V. HOW TO MAINTAIN FRIENDSHIPS

Everyone has the type of friendship maintenance they feel more comfortable with, but it's a fact that low-maintenance friendships are tho ones that last. Even if you feel more comfortable having high maintenance friendships, make sure that both of you can accomodate to having to maintain the friendship even when both of you are busy.

COMMUNICATION!!! I assure you that there's probably going to be a lot of hardships and misundersatings in your friendships (And that's not bad, we're human) and no proper communication will lead to the deterioration of the friendship.

MY TOP 10 BEST BL COUPLES OF 2023

So I guess I'm a little late considering it's now 2024 in most places, but well, better late than never. I tried and failed to rank top 20 or even 10 kisses... I just couldn't remember them all or even choose... but most of my top couples have some pretty great kisses, so at least there's that! I can, however, rank my favorite BL pairings from 2023, so... let's do it! I will be ranking these from least favorite to favorite because I think it's more fun that way... Also I credited all the gif makers at the bottom but I did list the tumblr user for each specific gif underneath. If someone wants me to remove their gif, please let me know and I will so! I just wanted to pretty up the post a bit.

Also, to clarify, any couple on a show that is currently airing and not complete yet is not eligible to be on the list for 2023. Trust me, there were many I wanted to include!

Tinn & Gun | My School President

So, spoiler, a different GeminiFourth pairing will be on the actual top 10 so I didn't really want to include both pairings on the list, but I really did love the two of them in My School President. G/F just have such a wonderful and natural chemistry. The way they always look at each other just feels so pure and sweet. I really like pairings where one is secretly pining for the other, but Tinn/Gun also sorta had a hate/love ISH thing going for a little while. The progression of their relationship to actual boyfriends was just so fun to watch and really well done.

Dong Wook & Do Hyun | A Breeze of Love

I watched this BL so quickly that it didn't really resonate with me as well as some other series, which is why these two didn't make the top 10, however, I really enjoyed their relationship on the show. I love hate to love pairings and I found their backstory scenes really sweet as well. I also thought they had a really nice chemistry and there were some strong kissing moments for a kbl.

Jihan & Jaejun | City Boy Log

I didn't include these two on the main list for two reasons, one: the show is not over yet... i don't think? and two: this technically isn't a BL drama? IDK anymore, but regardless I love this series and this couple so dang much! I love the realness of them filming themselves and how their relationship is portrayed so subtly until their feelings just sort of emerge. They have some really wonderful and special scenes or moments together that we don't typically get on other series. I am anxious to see where the rest of the story goes and I hope the actors get another opportunity to work together. The side pairing is great too!

#10. Ai & Songkhram | Destiny Seeker

These two were so damn fun to watch, I really loved the hate to love thing at the start that quickly turned into love (Or I guess always sort of was???). The actors had such a great chemistry together and they had so many fun little moments and bantery scenes together. While the rest of the series felt a little flat for me, their connection continuously kept me interested.

#09. Ze Rui & Zong Yi | Kiseki Dear to Me

Honestly don't even know what to write about these two or how to explain why I like them, because there wasn't anything particularly special about their dynamic that typically draws me in, but I just really enjoyed the actors chemistry together and I really liked the progression of their relationship and how well they meshed together. Their kissing was extremely natural too.

#08. King & Eua | Bed Friend

Firstly, these two are HOT AF, and I really loved the friends with benefits storyline between these two, but more than that, we have a perfect character imo with King, who was continuously there for Eua and always trying to help him and make him understand how much he really cared. The show could be very dark at times but I love that King was always sort of the shining light for Eua.

#07. Segaski & Yoh | My Personal Weatherman

I can admit that the big draw to this show for me originally was the sexy scenes and moments, and while I do think the series could have done with some more scenery changes and better storylines, considering the time frame, I enjoyed watching the relationship between the two characters develop. It's nice to get a friends with benefits type of relationship and see how it progresses into more than that. And for a JBL it was nice to see some high heat with a happy ending.

#06. Su Yu & Wu Bi | Stay With Me

SIGH. THESE TWO. So I mean, I understand the criticism of this show and their relationship. So many things are implied but personally I felt like the end half made it pretty clear that these two were 100% a romantic couple. (just wish it was clarified when that change happened) But the progression of their relationship from hate to love was so beautiful to watch. Even if it was just a friendship it was worth it imo to see how close they got. Fair warning, the finale episode is not the best lmao, but I hope we get a second season to sort of fix it? Fingers crossed on that one.

