The rake isn’t just one entity, there’s actually a lot of them out there. Rakes are often misidentified as sleep paralysis demons throughout history

Slenderman and the Operator are the same creature, but the name varies from place to place. There are also many different interpretations of him across the globe; no one really knows there’s more than one slender creature and so all over the world people view him as either a monstrous demon or a kind guardian, which is mainly because of Splendorman’s existence.

(Yes I am aware Slenderman and the Operator are not canonically the same being !! This is just for my au)

Zalgo at one point in time had a whole religion around him. Said religion has disappeared over time and only remains in the form of a single cult.

We really don’t know how much Ace knew about his mother. He knew of her sacrifice, holding him for 20 months before giving birth. He knew of her last name enough to take it rather than his father’s. But do you think Garp told him other things? Even just her appearance? Like how he got his freckles from her. Or how she wore hibiscus flowers in her hair. Do you think Ace tried to find a hibiscus flower, to try find out what she might of even smelled like?

Imagine his heartbeat finding out hibiscus flowers are scentless…

persona headcanon:

after futaba's first mementos trip, she (somehow) makes like a music player that works in the monabus and connects to spotify or whatever. when haru joins (cause they still don't know if they are ever going to stop getting new members at this point) it becomes an initiation rite to show off your playlist during your first mementos trip

and then akechi joins and goes like "oh. haha, i don't have a playlist, i apologize. perhaps i should make one!"

he actually does have a playlist, but it's for his black mask personality. so he literally pulls an all-nighter making a detective prince playlist

If Slenderman were to speak, his voice would sound like a bunch of jumbled up voices from an old TV. His words would be completely incomprehensible and unintelligible, and just the sound of his voice would feel off. Like something was seriously wrong with the voices. Sounding so human, and yet it’s the most otherworldly unfamiliar sound you’d ever hear.

The Rake makes a multitude of different sounds. The main sound it makes naturally is a sort of throaty raspy moan, but it also can imitate the sounds of humans to lure them in. When it’s attacking, it will let out a guttural scream that sounds like it’s in the most agonizing pain imaginable. It’s not. The scream you hear is the imitation of the last person it attacked, and once it’s finished with you, your voice will be the last thing its next victim hears.

Sean/Shiny Headcanons

-He's actually like,,, a MASSIVE loser lmao. He tries to appear like this sadistic, cold, and manipulative cult leader, but in reality he's just a really desperate junkie. Which in a sense, he is a junkie; he's addicted to the Speaker. Like Lee said in the 'Interrogation' video, he has been listening to the Speaker's whispering in his ear for so damn long, he's addicted to it. Now, i'm not sure what the Speaker could be saying, since from Lee's experience, it was torturous, but for Sean i think it would be the opposite. So i guess the headcanon is: the Speaker feeds Sean's ego, showering him with complimentd about how good of a leader he is, or how strong he is, or anything that would appeal to him, and that's how he keeps Sean under his control.

And that makes sense, because it's the Speaker, it's an honour to even be spoken to by him, and he's getting all these compliments? He must be doing something right, he must be special.

-Also, here's just my theory/HC on why Sean of all the members got to be the cult leader: i think that Sean was the easiest to influence. I believe that as a person, he was always a bit egotistical. That might be because of childhood, or him having to harden up for some reason, (i'm too tired to make a whole theory about his childhood sorry 😭) but i think even before the cult he would act very guarded. Like he would have walls up every second as to not get hurt.

So when he learned about the The Family, he thought, 'maybe that's where i belong'. And his goal from the start would have been to be the leader, to be worshipped and loved. So he came in that cult with determination, he was hard and would do anything the higher ups told him, even hurting people if needed. So The Speaker noticed him, and he thought, 'that's my target'. His ego is easy to feed, and therefore, easy to manipulate. So The Speaker fed him with compliments, making him believe he was the chosen one.

-I actually think Sean's story is really damn sad, but also he kinda deserved it. The man left all of his family and friends, wanting to feel loved and worshiped by someone. With the delusions added on by the other cultists, he was completely blind. Although, of course, nothing is black and white, and i'm sure he knew what he was doing. He was aware he was hurting people, people that trusted him, but he didn't care, and was blinded by greed and hunger for praise. Which in hindsight, made him hated by his followers. He was rude, pretentious, and arrogant. He believed he was the Chosen, the One, the man who would create portals between worlds, and The Speaker's favourite.

But in the end, that was all in vain. Because when he was gone, he was replaced. Lexx took over, and clearly she was more loved than him. So he grew bitter, and angry, even after death. Even in 'Limbo', he was bitter and lonely. I guess that was his fate from the start.

danganronpa headcanon 7:

when nagito first woke up alongside everyone else, he managed a few steps out of his pod before all his memories came rushing back: his time in hope's peak, chiaki's death, his time as servant, ect.

basically, everyone else is hugging their friends who they thought they lost, and suddenly nagito just. breaks down.

like collapsing to his knees, and crying. nobody knows what to do because literally no one had seen him cry before. hajime helps him calm down though!

also danganronpa headcanon 7.5 cause i thought of it while writing this headcanon: with some help from alter ego, kazuichi builds chiaki a robot 'body'

CKY Birthday Gift Headcanons (because apparently I can't sleep):

Bam - he gets you the best present, but this is simply because he threw his money at April and begged her to buy something because he has no idea. If left to his own devices he will get you something gaudy and insanely expensive.

Ryan - for your birthday he gives you a hug. Not because he forgot, but because the idea of going out and trying to find something you'd want seems frustrating and exhausting to him. Sometimes he showers beforehand as an extra treat.

Raab - now Raab 100% forgot. However, he does feel terrible about it and insists on buying you a drink at the bar later, and is loudly (read: drunkenly) telling anyone who will listen that it's your birthday.

Rake - he never forgets anyone's birthday, but tends to go with the traditional bottle of alcohol as a gift. Is always the first one to wish you happy birthday.

Novak - he gives you $10. He is conviently forgetting he owes you $50.

Dico - it is 50/50. Either he gets you the most thoughtful gift because you mentioned it once and it was something really hard to get hold of and he made it a challenge to find it, or he will fart and say that's your gift. There is zero inbetween.

What is the rake like in your au ?

OOOO YESS THE RAKE!!

(Sorry if I don’t right that much rn it’s past midnight and I’m kinda tired)

The Rake in my AU primarily lives inside of Zalgo’s Labrinth, since it’s easy for it to live there due to the fact that the servants just give it whatever food it needs at that current moment.

It’s a cryptic that can hop dimensions frequently and has accessed a lot of “secret” Labrinths such as The Operator’s Garden and the Spirit Realm. Does anybody know how on Earth the Rake managed to access all of this? No, but it sure is convenient to follow it.

If frequently feasts on the dead bodies littered around the Forest, and Zalgo often feeds his dead subjects to it every time he kills any assassins.

The rake is just chill and it just exists anywhere it wants to. Slenderman doesn’t mind it since it’s useful for getting rid of evidence, and it’s friends with Sally.

Certain Creeps such as Liu and Masky are terrified of it but most of them are like “AYYY THE RAKE IS HERE”.

I’ll go more in depth sometime :)
