He says and you shrug staring back at where his eyes should be if they weren’t covered in scars and mutilated flesh. “You won’t survive the process of regaining my quirk. You barely did the first time.”

You had begun to notice the memories of your present had begun cracking and fading away…was this dying..was too much rewinding back, you were now in your old hero costume the battle during the raid.

“It’s my power…you hold no claim on me anymore.” You shout back at him a burning feeling running through your injuries from the raid appearing making you stagger before they rewind back disappearing.

He grins, “How wrong you are Shimura…you and Tomura believe you can resist my hold but you soon will submit or suffer the consequences.” Cuts and scrapes and your nose rebreak, the night at Kamino Ward.

“Look at yourself your body is unable to handle the full nature of All For One that you are writing yourself out of existence.”

Memories fade your mind growing hazy…why were you even here? Shouldn’t you be at a summer camp?

Your chest grows tight pain growing across your body stabs and cuts from the Hero Killer’s blade reopen old wounds reopened. Your clothes are now your school uniform.

“You’re only option is to submit...I will make you stronger Shimura..” He calls out a platform separating from when you stand is created. And this pull of shadows and pain, memories decaying from your mind as your take a step forward. With that single step, the world around you shakes as each step destroys more moments of your life. Ice and Fire spread through your arm the burns on your skin leaving from the Sports Festival that memory dying as well.

“This was your true destiny… Becoming a hero was a moment of weakness.” All For One says each step growing closer to him the world around you as your life fades your free will dying as you move towards his side.

Flashes of memories during your first villain attack when they attacked your class. The flash of blue hair and red eyes causes you to stammer. “Tenko..” You whisper out taking a step back and the memory that fades lightly reappears.

“He is safe…with me. You can be with him when you join me.” All For One reassure you.

“y/n…” A light whisper of the boy’s voice rings in your ear and you continue moving forward that memory fading completely. You had just completed your first training with your class, and that memory dies. Your first exam determines whether you stay in U.A. when you first discovered your quirk.

“Y/n Shimura..” A ghost drifts past your ears the faint static electricity runs through your veins but you continue moving. Your clothes being your middle school uniform your hair loss of its white color but h/c.

“You’re almost there Shimura.” His voice lures you closer to times of your middle school years go as a child fighting for a man’s goal. To defeat the Number One, the Symbol of Peace. Hair a deep black as you stand before him as he towers over you like a building. The only lasting memory left was going with your brother, clutching his shirt as you followed after him. You had to go find your parents and your sister, and where were your grandparents?

“I’ll keep you safe,” The man before you says holding his hand out the small hole resting in his palm,

“Y/n Shigaraki.”

Your small hand reaches out just a hair away from taking his.

“I LOVE YOU Y/N SHIMURA!” A boy’s voice yells out. Turning away and there stands a young boy with green hair and green eyes wide with wonder and love. “You’re amazing. I can say it again. Y/N SHIMURA IS THE MOST FUNNIEST, SMART, CREATIVE, STRONG-”

“WHAT IS THIS?” All For One yells out as the young boy moves forward slowly aging until a teenage boy stands in front of you.

“I love you Y/n Shimura…” He says holding out his hand and you can’t help but stare at the older boy in front of you. Everything in you was telling you to ignore it, accept All For One’s hand, but just a small part of you somewhere deep inside you was fighting. You knew him…

“Izuku…?” You whisper out and a smile grows on the boy’s face.

“NO! I OWN YOU SHIMUR-” All For One bellows swiping his hand out but it’s caught by the wrist being held back. Your gaze is cold staring back at him. All For One a villain having such a deep impact on Japan causing so many people’s lives to be ruined staring back at a girl. A girl who was born with no purpose in the world but had such a deep impact on those around here for the better. White hair floats gently around your hair your deep red eyes staring back at him.

“No…you don’t.” You say tilting your head slightly, “Because this is my power…” Shadows surrounding All For One pull away from him light coming forward parts of himself cracking and being pulled into yourself as he fails to break free from your grasp, “This is my quirk…my life..not yours. You thought I was going to be your weapon again? Your sword…” You shake your head and for once you can see fear cross his face...

“You’re wrong. This is mine..always will be,” You pull him forward power running through your veins in a bright glow,

“This is my destiny.”

The shadows around him and himself completely disappear completely absorbed releasing a bright light blinding you for a second. Looking around you find yourself in the backyard of your childhood home the sun shining down on you, the sound of laughter has you looking over inside the home you see yourself with your family all together smiles on your face. Your parents and grandparents watch with smiles as their children/grandchildren play together. Your eyes widen seeing Nana Shimura in the room as well standing beside your father. Almost sensing the staring she looks out meeting your eyes and she smiles nodding at you. The sensation of part of you coming back...One For All…

“Y/n..” A voice calls out and you turn from your family seeing a boy sitting in darkness covered in hands all around him holding him down. He looks consumed by them being held captive, his eyes meet yours and it instantly hits you. He wasn’t dead he was still alive..your brother was still alive.

“Tenko..”

“Y/n…save m-” He calls out before the hands consume him dragging him into the shadows and left standing there is a man…what the boy had become..what you wished he never became.

“Shigaraki…”

“Y/n..”

Your eyes snap open gasping for air sitting up the restraints around you cracking instantly. Your eyes take in Mirio holding Eri back in his arms All Might in front of the two, the Top Three Heroes all ready with their quirks, Present Mic and Aizawa were looking at you worriedly, Principal Nezu and Recovery Girl stood back the healer ready to call the doctors in, and there he is, Izuku Midoriya.

“Tenko…he’s alive.”