#05. Wan & Ki Tae | Our Dating Sim

This was definitely one of the cutest BL's of the year and this couple falls into that category well too. I really loved seeing them re-connect. I love that they were old best friends (with feelings) that had a lot of issues to sort through and we saw some adorable flashback scenes as well as current scenes. I also love that they got together and were mostly happy instead of having a lot of intense drama.

#04. Li Ming & Heart | Moonlight Chicken

These two... so much to say about them and yet I don't really know where to start. Gemini and Fourth just work so well together and I felt like this duo was even deeper than in MSP. They started out on bad terms but quickly became close and I really loved the progression of their relationship and then I adored how we also got to see them together as a couple too. My favorite thing about them was how hard Li Ming worked to try to understand Heart and how he learned sign language for him and encouraged him to get to know others like him and to put himself out there. They also had such a fun banter with playful moments and scenes. It was just so damn pure and sweet to watch with no unnecessary or stupid fillery drama.

#03. Jae Won and Ji Hyun | The Eighth Sense

Something about this pairing just felt so much different than the typical KBL pairing. The show itself was so much deeper and had a more serious tone than we typically get, which was amazing. The actors nailed the roles and you could really feel the tension and longing between them right from the beginning. I loved their storyline so much and the actors seemed so comfortable together.

#02. Yamato & Kakeru | I Cannot Reach You

This was one of my favorite BL's of the year and their relationship was a huge part of it. I thought I was more into hate to love, but clearly, based on this list, that isn't always the case. There is something so sweet and adorable about best friends turned to lovers. I really love too when we see one side pining for the other, so this couple was extremely enjoyable to watch!

tried to re-read HOO series again and I’m hit in the face at how awful and forced all the new ships are. I feel like if Rick wanted us to get invested in the characters as individuals, we could have had more focus on their journeys without cluttering them down with rapid and poorly thought out romance.

the reason percabeth remains so appreciated to this day is that despite a few OOC scenes or frustrations readers may have, we can all read how Percy and Annabeth are a partnership who love, tease, and respect each other-their values and flaws mesh well to each of their benefit, set steadily against a tumultuous time and their own growing pains. below are the major complaints I have with the other ships and how quite possibly none of them should have been made canon. Not to mention a majority of the series takes place over like 3-4 weeks. (SON-BOO)

Jason x Piper: foundation is built on a lie so Jason feels an immediate obligation to Piper (and we know how seriously he treats his duties) and Piper feels shackled to a guy-due to some kind of time invested/sunk cost fallacy and his good looks-that doesn’t love her the way she wants or needs; if Rick wanted this to happen, they could’ve created a stronger bond as Jason and Piper over the books, not maybeboyfriend!Jason and maybegirlfriend!Piper. Idk, any romance with them felt super forced.

Frank x Hazel: oh my god NO, they are babies, infants in fact! two incredibly young and isolated loner/rejected feeling children who hung out together for some sense of companionship and comfort should not automatically be paired off just because they are both kind, available, attractive, and with deep seated sense of shame in their own being. No. I would have accepted hints towards a future romance maybe once they developed a bit more, acknowledged and made progress on themselves etc. Side note: screw you for the Leo x Hazel x Frank juvénile love triangle. I had to skim/skip those parts.

Leo x Calypso: well, aside from the fact that this just plays into Leo’s issues about needing a girlfriend as a symbol of success and recognition of his own worth…I never got the sense that either of them even LIKED each other. Calypso is always annoyed with Leo and berates him and Leo thinks she’s pretty. She wants an escape that Zeus didn’t give her (ignoring Percy’s requirement) and Leo wants to not be seen as a 7th wheel. But okay, for argument’s sake, let’s say they “love each other”. How do we know that she loves him of her own accord and not just because of the curse that forces her to love whoever lands on her shore? How do we know that Leo isn’t just riding the high of a beautiful woman “wanting him” and calling it love? I mean, a generous estimate says they knew each other like a week/month…and they weren’t chatting and braiding each others hair during that period.

Tyson x Ella: but why though??? There is literally no narrative need to put a romance here. Nothing changes in their dynamic if they were just friends and if we were calling Tyson a BABY in TLO, then I don’t think he’s grown up enough since for a relationship. Stupid and forced.

***Nico and Reyna are both going through no-good, very bad years and should not have to worry about unrequited love on top of it.

Hank is fond of him, he finds him entertaining and nice to look at and listen to, he thinks he's useful on and off the battlefield, and in some ways he feels a sense of ownership over Deimos. not like he literally owns him, but he sees Deimos as an extension of himself, a part of himself, and in that regard a slight against Deimos is a slight against Hank. but he wouldn't call it love

- Deimos has so much admiration for Hank. he thinks Hank is cool as fuck even though he's a little weird and he would follow him off the edge of the earth if Hank asked him to

- would probably an emotionally dependent relationship if either of them stopped bottling things up and compartmentalizing

- but since they have no plans of doing that, there's instead a mutual understanding that sometimes one of them is just Not Good and doesn't wanna make it anyone else's problem

- not overly lovey-dovey with affection but it's tiny gestures that add up throughout the day. a squeeze of the shoulder, pat on the back, sometimes just standing or sitting close enough to touch but never fully indulging it when others are around. their hands linger when they make contact, always reluctant to break away

- when they are alone they cling to each other in a way they never have anyone else. they talk, usually about the mission but every now and then about "us." they don't know what to call it, try as they might to find the words together. but they bring each other peace and that's all that matters

- bonding via sparring matches that usually end in heated makeout sessions on the mats. they're both brimming with rage and aggression 25/8 and they take it out on each other in a controlled environment where they don't feel like they have to hold back anything

- Hank likes picking Deimos up. Deimos's opinions on this are irrelevant

- Deimos has a certain fascination with Hank's hands and just how BIG they are

- Hank will spend hours littering kisses all over the soft, most vulnerable parts of Deimos's body (throat, lower abdomen, inner thighs, etc). it isn't so much a dominance thing as it is the fact that Deimos let's him, Hank JMotherfucker Wimbleton, living weapon and Nevada's most wanted, touch places that would be so easy to hurt, especially when teeth and the metal jaw are involved. it makes him feel a Certain Way and seeing Deimos so flustered afterwards is like crack to him

So very underrated but so much potential

- first, I don't see it happening the normal way

- Doc finds Deimos physically attractive and mentally intriguing, sure, but he is Busy and does not have time for stupid jokes and bright eyes and goofy smiles (no matter how handsome)

- Deimos, submissive in the way a guard dog is, probably doesn't realize he has feelings for 2B at all. like sure the guy makes him nervous sometimes and he likes working one on one with him and hearing his voice over the radio and he's risking his life on the daily for this man because he believes his vision so much and he'd paint the streets red with blood, doesn't matter whose, if it meant Doc would clap him on the shoulder and praise him for a job well done. but that doesn't mean anything, right? he just looks up to him is all

- no, these two are socially inept in the same way and it's like trying to watch the windows screen saver hit a corner but it just keeps Missing The Point

- fortunately, I think they're both very susceptible to trauma bonding via shared horrific experience :)

- they don't ever talk about it after the fact, like never

- but 2B is riddled with guilt because Deimos follows HIM and he put them both in that situation. he deals with a lot of anxiety over Deimos's well being after the fact, but he's self aware enough to not let it get in the way of the mission

- if he assigns Deimos more desk work and puts him in the field less often, it isn't worth mentioning

- Deimos feels the opposite. inadequacy complex be damned, he truly believes he wouldn't have made it without Doc there by his side. reverse savior complex, if you will

- in the early stages I think they were probably heavily dependent on each other emotionally, Doc needing constant reassurance that Deimos is okay and Deimos being so devoted that the thought of upsetting 2B has him spiralling

- socially inept and a little fucked up, but they communicate well with each other. they never talk about It but things come to a head and they start having serious talks about boundaries that they need to have if they're going to make this work

- in time, they help each other heal and the relationship between them grows

- y'know that one quote about two people wanting each other in the way flesh wants to knit itself over a wound? that is them

- they're very physically affectionate with each other, despite what one might expect. like if they're in the same room, they're going to be sitting together or holding hands or something. touch keeps them both grounded in the moment

- they suck at expressing emotions verbally so there aren't any real pet names between them, unless 'Doc' qualifies. Deimos will call him 'Doctor' sometimes but that's usually when he's trying to be a tease

- both massive hypocrites which works in some ways because 2B will be up at 2am doing something and catch Deimos up as well, get on his case about sleeping, and then they'll bicker in a circle until both of them end up cuddled up in bed together

- Doc is naturally cold and Deimos is a walking furnace. they'll spend as much time as they can wrapped up in blankets together, hands laced together, pressing gentle kisses anywhere they can reach without moving too much

- Doc adores Deimos's fangs. he's always been fond of dangerous things and Dei is no exception

- Deimos will come massage 2B's shoulders when he's been cooped up for what Deimos deems to be too long. Doc melts once Deimos starts kissing the nape of his neck

- overall, I think they present the most opportunity for growth to each other. Deimos feels genuinely understood by Doc and Doc knows that he can let his guard down completely when they're together

I think one of Aqua29's (H, Dave, False, Cub) best qualities is that they were an extremely forgiving and consistent team

(I know the MCC just happened, but my brain is going crazy right now and all the details are flying past my head but I hope you'll get the general idea.)

MCC's nature is that it is unpredictable. That's what makes it fun! The chickens, the weird lag (sometimes 💀), luck, sudden clutches, etc etc. But this unpredictability can sometimes mess up teams on a really good trajectory. One "bad" or "unwanted" game would kill a team's morale- I've seen that before.

In the midst of the MCC chaos, Aqua29 is very solid. They were steadily climbing up the ranks and kept their morale high. Even when they won one round of Dodgebolt, they convinced themselves to act like they "were losing". I forgot the English word for it but their mental states / attitudes were very consistent throughout the entire MCC. This helps them power through the unpredictability. Especially for MCC29, which is a well-balanced MCC and pretty difficult to predict (and the stats don't do False and Cub justice in this particular situation).

As I said before, Aqua29 is very forgiving. This allows them space to make mistakes and to bounce back. Dave felt pretty guilty over dying to speedbridging in Sky Battle and said he really usually doesn't do that, and while the loss of the team's best PvPer might be fatal in some other situations, Aqua honestly did fine. Their morale wasn't affected.

In Rocket Spleef Rush, sometimes a teammate would die "early", leaving two teammates behind, and it felt like they took turns dying early, which showed how balanced they were. Same with TGTTOS. Sometimes an individual teammate might get unlucky in a round of TGTTOS, but overall they all worked hard, and they could pull it back.

Battle Box would be another good example, in which they lost the first two rounds, adjusted their strategy, and then did better. Dave also apologised for missing the comms during the round against Purple, but like SkB, they progressed normally.

In Grid Runners, sometimes they placed bottom half in some rooms, but they steadily improved and cleared them faster- ending up in the last room in which H bossed everyone around and they got through it the quickest. There is a narrative: they learned from earlier "mistakes", had the room to afford making mistakes, and improved. Therefore, they rose up.

And Dodgebolt. Dodgebolt! All four of them are good at it. Of course, we have HBomb, king of Dodgebolt. Then Dave, confident PvPer. The two hermits, both great shots, have grown more confident in their skills. They all trusted themselves to the point they didn't need H to nudge the arrow in their direction- they just picked up the arrow if they felt like it. Cub did that, and he got his kills. Even if half of the team was taken out, or heck, even if it was a 1v3, they had enough skill to power through. All four of them were in good shape, felt great, and meshed well together.

In a way, Aqua29 are each other's safety nets. No one got top 10. Their placements were: 12th, 13th, 20th, 21st. Which honestly wasn't too far from each other. You won't really expect a team with those individual rankings to get second in coins, but they did. Even if False ended up losing the 1v3, her valiant efforts would motivate the team even more and I'm sure they would've won (even though a Cyan reverse sweep would be cool).

And it's this kind of stability and mutual support that powered them through MCC. They didn't get the finale they wanted (Survival Games), that was out of their control, but they squeezed themselves into Dodgebolt anyway. I won't deny that they were lucky- MCC is unpredictable, so luck is often a factor, but I feel they could weather a storm.

Aqua29 is a nice team to watch live. They always bring it back, and I'm not just talking about placements or coins, it's also their morale. This team is going up with Blue9 and Purple15 as one of the competitive hermit teams with best overall team synergy. They were very stable and encouraging of each other <3

Just saw your zaundads hcs and needed more! How do you think Silco interacts with vi/mylo/claggor, or even a less traumatized Powder? Does silco’s involvement change how vander parents?

Per my own headcanons in FnF, Silco, had Vander not drowned him, would've been an incredibly hands-on presence in the children's lives, for multiple reasons - needing to 'reconnect' with his own vulnerable self after everything he'd endured in Stillwater, needing to compensate for inadvertently orphaning the kids in the Day of Ash after his plans went awry, needing to rechannel his energies into 'training' a new generation of fighters against Topside's boot, needing to fill the void of the tragedy in his own life after Bloody Sunday...

This would both a) take a load off Vander's shoulders as the sole caretaker + de facto leader of the Undercity, and b) create more problems for him because now he'd need to co-parent + Silco would expect him to take his counsel seriously.

The domestic climes would be tempestuous, to put it mildly.

Re: his relationship with the kids - Powder would be his favorite. Hands-down. He wouldn't even bother to hide it. She's got a personality that meshes wonderfully with his (introverted but incredibly bright, emotionally intuitive, skilled at delicate work, good with numbers), and he'd take exception to the way she's bullied by Mylo, and give her lots of one-on-one attention. In fact, he'd end up converting his 'workspace' into her playspace, similar to canon, so they could hang out together while doing their own thing.

Vi and he would have their fair share of friction. They're both bossy, headstrong, passionate and deeply opinionated. Vi would resent taking orders from him; he'd be irritated with how much she reminds him of younger Vander. Also, in times when he and Vander aren't getting along, it'd be super tempting to project his irritation onto Vi, especially if she's gotten into trouble, or done something reckless.

In mellow moments, though, these two would make a formidable team. Especially as Vi gets older, and her politics begin aligning more with Silco's. I headcanon that by the time Vi's in her late twenties and a bit more mellow, it wouldn't be uncommon for them to begin teaming up to argue with Vander against a more pacifist strategy or the best way to handle a turf dispute.

The boys, if Silco was an influence in their home life, would not be half as soft. Both Mylo and Claggor, understandably, come off as a little naive, and undeveloped (Mylo wanting to prove himself, and putting down Powder in the process due to insecurity; Claggor mild-natured and well-meaning, but lacking his own impetus, and happy to go along w/ Vi's plans).

Silco would take one gander, pull a face, and put the boys to work as lookouts, runners, or muscle. Judging by how he raised Jinx to be hypercompetent but also incredibly hypervigilant as a form of survival, you can bet your boots the strategy would be replicated tenfold on the boys, who'd mirror, in his mind, his and Vander's boyhood.

Mylo's lock-picking skills would get developed by experts in the Lanes. The boy would be full-on burglarizing Topside homes by his early teens. Claggor's patience would be cultivated as a lookout. The boy would know half the Lanes' business before it's even made official.

By 18, he'd also have taken them to Babette's to get their V-cards cashed in.

Y'know.

As a treat.

Suffice it to say, his parenting style and Vander's would differ vastly, and lead to all sorts of disagreements. The kids themselves would grimly joke that they grew up in a home that, er "valued spirited and robust debate."

Yes, Roy certainly does have a type, doesn't he? lol

Warning for ot3 shipping clownery here (surprise, surprise) but... Roy and Jamie and Keeley are all so deeply compatible; this does not need really need to be said on my blog but, I am so deeply insane about it and them!! Like yes, Jamie & Keeley have a lot in common, but so do Jamie & Roy, and even Roy & Keeley, and all three of them. And it's not only the more superficial hobbies and interests stuff, but also deeper personality stuff, and they have a world of differences too, but all together it just somehow works.

Jamie & Keeley share an interest in fashion and presentation and parties and events and knowing how to work a room. They're both incredibly charming personalities. They're also both really smart in ways that are more unconventional or not immediately recognizable & easily dismissed by other people around them (but Roy sees and admires them both so much for it, I think). I also think Keeley & Jamie feel the need to prove themselves because of their backgrounds, and that contributes to them both being incredibly hard workers; however, it can lend itself to them occasionally overdoing it and not taking care of themselves. Someone like Roy grounds them both I think and reminds them when they need to take a step back.

Jamie & Roy obviously share football, but I do think Roy sees a lot of his younger self in Jamie and that's been a big contributor to both their previous strife as well as the current protectiveness Roy has over him. They're both very ambitious and headstrong and stubborn with professional athlete egos and arrogance to match. I think they've also both felt very isolated and unworthy of being loved at various points in their lives, and they've both used that arrogance as a mask or a crutch in certain ways. They just get each other, even while in other ways they are complete opposites.

Roy & Keeley, we've seen why they work so beautifully on the show, but to me they are the perfect example of opposites attract. Keeley is able to bring out a playfulness and lightness in Roy like only Phoebe (and, I think Jamie is getting there, too) has been able to do. And Roy brings out Keeley's confidence and allows her to shine.

All three of them are so passionate about the things and people they love; and they love fiercely, too. It's like, Roy is clingy and needs someone to smother with love, and Jamie is the perfect recipient of the smothering whereas it can make Keeley feel uncomfortable; Jamie & Keeley are more extroverted and can handle the press and the celebrity so that Roy doesn't have to; When Jamie wants to go do his young footballer all-night clubbing with the boys thing, I picture Keeley & Roy just basking in a quiet night in, even if it's just Keeley on her laptop and Roy reading his books. Also, Keeley is the mastermind who can draw out these two boys' emotions and get them to openly talk to each other. Their love languages just mesh when it's all three of them! Not to mention, they all have deeply crazy undeniable chemistry.

All that to say, put together the combined force of Jamie and Keeley, and Roy is so far gone....

Thank you to everyone who participated so far, this was a lot of fun! I'm posting the first half now since I haven't received anything new in 2 days and I wouldn't want the others to wait for an indefinite amount of time to see their results. Somehow the moment I finished reading your description, my mind instantly shot to Midoriya and wouldn’t budge. Other possibilities? Sure, but I feel that Deku just makes sense. You’re simply the kind of person he would absolutely love and appreciate. As a fellow shy person he would immediately notice you. He would then soon remark just how well your personalities mesh together. You share his struggles and this is exactly why he’d be the best at supporting you and vice versa. Although it would be a comical sight to have both of you erratically overthinking an issue. Your hobbies and interests are quiet and introverted and would allow Deku to just spend some peaceful time with you and forget about the rest of the world. And on top of that, he’s patient and very socially aware so he would always actively listen to you. He’d probably have you figured out in no time. He’s the kind of partner that would have a little notebook to keep track of your likes and surprise you with the most thoughtful gifts at random times. “I saw you reading that book and the sequel is out, so I already got it for you!”

I’ve picked Todoroki and Tokoyami for similar reasons, both introverted and attentive. I feel like Tokoyami would be surprisingly romantic and sensitive. And Todoroki would go the extra mile to learn about your interests so he can have plenty of things to talk to you about. Now, Kaminari is that spicy opposite that might work against all odds. He’s loud and social, but also artistic. He’d love your humor and often push you out of your comfort zone while still being mindful. Although he might be a little too energetic for your preference at times. It could balance out nicely. Amajiki would also pull you out of your shell, but for different reasons! Whatever you’re struggling with, he’s twice as bad. Someone has to lead the way out. But he’ll be eternally grateful for that and will often let you know just how undeserving he is of someone like you.

Look mates- I know I’m been posting often it’s because I’m hype for the content that is coming soon, and I might as well give you my headcanons about Netherborn and avian culture and why they are so similar and mesh well together. (Yes in the lens of Ranchers). Though I did warn you that I will be “normal” during this whole period.

1. There’s tons of similarities between the two species. They are very social in general. They tend to create strong bonds that forms a group that are very invested in. The avian version would be a flock. A flock can be with actual biological family or those that the avian deems close.it’s actually quite common for avians to have anyone they care about into said flock. And avians don’t care if you are of the same species. If you are friendly you probs gonna be part of flock whether you know it or not. if a avian considers Themself unworthy or something is wrong with them by the actions of their flock they will isolate themselves and just become mentally unwell but their instincts will not blame them. Some avians if they are treated unfairly for too long a time will start to be aggressive and act out. Meanwhile Netherborns have a similar social structure in terms of packs. Formed because netherborns were the bottom of the food chain in the Nether as a form of protection. So they are very protective of those they consider in their pack. But with this idea unlike avians who thinks they are the problem when their flock treats them horribly. If any pack mate does the same all the netherborns in the pack will harshly kick them out. Because this came from a protective measure any they deem traitors to them or the collective is something they need to discard. If only one netherborn is betrayed someway in a pack they made will become aggressive towards the traitor if they aren’t immediately handled and kicked out. Because they would consider the person the Ulimate enemy. This is called a rage. A rage can also happen if they consider their pack at risk because of a enemy. Which again makes them protective and ride or die (COUGH ranch burning)

2. Both are very different flavors of home oriented. Avians tend to build nests as a form of courting. And usually a nest they build is very detailed. For example in the case of their partner being of another species or culture the kitchens will always be full of ingredients hailing form where they come from. Everything in that nest will be personalized to match them both perfectly. It’s literally a taboo to burn down a nesting house because of how much time and effort goes into one that calms down the avian instincts Meanwhile the version of netherborns have is dens. Instead of focusing on the detail they have a strong culture on the atmosphere. They believe that in a mateship each is equal therefore their responsibilities in the den is shared equally no matter what. They don’t strive for comfort like avians but it’s more like- anywhere with their mate is their home. But once settled they do get attached to their dens. They like to know their beloved is safe in the den. When a netherborn den is harmed can easily make them go in a rage. As they instinctively feel that is blatant threat towards them and their beloved.

3. Avians tend to court by the best way I can say is showing off. They will spread out their wings in homes their crush will say their wings are pretty. They will sing and dance in order to catch someone eye. They will make homemade gifts to show them they can make them pretty things. They will also gift shiny things as a way of showing their crush that they are thinking of them. And they eventually become very clingy and affectionate once it’s official. Netherborns rarely have a chance to court someone but when they do it’s obvious. Netherborns are open with their feelings and they show it both by words and their touch. Hence a netherborn in love will shout praise and will find any means of being affectionate with their crush. Their tails will always be hugging them. They also are really into gift giving especially of its something that was made thinking of them.

4. Both speak common but they have vocalizations they make when happy. Both can date species without happy noises but avians and netherborns in general tend to be more attracted to people that do make happy noises. It warms them up inside because their instincts know that their beloved is happy and content. And that makes them happy. Avians tend to chirp at each other as a way of saying hi or I love you. Avians also chirp when they are relaxed or sleepy. Avians also makes coos when happy. Netherborns happy noises are usually deep purs that is their way of saying I love you or I feel safe with you. Both species are heart eyes if their beloved makes happy noises because of them. (Avians and Netherborns both flirt by purposefully making said noises. It’s avian and netherborn version of saying pet names or sweet nothings to each other in common)

5. Both are sorta domestic. Avians like to care for their romantic partner. They will randomly gift their flock and their partner food to make sure they are healthy. It’s common for avians courting to make their intended so much food. Netherborns meanwhile are the same because again Nether is a harsh place so they tend to give their mate food as a form of flirting. Both tend to be good cooks.

Therefore Tango being a netherborn and Jimmy being a avian suit each other so well. They get all the romantic cues a overworlder for example would ignore or miss. Tango can immediately pick up what’s wrong or right. And same for Jimmy picking up stuff on tango end. They have similar courting methods. And have the same protectiveness towards each other. They feel strongly about the concept of a safe place to live together in. They are naturally very affectionate. Tango easy affection at Jimmy showing off avian wise makes Jimmy flustered immensely. Tango is probably the only that Jimmy ever sang or danced for and he was embrassed he wasn’t as good as his brother and flockmate Grian. But tango loved it and said so. Jimmy randomly picks up shiny stuff and puts in Tango hand. Tango being given something by his beloved tail waves and gets happy noises. Jimmy and Tango have flirt battles only using their happy vocalizations. Netherborns and avians suit each other. What can I say

without forgetting other members of teal chaotix of course, i also think the best moment to undroduce them could be not in sonic movie 3 but in the fourth, beacause of shadow plus maybe amy and MAYBE SILVER, too much characters, and i really wanna see espio becoming the powerfulest ninja warrior as well as i see him in my mind, so to take the time to make an amazing enter they should make them in 4th movie

One the one hand, I would love to see more members of the game cast in the movies, but on the other hand, I think said movies have a setting that makes it highly difficult to incorporate the game cast in the way they deserve and that gives each added individual time to shine. In short, I feel like the fact the movies take place in the human world and with human characters as main casts makes it difficult to introduce game characters. In the second movie, the (by lack of a better term) OC human characters were kind of 'left out' into a wedding plot while Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Robotnik were doing all sorts of things with the compass and Master Emerald. And though eventually the anthro plotline and the human character plotline did come together again at the end of the wedding, I fear future instalments will suffer from the same thing: Tom and Maddie will have to be added somehow, but how to best reconcile that with the further introduction of the game cast? It would be weird to leave especially Tom out because of the central role he plays within the universe of the movies, but in the same vein, how often can the creators justify/come up with plots where the game characters travel to the human world without it getting old?

But that is just my overall view on introducing game characters into the movies, that has little to do with your question at hand. I'm not getting my hopes up for the creators introducing more characters of the games into the movies, especially less-known ones like the Chaotix or Silver, but I would absolutely love to see it! And I feel that there could be ways in which it can work, for example if the movies begin taking place entirely in a fictional setting as opposed to the human world. Though, I do fear the Chaotix are not popular or well-known-enough characters to get a whole movie for themselves. But in the same vein, I can see them be fun supporting characters in a grander overall plot! Their shtick as detectives can easily be added to many different stories, in my opinion, so I do not think much needs to be changed to their general purpose. Nor do their personalities need much editing either; they're fun and they mesh together well both within the Chaotix and with the game cast at large. With Shadow properly introduced in Sonic 3 and maybe characters like Metal Sonic or Amy (though I do doubt they'll get added, to be quite honest, especially Metal Sonic) as well, it might be too busy to also introduce the Chaotix, but I do think they can have a nice role in an upcoming instalment of the movies.

Okay, so someone asked about the life where Visenya is Daemon and Rhaenyra’s daughter, but my inbox somehow ate it??? I have no idea, probably my bad, but it was basically just asking for a more in depth description so:

The first major difference is that Rhaenyra and Daemon spend way more time in King’s Landing than they do when both twins live. This is really because Nyra feels more comfortable leaving them behind knowing they have each other, and she doesn’t have that same comfort in lives where one of them is born without the other. Especially because both of the twins are very much pack animals, and they don’t do well by themselves.

Baelon’s lonely without Visenya. He doesn’t mesh well with children outside his family. Nyra can’t just abandon him.

So, they stay. They behave themselves as best as they can. They try to get along with Viserys’s expectations. And when Baelon’s four, instead of having Aegon, they have Visenya.

Baelon is enamored by Visenya. He’s never been around a baby before, and now there’s suddenly this little thing with the biggest eyes and she smiles whenever he pokes his head over her bassinet??? Daemon lets him pick her egg, and it hatches? She learns to walk and then she’s always right on his heels, trying to hold his hand, and her first word is his name (well more like Ba, but she was pointing towards him so he counts it)?? She thinks he’s the best thing ever and she wants Baelon to put her to bed and Baelon to read her a story even though he isn’t very good at reading yet and Baelon to play with her??? He falls asleep next to her bed so often that Nyra starts checking there first whenever they find him out of bed in the middle of the night. Visenya has this child’s entire heart in her pudgy little baby hands.

Everyone thinks it’s adorable right up until Rhaenyra and Daemon start having more kids (when Visenya is five, maybe? we’ll say five)

Because, look, he thinks they’re neat and everything. But Aegon cries all the time, and Viserys doesn’t like any of the games that Baelon played with Visenya when she was that little, and there’s something just not quite the same with any of them as it is with Visenya. He’s okay with being around them, but he prefers it when it’s just him and Visenya wreaking havoc all on their own.

They, however, do not. They much prefer to be right where their big sister is, whether Baelon’s there or not, and he’s just gotta deal with it. And he is blindingly jealous of the fact that she just lets them, that sometimes she’ll go off with them without him at all, because he isn’t her twin brother in this life but he still thinks of himself as hers.

So, yeah, maybe he takes her side a little too zealously whenever she gets into fights with her siblings. Maybe “Aegon stole my toy!” turns into Baelon smacking him in the face, or he bites Daemon back when he bites Visenya’s arm. But he doesn’t see anything wrong with that. She’s his favorite. Of course he’s going to defend her.

It doesn’t matter how many times Nyra and Daemon try to talk to him about it. He doesn’t care. He is in the right as far as he’s concerned and they aren’t changing his mind about it.

It does not get better as they age.

It gets significantly worse.

Because as they age, they’re still thick as thieves! Sure, he’s a little older, but neither of them really think of it. They’re each other’s best friends in the world. They fly together (he cannot count how many times Daemon jumps down his throat about going on late night flights with no chaperone, but he doesn’t see the issue with that either) and they spend most of their time together. He doesn’t think that anything is going to change.

But then she turns fifteen??? And the suitors start coming??? And all of a sudden she is being swarmed by these little pissant lords with their sugary words and their sly eyes, and Daemon is chaperoning walks in the gardens, and Viserys is talking about his eldest granddaughter’s wedding??

He realizes pretty quickly that he just can’t let that fly and that maybe he’s a little bit in love with her. Which he probably should have realized sooner but, hey, Targaryen men aren’t always the brightest or most emotionally in touch.

He realizes this in the middle of almost killing one of her suitors, actually, and he only stops because one of the Kingsguard is dragging him off, and he looks up to see her on the dais overlooking the training yard and she’s grinning. He just beat the crap out of one of the men she might marry in the training yard, and she’s looking at him like he just hung the moon, and he knows.

He’s hers, and she’s his, and he’s banging on Rhaenyra and Daemon’s door before the blood is dry on his hands.

After that, things go basically the same. They get married, they have kids, they’re gross and feral and very them. It’s a mostly happy life.
